@Melpaws@Spriggs27

A...witch?

A few bad experiences with witches and magical types made the ghost wary of them. If she had known Kyoko was a witch from the start, this entire relationship might have gone in an entirely different manner. Granted, Kyoko didn't seem the type to press her into service against her will like a few had tried to do in the past, but...Odette could help but to be put on her guard a little now. Thankfully, at times like this her stony face came in quite handy. It would likely be quite difficult to tell her thoughts from her facial expression.

Instead, she acted in a totally appropriate manner and poked Kyoko right in the forehead. Even if they had only met, she let her believe she was human. That deserved a poke on the forehead at the very least. Also, it was always fun to mess with witches a little bit. The last necromancer who she ran into, now had a fear of ghosts and she still found that hilarious. Especially if she happened upon him by accident.

She then crossed her arms, turning to Ash with a neutral expression. Alchemy? That sounded vaguely familiar, though she couldn't place it. She was curious as to what exactly these 'potions' were though. Not like she could ever actually drink anything...at least, in her experience she couldn't.

~Ustha-Kth, Bea~

@Blu

"Never been to the ocean?" Bea tilted her head to the side, trying to put those words together in a coherent sentence and failing. How could one not have been to the ocean? The ocean was the most beautiful sight in the cosmos. Granted, she was likely speaking of an entirely different ocean but she was certain the ones on earth were just as beautiful. Were humans not born with the ability to swim? She supposed she could attempt to teach, but she didn't think that'd be very...effective considering multiple things.

"Ah..." She smiled, giving the thought of Lily, Edward, Hinako, and Ascot a dismissive shake of her head. "Those little ants simply are doing what they must. Little birdie can not fault them for that, for they are not entirely wrong." She giggled, though didn't feel the need to elaborate. He'd find out in time, with his own eyes. Besides, little cub was hungry...and well, she was hungry as well since she never got that food. She was interrupted by bunny dragon and then she had to take care of this adorable precious little human child.

"Ah, no little cub if you are hungry...well, this little birdie never did get to eat either. Aaah, I do so miss the days when mother birdie would feed me all I wanted, hehe~" She giggled. "Big sis can show you to the dorms...but how about the little birdie and little cub go find food after?"

Zac was content for now, just watching and listening, looking between the different groups and conversations. It was all very interesting to him, absorbing all this information. He had learnt most peoples names by now without even having to meet anyone, just by listening to their conversations. Creepy, sure, but helpful. He had names for the short stories going on around him. Although the one thing he didn't notice was the girl staring at him.

He was caught off guard at first as he was approached, not really expecting anyone to notice him. He never was noticed much, even before, so it was a little surprising to him. But, very much welcome all the same.
"Oh, hi there. I wouldn't quite say lonely, but some company is always welcome." Zac replied after getting over the initial surprise, smiling at her. Although he somewhat enjoyed being the fly on the wall sometimes, it was getting a little lonely, so he was grateful for someone to talk to. Possibly a new friend! the girl seemed nice, and kinda cute too.
"It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Zachary Ainsworth, but call me Zac." He added, extending a hand forwards for her to shake.
"Oh, you had to walk up the hill? I caught the bus and I thought that was hot enough, and crowded."

Kyoko Sakura

The cold feeling of the chitin-covered finger running down her nose left her stunned, somewhat confused too. It didn´t take much longer until Odette reacted too and poked Kyoko on her forehead. She was not entirely sure how to react, but she just assumed that it was no bad thing. However now that she mentioned it, Ash really seemed eager to try on her hat. Kyoko found it funny how Ash just assumed that Kyoko owned such a pointy witch-hat. Well yes, she did but... she really did fell into the clichee witch-type.
"Well I guess you could always try it on... though I am not sure why you´d wanna do that."

Kyoko said, crossing her arms too. But now Ash said something quite interesting for kyoko, appearantly she was able to make runes and some potions. Now of course Kyoko was able to make runes too, that is if they were talking about the same kind of runes. It could always be that the things Kyoko, as a witch, considered as runes could be entirely different than what an ant-human would consider a "rune". Therefore she wanted to see for herself what her runes were, until she would judge.
"Well... I guess? I do know how to make runes... but maybe you´re thinking about a different kind of rune that I am thinking about. Also, I rarely ever create any potions, which doesn´t mean that I am bad at it. I just rarely do it really.
Speaking of luggage... I do need to get mine too. We should probably go and get it.
"

The witch pointed towards the direction where they were initially headed to anyway, since her luggage was there.
"Using the right catalyst, I can also try to teach you two some spells later if you like. Something like simple telepathy should be possible even for non-magical beings. That´s what catalysts are for after all!"
She mentioned with a wide grin, already starting to walk in the direction she pointed to earlier.

