And these people think they have what it takes to be pro heroes? Pathetic.

It was safe to say that Yoshiba was unimpressed by the rowdiness of her classmates behind her. She turned to look toward the boy who introduced himself as Hara Robin, though she only did so because he was addressing her—she had no interest in talking to them, after all. Her cold eyes looked over the boy and his features to estimate what his quirk could be. Mutation quirks were the most common, and Yoshiba herself was born from the same kind of genetic lottery, so they shared that fact. Her hair moved along her shoulders, as if looking on their own at her supposed “desk buddy”.

“Yoshiba Mizuhana. Kagoshima Prefecture.” She commented, introducing herself in her way.

Chihaiten Academy

In an obscene turn of luck (perhaps orchestrated by some higher power), the three had managed to be placed in the same class. Hearing Hisano suggest that they walk together was a huge relief - it was validation that she had made friends. Her mission was a success. In her first day at Chihaiten, she had made two friends. It was a remarkable improvement, considering how it took two months in junior high to make one friend and an infinite of time in elementary.

Without any further delay, Midori went to pick her seat. She let the Noah and Hisano pick before her, mostly because she herself was too afraid to pick a seat and get the seats around her stolen. Midori finally decided on the seat between Hisano and Noah.

Upon sitting at her seat, Midori realized something; she had never told Noah her name. How could they be friends if name-knowing was only one way? She turned around to face Noah, but instantaneously turned back around. Due to the diagonal the three formed, Noah appeared to be surrounded by a massive slab of meat. While Midori wanted to make friends, the mammoth of a man directly behind Noah made it difficult to converse in that general direction.

Instead, Midori kept to herself. Her lunchboxes were the only company she would have right now. She would wait until the seats became more filled to gain more friends, as she didn't want to look at that muscle-monster.

"Oh, thank god," Noah rolled his eyes and breathed a sigh of relief as he said this, in English of course, before once again facing the student in color, who'd introduced himself as Alekos prior to his approach, "I'm not surprised that you know English, if I'm honest, but I... didn't want to assume."

It was here that Alekos confirmed that, yes, this was his first year at the academy, just as was the case for everyone else. He nodded in response to this, but it wasn't quite enough to ease his troubled mind. He still needed a little more information on what Alekos' story was, and he still would've preferred to handle it delicately if he was able. Thankfully Noah wasn't forced to use his rusty Japanese, as there was no way he'd be able to ask this of Alekos without being too blunt. But that didn't make things much easier. What did make things easier was that Alekos somehow caught on to what Noah was ultimately trying to say just as he opened his mouth.

"No worries; I'm not some weird guy trying to sneak into high school," Alekos stated, "I'm sixteen, I swear."

"Huh... I was just about to ask," Noah chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck. However, he was glad that he chanced the direct meeting with Alekos, and was able to gauge his interactions as a result. Furthermore, the pink-haired guy seemed to keep to himself for the moment, so Noah had lost all concern for him being behind him as well.

Now that he felt more comfortable facing the front when he needed to, Noah glanced over his shoulder to see if the teacher was ready to actually start his lecture, noting that he had a fairly complicated formula on the blackboard that he busied himself erasing. It was just as he was about to turn back that Noah noticed Midori seating herself between him and Hisano, seemingly very focused at looking dead ahead. He couldn't tell whether she preferred to wait for the lesson to begin or if she was warded off by the sight of Alekos and the guy next to him. Assuming the latter was the case, Noah wouldn't be able to blame Midori. He was initially just as hesitant, and would've stayed that way if not for the boy with the glasses talking with Alekos first. But since those few seconds ago, he'd learned better than that.

"Looks like we still have some time at least," Noah noted, before facing Alekos once again, "I'm Noah, by the way. Nice to meet you."

