You’re putting me in a bit of a spot here as I have to figure out who these evil people were, what the hell they were doing and why, how they were funded and later discovered, what happened to the other at least 67 Pokémon as well as where the evil men might be now, and why on earth they’d recolor the Pokémon and brand it. That kind of hints that they were never intending this Pokémon to see the light of day and that they had terrible tastes. Usually you just clip an animal’s ear with a tag, they went full on with branding? And why are the colors there? If you have ideas about that, feel free to send them to me in a PM. That’d be plot-things nobody else would know, after all. Also, what did you intend “SCI5” to mean? Because right now, I have no idea. Oh, and expect a lot of strange looks if you have that Pokémon with you when out travelling. … And what on earth’s going to happen when she evolves?

I must admit I am a little worried that you’d call your Pokémon your “lover”. I’m not going to decline it, but, let’s -not- explore those limits, okay? XD

Aaaaaaaaand I got to bring up the bracelet/watch again. That he made it is certainly better than it falling from the sky in a capsule, I don’t even know where you got that from and would happily hear it, but it’s still not, like, realistic, even for the Pokémon World. Does it, like, absorb the technology? How does it work? Do you press a button and a full-sized Pokédex springs up from it with a beam of energy like a Pokéball for machines? Or do you get a full Pokédex, but with a much smaller and inconvenient screen so you barely see what’s on it? did you have any specific intentions of what else except a Pokédex you were going to integrate?

Because I’m having a tough time considering why I should allow you to have this item that so clearly borders what’s reasonable. If you present a cool enough case, sure. But right now, if you simply wanted to use the watch in the image for something can’t it just be a cool watch that can be connected to your actual Pokédex so it draws functions from the actual Pokédex instead of, like, absorbing it or whatever it’s doing? The Pokédex is already supposed to be your all-tools-in-one thing, you know. It’s already a phone as well. Anyways, that’s my comments right now.

If we really want, we could have it set that there were no evil people and that she was a natural mutation, if that is possible and would work better I can fix that. And yes, I see that having his Pokemon as his lover was a bad idea, but I want to be rolling with it, because even though I would be using it as a light hearted thing, I think it would be best to lightly imply it as they have recommended below... And yeah, I get it, the watch was a really bad idea, the idea was it would use robotics to integrate technology into itself like some alien weird thing, but it would be an better idea to remove it fully and just have it as a watch that was made out of a pokedex by him. @SupernovaBlitz if your pokemon is a mutation, it would likely be a Shiny pokemon. With Vulpix, if it isn't the Alolan variant it'll look like this:

I'm not really speaking on behalf of the GM, more for myself I guess. I don't understand the importance of having your character in love with his starter Pokemon unless you wanted to explore that relationship beyond what the current players are doing (which is just the trainers treating their Pokemon like friends and pets). This is a light-heart adventure and a coming-of-age story and I feel like exploring past a normal relationship doesn't fit, like at all. Even if there may have been one character out of the thousands in the anime who loved his Pokemon, I imagine it was something that was lightly implied, at best, and probably more fan speculation.

I am sure there are plenty of other Roleplays on this site that will allow you to explore a relationship like that but I would very much prefer you keep it there and not here.

Okay, two things... For one, I see how a shiny could work, and be that very slim chance that you have your starter being, but would it be allowed, or would it be a bit OP? And yes, I see how having my OC be in love with his Pokemon could come into problems have complications. I guess it would be best just to indeed lightly imply it and keep from exploring it further, you are correct.

No need to insult your self. Shinies aren't OP in that they aren't statistically better and in terms of slim chance, it makes a bit more sense than what you had before, no offense intended. Of course it is up to boss dude if that's permit-able.

Yeah... no. It might be because I'm in the worst mood possible because I've had a couple terrible days, meaning it might just be down to terrible timing on your part for circumstances you had no knowledge of, but I... don't feel like it. You've been kind of unresponsive to many of the things I've said, not giving your reasoning for things you want and just doing the barest minimum edits to attempt getting approved, and that one sentence up there that I quoted to me reads simply as an attempt to garner sympathy by being intentionally self-defeating and I really don't like it. I don't feel like I'm exaggerating saying if you hadn't said that, I wouldn't necessarily have been writing this right now. It feels like if I let you play it's going to lead to more problems down the line, which I don't feel like dealing with. These past few days has also considerably decreased my desire to have another player, maybe partly because I'm already lagging behind.

With that in mind, please consider the "Full" join status on this roleplay for what it is. Thank you for showing interest. I'm sorry. Good luck with future endeavours.
