@Spanner

I was purposefully trying to stay away from the actual classes because it's just a hassle to deal with otherwise. The reason I was talking about a 'main' class, and 'sub' class was to make it easier for people to just pick what they wanted their character to be essentially identified as. I purposefully made it vague in the first place so people wouldn't be sweating over what combination of classes they wanted for their character and instead just give a general picture of who their character is. While it may not seem as true, to the series it simplifies things quite a bit and people don't need to know that much about the other characters anyway.

I want the character sheets to be more of a guideline to plan how your character will play then some big checklist. Although the Karma thing might not be such a bad thing to add. If people want to do the whole dividing the character into the different classes like in the novel sheets that's fine, but it's certainly not needed for just creating your own character.

Well, I'm almost done with him but I still need to brush him over with a finer brush so when the OOC comes out it should be finished depending on how long it takes~ I know a few parts that I dislike but here is a proof of concept that is hopefully acceptable >.> *crosses fingers*

(Plus, I need to read the other posted characters to compare... Don't know how he compares to them yet >.<)

Gonna borrow the DnD styles definitions of a couple classes. Haven't read the LN either and it's been a while since I've watched the anime so I may need correction on some points.

Guess I'm ready to post though.

I don't think you even need that outlandish of a reasoning. Think about it:

You get off work at 17 get home 18 eat dinner then go to the gym at 19 come back at 20 and play games till 01(ish) till you gotta go to bed to wake up at 07. from 20 to 01 that's about 6 hours of free time and lets say a hardcore gamer dedicates 5/6 of those from games. So their not a NEET just games are their hobby/ competitive gamer.

~8760 Hours a year. 52 weeks x 5 days (excluding weekends) = 260 days, times 5 hours = 1300 hours , but for reasoning lets take 30 whole days worth of hours(720 hours) of those for idk. Your pet Kangroo dying and the crippling depression makes you like nothing in life and all you just want to do is nothing, but lay down and listen to Heavy Metal and sad Alternative Rock... Or possibly Birthdays, work parties, or signing divorce paperwork.

SO, 580 hours a year and the game lasted from 2126 AD to 2138 AD. so 12 years 580x12=6960 hours.

Almost 7000 hours of game play. Again for a person to put in just 5 hours of their day playing something already seems a little much (that's not including those broke weekends where you play it for like 10). No game in existence or any existence can have that much content for a dedicated Player to not have a Broken Godly level char. Shitttttt, you might have 3.

look at the characters story though. She's only 21 and has only been playing since her senior year of high school which would have been when she was 18 or so. so that's really only 3 years. of course, with full time play over those 3 years she could still have close to 7000 hours(or more) given that the game had already existed for 9 years(and I'd assume it had been updated regularly during that time) that amount of content sounds easily doable. Especially given the apparently heavy PVP element since apparently people seem to be able to put thousands of hours into the latest CoD games for some reason(which is beyond my comprehension).

I did read it and you are correct. Those numbers were just me going on to show it is very reasonable to have level 100 char and to have the best of everything without having your life dedicated, cause I'm sure someone would disagree(which already happened) so I threw out hard numbers. CAUSE NUMBERS DON'T LIE...

Ahem; although I still disagree that a game developer can constantly add content to make your gear obsolete or make it from God tier to Mid tier, but definitely add more variety and different options to what is in the 'God Tier Ranks'. In the COD case, yeah you run, shoot, rank up, get cool skins to show how 1337 you are, then prestige and start all over. You will unlock everything that effects game play before you first prestige. For 'balance' they usually add just maps. Nothing is changed to the core gameplay(Or at least from before BO2. Which is the last one I played). They put in hours cause its fun and nothing else. It doubt it takes that long to get everything and highly doubt those people arnt putting the hours to get all the gold skins or whatever(Im sure their out there). In WOW they did add better gear with most expansions cause their overall game level Cap also went up. Though im not very versed in WOW either. Take that with a grain of salt

I'm agreeing to disagree. I can't correctly argue adding content to games for I am not a Game developer and cant imagine in the far future of the 22nd century how hardcore YGGDRASIL is.

@IceHeartAlright, i am finally done with an app idea!

I wanted to go with a character who is not specifically "combat oriented", who has absurd non-combat skills that would be of use, but if they get into it have something they can use to "assail" the enemy with a strong attack of sorts. :P

But tell me if my imagination got too out of hand as well, in the sense that this idea is "too OP" or such.

Otherwise, i must say that the rest of the OC's being put up so far are very interesting as well! :D

@drewccapp Just so you know, your job class distribution is kind of impossible. The maximum class level in YGGDRASIL is 15, with rare-ish classes normally having a maximum level of 5 or 10, so... 50/50 is a no go.

Well, finished the rough version of my character after lots of headaches. Still kinda meh due to being made in the middle of a trip and the bio will probably be extended for the final version but - for now - that's it:

I am starting to feel like my character is going to be the only one under level one hundred. I won't say my full opinion on the matter though I believe it lacks creativity and people are picking it only for the sake of having the strongest character possible. My own character is 87 for note.

Well, considering that I was going for a character that played the game from the very start, an underleveled character would be somehow inadequate. 9 years of playing frequently and still not level 100 even while leveling in the game is relatively easy (stated in the novel) would be quite the achievement.

@vancexentan That makes him being 87 quite the surprising fact then. I mean, it was stated that getting the exp to level up in the game was pretty easy for most of the classes (save for some that had special requirements, like World Disaster that required killing another player that had this class).

I'm more worried about how I am the only one who gave my Char a username instead of just a normal enough sounding name or some badass name. Like one of the strongest guys in YGGDRASIL name is Touch Me. Touch me...

Like my dudes name is SpookySk3let0ns from the Guild Brique Squadz.
