Carolina Reed, Richard Laine and Lizzie Roswell

Carolina has no problem controlling the man, and suddenly can tell what the layout is for the first floor of the lab, but that is as far as her knowledge goes. Seems like this guy didn't get to see the other floors, but it is better than nothing. There is a security office nearby, just down the hallway from where the three of you are standing. For Richard and Lizzie, nothing will seem out of the ordinary, just really quiet and boring. No one is trying to get through the front door at the moment.

Marygold Isley

Mary nodded at Guin's statement about grabbing any virus samples. Though she didn't have much to worry about on that front with being in the same group as her. She guessed that Guin probably knew what she was looking for, but it was good for everyone else to know that. Her group was pretty solid in her opinion, all of them were. They were as well built as they could be with their odd number of people. One group was a little under powered, but that group was in charge of the upper floors, so they were less likely to encounter a greater resistance. That was also one of the reasons she wanted a speedster in the group, in just in case they did encounter something, they could get out quickly.

She was not used to sitting around waiting this much, they needed to make their move quickly. There had to be something that they could do, though planning it out in each of the separate groups did seem like a decent idea. Guin was the only one in their group without powers, the other person in the total ensemble without powers was Cassandra, and she was going through the upper levels, relatively safe from where the virus most likely was. Marygold worried for her friend, but there was nothing more that could be done. Dangerous missions were all part of the job, though it did worry her that some of the members of the group weren't even considered adults yet.

"Alright, that sounds good to me Guin, but you charging ahead isn't the best thing. Remember, your susceptible to this virus, while Carolina, Allison, and I are not. Even if we do want to cover as much ground as possible in the least amount of time, we need to remember to be careful about everything we do, because one little mistake could cause them to release the virus early".

Cassandra Reed

Location: On The Road to NYC

Cassandra would eye her sister occasionally so far there hadn't seem to be any sort of complications, usually if something had happened to the body she took Carolina would instantly wake up. "So far so good." She said to herself as she watched Ayita shift into a small cute little hamster, she was tempted to go over and pick up. But decided against it, and then the new guy asking Oshea about if he had harmed anyone. Which was something that was unavoidable in their line of work, either you got hurt or you had to hurt someone back to defend yourself and others.

Her attention then went towards Guin and Marygold as the two spoke about strategy, she didn't want to see Guin getting infected by the virus that Magneto has been making. "You guys just need to be careful down there like Marygold said, and Guin you do need to be very careful." She said looking down at her phone for a moment as she leaned back in the seat running a hand through her hair letting out a slight sigh. Looking over towards Nina for a moment and gave her friend a gentle nudge. "How are you holding up?" Cassandra asked.

Carolina Reed

Location: On The Road To NYC

The moment Carolina took control of the guard in the room she started to go through the man's memories and eventually found the layout of the top floor at least. Which was good, she knew where everything was now for the top floor she was about to move her newly acquired host towards the security room. That's when she caught the woman staring directly at her, Carolina quickly averted eye contact they were the two unknown wild cards there that Pietro mentioned earlier. For now Carolina just tried to act normal as she eyed the door to the security room.

Carolina pretended to listen into some radio in the man's ear before turning and making her way over towards the security room, still trying to act as normal as possible so that she wouldn't get the attention of the two mutants. Carolina also hoped that no one was in the security room either she could take the security down without having anyone seeing her if there wasn't anyone inside.

Allison Andrews

Location: The Garage
{"Puppies and kittens. Think happy thoughts...."}

Frustrated she couldn't control her visions just yet, Allison followed her team. She had to be ready at a moment's notice, considering they were going towards the lower levels. She hoped for some kind of vision to allow her to see the layout of the building and how best to proceed, but as usual, that didn't happen.

Allison was worried about the virus and the fact they had Guin and Cassandra with them. Both of them were susceptible to the virus should things go wrong. Was there even a back-up plan? No, she had to have faith in her team! They were capable and strong. Allison did what she does best, put a winning smile on her face and perk the team up. "We got this guys! Anyone for a group hug before we go in? No? All right, I mentally hug you all, now let's do this!"