Ceriwedyn

The black haired young woman had arrived at the school, without much hard ship. She found somewhere to sit while she waited for things to begin, and she soon fell asleep, leaning against the wall, she didn't fall off her chair. It was probably a good thing that she was asleep. The overwhelming emotions of fellow students would have, perhaps, sent her completely spirlling out of control. And that was not what she wanted on her first day. As it was, Ceri experienced weird, emotion filled dreams. The young girl had no idea what she was going to do, to survive in the school, but she had to stay. She had no where else to go, after all. What she simply wanted in the school was to, well, stay sane.

She just wanted to find a place to belong. She hoped that that place was here. She just wanted...some understanding. She wanted to learn how to control what she could do, to learn how to make sure she wasn't going to explode, or explode someone else. Stirring awake, Ceri realised that she had missed just about everything and was probably now...weird to everyone. Sighing to herself, she moved through the crowd, keeping her ears open and listening to people. She made sure not to touch anyone, the mere empathy without touch was more then enough to make her jittery, to make her feel like she was going to become overwhelmed, and she hugged herself.

She didn't try to get close to anyone, as she tried to make her way to the dorms, to where she hoped her gear was. Becoming more and more overwhelmed, Ceri spun away from anyone close to her, dashing away and making sure that she didn't come close to anyone. Shaking slightly, the young elf bowed her head, and breathed in and out slowly. Her hands curled into fists, her fingernails digging into the palm of her hands, drawing blood as she tried to focus on her own emotions. "Why can't I...control this?" She whispered to herself, letting her black hair fall over her face.

☾ Tsukihana

Bea's answer concerning the earlier group of students leaves Tsuki a bit puzzled... Okay, a lot puzzled. What does she mean when she says that they are simply doing what they must? She even adds onto it that what they're doing has some justification. Tsuki doesn't feel satisfied with the answer Bea gave him. "But being mean to someone is just plain wrong... Unless Big Sis-" He stops himself. Did Bea do something to provoke such reactions from that group? No way! Big Sis is a good person. At least, that's the truth he holds onto so dearly. Oh sweet Summer child. Naivety thy name is... this kid's name. But enough about that.

Bea mentions that she, too, is famished and brings up the idea of getting food after she shows Tsuki to the dorms. Metaphorical stars appear in Tsuki's eyes and his expression changes into an excited smile. As much as he may have denied it earlier to avoid troubling Bea any further, the kid wants food. "Well... If Big Sis is hungry, why don't we go get food first and then head to the dorms? You know, since you're hungry, Big Sis." He suggests in an attempt to slyly steer their direction to someplace with food. Did he forget about how his stomach was growling earlier? Subtlety is not his strong suit unfortunately.

Lily Flameheart

Lily left the premises, grabbing a chocolate bar or two as she went. She was quite fond of them, you see. The way their flavor just melted into your mouth, it was simply divine. She then traversed the corridors and hallways of the school once again, looking for any sight of Bea and the boy.

Mostly the latter though. She wouldn't give a care if she would never meet that arrogant eldritch girl ever again.

Her dainty feet eventually took her to the swimming pool, located in the back of the school. And lo and behold, she finally found the two conversing there.

And as she had suspected, they were close. Real close. Too close for comfort, in fact.

That Bea, she would bet her dragon tail that she hadn't told him about what she was.

"Ah, Bea, we meet again," she said coolly as she walked towards the two, pretending that she meeting them was all a coincidence. It wouldn't do to just shout something like "Stay away from her!" to the boy, as that would definitely just amuse the eldritch girl. She had to play it calm and cool, show her that she didn't really have any power over her.

"I assume this is your new acquaintance?" Lily continued, "Why don't you introduce him? I am curious, how a young boy like him could enter this academy."

Lily eyed the two of them carefully, but her attention was mostly towards Bea. She made sure if she tried any funny moves to scare her, she would turn into her half-dragon form right away.

Edward Carter

Edward nodded and watched Lily go. It seemed he was right to think that she shared some of his concerns regarding Bea. Good, it would be useful to have an extra pair of eyes on the other girl.

He chuckled to himself lightly; nobody ever believed him when he said he was human upon seeing him deal with an Elder One, which was unfortunate. One thing Matthew, and Matthew's mentor before him, and his mentors mentor before that, drilled constantly into his head, is that for whatever ability or power granted to him by the Key, he was just a human. Nothing more, nothing less; to assume so was folly of the highest order, and a complete reversal of the purpose of the Key.