The large man had first began getting excited on the pink haired guy's... pink hair. Honestly, it was super cool and pretty unusual. He certainly sounded amazed. He then turned his attention to him. Rikuo grinned at the man. Looks like he already found a kindred spirit this time - a nice change of pace from Yoshiba who was rather serious. Not that he was saying that meeting Yoshiba was a bad thing. Knowing that there were so many types of people in this classroom made everything more interesting. He had to talk with everyone in class at some point. "It does, actually. Hope that doesn't happen again though. Speaking from experience, teachers don't like it when students run late." He replied and then followed it with a chuckle. While it had been rare, teachers were usually getting angry at him. He did try sneaking in multiple times, so perhaps that was the reason they got angry at him.

Before he could introduce himself, a light brown haired girl entered the room and sat down at the opposite side of himself. Rikuo seemed to turn his interest to her as she seemed to look unsure on where she placed herself and was looking at their general direction. This led to Rikuo observing her further. She stood up and then sat down beside him. He looked back at Alekos and then said, "Oh right, the name's Rikuo Watanamiya. Nice to meet you all." He thought that introducing himself to all three people present would be the best course of action. He then leaned back as he began to listen to the two converse.

The girl doesn't seem to be too good with Japanese, since she looked like she was having trouble with speaking. Whoa, he didn't think that he would have a foreigner - oh wait. Robin was one as well right? Except he was pretty much well-versed in Japanese. She seemed to think that Al wasn't a first year - despite him being here. Honestly, though, he didn't think that the school would actually make a mistake like that. Though maybe in her home country, it might have happened at least once for her to assume that it might be a thing. But then he became lost as the girl started to speak in English. As much as he loathed to admit it, he cannot converse in English. He could understand bits of pieces - but never entire conversations.

So, he continued to listen but then looked around. There was the green haired girl that sat just a little bit away so he couldn't actively talk with her since she was too far. Shame. It was hard to talk to the pink haired guy too, since he was pretty far too and he would be directly disturbing Al and the girl's conversation if he tried. The teacher, Mr. Kemikaru, was still sitting on his chair - watching them fill up their own seats. There were still some bits of formula left over on the board and he tried to make something out of it by tapping into his knowledge of Chemistry from his previous years in a normal school, but most of it went over his head. Maybe it was because it wasn't the complete formula. He should ask Mr. Kemikaru about it later. Honestly, he wanted to know more about it. He might not be the most studious of students, but his curiosity must be sated.

Rikuo looked back at the pair beside him when he heard the girl mention that her name was Noah. Huh, that was good to know even if he was just kind of eavesdropping. Thinking back to the event earlier where the headmistress called up all their names, he fished out Noah's name. Noah Acosta... Noah huh? Sounded like a guy's name but maybe he was mistaken. Anyhow, since she introduced herself with her first name, he assumed that she was fine with being called by her first name. He wondered when class would start.

And the tall and evidently loud boy talked to him. About his hair of all subjects. How strange.

Zentato ran a hand though his curly pink hair. People used to compliment his hair when he was younger and ... rounder. But once he got tall and built people stopped complimenting his hair. They seem to think he would beat them down if they talked to him or talk about anything but his physical abilites which is what he wants people to talk about. But people talking his hair is not such a bad thing. It talks about something he can change at anytime so it wouldn't hurt to reply back to the loud boy. He also seemed to placed in the back often if his dialogue with him is truthful which it should be the boy seems incapable of lying. Which is nice. Zentaro gave the boy a response.

"Thank you, I grew it myself." Zentaro spoke overly seriously he didn't even realized he made a pun he wasn't used to getting compliments about anything but his fighting ability. The boy told him is name after excusing himself for being rude. Which he wasn't the topic hasn't arisen naturally yet. People care too much about politeness it seems at this school besides the blue haired girl. Zentaro nodded at the boy's overly long and hard to pronounced name, and Zentaro simply responded with, "I'm not everybody, I wish to see what our year holds in stores for the both of us, Alekos."

Oh, good another raised hand.

Zentaro silently raised the same side hand and poked the large man's hand and then diligently stared at him with the intent to say they're doing this strange ritual that people do to introduce themselves. After a few moments of silence Zentaro lowered his hand and stared back forward. But that wouldn't last long.

