C.J. nodded and shook Violet's hand as she returned the introduction. "Nice to meet you, Violet. I'm C.J. and you've already met my Zulu." She held up the arm that wasn't extended to Violet and shook it enough that Zulu's serpentine head popped out from below her wrist. His scaly body was still a rosy color, and he quickly tucked himself back inside the girl's sleeve.

C.J. turned as Mike's Pokéball bounced off the Pinsir and erupted in a red glow. Both girls' knuckles went white at their sides as it shook violently on the ground. A sigh of relief from C.J. and an encouraging shout from Violet confirmed Mike had captured the bug bully. Richard would be furious, and it seemed Lance had already readied an attack against the martial artist's Caterpie. C.J. followed Violet carefully across the bridge at her invitation, keeping her distance at the back of the battling group. Zulu dropped to her ankles and curled his tail protectively inside the lip of her boot.

Lance and Violet had already taken to battling Richard's Pokémon, but C.J. stood at attention if the fight got dirty. Mike still seemed in shock over his big catch, but she waved feebly in his direction as Violet's Eevee attempted to lower Richard's Ekans' accuracy with a sand attack.

Christine taked the ball into her arms, smilling lightly "I got it, I have a Squirtle now" she said exited, reaching the pokeball into the sunligh sky. She was smilling as she looked it, taking it to her bag. She turned to Eevee "Hmm, we could go now..." she said glancing at the forest which opened ahead of them "Who knows what we will found there" she said, taking Eeve at her shoulders, when the little brown fox jumped on.

Two of them entered the forest of dreams. She was rather sure that few of thoise trainers she was seen to fighting against that Pinsir was going this way too, maybe she will walk on any of them and get her first battle. Thought she really didn't want to get a fight with that Pinsir.

Caterpie already exhausted was hit hard by the tackle fainting immediately. Richard's Ekans tired from it's first fight barely saw eevee as it blinded it hissing sadly as it flailed about disoriented. Richard was now in a horrible situation his back to the river with a blind ekans between him and a plung. Christine continued forward through the brush. The trees were thick, but she could hear an odd singing coming from a nearby clearing. Inside was a small group of weedles that turned at the intruder the largest firing a poison sting at eevee without warning charging her. The toher weedles hurried away scattering before Christine. @Pink Madness

Christine walked deeper to the forest, nervously she looked around the woods. Hearing a sing coming she stopped galncing up to the sky, which was somehow showing up between the tight trees. Eevee gived upnormal voice behing her so she turned to see what was going on, the little fox was fixated By poison sting, made By group of weedles "Let her go" she yelled at them and beginned to cut the string away from her.

Taking the little pokemon into her arms she beginned to run away to the bug-pokemons. She really didn't like bug pokemons, but off course there was a one bug type she could even catch if meeted, Scyther. Thought Scyther was not a easy catch and rarely even seen.

She run some time before she was sure that the weedles was gone, she stopped glancing at her Eevee "Eve you okey?" she asked to the little pokemon. Eevee seemed to be fine, but it's fur was still under the poison sting.

Richard found himself surrounded. He had his back to a pointed wall, and enemies all around. The pinsar was caught, and now the others were out for metaphorical blood. He knew if he kept fighting, it'd only end up with his friend being mauled by the numerous other pokemon around. He saw no way to win, and despite him thinking he had the high ground in a moral sense, all he had was pain coming on the battlefield. Taking a deep breath, Richard reached down, and picked up his Ekans, gently working the sand out from around his friend's eyes. What he said next would harm his pride, and maybe mark him as a coward, but he wouldn't let his friend suffer for his ideals.
"Fine. You all win. This battle was over before I even stepped into it." Richard grumbles, carrying his friend away. "Although, don't expect me to pay either of you for this. Punks that like you all won't get a single zeni from me." Richard growls, walking across the bridge again. He was heading back towards town, from the look of thing. He seemed angry, and a tad upset, as he stomped off.

Violet breathed a sigh of relief as the battle finished, even if Richard had left in a sulk. She noticed her Eevee shudder as she levelled again, and moved to pick her beloved pet with the shredded bow up.

"Good work guys" she smiled at her new friends "shall we head back to the village or go further in? I heard a Pikachu, but I think our pokemon need a rest, and Eevee here wants a new bow." Eevee mewled in agreement.

C.J. felt a pang of relief as Richard scooped up his Ekans and stormed off towards the village. She knew the burly man had meant well and made note to check in on him and his Pokémon before the day was over. Zulu slithered up his trainer's ankle, wrapping securely just below her knee, as she strode towards Violet and the others. C.J. pondered the other girl's questions, turning her head towards both the forest and the village multiple times. She rested her hand against the Pokéball attached to her leather belt as she answered, "I'd like to see if my new Poliwag can get in one good battle before dark. Zulu's also well rested and might need to burn of some energy before we call it a day."