He turned to Ascot. It seemed angel had unwittingly touched upon a sensitive subject for the dragon. Still, he was torn between face-palming at his boldness or marveling at it. He settled for a compromise and gave the angel a dry smile.

"You know, I generally don't think it's a good idea to openly suggest such a relationship after we'd just met," he said, "it's not something you just say." He had to wonder if Ascot was used to forming normal bonds with people; he knew very little about the guy, but from what he'd seen he was a bit extreme in his mannerisms.

"Anyway, it was nice to meet you two," he said, turning away and casually waving good-bye, "but I've got things to do. Catch you later." Namely eating and sleeping, and unpacking his things.

Hikari

Kurou and Hikari seemed to be getting along for now, she hadn't met a person who thought the same as her on this school before, so she felt kind of comfortable talking with the boy. It was unlike others who would just look weirdly at her or scold her even like the god forsaken Mary! Hikari place a big grin on her mouth hearing about how great her speech was 2-0 for Hikari.

Hikari placed both hands in her side and puffed her chest up a little as she took in all the comments he could give, she could get used to this kind of feeling more often. Maybe she should actually befriend this boy just for the sake of talking like this.

"Yes, yes, I totally agree. Stuff like this needs some spice added to the bitter taste! They chose the right person at least."

Hikari folded her hands over each other and gave a agreeing nod to her own talking. She was right about this one, they did indeed get the right person to spice up things a little. Last year everybody had already left the auditorium so it was kind of nice to see that people actually enjoyed stuff the school planned for them with her in the lead role off course.

Hikari had begun inspecting his body thoroughly, she really was curious to what he was but it didn't show at all. Well there was this thing that she knew that existed, it was when you got some form of trauma that made your hair white... yea she didn't really understand it either or what it had to do with the fact that he is on this school now but it might fit his backstory.

Kurou looked kinda freaked out by the fact that she was touching him and getting a bit too much into his personal space but he would forgive her for sure, everyone accepted it after all! Hikari held both hands bundled behind her back and turned her body shyly away from Kurou. Hikari acted kind of shy herself at the moment just to tease him a little.

"S-sorry, but I just wanted to k-know. Teehee!"

Hikari jumped up a little and turned her body towards him again with a small twirl. She led out a slight giggle as she spoke in childish manner towards him.

"Where is the fun in that Ku-rou-chan"

Hikari bent over slightly and smiled brightly at him clearly showing she was teasing him a tad. Hikari didn't think he would think of it as much since he was a boy anyways and she knew how most boys were...

Hikari stopped for a moment giving him a rather surprised stare for a moment but continued with her cheerfulness. She twirled on the back of her heel again and came to a stop right in front of him showing him a big smile showing a lot of teeth and her finger holding the corner of her mouth up a little to show it good enough.

"Vampire! I'm a vampire!"

Hikari continue to give him a nice big smile as she let go of the corner of her mouth and just smiled at him. It was so much fun to talk to this person. She kind of hoped he would give himself away now too, although she could forgive him a little for not saying either although she will find out one way or the other later in the story.

“W-Well I am glad you can at least conceded there. Perhaps i had misjudged you Edward. It was not my intent to lecture you, but I still stand by what I had said. But what do I know? I’m just a cute high school student, am I not?”

Perhaps it was a bit of projecting on her part, but she really didn’t believe it was right to verbally attack someone who you hardly have knowledge about. If there was a reason to fight someone, there should be a real reason, not petty “species prejudices”. Hinako trusted those around her until they had proven themselves disloyal, but perhaps that was a more idealistic perception of the world. After all, she had been burned because of this in the past, but she had decided that if she was going to continue to exist, she would have to come to love humans.

“Umm, I think that Lily and Edward are right on the subject of friendships. Though I would not mind being friendly or even friends with anyone, as someone who simply wishes to live their life peacefully in this peaceful time, I cannot say I am too interested in forming a band with people I have just met. I will have to politely decline,” Hinako told Ascot Sky, dismissing his current proclamation. Of course, it was only natural. She had only expected to sulk in the sidelines until she was required, for the most part.

Though her friendliness was genuine, she was an observer at heart. She had lived isolated from most others for a long time, only learning about the world around her through the tales of her followers. That was one of the driving mechanisms for her voluntary application to Pakora Academy. If she was to live a “peaceful and quiet life” like she had so dreamed of, she would need the bare minimum of knowledge to do so. It wasn’t as if she “didn’t want to make friends”, rather it was more akin to something like “I have just met these people and it is kinda strange to suggest such a thing”.