After that another boy spoke to the big boy and they joked about him being late. Zentaro felt a ting of annoyance in his gut but he snuffed it out. bvut he couldn't help but speak up, he can't let what should be equals act less then as such. "You should be more diligent in your effort from now on Alekos, if only so people won't get the wrong idea about you." Zentaro reprimanded the tall boy with his always serious face. Next was a girl who spoke with rudimentary Japanese. Zentaro took note of her Japanese and tried to think what her accent is. But her name is rather strange, when she introduced herself. Noah. Isn't that normally a boy's name? Maybe they're a boy? Neither? Both? How confusing. Zentaro couldn't help but speak up. Deciding to move on from the thought of this Noah person's gender since it wasn't any of his business nor did he really care to ask. "How long have you two been in Japan?" Zentaro asked the two foreigner of the group."You're Japanese is... passable. Better then my English, no doubt." Zentaro mused aloud, if he wants to surpass his classmates he needs to learn English so they can't speak in front of him without him knowing what they're saying. He better pick up some books after class to help with that.

Finally everybody in the group introduced himself after the boy with glasses introduced himself. Zentaro placed a hand on his chin and thoughtfully wonder if he should give them his name before thinking a "Fuck it" and let them know. "It would appear you all put me at a disadvantage in this introductions game. I won't lose. I'm Zentaro Kobashigawa... I win... but so did everybody else it seems.... good for us." Zentaro spoke earnestly without any hesitation. He won and so did they all. How useless, a definite winner and loser is always best way of gauging such competitions. If everybody wins it proves nothing. But he decided to ignore his gut feeling and speak as he did, uselessly, like nearly every discussion he had today.

Yoshio waited through the ceremony patiently, taking in every word. It was all a formality, but Yoshio felt the need to be respectful of it regardless. Yoshio was intrigued to learn he would be a part of Class A. He knew there was no true meaning in being part of the first class read out from the list, but he felt it could be auspicious in it's own way. Some people attributed a special meaning to being in a class with such a title whether it meant anything or not, and there was the fact that whenever anyone had to look through the class lists, their names would always be the first to be read. It would probably seem silly if anyone could read what was going on in his head right now, but Yoshio was in truth amusing himself with the thought rather than putting any real significance on this.

Upon entering into the classroom, Yoshio chose to sit in the second row, next to a girl with brown hair. "I hope you don't mind me taking this seat?" He asked politely. It was always possible that someone wanted their friends to sit next to them, in which case Yoshio would not mind relinquishing the seat in order to accommodate them. Otherwise, this seat would work as good as any other in the room for Yoshio. "My name is Yoshio Sanzo, by the way." He added. "Pleased to make your acquaintance."

The big lug had to admit he was loving the little group that was already forming around him, if these were going to be the people he spent sitting next to for the rest of the year Al was more than alright with that. They all were seemed more than friendly enough and didn't look like the type that would want to cause any real trouble. Al couldn't help but have a rather big goofy grin on his face as he mentally patted himself on the back for managing to make friends on the first day of school, and before classes even started no less. He was quickly pulled out of his little personal internal celebration when the girl that sat in front of him started to continue on her conversation, with what seemed to be much more comfort given she was now speaking in her own tongue. Al smiled as she introduced herself, prompting him to offer her one of his meaty palms to her to shake. "It is great to meet you Noah. My name is Alekos Maximos Asclepius, but everyone calls me Al." He said is his usual warm tone.

As the greeting finished Al's attention was quickly pulled back to the glasses wearing young man who introduced himself as Rikuo. Al couldn't help but agree with Rikuo, offering him a chuckle and a nod as he recalled his own personal encounters with teachers that were less than thrilled with him showing up late for their classes. "I see what you mean and this is not the place that you want to have a teacher gunning for you." Al said, though it seemed that he was more saying it to remind himself.

