Beatrice Decker

Location: The Meeting (Three-way intersection near the Hershall Norred Water Plant)

Beatrice listened to the information that Gavin was able to provide about Eden. She knew just about as much as any other Newnan resident did about their nefarious neighbors in Peachtree City. In her opinion, however, no one could know more than Ryan had. He hadn't simply experienced the devastation that Eden could bring - he had been part of them. Ironically, it may have been a good time for the most irritating Ridgeway girl to be here - O'Reily probably told her something about Eden. Love made people do strange things.

Beatrice nodded at Thana's comments about her choice of location, though she didn't move just yet. Her own skill set was more cloak-and-dagger based. It was how she performed her side job in Justice, finding anyone, no matter where or who. If there was a team that would be sneaking into Eden before going on the attack, it'd be ideal for her. Instead, the approach seemed to be two assaults - one protected and the other up close and personal. She was leaning towards the truck, though her attention shifted rapidly as she heard Gavin get slammed into the side of the tank.

She couldn't stifle a slight chuckle, with a grin on her normally still face. "Can't imagine that's the first time someone's done that to him," Beatrice said under her breath.

The others started to divy themselves up and Beatrice noticed a glaring pattern: the two most unstable and trigger-happy people would be in the tank. Everyone else was headed for the truck. "I'll join the tank," Beatrice said, slinging her bag over her shoulder and then picking up Ryan's as well. She hopped out of the truck bed and headed over to the tank. They'd need someone with a level head in there - someone who could reign in the Tank-Girl and the Texas Ranger if needed.

And it didn't hurt that the survival rate in the tank seemed to be much better.

Gavin, Thana, & Lola

Location: On Their Way To Hell

Lola smirked a bit and snatched the radio from Alexander as he offered it to Thalia. "No problem pops. You keep the girls company," she said before looking over at Thalia. "Watch your ass Jet and wait for my signal," she added. Glancing at Gavin she reached up and awkwardly draped an arm over his shoulder. "So you're with me cowboy?"

Gavin looked down at Lola and chuckled. "Hells yeah. Gets to hunker down in a bessy there? Sounds more fun than roping a run away steer on Christmas!"

Lola glanced over at Thalia, her eyes widening slightly. "Whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean."

"Don't ask," Thana chimed in before nodding in Alexanders direction. "Climb in. Bed of the truck of bucket seats in the back. Doesn't matter, we'll drop the truck off half a mile out and trapes it the rest of the way," she said. It looked like the one called Angel, or Jet, or was it Thalia? Well the short haired brunette was coming with her in the truck.

"Right, girl time. Whatever the hell that is," she said before smirking a bit at Beatrices comment. "No, it wasn't."

"Fuck, I hope it ain't the last," Gavin said with a broad grin on his childish features as he pushed his unruly curls out of his face.

"Kinky!" Lola added before waving and getting ready to go. Gavin followed suit but waited for Beatrice to climb up the tank and get in, offering his hand like the gentleman he was if she needed it. Once all three of them were in he closed the hatch. Pulling out the map he sat down and let out a breath.

"Alrights in this rig, wes shoulda get there b'fore the others so guess wes get close, lays back and wait fer word from them?" Gavin said as he looked between Beatrice and Lola.

Thana started up the truck and handed over her map to Thalia once she was loaded up. After Alexander had situated herself she started up the truck and backed up slowly, pulling a three point turn before heading off down the road. "So, kill ever last one of them?" she said in a voice that was just as calm as if she was asking if Thalia and Alexander wanted something to drink.

Alexander Polawski

Location:Going up the country

"...Damn straight." Alexander said to Thalia as she turned to head for the truck. So it would seem that they were going together, making his radio redudant. But the thing that got to him was the first positive thing he had been told for a long time. It surprised him shortly, though not long enough for him to register Lola promptly snatching the radio out of his hands. "Don't change the frequency, I'll check in the truck. Call sign Kiwi, right?" Alexander was half serious, military style, half chuckling at that last part, not forgetting the scolding Thalia had given him earlier.

Alexander nodded to Thana, climbing onto the back of the truck and -trying to- sit comfortably. With the truck starting up and heading out On the road again Alexander pulled out the first radio, turning it on and switching to the frequency they had used back during his tea-mission. Then Thana asked them perhaps the calmest question which wasn't supposed to be calm. Alexander looked at Thana with a raised brow, fiddling with the radio for a moment before he answered. "If that's the orders, then yes Ma'am. Grab the supplies would be a good secondary objective, if I may note." Alexander turned back to his radio, pressing down the tranmission button and speaking into it. "This is Mugs here. Do you read me, Kiwi, over?"

Amelia Payne

&

Raymond Mendoza

Location: Outer Wall Ruins

As Raymond does his best to climb through the rubble of the crumbling wall, Raymond paused for a moment as he caught some movement in the corner of his eye. When he turns his head Raymond stands there frozen as he sees Tiffany, letting out a sigh of relief. "Tiffany i'm right here!" Raymond calls out to her, but then he pauses and sees Richard there as well. Then he watches as the two of them start to kiss and make out with one another, he then looked at Amelia. "Hurry up we need to get to her!"

Ray started to awkwardly try and climb and 'hop' his way over to her, when he was about to grab her he pauses and sees her falling down. Time seemed to slow down as he watched her fall and getting impaled on something below, tears started to go down his face as he watched her laying dying in front of him.

"Sana..." Amelia saw her friend once more and once more the woman was not human anymore. Sana was a walker, but her mind right now realized this was not real. She blinked and then started to climb, but every attempt was in vain as she slipped each time. Causing her some ammount of stress, rather sure bruising that was surely bound to show eventually and concern that the debry might not stand them passing across.

What she didn't expect to happen was the illusion fall and stab itself in a manner that had it been other situation and other visage, Amelia might have found amusing, but not right now. She looked at Ray, who was looking at the direction of the Sana. Was he seeing things too? Judging by the 'Tiffany' he said, it appeared so." Ray, snap out of it! That's not Tiffany, it's an illusion! I'm seeing Sana instead! Focus, we need to escape this place!" She called out to him, hoping he comes to his senses.

Raymond looks closely at Tiffany as he tries to get up to her, but hears Amelia's voice trying to get his attention turning his head to look at Amelia then over at Tiffany. He shook his head seeing a slight haze around her body, rubbing his eyes and saw Ray turned to look at her realizing that he was just seeing things again. "Sorry.." Raymond said as he awkwardly got up and started to try and make his way back towards Amelia, before falling down groaning loudly as he looks down seeing the stump of his leg now stuck in the rubble. "Help me please." Raymond asked.

Amelia was about to quickly move over to help him free himself when the visions hit her again. The rubble was walkers. Everything was walkers! THEY WERE WALKING ON AN GIANT PILE OF WALKERS! The rotting bastars were clawing at them, biting and pulling them into the sea of bodies where no survival was apparent. Amelia's heart and mind nearly lost it at the sight. Her senses were betraying her! She could smell, touch, hear and see the walkers, but her mind did not give away just yet!" This' not real! They cannot just appear!" Amelia stated to convince herself as she leaned over to quickly free Ray's trapped limb from the rubble! She could see the hands, teeth and claws, the rot she was touching to free him from their grasps!' That's not real.. do not think, ignore, just move, SURVIVE!' Were the words racing through her mind as she freed him and helped him to stand up! Amelia firmly took stance, offering her shoulder so she can help him move faster through the destroyed buildings and wall. In her mind she was stepping on faces and hands that were reaching to get them, but she focused...' MOVE! ' She roared in her mind, urging herself forward, holding and helping Ray.

Raymond continued to try and struggle to get his stump out of the rubble looking up at Amelia as she finally approached him, it looked like there was something going on. Looking around as he could see anything yet, he felt Amelia grabbing him and helping him back up to his feet. "Lets keep on the move." Raymond said trying to avoid looking at the hallucination of Tiffany still there, when they finally cleared the remains of the walls Raymond looked at Tiffany and held onto Amelia tightly taking in a deep breath as he tried to calm himself down. "Amelia are you okay?" Raymond finally asked.

Amelia was not fine. Not fine at all, but her mind was a mess right now and more or less she was holding together on good wishes, pixie dust and the star allignment once in a decade. Yeah she was not in good state, but that made her eyes appear a little unfocused as she looked at him." I... got to move... Let's go." Was all she could reply to him before pointing in the direction of the treeline." We need to get away... walkers will show up soon. Got to get away to safety first." She stated in an almost hollow voice.

Raymond could tell that Amelia wasn't alright, he wasn't either still shaken up losing Meg and seeing the hallucination of Tiffany dying there in front of him. He simply nodded as he continued to walk alongside Amelia using her for support as best he can while also being keeping an eye out for any walkers. He had Meghna's gun in hand still he would occasionally look over his shoulder at their crumbling home, before continuing forward towards the treeline.

Well all things considered, they first had to get all the way up the wall in rubble and then down. that was going to take a while. Amelia pulled all her strenght together to provide Ray with as much help as she can. The climbing was going to be rather hard with him, but she had no choice! She wouldn't allow herself the alternative choice... no she refused to think of abandoning him like this." Put the weight on me..." She said to Ray finally." Focus on moving up and just lean on me. Let's survive this." She said, still seeing themselves stepping on walkers.