“Either way it was nice meeting you bunch. Perchance we could meet again in the future. Later.”

She would likely leave for the time being, probably looking around campus and getting lost once again in the progress. Perhaps she would be a better individual if she was able to find her way within a building, but for whatever reason she could hardly find where she wanted to be, relying on the kindness of others like Lily to give her direction.

@liferusher
"Vampires are the ones who eat brains, yes?"

Well, as long as she doesn't do that anymore, I guess I can probably overlook it this one time.

Because this was the first time he had to deal with being touched inappropriately, Kurou wondered just how someone would be charged. It was technically an offense against two different people, as they shared a body. Would Hikari be charged twice? A double whammy? This was a very important question to ponder, maybe he should ask Shizu for her opinion on the subject when she woke up. Yeah, that would be the best thing to do, because you never knew when somebody might attack you. Perhaps in her own way, Hikari had inadvertently saved the twins from being unprepared for just such an occasion.

Kurou closed his eyes and expressed his gratitude silently, thinking that Hikari must be an especially nice person to be watching out for complete strangers.

Arigato, Hikari-san.

"As long as you don't make it a habit." Kurou replied, watching the girl's playful body language. Even if he hadn't wrongfully decided that she was doing that to help him prepare for the cold, rough future ahead of him, he might have forgiven her simply by her playful body language. She couldn't have meant much by it.

Rather than stop this expressive body of hers, she continued with increased vigor, bending sideways and flashing her brilliant smile. She really seemed to be somebody who wanted nothing more than to enjoy the moment, and that was exactly what Kurou wanted to a degree. Caring about anything boring was pointless, wasn't it?

"Ha? Well, you don't need to tell me if you don't wanna."

In that case, Kurou would just assume she was some form of demi. Hikari, while fairly enjoyable to be around so far, was nowhere near normal. That wasn't bad or anything. Rather, in Kurou's book, that made it better. Normal was often boring. Boring was bad. Bad was... well, not good. He hoped other demis he would meet would also own refreshing personalities.

Hikari ended up showing him her teeth. He was confused, did she want to show him that she brushed? Yes, good dental hygiene was important to nail down when you were about their age. He was impressed with how white they seemed to be. Although, oddly there was a problem with a few of her teeth. They did not seem as though they belonged on a person. Was it some sort of illness?

Oh wait! No, she wanted to show me those teeth because that was evidence that she was not human!

He had it all figured out. He was absolutely silly to think she was just showing off good hygiene. Since they were talking about the subject, she obviously wanted to show him a sign of what she was! This was it! Now that he had realized it, it was easy to figure out what she was.

"Ah, I see! You must be one of those zombies I've heard about, aren't ya?" he asked.

"Vampire! I'm a vampire!"

Crud. It appeared as though he guessed incorrectly. Well, he spent more time outside than in, and he hadn't seen any other demis in person before so it could not be helped.

"Sorry, I'm not too good with this kind of thing. I have only been around humans and I don't really read books or watch tv, aside from certain action shows." he explained. Well, perhaps he should return the favor.

But how?

It would be rude to try to wake Shizu, and now that he thought about it... he was always a bit embarrassed to explain this to somebody. Perhaps he should let Shizu do it later?

"Huh... I don't think I can show you anything right now, I'm afraid. My situation's a bit... complicated." he confessed.

Asherari "Ash" Dehl

@Rune_Alchemist@Melpaws

The ant girl began to chuckle as the ghost girl began poking Kyoko in the forehead, Ash hid her chuckle behind a chitin covered hand before Kyoko agreed to let the ant woman just try on her pointy hat, the ant smiled feeling happy that the witch was willing to share with someone she just met.

Then the subject of runes came up Ash should've known that a witch would have some experience with runes and possibly alchemy, Ash didn't know if she'd probably know the stuff she was about to show her." Well in the mantle we had two kinds of runes, first are the ones you place down, either as traps or they could be used for other daily uses." She told the witch as she began walking with her." Then there are the runes you put on weapons and armor, like axes, swords, and plate mail, and even sometimes in our chitin to help make our people a little tougher."

When Kyoko called Ash's mixes potions, the ant cocked her eyebrow." I never used that word for my mixes I would usually call them concoctions but not potions." Ash thought aloud after Kyoko mentioned teaching the two of them a spell. The ant girl got a little excited." I wouldn't mind learning some magic Koko. But I think I wanna show you some of my mixes first, but we'll need to be outside with a lot of room, though." Ash began wondering which concoction she'd show the two girls that wouldn't scare them or injure them as they closed in on her luggage.