Al found himself looking back over to the pink haired fellow, who revealed himself to be Zentato. His usual warm expression faltered slightly as Zentato reinforced that being late was less than acceptable to show up late. He mentally kicked himself a few times as he nodded in agreement. "You are right Zentato... But you have it on my word that from this day forward that I will never be late for class again!" Al said, a fiery determination filling both his words and his eyes. He offered Zentato a confident grin, though Al had just met the boy he couldn't help but want to make up for disappointing Zentato.

As the conversations went on the topic of when both Noah and himself arrived to Japan came up, though it should of been expected seeing as they seemed to be some of the few foreigners in the group. "Oh I was born and proudly raised here in Japan." Al said with a smile, switching back to speaking Japanese. "I just picked up English living in the foster-home, a lot of foreigners get caught up in the system." It was then that Al realized that there was kind of a language barrier in the group, one that strangely enough he could help break through. "Oh uh actually if you guys want I can help interpret for you guys, you know if the need comes up."

Just as he finished introduced himself, Noah noted the somewhat queried reactions of the taller pink-haired boy, who later introduced himself as Zentaro, and the boy with the glasses, who was named Rikuo. It was clear that they picked up on how weird it was for a girl to have a name commonly reserved for boys. Noah's mother Cameron had that same complication, but she at least had the right reproductive organs to assure people that she was in fact a woman. The case was not the same for Noah at all. Thankfully, neither of the two had pressed for Noah's true gender, as he wasn't sure whether to drop the bombshell right then and there or hold off just a little longer. However...

"Your Japanese is... passable. Better then my English, no doubt."

"Hm? OH!! Er, thank you, I(!)... it's still a little rusty, I know," Noah had to admit, although he was still shocked that he received such a compliment from Zentaro, "My parents taught me enough to scrape by light conversation, but... that speech from assembly just flew right over my head. I couldn't make heads or tails off of it."

He looked down at his phone as he completed what he wanted to say, if only so he could confirm that what he was saying in Japanese came out right back to him in English. It was a good thing that the translator was working in perfect order, as there was no other way that Noah could sit through the impending lecture and expect to grasp any of it. Noah had only one earphone in, so he could still listen for when the teacher called everyone's attention. Or in this case, Alekos explaining that he was born and raised in Japan, surprisingly, and that it was through living with a foster-home with a lot of foreigners that he managed to pick up English.

"I was born in Shinjuku, actually," Noah stated, figuring it was about time for his story, "But I guess I hadn't enough exposure to the Japanese culture. My dad's Australian and my mom's American, so... no wonder English was my first language?"

Noah shrugged his shoulders at that last part. He could only hope that would explain his predicament.

It was a morning like any other. At least, that was how it had started off. Right now, as far as Isamu Yukimura was concerned, it was the most stressful morning of his life. A mix of anxiety and excitement had kept him awake almost all night.

"Ohnoohnoohno!" Isamu repeatedly shouted as he ran out of his house, his uniform in disarray and his bag half open. How could he have ended up so late? What had happened after he managed to really fall asleep? Didn't mom try to wake him? Dad? No... It was his own fault. He had stayed up late and he had eaten so much in his nervous stupor that once he had fallen asleep he'd slept through his alarm. That was on him. Now he was on his way to school though. He was from Sakai, only a few wards away from where the school was located. So, if he was lucky he would make the last train so he could possibly be on time for the opening ceremony.

Isamu ran as fast as his short legs would carry, but just as he reached the station he felt a sudden lightening of weight. Throughout the course of his run, it seemed, the zippers of the bag had become looser and looser until finally everything inside fell out onto the platform. He gasped, scrambling to try and pick it all up just as the train began to close. "Crapcrapcrapcrapcrap--" he repeated as he jammed everything into the bag and forced it shut only to turn to the sight of the training pulling out of the station.

"That was the last train for thirty minutes." Isamu was dejected to say the least. What kind of impression would he make as a hero if he couldn't even be on time for the first day? The idea of heading back home crossed his mind, but he shook his head. "Alright! So I'm a little late. I'll start living in the dorms soon. So, it won't happen again." He said trying to keep his morale up. He'd initially been against the idea for fear of being away from home, but his mother and father had managed to convince him with help from his sister. They would be sending some of the essentials soon, but he was good otherwise. At least that's what he wanted to say. Isamu's troubles were just getting started.

