I'll endeavor (ha) to have mine up today, but I am still on vacation. I have about another hour and a half with the computer and after that it'll be tomorrow night at the earliest before I'm able to reply.
Hello there, ladies and gents! Just to let you know, our band has a bassist and drummer, BUT we also need a rhythm guitarist. If you're interested, PM @Silent Observer or myself!
✚ Former drummer for Twisted Fates ✚ Works at Record Time and gives private lessons (she works for a family friend so technically it's not really a job when she can come in whenever she pleases; It's keeping her busy until she figures shit out) ✚ Occasionally hosts Karaoke at Planet Rose Karaoke Lounge (more volunteer than anything)
║ Appearance ║
Her hairstyle was her signature look when she was in the band Twisted Fates. Now it's just her look, though she's considering changing it up for the sake of 'moving on' from the brand of her old band, but at the same time... this is HER look and she shouldn't have to change it.
Fuck 'em.
Although she kept her clothing style simple, dancing around the styles of pop punk (skinny jeans, band tees, skater girl) and hardcore punk (tees, baggy pants, comfortable clothes to mosh in), her stage presence made simple trendy and young girls wanted to look like her (still do since it wasn't too long ago since she left the band or the band dropped her).
Her slim frame and her 'I don't give a fuck' attitude can make anything work. She can throw on a onesie, walk on stage, woo the crowd with her beats, and still inspire girls to be badass and not give two shits about status quo, media, and fuckers. Her clothes don't wear her, she wears them. For now, she has time to work on her image, especially if she finds an opportunity to destroy her ex and her old band via finding another band to join.
Her blue eyes are striking not because of the color but because of the amount of certainty. If there is one thing Sin will never falter from is she will do what she wants and she absolutely knows what she wants. A fiery spirit resides in her and the moment you set eyes on her, you will know she is a force to be reckoned with. Sin can thrash the stage and make it look HOT AS FUCK - confidence is everything.
Don't underestimate her because she is a 'delicate-looking woman'. Nah, man. She ain't delicate and she will let you know that immediately.
║ Personality ║
Sin Hardy in a nutshell? A hellraiser. Not the typical drummer that is part of the backdrop. Young blood, who never wants to age. If you want to tame her, you better devise an ingenious plan because this babe was never one to take well to someone else's demands. If something benefits her, sure she'll tag along, but the moment things get personal, expect a riot.
Highly energetic and with powerful mastery over a decent amount of drumming styles, with a preference over genres that derive from Rock N Roll, it's obvious that Sin has been playing the drums for most, if not all, of her life. It's second nature to her. Not too long ago, during what the world calls 'the promising days' of Twisted Fates, Sin would have extended drum solos on stage and take on more of a lead role to add different textures to the music.
The heartbeat. The talent. The 'other half' to Donnie Price, the lead vocalist and guitarist for the band. Their chemistry was impeccable. Of course, that was until they went their separate ways. He leaving her behind because she didn't want to conform.
Ha. Funny how that works.
With a dependence on drug substances, she isn't one to deal with 'emotions' well, especially her own. Also, after Donnie fucked her over, her sexual tendencies grew to an unhealthy extent, where romance and love no longer mattered to her, just a good fuck. That being said, she's had problems even before Donnie and the band voted her off the island. Actually, plenty of her issues root back to her father, who's been in prison for a good while.
Yepp, daddy issues! But, that's a bag of worms you do NOT want to open. Hey, at least she's one hell of an attraction with a fighting spirit, hella' nerve, and undeniable charisma.
Her priorities are simply ass backwards.
║ My Dreams ║
To become something without 'selling out' - proving her ex wrong, but also doing what she loves: music.
She doesn't mind popularity. However, she does mind if her music is CRAP.
║ Autobiography ║
With little to no concern over finances, where her parents resided in a luxury estate in Blainville, Quebec, Regina Hardy was (and still is) the only child of James Dean Hardy "JD", the retired guitarist of the band, AXIS, and the late Charlotte Weston, who not only kept her family surname, but continued her family's legacy: producing and selling maple syrup.
A lucrative trade.
Sugar maple trees grow in the chill of Northeast America and eastern Canada. The sap is scarce and can only be collected during the sugaring season, which begins at the end of March. The Weston Maple Farms became a staple in the Blainville community, extending throughout the country and going across the border to a partnering farm in Brattleboro, Vermont.