A simple rucksack standing guard to a thick looking briefcase with several clasps keeping it closed, Ash, crouched down over the case using her hands to feel around the case to make sure it wasn't opened or tampered with or if someone stole anything from the case."Okay guys welcome to my portable lab." She told the two before grabbing the case by the handle."I'll need to take this outside before I can do anything with it."

@Melpaws@Spriggs27

Odette listened to the conversation, walking along behind Ash and Kyoko with great interest despite what her facial features might say. She had read a few books on both magic, as well as runes and alchemy before, but she was by no means any sort of master in any of the fields. Well, if she spent enough time around these two she was certain to learn something good. Maybe even a bit about herself in the process, though she doubted any of them would be able to help directly with that. As they neared Ash's luggage, she heard kyoko mentioned telepathy would be easy for most non-magical beings.

...did that mean she could...?

She hadn't considered the possibility. She could communicate with spirits via telepathy, or at least a form of it. Some spirits weren't exactly the conversationalist sort and sometimes all she could get were vague emotions, feelings, and things like that. Full sentences would still be difficult sometimes, but perhaps she could try. Being able to talk with someone in a way without her bumbling around her words would be nice, regardless. She'd try later, for now she was too busy focused on Ash and her 'portable' lab. Was she about to see some potion brewing or something? Well, Ash had her full attention at least - but maybe she should show off a bit, too? Though, she wasn't certain how'd they react to a bunch of lost souls suddenly showing up out of nowhere....

For now, she remained quiet and followed Ash outside, curious about whatever potions she could be making.

~Ustha-Kth, Bea~

@Blu

"Aha, adorable little cub...thinking of his big sister first." Well, they were both hungry so why not? She didn't really know of anywhere to eat around here. Did they have any restaurants in town? She didn't know, she wasn't from around here. Would she even be allowed off campus? Mother told her not to stray far without good reason, but this seemed like a sufficiently good reason to go looking around town a bit...food was important, after all. Even she, a cosmic being from the outer realms needed sustenance in some form. Before she could suggest anything though, Lily decided to find them.

how entertaining.

"Ah, shy little rabbit," Bea giggled, tilting her head to the side in her usual quizzical fashion. She hadn't revealed to Tsuki she was not, in fact human yet, which meant this was going to be most amusing. Did she assume Tsuki knew? Or did she simply wished to avoid conflict for some reason? Whatever it was, she was already entertained whatever her motive and thoughts were. "You didn't follow me here, did you? So little trust, little rabbit. Little birdies don't like someone not liking their song. It makes them sad." She made sure to emphasize the 'little rabbit' part in both sentences. Seeing the dragon get riled up and angry would be most amusing, no? Well, as long as she didn't do anything stupid. Dragons were no known for their intelligence, after all. At least, she thought so from what she always read about them. "This is Tsukihana. My little brother." Not a lie. Not at all.

"We were just talking about going to eat a little bit...would you care to join us?" Bea offered, a mischievous smirk forming on her lips. Lily would suddenly feel something slimy and damp wrapping around her foot. "The little birdie, cub, and shy little rabbit could dine together, it'd be enough to make even the little food stealing kittens jealous~"

Little rabbit? I'll show you who's the little rabbit! was what Lily was thinking when Bea teased her with her rabbit comparisons. Outside, however, she tried to keep her cool, though she couldn't help to glare at her while her right hand clenched.

Bea answered that the boy was his little brother, Tsuki. Did it mean that he was another Great One? If the eldritch girl wasn't pulling her leg, then she didn't like it. Not one bit. One Great One was already bad enough, and now they had two?

Bea then offered her to join them for they were going to eat. Lily noticed the mischievous smirk on her face. Clearly, this invitation was a trap of some--

"Eeeeeek!"

Lily couldn't help letting out a high-pitched shriek as she jumped away after she felt some slimy and damp thing suddenly wrapping around her feet. She looked down and saw that they were tentacles. Smily, gooey, wriggling tentacles. She looked back at Bea and saw her mischiveous smile had grown even wider.

"You... you dare!"

Lily couldn't keep her cool anymore. No, not after this... humiliation and disrespect she had received. It was a sneaky, dishonorable, and underhanded move, and Lily detested that. But she detested even more the fact that she just squealed like a scared little schoolgirl right in front of her. She thought a proud dragon like her would never do such a thing. And yet she did.