C.J. smiled brightly as she added, "Anyone is welcome to join us!" With that sentiment, she nodded to each trainer as she walked slowly away towards the forest's edge. Faint light was shining from the vibrant sky above, casting playful shadows on the grass below. Zulu constricted, and C.J. reached down to pat him assuredly. There was still plenty of time before dark, and after watching the ferocious Pinsir battle she knew her team needed experience to win one of those ribbon cases. Her feet lingered at the edge of the foliage wall; her mind vaguely wondering if anyone would follow in her footsteps. She closed her eyes, grinned, and took a deep breath as she quietly crossed the threshold.

Lance folded his arms "Bad move to battle us with injured Pokémon, but that won't be the last I will be seeing of him.", Eevee came running back making him crack a smile and breaking his serious persona. "Excellent battling E, just like how we practiced." Lance said rubbing his Eevees hand and scratching behind the pokemons spiky ears. As he heard the others offers he waved it off, "Maybe another time I will join you guy, it's nothing personal" Lance said signaling Eevee that it was time to go. Lance left through the opening exiting the area. Though they succeeded in winning both battles in near perfect condition, there is still much more to learn if he wants to be a legend. E looked back at violets Eevee feeling bad about her bow, he turned back around and caught up to Lance. New acquaintances and possibly new rivals.

Christine beginned to take the poison sting away for the Eevees fur, luckily for her and Eevee this sting wasen't poisonnous even thoug it was called a poison sting. Thought touching it By her free hands, little burned her "Now you're free" she said to her little pokemon. Eevee jumped down at her arms and shaked her pelt, giving small smile when noticied that she was all free now.

Standing up she was ready to continued her exploring the forest, but frozed when noticed a shadow standing near the trees and was watching them. She tryed to look what it could be, realising that the shadow belonged to a human "You...it's very rude to stalk someone like that" she yelled at the person standing still at the shadows. Eevee standed next to her, growling lightly.

For a moment of silent the person walked out and showed to her. It's seemed to be a boy at her age, maybe older. the boy was holding a pokeball in his arms, which maked it pretty clear that he was a trainer as well.

The townsfolk were in the middle of there day most working in the fields around the town. The sunset was high as a few appeared to be setting up the pavilion for the contest. Richard was easily able to find the town's pokemon center and was leaving when Violet passed him heading in to town. A smiling woman offered Violet a rainbow ribbon warmly when she noticed Violet's eevee with a ruined one. She smiles happily waving to Lance close behind her worried that Chris hasn't gotten home. @supertinyking@medalliah@pkken

A large smirk broke the gruff boy's face "Oh no worries, but I'll need your squirtle. We can do this the easy of hard way. I prefer the hard way." He smirked "I choose you Mankey." The large monkey like pokemon beat its chest aggressively glaring at her. The Mankey was to fast for Christine to run and the boy was alert almost hoping she'd turn her back to him. The boy was a troublemaker from the next town over. @Pink Madness

C.J. made it a few paces before the gloom of the darker interior hit her. The sunset was coming and it was dark under the trees. A buzzing could be hear as quite a few weedles and caterpie started heading back to there respective homes. The view of the Caterpie like a green river across the forest floor. The weedle seemed to be heading downhill towards there cave. A few about ready to evolve needing the cool dark for there transformation. In a nearby area she could hear the sound of the Mankey yelling at Christine @jagajac

Christine little frightened at the boys suddent words to get her Squirtle. She begin to wonder how he even knowed that she was a squirtle was she being stalked "Excume me, you will have nothing for me, dear" she said in angry tune. He seemed to be a kind of guy she hated the most and it maked her more streight to kick his noble butt.

Thought the monkey seemed pretty strong and as a fighting type both of her pokemons will have a hard times to defeat that, but she didn't want to turn back either. So didn't her Eevee, Eve poked her leg ready to beat this mankey. With a small grim Christine ordered the Eevee to the battle field "Now, Eve don't be scared, use tackle" she said to her, glancing at the boy and his mankey.

The boy smiled wide his Mankey taking the blow being thrown back a few inches before starting a barrage of fury swipes at the Eevee trying to rely on its speed. The Mankey's long fingernails scratching at eevee trying to force it to retreat as Mankey snickered whipping out a low kick to try to underfoot it the Eevee dodging @Pink Madness

Christine ordered her eevee to tackle more toward the monkey "Don't let it touch you, tackle it and Dodge as much you can" she said to her little pokemon. Lucky to her Eevee was faster than the mankey, but if she get a hit, it could be effective. Of course she still did have her Squirtle to win the battle, if eevee lose. She was little scared to use squirtle against this kind of opponent, excpecially when the water pokemon was little scared toward new thinks.
