Charlie Farrier

Location: The X-Van

Charlie was beginning to feel less and less confident in the abilities of the team as various things unfolded; some guy with silver hair nearly blowing them up; the tiger-girl having a temper tantrum at getting in the car, the guy waking up from a nap telling everyone quite cheerfully that they could die, some chick who was apparently an agent making jokes about huffing chemicals, a chatterbox blonde that seemed just as nervous as he felt, and some guy with sick tattoos sizing up the wild girl as if wanting to challenge her. Sinking back in his chair in a dejected manner, Charlie's legs seemed to increase their speed in bouncing up and down.

"At least the suits are fire-proof." He thought to himself grimly, already anticipating a dark outcome for this mission. They hadn't even discussed a plan as of yet, which was also concerning. As far as he knew, this mission was an important one. Fate of the world, and all that. Surely someone other than a bunch of... whatever the people in this van were, were better suited for the job?

Drumming his fingers lightly on his knees, he cocked his head in agreement to Allison. "Yeah, what she said. Not the "super-pumped" part, just the "game-plan" part. You do actually have one, right?" He asked doubtfully, wondering how this group was going to work out in a real battle with real consequences when they had arguments over pressing explosion buttons.

Nina van Essenhout

Location: The X-Van

Nina had directed a somewhat sharp look at Marygold, but didn't say anything about the unfolding chaos in the van. She was more than aware that most people Nina had interacted with disliked her tendency to take control - although only in the manner of trying to deescalate a situation or make it better, it was still annoying. Even Nina could understand that. The X-Men (Or X-Children, as they were currently acting.) were under Marygold's command, so Nina left the job to her. Undermining her authority wouldn't help the kid grow as a leader anymore anyway.

Turning to Cassandra and her sister, Nina's expression warmed slightly. Although it would make one ten times more worried out on the field, it must be nice to work together with your sibling. She was sure her friend was feeling equal parts concern and happiness at having her younger sister sat beside her, especially on such an important mission. At the very least, Cassandra could take solace in knowing that if they somehow failed, her sister would live. Though Cassandra and every other human would die, so it would be a bittersweet thought. Best not to let it happen in the first place, Nina thought.

"I hope you enjoy your time at the Institute, Carolina." She said pleasantly. "When ignoring the life-threatening missions, it's a lovely place to live. Excellent training rooms, too." She vaguely wondered what kind of offensive training Carolina had - her power didn't really seem like it would be useful out on the field, but then again, powers could be surprising in all kinds of ways.

Marygold Isley

Marygold's mood was not getting any better. Anymore of these shenanigans and she would beat Ayita to the punch of smacking someone. She had hoped that by now the team would hopefully have learned not to mess around near equipment like this. She was starting to regret not taking a few of the lesser equipped vehicles. If she sat in this van any longer she will start punching people, which probably is not a good thing to do when she was driving. She took in a deep breath, and spoke to the others.

"Be careful, usually you shouldn't push those buttons unless absolutely necessary. Now, since this was kind of a last minute decision, we haven't exactly had time to prepare a plan for this one. However, since we are headed straight for the Brotherhood's headquarters, we need to expect that we are much more likely to run into more than just a few of them, like we did at the power plant last month. We need to be prepared for anything. Now, since we aren't exactly sure where in the hideout the virus that we are trying to prevent is, we are most likely going to need to split up into smaller groups so we can cover more ground. Agent Reed, if it is alright with you, I was thinking of splitting you and Guin up, since you two are vulnerable to the virus, and having you with a few of the other team members around, however it is still ultimately up to you since SHIELD is a completely different group from us".