Guinevere Stark

Location: The X-Van - New York, New York
{"There's a little gray area in there and that's where you operate."}

Guin knew the risks. If she hadn't been aware of them before, then she certainly should've understood them as she thought more and more about how Magneto would have to craft the virus. There was something that didn't sit quite right with her. While Magneto stole the virus samples, they had little knowledge of who would've actually made the virus. S.H.I.E.L.D. intelligence didn't put that in Magneto's skill sets. There would either be a hostage or a willing helper inside the lab - human or mutant. But she wasn't sure and decided, for one reason or another, to keep that line of thought to herself.

"Just don't tell me the odds," Guin quipped. She then paused for a moment. "Aaaand...I'll pass on the group hug. We can do a crisp high five, instead." It was an expression she picked up from one of her father's old bodyguards. He had been assigned to tail her briefly when she was doing a summer program at M.I.T. a few years back. It was probably for the best that he did - there had been an active serial killer in Boston at the time. And her mother had been there. Two very good reasons to have some hired muscle.

Lizzie Roswell

Location: Brotherhood Headquarters - New York, New York
{"Monsters don't hide underneath your bed."}

There was a reason that Lizzie was paired up with Richard on most missions: she was immune to his charm. Her mutation provided a natural deterrent to his flirtatious ways, but beyond that, no one had ever seen Lizzie mention having sentiment for any other person. She never showed romantic interest and among some Brotherhood members, there was a debate as to whether she was an extremely private person or if there really was nothing to know. She was an enigma, even among mutants with similar mutations. While those like Rogue craved human contact and dreamed of the day where it would be possible, Lizzie disliked being touched.

She hardly blinked at Richard's teasings. "They rarely ever sing," Lizzie replied. "Self inflicted amputation is just slightly more common. Humans tend to enact violence more than sing, Adder." Her mutation had been the reason for her parents' death, after all. Murder-suicide. It wasn't pretty.

However, she was bored. A slight smirk appeared on her face. "Perhaps we should see what dark secrets the guard is hiding," Lizzie mused, twitching her fingers slightly to imply her meaning. There was a bit of a sadistic smirk on her face. Her powers, as far as she believed, had a way of bringing someone's true self to the surface - a twisted version, yet one that was somehow still true nonetheless. Turning her attention back to where she had last seen the guard, her smiled faded slightly.

There went the entertainment for the evening.

Ayita Dyrkin

Location X-Van
{"Squeak Sqeak."}

Large amber eyes looked at the hummingbird that was sitting next to her. Blinking slowly, the mouse sniffed. Almost offended she was now a comparable size to the tiny bird. Narrowing her eyes at the cause of this, Ayita squeaked rudely. Allison was overly cheery as ever. Slightly disturbing for the little mouse. That and the optimism. Ayita was a realist. And this reality? It was bad.

They had the possibility to be outnumbered. Not to mention out classed. They were going up against the unknown which was never a good thing in her book. Unknowns got you killed. Terrain was one thing. Cliffs were one thing. People were another thing. She sighed, her whiskers twitching. She wanted to hunt- or bolt of into sky or sea. Sliding down from the seat, via Daemon's leg. She scuttled through the van to shimmy through the small gaps in the van and to the street. From there, she scurried towards the alleyway.

Richard Laine

Location Brotherhood Headquarters - New York, New York

{"Old memories are unfaithful things. Just like I am."}

"The. The Adder." Richard hissed, his eyes flickering in annoyance. He hated being called merely Adder. "There is only one of me, I believe." But the annoyance passed quickly and a evil delight flickered in his eyes as Lizzie eyed the guard. It was a horrible idea, which is probably why it was so appealing to him. He was a wicked creature after all. And he would at least leave her like any other woman at least once.

