Predictably, the fight had gone about as well for the outnumbered demon as could have been expected--even with two of them sitting out of it, though she doubted that an author would be much use in a fight, he was still hopelessly outmatched simply by being unable to fully focus on the sword fight. There was a use in his continued life--someone so obliviously acting as the most stereotypical villain possible was quite amusing. He also seemed the sort likely to lead her to some further source of magical power to hold a spell or two in reserve.

Though it had taken him some time, he'd come to the natural crux of the matter--they were manifestly in a different world. The incongruous appearance of a certain Hans Christian Andersen was a clue, whilst his lack of actually demonic features was another. Even the child's staff was something beyond the ability of all but a select few to create--and given that Chao was explicitly from the future and there wasn't a pactio in sight, it had to come from somewhere else. If they had been brought to another world, with no idea how or why, then it was a bad idea to go killing each other off until they knew how to get home.

It would be a shame to find the method but realise that one of the components needed had been dead for weeks.

Thus, to Mordred, the completely unexpected vision of her Master coming in from out of seemingly nowhere, having produced an iron fan, and knocking the killing blow aside. Not that it was time for Menomaru to get too comfortable, with the vampire still having her fist cocked and a free shot.

"As much as a third-rate villain like yourself should normally die around this point of the story, where the hero has shown what they can do, you're right about being in another world. We might need you alive for everyone to get back but if you won't co-operate then..."

Asterios certainly couldn't have explained the difference between an alchemist and a magus before, with the blonde's sudden alteration of the trees around them only raising further questions. To him, it was magic all the same and the hope that he'd be able to establish her as a Master before the situation became unspeakably dire. Already, it was starting to be something of a concern despite his lack of exertion; Servants just weren't meant to exist without some form of magical sustenance...

Sitting on the ground, the famous monster waited for his turn to introduce himself. Ah... maybe he could make a better impression than when his Master had summoned him, and actually give a name--his name, not that hated moniker.

"As...terios..."

As if her current situation wasn't enough of a problem, it got even stranger when a man just stepped out of the air in front of her. No glowing symbols, no warning--just appearing in a way that mirrored her own arrival but far more controlled. There was only one group that she knew of to have anything like those abilities but that didn't mean he was hostile... still, just in case, the girl kept a grip on the relic fragment as she walked towards Ben.

"Excuse me, are you an alchemist?"

Shokuhou Misaki

With her feet landing softly on the pavement, Misaki let out a sigh of relief as she watched the portal back fade away into obscurity once more. After that sudden detour, it was only fair to want to take a bit of a breather, but she knew that doing so right now might lead to another capture. No, more than that, she had to find a place to retreat to; without any easy way back into Academy City (not like that was a place to want to be right now) and a fair certainty that she wasn't even in her own version of Tokyo right now, the ideal scenario right now would either be to lay low. Well, that or...

"...Contact the government," she muttered to herself as the faint sounds of police sirens resonating from across the city met her ears. Yes, that was certainly an option; she'd sacrifice almost 90% of her autonomy at minimum and probably have to mind control her way out if things went south, but antagonizing the entirety of Japan was not something she wanted on her 'to-do' list for today. At the same time, though, she didn't want to sleep out on the streets or wander about aimlessly like a zombie until daybreak...

"I wonder... If I contact a police station, then control the precinct... Actually, now that I think about it, let's do that. Worst comes to worst, I wipe the memory of anyone who saw me and run, right?" she rationalized to herself as she began to move. If the sounds of chaos all over the city were any indication, she'd have plenty of spare time to move about to try and find any police officer that wasn't in a panic trying to keep the peace.

Leonardo Watch

"Erm... Cagliostro and... Asterios, was it? Are you from outside Hellsa- I mean, New York? Actually, given what just happened, I think that's already pretty clear. Um... Well, I'm not sure what exactly to talk about here, then. But seriously, this place is a lot more peaceful than Hellsalem's Lot... Minus the helicopters flying towa—"
Leo's lackadaisical smile slowly froze as the gears began turning in his head. The sudden mobilization of a military police force meant that there was a threat that happened to appear just as suddenly; given that the people that were walking around at this time of day weren't on edge at all, then the possibility of 'war' was also on the table. To him, of course, it spelled out the possibility of another 'Fall' like the one that had happened in Hellsalem's Lot, which also meant...

With a jolt, Leo sprung to his feet, beads of sweat forming at his brow as he looked at the direction the helicopters were flying in before taking a deep breath. It wouldn't be long before the city might attempt to cut off all forms of transport in and out of the area, which meant that time was of the essence. He didn't want to go, but at times like these, staying put was probably less productive that going out and trying to stop the fire before it spread, so to speak.

"Sorry, but I think I'm going to have to check out what's going on," he said, bowing in apology to the two in front of him before darting off, Sonic grabbing onto the hem of his jacket as he did so. The easiest way to get there right now was the subway, and...

Well, hopefully his card worked, because running down a bridge either blocked off by police or filled with moving cars with no walking lanes was a fool's errand.

Hinanawi Tenshi

Tenshi grumbled to herself as their opponent was able to block most of her bullets before dragging that other swordswoman into a ball of plants... Or something. Before she could move to free her, though, said swordswoman casually broke out with her own power, and it wasn't long before the combined force of both her and the child with the oversized hammer managed to knock their opposition flying. She, apparently, wasn't as needed here as she thought. At the same time, though, it wasn't as if she wanted to suddenly disappear after all of... Well, this had happened. While having an inner monologue about what course of action to take next, the weirdo flying above their heads finally managed to drag Tenshi's attention away from her own problems. He didn't seem hostile, of course, but she wasn't in the mood for dealing with an arrogant bystander.

"We'll deal with that problem when we get there," she shouted back, rolling her eyes as she turned to face him head on. "What about you? If you're so afraid of some 'army', then you should be the one leaving, no? If you stick around, you'll only be caught up with the rest of us."

Not that she was expecting to be caught, of course, but the humans of the Outside World seemed to be more proactive and... Well, reasonable, in a way? She didn't want to have to injure anyone who was too far under her in terms of strength, after all; that was bullying, not a match, and doing that just felt wrong.

A match, however, she wouldn't mind, but there was no way that the Outside World had something to match her if those talks were of any significant truth.

Ben froze as he was addressed. He turned to see yet another young girl.

"I- No. I'm not."

The mention of alchemy brought to mind the destructive moranth munitions used by Malazan sappers. Something he worked very hard to be as far as possible from. In his opinion, as brave and skilled as they were, every one of them had to be insane in some way.

"I'm a mage and aren't you a little bit lightly dressed for this weather?"

@Raineh Daze

— Rikers Island Prison, NYC —

With the first gunshot dozens more rang out on both sides as the situation dissolved into a giant firefight on the bridge. Flagg paused as bullets richeted off of the ground around him and shattered windows. He looked up and across the bridge in time to see the second of his prisoners drop to the ground.