She looked over at the controls in front of her. At the speed they were travelling at, it would take roughly 30 minutes to get them to the city, if they don't run into traffic. With a few button presses and moving a lever, she could easily halve that time without them being seen. In some ways, the van did have more toys than the bird did, and she decided that since time was of the essence, it would be better for them to get there as quickly as possible. She entered in a button combination, and the van let out a small stutter, and when she pushed a lever forward, there was a sudden lurch and suddenly the van was going a lot faster, causing the images outside the window to blur. With another button, a voice came on that said "Driving Assistance Enabled" which was basically a partial autopilot for the van, it made it so that she could easily talk to everyone else if needed. The van already knew the address, for she punched it in while people were still showing up. At least now if need be she could punch someone without having to worry about crashing.

Cassandra Reed

Location: The Mansion

Cassandra looked towards Oshea as he spoke, which made her roll her eyes ever so slightly at his comment that they would probably end up dying. Which was not going to be her intention on doing either, she planned on getting everyone else on the mission out alive. "No one is going to die on this mission or any other while we all work together." Cassandra said, she couldn't help but snort slightly at Guin's comment about huffing some chemicals. It probably sounded like something she had witnessed her father do whenever she was younger but decided to not comment, she again snorted slightly at Ayita's comment towards her choice of mates as she moved in between Peitro and the console in the van. It was probably a good idea, the van probably had some kind of self destruct installed on it somewhere and button pressing wasn't ever a wise thing to do.

Then both Charlie and Allison both asked for the game plan, it was true that they didn't have a good plan set in stone just yet looking towards Marygold as she started to speak up. She nodded slightly she could understand why she wanted to separate her and Guin into different teams. "It is alright with me." Cassandra said looking among the others in the van before speaking eyeing Marygold as well. "There is about ten of us, we should separate into smaller teams. Guin, Nina and Peitro are one team." Keeping her word towards Nina.

"Oshea, Allison, Ayita and Carolina team two. And then me, Marygold and Charlie team three? Again this is also your group as well you have a say in the setup as well Marygold." Cassandra suggested, figuring that it would be the best setup for everyone. Cassandra felt the sudden lurge in speed as the van sped up looking out the window as things seemed to start to blur as the drive started to look like it would be a lot shorter.

Carolina Reed

Location: The Mansion

Carolina looked over towards Nina and gave her a slight smile, this was something more temporary she didn't really see herself as being an X-Man like the others. She was more used to working for SHIELD, and she had some formal training but not enough to fight herself she mostly just controlled the bodies of others and knew what they knew when she possessed someone. "I've already been shot at a few times before, i'm slightly used to it at this point." Carolina replied rubbing the back of her neck slightly, her attention turned towards Marygold and her sister.

They were planning on making smaller teams it seemed like as she looked at Damon for a moment blushing again tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear and looked out the window as the van started to speed up. She didn't really like the idea of being separated from her older sister, she knew that Cassandra and Guin were both susceptible to whatever virus Magneto was cooking up.

Ayita Dyrkin

Location Xavier's Institue - Outskirts of New York
{"NO touching my buttons."}

"And what would I use this form for?" The shifter shrugged, before noticing the threat to the possibly (and most likely) deadly buttons. Ayita swatted Daemon's hand and grabbed his wrist. Forcing the said hand away from the buttons gently before she released him. Humored if slightly annoyed at his actions she rolled her eyes. A rare action for the shifter. Eyes were generally always locked on the threat or the person. Aiming a cat like swat at the Host she gives a suffering huff of air. "Did I not just say to leave them alone? Or do you want to argue with a bear?" Her frown turned to a feral smile. Hardly reassuring and much like the first Daemon had seen when she has asked for his help a while back. Though, it was meant in friendly jest towards him. To others... A clear warning.