*****

After waiting for the next training and getting on he was finally almost at his stop. The young boy rushed out as soon as the doors opened and pressed forward to his new school. He was late... so... SO LATE.

"Maybe I can at least get to class!" He spoke to himself as he came upon the campus. He had definitely missed the opening ceremony. There was no way he hadn't. He entered the school to a mass of empty hallways. He was like a chicken without a head, scurrying about with no real destination. That is until a teacher found him. After a brief scolding along with a trip to the headmistress. He was given the information he needed and after a few bows and apologies he was on his way to class. Things seemed to have been, mostly, settled and class was underway, to an extent. He takes a breath standing at the door.

"Okay... Just walk in." Isamu wasn't sure if he could do that. He was late. He wanted to open the door. He reached out, but pulled back. He turned away from the door and then back. He turned away again and then back. He steeled his resolve. He turned the doorknob. And finally, pushed the door open. And yet, as he pushed the door open and lifted his foot and tripped moving forward. He literally tumbled in, rolling across the floor and into a desk with a loud yelp and a grunt.

"Um... Hi..." He groaned as he rubbed his head, sitting on the floor of the classroom before a class of what were effectively giants and a few individuals who at least stood above him height wise.

Rikuo continued listening with his arms crossed. So, pink-haired guy was named Zentaro, good to now. Hm... he looked to be the serious type so he'll wait a bit before calling him something shorter... like Zen! Yeah! That would be perfect. That is, if the guy would actually allow him to call him by a nickname. It looked like he was a bit competitive, or if not, he strayed away from normal social cues. It was mostly because how he treated the introductory phase of their relationship as some sort of competition where they all won. Nevertheless, Rikuo nodded. "Yep, guess we all won. Pretty hard to have a winner when it's introductions y'know?" He pointed out with a shrug.

He then looked at Noah, who seemed pleased with the compliment Zentaro gave to her. "So you have a translator and everything huh?" Rikuo observed as he saw Noah peek downwards, towards her phone he would assume. "That's... actually pretty cool." He then paused for a few moments. "If you'd like, I could copy down notes for you, have Al translate them and hand them to you. Y'know, if you're having trouble with keeping up." He offered. Rikuo did everything quickly after all, jotting down notes was easy for him to do, writing two was a challenge but something he did quite often just so he wouldn't fall out of focus form the class. One of his best friends, a sickly one, appreciated the arrival of notes whenever he was out for the day. Helping others and helping himself at the same time was always a win-win situation for him and it made him feel good.

Rikuo then looked back and forth between Noah and Alekos. "You two were born in Japan? Huh..." He was used to the story that foreigners moved from their home country to Japan, but rarely being born here already. Oh well, first time for everything he guessed. He looked at Noah, "Shame you didn't get to learn much Japanese though. Was your old school an international school then?" He questioned, curious as to why she never needed to learn conversational Japanese at the very least. It would be cool though, to hear stories about international schools. They speak in English there, he heard, or at least very little Japanese. Though, they were only rumors. Maybe it was different and Noah was just homeschooled or something.

"It'll be a big help Al!" He exclaimed with a thumbs up as he grinned at the big guy. They needed to overcome that nasty language barrier. Maybe he should take out those English textbooks from before and then some so he could learn more. If Noah can't learn Japanese quickly, then he'll just learn English. That way, they could converse with ease! Though, he doubted he could just learn English that quick, but it would help... he guessed. "I guess the thing that would really be bad is the lectures."