This was not in the plan at all. Flagg walked briskly to one of the armoured police vehicles and climbed inside, accelerating through the police barricades and smashing through the line of vehicles and those taking cover behind them. Bullets bounced off of the vehicle and spiderwebbed the windshield but he didn't exactly need to be precise to smash through the gates with two dozen tons of steel.

The van skidded to a stop and He threw open the door.

"Get in folks. Last chance."

As the handful of convicts closest piled in he pulled a tire screeching u-turn and sped back across the bridge. This wasn't at all going as expected.

Tohka stared blankly as the Weird Armor Guy was thrown violently against a tree. He didn't look like he had suffered any serious injuries. However, she didn't know very well what to do in a situation like this. They defeated the bad guy, right? So, what more could they do?

That was when another strange person appeared talking about a lot of complicated things that Tohka also couldn't wrap her mind around. "Why everyone has to be so complicated? I don't understand anything that's happening. All I want to do is go back home and have a date with Shidou," she said in an exasperated, almost crying voice while hovering a little above the clearing as she tried to think of what she could do.

"You don't need to tell me something so evident. Any mage should be able to tell that this incident the product of some form of dimensional alteration phenomenon. I don't understand what's happening completely yet but I can see this isn't something that the TSAB dealt with in the past," Nanoha replied to Menomaru while still keeping him restrained. The knight's attempt to kill him was thankfully averted by Fate's lookalike, which meant that Nanoha didn't have to interfere with them.

Her reasoning was solid as well, however, a question came to Nanoha's mind, while she had the W.A.S. verify the truth of Menomaru's claims. "What you say may as well be true," she said to the smallest of the blondes, "However, I can't keep him like this forever. We will have to find a way to keep him under arrest. Any of your magic that can do this?"

As soon as she finished her question, Raising Heart chimed, returning the results of the search spell. Nanoha's eyes widened as she verified that, not only Menomaru's story was right, but that one of the signatures in the direction he mentioned was very well known to her.

"Vita! Can you hear me, Vita? I'm close to your location, is everything alright with you? Are you hurt; do you need help?" Nanoha asked in rapid succession, sending a message to Vita while she continued to keep an eye on the others in front of her.

Vita

It looked like the strange man had been incapacitated. If he was the perpetrator, this was going to be the end of it, in that case. Vita could get back to Hayate... She had to contact Nanoha first and tell her what had happened, since the mage had also been taken to wherever it is this was. But before she could, it seemed as if the white-clad girl had the same thought.

"I'm fine!" she began. She'd been just about to ask the same question of Nanoha, but to be honest she was a little indignant at being asked herself. Of course she was okay! "I'm just ticked off. I have no idea what's going on, but I think that I might have taken out one of the people behind it. There's some other mages here too."

The little redheaded girl let out a huff. Some other guy had shown up and started talking about the army or something. Earth's military? Why would they be getting involved here? In spite of her irritation, when she spoke to Nanoha again the concern in her voice became more clear.

"Did you have any trouble? Could you tell what happened? You're not hurt either, right?"

The moment that she finished speaking, something, some kind of fluid, was flung at her from the man she'd assumed was unconscious, striking her in the head. While the protection of her Knight's Armor deflected most of it, some of it got through---

It didn't touch her. But her hat fell softly from her head, sizzling as the acid ate away at it, burning through it.

Vita's eyes drifted down towards it, and for a scant few moments she watched it burn away. Hayate had made it for her... Hayate had...

When the redheaded girl's gaze returned to the man, her expression had become one of fury, rage burning away in her chest. He'd destroyed her hat! He'd destroyed the gift Hayate had granted her!

Eisen was swung out at to the side, the head returned to its normal size. A sharp spike erupted from the tip, as a rocket booster emerged from the rear of the mallet's head.

"Rakatenhammer!" declared the armed device.

Vita let out a scream of rage as the rocket flared to life, sending her entire body in a single rotation before her spike-tipped hammer was swung squarely down at the perpetrator!

Konpaku Youmu

It seemed as if her arrival had triggered something. Moments after Youmu had sliced the first of the men's weapons apart, they began firing. The other men she'd seen behind her had begun firing, too. The white-haired girl spun, blades flashing as she deflected each shot that came her way, some bullets simply sent off-course while others were sliced in half. The men seemed to be shocked and confused, trying to fire on the other shooters as well as the small katana-wielding girl. Darting in swiftly towards a particularly large man, Youmu ducked under his next shot before driving Hakuroken's hilt upwards and into his chin. Did she knock a tooth out? It looked like she had, watching as the muscular man collapsed onto his back with a groan...

The other men were fleeing, now. Some kind of vehicle, a car as she recalled, had pulled up and they'd piled in to escape the firefight. It only took a moment for Youmu to decide to pursue. What if they attacked her again, or went after anyone else? While her priority was returning to Yuyuko-sama, she couldn't ignore that possibility.

She broke into a sprint in pursuit of the van, steadily catching up to it as she went...

Menomaru

The girl he had previously engaged with swords with dared to look down on him in his predicament. The audacity!

Menomaru was still slightly shocked how he had been put into this situation. To think these people would have the power necessary to stand against him, even winning and leaving him in such a humiliating way. The great dog demon that had sealed him away with his father's remains was one thing. He was a powerful great demon. But these people they were not emitting anything. Yet they had the power to subdue him. It irked him to no end.

The girl with the sword spoke to him in a very unproper way to a demon of his standing. But not only that she was being rude. She was concerned about his poisonous moths and that any innocent would come in harms way. Menomaru was about to reply to her words when the girl has raised her sword and tried to kill him. Once again he couldn't believe it. That he would be beaten by a human! Strange humans with the power to rival demons. It was infathomable.

At least he would not have to suffer the humiliation of being displayed and made a laughing stock of. But the blade never landed the killing blow, it was knocked aside by an iron fan belonging to the girl who had used the ice magic to kill his moths.

She seemingly had other plans for him. How much humiliation would he be able to take? Still it gave him a chance to come back and devour their souls later. And did he hunger for their souls.

Villain? She refered to him as a villain? He was no villain. He was not a hero either. He was a conqueror and future ruler of this world. That was his destiny. The girl spoke to him as if they were in some story but she did state what Menomaru thought. That they were indeed not in their home world. Perhaps these humans were not even from his world or this one. The idea troubled him as he finally seemed to ponder abit after having gotten out of the shocklike state.

"You will need my power indeed. More than you realize." He said with narrowed eyes and then tossing a glance to the knight woman and the finely dressed boy she had saved.

"I simply desire to absorb my fathers power. Don't you seek the same? Don't you desire the power of your father? No matter what little pests get in the way." Menomaru would say, obviously hinting to the innocent people the knight had mentioned before.

The priestess, or what he thought she were had also spoken out to him. Further confirming that he was right in his previous statement of where he was. Where they all were. He could not help but feel abit of pride returning to him. Even if he were a prisoner now.
How long would her magic keep him immobilized. He remembered something that he had on his person. The sacred jewel shard. He had previously discarded it as nothing that he had any need of. But as things were going he might had to resort to something like that.