Ayita glanced towards Cassandra and frowned. Guin and Pietro together? That didn't seem like a good idea. Shifting uneasily, the shifter argued whether or not to speak up about it. Guin could take her place and vice versa. There was another reason. If she went feral... Could any of that group stop the beasts that ran in her blood? Reluctant to point it out she hunched her shoulders slightly. Trying to appear smaller than she was already trying to seem. Not wanting to alarm the others with what several had noted as 'overly tall'. Her voice lapsed into the quiet voice that cut through the tight gathering of people. "Switch Guin and I?" She cast Allison a worried glance, covertly as she could. "I may need Nina's strength, if we are expecting a fight." Her eyes dropped as she tilted her head so her face was readily read. She never liked admitting she could lose it. But if they were going into the den of a beast, or several, she might need to pull out all the stops. Even that of sanity. It worried her greatly.

Guinevere Stark

Location: The X-Van
{"It's an imperfect world but it's the only one we've got."}

Most likely would've blushed at Ayita's comment about their new significant other. Guin however couldn't help but crack a grin, chuckling at Ayita's observation. She wasn't wrong--Guin did have an odd taste in men. She used to somehow explain it off as her father's karma, after everything he had done throughout his life. She tended to be attracted to inappropriate guys--in Pietro's case, he was the son of a terrorist. He fit the bill.

Guin listened with mild interest to Allison's bubbly ramble, but she raised an eyebrow at the tone of disdain from one of the new members, Charlie. People tended to romanticize this sort of operations. Everyone expected the top team to fit a certain image, to have a certain set of skills. And yes, the X-Men were one beautiful mess of a group, but that didn't make them any less effective. They may have lost the battle at the power plant, but that didn't mean they'd lost the war. Ragtag groups of people trying to make a difference, in Guin's opinion, had a better success rate than most people would expect.

"I agree with Ayita. We need to organize based off of powers and capabilities. It'll be the most effective strategy that way," Guin pointed out. "As it stands, the teams are imbalanced. Each team should have someone with chemical training on it--so any S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, as things stand. And of course, you have to consider who can work together. Pietro's great and all, but should I be working with him? Fuck no. And then there's You-Know-Who--again, another bad partnership. Ayita and Damon would make sense to be on the same team, as their abilities compliment each other. New recruits also shouldn't be concentrated in one spot--they need experienced people with them."

Allison Andrews

Location: The Garage
{"Teamwork makes the dream work!"}

Allison was tending to agree on all points. Splitting up seemed to be the best bet considering their, now, large group. While the power plant mission went south, it had all the makings of a good plan. And yes, Allison saw the brief glance Ayita sent her direction. The fact the woman was so concerned about her touched her and made her feel all the warm fuzzies inside.

But now it was business.

"I agree with the balanced teams that Guin puts out. It would be best considering we now have a larger team than before. Plus, the power plant went pretty bad, pretty quick and I take part of the blame on that, though I did find out I had a cool new power and that was pretty awesome. Plus I got to meet Tony Stark and, oh my God, that was cool. Sorry Guin, touchy subject and all that. Though, is it? Did you work it out with him? I'm rambling, sorry! Anyway, yes, team composition is important. I don't know where you would place me, but my talk with Professor X helped me realize my possible strengths in planning and predicting. Plus now I can throw things withy my mind, so added bonus!" Allison pumped her arms out in a cheerleader-esque fashion, trying not to punch anyone as she did so. She put them down quickly with a small blush and a warm smile.

Damon Fawkes

Damon had been pretty much ignoring the rest of the people in the van while he waited for a reaction from Ayita. He was fully prepared for a slap, but part of him also figured this was a way to distract the tiger woman from loosing her mind. Or at least, he hoped that was what would happen. Then he heard her and his mouth twitched. "I do not think the van would be able to handle a bear" Many would find that smile that followed as threatening, but he found it as teasing. Clearly, he had been around her far too long.

Before Damon could continue to mess with Ayita, he found himself pulled into paying attention to people starting up groups. He waited until there was a pause before he spoke up, the regular rule follower of a self was fully present once more. "It would be best if I paired up with Ayita given that I have worked with her before." His arm moved from the button and folded with his other arm. Once he said his piece he quieted, not responding to Allison.

Oshea Jackson

"Keep ya Chucks laced and ya mind straight, it's time for war."