The doors slid open once more and then someone... tumbled in and rolled towards a nearby desk, hitting it and letting out a groan of pain. He then let out a meek greeting to all of them. Rikuo stood up from his seat and then weaved through the seats as he headed towards the guy and then helping him up. "Up you go man." The guy was pretty fat and relatively smaller than anyone he's seen from the class - even smaller than Yoshiba! Hell, he was pretty sure that he was a whole foot taller than the guy. But still, he was here and that meant he was in thie class. "Alrighty then, you good? Just grab a seat anywhere, Teach over there doesn't really mind where we sit." Now that he thought about it, he didn't see this guy in the ceremony. He must have been up front or something. "Rikuo Watanamiya by the way, pleasure to meet 'ya." He said with a grin and a nod before backing up a little bit to give the guy some leeway. He stayed for a moment just to see if he needed anything else before he would go back to his seat.

And finally the welcoming reunion had ended and was time for his first class. He had not made any friends yet, but he had not tried either, after all he was not there to make friends but to become a pro hero. The first years were the first ones to leave so 19 of the people walking in front of Kian were from his class, the other ones probably were from Hero B and Support. While walking towards the classroom Kian was wondering what kind of Quirks his class mates would present and was curious to see them in action in the future.

He did not rush to the class, he was not used to rush in his life at all, so he ended up being one of the last to arrive at class. Most of the seats were taken so he walked towards one almost in the back row. He sat near a girl with brown hair and green eyes.

"Hey, I'm Kian, it seems we are going to be desk neighbors. Nice to meet you!" Kian smiled waiting for and answer while taking his sit.

"So you have a translator and everything huh? That's... actually pretty cool. If you'd like, I could copy down notes for you, have Al translate them and hand them to you. Y'know, if you're having trouble with keeping up."

"Thanks for the offer, Rikuo, but I might not even need to take it," Noah said with a smile on his face, "That's the cool thing about this... translator; it can pick up on audio as well. I could even listen in on entire conversations with this thing on if I wanted to, and I could still understand everything because it'll come through in English for me."

Noah seemed proud of himself for a second there. He learnt an entirely new word all on his own. Well... mostly on his own. Credit had to go to Rikuo for saying the word "translator" first, so that Noah would know how to pronounce it correctly in Japanese.

"Shame you didn't get to learn much Japanese though," Rikuo had also noted of Noah, "Was your old school an international school then?"

"Er, yes... that'd be about right," Noah tried his best to maintain his smile, only for it to vanish immediately after he said his piece. He looked down at his desk as Rikuo began conversing with the others, reminiscing all the memories that he'd rather not have allowed to resurface. How awkward and naturally uneasy he was back then. His difficulties talking about the troubles he had. The lack of friends he had. His numerous encounters with those accursed bullies. And most importantly, every single laceration that he'd gotten from his own Quirk. Everything about that last school flooded Noah's mind all at once. But then, just when he needed a distraction...

"Hey, I'm Kian, it seems we are going to be desk neighbors. Nice to meet you!" said another boy who'd then seated himself on Noah's right. That was enough to snap Noah out of his trance, with what being somewhat out of left field.

"Hey. Um... hi, there," Noah said to the boy, figuring that he should say something at least. Except he was already starting to fumble again, like he did when he first approached Alekos.

'Come on now, Noah!' he scolded at himself, 'There's no way a lousy intro would be that hard that you couldn't make one to save your SSSHHHIIIIIIT!!'

Noah jumped off his seat with a start as he heard a loud thud that caught him off-guard, and a multitude of different-colored gemstones formed around him as he searched frantically for the source. These gemstones had mostly materialized around Noah himself, and none of them could be found anywhere else. His eyes were wide open as he desperately scanned his surroundings, and his heart felt as if it had skipped a beat or two as he tried to find the cause of the sudden noise. However, he breathed a sigh of relief as he noted Rikuo helping up a rather short, plump individual, who'd presumably tripped over... something, and collided with a nearby desk. So that was what it was?

...

Nervously, Noah turned to look towards Kian again.

"My name is Noah, and this..." he pointed to one of the gemstones that'd formed around him as he finally introduced himself to Kian, before turning towards Rikuo and the others, "...this is my Quirk."

And nobody cares, sidekick.