He didn't know what were more humiliating, Relying on a thing like that or be their prisoner. Either he would expand his demonic aura, taint the jewel shard and put it inside of his body to try break the seal holding him captive. Or he would bide his time and wait for a more opportune moment. Right now they were on high alert and they were outnumbering him. He had to for now hold back the urge to devour them where they stood and wait until he was alone with one of them.

Menomaru knew there were others in the city fighting. So he might be able to find a suitable servant or at least an ally.

Alberich

That fourth person had drawn the attention of two of the girls. The girl who had flung that powerful orb towards him and the girl with the flaming sword.

Wait what? One of them was courting Syd? What in the world was going on?

Alberich felt annoyed. He was interfering with his plans. The girl in red was talking to someone else though. Did she have an ally nearby? Mages? He could hear the girl moving closer as she spoke to someone who was not present. Some form of distance communication no doubt. But it gave Alberich a better estimate at how close she was. Realizing now that the levitating guy was actually aiding in his plan by keeping two of them busy. His annoyance turned into evil joy.

Listening to her coming closer and closer before he finally lunged out with his arm outstretched, the acid spraying from it towards where he thought her face was. He aimed abit too high. The girl was really short. The acid had caused her hat to get burnt away though.

Alberich quickly got up on his feet with a bloodied smirk on his lips, his legs spread to the sides as he took a hunched down sort of stance trying to stay on his feet. The girl's face had survived the spray of acid but it was mainly meant to be a distraction, a last effort to seal one of them in an amethyst.

He gasped abit in surprise, as he saw just how angry the little girl was over just losing her hat and how her hammer was transforming as his own arms spread wide to launch his own attack, his hair blowing upwards as he gathered his energy. Before unleashing the Amethyst sealed attack again. Sending those jagged shards the size of a forearm, towards the redclad girl who was now right in his line of fire.

But she was quick. Alberich knew that. And being hit by that hammer would hurt alot. Even moreso now with it's changed appearance. It could possibly cut down a couple of the shards he would send her way, but her weapon wasn't a shield. She would surely not be able to reach him and be sealed midway through it. He didn't have his flaming sword now, but it didn't matter. He had not been able to hold unto it against her powerful weapon. His last chance was in this attack. He had to seal her quickly before the others would have noticed what was going on and sprung into action.

Then he could play on their goodnatured spirit to get what he wanted. Have them swear allegiance to him in return for freeing the redclad girl. They were surely the types to always keep a promise. And he was the type to always exploit other peoples weaknesses. Victory by any means necessary. No matter how cheap the tactic would be.

Alberich was heavily outnumbered but if he could just get this attack to seal her away then he could win the battle by bargaining with the rest.

Emilio

"Aha? Emilio Michaelov, of the army's psychiccer squad. Heh. Do you know of me big sister?"

Emilio's eyes assumed a sleepy narrowed eye look to them as he floated midair watching the various people around after having spoken to Tenshi.

"I don't have any order to capture neither of you. So what to do?" He lifted his right arm in a shrug-like motion and the palm of his gloved hand facing the sky above. His attention went from Tenshi to Tohka. "Why are you close to crying? I cannot bear to watch it. Shidou huh?"

Emilio hovered calmly midair. "I am looking for someone too. A girl. Patricia. Let us go look together shall we sister?" While waiting for her reply he threw a glance to Vita who was approaching the seemingly knocked out guy.

"Mages? So you are human. I see, I see." His ghostly violet eyes followed Vita with interest.

"Red... is such a beautiful color." His facial expression looked pleased but as soon as he saw her hat and overall design of clothing his eyes twitched.

"My head... hurts.. where have I seen this... hat... braid...skirt..." Emilio grabbed unto his head with both his hands.

He snaps out of his thoughts as he sees a spray of acid coming directly towards Vita. The guy on the ground had shot it from one of his bracers and was now trying some attack against the girl who reminded him of Wendy.

A girl whom had acted as a big sister to him 2 years ago. But after his brainwashing by Wong had been made to forget about.
A sense of uncertainty washed over him. Uncertain how to handle this odd feeling. There was someone important who looked like that. If he only could remember. Some part of him was screaming out to attack the man who attacked her but another was telling him to ignore the feeling alltogether. He decided to look away to Tenshi and Tohka.

Cagliostro

"Asterios... that is a good, strong name as befitting a nice lad like yourself." Patting the Servant on his knee due to the fact that was all she could really reach, the alchemist quirked an eyebrow as the boy named Leonardo Watch went running out as the sounds of something akin to an airship's propeller working over time was heard in the distance. "Hmph, I've no idea what a New York is and the very air feels strange... barren even. No energy at all." Blinking once and letting her eyes SEE the world in ways that no mortals could hope to comprehend, the girl stared... and saw that the Berserker was like a deflating balloon, the strange energies composing his very being all but evaporating at a noticeable speed. "...Boy, you are disappearing." Glaring up at the giant, the immortal waited for an explanation as she tried to conjecture on what was happening.

Mordred

For a few moments, the blonde knight simply seethed with rage. Why had her temporary Master stopped her from killing the bound moth man? He clearly didn't care who he destroyed in the process of attempting to become powerful. He obviously was willing to murder completely innocent people for the sake of becoming strong. No matter what else Mordred felt, she was a knight and a knight did not do such things. Nor did she allow them. However, Evangeline seemed to think that they might need him for something. What, she had no clue. The whole situation pissed her off. She'd been looking forward to splitting his head with a single swipe from Clarent ever since they'd started fighting. But now it looked like they had to let him off the hook for now.

This was nothing compared to what happened next, though.

The moment the son of a bitch stopped speaking, Mordred's had snapped out, her gauntlet-clad fist slamming into the moth man's face with the resounding crash of metal on flesh. She quickly moved her hand down to snatch the front of clothing and pull him forward and down slightly, leaning in until they were face-to-face.

"If you even mention my Father again," she said, her voice practically a snarl, "Nothing in this world or the next is gonna be able to stop me from killing you!"

The girl's entire body was shaking slightly from anger. Perhaps it could be said that, although she'd never admit it, her anger towards her Father had lessened in its severity since her second summoning. But this bastard daring to mention Father, daring to say she'd kill innocent people for that cause, daring to even talk about Father...

No matter what her temporary Master said or did next, if he insisted on talking about Father again after this she would make sure no-one would ever recognize the body.

Vita

Eisen's head bit into the dirt, the pointed burying itself in the earth. But this wasn't enough to stop Vita. Just missing wouldn't stop her. If anything it only made her angrier. As if in response to her anger, Eisen's head once more swelled, the spiked tip vanishing as it simply became gigantic. It wasn't hard for something to be larger then the redheaded girl's diminutive frame, but the fact that was was now wielding a hammer easily bigger then her certainly said something.