Wrapping the coat about her, shielding himself from touching her skin. The Adder whispered into Wonderland's ear with a sultry voice. "Oh, come now darling. What point in there is playing with such a little weak man." His cool breathe hinting at what he was very experienced at. Tugging her hair playfully, he withdrew. Folding the coat over one arm, as he continued walking. The lean, supple gait of a predator. He was trained to kill. With words, or with blades. Not to mention guns, though he preferred the silent kill. Venom. It was easier to clean up.

Charlie Farrier

Location: The X-Van

Charlie couldn't quite understand how their current situation was like chess - but Oshea's words did have a somewhat calming effect. There was comfort in knowing that he wasn't going into this being the only one who hadn't really fought before. S.H.I.E.L.D agents sure, it was part of their job to harm and kill people. But the students of Xavier's Academy were probably just as uncertain as he was feeling. And as Oshea said, he would likely forget all of that in the heat of battle. Adrenaline did wonders for the psyche when the fight-or-flight system kicked in, and even if Charlie decided to "Fly" instead of "fight", he could provide a distraction for the others. Heat was pretty distracting, especially when the bad guys wouldn't be expecting it.

Nodding resolutely with a slightly less worried expression on his face, Charlie cocked a slight smile at Oshea.

"Just promise not to get mad at me if I accidentally singe you, okay?" He joked.

Nina van Essenhout

Location: The X-Van

Nina's expression had soured slightly as Ayita shifted into a mouse; not only a waste of energy, but it was a pointless form in their current situation. Rolling her eyes at the childish act, Nina looked to Cassandra as she was nudged.

"I'm alright. More worried about everyone else that myself. Particularly you and Guinevere." She answered, face becoming softer as she looked to her friend. Cassandra was no doubt worried too; not just because of the implications of the disease, but the presence of her younger sister, and the potential of Carolina getting harmed. Glancing at the comms they were wearing, Nina smiled slightly, though her eyes looked serious. "If you need help at any point, for yourself or others," Nina looked pointedly at Carolina before continuing. "Just radio me and I'll get there as soon as possible. I may even convince Pietro to give me a lift." Nina knew she couldn't be everywhere at once, but it was preferable in her mind to be harmed over any others on the team. She was likely the most durable one there, anyway. Besides, with a speedster on her team, perhaps she could be everywhere at once, in a manner, without affecting her own team's safety too much.

Oshea Jackson

"Much to learn, you still have! That was Yoda or somethin', right? That's a bad little green dude."

A grin. Oshea rarely smiled, though he was always welcoming and did his best to be approachable. He was joyed that Charlie wasn't turned away by his plaintive speech. Though this was only Oshea's second mission as an X man, he knew well the steeled nerve one needed to function in the field. It was a skill he had learned long before he'd ever thought of coming to the X Mansion: resilience. Poverty was the finest craftsmen, its hands heavy, its tools unfair and keen. A hungry stomach, the constant wonder of when that stomach would be filled again--these hardened the mind and body to expect nothing and to learn to receive what he could get for himself.

Here, that would include forcibly ensuring the safety of his teammates, regardless of how well his body was holding up at present.

Oshea's grin faded, he turned to Charlie with a glare more sly, "You'd have to catch me first, young blood."

Damon Fawkes

Tattoo count: 1 hummingbird

Damon raised a brow as the mouse Ayita looked offended at the hummingbird. Why did she look offended? The small bird hadn't done anything. He was now only half paying attention to the people in the van while the mouse that was Ayita slid down his leg and made her way out of the van. He watched, blinked and sighed. "Ill keep an eye on her" He was tasked with being in her group after all. With a shrug he opened the door and exited following the mouse.

While Damon went to follow the mouse, the small hummingbird went ahead of him to scout out where they were going. Toward an alley it seemed, he tried to sneak as best as possible with his bow and arrows...along with the small bird flying a good bit ahead of him. Why did Ayita have to leave the van...why? Well...at least he was not combat medic this time.

Carolina Reed
Carolina's luck seems to be holding out, there was no one else in the room when she got there. It was a simple room with several monitors for the security cameras. Looks like the guy she was controlling was on break or something when she found him and he was supposed to be in this room. Carolina is able to access the main security controls, so she could attempt to start shutting off cameras and disable the alarm on the front doors if she wants to make the attempt.