"That's it, I'm going to teach you why you should respect a dragon!"

Lily called upon her dragon wings and tails, turning into her half-dragon form in an instant. Her wings, purple in color, ripped through her newly purchased school uniform. She didn't care however. Not in the slightest. Her tail, a darker purple than the wings, came out from her short skirt. Lily was too much in a rage to notice that it was lifting her skirt, showing off her purple panties to whoever was behind her. Lucky for her, nobody was there.

Lily then leaped towards Bea with an incredible speed, intending to catch her off-guard. If she could land a punch to that smug face of hers, then her rage would be satiated. She was a merciful dragon after all. Any other dragon would bite and chew at the girl until her corpse became unrecognizable.

Kyoko Sakura

Walking alongside the other two women, Kyoko felt like they were both good people. Or beings, or whatever you would classify them as. They both seemed like they could easily become friends with Kyoko, she felt like she was already familiar enough with Odette to almost call her a friend. The witch did not expect this at all, she was used to just sort of being there and not making friends quickly. This time however it went way faster than initially thought.

Back on the topic though the antgirl was talking about her mixtures, how she didn´t call them "Potions" and whatnot. Way more interesting for kyoko however, were how they used runes. They seemed to use them as a catalyst for spells too, or rather a way to store them. However while that did raise a few questions, using them as a way to enhance their weapons and tools was pretty intersting. Witches didn´t use it for that, mainly because they didn´t use tools or meele weapons to begin with.
"We use runes to store our more complicated spells mostly. We never considered using it for meele weapons or tools and such, simply because we do not use tools or those kind of weapons!"
She claimed while they reached their luggage. After a bit of searching, Kyoko found hers too.
Without saying a word, the luggage suddenly started to levitate above te ground, almost the same height as her head.

As a witch, she would prefer to move it around like this, instead of pulling it around. It was very simple magic and did not even require any form of spell to perform in such a simple state. While she was returning with the luggage next to her head, which was in fact quite a huge bag, she looked at the locked case which the ant had next to her.
"That is your equipment? You can sure show me whatever you like later, though for now I´d like to go to our rooms first. Store our ... or my... bag there. Then we can do it I assume."
Kyoko said while crossing her arms in front of her body. Levitating the bag through magic really did not seem like any effort to Kyoko.

☾ Tsukihana

Before Tsuki and Bea could decide on their next destination, a familiar figure appears and greets Bea. It's one of the girls from the earlier group of students. With the curls in her hair and her pale skin, she looks like one of those porcelain dolls that remain dust-free on a collector's shelf. She's a pretty one, no doubt. A petite girl like her seems like the shy and reserved kind but... She questions Bea about Tsuki, asking her to introduce him and wondering what a child could be doing at a place like this. The latter part has Tsuki on guard. Tsuki looks quietly to his Big Sis and then the doll of a girl. Bea calls her a "shy little rabbit" in her usual manner—something the other girl doesn't seem too fond of from the look on her face.

"I think we're about to see a fight." The smiling second proclaims.

"Tch... How bothersome." The frowning first replies.

Tsuki keeps quiet the whole time and allows his Big Sis to do the talking. She introduces Tsuki as her little brother: a gesture that would normally have Tsuki fawning over Bea but, in this moment, it doesn't seem appropriate. The air is ripe with animosity, at least coming from the side opposite Tsuki and Bea. The latter then invites the girl to come join them for a meal. The girl's reply... is to shriek? Tsuki is caught off guard by her sudden scream. He didn't notice the tentacles that had writhed around the girl's feet just mere moments ago. "Are you okay?" Tsuki tries to ask the girl but she seems too focused on Big Sis. And she seems infuriated for reasons unknown to him.

"You... you dare!"

"Here it comes."

The girl then shouts at Bea that she'll "teach" her to respect a dragon. Whatever that entails... The next thing Tsuki sees is the girl growing a pair of draconic wings and a tail. She also grew sharpened nails but who'd notice that when the girl literally sprouted wings and a tail right in front of them. Tsuki's eyes widened at the sight of her. "Whooooaaaa... That's so cool!" He exclaims, not being able to help himself after seeing that transformation. Is it cool? Because now she's charging full speed at Bea, ready to pay her back for her incessant teasing.

"I've gotta do something!"

"Don't be a hero, you idiot!"

But Tsuki elects not to listen and runs in front of his Big Sis. He outstretches his arms in a futile display of protection. Oh kid... Please, stop it! I don't want anyone getting hurt!" Tsuki shouts out instinctively. That's it, kid! Stop the charging dragon lady with kind words!

