@TheWindel
Ah, the personality section said to keep it brief, so I tried to make it as short as possible. I'll be happy to extend it.

@KoL
Ooooh, sounds like fun. Looking forward to that. Although I'll be happy to drop the stone if it's deemed to be too powerful, or nerf it to work only within the Nexus.

As for Endian it's still up in the air if she survived Grafdakka's self-destruct. I'll leave her fate up to the GM's to decide, since it was mainly reliant on Eos's buffs just for the chance of this. It being a suicide attack.

We've decided to kill Endian.

M'kay. Maybe Fran might be nearby to find her fellows fighting in the machina factory once they start making some more noise.

@KoL How many battles did the Machina lose because they militarily lost?

Elicitor, the Queen's Treasure: They were the last forces standing, but Victoire stole the treasure.
Ruthuria: They had the best remaining forces, but Dora kited them while capping objectives.
Alt Signia: They won.
Hohenheim: Literally nothing anyone did mattered because the Angels drew all the cards right.
Arcadia: They were about to win because heaven and hell were on the brink of defeat, and then Victoire's roses killed everyone.
Rescue Mission: Artoria rescued the people before this even became a battle.
KC-00032: Looks like they're going to win, unless floodtalon has a cool plan.

None of these battles were lost because the Machina lacked fighting power. They've only lost because of Bad Luck (Hoho), Lack of Teleport Blockers (Elicitor), getting outmaneuvered by a person with a half-broken airship (Ruthuria), and Victoire (Elicitor, Arcadia).

@The 42nd Geckothats still 1/7 (maybe 2/7 if they win this battle) that the Machina lost. I don't think how they lost matters so much as the fact they consistently do.

@Lucius Cypher The battle that Artoria prevented from happening doesn't really count. And unless floodtalon pulls of some serious tactical genius, the Machina have this one.

Which puts the record at 2/6. Which is 1/3. ONE of the THREE factions, will have a 1/3 win rate. How unfair.

The Angels will have a 1/3 win rate, but in the narrative, one of those wins was completely reversed by the events of Alt Signia.

The Demons will have a 1/3 win rate, but in the narrative, one of those wins was completely reversed by Hibiki reclaiming Bastion at Ruthuria. And one of those wins (Arcadia) was completely fucking pointless.

So, let's talk about actual objectives that had Meaning:
Bastion was the focus of the first battle.
Ruthuria Treasure was the focus of Ruthuria, Alt Signia, and KC-00032
Hoho favors was the focus of her battle.
Arcadia was a territorial hissyfit.

Which puts the win rate at:
Machina 2/3
Angels 1/3

Notice though, that I'm not asking for a demon buff. We've got plenty of power. We're just idiots.

@The 42nd Gecko

Well it may be a fairly even split now, you still have to remember the score board goes something more along the lines of this:

Demons
Angels
Machina
Angels
Demons
Demons (still counts as a victory for the demons, more so if they did so flawlessly there couldn't have been a fight)
Still to be determined.

Not to mention the object for KC-00033 wasn't just repel the invading force, but also to minimize damage. Ceil alone caused a hefty bunch of external damage outside of KC with her hurricane, not to mention flooding the streets with her Levaitian attack. Plus Ceil managed to steal a powerful prototype mech suit that the Machina had been using their own resources to make. While she only has one suit, the three suits are useless if they aren't all together.

Sure, the demons and angels may have not completely fulfilled their objective of destroying everything, but it's still up in the air if the Machina won the tactical victory too.

@Lucius Cypher All that Artoria's victory did was rescue some demonic characters. We didn't consider it a victory for the Angels when Diana killed herself so that she went back to Heaven.

And KoL already confirmed that if the Demons back out now, the Machina win because of mystery reasons. (Me thinking the mystery reason being Ciel being the only non-machina character left on the board at that point.)

Also, Artoria stole one of three prototypes. Unless for some idiotic reason Eos forgot to make backups or forgot how she made the prototype, she can just make another one. Artoria can't because it's made out of materials she doesn't have with technology and infrastructure she doesn't have.

~~

Well, I really still don't think the Machina are hurting. But I've said my piece in this post and the ones above. I think I should let it rest.

I mean... what else can the demons do at this point? Pretty much they are the last three demons standing. The chances of overrunning the base are small, again, unless Henry decides to pull out a big wang of fuck-all and somehow pull through (that was a joke and not an insult). If Gregorvic and possibly other demons, like maybe @Awesomoman64's (Speaking of him, where the hell is he?) characters somehow would come on scene, then there's a much better chance. The Angels simply wanted to test the Machina and sent Taura to go battle, only to come face to face with an equally powerful Unit-T. THey weren't there to conquerer but simply to test their might and prowess. Not sure how long that battle will last, but I suppose it'll be reasonably short (?).

@Lmpkio Fran's there too, but we still don't have a counter to Eos. A quick check shows that I've had Artoria dump her full power into four separate attacks now. While her regeneration can restore her energy, another one or two of those, which still isn't enough to even phase or distract Eos, and her heart will literally explode from the abuse. Henrietta's been using her silver eyes all over the place. Mephila's running off her pain inhibitors...

As I said, we'd need a hell of a plan.

Mystery reasons? If the Demons leave, they will have failed the objective of destroying the base. That, and what you said.

Ah right, there's Fran as well. I guess the plan may simply be (maybe):

1). Core Buster: If the foundry somehow has a core, then perhaps they should make a mad dash down there, blow it up somehow, and get out. Probably easier said than done.

Or 2). Total Mayhem: Cause as much damage to the foundry and then get the hell out.

Honestly, I have no idea what to do in this instance.

Equally powerful is simply being a bit too generous I suppose... aaaaand I thought the whole testing thing was a thing?

Welp, lets see what comes up in a few minutes or so...

1. Eos is the core. Bust her and the facility will be nonfunctional for however long it takes her to respawn. Also, the Machina as a country will be nonfunctional, and should largely cease to be as a faction. So, methinks that one isn't happening.

2. Artoria tried that like, 3-4 times and got told "Nope. It too big for you."

@TheWindel Mystery reasons was me paraphrasing what KoL said. I was thinking fall back and regroup, but KoL said the Machina would insta-win if the demons left the building.

But regardless, it's all moot if Eos' attack kills us all anyay.

In case this wasn't apparent. To the remaining Demon players, this has now become a Boss fight.

Edit: Assuming you have a plan.

Took me long enough, but there is my post. I hope it's enjoyable.

@The 42nd Gecko

You know that I don't like to insta-kill people without at least leaving them a chance to decide their own characters' fate. However, I advise to heed to Eos' words this time, all of your characters, especially Artoria should be able to feel that there something very wrong with that sword on Eos' hand.

Actually, it should scare the fuck out of Artoria, since she was made by Hohenheim, who knows all too well what that sword is.