"Giganthammer!" declared the armed device, as Vita rent a tear through the ground with a shout of fury. She didn't know what he was doing. Some kind of ranged attack? She didn't care. She'd smash right through it. Raising Eisen like a battering ram, using its enormous head, the tiny, enraged mage rocketed forward. Eisen shattered gems as it crashed through them, but all that was on Vita's mind was how she was going to make this guy pay for destroying her hat.

Really, you would think that someone reliant upon you for their very existence would show more restraint than to threaten murder regardless of what you did. If the girl was this hot-headed, it was no wonder that someone such as King Arthur would have refused to make them the heir. Violent tempers just didn't make for good rulers in the long term. Though maybe he'd be more co-operative after having some sense beaten into his head.

Though the actual child seemed to be distracted, there was a simple answer to her question: "If I wasn't expending all of my magic on supporting these two, I could freeze him. Our only choice now is to keep him or around or kill him."

"No Master... no magic," Asterios stated, not really being the Servant that one would want to ask for an explanation of such a thing. Most Servants probably didn't have an in-depth understanding of the exact mechanics--just that a spiritual body, itself entirely composed of mana, would take more to keep anchored in the world and that this would only increase the more active they were. Of course, the magic making up their bodies had nothing on the sheer power of their souls--but that was exactly what the bodies prevented from disappearing right away.

Already, the boy that had lead them here was running off for some reason. That was... unfortunate, and somewhat confusing. What was the rush?

A mage and not an alchemist? What was the difference? "But... alchemists cast spells as well." There was definitely alchemy going on to power the spells, though that seemed to be more noticeable with Carol than with the more recent groups... really, what was the difference? If Elfnein had been here, she could have explained it--even the Commander or Chris would have had a better idea, she was certain. Though the "mage" had once again drawn attention to her embarrassing lack of clothing. "Eheheh, I was sleeping and then when I woke up I was here. I can't contact anyone, either."

Shokuhou Misaki

The sudden influx of JSDF personnel and policemen milling about soon after Misaki began looking around caused her a bit of headache, seeing as how controlling people wasn't particularly subtle if they moved about in groups. Ideally, of course, she would get through this entire mess without having to use her ability, but that in turn would mean that her plan would have to go off without a hitch. Probability dictated that the chance of such a thing occurring was fairly low, but at this point she had no choice but to try to work around that issue.

It wasn't long until the young woman came across a police box, luckily enough. There seemed to be a few officers inside, and even with the current situation they seemed to be far less anxious than half of the people that she saw on the way here. Granted, the officers ALSO seemed a bit on edge, but at the moment it was a bit out of Misaki's worries to figure out the exact reason for as to why. With a slight cough to clear her throat, Misaki cautiously walked up to the door of the installation and, after a moment of hesitation, knocked.

A policeman soon came to open the door, and it took him a moment to noticed that it was Misaki who had done so. The young woman noted that said officer had a look that said he half-wanted to turn her away so he could keep up with the situation and half-wanted to hear her out in order to take his mind off of the issue, which was... Fair, all things considered, but she already had one foot in the door at this point and was wont to stop now.

"Um... Excuse me, but I was on my way home when all that chaos in the city broke out. The area's currently blocked off, and I'm a little worried about trying to move about the streets at the moment. If you don't mind, would I be allowed to stay here until things calm down a little?" Misaki said, bowing her head as she hoped the lies she had spun wouldn't be prodded too deeply.

As things turned out, her worries were somewhat unfounded, and the policeman calmly led her inside to take a seat.

"Ah... Yeah, sorry about that, little miss. To be frank, all I know is that there's been talk of this possibly being a terrorist attack, but I'm not so sure of that myself. We'll make sure you'll stay safe until this all blows over," he said, a small smile on his face as he nodded to her before moving back to sit with a few other policemen at a nearby table. "In the meantime, uh... Make yourself comfortable."

The young woman walked inside and, with a smile, thanked the old police officer before taking a seat. Given everything that had occurred so far, this was a far cry from 'safety', but at the very least she could figure out some more plans for the future from here on out.

"Hm... Well, I guess this is where I need to start thinking about how to get into a better position. As things stand, I still need a home..."

Leonardo Watch

"Oh, thank goodness it's still functioning," Leo said, letting out a sigh of relief as he walked through the turnstile to the inside of the subway station he was at. There were a lot of things that didn't quite add up, but right now it was of the utmost priority to get a train to where he needed to go.

It didn't take long for one to arrive, of course, and the young man quickly slipped in among the mostly-oblivious crowd and silently waited for the train to bring him to his destination. Sonic was, of course, hiding inside of his jacket, and though he was squirming about a little because of the pressure he didn't seem to be in any particular pain.

"Sorry, sorry. I'll get you some ice cream later to make up for this, I swear," he said quietly as the train finally arrived at the stop he needed to get to. Without a moment's delay, the young man let loose a bunch of 'excuse me's and 'pardon me's and he exited the subway and began to dash to exit the station. Once he had left, Leo took a quick glance up to confirm that the helicopters were still flying in the direction he thought they were before following after one. He was, of course, a little out of breath and wished that he had his usual moped, but something like that was less of an issue right now.

It wasn't long until Leo came across a wooden police barricade, with the faint sounds of gunshots being fired in the distance. Gritting his teeth as Sonic crawled its way back onto his shoulder, Leo looked left and right to see that there weren't as many policemen as he expected guarding the area. Most, he assumed, were holding whatever it was over there back, which meant that now was a good a time as any to try and break through.

"Sonic, can I ask you to distract those policemen so I can get through?" the young man asked, to which the monkey responded with a wary glance and a shrug of its shoulders. "I'll give you a double scoop if you do."

At that, the monkey's eyes seemed to light up, and at once it bounded off to go cause a bit of havoc. Given how it was actually invisible to the normal human eye, it wasn't long before the few officers guarding the area were looking around trying to chase the monkey that stole their weapons. With a nod, Leonardo broke into a sprint and jumped over the blockade before continuing on further ahead. It was here, of course, that he saw something that felt... Well, a bit more normal to him, in a way.

A bridge leading to the prison, and a girl whose speed was on par with Chain's dashing down it to catch a van...

"Mmm... I can't just back out now, can I?" he sighed as he continued on, slowly chasing after the girl as Sonic made its way over to where he was and started causing a bit of a distraction to let him through. "I really hope I'm not in over my head here..."

Hinanawi Tenshi

"Emilio, Emilio... Nope, haven't heard of you. Though, well, I haven't exactly been here long enough to learn anyone's name or any famous groups, to be honest," the Celestial said, shrugging towards the young man floating above her head as the sound of the blue-haired girl's wavering voice got her attention. With a slight frown, Tenshi walked over and patted her on the back in an attempt to comfort her. She was almost certain it really wouldn't do anything, but at this point it was better than nothing. She was never really "good" at dealing with humans, after all, but Celestials... Something something guidance was all she could remember about that lecture, honestly, and if she at least did this maybe she could check off her quote for the week or something.