Raymond nodded as they continued to climb through the rubble, it was very slow and awkward for him trying to make sure that he wouldn't cause Amelia to fall and get hurt. "Stop if you ever do feel like you are going to lose balance." Raymond said, he continued to just focus on the objective survive and try and group up with the others. Raymond did as he was told but he didn't put all of his weight on Amelia just enough to make sure he wouldn't hamper her. "Just focus on getting over this." Ray said to himself as well as to Amelia.

Climb was rather hard, progress slow, but at this point perception of time was a little warped. Shock and terror had taken hold of her mind and despise the fact that she realize it wasn't truth, it was enough to put her in an almost automatic self preservation state of mind that shut a lot of alarms going in her mind. Thus she didn't even reply to Ray's comment.

Slowly but surely the top was getting ever so closer." Almost..." She muttered, her body straining with the effort, but there was no other option at this point.

He could hear Amelia's strain in her voice as they slowly started to get to the top of the wall of rubble, he was trying to remain as calm as he could as they walked. Raymond stumbled forward slightly but managed to catch himself, he really wished that he had another leg or at least a prosthetic to help him move faster. He needed to take a few moments to rest, but he knew that he couldn't do it right now they were still to close, and Walkers could show up at any moment.

With some final struggles, Amelia finally pulled Ray up at the top of the rubble as she took a breath, allowing herself to take a moment to rest as she looked at the path downwards. That was a long way down and she had to help Ray make it all the way. Taking a second deep breath, she looked at Ray." Got to keep moving." She stated and began moving again, carefully picking her footing. This was going to take a while. Her breathing was a little heavy, but somehow Amelia kept it together." How... are... you... holding...up?" She asked Ray, trying to get a hold of the situation and condition of both of them.

Once they gotten to the top Raymond leaned forward taking a few deep breathes as he looked over his shoulder seeing most of the destruction behind them. Ray turned his head to look at Amelia as she asked if he was alright, truthfully he was not feeling great at all, the hallucination of seeing Tiffany getting impaled and losing his home, and seeing Meghna dying in front of him. "Not great at all.." Raymond said, but they needed to continue Ray slowly started to follow Amelia down the other side of the rubble.

The descend was a decent amount harder than the climbing on the rubble. Because of the weight distribution, Amelia bared a pretty decent load and more than once felt the ground beneath her feet almost give away. Though in her eyes it was a sea of zombies. Especially one time where she nearly slipped and to not fall, she stepped reall hard on what appeared to be in a walker's jaw. She had no idea how she was keeping together with what she was seening and what had transpired.

"Walkers make for good footing... hehe...ha.." Amelia found herself commenting on her seen reality right now and letting a rather suspicious laugh. She was not really thinking completely normal anymore.

Raymond looked towards Amelia as they continued their decent and looked at her with a confused look when she mentioned that Walkers were made for good footing. "There aren't any Walkers at all Amelia, whatever you are seeing it isn't real." As much as Ray was worried about himself, and trying to survive the day Ray was also getting concerned over Amelia's mental state. "Just continue to get down safely alright?" Ray said as he was careful not to put to much weight on Amelia as they moved further down.

"I know, I know... hhehee..." Amelia kind of couldn't help it anymore. She softly snickered again, picking her footing to descend as stable as possible which was pretty much walkers all acorss! On their heads... on their hands or even in their mouths! It was just a little too much to bear without making a joke of it.

She didn't really say anything else beside soft snickering every now and then as the distance to the ground was getting ever so smaller." Almost..."

Raymond looked towards Amelia, he was trying his best to try and make sense of what she was saying as far as he could see there wasn't any walkers as far as he could see. And yet she was still snickering like she had been on some kind of high, Raymond gently patted his friend on the shoulder as they finally managed to get to the bottom of the rubble slowly. "When we get someplace safe we will try and figure out what to do." Ray looked down at his shirt for a moment, he did need to get a look and see if he had any severe injuries.

"Mhm..." Amelia vaguely replied as they had finally reached the ground. With a half frown, half smile she nodded and pointed at the treeline." We should get away first ass you ssaid... then the plan... these bags have those bugout plans right?" Amelia stated, resuming walking. The tree weren't far.

"There should be, and enough supplies to get by for awhile." Raymond said as he managed to get his only foot down on the ground, looking back towards the mound that they just scaled before continuing forward. They slowly started to make their way towards the tree line he was worried for Amelia more. She was seeing walkers that weren't even there, he was also scared of seeing other things that weren't there as well. "Just keep focused ahead of what is in front of you." He said as they continued walking and finally made it towards the tree line together.

"I am... I think... hope... I... know." Amelia replied, slightly shacking her head, but still unable to get rid of the visions or the way she found it so bloody hilarious. Maybe only the thought of Riley kept Amelia from losing grip completely. It was her one thread of reality she wanted to return to more than anything. As they were almost at the forest's edge, she looked at Ray." Your wound hurts?" She asked and looked at the wound on his chest.

Ray looked down for a moment he really hadn't the chance to notice he was just focused on everything that had just happened. "I'll live, I've had worse shit happen." He said light heartedly pointing at the leg. "I didn't get bit so that's also a plus." Ray looked up at the trees he was still really worried about Tiffany, there wasn't anyway he could have gotten back to try and look for her. He just hoped he would be able to see her safe and sound. Raymond continued to walk forward until they were close enough and entered the tree line that was close to the former Newnan wall.

Tiffany Lyle and Jack Hudson

Location: The Mess Hall -> Sana's House

Tiffany's smile confused Jack slightly, though he imagined she was likely just trying to put on a brave face. He could smell the fumes escaping into Newnan's air - the fumes he was inhaling with each breath. Jack couldn't help but cough, with the gas making it harder to breathe. "Any idea where this gas is comin' from? Distillahie, maybe?" Jack asked, turning around. Heading northwest seemed like the safest way to get out of Newnan.

His heart clenched as he spotted familiar auburn hair near the medical garden. There were supplies there - of course! He grinned, entirely relieved to know that Tatiana was safe. She was getting supplies and then getting the hell out of dodge - a logical choice. She was a survivor for a long time before the world ended. If anyone was making it out alive, it was her.

"Tatiana! She's ovah there, Tiff!" Jack explained, before breaking off into a sprint. Despite making a beeline for the medical garden, she had vanished. Glancing around wildly, he nearly had a nervous break, until he saw her again - this time climbing over what used to be the inner gate. Sana and Bryn's home was in that direction. She must not have noticed him - understandable, with the general chaos of Newnan.

"Tatiana! Right behind ya!" Jack called out. Supplies first - there'd be some in Sana's house - then they'd just be a few seconds behind her. The three of them could follow Newnan's bug out plan. Hell, Tiffany and Ray could be reunited as well. He continued to rush forward, not even suspecting that Tatiana may not have been real.

Before Tiffany could answer Jack's question, he ran off, shouting for Tatiana. Tiffany looked but she didn't see the woman. However, it made her feel better knowing she was all right. It gave her hope that the others would be ok too. She was about to follow when something else caught her eye. Or rather, someone.

It was Ray running away now. However, something was a bit off. It seemed Ray grew his leg back! Maybe while she was digging the graves he was fitted with a prosthetic. That made her feel better now, especially with all that has happened. She called for him, "Ray, wait up!" She followed where she saw him run.

She ran past the medical garden and climbed over the debris with some effort. She glanced around, but he was nowhere to be seen. He was fast now, maybe? Two legs would do that to you. She called for him again, "Ray? Where did you go? We need to leave together."

Out of the corner of his eye, Jack caught a glimpse of an orange blur - Schrodinger? What the hell was the cat doing here? Maybe Tatiana had grabbed the little devil on her way out. She was awfully fond of the cat. The bastard was sprinting around the corner, heading towards the corner of the outer wall remains. "Vhere are you?"

His heart pounded, hearing Tatiana once more. Screw the supplies - he needed to make sure his family was alright. They could get supplies later. Hell, Tatiana probably grabbed enough supplies for everyone. "Right behind ya!" Jack shouted out. "Right where Sana's house is - was!" he added. Since he could hear her, she had to be near. He just needed to get a better idea of where he voice was. "Where are ya? You okay? The baby?"

There was no reply.

Tiffany looked around, but saw now signs of Ray. It hit her that he wasn't there at all. Was it another trick of her mind like her losing her sight before? It may be a side effect of being thrashed about by the destruction of Newnan. She had to get it together. Now, more than ever, she needed to get to safety and find Ray.

Tiffany remembered the bug out bags. However, she also wanted to make sure Jack was ok too. If Jack did find Tatiana, he would find a bug out bag and the closest one (she assumed) was forward in Sana's place. So Tiffany spun around, but as she did so, she tumbled over the debris, falling to the ground. It stung a bit, but only her pride was wounded.

She stood up and made her way back to the Sana's to get a bug out bag and, hopefully, Jack as well.