Kurou said not to get so close as just now from here on out, he probably didn't like physical contact so much as her. Hikari was quiet for a moment to listen to him, she found herself staring at him as if she liked to listen to the sound of his voice but didn't care what he was saying, the words flew right past her. Hikari replied back to him in cheerful manner but didn't seem to care as much by giving him a over the top yes.

"Haaaaaiiii."

Next thing up was for Kurou to ask her what sort of demi-human she was. Hikari had made her dance and showed him her teeth. He looked rather confused and weirded out for a moment but he started to use his brains eventually. She could slowly feel that he was progressing with trying to think, it was almost like he dropped his fist into his other hand almost as if he finally figured out what she was.

Hikari silently stared at him, what had become of humans these days. Were humans always like this? Her lifeless eyes gazed at him unspeaking, not knowing anything to say to this situation. She was seriously thinking he might have been retarded after he tried guessing and ended up using a whole different kind of demi-human. Up till now everyone had guessed correctly that she was a vampire since they knew the stories from when they were children. This guy probably lived in a cave somewhere, deep down in the ocean, in another universe. Or in another universe on the bottom of a cave in the middle of the ocean, yes that was probably it. Somewhere were mankind has never been before.

"No... no... I'm clearly a vampire..."

She told him in an emotionless voice, she really thought he had no brain right now. The boy told her short after that he wasn't good at this sort of thing and that he hadn't really heard about vampires before, Hikari gave him a look of unbelief but shook her head trying to negate the thought of him being brain dead.

"Ah! Don't be sorry I guess there are people who don't know about vampires... Although my 5 year old nephew saw them in a child book... and he is only 5 and knows about them... 5..."

Hikari slowly looked down as she went on with talking about her nephew. She was back to the trance of unbelief again which she just tried to shurg off. She just couldn't believe it. Hikari glanced back at the boy again looking kind of aggravated by the fact that he didn't know, perhaps she took it a little bit over the top though. Hikari gave a short sigh but cheered up again pumping up her chest as she spoke.

"Fine! I'll explain!"

Hikari swiftly walked over to a nearby flag hanging from the wall with the school logo branded onto it. She pulled it from the wall with little strength and threw the inner side around her back. It kind of looked like the black cape vampires always wore. She got back over to Kurou and hid her mouth and nose behind her arm engulfed by her new cape. She suspiciously looked from left to right as she started talking.

"Creatures of the night, we catch our prey by careful observation and patience and strike at the right time!"

Hikari stared at Kurou threw her hands in the air letting go off the cape behind her. Hikari let out a playful yell to try and surprise him like the strike she was talking about. She got closer to him and circled her hands around him capturing him in a hug whilst standing on the tips of her toes. She let go of him a little so that she could properly look him in the face.

"Vampires have a keen sense of smell and eyes that can look through the dark, they also have very sharp teeth that can be used to suck the blood of the prey!"

Hikari hugged herself close to him again and got herself just a little higher to get to his neck. Kurou felt two sharp points pushing onto the side of his neck. Hikari let out a playful chuckle and stepped backwards, she waited for a moment to see his reaction and poked her hand up in front of her. She held it like a peace sign and got her hand closer to his neck where she poked him with two of her nails to show him what she had done.

"Well! This should explain as much as you need to know! Keep it engraved in that thing of yours."

The boy kindly replied to her, seeming not so bothered by her presence. Reina gave him a kind smile in return and shyly turned her eyes to her drink to quietly mess with the straw in her drink. A bit of a blush had come on her face when she thought about the fact that she had engaged in a conversation with an actual boy. Apart from her previous school she didn't talk to boys all that often, before middle school she was on an all female school and that wasn't really helping her with conversations with the other gender. The only boy she had spoken too much was not even human after all. This was possibly her first conversation with a human boy ever.

Reina looked back up at him as he called out his name towards her. She looked a bit speechless as she thought on how to react and ended up with another kind smile, she had to be a bit more confident or this boy might think she is just a shy boring bunch.

"It is nice to meet you too za-"

Zach had poked out his hand at her at which she quietly looked, her arms had instinctively pulled back floating repulsively in front of her upper body. She took a moment to process the hand in front of her and swiftly poked out her hand to Zach for a handshake. She dropped her other hand back down to drink holding position and happily smiled as she shook his hand. Shortly after she had let go of his hand with her arm dropping by her side again.

"The bus looked a little crowded to me so I preferred to walk. Didn't think it would take so much stamina to climb a hill."