"It'll be fine, don't worry," she said as the sound of a very angry child pulled her attention towards the man who she thought was mostly out for the count. Her eyes widened as the hammer grew well beyond the scope of what was ordinary. The sight of it reminded her of the little kobito a while back, but Tenshi frowned as she noticed that the man was trying to pull another one of his weird crystal attacks out at point blank.

"Mmm... This should make it, right?" she asked herself as she slammed the Sword of Hisou into the ground, causing a series of rocks to pop up from the ground before ultimately shooting out and attempting to restrain both of the combatants. She wasn't particularly in the mood to see a giant splatter of blood here, nor was she wont to let a temporary ally get hurt out of negligence, but at the very least if she could disarm the two of them then maybe this whole matter could just be resolved.

Then maybe some tea was in order.

It was at this point, though, that a few Japanese men armed with machine guns broke through the forest and aimed their weapons at the group. With a sidelong glance, Tenshi let her sword disappear before calmly turning to face the people who had arrived.

"Is that it, then? I would rather talk this out than fight, you know," she stated haughtily, hoping to try and intimidate the soldiers that had arrived on the scene. "But if you're asking for a fight, I'd be happy to oblige."

"No, no, that won't be necessary," responded an older man, holding one hand in the air as he walked forward. "I would rather not waste precious ammunition if you can be talked with—particularly so if you can cause this much damage to the Imperial Palace's surroundings. The others, however..."

At the same time that the law enforcement had arrived at the castle, another squadron of troops arrived where Eva and the others were, guns primed as they stared down the group.

"We calmly request that you surrender here, as we cannot guarantee your safety here otherwise," a voice blared of from a megaphone as a group of soldiers surrounded the group. "I repeat: we calmly request..."

"I'm alright, Vita, don't worry. I'll meet you as soon as I'm done with the incident I've been caught in," Nanoha replied to the short-tempered knight before turning her attention back to the matters at hand.

"I think that we have no options about how to deal with him until we can find some physical restraints, then," Nanoha replied to Eva's comment about their choices at this moment before pointing Raising Heart at Menomaru once again. "I have recorded his magical signature. There's no way that he can go far enough, anyway. Raising Heart, please!"

"Bind off!" The intelligent device said as it released Menomaru from his locks.

"Try anything and I'll knock you out for good this time. Until we find a solution to this incident, I'll be taking you into custody under the authority of the Time and Space Administration Bureau. This is the one and only warning you'll have," Nanoha warned Menomaru just as the sound of a human's voice blaring through a megaphone called their attention.

"Is that the TS—the JSDF? How did they get inside of the barrier?" Nanoha said surprised before taking a step forward in the direction of the soldier. "I'm Nanoha Takamachi, an agent of the Time and Space Administration Bureau, born here in Japan. This is not a situation that you can handle on your own. In the name of the TSAB's authority over magical related incidents, I'll have to ask you to get to a safe zone before we can continue talking," she added in a loud and clear voice.

Menomaru

The gauntlet of the blond knight woman had slammed into his face and left a bruised look on it. Menomaru let out a slight grunt and his head fell forwards abit. It didn't hurt him as much as it appeared to do. He was a great demon. He didn't react to pain in the same way a human would do, but the punch itself had force. Enough to send ripples of force through his body and that he could indeed feel.

The young woman was hotheaded. It would have appeared like he hit a nerve mentioning her father. She was very emotional, Menomaru may have been subdued and was at their mercy but he was now learning of weaknesses he could exploit later when he finally would take revenge for this humiliation.

I will enjoy devouring your soul later girl after I have humiliated and destroyed you for daring to do this to me. He mused inside his head. The apparant leader of the group seemed to toy with the idea of keeping him a prisoner or kill him. An indecisive arrogant little thing. She wouldn't evade his wrath either once he had gotten out of here and had allies of his own. They would all pay and they would pay dearly, perhaps he would spare the young boy just to question him before consuming his soul or use him as bait.

Then there was the priestess girl as he believed her to be. Menomaru realized he had been wrong about her perhaps wrong about all of them.He did not detect any demonic aura from either them nor their weapons, yet nontheless their weapons and powers were more than human. Even strong enough to stand against someone as great as he was.

This weapon. Raising Heart. It had seemingly a will of it's own to some degree. It was the weapon. It was the accursed weapon which her power likely emmenated from. It wasn't her power but the power of that weapon of hers. It now made sense, these people were being empowered by their equipment. Could the weapons be of a sacred nature like the sacred jewel shard he carried with him?

He had been set free from the seal, the shackles which kept him caged. He could feel his magic returning to him. He slowly raised up on his feet. "Hmm..."

The young priestess girl spoke to him as if she were the hand of some god, and she would make him into her prisoner.

Either way. Menomaru knew that trying to get away from them now were not an easy task, but he also thought better of it. That if he were to stay with them until the right moment, he might just be able to pry Raising Heart from the girl. Perhaps even threaten her to part with it.

What some humans would do to save defenseless others of their kind. Her weapon was a dangerous one, he had seen it's power even if he had been able to avoid some of it. It was still a thing too dangerous to overlook. If he could not wield it himself, then he had to destroy it.

He snapped out of his thoughts as he heard a loud voice. As if spoken through a large horn. Then a group of humans by the look of it wielding firearms that Menomaru had never seen before surrounded them. Nanoha Takamachi. I will destroy you with your own weapon later. He looked to the armed humans. So we are in Japan.

For now he would play along with their plan. Perhaps these other humans would begin to fight against them. During such a shootout he had an opportune moment to pry Raising Heart from the girl. Then he could use that weapons powers to subdue the rest.

@KoL@Raineh Daze@VitaVitaAR@Rin

Alberich

She cannot defeat me with her powers. Hehehe. Hm? He set his eyes on the smaller girl and saw how her weapon changed it's shape.

"Impossible!" Alberich gasped as he saw the little angry girl in red proceeded through his amethyst shards, shattering them as her tiny form was provided with enough cover.

She was actually using that weapon as a shield against his amethyst shards and coming straight for him. His eyes widened but before he could stop using his attack and try to dodge out of the way, the sound of the ground would catch his attention as rocks began to fly out of it to restrain him where he stood.

"What?!" He struggled to break free using his arms and legs causing his Amethyst sealed attack to cancel itself, it would stop sending shards towards the girl in red. But to no avail he was stuck, and before he could try and use Nature Unity to break free he heard some more people approaching and decided that there was little point in fighting back now.

"I surrender."

Emilio

Having gotten no reply from Tohka, he shrugged softly then Emilio turned to Tenshi which drove her sword into the ground, interupting the fight between Alberich and Vita. "Ooh?" Emilio tilted his head to the side before smiling and then looked back to Tenshi before turning his sights on the military men that came upon the scene.

"Eeh?" He landed on the ground just abit behind Tenshi and walked forwards looking to the soldiers, memorizing where they were and how many there was before he set his eyes on Tenshi again she was speaking to what appeared to be their commander.