Thalia Carmichael

Location: The Other Side of Armageddon

"Hasta el Ăşltimo hijo de puta allĂ.1" said Thalia promptly, speaking in perfectly inflected Spanish. She had no use for survivors, needed no new friends from among a group of murderers and assholes that were directly or indirectly responsible for the deaths of people she cared about. She took the map from Thana and gave it a once over, noting that there was one town in particular marked in central Georgia. She doubted that it was a battle plan, seeing as it was laminated, and not very recently. Still, it was a useful, detailed map.

Sighing, Thalia looked at Astrid's shield in front of her. It was a fine, strong device, made to withstand a serious beating. While a little cumbersome for her general preference, the woman was specifically trained in its use, and not just as a thing to hide behind. She had claimed it for her own the moment she shuffled off its previous owner from her undead coil, though despite this, it would always be Astrid's Shield. They were not fast friends, Thalia and Astrid. Not like herself and Bridgette. There was a huge amount of respect for the Shieldmaiden though. She was one of the few that passed along survival skills to her that had saved her life on more than a few occasions, not to mention had helped herself and Lola over the course of an irregular winter. Those two women helped her adapt to the world as it was now, and she would be forever grateful to them for it. She could survive, even thrive in it, Dama Muerte willing. And the shield was a damned useful item. If she could have gotten hold of one of Bridgette's spears, that would have been massive. No one could make a killing tool like that tall, foulmouthed bitch. And from the look of the smoking crater that used to be Bree's last home, she wouldn't be seeing one ever again. It was a shame.

It suddenly hit her: Thalia had left her own spear in the Tank. Primitive, but damned effective as a stabbing tool with a point as hard as copper. Not the kind of thing that would fit well in the cab of this truck, though. Undeterred, she kept a light conversation going with Thana, to get more information about where they were going and better feel out the lady who had assumed command of this half of the expedition. "Yah, girl talk." Her tone was such that it was difficult to tell whether or not she was being sarcastic. "You know - Where did you get your hair done? Meet any cute boys? Hell, meet any cute girls? Oh (and here's a good one), where are we going, exactly? I don't see Eden on the map. I've got a lot more, but let's start there, lady."

A thought jostled loose in Thalia's brain, "Wait, no... what was up with that guy in the truck? Hell, what is up with that truck? He joining us up the road?" She had originally assumed that Thana and the guy she was with was there to box them in like some kind of trap, but the temperament of the group even after their loss made her begin to reconsider the overall feel of these people. Then again, they were all going to the same place to kill a whole lot of people. Perspective was necessary.

Ashton, Riley, Niesha & Ravi

Location: Outside of the Funeral, North of the Franklin Wall

Ash's head hurt. He could feel the dull throb of his pulse inside of his skull, where it seemed to magnify many times over. The Hordebuster pulled a little closer to where the outer walls used to be around the Franklin Addition. Actually pulling his vehicle inside would be foolish, seeing as the damage was only getting worse, but it was the nearest place that he found where survivors might have a chance at escaping the hell that Newnan had become. Peering out to look for people, Ash was surprised as hell to glance to the passenger's seat and see Alicia, looking just as she did in life, sitting right where Thana had earlier.

"Now that the chica is gone, why don't you just finish things and come with me? You know you ain't gonna see that gringa again," she tells Ash as she leans over and runs her finger down his cheek. He could feel heat and pressure on the side of his face. He could smell the shampoo that she used to use. She was as good as there. But to come with her? She couldn't mean...

"No!" he growled, slapping her hand away from his face. Surprise slapped back that time. He could feel his hand connect with her wrist, giving him momentary doubt as to what he was experiencing. "I saw your corpse. I put you down. You aren't here, Alicia. Why the fuck am I arguing with you?"

"Oh please, the place is burning. Stop fighting it. You've been thinking about this for a long time."

The truth was, in darker moments in his recent history, he had been thinking about eating a bullet. Not all of the time, but the thought had come up more than once. Ash gripped the dog tags around his neck, both his and Thana's. People needed him now, and he had someplace to be. Where the hell were those survivors?

Niesha continued towards the hoardbuster, intent on getting there, on finding another survive, and a chance to survive. At the sound of a voice, Niesha stopped, glancing about, stumbling back slightly, as if she thought that she'd gone too far, crossed some line to hear Sophia's voice again.

"It never ends, until it does. It's okay for it to end,"

Was it in her head, or in her ear? For a moment, she couldn't tell. "No... " She couldn't be hearing her voice again... could she? Part of her wanted to... the other part knew she had a job to do, and she couldn't let herself dwell on it... a figment of her imagination could wait. Couldn't it?

As the voice- her voice whispered in her ear once more, her breath against her skin... Niesha shuddered, sure that if she turned, she'd see Sophia. She closed her eyes tightly, trying to resist, to keep herself from turning. She wasn't strong enough, and she turned, opening her eyes, She was not prepared to see Sophia standing there. Without thinking, Niesha took a step towards her, just as Sophia disappeared around the corner. Niesha hesitated, hovering where she was,

"Sophia... "

She couldn't do this, even as she looked, desperately, to where Sophia had disappeared. She couldn't follow... but she couldn't make herself turn away.

Riley caught something in the corner of her eye, she turned her head to look at it she looked confused for a moment and shook her head and rubbed her eyes letting out a slight sigh. "The fucking hell?" Riley said to herself turning her attention towards Ravi as she heard the Hordebuster starting to come down the road and approached the outer wall. "That would be our ride out of here." Riley answered, she started to make her way over towards the Hordebuster. She was actually glad to see Captain Tight Ass for once, as she started to wave at him to get his attention.

Of course the advanced civilization (advanced by today's standards) had armored vehicles. It seemed that Newnan's residents had won the proverbial jackpot of the apocalypse. Ravi was about to head over to the heavily modified contraption when out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a face that he hadn't seen in ages, aside from his nightmares. As the funeral home collapsed behind them, Ravi spluttered a bit as dust went into his mouth, but it hardly bothered him. He had seen her. She had the same brunette curls and bright blue eyes, filled with determination. She was healthy, whole, happy.

The last time he saw Liv, he killed her.

"Liv...?" Ravi whispered, unable to discern if she had actually been there. There was too much dust and debris from the collapsing building for him to catch another glimpse of her. But he had killed her - he remembered it, as much as he wished he didn't. There were times when if he were to close his eyes, it was all he could see - her still body, slain by his hand. He couldn't save the one person that mattered most. And now, the most he could do was stare in shock, unable to move or do much more than desperately hope to catch another glimpse of her - that somehow, she was still alive and well.

Meanwhile, back in the Hordebuster, Ash was quite busy losing what remained of his mental faculties. His headache was joined by a sense of growing anxiety, a feeling to which he was not thoroughly accustomed. The only saving grace of his condition was that he no longer saw Alicia riding shotgun and prompting him to off himself. Still, given the state of things around him, it was a token grace. The voice that he reflexively knew was a part of him seemed to have a lot to say, although in the din around him and the state Ash was in, his voice of reason only came out in muffled, unintelligible murmurs, like a voice speaking through a wall.

Ash wanted desperately wanted to keep a single thought in his head for more than three seconds. Like the voice in his head, his own thoughts betrayed him, lost in a jumble of swirling, messy obstacles that prevented them from reaching full clarity. "Damnit..." he growled, trying like mad to piece together the last few minutes. He just couldn't right then. Frustration mounted and the confused Captain began lightly bludgeoning the steering wheel in front of himself with his forehead, over and over. The pressure was enough to set off the horn three or four times in short succession, snapping him to sit bolt upright and look around when he realized what he had done.

The sound of the horn caused Niesha to turn back towards the hoardbuster, a pitiful sound escaping her. Torn between saving those that lived, and finding out where the Sophia-illusion had gone, Niesha was at a loss for what to do. What did the horn mean? Why did it cause her heart beat to quicken, her breath to come in short gasps?

What was she forgetting, what danger? It didn't seemed to come to mind... and Niesha looked back towards where Sophia had disappeared. She wanted to go after her, imagination or not, and her heart ached. With loss? Hope? But she'd seen Sophia's body... As her mind tried to figure everything out, Niesha was sationary for a moment. Why was that making her worried as well?

Walkers. The horn. A chaotic moment of clarity had Niesha turning towards Riley and Ravi, "Oh" She shoved Sophia out of her mind for the moment- she had a job to do, and she was going to do it. "We should get to the hoardbuster!"

Riley turned and paused for a moment as she watched the funeral home starting to collapse in front of them, knowing that she had laid her sister's body in there. She sighed slightly to herself, before jumping slightly when she started to hear voices in her head again just as the Hordebuster started to make a lot of noise. Though she couldn't make any heads or tails what the voices were even saying, she shook it off as stress and seeing her sister commit suicide in front of her.

Riley started to continue to make her way towards the Hordebuster, she wasn't even paying attention to the ice that still hadn't melted yet. She started to lose her footing and eventually she landed on her ass, groaning to herself but quickly started to get back up again and made the last few steps to the hulking beast of a machine. Riley had a bit of a time getting to the door but managed to open it, looking over to Ashton. "Thank god you are alright." Riley said as she looked at him with a concerned look. "You okay bossman?"

