From the beginning of existence there have been humans that didn't fit into society. They have always existed in our tiny little world under our eyes. Only since recently the humans came to accept the other intelligent beings on their green planet. They were understood, their necessities tried to be met. It suddenly went really quick, they got their own rights and almost got treated like every other human. It was like they suddenly noticed that all the other races on the planet didn't actually mean any harm to the humans. The world took quite a change after that. The monsters hidden in the corners of the city started coming out like it was the most normal thing to do and adapted to the human life, clothes, food, items they were all being made for the different kind of races. Just like different kind of buildings, hospitals, offices and off course school buildings!
An academy located at coastal side in a small seaside city. It stands apart from all the other buildings in the city, slightly up the hill with adjected sport fields and gardens. Despites being located on such an unknown location on the map the school is still well known due to its special aspect. It is one of the four schools on earth that allows any demi human into its lessons. It is built with the demi humans in mind, like cargo elevators for the somewhat bigger students. Underground gardens and classrooms for the students that can't stand the sharp sunlight. A whole water tube system running through the school for any water aspected students to attend all lessons by the help of an aquarium at the back of the classroom and a swimway for their own. Truly a school of the future.
This school has everything imaginable. With demi humans first on the list humans come second. Thousands of them try to attend the school just for its high tech studying equipment and some of the highest grades of the entire country. The fun lessons the teachers give the students and the 5 star deluxe food they serve at the canteen. Every student would wish for this dream, yet only around 500 are invited here out of randomness, perhaps even with the fear to stay alive between all the demi humans. The students are free to go where they want as long as they are on time at their next lesson of the day. Most of the demi humans don't intend to leave the campus just because some humans in the city are not as forgiving as others are and continuously stare at them but that doesn't mean they aren't allowed to go. The academy is self sustainable with solar panels and its own water purification system underground from the sea so the ones staying inside the academy all day don't lack any necessities.

Classes
Aside from your normal everyday classes there is also a wide variety in special classes you can participate in. Like, classes you can take to train on your own powers, some might think they can't fit in any of those classes since they have a rare power but sure enough there is something for everyone at this school to train on. Perhaps you wanted to take up an instrument or learn to fold paper in specific ways, if you want it you can get it! There are plenty of teachers with weird hobbies to help you learn these kind of things. These classes can be taken a few hours during school time and everything over those hours you get will be written on your own time. There is also a wide variety of classroom where you can learn stuff on your own like the library a dojo located on the campus or the swimming pool inside the sports building.
