Q U I N N P E T E R S O N:

Wednesday, August 15th - 9:55 AM | New York City, New York

Before Quinn's eyes, it was as if vertigo hit her over the head and her world was upside down. The feeling only lasted a moment, but it was enough to disorient her. When she opened her eyes, she was on board the subway again, in the exact same spot she was in before. She glanced around her to see if anyone realized she disappeared for a length of time only to pop back into existence, but no one was looking at her. Not even those standing near her paid her any mind.

What the hell?

She immediately chalked it up to a waking dream, but she could still feel the after-effects of the crash. It felt like it really did happen, but that can't be the case. She was here in New York again.

She quickly hustled outside of the subway car as this was her stop and she still had to make it in time for work. She checked her phone and saw that not much time had passed. She wanted to call in sick, but she couldn't. Wouldn't bring herself to do such a thing.

Best to go about this all as normal. Though everything about this screamed abnormal.

Adalene Jones

Location: Apartment, New York, New York
Interacting With: Neighbor
Abilities being used: N/A

Adalene blinked at the girls story, and was about to open her mouth to tell her what she was saying was obviously impossible, when she decided to pop out of fucking existence. Adalene jumped back, dripping her half eaten sandwich on the floor, a gasp escaping her lips. She carefully walked over to where the girl once was, and pressed her hand through the air tentatively, as if to make sure she was really gone. "Alright..." She said, at a loss for words. The only thing she could maybe assume was that somehow, this was maybe related to her being able to turn into The Human Torch, but she had no way of knowing that for sure.

She'd reflect on this more, if not for a sudden knock on her door. She looked towards the door, and paused for a second, unsure of who it could be. It had already been a really, really weird day so far, so she didn't know what to expect at this point. Adalene walked over to her front door, and looked through the peephole to see her neighbor waiting outside. She had a sense of relief wash over her, glad to see it was somebody she knew. As she undid the lock, and opened up to her, she gave herself a quick once over, to make sure she looked presentable after what just happened. "Hello?" She asked curiously, beckoning her in from the storm. "How can I help you?" She asked.

@FantasyChic Once Quinn had gotten up to the street level her work place was about two blocks away, she could hear the traffic in the streets like normal. But there was a large puddle of water nearby from the rain there was a car that was driving rather quickly through the greenlight. She would be able to get out of the way from the sudden splash of water, and several other people who were standing to close very wet. But other then that the walk towards the office would be uneventful, and she would be there just in time as well.

@Natsu The woman gave Adalene a slight smile as she opened the door, rubbing the back of her neck for a moment before biting her lower lip as she thought about what to ask. "Uhm yeah do you happen to have any spare laundry detergent?" She asked, she was always pretty forgetful and would usually come over and ask to borrow somethings from time to time, but she always would bring it back about a day or so later and always came off as a pretty friendly person.

@Damo021 Sandra looked towards Aaliyah for a moment raising an eyebrow towards her wondering why she was on the phone in the bathroom during work hours anyway. But she did remember that Aaliyah was out sick for several weeks a few months ago, and figured that it was most likely something private now. "Well if your sick I can cover your shift if you'd like." Sandra offered before looking at another waiter who was taking several orders. "Better get back to it." She said giving Sandra a friendly smile before heading off back to work and left the kitchen area to serve other tables. "Aaliyah, could you take this to table 3?" One of the chefs in the back asked on there was someone's order ready to be served.

Time: 9:00AM, Seattle, Washington

@Morose The people there stared at him and then quickly fled back into their apartments after Scott had yelled out to them, of course they had seen an apple watch before. But still looked weird to them but they didn't want to confront the man with fucking guns everywhere. When Scott called the police tip line they were skeptical but they would look into it, before they could get any details they weren't able to since Scott had hung up on them. The weather seemed to be clearing up now as well as the sun started to come out of the clouds.

@BlueSky44 There were several people going on about their usual business as they started to do their own shopping for the day, they would occasionally look at the pair of siblings seeing that they were soaked from head to toe with rain water. There wasn't much going on in the grocery store while Jason made the call to Cynthia. People went back to doing their thing pushing carts and making idle chatter and so on nothing interesting. It would be about seven hours before Cynthia would be free and meet up wherever they decided to go.

@AmethystDagger Keith gave her a strange look and held his hands up and just gave up on trying to ask Cynthia out and went back to his part of the office while Cynthia had made her call to Jason on the other end. She would be able to hear the pushing of carts and occasionally people stopping by for idle chatter on the other end. The other works and interns at the office continued to go on about their work. So far the office has been fairly quiet as well nothing big is going on in the office now.

@SouffleGirl123 Johnathon looked towards Lucinda for a moment, it was a good enough excuse for him then he turned his attention back towards the other reporters and editors that were in the room. "Alright you guys get back to work." He said before making his way back towards his office. Before she had the little visiting session with Amelia Lucinda was able to get a number from the ME in Philadelphia who was the one who was looking at the woman's body.