Reina kind of became quiet after that, she didn't really have anything to talk about so she had to think stuff up but that didn't go as quickly as anticipated. Short after Reina looked a little brighter obviously knowing something to talk about.

"How did you wind up here. It must have taken some effort to get into a school like this."

Zac couldn't help but smile brightly at the girl's shyness. She was kind of awkward, and he thought it was adorable. He too was never that outgoing, thus could relate slightly with the girl's awkwardness. He shook her hand firm yet gentle grip, smiling down at her. He too was quite shy, he was simply good at hiding it. Although a perceptive person would notice his hidden nervousness. He crossed one arm over his torso, holding onto his other arm which hung loosely at his side, absently playing with the hem of his jean's pocket.

"Uhh... Ya'know, I'm not really sure." He answered honestly with a slight shrug.
"I didn't really expect to be accepted, like, at all... I'm relieved, of course, because... Reasons... Just surprised, is all." For a moment, while his spoke, his shyness shone through his cool, calm demeanor, though he quickly hid again with a smile.
"What about you?" He asked, eager to get the attention off of himself. He would much rather ask questions and listen to the stories of others than talk about himself, not wanting to accidentally start spilling his whole life story, which he had done on occasion without meaning to.

Taura Minos

@HylianRose @TheWindel

With a mighty slurp, Taura dragged the remainder of the noodles bowl into her mouth, before ditching the disposable utensils on the nearest trash can. "Yep, that was a good way to begin a day. Now, what should I— Yo, you there! I heard that, y'know?" As the bull girl patted her clothes, thinking out loud, while getting herself ready to go to her new lodgings, she heard a loud voice commenting about her and couldn't avoid turning to see its source. To her surprise it was nothing of what she expected, but in fact a talking gun, which looked like it was owned by a seriously unhealthy looking guy, who was doing those remarks. When did those things even became a thing, anyway?

"Hey, what's up you?" Taura said as she approached the gun's owner, who seemed desperate to silence his metal partner. "You look so pale it's almost like you are dead", she added before extending her hand forth — and a tad upwards. "I'm Taura, how about you and your two friends over there?"

"All right," Ascot replied as his attempt to form a Nakama was rejected, just as Lily and Edward left. He felt a sense of foreboding as the former left to pursue Bea, but knew instinctively that he shouldn't interfere. Instead, he would walk over to the refreshments bar to find food...only to find someone gorging on the treats already. A certain someone who Ascot knew from legends.

"Taura!" he spoke the name out loud. This was the legendary Bull of Heaven, the constellation Tauros! The servant of Ishtar and the Sumerian 'Gods' whom his father, Jehoel, had fought long ago in years long past. That feud was long buried, by the way, along with the metaphorical hatchet. Drawing out his notebook and ballpen, Ascot walked over to the young bull-woman, then said:

"Hello, Miss? Can I have your autograph?" Ascot's face was earnest; and yes, he didn't notice the undead guy and other people trying to talk to Taura.

Markus and Drasil
~Location: Pakora Academy~

“You heard? Well good! Means I don’t have to repeat myself over your freaking huge horns Horny!” the gun continued to spout. It was to its great pleasure that the girl with the melons graced both itself and its owner with her divine presence, a radiance that seemed to warm even the undead’s bones. Or maybe that was just something else. “Whoah, whoah, you’re even bigger up close, badaboooom!”

Markus didn’t seem to share his weapon’s enthusiasm and instead met Taura with the same neutral gaze he gave everyone. She seemed to, like many, excel in the art of observation and obvious. Knowing his weapon would probably butt in before him, the undead just nodded to answer her question in the affirmative. “And you are?”

Yet to his surprise, someone who wasn’t his toting weapon answered before him. Another student from what he could tell, and a male at that. Markus stepped to the side as the newbie hounded the bull girl like a raging member of the respectable press, firing off an offer for an autograph before revealing the girl’s name to everyone in the area.

“Taura? Oh wow! Yeah, that’s a bull name. Not full of bullshit if you get what I mean? Badabooom!” the gun continued to say, physically rattling now in Markus’ holster. The undead opened his mouth to try and get a word in edgewise but even then, he would be interrupted by yet another third party. Ascot would find notebook and pen subsequently ripped out of his hands; not by any physical force, but by a powerful gust of wind.

As if beckoned by a call, the something was stomping right towards the little group before an arm clenched Taura’s shoulder hard. Said arm belonged to a very grumpy looking girl. She glared at everyone present but especially at Taura and Ascot. “And what do you think you’re doing?” she asked to the both of them, voice already dipping into a hiss like a lashing gust of wind.