Ravi came to the realization that Liv was nothing more than an illusion. The guilt of not being able to save her weighed heavily on him as he sighed, preparing himself mentally to head on over to the armored vehicle to join the others. He turned his head as he heard a thump, noting that Riley seemed to be alright. She had climbed into the truck and Ravi was about to join her when he heard the sound of shifting rubble. It might have been remnants from the wall or from the collapsing funeral home - but in the end, it doesn't matter. The result was all the same.

The debris pierced through Ravi's right lung.

Ravi dropped to the ground, gasping for breath but unable to get any air. Blood had splattered and he was spluttering. As a medical examiner, he knew that there was no hope for him - but he couldn't help but instinctively still try to fill his remaining lung with air. Liv...I'll see you soon...for real this time he thought desperately. His body went slack as he gave up the ghost, and according to the religion he ticked on a census years ago, he became one with the Force at that moment.

At least his beard still looked banging.

Niesha watched in horror as the wall, the funeral home, whatever, came crashing down on Ravi. All thoughts of Sophia pushed to the back of her mind- she couldn't seem to push it out of her mind completely- Niesha moved towards Ravi, not concerned for her safety at the moment. She had to tried... She didn't think she could live with herself if she didn't. Part of her knew that even if she could do something, it would be too late.

She knew it was too late. She'd failed again.

it didn't matter that it was irrational, that she couldn't have done anything to stop the rumble coming down. She just knew she should have been able to do something. Was she condemning Riley to doom as well? Her gaze went to where the imaginary Sophia had disappeared, and that desire to follow became stronger.

No.

She had to know, she had to, if Kristina was alive, Victor, Tati... She couldn't go to nothingness without knowing. She turned away from the sight of Ravi, and towards the hoardbuster, making her way to it. The challenge of getting up into that monstrosity was a welcome one, even as she stood there, looking up. "... I might need a hand... I'm tiny"

Ash hadn't said anything to Riley, though he was looking over in her direction. If anything, he was looking for any subtle piece of certainty that he was actually seeing the young lady climbing up and into his truck, and that this wasn't another hallucination brought about by whatever the hell was wrong with him. He was fairly sure that he did just see a building collapse well behind Riley, depositing a random, shaggy piece of that building into the torso of the doctor he had formally met earlier that day. The mildly unhinged Captain stared dully at the scene unfolding in front of him, blanking at the sight of the people whose job it was to guide and protect.

He didn't reply to Niesha, either. He did manage to say, seemingly to the air around him, "If you guys are really you, get in. Seat unfolds in the back. There's a bed back there, too. Try not to bleed on it." Today, Ash had lost his home, his best friend, and was separated from his love. It took a lot out of him. "Climb in. We need to move, now."

Riley turned her head to watch as a piece of debris from one of the crumbling buildings, she wasn't sure whether it was from the wall or the funeral home. And it had lodged itself right into the new guy Ravi's chest, looking away she really had no clue if she should run straight forward and grab the bugout supplies or not. But the way everything seemed right now it would just be a suicide run, at least they had Ashton's ride with them and the boss himself.

Riley took a step down and offered to help Niesha up into the massive truck, turning her attention back towards Ashton seemed that he was also going through some kind of shit. "Of course we are real." Riley said sarcastically once Niesha got in Riley climbed in as well, tossing her pack off of her shoulders and tossed her gear into the back and climbed towards the back. Riley would look back to where the funeral home once stood where Chloe's body was left behind whipping away a few tears and then looked away.

Beatrice Decker

Location: The Meeting (Three-way intersection near the Hershall Norred Water Plant)

Beatrice snorted at Lola's exclamation of kinky. From everything she'd seen so far, it didn't seem like Thana wanted to do anything of the sort with Gavin. It seemed a little more likely for Thana to try to take out a restraining order on the man - if there was anyone left around to enforce it. The women of the world would just have to continue slamming Gavin against the side of tanks, then, until he hit on the wrong girl and evoked an even harsher response.

Beatrice climbed into the tank, hesitating for a moment at Gavin's offer of a hand. It wasn't that he bothered her on a personal level - she was just self sufficient by nature. "Thanks," Beatrice said in acknowledgement, despite not taking the offered help. She was a bitch, but she didn't actively try to be one. She was a stoic by nature, preferring to keep things bottled up and rely on no one else. Sometimes people got the wrong impression and assumed that it was something more personal. She didn't really care if they thought she disliked them on a personal level - if they got that impression, so be it. They were probably right, anyways.

Mugs? That's cute. She heard the crackle of the radio as - she assumed the old man - attempted to make contact with Lola. The Australian struck Beatrice as the type to give just about everyone she met a nickname. She could deal with her. She'd dealt with plenty of oddballs in foster homes and in juvi growing up. There were moments where she felt that Portland had nothing on Justice. "Sounds reasonable. We want to time this properly or it won't work."

World Narrative

Another had lost their life in Newnan. Mother nature was proving that no matter how much planning you put into something, it didn't matter in the end. Some things you just couldn't plan for or get around. The initial hit was bad enough, the after shocks made it worse. That didn't seem to be enough - Mother Nature decided that she was going to ensure that no one ever stepped foot back in Newnan and lived. The ground shook again, more flames jumped up from where the distillery once stood, additional explosions rang out as more buildings toppled. The list of missing was long and from the looks of things, could anyone have survived it? There was no chance to look, it was time to run and I do mean run because as every second ticks Newnan is falling further into an abyss, collapsing into itself and the Walkers are now arriving...

Move your asses - anyone still within the walls at the end of this next round is done for and there is nothing even LLA can do for you. 7 Days peeps to get your ass out of dodge. Your groups are divided up as before. PM me for rolls. Start your posts off reacting to the final shake of Newnan - you all are lucky, you survived the final "shake" - well maybe not the final shake but the lat one before all Newnan is engulfed. Good luck and may the odds be in your favor. (LOL Yeah right)

Gavin, Thana, & Lola

Location: On The Road To Hell

Thana hit the breaks as the road started to shake. She was glad that the crazed woman driving the tank was keeping her distance and was able to break and bring the mammoth machine to a stop as well before running them over. Looking in the rear view mirror Thanas lips thinned as more smoke went up into the sky. Her first thought was that Ash had to be dead by now. It was a morbid thought but Thana wasn't exactly one to place a lot of hope in luck. It never really seemed to work out that way. Luck didn't care if people loved each other, if others were trying to help. It took who it wanted when it wanted and to hell with what anyone thought. Swallowing slightly she pushed down whatever emotions were threatening to slip to the surface and let out a long breath before looking over towards Thalia. The woman had questions and that was something she could focus on, it made things easier. Putting the truck back in gear she started going again.

"Eden is the groups name. The location is a gold course in Peachtree City. I don't have a lot of information but what I do know from Captain Holloway, the man driving the huge truck, is that they are a semi terrorist group that seems to take joy in screwing people over. They are responsible for several attacks on where James, the black neck you met, came from. They killed my sister. From what I am gathering they killed your people as well. So, we're going to kill them." Her voice was calm, too calm. It was as if she was disconnected with the actual situation. Her voice became even more flat when she continued.

"As I said, the man in the truck is Captain Holloway. US Army, Engineer. He ran Newnan. He is going back in that truck, what he calls the Hordebuster, to try to find survivors. They will meet up with us at one of the locations on the map I gave you if they survive. If they are not there we are to proceed to Mexico Beach Fla, where another outpost should be, to have a last ditch effort to regroup further down the way. As far as the Hordebuster goes, I have no idea. He seems to have jerry rigged the thing together. Probably a good thing. Road trips need protection but looking at that tank of yours, seems you girls know that."

"Oh wee, Mugs! This be Cowboy, Kiwi is driving and damn this be fun. We read ya loud and clear. You be keeping those ladies safe now and I do the same with these girls. Let Strawberry know we are breaking off at the next intersection and will radio back in when in position! Gods speed man!" Gavin chimed in over the radio before handing it off to Beatrice. "Mind holding that for me little lady? I gots to be checking the sight on this baby to makes sures she ready to go," he said as he found an small open space on the floor of the tank as Lola got the thing back into gear.

The Kiwi was bouncing around and having a blast of a time, a much happier blast than what was going on in Newnan right then. Gavin went quiet, his mind drifting back to Newnan. His best mate better be okay. He didn't know Ash but he seemed like a right stand up guy. Gavin wasn't stupid, he figured there was something going on between Strawberry and the Cap but that didn't mean he was giving on the woman. Nor his best mate. Taking a breath he pushed his curls out of his head and got to double checking his new weapon. He was going to put the thing to good use.

"So, tell me mates, what brings you here? Vacation? Honeymoon? Me personally, I'm touring the country and gonna hit all the historical places of interest. Any of those around here? Heard you people here in Georgia have a big rock somewhere with carvings on it and a mini grand canyon? How is something both mini and grand? Like a Mini Grand Piano?" she asked as she bounced around in her seat. As they reached the intersection Gavin had mentioned the tank turned off to go the main roads up to Peachtree city while Thana kept things moving on the back ones so they could swing around from the other side and come in quiet.