Richard Laine and Lizzie Roswell
The guard did seem to act a little strange when he suddenly turned and left for the security office nearby, but everything is still quiet. Without the X-Men busting down the door, or a speedster in the Brotherhood to run around and search everything so that everyone else could pay attention to other things, made this kind of boring. Lizzie and Richard will have heard of the Brotherhood's last encounter with the X-Men at the power plant, maybe they weren't coming after that mistake? The traffic of the city is not helping, making it difficult to keep track of anything outside of the building.

Marygold Isley

Marygold looked at the time, seeing that Carolina had been inside for several minutes. Since she wasn't back yet, that meant that she wasn't injured, or had yet to be discovered. This was good news, in a way it meant that their plan was not falling apart completely, like last time. Anything that wasn't an instant disaster was an accomplishment in her book. The team wasn't doing too horrible, though they had yet to do anything as of yet. She looked at the clock again, and decided that Cassandra had been gone long enough, and they could not just sit there forever.

She opened the car door, and turned back towards the others. "Alright, Cassandra has had enough time to probably get some security down. We need to head in now. Everyone get in your groups, and let's do this thing. All else fails, one of the speedsters can come back and grab Cassandra when she wakes up again. I wish we could wait, but we are wasting time, so let's go," she said as she looked back at the group as she exited the car. There was nothing that could be done. They couldn't wait for Cassandra any longer, since more lives were at stake this time around.

Carolina Reed

Location: On The Road To NYC

Carolina looked around the security room seeing all of the monitors that showed all of the camera angles within the room, looking over towards the door, seeing that she wasn't followed she closed her eyes and sighed softly to herself. At least there wasn't anyone else in the room. She approached the main console, as she looked up at the cameras once more, she started to type along the keyboard doing what she had learned from her current host. Carolina smirked to herself when she watched all of the cameras on everyone of the monitors suddenly go into a loop repeating what was just played a few minutes ago.

She then was about to shut down all of the alarms, but suddenly stopped when Carolina heard a loud beeping sound as the security system suddenly started to kick in. Which started to cause every alarm in the building to go off, Carolina's eyes turned to horror as she realized she had just put the whole mission into jeopardy. "No, no no!" Carolina started saying to herself over and over again as she tried to shut down the alarm. Carolina quickly left the guard's body and instantly ran straight back to the van as she suddenly woke up and pulled herself out of the van. "I accidentally set off the alarms they know we are here now!" Carolina called out.

Cassandra Reed

Location: On The Road to NYC

Cassandra looked towards Allison for a moment and gave her a friendly smile and shook her head, the girl was certainly optimistic she had to give her that. She watched Ayita climbing down and then managed to scurry off out of the van raising an eyebrow, and Damon climbing out shortly after her. She eyed her sister for a moment and then to Nina biting her bottom lip as she thought about her sister then turning back to Nina. "If things do go south just make sure she's okay and if you can get her out safely." Cassandra said, her sister meant a lot to her and always hated to see her in danger.

When Marygold announced that they needed to move out now she watched her sister for a moment before nodding as she started to climb out of the van looking to those that are assigned to her team. "Oshea and Charlie you two are with me." Cassandra said, she then started to hear the alarms going off quickly drawing out her handgun and turned towards the building. Then she heard her sister finally waking up, things now certainly weren't going on as planned. Cassandra looked towards Marygold for a moment to see what her plans were, they needed to move quicker now then ever.

Ayita Dyrkin

Location X-Van
{"Squeak Sqeak."}

Ayita scurried along the ground, darting from one bit of cover to the next. It wouldn't do to be picked up by a hawk or falcon looking for lunch. Twitching her whiskers the door mouse gave an annoyed look at the door in her path. There were other ways of course, but speed and time was of the essence. The others were back at the van and waiting on plans. Plans never survived the ambush. Prey always found a unaccounted for way. Which was appropriate as she was prey currently.