"Why making such a scary face, big sister? Heheh.." Emilio laughed softly as if to himself as he stepped even closer, looking directly over to the commander now. "Did Director Wong send you? He really wants that Patricia girl doesn't he?"

He placed his hand against his face, dragging his fingers down it abit before saying out loud. "Let us go shall we?" Emilio stepped up beside Tenshi turning his head to look her directly into her eyes. "With the army. Heh heh heh."

— Tokyo —

He shook his head.

"Not where I come from. Alchemists mix chemicals, dangerously. I stay away from that stuff as much as possible."

Quick Ben removed his burgundy and grey raincloak, identical to those worn by the Malazan marines, and held it out to her. Perhaps this approach would be better than the last one.

"I've become isolated as well. Even the Warrens, the places I draw my power from, seem bereft of their gods. For once I'm lost for a possible direction to take. Do you know the name of this city, at least?"

@Raineh Daze

— NYC Streets —

The heavy vehicle wasn't particularly fast but with its sheer size and the wailing sirens ensured that any other vehicles kept well out of his way. Nevertheless, tires squealed and the people in the back tumbled about as he took corners at high speed. The way he drove was reckless, ignoring the mirrors to lean out and look behind them.

"So much for a clean getaway."

Flagg flicked a finger, sending a row of parked cars tumbling into the street. A heartbeat later the van careened through a corner onto a wider street. And everything came to a screeching halt at the three bloack radius that the NYPD had cordoned off around the entrance to Rikers island. This man had places to be and it would be far too much trouble to have to toss this many cars out of his way.

"I should have stolen one of those damn boats."

At least then he wouldn't have a crazy girl chasing after him with a katana. At least she had some sort of conscience but whoever heard of a Gunslinger with a sword? Well, Arthur Eld had one but it wasn't exactly around any more.

He threw open the door with such force that it was torn from the vehicle and smashed into a car down the street. Flagg plunged into the crowd at a fast walk, his not inconspicuously dressed companions drawing a great deal of attention along the way. His next fasted way out of Queens would the subway station on 31st street.

The JSDF. The JSDF. As if she had needed more confirmation that this obviously wasn't her own world, the self defence forces had blindly stumbled into things making assurances of their safety... rather threatening assurances. Some that were completely unnecessary; Evangeline had needed no authority to ensure her longevity, and she wasn't about to entrust it--or this brat that seemed determined to find a grave today--to those whose magical experience was entirely composed of card tricks.

"Frigerans Exarmatio," the blonde girl said, the simple incantation taking effect in a quick and harmless burst of elemental magic--in the hands of the various soldiers all around, the burst of ice knocking the guns out of their hands. "If you cannot even resist something such as this, your assurances are meaningless. Now, if you would leave this matter to us..."

The offered coat was gladly accepted--it might not fit properly, nor was it going to keep her completely warm, but it was a good sight better than standing around in summer pyjamas hoping to not get even colder. His explanation of the differences made things even less clear, or maybe he was just from somewhere that wasn't used to science? Because all he seemed to be describing were normal chemists... which definitely weren't the same as alchemists, who were the only people aside from Fine that Hibiki had seen use magical abilities like that. The bald man didn't seem like an ancient priestess...

But at least she could answer the question about the city, that was clear enough from the various signs and notices: "We're in Tokyo."

Mordred

Mordred gave Menomaru one last, long glare before tossing him to the ground. She didn't care what her temporary, substitute Master said. If that bastard brought up her Father again, she'd kill him. After everything else he'd done, or tried to do, bringing up her Father was just the icing on the cake. She didn't see how he deserved anything but death to be frank, but for now she'd control herself. For now. Besides... the local armed forces appeared to have shown up.

The blonde knight folded her arms, cocking her head to the side. Assurances of safety? Like they could do a damn thing. In fact, that was confirmed to her when the child vampire used what little magical power she had to disarm them in an instant. Her anger cooling a little, though her irritation at the intervention of these soldiers mounting, she stepped forward.

"Look, you're just plain outmatched," she began, unfolding her arms and shrugging, "You wanna guarantee our safety, huh? There's not a damn thing you could do. What kind of morons are you to think you could handle that?"

Mordred gave the soldiers a rather sharp grin.

"You should just take it easy and let us take care of it. Go back home and be proud of the fact you met a true knight, that's the only job you can handle now!"

Vita

As Vita was closing in, preparing to crush the man with her hammer... suddenly there were boulders. Immense stones blocking her way, all around her. For only a moment, her momentum ceased. Where had they come from!? Who had stopped her!? Quaking, and with an angry shout, she raised her hammer and brought it down once. Then twice. She wouldn't just let these rocks get in the way! She'd pound that guy into the dirt until there was nothing left!

The only thing that would eventually distract her somewhat, even as the rock in front of her started to crumble, was the arrival of the JSDF.

"This is official TSAB business!" she snapped, finally brought out of her anger, if only for a moment. At least, enough for her desire to kill the man to fade. Just a bit.

@PKMNB0Y@KoL@Dezuel

Konpaku Youmu

One of the metal things, a car if Youmu recalled correctly, suddenly came careening towards her. There were people inside. A little girl in the back seat opposite to her

She had to stop. She couldn't just allow those people to die. Raising Roukanken, she shifted the blade so that the flat pointed towards the vehicle and braced it in both hands.

Seconds later, the car slammed into her, the side of the vehicle slamming into the youkai-forged blade. The impact jolted Youmu's small frame, sending the short half-phantom skidding back across the street with a yelp as pain shot up both arms. But Roukanken held fast, and eventually both the girl and the car came to a halt, the vehicle rocking gently as it did.

She had dented the side of the car, but otherwise everyone inside looked fine, albeit certainly frightened and confused.

Leonardo Watch

Leo watched from a short distance away as the van blasted straight through the area, the helicopters hovering overhead quickly moving off to follow suit. While that on its own wasn't as noteworthy, the young man was wont to take a few steps to the side as he watched the white-haired girl block a car that had been flung at her. While the fact that the car was flung in the first place was reason enough to think that enough oddities were occurring in the area, the fact that the young woman had manage to stop it without attacking it made it more than obvious that she wasn't the aggressor here. At the same time, whoever the heck was driving that van earlier would probably abuse the fact that she wasn't going to try to harm anyone, but even putting that aside...

"Hey! I don't know who you are, but I'll help these people out here! You go chase after that van before whoever's driving that thing can cause more problems!" Leo shouted out as he ran over, quickly looking over the car's exterior once he arrived. The driver, an older man, was attempting to push his way past the airbag. Though everyone looked to be fine, the fact that there was enough force to launch the car in the first place meant that the possibility of there being underlying injuries, like concussions.

Well, that and the fact that the side of the car that had been hit was also caved it, making it damn near impossible to exist from that side.

Hinanawi Tenshi

"Hey, killing people isn't an end-all be-all to your problems, you know..." Tenshi sighed, watching as the girl in red continued bashing away at her rocks to try and get a crack at their already-restrained target. The fact that she had at least calmed down to the point where she wasn't consumed by murderlust was a momentary respite, but it seemed like it'd take a lot more to rein her in.