Location: Xavier's Funtime Party Van

In the jubilance of the moment, Oshea hadn't stopped to consider the gravity present. There were more lives on the line now, and it may be time for Oshea to push his childish tendencies to the back of his mind. With a lasting glance along the bus, he made a mental count of the name, face, and power of all those present: Nina was hulk-woman, Allison had telekinesis and her probability sight, Ayita was the shifter, Marygold the queen of plants; Damon the tattoo specialist, and he had not seen what the rookies could do yet. The one with the bangs whose legs wouldn't cease their incessant bouncing had an agitation to him--Oshea would note this as well.

Some on the bus suggested breaking into teams: a solid idea, though it may play into the Brotherhood's trap. Divide, manipulate, conquer--a typical gameplan, but the most effective; this was especially so against this ragtag band of wannabes. Oshea had faith in his squadron, though. Yes, the first mission hadn't gone as planned, but everyone got out alive and so in Oshea's eyes, the mission was a success. A smile peppered Oshea's face as he compartmentalized and organized his X's and O's in his head with the teams which had been assembled. Maybe everything would be fine after all.

Charlie Farrier

Location: The X-Van

"So no plan. Wonderful." Charlie muttered to himself in response to what Marygold had said. Now, the rest of the van couldn't even agree on how to split the teams up. Thinking back to common horror movie tropes, splitting up was always the worst thing possible to do. Still, this wasn't a horror movie. If it was any movie, it would be an action blockbuster... so all they needed was a John McClane or James Bond to save the day single-handedly. As if that would ever happen. At the very least, Charlie alone could provide all of the explosions necessary for a movie worthy of Michael Bay.

"My powers deal with fire. Setting them, controlling them... kind of." Charlie interrupted the team debate to announce what he could do, just in case not everyone had heard about him. He hadn't been at the Institute long, after all. "I don't know whether it would be a good idea or not putting me near chemicals, but I can act like an incinerator if you need one."

Nina van Essenhout

Location: The X-Van

Nina crooked a smile in response to Carolina, though she thought it a shame that she could talk so nonchalantly about being shot at - it was no way for someone to live, simply because of they way they were born. As the discussion picked back up in the van, Nina's eyes shot to each person as they spoke. Everyone made good points (Though some did so childishly.) It was difficult to not be at least slightly amused by Allison's bubbly bursts of conversation, though the thought of Tony Stark showing up on this mission wasn't a particularly good one. If Magneto was present, Iron Man wouldn't be of any use anyway... but Nina simply wanted to avoid the man at all costs. The awkwardness of such an interaction would be terrible. Especially on a battle-ground.

"Agreed. Guinevere and I should be on separate teams." She said, wondering why Cassandra had not mentioned Guinevere earlier when warning her about Pietro. Surely she knew which one would cause more problems to Nina? "I imagine Pietro by himself will be distracting enough without hearing snide comments in my ear all the time. I can take Ayita and Damon as well. It's a fairly balanced team, and those left over have a good balance too."

Marygold Isley

The reaction to Cassandra's suggested teams was interesting. She expected some backlash from Guin and Nina when Cassandra suggested that they paired up. Marygold had to force herself to hold back a laugh at them. Everyone had fair points about who should be on what team, and most people seemed alright for the most part with her pairings, but those who weren't had some fair points.

"Alright, switching Guin and Ayita sounds like a good idea, since so many people seem to have reasons for them to switch. Uh, also, I notice that you didn't exactly place Damon anywhere, so he can go with Nina, Pietro, and Ayita. For the most part though, I'm good with those teams".

She didn't care to mention that she had always had a problem with fire, and Charlie could control it. Though having someone who could easily destroy things was an added bonus. She'd suck it up and be fine with it.