Her ears twitched as she noticed the humming bird- and it's summoner. Giving a annoyed look at the 'human', the mouse looked back at the door. Either he could try to open it or not. But it was probably locked given the prior run of luck. Darting for the small air vent, she squeezed through the gap and into the metal annoyance. Luckily there were not any snakes. Snakes were fond of mouse la amode. The noise, however, was annoying and would scare most of those of her form. Shifting on the other side of the door, she attempted to open it. If find it locked she would attempt to unlocked it.

Richard Laine

Location Brotherhood Headquarters - New York, New York

{"Old memories are unfaithful things. Just like I am."}

Richard's head snapped around at the sound of the alarm. Growling deep in his throat at the noise. So that lapse in peace was exactly that. A moment of calm, and now the storm had hit. Snarling he drew his guns. Wonderland girl could deal with the security office, he'd do the rounds. Stalking down the hall he began to give a military grade sweep of the building. Ready to shift, shoot or snap to cover. He was being taken surprised, and Richard was not a fan of surprises. Well, expect if it was from a woman.

"Oh good, the party has finally started." The Adder smirked, smoothing his black hair back. Double checking his ammunition, he twirled his guns while walking down the hall at a steady clip. Oh this was going to be fun! Hopefully someone was afraid of snakes, or worse. Afraid of men in general. He didn't generally like to play with fears, but it would help to get information. After all, information was so very key in life. Catching a glance of himself in a reflection he winked. "Good fighting handsome."

Oshea Jackson

"We gone see if they really 'bout it."

It was always something. Well, all of Oshea's meticulous planning was nil. He thought it a shame, too, this was a chance for him to show the rest of the team he wasn't just a snarking nuisance--even if this allocation of his character had some hidden truth. Once more, it was time to submerge, the lives of thousands in his comrades' and his hands. They would prevail, Oshea knew they would. They had no choice this time. If Oshea was being real with himself, they probably would fail again; whatever divine forces were out there, if any at all, seemed not to favor this bunch of would-be heroes. Clasping the side of his ruby red goggles, he slid themoff the crown of his head and rested them on his eyes; to him, the world dawned a deep red wherever he now looked. With a roll of his neck to loosen the building tension in his muscles, he turned to Charlie and Cassandra.

"Like Queen Bee said, don't serve us none waitin' 'round. Y'all ready to roll?" Oshea stood up, arms jolting out to either side of him in a stretch. For a sliver in time, he had intentions of waiting on their respective replies but then his mind jumped to the next though milliseconds later; he turned to Quicksilver,

"Don't trip ova yaself trynna keep up wit' me this time, aight?" a wink and a grin. Oshea sped off, leaving a gust of wind in his wake.

Allison Andrews

Location: The Garage
{"It's clobberin' time! I always wanted to say that!"}

Allison followed her team. No one wanted to take her up on her hug, which was their loss as far as she was concerned. And no visions as to what to expect going in. Still, she was ready, mentally and physically. She was confident this wouldn't be the power plant all over again.

At least she hoped so. There was a lot more on the line this time around.

She hoped Cassandra got what she needed to do, otherwise, this would be a bit harder. "So what's the plan now? I've been trying to have a vision with no use, but I am still ready. Just tell me what you need. I'm so ready for this. Look at me, I'm pumped! I really need to cut down on caffeine. I'm also nervous. Is that normal? Oh my God, look at this place, it's big! Good luck everyone!" she shouted that last part to the others before returning her attention to her team.

Guinevere Stark

Location: The X-Van - New York, New York
{"They told me I couldn't so I did."}

Guin looked at Marygold, nodding a bit with a bit of a stunned expression. "So you're cool with Tom and Jerry heading out to play Cat and Mouse? Cool. That's cool," Guin said. She had expected some sort of reaction from Mary, but it was likely that more than anything, Mary just didn't have the mental space to deal with Damon and Ayita. As long as they didn't jeopardize the mission, they could make their own choices. It was also entirely plausible that Mary's lack of response was, in itself, her allowing Damon to go chase after the shifter. They had bigger fish...er, mice...to fry.