Alexander Polawski

Location:Going up the country

Alexander didn't start to enjoy the prosect of killing more now, but the new intel did make it easier to allow the operations they were about to commence. Murderers and terrorists, didn't that sound familiar. But who was Alexander to argue? Better to be on their side than those about to be fucked with. He continued to listen to Thana tell Thalia about the truck-man, Captain Holloway, US Army. Finally someone who knew how to handle themselves, good ol' grunts. Not that he said that out loud to his 'superior' from the Navy.

"Roger that, Cowboy. I'll do my best to keep them checked during the DX. Watch your head, the steel duck gives one hell of a head. Over and out!" Alexander was surprised to hear the southern man, Gavin answer the radio, but it did make sense that Lola was busy manning the Stuart. And if Gavin was half as mad as he sounded like, he knew Lola was in safe hands. Perhaps. Hopefully. Alexander leaned forward to the two ladies in front. He figured that Thalia wasn't the one he had called 'Strawberry', not that he got why that was a fitting name for Thana. Sorry to interrupt, Captain, but Cowboy...the southern guy, Gavin was it? They're breaking of on the next intersection and getting the tank into position. Until then, we're silent and on our own."

Thalia Carmichael

Location: The Other Side of Armageddon

The young woman braced herself on the dash as the truck decelerated to an solid stop. The stop was necessary, however, as the ground beneath them started to shake yet again, pummeling what used to be an inhabited area into dust. She felt badly for these people even though she did not know them; they were friends and family to people that were her friends and family. That fact alone was not enough to warrant her sticking her neck out, but there was so much more going on here than a heartbreaking natural disaster. As the shake subsided, the Lieutenant Commander addressed Thalia's questions in a stoic manner that she was strangely accustomed to, especially when the subject involved potential mortality.

That just seemed to be Thalia's pattern ever since the first few corpses stood up and decided to start gnawing on the living. Move, survive, meet new people, and calmly discuss putting down a number of enemies, be they living or dead. She considered it a shame when she had to bleed out the living - it was pretty evident that Humans belonged on the Endangered Species list - but the living posed a more pointed and unpredictable threat to survival on the rarer occasions when they would cross paths. Eden would hopefully learn this lesson fairly shortly. Unfortunately, Thalia had some tactical observations about the place they were about to assault.

"Golf course, huh?" Not that she had been a stalwart player of the sport, or really played at all, but she had physically been on golf courses before as part of her work and she was employed by her uncle Caesar's security company since she graduated from college up until the Outbreak. "That sounds like a lot of open ground surrounded by trees and chainlink fence. Buildings near the main road, where I imagine most of the important people would be located, and fuck all if I wouldn't set up roadblocks or snipers or something nasty for people like us."

Concerning the Captain and potential survivors, "So he won't be joining us on this run." It was an observation, not an accusation or judge on character. "For what it's worth, I hope he gets your people out. As many as he can." She might even want to meet the guy who built that monster. "Any chance of getting a hardcopy map of the area? Truck stop, gas station?"

Beatrice Decker

Location: in a TANK

Correction: the Australian wasn't the only one that was a fan of nicknames. Gavin was one as well. If she didn't play her cards carefully, she'd both be killed on this mission and gain an unfortunate nickname as well. Somehow, he'd stumble upon one of her most hated nicknames from growing up. And if that happened, well, no one would need to worry about Gavin helping to repopulate the world. His family jewels would be beyond saving.

Beatrice glanced around the tank for a moment, ignoring the radio that Gavin was holding out to her. She then widened her eyes in fake shock. "Oh, you were talking to me?" Beatrice quipped. She accepted the radio from him, with a warning look that clearly emphasized not calling her a little lady again. She certainly didn't have the manners of one and she wasn't afraid to let Gavin learn that lesson if it was warranted. Beatrice got herself comfortable, able to access her gun if she needed to and operate the radio as needed. Hearing the message, Beatrice considered passing it along to Gavin, but the thought of Gavin hitting his head up against the steel duck brought a bit of a smile to her face.

"Before all this?" Beatrice asked, though she didn't wait for Lola to confirm. "I was in Coney Island for a job. Did a fair bit of freelance work - mostly finding people. My speciality. This woman's daughter was missing. Gotten in with the wrong crowd," she paused for a moment, reflecting back on it all. "...Never did get the final payment on that job, but hey, shit happened. There was no sense in flying back to California with the outbreak. I ended up in Georgia about three years or so in."

Thana Martin

Location: The Truck

Thana glanced over her shoulder slightly towards Alexander before returning her eyes to the road. At least Gavin was out of her hair for now. Ash was off dealing with god only knew what and she was stuck with her ex. It wasn't that Gavin was a bad guy, in fact he was the best and that was the problem. The fact he was handsome, and fun, and loving, and romantic, and skilled, and smart, and, and, and... She wasn't sure where her feelings where for him anymore. She had put that part of her life behind her. She had moved on. With Ash! Last night! And now he shows up... Blinking she nodded in confirmation. "Yes, Gavin Comfort," she said confirming the mans name for the veteran. "And thank you for the use of the radio, might be the only thing that allows us to find each other again once this is over."

"Nothing better than the map I just handed you. Places in Georgia aren't exactly big on maps other than at state level. I'm surprised we have this county one. That probably took some digging. Grew up in South Georgia, finding one of those took a library or trip to the county seat," Thana explained. It would be different if they had a GPS, even an old one that was preloaded would have been good for zooming in. "I wouldn't worry about snipers, knowing Gavin he will pick any off. The mans a hell of a shot."

Taking a turn and moving further east and then swinging back north Thana continued to drive. Thankfully they were not hitting any major road blocks. Nothing a little creative driving couldn't get around. "Gonna try to get us 2 miles out and north of Eden before we stop, then we can hoof is the rest of the way. If I know Gavin and James, they left at least a few toys in the truck for us. We can do a count once we park," Thana added as her hands gripped the steering wheel and kept pressing on.

Gavin & Lola

Location: The Tank

"Well shit girl, that is a lot more than me.> I was just over here with my tank doing one of those lovely stents governments love to do with other countries to try to keep things all happy go lucky. Was out training with some American Tank drivers on maneuvers when all hell broke out. Stayed at the base forever, dressing up my baby here before moving out," Lola chimed in as she patted her tank and kept driving. She was grinning ear to ear.

"What about you Cowboy? What's a ten gallon hat like yourself doing out here? Figure someone like you be roping cattle or some shit, whatever it is you American Cowboys do. You play guitar and sing and shit like that Gene Autry fellow?" Lola asked.

Gavin had gone rather quiet and nodded a little bit as he kept checking the rifle. "Actually I do sugar," he said but a lot of the light was out of his voice when he spoke.

"Aces mate! So, come on! What's your story?" she said, edging him on. It was obvious that Lola was oblivious to Gavins mood change.

The cowboy kept working on the rifle but he spoke as he did. His voice seemed to have gone dark as did the expression on his face and the look in his eyes. "I done fouled up and made the biggest mistake since Sherman burning Atlanta. I means to make it right, make those sick bastards pay in Eden and get my Strawberry back," he said in a cool voice.

Lola's finally drawn on eye brows arched deeply and she looked over to Gavin. "What exactly did this place do?" she asked. Not that she had really cared before. It was gong to be fun, they had killed Thalias family so it was all totes in her book but it seemed there was a lot more to this story than she had heard about yet.

Alexander Polawski

Location:The Truck

"Oh don't mention it, nothing beasts Sparky and good comms when in situations like these. As long as I get my radio back afterwards, you're welcome Ma'am." Alexander was both surprised and satisfied with Thana's thanks for his radio. He had expected it a little earlier, considering he had asked their group back at the meet-up. Then again she was Navy, those guys were slower than the Cavalry.

Alexander continued to listen to the planning between Thana and Thalia, agreeing with Thalia's worry for snipers at the golf course, and hoping that Thana's trust in the Cowboy was well-founded. At the note that they could do a count once they reached a supposed supply-depot, the Veteran turned of the radio to conserve the batteries, before turning back to the two ladies in front. "How do we know they weren't hit as hard as your guys?"

Tiffany Lyle and Jack Hudson

Location: Sana's House -> North: Outside Newnan

Not again... Jack could've punched the ground at this point, as he felt another shake rip through Newnan. His ears rung from the explosions happening all around them. He couldn't avoid this any longer - he couldn't wait to see if he could find Tatiana. If the two of them didn't move, they'd be dead if they were lucky. Otherwise, they'd probably be buried underneath rubble, a preserved snack for the latest hoard to dig into. "Tati...Tiff! We gotta get out of here!" Jack shouted. Hopefully, Tatiana was already on her way out of Newnan.

Tiffany felt the tremor. It was becoming a regular occurrence and that was not a good thing. Explosions shattered their surroundings. It was becoming too dangerous to stay in Newnan anymore. They had to get out and hope that everyone else made it out too. Thankfully, she heard Jack shout for her and she couldn't agree more. "Agreed. We should grab a bug out bag quickly and make our way out. Everyone should be doing the same Jack." She said it for his reassurance for Tatiana as well as her own. Everyone would be ok, right?