"Alright, unfortunately we have limited information on the lab itself. There are about 4 floors underneath the main floor which is at street level, and only one other story above ground. The virus is most likely on one of those lower levels, though checking the main floor and the upper level would be smart since we have no idea what Magneto will do next, and that level would also be in a better position to release the virus. Obviously, we'll split up, one group taking the two floors above street level and the other two splitting up to take the four floors below. When each group finishes their search, try to meet up with the others, though I'm not sure how good of a radio signal we'll get down there".

As she finished speaking, she looked over towards Cassandra,"You have any preference on which groups go where?" she asked. They had about another 6 minutes until they reached their destination.

Cassandra Reed

Location: The Mansion

Cassandra listened to everyone elses suggestions and gave a nod, some of it was pretty imbalanced she had to agree with Guin, looking towards her for a moment and smiled slightly. Then her attention went towards Marygold asking which teams should go where exactly, the ground floor, and then the other three levels lower floors. She took a few moments to think, if she was Magneto or some evil mad scientist she would have a lab on either the third or fourth levels.

"If I was Magneto i'd probably have my lab of mass destruction on one of the lower levels, it only make sense ground level would most likely be seen by unwanted eyes. So my team and Guin's should take the ground floors, since we are the susceptible ones to his virus." Cassandra suggested, she didn't want to see Guin taken out by his virus Her eyes wondering over towards the others in the van and then looked down at her watch, they would be there pretty soon. "The other teams sweep the underground levels." She then looked over towards her sister as she spoke out.

Carolina Reed

Location: The Mansion

Carolina looked between her sister and then Marygold as everyone started to talk about splitting up the teams, and making a few changes to the set up. She knew her ability could be useful, and possibly not have to send in the team. "I have a suggestion, my ability I could possess someone inside of the building, take control of them and find out where exactly it is without sending people in. Maybe even shut down whatever security that they have set up."

So long as she wasn't detected by anyone else inside of the building she should be fine. Carolina looked over at the others in the room, maybe they would agree with it or not she didn't have any formal combat training other then using her hosts knowledge to fight.

Allison Andrews

Location: The Garage
{"It's a wonder we haven't blown up yet."}

Allison was thinking as the others spoke. She had the team compositions in her mind. While she didn't know the new additions well enough, she assumed they were capable. The teams seemed fine. Look at me, she thought, strategizing. That's what the professor had told her right? She may not be the brawn, she may not be the speed, but she would be the brains. Every team needed one.

She closed her eyes and tried her hardest to get a vision. Often times she could not control them, but she hoped with enough practice whenever she wanted one, she would get one. Maybe with a bit more practice, she would be able to determine how far into the future she could see. It hurt still, she knew it was taxing on her mind, but she had to try for her friends. They were going in blind for the most part. Blurry. She was the only one with glasses.

Allison giggled to herself at the symbolism she just made. She kept her eyes close. The others probably thought she was mad. That made her giggle more. Focus, Allison! She calmed her breath and let her mind wander.

Guinevere Stark

Location: The X-Van
{"That's my problem - I always want to make things clever."}

In the midst of all of the conversations and arguing, the color drained from Guin's face as a realization struck her. This wasn't that much different than organic chemistry mechanisms. Creating something that would target one reaction site couldn't be easily modified to target another one. It'd be easier to modify that substance to protect the original target, and add another substance that would come in to attack the rest.

"The addition of a protecting group before a reaction," Guin whispered, her eyes wide. Magneto had stolen a virus designed to target the X-gene. Everyone had been pouring over the research in the laboratory, attempting to find out how he had transformed it to target humans and then, how to create a cure. But Magneto didn't need to switch the genetic guidance system. No, he made the initial virus into a vaccine against the next one. It would contain a blocker, designed to attach only if the host had the X-gene. Then when the next virus came in, that blocker would deactivate it.

The mutants would live and the humans would die.

"At least a week..." Guin then muttered, moving her hands in front of her and tracing structures in the air that only she could see. "Mary, get Beast on the line. There isn't just one virus that Magneto is releasing - there's two."