"Fuck me," Guin muttered under her breath, as all of the alarms started blaring. There went their element of surprise - and at this point, there wasn't much use in attempting to shut them all off. The Brotherhood knew they were in the facility now. As Carolina sat up, Guin cocked an eyebrow, giving her a you don't say? look. Everyone quickly split up into their teams and prepared to head out, with Guin, Marygold, Carolina, and Allison still outside of the plant.

"Girl, I love the energy, but you got to keep calm. More mutant awesomeness, less cheerleader," Guin recommended, as kindly as she could. It was a bitchy thing to say, but it was the truth. Everyone had a limited amount of energy and focus. If they were going to pull this off, they'd have to use all of it. Guin pulled out one of the kits that Cassandra had grabbed for them, opening it up to reveal the Dwarves. They were miniature surveillance drones. Activating them quickly, Guin sent them into the facility. She took the monitor and strapped it around her wrist, looking a bit like a Smart Watch.

"We've got eyes in the lab. They should help us find the quickest path with least resistance...until someone shoots them out of the sky. So let's move."

Lizzie Roswell

Location: Brotherhood Headquarters - New York, New York
{"Monsters don't hide underneath your bed."}

Lizzie chuckled quietly at Richard's annoyance. She called him Adder simply because it got on his nerves. It was always amusing to get a rise out of someone who couldn't attack you without risk to themselves. Of course, if Richard truly wanted to attack Lizzie, he was welcome to try. The coat would work to his advantage - somewhat. As he wrapped her coat around her and used his flirtatious charm, Lizzie listened to him, rolling her eyes at his advances.

"Careful, Adder," Lizzie chided, stressing his name once more. "Playing with fire will get you burned." She clicked her tongue a few times as she walked down the halls, before her face lit up at the sound of the alarms. Brushing some of her curls out of her face, Lizzie went down the halls at a bit of a skip. She just knew that guard had been suspicious. With the way he appeared before going into the security room, she was certain that he had set off the alarms.

It could have been an attack, but it could have also been gross incompetence. Either way, she didn't care. She was bored.

Damon Fawkes

Tattoo count: 1 hummingbird

Damon looked at the mouse as he crouched to give himself as much cover as possible, bow in hand. He stopped in front of the door and looked from the door to the mouse again. He was waiting to see what Ayita was going to do and soon learned that the answer in that she went through the vent. He looked at the humming bird who looked back before tilting its head. Damon gestured toward the vent with a head jerking movement and through the vent the small bird flew to find and join Ayita.

With a bit of nervousness he stood up straight and waited at the door. Hearing the alarm he froze and kept his bow at the ready. His eyes moving from the door to his surroundings. He felt that his hummingbird was still there and if it died he would be able to focus a shot on whatever came through next...which would hopefully not be ayita. Well...he did not want to be combat medic this time around so...wish granted?

Nina van Essenhout

Location: The X-Van

Nina nodded seriously in response to Cassandra's request; she'd do what she could without endangered the mission or somebody else's life. Except her own, that was. Head whipping towards the facility as the alarms began to blare. Wasting no time, Nina left the van, pausing to look at Pietro behind her before she began to follow Damon and Ayita. Although Nina would have preferred for them to wait, it was obvious what they were doing, and finding an alternate entrance to the main one was likely going to help them. As would having a speedster, for that matter.

"Pietro, I need you to sweep the facility once we get inside. Nobody should notice you with your speed, so you'll likely be safe unless they've designed defences just for you. Get us numbers of enemies, numbers of civilians or hostages, and where they're located. If we know where everyone is, it'll make our job a whole lot easier." She instructed as she looked at him, hoping that he would actually follow the order instead of mess about like earlier.