Jack moved quickly into Sana's former home, the house of the viking he met on his first day in Newnan - Bridgette. Glancing around for a moment, he thought about where the bug out bags would be - either in a bedroom or a closet. Spotting a closet in the hallway, Jack opened the door and spotted three bags. "Bingo," Jack said, though his heart was a little heavy. He had assumed that Tatiana had grabbed a back from here - but unless an extra bag was kept in the house, all three were accounted for.

She probably snagged one al'eady... Jack reassured himself, grabbing a bag for him and Tiffany. "Tiff - got you a bag," Jack called out, assuming that she had followed him and was within earshot as he slung one of them over his shoulder.

Tiffany followed Jack inside, careful not to upset the balance of Newnan as it crumbled. She saw far too many pits already, she didn't want to see what the bottom of one looked like. Jack found the bags without effort. She reached for the one he got for her and slung it on. "Thanks, now let's get out of here before another tremor hits." That one would probably be the end.

She stepped back outside and waited for Jack to follow her before they made their way to the exit of town. It was bittersweet. She remembered her discussions with the others about Newnan, but it was a lesson learned all too often nowadays. You should never stay in one place for too long.

Jack paused for a moment, opening up his bag to check its contents. While he didn't have a reason to suspect that domestic hadn't done their job properly, it was for peace of mind. There had to be a map of some sorts in there to help them find the others and since the house seemed to be holding up, it was as good a time as any to get a glimpse at it. Rummaging through the bag, Jack had to stop himself for a moment. It was like he had taken a hit of ecstasy, his brain swimming with sunshine and rainbows. His wife? Missing, probably dead (though he was still in denial). His unborn child? Probably going to never be born. His friends, everyone he knew? All dead, gone, missing, exiled....

But you know what? He had something that made it all melt away. He had...

"PUDDING!" Jack screamed, seeing the glorious chocolate pudding backed away in his MRE. "Woah!" he shouted, as he sprinted outside and picked up Tiffany. He held her in a bear hug as he spun around, lifting her high enough that her feet couldn't touch the ground. In such a euphoric state, anyone who saw him reasonably might have guessed that he was either a) having a bipolar episode or b) took a cue from Ryan. He dropped Tiffany onto the ground, landing her on her ass, but it didn't phase him.

"Tiffany - PUDDING!" Jack exclaimed

As Tiffany stepped outside she looked around for the best way to get out of Newnan as soon as possible. She didn't want to risk staying. As much as she wanted to go looking for Ray, it was best to grab Jack and get out. She was sure Jack was going through the exact same thought process.

Well, that was until he stepped outside.

Screaming at the top of his lungs, Jack let his inner child out and yelled for..pudding? Of all things? Before she knew it, he was on her and wrapping her in a bear hug, started spinning her around. Far be it from her to put pudding down, but there were bigger things to worry about! She tried to talk, but she felt it hard to breathe with her being gripped so tightly. He let her go, but she stumbled and, yet again, fell on her ass.

She didn't know if Jack was having a mental break down or not, but she couldn't just sit there. So she stood up and grabbed Jack's hand. "That's very good Jack. Tell you what, we'll crack that bad boy open as soon as we get out of Newnan, ok?" She started pulling Jack along with her towards the exit of Newnan. Maybe he was losing it with the thought of not knowing where Tatiana was. She hoped she wasn't next.

As Tiffany guided Jack northwest, the euphoria dissipated and left him in a more morose state. Whether or not the manic state had been a one time thing was concerning to Jack, but he was more worried about Tiffany and the potential danger he had placed her in. Then there was Tatiana - had she been real this entire time? He had been seeing things earlier that day. Maybe he really had started to go insane. Could he even trust himself anymore?

"You always were a drama queen, Jackie," a blonde climbing on top of the outer wall debris said. She winked at him, tossing back her hair. It had been ages since Jack had seen Sutton, his ex-girlfriend. She was supposed to be dead. But then again, he had never seen a body. No, she had simply vanished. In this day and age, that usually meant the worst. His heart was pounding - one of his worst fears was that he would see her again.

"I'm clearly not a walker," Sutton added. "But really, the ballerina? You think she made it out of this? The people you love don't come back, Jack. And why would they want to?"

Jack looked at Sutton wearily. He couldn't tell if she was real or not, so he simply accepted that she was. "I should'a gone back for yah," Jack admitted. He kept on moving towards the outer wall, scrambling his way up and over the rubble. It was all mechanical at this moment, as he was just forcing himself to go through the motions. Maybe he was cursed. Maybe this was his hell, his punishment - everyone he loved would be ripped away from him.

Tiffany was now very worried about Jack. His euphoric state seemed to pass and he was now back to sad. With all going on, it was no wonder it was taking a toll on his mind. Still, she didn't understand when he mentioned going back for someone. Was it Tatiana? Before she knew it, he let go of her hand and was scrambling over the rubble. Before she could call out to him, she heard a voice she hadn't heard in years.

"Tiffany? Where are you?"

It was as if she was punched in the gut. She didn't expect it. But it sounded like Zachary. She felt tears welling up. How could this be? He was dead. She knew he was dead. But his voice sounded exactly the same. She stumbled over to get to the other side. She could still hear his voice as she climbed. "Tiffany, I thought what we had was special? I thought we would be together forever. Why did you kill me? Why are you with someone else? Did our relationship mean nothing to you?" Each word drove a sharp pain in her heart. She was torn. She loved Zachary, will always love him, but she had moved on and she cared deeply for Ray. She wanted a future with Ray.

"I do love you Zach. Forever. Nothing will ever change that. You were going to turn. I couldn't let that happen to you. I wouldn't see the man I love being turned. I couldn't." She choked back tears as she got over the wall. "I moved on with my life and you should too! You're in a much better place than I am. I will cherish what we had forever, but it is time to move on! Please! Let me..."

Amelia Payne

&

Raymond Mendoza

Location: Church Southeast of Newnan

Raymond stopped for a moment as he stumbled forward looking back the way that they had just came, the ground seemed to start to violently shake again below them. He could feel his heart starting to race as he looked towards Amelia and started to try and move a bit faster, he wasn't sure if the ground that they were walking on would end up swallowing them whole or not. "Amelia we need to move faster!" He yelled towards her, he was getting scared that he might end up slowing her down. Ray could see the smoke in the distance where the distillery would have probably been, all the noise was drawing the walkers from all over.

It shook again! Amelia felt the inner fear rise again, but the fear and slightly warped up view of stuff that didn't exactly belong around them that made her constantly pumped up with what probably was adrenalin, she couldn't help but grab Ray stronger, afraid to let him go as the tremlbing was pretty strong still." It's... not fine. Fast... we need to move fast yes. We're running out of time!" She nodded trying to keep calm, but failing." That way! You see any walkers?" She asked, her vision not exactly the most reliable on that front just yet.

Raymond looked over his shoulder as he saw the herd of walkers turning around and noticing them, he quickly decided to turn and head south just to try and avoid the walkers. As they walked Ray could see Tiffany behind a few trees when he tried to get a better look she would be gone, and reappear a few feet behind another tree. "I see them heading from the north." Raymond said taking a few deep breathes as he looked over his shoulder once more they still seemed to be moving fairly slow due to the cold weather. But he knew it wouldn't last that much longer it would warm up fairly quick. "Keep heading south." Ray suggested, hopefully they could still outrun the walkers that noticed them.

Well that was not fine. The time was running, the walkers were upon them too. How did they pass through a freezing winter and still much anyhow? Frankly she didn't really even want an answer, Amelia was sure it would just depress her more." Alright..." She replied to Ray, still moving with him." We'd need to make them lose sight eventually... have to break the pursuit." Amelia groaned in irritation. It was not the best condition of the whole surroundings. Not to mention she was afraid the holes might open beneath them any moment now. The tremors that they felt a little ago, made her believe there might be more destruction yet to happen still. She was happy they got out the walls when they did.

Raymond looked at Amelia for a moment, and nodded slightly but that would be a bit harder to try and get as far away from the Walkers as possible. He was running on one leg, he just continue forward whipping a bit of sweat off of his forehead. "Are you holding up okay?" Raymond asked Amelia looking at her. He was also still worried about her mental state as well as his own to, seeing stuff that wasn't there with walkers on their tail was never good.

"Holding..." Amelia replied, thinking about the fact they had to break direction to go Southeast." For now." She added with a smile, thinking about hte fact that she was seeing walkers underneath their feet yet again. She was barely holding in the maniacal laughs in her mind, but kept it in, reminding herself it was not real, no matter how it seemed." We cannot even stop... We whould take any chance to buy us distance or to break line of sight ahead... maybe the walkers will fall the hole behind us or hit a tree..." Sometimes the lack of vehicles was truly a nightmare, then again she did not have good memories with vehicles. Her mind was also trying to keep occupied to not care about the walkers underneath her feet every now and then.

"We will make it through this." Raymond would say as he looked over his shoulder as they turned southeast and watched as one of the walkers ended up falling down into the crevice. And another getting itself impaled onto a piece of rubble from the wall, at least those walkers wouldn't be a threat now. Raymond really wished he had his leg back, the walkers behind them continued to try and catch up to them he was thankful that they weren't gaining yet. "Hopefully we can try and find a car somewhere." though that was probably not going to help any there was most likely none working and this close to Newnan.

