I think you're all forgetting a certain someone that isn't exactly a teacher neither a student...

I've been thinking about brackets for an inevitable tournament. Obviously we'd have to decide who wins and loses which matches in advance otherwise everybody would want to win. I could see Mina getting serious, fighting dirty, and really getting antagonistic.

She beats Mushashi in the first round. Makes sense. He's comic relief, his power's sensitive sight and she can blind people with her lightcasting, and beating him up would REALLY get Mina some boos, especially if she properly hurts him during the fight. Nothing broken, she's not evil, but still a trip to the nurse's office. It wouldn't be a squash, though. He'd get some cool moves in.

Second round would be Ryuuto. They're on good terms, and her ruthlessly beating someone she's on good terms with would cement her as a major 'antagonist' of the tournament. This would be a very close match that she'd have to win by playing really dirty. Also, if she hasn't already at this point, this is where she manifests her laser ability and can cut through Ryuuto's strings with it (as well as burn him)

Then she'd lose to a girl character. One of the good, cheerful, friendly ones who are fighting serious now because Mina needs to be stopped, like Hana, Natsuki or Chiaki. That would tell a good story, I think.

Well spoilers, I actually DO have a tournament arc planned (wow a tournament arc in a shounen anime RP? What a spoiler!), it was gonna be one of the exams. A lot of the matchups were gonna be chosen based on the characters' relationships (characters that are rivals, characters that are friends, etc). I dunno if we have to choose how the ENTIRE tournament goes, I feel like all we'd need to do is just choose the winner in advance for each match individually (and probably do a lot of colab posts). Otherwise, I imagine the tournament would be really boring cause we know pretty much exactly what's gonna happen

Yeah, I meant the winners. Knowing the entire match should be between the two people. Also every match should be a collab, one post per match, otherwise we could spent three months plus on the tournament.

BTW, while we're on the subject, I have two exams planned and I'm not sure which one I'd rather do first, so I figured I'd ask everyone here for which they'd prefer. I guess this is kinda spoilers but eh, I don't think that's a big deal really

One of the exams are gonna be the tournament (obviously). Not much to say about this one, it's pretty self explanatory. The tournament is gonna be based a lot on Naruto's chuunin exams tournament and My Hero Academia's Sports Festival tournament

The other one is a sort of hunger games survival challenge type of thing. If you've seen Hunter X Hunter's Zevil Island arc or Naruto's Forest of Death arc, this will pretty much be a complete ripoff of both of them. Basically, all the students will be put into the wilderness and have to survive for a certain number of days, and are also all given items that they all need to collect from each other in order to win

So, which one do you guys think should be done first?