Charlie Farrier

Location: The X-Van

Charlie's hair ruffled in the wake of Oshea's burst of speed, and he looked after the speedster with a grin. He'd only been at the mansion for about two weeks, and therefore hadn't seen much in the way of people using their powers all that often. Classes were boringly similar to regular human classes, with the occasional prank courtesy of someone's mutant quirk. But now, he was seeing it for real. He would be seeing his own powers for real this time - not by accident, and not because of emotion, but by choice. It would be a difficult choice to make, but he was more sure now that he'd be able to make the right one. Clambering out of the van beside Cassandra, he glanced at the older woman.

"I'm as ready as I'll ever be - I just hope I don't let you guys down." The younger boy wasn't even certain he could switch his powers on and off willy-nilly, but this seemed the best place to be trying them out. Emotions would be running high, and as he'd learnt at great cost, his powers were greatly linked with his emotions.

Richard Laine
He'll see other guards running through the hallways, looking for whoever set off the alarm. There are only a small group of people, he hasn't found anyone he didn't recognize, but the alarms are still blaring.

Lizzie Roswell
When Lizzie enters the office, she'll see the guard sitting in a chair. "Uh, what? How did I get here," he said, sounding confused, before turning to see her standing in the doorway. His eyes dart around, and then his eyes finally understand what was going on. He is sweating, but nothing seems out of place.

Ayita Dyrkin
When Ayita tries the door, she will find that surprisingly, it swings outward, allowing everyone else to be able to get inside.

Marygold Isley

When the alarms started blaring, and Cassandra woke up to tell them all, Marygold rushed out of the van. "Well, looks like the element of surprise is out the window. Stick with your groups, and be careful once we're inside," she said, as she raced over to the door that Ayita had just opened. "Guin, Allison, Cassandra with me, let's go, and hopefully we won't run into anyone, but the odds of that is just about non-existent since our luck is horrible".

Marygold headed through the door, nodding to Ayita as she went. Glancing up and down the hallway, she doesn't see anyone coming thankfully. Time was of the essence here, and there wasn't any time for them to be able to come up with a new plan. They were just going to have to make do with what they had. Though winging it was definitely not her strong suit, but there was no other way around it. They had to stop the Brotherhood, otherwise, the consequences would be devastating, and it was not going to end well for them.

After Nina made her request, Pietro let out a puff of air, before hopping out of the van, and racing inside. He was gone in a rush of air, before coming back again. "There are a few human guards a few hallways down, but still pretty close, as is one of the mutants who I don't really remember. He is about to turns away from where we are right now," he replied upon his return.

Carolina Reed

Location: On The Road To NYC

Carolina looked towards Allison giving the girl a friendly smile. "Hey if we make it out of this alive lets do some shopping yeah?" Carolina said as she gave Guin a slight look when she made her announcement but decided to not say anything. Carolina certainly did like the girls enthusiasm as she looked towards Marygold and nodded as she was about to run after her and head towards the entrance. She felt her sister grabbing her by the arm, and handing her an Icer, looking down at it she knew how to use it which would be good it was a non lethal weapon that would knock out anyone with a single shot. "Thank you." Carolina said softly as she started to make a run towards the same entrance that Ayita and Damon had found.

She looked towards those that were in her team, Carolina patched herself into everyone's radios so that she could listen in on everyone else. It did sort of remind her when she first joined up with SHIELD this wasn't her first rodeo going into a mission, she did go undercover for several months with her friend October. "Lets find an entrance to the lower levels shall we?" Carolina said as she turned around down the hallway as she tried to remember where the staircase would be from when she possessed the guard just moments ago.

Cassandra Reed

Location: On The Road to NYC

Cassandra was grateful for Nina as she reached over and handed her sister an Icer that she had brought with her, she watched as Guin started to get the Dwarves out seeing the mini drones starting to fly off and towards the facility. She certainly did enjoy using the drones when on a mission, she took out her gauntleted mini computer and started to patch herself into the drones feed. Her eyes watched as Oshea ran off towards the facility. "Find the guards on the first floors and knock them out, and take them outside so that they wont be affected if the virus is released." She said over the radio.

