I echo what Fox said, Tae! It sucks that the group presentation as a whole went a bit naff due to bad partners, but at least your part in particular got good reviews and praise :D I've never really understood what the point of group presentations were, marking someone on how well someone else did is always a bit... I know at the end of the day they focus on how the individual did but it still feels like a bad effort on someone else's part can reflect on everyone else in the group? I get that they do it for teamwork and synergy! but it's still kinda 'errrr'. XD But at least you yourself did good. :) Congrats!



Kathi will be away on a choir trip starting this Wednesday so her posting might be eratic as a headsup, but if so I/we can pilot Aria nicely enough for her. Have fun on your trip, Kathi!!

8D @ hearing Sokka not useless. I didn't think he entirely was, but he got his ass handed to him by Zuko, so, lol. I look forward to seeing how his development goes 8D And yussss @ first eps being the weakest. Opening episodes tend to be when they're setting the characters and world up, but Avatar's were really good even from the outset. This shall be funnnn. ~w~ I wouldn't say the humour is child friendly so much as family friendly. I still laughed, but then again I guess I am a big kid... >.>;

Sorry guys, I can't post today. :/ I managed to finish my powerpoint presentation last night but then fucked up & fell asleep on my essay that I'm supposed to be taking to my professor tomorrow, but I have to work this morning & go to a Japanese presentation rehearsal right after, then work again after my classes are over. I have *another* presentation for my lit class Wednesday night following my meeting with my history professor & another class so it's like... fuck. lol. I might actually transfer schools/to the air force after this year is over because I can't afford tuition since they took away my grant that let me go through my freshman year.

If you guys need to move the Pellagio group on elsewhere, I don't mind having Amy come out the bathroom after like someone bangs on the door or asks her to come out or whatever. But she's not going to say a word to anyone for a bit lol. as usual idk. Just FB me if anyone needs anything, I usually have my phone on me.

Also lol Tae, congrats on keeping your presentation alive! Can't stand group presentations for the same reasons you listed hahaha, so super congrats on you getting through that.

Okay, Avatar stuff! I'm reacquainted now, haha. By the way, I seriously, seriously suggest not Googling anything unless you want to be accidentally, horrifically spoiled on major future plot points.

I'm surprised at how nice the animation quality/voice acting is considering things are usually a little shaky during the pilot episodes for most things. For someone who's watched the entire series, the difference in Katara's voice over time is pretty noticeable IMO (even though her voice actor has always been the same, Mae Whitman rocks). All of the main characters are very very close, but I think overall Katara's my favorite (and waterbending is my favorite bending element), so it'll be fun watching her grow all over again :') It was nice that one of her very first lines was literally calling out Sokka for being sexist, I had completely forgotten about that. And I forgot about airbender cakes too, lol.

Man, I can't wait until next-next week for "The Waterbending Scroll", Rex probably feels me on that one 8]

Getting my post up and then I'm going right to bed, it'll probably be shorter than what I've been doing lately because I don't have a lot to add until we move things along a bit.

So yeah, I was a bit loopy on melatonin I guess, and I think I accidentally got up and set my alarm for another two hours this morning, so I missed my speech class today. :| Huge bummer, we get a lot of points taken away if we're absent on speech days, siiiigh. On the other hand, my math test went awesomely, and I somehow managed to get 59/58 (you're reading that correctly) on my accounting exam! So ;w;

Gonna start on a post now!

Thanks Pach! And that grade was for my accounting class, not math :p (although I do expect an A on my math test today, hahah) Apparently my teacher thought the phrasing on a few of the questions was confusing enough to warrant throwing out some of those questions entirely, and he gave out bonus points if we answered them correctly anyway. And I did, so those bonus points added up enough to get me an A and a point of extra credit. :> I was so shocked when I saw the circled A, I was certain after missing my first class that The Powers That Be were setting me up for something, but nah, it worked out :p