Guin then glanced around the van, thinking of a way to explain this. "The virus made by S.H.I.E.L.D. had a genetic guidance system, designed to attack the X-gene. It's incredibly difficult to just reverse that system. Instead, you can use the system to add on a shield, a suit of armor so to speak, for everyone with the X-gene. You can then release a specifically designed virus that only that shield, so to speak, can defend against. Mutants live, humans die."

She drummed her fingers against the window of the van. "But he wouldn't want to do it right away...He'd need to do a test run, make sure it works. Likely an aerosol delivery method, easier that way, but those do tend to spread...If he has unleashed the test of phase one, all of the mutants in New York are already vaccinated, so to speak...Magneto just needs to wait until he's confident all of the mutants have absorbed the original virus, the one with the blocker. Then...goodbye humans of New York."

"Pietro, I need you to give us a run down of everyone currently active with the Brotherhood. And I'd like to request to be sent to the lower floors. It's deadly, but it's S.H.I.E.L.D. This is more than me and that's where I can help the most."

Ayita Dyrkin

Location Xavier's Institue - Outskirts of New York
{"Down to the Deep."}

Ayita closed her eyes and sighed as the van fell into a clamor of voices. Opening them again, she resumed watch on the buttons and frowned deeply. Chemicals were not her forte, but she was a fighter. A hunter. Her amber eyes flickered to Guin as the Stark spoke. Her face paling slightly. She may not be over knowledgeable in this, but what Guin was describing. It was a plague. A purge. Ayita suppressing a shiver of fear. To wipe out a entire species was a fools gamble. She hadn't studied much of the human spectrum of the world but she knew if you took out the wolf the elk would overwhelm the plains. Take out the elk- the wolves starved. Applying this to mutants and humans...

Some would survive- become immune. But they would come back with a vengeance that would be justified. She clenched her hands, this had turned from a slightly difficult situation to a mess. A utter mess! She longed to flee to mountain and forest. To never set foot among mutant and human again if it allowed her to avoid this. But not yet. Not for the first time did she curse herself a fool for forming attachments to some of the people about her. It was worrisome. Giving a deep growl she shifted her shoulders. Feeling like she wanted to pounce on this problem.

Damon Fawkes

Damon had remained fairly silent the entire time others were talking. He was not in the roll of a leader here after all, and it was better to listen to those who were in the leader position. His eyes flicked from person to person as they spoke, nodding occasionally with each statement. He seemed to not be contributing, but he was fully taking in each word.

What had Damon reacting more though, was when Guin spoke. A wave of concern spread through him and his expression reflected that. Two viruses. Ut made a lot of sense once Guin spoke about it, but it was incredibly messed up. How could someone hate people so much that they would decide to do such awful things to them. His gaze moved to Ayita and he blinked at her clenched hands. The growl did not help confidence in Ayita feeling okay, then again...he really did not feel okay either.

Silently, Damon moved to sit closer to Ayita. He gently nudged her shoulder. "Don't go feral on us just yet" His voice was hushed, practically whispered. The tease was present, as if to try to talk her down from running...or pouncing...or general shifting. He felt just as not okay about that whole idea of a situation, but he would rather not add a tiger in a van full of deadly buttons on top of all that.

Oshea Jackson

"He wears a mask just to cover the raw flesh."

MF DOOM

Methodic, Oshea began tapping his foot against the floor of the van. The group would arrive soon, and then the world would once more depend on this group of teenagers and young adults to save it. from peril. Oshea could not settle his mind, and he needed a towel for the sweat slipping down his face. To praise oneself in jest was fun, and Oshea would big himself up in front of anyone if it helped veil the angst he felt before tasks undertaken--but it offered him no true cloth of courage. In himself, there was mighty cowardice; and it only reared itself when it came time for him to be a hero and cease mere portrayal of one. Silence crept and seized him.