Her attention quickly turned towards Charlie and gave him a friendly smile and pat on the shoulder. "You will do fine, just stick close to me alright?" Cassandra said as she started to make her way towards the main entrance of the facility taking out her Icer as she got ready in case any of the guards opened fire on them.

Ayita Dyrkin

Location X-Van
{"The Hunt is on."}

Ayita shoved the door open and let the few X-men pass before she stepped away from it once more. Kneeling to check her boots and retrieve the hunting knife from the top of the left one. She flipped it forward and back in her hand, testing the grip before looking to Pietro when he returned. So there were a group of human guards, they most likely had guns. It wasn't something she wanted to run into, but such was the human fascination with those noisy things. Her amber eyes were bright with not excitement but thrill. The hunt was on.

Glancing towards the halls that Pietro had mentioned she nodded more to herself than the others. "I'll go see what power the mutant has. Vents. Return soon." Not waiting for a reply the shifter darted down the hall. Why should she? She had hunted alone plenty of times before. Her feet moving in a graceful lope as she strove to keep her foot falls soft. Following Pietro's directions. Though she was oh, so very careful to keep her eyes sharp for humans. At luck they might think her a Brotherhood- though she doubted it. Tucking her knife into it's sheath as she dipped low. Her body cracked and split. A mouse continuing down the hall, large amber eyes keen on any intelligent life. Hoping to spy this mutant and get a gist of what power they might have. Pietro was not so bright- or so she thought.

Richard Laine

Location Brotherhood Headquarters - New York, New York

{"Let's play a game."}

Watching the group run past, he sighed. Idiots. Running about a gaggle of geese. If they were making a mess like this, that at least to Richard meant that it wasn't the front doors that had been breached. Something he found welcoming. So this group of X-scouts weren't just brawlers. They had some brains! He would relish this. Sauntering down the hall, he moved his path as to check the side door or doors. If they were all secure it stood to reason that these intruders if they were the X-Scouts had come via air or below ground. Though he would have to give them props if they had done it that way.

Shifting one gun back to it's holster, the Adder smirked as he continued his sweep. Careful. Cautious. And always aware and ready to snap to cover and then get behind the intruder. Choking them out would be his preferred method at this point. Information would be valuable. Who were they? How many? Why were they here? Oh, he was sure he knew some of their answers if they were who he thought they were. But the questions still needed asked if only to establish a base line for truth and lie. Really, he was wasted here. Running about halls and plotting mass genocide. But- eh. He was paid, and this genocide wouldn't hurt his cause too much. Even if it did irk him a good deal.

Oshea Jackson

"I don't call myself the Grandmaster for nothin'."

Fuzz crackled over his radio as he blitzed through to the nearest entrance. The alarm's blare shrieked and invaded his ears, and for a moment it unsettled his concentration. He scanned the hallways in search for guards, and then he found them. They were alert, weapons drawn and hunting for intruders. Oshea put his back against a nearby wall and occasionally peeked around the corner as the guards fanned the halls. Oshea had to time it right--sure, Oshea could take them both out in a few seconds, but there was no guarantee that one of the guards wasn't a mutant. Still, the aim was twofold: he couldn't just knock the guards out and leave them there, they would die that way. He had to knock them out and get them to safety, and Oshea didn't know how much time he had. He pulled out his radio and communicated to Cassandra,

"I'm goin' in. If you hit me up and I'on' answer, tell Pietro I hate him and tell Allison I love her".

Oshea chuckled to himself.

Then he clipped the radio on his hip and whirred, the only thing any naked eye could see was a momentary red streak as he went to incapacitate the group of guards one by one. A swift circle, he grabbed two by the backs of their heads and went to smash them together. There was another guard whose shoelaces Oshea attempted to tie together and then push over. There was one last guard remaining in Oshea's visage, who he tried to sneak up on from behind--blinding collapse of distance between himself and the unaware guard. Oshea through a hook toward the guard's temple which--if it landed---was sufficient enough to knock the guard out.