@rivaan There was an electronics store on the other end of the park that Amelia could enter if she chose to go into it, the sold various things from older electronics to newer and used ones. They also did have new and used phones as well as burner phones until Amelia could get a proper new one. There was a dog that quickly ran up towards Amelia and barked loudly, it looked like it was a stray and had no collar on it, it looked up at Amelia with an expecting look for food.

Olivia Johnson

Location: Claire's Apartment, New York City, New York
Interacting With:

As Olivia sat patiently in the lobby of the ME office, she took out her phone looking down at the time, it was a good time to get out and have a meal. She ran a hand through her hair as she let out a slight sigh looking over at the receptionist at the desk who was tending to some paper work. When she heard the door to the building open Olivia stood up and saw that it was Claire, and she was actually hallucinating at all. Olivia gave her a friendly smile and nodded as she started to make her way over towards the cop and extended her hand towards Claire. "Nice to see that i'm actually not crazy." Olivia said jokingly.

When Claire did shake Olivia's hands she would start to read her mind, a lot of stuff was going through her head, like she was relived that she wasn't going crazy, and occasionally mentioning her healing ability in her own head. "Please lead the way." Olivia said giving Claire a friendly smile as she turned and headed towards the outside when she started to get wet from the constant downpour outside.

Emmie Adams

Location: FBI Field Office, New York City, New York
Interacting With: @Lionhearted Lana Allaire

Emmie looked at Lana then Grant when he closed the door behind him, her attention turned back towards the woman, feeling like she was now in the middle of an interrogation now. She crossed her arms over her chest as she started to think if she could trust the fed or not, Emmie knew she was in the NYC field office. "Emmie Adams." She finally said as she started to think about her next set of questions and sighed slightly and shrugged slightly. "Got really sick several months ago." Emmie decided to leave her powers out for now she still was slightly nervous being with the FBI woman.

"And I have no clue, one moment was in a dollar tree now i'm here in the middle of that conference room. And maybe I am your long lost sister from an alternate reality?" Emmie answered the last bit sarcastically as she eyed the woman once more. "And what about you, who are you, and why am I here?" Emmie asked she was just as confused as she was as well to everything that was going on around her.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: LA Highway -> Lair Recording Studio, Los Angeles, California
Interacting With: @Lionhearted Lucas Myers

"Well I don't have anything to show you that i'm real, but I am." Riley said looking over at Lucas she could see that he was having some kind of weird mental breakdown. She was freaking out herself as well. When she looked at the back seat she noticed that the other man had disappeared from the car. It was now just the tow of them, Riley looked out the window seeing the traffic was crazy like always in LA, then her attention turned back towards Lucas. "Well I was at the Lair Recording Studio, theres a restaurant about a block away from it, meet me there alright?" Riley said, then closed her eyes and slightly muttered something to herself.

"Make sure you write it down i'll give you my number and DONT give it out to anyone had people leak my number before and it aint fun at all." Riley said as she started to say her cell phone number, just as she had given her last part of her phone number Riley disappeared as well leaving Lucas in his car alone. If he had a GPS in his car he would be able to type in the studio name and find it there in the lists of the area.

Riley then looked back she was back in her studio giving strange looks at by the people and then her bandmates, she quickly stood up eyeing her friends for a second. "I'm going to grab a bite to eat i'm not feeling well, so just record your parts without me i'll reschedule later." Riley said as she quickly left the recording studio behind and headed down the street as quickly as she could.

L U C A S M Y E R S

Wednesday, August 15th - 09:00 AM | Los Angeles, California | Interacting with Riley Ridgeway @Nallore

Lucas rummaged through his pockets to pull out his phone, trying to open up to a notepad to type everything out quickly since she spoke without consideration to his slow movements. Although, he was a doctor in the making so his mind was used to collecting knowledge and storing them for when necessary. As he began to type out her location and phone number, a loud, constant car horn could be heard from directly behind him, notifying him to go since the traffic began to pick up. Lucas pressed on the gas and maneuvered his way through the traffic before realizing that Riley had vanished from his car.

"Shit," Lucas muttered to himself as he looked down at his phone to only see six digits typed out. He began to speak the number out loud to try and jog his memory, but this caused a weird illusion to occur. As he was trying to focus on driving and memorizing the number he gave her, the numbers around him began to change to what he was thinking. License plates, exit signs, the digital clock in the car, they were all shifted to the same sequence of numbers that were dependent on his mind. Lucas quickly dialed the number and added it to his address book which, in turn, ended the strange occurrence.

Pulling up the studio on his GPS, he followed the instructions and made it to the studio, locating a restaurant that would hopefully be the one that Riley mentioned. Parking his car, he hesitated before getting out, questioning if the events were even real. Lucas dialed the number she gave him, hoping it would be her on the other end.

Wednesday, August 15th - 01:00 PM | New York City, New York | Interacting with Emmie Adams@Nallore

Everything the girl said to Lana would be stored in her mind like a case file. Lana's eyes looked her up and down to get a full examination of her appearance. Emmie Adams - long blonde hair, short, slender physique, light skin tone, brown eyes, tattered clothing, and looks to be in her late teenage years, or early twenties. Lana furrowed her brows in confusion when Emmie mentioned that she got really sick a few months ago. Why was this information important for Emmie to share with Lana? Judging from the peculiarity of the event, perhaps her mentioned illness shared the same level of strangeness -- much like Lana's illness.