"Er... Excuse me, but... TSAB? I've never heard of such an organization in my life," the older man said, looking at Vita in a bit of confusion before turning towards the young man who had come down from the air. "Nor have I ever heard of any 'Director Wong', young man. I don't believe that there are any Chinese officials in office, anyhow..."

As he trailed off again, the older man shook his head and looked back at the group of misfits, the gears turning in his head as he attempted to find the easiest solution for this... Mess. The fact that they had already decided to stand down gave him more than enough of a break to begin negotiations, though...

"In any case, may I request that you come with me to somewhere a bit less... Public? With things as they are now, I fear it won't be long before news of this incident becomes widespread and the nation goes into a panic."

"Hm... Alright, I guess," Tenshi shrugged, letting her shoulders relax before stepping forward. "But I find it very disrespectful to have not introduced myself, just as I find it very disrespectful that you have not done the same. Hinanawi Tenshi, heir to the Hinanawi clan."

"Captain Yamazaki Mamoru of the JSDF. Now, if you would kindly..."

"Yes, of course. But remember—if you try anything, I cannot guaranteed your safety. You or anyone else here."

With a slight glare, Tenshi stomped on the ground, causing the earth underneath their sword-wielding captive to shoot up and bring him to a standing position. His hands were, of course, still locked by makeshift handcuffs, but for all intents and purposes he was disarmed. The stones, too, around the red-clad girl sank back into the ground, though the Celestial kept a wary eye trained on her as she did so. Beating up a defenseless enemy—much less killing one—was absolutely no good in her books, after all.

With their weapons still at the ready, the Captain and the JSDF soldiers began to escort the group over to an armored van, the sight of which caused Tenshi to balk.

"Could I ask you to step inside, ple—"
"Inside that uncomfortable looking thing? I absolutely refuse. Give me one of those comfy seats in the front!"
"I'm afraid I can't do that, Ms. Hinanawi. There's protocol that we have—"
"I don't care about your protocol, I am not sitting in that uncomfortable looking thing. It's either a comfy seat or I walk to wherever you're planning to bring us. Or fly. Flying works, too."

Suppressing a sigh of exhaustion, Captain Yamazaki walked off to the side for a moment and began to rapidly speak to someone over his earpiece before nodding.

"We can arrange a civilian vehicle to drive you over, then. Would that be preferable?"
"Very much so."
"Then may I ask if I may ask you some questions before we move over? My superiors wish to speak with you, but more context on the current situation would be greatly appreciated."

Without waiting for a response, Tenshi shrugged her shoulders and nodded.

"I do not mind. Ask away."

"Thank you. Now... First and foremost... You name, place of origin, and... Whether or not you plan to cause any harm to the people of this city—not, nation. Above all else, we want to know your stance on this."

"You know my name already, do you not? But placing that aside... My homeland is Gensokyo—more specifically, Heaven, of course. As for causing any harm... I do not wish to, but you certainly know my stance already."

The soldiers near the other point, though, ended up at a loss as their weapons were blown out of their hands and the three that were present began deriding them. While most of the soldiers remained somewhat calm despite the absurd scenario, one soldier—nearest to the group, unluckily enough, broke formation and took a few steps forward. After a moment of hesitation, the soldier—a young woman—took off her helmet to get a better look at the group. As if her suspicions were confirmed, the soldier paused for a moment before beginning to speak.

"H-hold on. A-are you actually Takamachi Nanoha? As in, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Nanoha? That one? The one who—"

"What are you doing, Private Minami?! Get back into formation!" one of the soldiers called out, to which the young woman shook her head.

"I want to verify something first," she responded, knowing full well that some superior would likely have her head over this insubordination. "But... Right, am I correct, then? The TSAB, as far as I know, is just a fictional thing here, but with that magic just now... That can't just be cosplay. No way it can just be cosplay..."

Menomaru

Things was not going according to plan. Not one bit. Irritation further building inside of him as the armorclad woman finally let go of him. The young girl with the ice magic had thrown the soldiers firearms out of their hands. With such ease too.

If she could do this to them she could probably do it to him aswell. Just how strong was this girl? Menomaru gritted his teeth in displeasure.

The women had all begun to tell the gathered soldiers that they've should leave matters to them. They were right though, there was not much these few soldiers could actually do in terms of safeguarding them.

They were human most surely. But he was no longer a hundred percent certain. The last few moments had been truly tumbling. One thing was certain though, if he would stay with these violent girls he would end up dead or sealed away permanently. That he could not allow.

It didn't look like the soldiers were going to fight them. So Menomaru could not take the moment and act. One of the soldiers had however identified the Nanoha girl as a lyrical magical girl?

Cosplay? What is that? Some lesser form of magic no doubt. He considered his options carefully. He couldn't fight them all off and come out on top. He couldn't either take one of those humans present as a hostage, the girl with the ice magic would disarm him of his sword or that Raising Heart weapon.

Wait. That's it! He has to let these humans take him prisoner and lock him up. That would grant him an easier way to escape and perhaps twist their leader into doing his bidding.
Humans are easily persuaded to do as one wishes when presented with promises of power. He could hand their leader the sacred jewel shard which would in turn make that human much stronger than the rest and possibly capable of holding up against maybe the girl in the heavy armor in terms of speed, strength and endurance. A possible little servant to do his bidding. Greed can be a powerful ally indeed.

Then he could have their entire soldier force annihilate these girls whom had humiliated him. Surely in great numbers they could be of some use. And these girls were indeed not keen on harming innocents. Perfect. That's what he needed to do. In the worst case the girls would fight and free him, or in the best case he would be taken to the human leader.

It was now or never. Menomaru sheathed his sword and pretended to look around at the various soldiers in surprise, stepping backwards enough to present his back to one of the soldiers. Giving that one a perfect opportunity to take him captive. Now all he had to do was to wait for the soldiers to take initiative. If these girls were going to fight the soldiers against his capture, they would be chased all over this overgrown town and lit the entire place ablaze.

The very idea amused Menomaru. These girls were indeed strong, but they were behind him in matters concerning intelligence, of this he was certain. Their show of weakness in not killing him when they had the chance will surely come back to haunt them dearly. The moment when Menomaru would drain the life out of every living thing in this entire city would be a moment he would relish. The moment when the girls realize what their weakness had brought about on those very people they've seemed to care so much about.

Alberich and Emilio

Emilio tapped his chin with a finger and looked abit surprised and pondersome at Captain Yamazaki. "You don't know Wong? I guess you must be part of the regular army and low ranked. Can you get in contact with the commander?"Meanwhile Alberich looked down to his custom made handcuffs. These bonds. Don't underestimate the brain of Asgard. These won't hold me. But no use in fighting back now. Let them believe they've got me.
"My sword." Alberich said out plainly with a cold tone to his voice as he made his way over towards the armored van, glancing slightly to the side where it was stuck in the ground.