Turns out that the lovely Weston Maple Farms was a cover up to hide the true family business of the Weston family, passed down throughout the generations, and that was: drug trafficking (which both Charlotte and JD took part in). Charlotte and JD became business partners before they became lovers and the toxic, desperate love affair began between a rockstar and a 'maple syrup' heiress.
In time, Papa Weston did pass away and Charlotte inherited the fortune, the prominence, and the responsibility of such a dark trade, having no siblings to fight over it. She did have aunts, uncles, and cousins, who would make frequent visits to find fault in Charlotte, so they could take over the business, but with JD's help, Charlotte made her empire skyrocket. They were unstoppable and could let their princess explore her talents, without having to worry about anyone but herself.
Ever since Regina could talk, she was pretty vocal on not wanting to take over the business, which did cause strife in the family, but Charlotte would not let her daughter's rebellion ruin what the family had. She would have another child and he would be given everything, while Regina would be left with nothing.
Or there was option two.
JD believed they could convince their daughter otherwise - as long as Regina believed she could still do her music, then she would be more adamant on her responsibilities as the heiress of Weston Maple Farms.
So, he convinced Regina and her friends to start a band, even helping them kickstart their career by giving them the connection to RAW Records. Of course, that didn't happen until he felt they deserved such a big record label, which was after they started from the bottom, playing at gigs, practicing day in and day out, revising and editing songs, to see the blood, sweat, and tears a rockstar must put in to be the best.
She was his daughter after all and she would have the discipline to handle what ever she pursued. He wasn't a man to raise a spoiled girl who thought she could get everything on a silver platter. No, Regina would know what it meant to work for what she wanted and maybe, just maybe, she would find her passion too hard to pursue and agree to inherit everything and continue building on what they had.
Well, it wasn't like she had a choice, but for now, they would make her believe that she could have everything. She could follow her dreams and gain all that the family had. That was until Charlotte Weston was murdered and JD Hardy was seen as the number one suspect. It was all over the news.
Charlotte Weston, holder of Maple Syrup Farms, found dead by father's grave. Gunshot to the head.
There were more details like how she was beaten, battered, possibly raped, and how this was perfectly timed when journalists were making it seem like Charlotte and JD were going through a divorce because things did get exceptionally stressful with the Weston family as a whole... but that's all unimportant now.
After a series of unfortunate events, he was proven innocent in that aspect, but the drug dealings were no longer under wraps of the Weston Maple Farms.
JD Hardy is now behind bars for a very, very long time. At the same time this was happening, Regina felt a drastic change within her band, Twisted Fates. People blame her family's crimes for her stepping down from the band, but that was never the case, even if it effected her emotionally.
Not wanting any of her other family members to take over her land, Regina demolished the farm and the estate, and sold the land for a nice sum of money to an anonymous buyer. When everything was said and done, she gave her dad one last visit and told him she was moving to America and would never look back.
As one last act to apologize to his daughter for allowing things to get this far, he gave her contact information of a couple of friends of his and an opportunity to start a new in Philadelphia.
He never stops sending her letters.
║ Reputation ║
The hot chick in Twisted-- wait, she isn't in the band anymore?!
The main reason Twisted Fates was able to reach new heights was because Sin was the heartbeat of the band and she gave the band the ability to explore different musical styles that none of them thought they were capable of doing. Only her true fans would understand that the band lost something good, even if the majority thinks they're heading toward the right direction. Pop will surely bring in more fans! Let's be more about aesthetics than talent, you know? It's all about the market, who cares if you produce GOOD music. RIGHT?
Sin Hardy chose to jump ship the moment Twisted Fates' responsibilities picked up and they signed onto RAW Records, one of the biggest Canadian record labels known to date!
More power to her.
I honestly don't blame her because of all the drama that transpired in her family. It's going to take her a LONG time to rebuild herself after leaving everything she and Donnie created together behind. Every decision can lead to the demise of a musician.
You either sink or swim.
Did she make a royal mistake? Or will Sin make the comeback of a lifetime?
For anyone who hasn't posted yet, when it does come time to post just take it as if your character was in that meeting scene to save us from having multiple timelines on the go.
