"It'll take time. Luckily, I don't think that this operation will require anesthesia. On the downside. You will be quite bored." And he got to work, playing with ideas in his mind on how to flush the limiter out safely. Whatever it truly was would be a good thing for both he and Forge to study as some point.
Emma and Booker nodded to the request about keeping her powers a secret for now. However, they did need to think of a replacement power so that people would be less inclined to ask her about it.
"As for the team, you'll be meeting them later today, after school hours." Booker began to explain to Bonny. "The team is still new. Everyone's still shaping up, so don't worry about being behind or anything." He wanted to try and ease her worries, at least for a little. "You'll be called when we're ready to train. Any other questions?"
"As good as I can be, I guess. Doc Clement was saying something about his biotic healing...? I can't remember. Anywho, I jumped ship so that he could put more focus onto Chrys. I can still walk, talk, and fight, there's no reason to hang over me when there are people with more serious injuries." He took a look back down the hallway that led to the medical bay. Shawn wouldn't have taken the day to stay in bed anyways. There were things to do like school and training. He probably needed to look over his armor again. Maybe this time he's let Forge play around with it, but there were places that Shanw needed to be.
Shawn began with a step, heading further down the hallway so he could get back to his room to grab his books and things. A quick glance at the clock made him sigh in relief. The school's schedule was pretty flexible. He didn't have anything for first period. Most didn't. As much as he loved training, first period classes were more advanced, dedicated to fine tuning already razor sharp skills like infiltration or espionage. Normally Shawn used this period for a light workout.
"So, where's your second class?" He asked Heidi, not exactly remembering where she went next. He had Philosophy with Dr. McCoy, then Mathematics, Science, P.E., Lunch, American History, Language, then another free period at the library to finish his school day off.
Logan didn't say or do anything, but it was somewhat refreshing to see that someone didn't know who he was. He was glad that he wasn't the only one like that sometimes. "Bub," He said again. "Pal, amigo." He said it in that slightly threatening way that action movie stars would spout oneliners. "Uh... Dude." He didn't really like saying it, but that was some of this shit kids said, she'd probably get that.
"Too hot to touch the important parts, you'll burn your fingers off. Just a few things here and there I need to touch up on." Logan wasn't one for company. It was his half-assed way of trying to get her to shoo off. "And no, I don't teach. They say I've been around a long time, but I don't remember most of it." He extended a single claw to dig into the heart of the engine, the knife-like extremity scraping against something he couldn't see. He retracted the claw and set down a wrench. He took a good look at it, then at a socket. He had the wrong size.
"Yeah, go get me the socket one size up from this. Make yourself useful while you're here." He tossed her the little socket piece from the wrench and went to examine the other side of the motorcycle.
"Tatiana." Sage said rather suddenly, quickly moving out of her lesson to look at Tatiana. Even if Dhampir was her codename, Sage didn't enjoy using it. It felt rather racist in some way, addressing someone by their race. "You are now a a wealthy businesswoman on an unwanted trip to Genosha. You wish to free as many mutants as you can by tricking Sir Bane Marshall into a trade in your favor." Sage motioned to Kurt, who bowed with a smile to Tatiana. He wore almost the exact same outfit as the day before, as if his wardrobe was filled with eight or nine sets to wear when relaxing or teaching.
