Things are crazy here in the Texas Panhandle. There are massive fires everywhere and over 100,000 acres have burned entirely. My internet connection has been spotty but I'll try to be around as much as possible.

@Xandrya

I intentionally spoiled the ending for myself before going to see but the ending still hit me like a freight train. It was so hard to see it.

I don't read comics because I am sick of characters dying but later on they decided on man we screwed up let's make it a Skrull that died instead and have the original come back from Skrull prison or just plain old let's cure death.

In comics death has absolutely no meaning whatsoever. Why should I care if my favorite character was murdered he/she will be back eventually, and within two issues of the return everything will be back to like it never happened.

If a character dies they should remain dead period. Either replace with someone new with the same code name or new code name.

Logan is incredible.

Btw, here in the Texas Panhandle the amount of land that burnt to a crisp in the fires this week makes up an area larger than the state of Maryland... Thousands of cattle have died. There have been multiple lives lost. So many people have lost their livelihoods. It's a sad time here.

@ShieldsOfWar

I'm sorry to hear that. I have a friend living in Texas, and I was in San Antonio to go to school for the Navy so that's the closest I've been.

What exactly started the fires?

Last I checked Texas has a shit ton of water. They need to invest in desalination.

@Burning Kitty They need to do something because where I'm from we are so short on water that we can only water our yards certain days and stuff like that.

Watering a yard is the most pointless waste of water.

@Burning Kitty Not when you live in a place where your grass will literally die if you don't.

Grass has to be mowed, helping it grow ensuring you have to mow it, that is the act of a masochist.

@Burning Kitty Now this is sound logic and seeing as mowing is literally my least favorite thing in the world i agree with you. If it was up to me I wouldn't have grass in my yard at all. I wish that I could afford turf or something like that.

@ShieldsOfWarDo you live in the city or could you get some sort of grass eating animal, even as a pet? (ex: rabbits)

You are literally the first person to agree with me on that.

I would pave the whole yard if the jack'hole politicians would let me.

There is no value in grass.

I like mowing the lawn lol. Any excuse to go outside when there's absolutely nothing worth leaving the house for within two miles of you.

@TheUnknowable I live in a town of 2000 people but yeah i technically could get some goats or something but we rent and our landlords wouldn't let us even if we had the means to do that.

@Silver Carrot I love being outside but for some reason mowing is the bane of my existence. I always get itchy and break out from the grass and stuff.