"I doubt there's a car so close that wasn't salvaged for parts..." Amelia grimly said, hearing noises from behind including the sound of something falling into the abyss opening around them." There's bound to be a place we can get some advantage and distance. We cannot stop just yet." She added, not feeling too great right now because of the situation.

"One can only dream right?" Raymond said jokingly trying to lighten the mood as they continued to run, it would certainly make things a lot easier to get some distance. Ray could see some walkers heading south east as they got closer then he noticed that there was a church there not to far from them. "There the church right there, could be a place to lay low for awhile until the walkers move past." Ray suggested, it was probably their best bet or could end up being a trap and they would be trapped if any walkers noticed them.

"I..." Amelia couldn't think of a better plan. With Ray, there was no chance to run their way through the walkers." Alright, we will rest in the church and wait for them to pass." She agreed and looked about, before focusing on their target again. They really needed the rest too! Climbing over the ruine walls up and down was tiring. What's more, she did that while helping Ray, who probably was in worse state than her too. The church was quickly getting closer until they were by it." Let's get in before they see us."

Raymond nodded as he awkwardly moved up the small brick steps up to the church, once they were there Raymond opened the door once Amelia had entered it he closed the door. Looking at the door closely he could see that the door wouldn't lock, sighing slightly he took a few deep breathes as he moved slowly over seeing that the building had already been raided once before. After their long run from escaping the ruins of Newnan he was pretty tired and sore. Ray then decided to check out his bugout bag, and started to open it up and check it's contents to see what they had to work with.

Amelia herself wasn't in condition much better than that Ray was. She felt the limits of her strenght as they ascended the stairs of the church and entered it. She needed to rest a little. To catch her breath. She was not seeing things anymore so that was a good thing at least as they entered. The place appeared rather empty, with such proximity to Newnan it must have been raided rather soon after the settlement formed actually. She didn't know for sure, but the fact was that the condition of the boarded windows and the door wasn't the greatest. First of all the boards were loose and the door couldn't lock. That's why she silently sat down, took a deep breath and whispered to Ray." We need to be really quiet..." She noticed Ray was checking his bugout bag, good plan, she also had to check hers, but she already had a knife at least. Checking the bugout bag was indeed a good thing to do while resting.' Riley... please be safe.' Amelia prayed silently in her mind.

Ashton, Riley, Niesha

Location: Outside of the Funeral, North of the Franklin Wall

With Riley's help Niesha climbed into the monstrosity. Before she would have wondered why anyone needed such a car, now... now she knew it was well suited to this life. She used the doorframe to balance, looking towards Newman, desperate to see if there was any signs of life. Yet it seemed Mother Nature was not done with them, the earth once more shaking, and Niesha was forced to sit down in the cab, or fall out the vehicle and onto her ass. Or head. Would that be mercy? She could be with Sophia then... her gaze drawn towards the flames, Niesha couldn't help the despair fill her, the sight of her last hope dying away, burned to a crisp like no doubt Newman would be soon.

Could anyone survive that? Niesha knew the answer was no, but it still didn't stop her wanting to race out there... She turned from the horrific sight, dropping her face into her hands. No survivors. She knew that unless they had gotten out in time... no one was coming out.

Victor... he'd given her a chance, when he probably shouldn't have. She'd tried hard to make up for past mistakes... and now... it was all gone. No Kristina.. she'd been there for her, and hadn't given up on her... And Niesha couldn't do anything for her anymore. "We can't do anything, can we?"

Riley was still processing the loss of Chloe as well as Ravi, though she truly would never be able to get to know him anymore, her eyes stared over towards his body, then at the funeral home. Riley was truly hoping that Amelia would have at least made it out of there alive, she just didn't want to lose anyone else that she cared for today. Riley then felt the earth starting to shake again as her eyes then turned to the plume of smoke that was coming out from their former home.

Riley looked towards Niesha and shook her head slowly, going back in would pretty much be a death sentence to anyone who tried to get in there and find out who was still alive. "Going back in there would be suicide." Riley said softly before leaning back in the seat looking over at the pack that belonged to Chloe and grabbed it holding it close to her chest.

The moment the two women were secure in the Hordebuster, Ash shifted the big truck into gear and eased his foot onto the accelerator. Booze-powered torque pushed the truck away from the widening chasm in the ground that used to be home to so many people. The amount of death was staggering. All of the people he got out of Virginia when the horde came, for all that he knew, had just perished swiftly and pointlessly. Just like James. Just like Alicia. Just like Leann. All of the Franklin people. The Locals. Even Ryan's life was wasted, and Ash didn't particularly like the man. The epic quest for survivors netted him two. Out of forty or fifty, he was able to rescue two. It was something, at least, but it still felt like half a failure. The only thing he could allow himself to dwell on was numbly keeping him, Niesha, and Riley alive - even thinking about Thana and the others to the south threatened to compromise him. Stay stoic, stay sharp. This was Ash's mantra. Put some distance between them and Newnan, and figure it out from there.

Niesha suddenly wished she had taken more then what she had. What did she have to her name now? She felt foolish for not stopping like she’d planned and getting some food, first aid supplies. Be prepared, expect the worst and hope for the best. Why hadn’t she? She sighed, looking down at her hands, before she shifted, taking her pack off and shoving it down between her feet, de-stringing the bow.

”was there anyone else with you when the quake hit?” she asked Ash softly.

Riley could feel the Hordebuster starting to move as Ash started to pull away from their former home, her hand slowly went towards her pocket and pulled out the cross that was on Chloe when she had died. She whipped away a few tears as she looked forward and then leaned forward. She regretted not running in and grabbing the supplies that they could use to survive, but they did at least have a working vehicle to get around. Riley then started to look down at her feet thinking what was going to happen now, she wasn't sure what the escape plan was. "Whats the plan anyway?" Riley finally asked looking towards Ashton, then looking over towards Niesha when she asked if there was anyone else where he was maybe there was a chance that Amelia was with another group that managed to get out.

Niesha's question hit Ash with surprise. He hadn't considered how he would tell anybody what he had seen, or even if he would at all. It would have to be told eventually; one more story of lost life amid an avalanche of several similar stories, possibly to be lumped together in the blanket statement of "We lost them when Newnan collapsed". It seemed to tie everything up in a neat little package, not to mention spare him the awkward moment he found himself in just then. Well, Ash was a blunt guy as it came to hard news. He may as well get it out.

As he opened his mouth to speak, the sight of a very familiar face caught his eye. Between the front seats, perched atop his pack and bow was a man with whom he shared a surname. The Hordebuster jerked to one side of the road as Ash came to grips with this fresh piece of psychological hell. Righting the path of his truck, he quietly mumbled the word, "...Aspen..." This was new. This was someone that he could not confirm was actually dead, and if he was not, could quite possibly be the other remaining "Son" on the label of his family's brand of mountain whiskey, "Holloway & Sons". They were not particularly close. Still, they were family, and the image of him remained sitting right there, swilling their family's label without the use of a common table glass, staring at nothing in particular. Ash glanced from the road to this new apparition, back and forth. Finally he was able to get out, "James didn't make it. Neither did Ryan. Beatrice and Thana are alright," he stopped for a second, hovering over Thana's name before continuing, "They made some friends out there. Using the confusion to attack Eden. It might give the rest of us a chance to escape their notice." It galled him that he could not be a part of that assault. He looked down to his brother, who was still sipping away, comfortable on top of Ash's pack. "The plan is to make our way to Zebulon. From there, I'm headed to Mexico Beach in Florida. Anyone who's with me follows my lead, period. Are we clear?" This is was survival, no matter what else. So he was crazy. What else was new? They were going to live, and he was going to see Thana again.

Niesha waited silently for Ash to respond, part of her not expecting him too. He seemed a little out of sorts, she supposed they all were. Her mind went back to her theory that maybe the citizens of Newman had been drugged in some way, it would explain Ravi thinking he held a razor... Richard with the axe in his head... Sophia. She looked down at her hands as Ash spoke. More people dead. Part of her had hoped that there would have been a fair group. But she knew that was wistful thinking.

"so few... " she said softly, closing her eyes for a moment, "is it wise to attack Eden? Although I suppose there isn't a choice.,, they'd come and prey on us... " she opened her eyes, glancing to Riley. She'd do whatever Riley did. She would keep her alive. "I've gotten good at doing what I'm told" she said, trying for a smile but failing.

Riley looked towards Ashton hearing him mumble something, she wasn't sure but waited until he answered her Zebulon was their intended destination. She just hoped Amelia would know their destination as well, her eyes wondered over towards the window when she paused and stared out the window like she had seen a ghost. Chloe waving to her, seeing the needle sticking out of her arm and half her face blown away she knew that Chloe was dead she was even there when her sister ended her own life.

"Fuck this day.." Riley said mumbling to herself as she did her best to hold back away her tears, her sister even though they didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things Riley always had Chloe's back. Riley wipped away her tears before turning to Niesha giving her a slight smile and nodded towards her, and Ashton she still wasn't sure if Amelia made it or not. "I'll go wherever the hell you guys are going.." Riley finally said before leaning back in the seat.

