@Dynamo Frokane

I actually have to edit everything so the heads up is appreciated, this also allows me to kind of fine tune everything, BTW I have a question just so I am clear is the western coalition still a thing since that's a central part to the Mech's Development history, also, would Hylo approve of such joint projects with Therux? Also overall how is the mech feedback helps.

2209: Hylo and Therux begin the Western Coalition and begin stockpiling war forces together.

2215: The 'Helen Tower' is destroyed, the Great War of Orio begins.

2221: The Outcast Guild in the Fortune Reigon is formed.

2232: The Orio war finally ends, with all 3 nations worse for wear and now under a shaky ceasefire.

2235: Present Day, Western Coalition is ended.

Okay so the western coalition has literally just ended by the time of the RP so Therux-Hylo projects would have not stopped completely just yet, but yes I don't think there would be any new projects starting by the time the RP starts. Therux and Hylo's relationship is shaky, but they are still at peace for now at least.

The mech is absolutely fine, though itd me more helpful to state which 'class' the number stats are in maybe with a header.

And also your mech is a tiny bit too small, all player mechs should be between 12-20ish meters, so a slight scale up would be appreciated.

Alright, that helps, I'll be taking a new design and completely different back story, due to the fact that my current philosophy is kind of unclear, so I'll just take some hints from Transformers and Zoids for the time being, as it helps to get some inspiration from an already existing concept.

I'll have it up soon hopefully, since I really like RP's based around Mechs.

@LiotrentHuh. A Northern fighter from the Therux front who specialized in harrying enemy supply lines...

You wouldn't happen to have had anything to do with the destruction of a certain small village, would you? :D

Probably, the Jager Hounds were deployed for a 'trial-by-fire' type of test run, and were led by one of the lead test pilots AKA my pilot. Operations were dictated by the project overseer usually an officer or an engineer, my pilot was a lead tester due to her background in engineering, the lead engineer (AKA Overseer of the project) was never mentioned for story purposes in case anyone wanted to connect a background.

Hoo boy. In that case, best hope Aster doesn't find out she was in command of the forces who destroyed her home, or else she's gonna snap big time.

@Feyblue If that's the case, then I would imagine the proliferation of the MkII Jager Hound design after the war completely did not help her PTSD issue.

Eh, well, the thing is, she never even saw much of the attack, since she was trapped under the rubble of her collapsed house nearly burning to death. Plus, they were just shelling the town from far-off due to mistaking it for a supply base, so it's not like she could have gotten a good look at the attackers even if she was outside. So the mech wouldn't be much of a tell for her, although I guess maybe the sound and effects of its weapons might deeply unsettle her. Mostly, it'd be if she found out about Robin's service record that would make her snap.

I can imagine, though if Robin was involved, she wouldn't have been the one to give the order due to her battalion not having an artillery unit, she would've been part of the group, but she would have been at best an escort, after that point she gets transferred to the Hylo front with a higher rank, allowing her to basically take field command of most battalions and battle groups in her area, which reminds me.

@Duoya

Do you think our characters heard of eachother or even met?

@Dynamo Frokane It's mainly because my character has optional equipment that she switches out, and I figured the supply truck would be the best place to store them- and the mech while not in use. But if that's the case, I can just say that the air carrier is property of the Outcast Guild or something, and she pays a fee to keep her armaments on a specific air carrier

Also, @Liotrent, does your former war-hero intend on working in the Fortune lands by herself? Or would she be interested in a partnership with another former war-hero? :D I thought it'd be interesting having them work together given their opposing backgrounds- and also the alias' 'fang'(or wolf) and 'rabbit' would make a pair of unlikely allies.

I am interested, just have to dive into my library of images to find something suitable.

Edit +3 hours: getting there, just need a pilot pic, name and a final lookover.

@vietmyke Hmm well to be honest, I'm not crazy about you having alternates to begin with mainly, because I created the hand/shoulder/sub spots so your choice of weapons would be somewhat limited, you have been pretty reasonable though, but I'd have to ask that the Alt weapon change can only be activated at specific hub points and not 'on the fly' as it were. I'm also going to make this rule a benchmark standard for anyone else with alt weapons, but to be honest its best if you just keep one loadout.

@Liotrent approved, she really fits the frontier style

would be nice to have some heavy mechs though

either way, put her into the CS tab.

@Dynamo Frokane that was the main reason I had the supply truck/airtaxi/base, so Sara would be locked down to a specific place in order for her to switch things up.

The whole alternative weapons were mainly to fit the design ethos of able to be adaptable. But yeah, I'll keep weapon swaps in check- and definitely not the rapid swap at will sorta thing.

Probably both - Near the end of the war, Nick was pretty high rank since he spent most of his life in the military, and Robin's reputation most likely reached him. After all, beating a Mark lll is pretty impressive. They may have shared a battlefield near the end of the war, since both were in service until it ended, but considering the vast difference in their fighting roles (Heavy artillery support and light 'hit-and-run'), they probably never met directly, unless it was off the field.

She intended to, but she's probably going to be hiding her identity to avoid being watched by unfriendly eyes, so perhaps she might see you as someone who could throw off her profile in case people were looking for her, after all, that Jager Hound is still Frontier property.

@duoya

Cool, I was just wondering since our characters served in the same front and were in the same faction, there's definitely a possibility that they might know one another, just making sure since connecting backstories are pretty cool.

I ended up giving Aster some alternate loadouts, too, though, since I thought it was appropriate for somebody testing a prototype unit to also have a lot of different prototype weapons to try out. It's not like she can switch them on the fly either, but I still probably should have asked first... Sorry about that. ^^;

Since we're on the topic, the Jager Hound had many different configurations, but they all required hard installation, so if in any case in the RP we happen to find another heavy weapons module like a particle beam cannon or a sniper configuration, those could be possible modifications, the shoulders can also be different with hail missile pods and other different attachements, and there were attempts to make the Jager hound primarily for melee by giving it a blade mount on the back. Saying this now, cause if we ever encounter Jager Hounds in the RP they might not all be the same.