Yoshiba internally sighed as she began lightly tapping her fingers on the surface of her desk. How long exactly was it going to be until the instructor finished what he was doing and got to work actually teaching the class like he was paid to do? She didn’t become a hero to sit around doing nothing and have people waste her time. Such trivial delays were only made more annoying by the antics of her classmates who took their seats behind her, though part of her almost couldn't blame them for yammering on like idiots; she was sure that if she were a sidekick she would be trying to distract herself, too. But Yoshiba wasn't sure how much longer she could bear hearing such idiots yammer on and wait on actually hearing a lesson.

What kind of academy was Chihaiten to have two slow-to-do presentations in a row?

Mr. Kemikaru silently watched over the class of what he could only suppose were a troublesome bunch. He sighed and stood to speak, just barely a second before Isamu rolled into the room. Soon the young boy would be helped to his feet with a small, meek “thank you” to the young man who’d helped. Not wanting another outburst, Kemikaru cleared his throat and stepped out from behind his desk.

“Thank you for helping our resident latecomer Mr. Watanamiya.” He said as the class quieted down, since their teacher had decided to grace them with his voice (sarcasm ye?). His eyes roamed the room once more though he didn’t take the time to have Rikuo and Isamu return to their seats, or find a seat in the case of Isamu, because he was preparing to have the class move out. “We’ll be heading to the field area of our school. I’ll give you all time to change into your gym uniforms and report to me.” He said sternly.

“F-field area?” Isamu questioned inaudibly as he dreaded the idea that he’d just arrived and already he would be put to some form of exercise. And here he’d though he would have it a little easier now that he’d actually made it to school. Not to mention he was winded after a long run.

“I will explain more in detail what we’ll be doing once you’re all their, though I’m sure some of you may have an inkling of an idea already.” He chuckled softly ignoring the relative fear on young Isamu’s face. “Still, for now, I recommend everyone follow closely and move quickly. There’s only so much time in the day.” He said simply before turning to walk out of the room. From there he would lead the students to the field where he would direct them all to the student locker rooms. Maybe somewhere down the line he would be able to tell them where to go without worry, but for now he would have to take charge. That was the mark of a good homeroom teacher.

**********

Isamu hadn’t even had time to properly thank and greet the classmate who’d helped him up before Mr. Kemikaru had begun his class. Even so, he might not have been much the conversationalist. He couldn’t help but noticed that just about everyone was a giant in comparison to himself. Not only that, his head was practically still spinning. And yet there they were, following Mr. Kemikaru, at least he was, to the field area where they would likely have a small display of quirks and abilities. How could he hope to match up?

The small boy quivered as Kemikaru directed him and others to the locker rooms. His mind was running a hundred miles per hour. He shook his head as he put on the gym uniform. He took a deep breath. “Don’tFreakOutDon’tFreakOutDon’tFreakOutDon’tFreakOutDon’tFreakOut.” He repeated over and over under his breath. What were they all capable of? How could he match up? He was tiny. How? Isamu was on the verge of freaking out, despite his mantra.

Hisano Okabe

@Avant

Hisano nodded casually as the stranger took a seat next to her. "Hisano Okabe." She replied plainly after receiving his name. This would have been the time to make small talk, had events not played out the way they had. Aside from the general chattiness of the class at large, a few incidents distracted her from talking. A small looking boy came tumbling in through the door. Hisano didn't know whether to remark at his clumsiness or the fact that he looked like he belonged in a much lower level of schooling. There wasn't much time to spend gawking at him, as Noah decided this was the best time to bust out their quirk. Hisano wasn't even sure if they were supposed to be allowed to do that at this point. The events kept on coming, however, as their teacher decided this was the perfect time to finally speak up and begin their little introduction.

He didn't spend a lot of time talking though, and gave them the simple task of getting into their gym clothes and meeting on the field. He seemed intent on being as vague and mysterious as possible. As he prompted everyone to leave, Hisano followed suit, only pausing to offer a farewell to Yoshio. "I'd offer to go together, but I think that might be a problem, if you know what I mean. See ya on the field, Yoshi." With that, she was off, and she was going to get changed like the rest of the students and prepare for whatever the teacher had in store.