There was more at stake here, grand and personal. Danger once more befell the extraneous human populous, but Oshea could only do so much for them. Here in this van there were individual lives which he could have deeper impact upon, some who he had come to care about tremendously; others who he was sure he would come to care about. Gone was the worry about surviving the mission; present was the sureness of lives retained. Childish he was, and in this child like fixation the vice of cowardice and the virtue of selflessness remained--somehow, Oshea knew he had to find a way to spur the giving of himself contra the coward within.

There was, of course, always the problem of doing.

Charlie Farrier

Location: The X-Van

Charlie didn't really understand what Guinevere had suddenly looked so scared about. Instead of one virus, there were two now, or something? Regardless of how many there were, she - and the rest of the humans - had a chance of dying. Just as he was about to make a sarcastic quip about how while it was fascinating that she had worked out how the virus would be working, perhaps they'd be better off focusing on how to stop it in the first place, he hesitated as she spoke to the silver-haired guy.

"Pietro, I need you to give us a run down of everyone currently active with the Brotherhood."

The Brotherhood? Charlie could think of only the one reason off the top of his head why this Pietro guy would be the resident expert on the members - he was one of them. In the past week or so, Charlie had found it hard to avoid the chatter about him in the school, and how he'd betrayed Magneto to help the X-Men after helping beat the crap out of them. He hadn't realised that this was that guy, here on a mission to save the world, which would involve attacking said Brotherhood.

"Jesus Christ." He whispered to himself incredulously, running his hands through his hair. As Ayita growled and the blonde beside him began to giggle to herself, Charlie shook his head dejectedly. "The world is screwed."

Nina van Essenhout

Location: The X-Van

Guinevere's realisation was an assumption, but from what Nina knew of chemistry, was likely an accurate one. Rewriting an entire virus would take time that Magneto didn't have, but using it as a vaccine first would be far easier to protect the Mutants.

"... And if we're lucky, perhaps he hasn't released the vaccine yet at all." Nina interjected, adding on to what Guinevere said. "If we can prevent the vaccine from being released, Magneto won't be tempted to become trigger-happy in releasing the virus as we stop him. If it has already been released... well, hopefully we have enough time left before it's affected every mutant in New York. Usually it takes about two weeks for a vaccine to become effective. He's had about a month since the virus was first taken... taking into account how long it would take for the virus to be reworked, we may just be in time here." It was a glimmer of hope; one that made Nina feel a tad more positive about the overall mission. Looking back to Carolina, Nina nodded in agreement to her suggestion.

"Taking down security from the inside will help us a lot - even more so if you can take out the power supply as well. They likely have back-up generators, but slowing them down in any way possible is paramount. I'm afraid we'll still need ground teams inside though. Too much is at stake." It was a brave thing for Carolina to suggest; not just from possible personal harm (Who knew what overuse of such a power could lead too), but taking on that kind of responsibility was huge. Clearly, she took after her sister.

Marygold Isley

"I like your plan Cassandra, but currently we have everyone sorted into 3 teams, so that would put 2 teams above ground, and only one searching the lower levels," she said, and gave a smile to Carolina, "that would work, though you would have to be really careful about it".

All color drained from her face when Guin mentioned them needing to virus' in order to be effective. That was not something that she had expected, and this was going to get messy, really quick. It seemed that time was definitely not on their side yet again. They had to hurry, in order to stop them. When she asked Pietro about who was in there, he was quick to respond.

"There are quite a few actually. Let's see, there's my sister obviously, my father, Sabretooth. Um... I think there was Blob, Avalanche, and Toad. Mystique I think, though she could be just about anywhere right now. Oh, there were also two other people, don't remember their names though. Hardly remember their faces actually, though I never really paid attention to them".

Marygold went through the members in her mind. They were definitely a little short on the straight up muscle that was for sure. Sabretooth and Blob both had super-strength, as well as a few other things. Avalanche would be a problem, especially in the middle of a city. She wasn't too concerned about the rest, but that could change once they were inside.