At that Emilio had moved over to pick up the odd crystal sword from the ground, lifting it up and looking it over. It was cool to the touch and felt like a very odd weapon to him. The flaming power was dormant as he held it.

"Such a strange sword." He said and made his way over towards the van with it.

Alberich threw a cold stare with his eyes to the slightly taller young man passing by him with his crystal-like sword. "That sword belongs to my god robe! I am a god warrior of Asgard! I demand to speak with your representative. Are you prepared to ignite a holy war with my country?"
"A war? Is that really bad?" Emilio tilted his head to the side looking Alberich over after carelessly throwing the crystal sword into the back of the armored truck. Alberich was about to reply when he saw that Emilio had already turned around and stepped up to Captain Yamazaki.

"Gensokyo. I don't know it. Heaven? Are you an angel big sister?" Emilio's eyes scanned Tenshi for a moment before he turned to the captain. "Captain. Heh..heh." Emilio offered a slight chuckle which might also be considered to have been a giggle. "Emilio Michaelov of the army psychiccer squad." He pondered slightly. "Origin? Hnghn!" He held unto his head slightly with one of his hands as something was close to being recalled, something important but he shaked the unpleasant feeling off.

"The army. I guess Wong would know. Causing harm to people? Who knows?" Emilio gave a shrug and then looked to Yamazaki with his violet eyes. "Are you going to pick on me?" Emilio stepped to the side placing a hand by his waist and lowered his mouth and chin down into his collared vest as his eyes darted slightly to the side to Alberich walking forwards.

"I am Delta star, Megrez Alberich. God warrior of Asgard. These women were following and spying on me before stepping out to challenge me. Then this chibi joined in their favor in attacking me." Alberich threw a narrowed eyed glance over his shoulder towards Vita. "I have no interest in harming the people of this city or nation unless they get in my way like these people have." He answered in a cold way, almost devoid of any emotion. He saw little use in killing people who would be better kept alive to bow to him in worship or serve him once his usurption has been complete. If he somehow could not return to Asgard and kill Polaris Hilda then he would have to begin elsewhere with his quest for world domination. This place would then have to do.

Given some time he was certain he could force at least some of these people into serving his goals. By any means necessary to attain victory. The young man called Emilio however seemed unstable. A dangerous thing. Alberich knew that his kind would not be wise to trust or even be near if one valued life. Whilst the young man had indirectly aided in keeping some of his attackers distracted, he had not openly aided him in the fight so he was not to be considered an ally by any means.

Speaking of which Emilio turned and looked to Tenshi, Yamazaki and Alberich. "Oh that's right! Are you with that teleporting guy?" He paused for a moment. "I saw him moving really quick to the west of here from roof to roof. I wonder who he was chasing. Heh..heh..." Emilio turned slightly and pointed to Vita. "I also saw that girl and followed her here."

Alberich would have moved over to the armored truck unless stopped on the way.

That answer... really wasn't. Sure, it answered the question he'd asked directly but it had been foolish of him to not ask something more meaningful. Maybe he was still reeling from finding himself in such an alien place, cut off from everything he had known before. A fresh world, startlingly bereft of any overt magic or any races he knew of so far. No blue skinned Napans, muscled Barghest or towering Toblekai. Aside from himself the overwhelming majority of people here all looked so similar and ordinary. Neither did there seem to be anyone bearing any kind of weapons around.

"Tokyo, I see now. We both seem to be in the same sort of situation although you strike me as being more at home than I am."

Truthfully this was far from the first time Quick Ben had ended up in a strange place but usually he had some sort of ally to rely on. Someone backing him, either mortal of divine.

"I think that first I should find something to eat and then maybe somewhere to stay for the night."

— NYC Streets —

Flagg and his cohorts pushed through the crowd. Their obvious prison uniforms and brandished weapons easily cleared the sidewalk ahead of them but did little to help them pass unnoticed. Fortunately the bulk of the police force was occupied in the still ongoing firefight in the battle for Rikers island.

Still, it was inevitable that the group came across an officer on patrol. Flagg waved his hand and the man flew into a wall with a crunch of shattered bones. That really got people moving. Once the general population realizes that their protectors are powerless it takes very little to push them into a state of mindless terror.

He picked up the pace and even above the sounds of panic the sounds his cowboy boots made on the sidewalk heralded his approach.

"Keep moving folks. I've got a lunch date at a certain tower."

Soon enough the entrance to the subway station he had been moving towards came into view as the crowd that he herded ahead of him moved past it.

“Uh… Lyrical Nanoha… cosplay? How do you even know anything about the TSAB and magic?” Nanoha cocked her head and crossed her arms as a puzzled expression stamped her face. She was utterly baffled at how this incident was getting weirder at every moment. However, after the excited soldier finished her spiel something clicked in her head.

“W-wait, did the copy of those movies we sent to Suzuka, Alice, and my family leaked to the internet? It can only be that,” Nanoha thought out loud. “And we told them to be careful. Earth is not yet ready to join the TSAB,” she continued to digress for a few more moments before shrugging her shoulder and accepting the situation as it was. The damage had already been done, she might as well try to keep it to the minimum possible.

“Mhmm… Private Minami, is it?” Nanoha said, testing if she got the name of the soldier who addressed her right. “I’m sure that we will have enough time to discuss this later. For now, your squad has to clear this area. We have arrested a dangerous individual and are in the process of deciding how to keep him until we can find a safer prison. Even if you are soldiers, normal people like you are in danger if you stay this clos—” Nanoha’s explanation went down the drain when Menomaru began to behave in strange ways. Before she could even assess his intentions, he was already… giving himself for arrest?

“Stop right there, or I’ll have to use force against you once again! You’ll not place any more lives at risk, do you hear me?” Something in this had to be wrong. It was obviously some kind of ploy on his part and Nanoha wasn’t willing to take the risk. If the verbal warning wasn’t enough, she had Raising Heart ready to fire at a moment’s notice.

Konpaku Youmu

Youmu nodded, before leaping up and over the vehicle and proceeding on her chase. She felt a little guilt at the fact that there wasn't much she could do to help those people... but stopping those rampaging men was more urgent when there was someone else who could help! Her shoes clacking as they hit the hard, stony ground. That looked like the same vehicle she had been in pursuit of! ... But it was sitting still and empty. Up ahead there were a lot of people moving out of the way or something... and then it became clear what was happening when she saw someone go flying through the air and hit a wall. The white-haired girl resumed her chase, and in moments the men came into view once more.

Of course, she was expecting a fight, and was already prepared... but there were an awful lot of people here. Even if the danmaku wouldn't harm them, Youmu felt suddenly uncertain about unleashing a torrent of magical bullets when it would be so easy to hit someone uninvolved. They'd be fine, of course, but...

So instead, she did the next thing that came to mind.

"STOOOOOOOP!"

Even as she spoke, the small girl raised Roukanken and prepared to bring it down on the first of the men. Still applying the nonlethality of danmaku to her blade, it wouldn't kill him, but it would certainly bring him down...!