Absently, Ash resolved to keep his eyes on the road, not giving what he hoped was just a stress-based hallucination. He wasn't even one hundred percent sure that his brother was dead, but logic should have dictated that he was, without doubt, was not sitting in the floor of the Hordebuster. But there he was. The difficulty with ignoring the image was that he knew it was still there, camped out like an unwanted visitor. Just don't look. Focus on the road. Then Riley said something out loud that he wholeheartedly agreed with. Indeed, fuck this day. He started to turn his head to verbally concur with the woman purely out of reflex, only to catch the sight of his brother again from the corner of his eye. This time, he held up his bottle, offering it to Ash.

He wasn't sure why he did it, but the beleaguered Captain casually reached out and grabbed the bottle. Shock colored his face as his hand closed around it - it was solid! The damned bottle felt exactly like it should have were it an actual container of homebrewed sipping whiskey. It was hard, cool, sloshed around with the distilled contents... This couldn't be real. None of it. Incredulously, he raised the bottle to his face, twisting it open. The tang of alcohol hit his nose and eyes. No. Couldn't be. His hand shook just a little as he brought the bottle to his lips, and with nigh-suicidal decision making, braved a sip. Part of it made its way down his gullet. Part of it turned to vapor as he spit it in front of him, surprised beyond the capacity of rational thought on the matter. "Holy shit, it's real?"

Niesha hesitated, watching Ash grab a bottle from the bag next to him, and take a swig of it. At his exclimation, Niesha bit her lip, watching him with concern, her mind frantically trying to catch up with what was happening, had been happening. Something had been on fire... could the smoke from that be causing them hallucinations? But no... she'd experienced Sophia's voice before then, saw Richard before returning to Newman- or trying to. Something else, then... was she back to drugs in the water supply?

"It is... Can I have it?" She reached out for the bottle, a little hesitantly, unsure of what he was seeing, what his reaction would be. She flicked a worried glanced to Riley, not sure what they could do.

Thalia Carmichael

Location: The Other Side of Armageddon

The part about the map was disappointing, though she should have expected it. She and Lola hadn't really done a lot of digging for maps during their adventures over the winter, not past basic statewide ones. When you're in a tank, little things like roadblocks or abandoned traffic snarls become events more akin to tiny roller coaster rides than respectable obstacles, making most concepts of "Alternate Routes" pointless. Her former home, Boston, was a lot better about maps for individual areas. Of course, that's what you get when there's a decent amount of population density and lots of places to go. She was a city girl at heart, once upon a time. Recent years had changed that, but some assumptions based upon her former lifestyle held on nonetheless.

Knowing now that they were going to stop two miles out and approach on foot gave Thalia simultaneous feelings of relief and concern. Being out in country, she kind of wished that she had her spear. It rounded her options and ensured that she wouldn't have to get too close to Zeds so long as the numbers were low. And come to think of it, she had left her ack behind, too. Maye it was best to travel light. If the plan worked, they would meet up after, anyway. If it did not, she would hardly need her pack anymore.

Responding to Alexander's question, Thalia could only mutter, "We can only hope..." though logically, she realized that the possibility of another sinkhole that specific in location had to be remote to the extreme.

Beatrice Decker

Location: in a TANK

Despite Lola's exclamation, it didn't feel like a lot to Beatrice. It had just been another job - albeit one farther away from home than most she took. The price had been large enough for her to agree to it. Otherwise, she would've still been in California when the outbreak happened. She chuckled to herself for a moment, imagining how the "good" people of Justice reacted to the walker plague. They probably just shrugged and went about business as usual, wiping the brain matter of their deceased neighbors off of their cars.

She noted Gavin's abrupt change in demeanor. She half expected him to explain that he had sensed a great disturbance in the Force. For a moment, she considered pressing him about it. An upset cowboy wasn't as good a shot as a happy one. But at the same time, they were in a tank. They had decent odds of survival regardless of Gavin's emotional state. She glanced over at Lola, checking in on the other crazy. She was still happy-go-lucky, even as she was asking about the crimes Eden had committed.

"Depends on who you ask," Beatrice said bluntly. She was going to leave it at that but Lola deserved a better explanation. "James and Ryan - the guys who died back there - they knew more than I do. From what I've been told, the better question to ask is what haven't they done. They've been terrorizing Newnan for a while now, killing some of its members...It's as if Charles Manson busted his ass out of prison and founded a settlement." Was it the best explanation of Eden? No. She had never lost someone because of Eden - besides Ryan and James, as they had died on their way to attempt to attack the settlement.

"Ryan lived in Eden for a while. But he's dead and the only person he probably talked to about it was his girl."

World Narrative

Groups 1, 2, & 3 - You are either exiting Newnan or just have and are on your way. Snow has caused downed trees, the world opening up and taking Newnan with it has caused even more. This next trek of our adventure is just beginning. Over the course of this next week (irl) you are trying to get away from Newnan before the Walkers full fall onto it. You will make your way as far away from Newnan as you can in this time - if you can. (This will be our last round before our original OOC gets its next major overhaul... Newnan is being removed from it!)

You will proceed as a case method - 7 days to get it done. Getting it done just means surviving. We are going to continue as we have. Joint Pm's through this. Rounds with actions (walking at this point, driving, using skills, etc) will require a roll. Anyone that has not been cleared in the mental department will need sanity checks as well until you get a clear one. Walkers have started to arrive in Newnan. There are about four dozen of them scattered around Newnan. Some are in the roads, some between the trees, like cockroaches they are coming out of the wood work and like moths they are being drawn to the flames that are rising up from Newnan itself.

So start your pm's, drop me a line for your rolls and we shall begin. Next round everything changes.

Thana Martin

Location: The Truck

"We could only hope that Eden was hit as hard as Newnan was but I doubt it," Thana said as she kept driving. "From the way the ground opened up that was a Lime Sink forming. They aren't that common this far north of Macon but they aren't unheard of; where I grew up though, they were everywhere and after the flood of 94 tons more formed. Earthquakes on a major level just don't happen around here. At least not on a level where most humans can feel, so that counts that out." Thana turned down a road to avoid several trees that were down. She couldn't be sure it was a lime sink that formed but she was pretty sure that was what it was. She wasn't a geography expert by any stretch of the imagination but being a botanist and growing up in the state gave her a heavy knowledge of ground and soil composition in the south.

Granted it didn't dawn on her that he could be speaking about anything else. At least not at first. Then the way he worded things struck a chord in the back of her mind. "Wait, what are you talking about? I mean, when you say they, who do you mean by they?" she asked as she looked in the rear view mirror and then back at the road. She had said they would stop and then walk the rest of the way. (Thana never said they were stopping at a supply depot: no idea where Alexander got that idea from, just that they would check the truck, the one they are currently in, when they did stop and before they started walking.)

Gavin & Lola

Location: The Tank

"Well fuck me, that sounds like the exact type of people that need to have their world blown up by this lovely piece of machinery," Lola quipped as she kept driving. From what Beatrice was saying going out and blowing people up she hadn't even met was a good thing. As far as she was concerned, this was kind of like a war. Some times people just had to die so that others could live. If the face eaters hadn't been able to take them down by now, then it was up to someone with a fully functioning brain to do the job. Not just someone wandering around and rotting away that only thought with their stomach. (Granted truth me told that could have described a good twenty percent of the population BEFORE the outbreak if she was being honest.)

And she had been given "orders" by someone higher ranking than her. Granted, it wasn't someone in her military, and there were no countries anymore, and the world had pretty much ended, and she wouldn't have cared what the girls rank was, it sounded like fun - and now it sounded like fun was going to mean doing something right. So it was a win win in her book as far as she was concerned. Drive her tank, blow shit up, whip some ass heathens off the face of the earth, and this was after she had food, got a new tea set, and acquired a hell of a side of beef into her tank, Aka Gavin. It was a fucking ACES day in her book.

"Wait, the two that went down the rabbit hole knew all the details? Well that's a bitch, sorry about the loss girl. Sucks," she said. Yeah, she was really damn good at consoling people. She could be in line for a job as a Walmart Greeter one day.

Gavin finished taking a once over to the sniper rifle before he leaned back against the side of the tank and rested the weapon across his lap. "Yeah it does. Things just comin' out of the blue blazes, hell fire kickin' up. Ain't right that decent folk die and the asshats don't," he said. He didn't know James and Ryan really. He had barely said but a handful of words to Ryan since he met him and he had only met James a little bit longer before that. Yet they seemed alright, James seemed like the type he could have hung out with before everything happened, out hunting and fishing and then cooking up some mean BBQ and sipping on some home brew spirits. Yeah, that would have been Jim Dandy it would have been.

"That's why god gave us Rangers. Folk willin' to do the dirty shit so er'yone else can sleep at night. Ain't no government anymore but there still be war, there still be bad people. So there always be Rangers. People on the wrong side of heaven but on the righteous side of hell," Gavin said as a dark look took over his eyes and he stared at a single rivet in the wall of the tank across from where he was sitting. Everything seemed to blur except that single piece of metal as he hyper focused on it. Same tactic he used right before he squeezed the trigger when he was hunting things through his rifle or out on the job.