"Look Guin, ask Cassandra about going down below, your technically a member of SHIELD, so I don't get a say in that. Though preferably you won't be down below in case he has actually released the first virus and is just now biding his time. Let's get Beast on the phone, so we can ask him any questions you might have". She punched in a few buttons in the front console, and the sound of a phone ringing can be heard throughout the van. When Beast answered, Marygold immediately started speaking again, "Hey Hank, sounds like we might have a few quick questions for you," she said, before glancing back at Guin, since she had been the one who first told her to call Beast.

Cassandra looked over towards Guin for a moment when she came to the realization that Magneto was working on two viruses, though it did make a little bit a sense it would take a very long time to create a completely new virus. But modifying one as a vaccine wouldn't take that long. She was a bit familiar with what Guin did mention that SHIELD had been working on a virus for the X-Gene, though she mainly left it to the egg heads with that stuff. Cassandra worked mainly within the field or in engineering building or fixing SHIELD gear and weapons.

She looked at her younger sister when she mentioned her suggestion, it was a good idea they would be able to get some more intel, and take them by surprise if she managed to take down their security systems and power as well. When Guin asked Quicksilver what he knew who still worked within the Brotherhood, she couldn't help shudder slightly at the mention of Sabertooth. She had a bad scar from him just a few weeks ago at the power plant. The others were a nobrainer either, they always worked closely with Magneto, but then she wasn't sure who were the unknowns that Quicksilver couldn't remember.

"Well do you happen to have a description on what they look like at least, maybe we can try and cross reference their looks with all databases for the Brotherhood?" Cassandra suggested, she didn't know what the abilities they had that could be a serious problem, Cassandra stared at Guin for a moment. She wanted to go down into the lower levels to try and take, Guin was more fit with that kind of stuff as well more then she did, she did start learning some molecular science with the help of Hank. But she was still just learning it, rubbing her eyes for a moment Cassandra sighed looking at Guin. "Alright, since its more your area. However, I want you to stay in constant contact with me." Cassandra said.

Carolina looked over towards Nina and gave her a soft smile and nod. "So long as they don't have a mental attacker, or someone with a similar ability to mine I should be fine. I've had people I control end up dying, its painful but I usually come out safe and sound." Carolina said softly. Looking towards Ayita for a moment seeing the girl tensing up for a moment, as Guin started to bring up the idea of a second virus. She certainly didn't know anything about that kind of stuff, which would probably be a slight problem her attention went over towards Allison. Carolina hadn't really had the time to interact with the girl since she came to the mansion but she seemed to be friendly enough. "So ready for the next mission?" Carolina asked her giving her a friendly smile.

When Marygold spoke to her about her suggestion she gave her a friendly smile and nod. "No problem, once we get there i'll be ready to sneak in." She said, as far as she knew there wasn't anyone that would be able to see her spirit running along the halls, so it wouldn't be much of an issue. The only big issue would be trying to possess and control someone, if it failed then it would certainly alert someone, then that would end horribly.

Allison Andrews

Location: The Garage
{"Puppies and kittens. Think happy thoughts...."}

Allison struggled, but no vision came. She instantly became frustrated but remembered that she was still new to most of this. Plus, her visions seemed to come when she needed them. She would have to rely on that fact. Especially considering Guin's note. This mission became even more intense, but she would not let that get to her. Now more than ever, they needed someone to smile in the face of darkness.

She looked over as Carolina spoke to her. She hadn't talked to any of the new people much, so this was a treat. "Oh goodness, you're talking to me? That's new! Usually people try to avoid that for reasons that may seem pretty obvious now. I'm good, I'm ready. Been trying to get my powers ready to no avail, but what can ya do? Mind powers are tricky things. What's your power again? I bet it's super cool. And I'm rambling again." Allison quickly shut up to let the others talk. She wanted to get started. Being cooped up in this car wasn't doing her any favors.