Emmie's next statement was much more random with her sarcastic suggestion that she was her long lost sister from an alternate dimension. Lana scoffed lightly before replying, "While I'm getting used to strange things happening, I'm not sure if I'll believe that assumption in particular."

Lana hesitated before answering Emmie's questions about her identity. It was only fair that Lana would share information about herself, especially if Lana wanted Emmie to open up. In hopes that the conversation would lead to answers for Lana to indulge in, she answered openly and honestly, "My name is Agent Lana Allaire, and I work for the FBI. You're at a field office in New York City, and I'm not sure why you're here or how you got in," Lana crossed her arms and ran the event in her mind again to focus on the strange instances that stood out, "You seem to be as confused as I am about the situation. What exactly do you know? Can you explain why nobody else can see you, or why my fellow agent went completely through you as if you're merely a hologram?"

While Emmie expressed as much confusion as Lana, she still didn't let her guard down in case she was still a hostile threat. Perhaps this is the same thing that was happening to the girl at the coffee shop and other people were viewing in their dreams, but Lana was sure that it wouldn't result in her own death. Lana took a few steps back and leaned against the desk in the office.

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Seattle, Washington
Interacting With: Each Other

Jason looked at his sister as they finished up their shopping. "So, still want to head down to Pike Place? We could do it now, or run home first and drop these off, we have a around 7 hours to kill before we are going to meet up with Cynthia. Your choice," he said as they walked out the door. The Market was always a place that they tended to go to when they had time. Janelle had always loved going there, since there was a lot of different smells, it was almost like she could see what was there.

"Since we have time, let's drop these off first. It'll be open for most of the day, so we shouldn't have a problem getting back. Besides, the lower floors don't open until a little later anyway," she replied as they headed back towards the apartment. It made more sense to her to wait a little while, and dropping their bags off at home seemed like the right choice to make, so they weren't lugging them around everywhere.

He nodded in response, leading the way back home. "It would also give us a chance to get out of these wet clothes. You know, if we hadn't lived in Seattle for a while, I'd wonder what was with the weather, but after the first year or so, you get used to it".

Janelle laughed at the notion. It was true, though Seattle was very much like their home in Ireland, the weather being as sporadic as it was had taken a little getting used to. Though she did love the rain, that was her favorite thing about it. The weather was fine in her opinion, but she wondered just how many people would agree with her on that.

Amelia Payne

Location: The Park near her home, Los Angeles, California
Interacting With: No one@SouffleGirl123

The day was not starting well at all... Amelia still sat on her bench, clutching the dead phone, allowing herself to calm down a little as she listened to everything around her. It was a park after all there were tree or two, there was the rustling of leaves and of course the people who walked about in their daily chores, unaware of things that were happening so outside the normal. Or maybe they were aware, just refused to acknowledge the happenings. She knew that if she was witness to something like that, she herself would refuse to believe it's real. The world was scary enough even without these... powers, but she had not the choice now as she had a power of her own. A dangerous power...

'Yeah... there was a shop to buy a burner phone someone around here. It's been a while since I went there.' Amelia thought, remembering the store. She had bought a few things there before. Cheap second hand was usually her price range. Even now she didn't really have too much of money. Maybe she could sell this phone for parts? It's old though who would buy it... She sighed as a dog came to her barking as if begging for food.

“Hey there, little one.” She called, looking at him and his big pleading eyes. She knew what he wanted, because she wanted it too right now – food. She too was hungry.” Okey, come... I will buy a hotdog from nearby and will give you part of it, okey?” She said quietly and waved to the dog, wondering if it would understand what was said. With that she headed to the nearest Hotdog stand, after being it, she planned to give part of it to the dog and then it was burner phone shopping. She at least hopped she would be able to put some music on it to listen to.

Claire Winters

Location: ME Office, New York City, New York
Interacting With: Olivia

"Hhehe, I felt hte same at first." What she saw in Olivia's mind was rather adorable in a way. The crazy part she could understand, she felt a little like that for a while after she first started hearing people's thoughts, but she quickly understood it was real when everything sorted out and she knew what criminals were thinking. A really good way to deal with people who had gotten used to avoiding cops or hiding stashes of drugs, money or guns.

“Hey, Olivia, wait!” Claire nearly shouted as she jumped after the ME outside and opened her umbrella to cover the woman too.” Why are you going outside without an umbrella in this downpour?” She asked shaking her head, moving close to the woman so the two of them can walk under it and keep mostly dry. Now that they were shoulder by shoulder, the cop looked about.” So are we close to this place you mentioned we can get a coffee? Otherwise my car's parked over there.” She pointed it out.

“Seriously though, you should be more careful. What if you get sick... actually have you even gotten sick since, well... you know?” Claire asked, with curiosity. It was a rather good question! There as a good chance that Olivia right now was the living cure for the common flu!

Cynthia

Interacting With: Jason (Over the phone) || Location: The Law Firm

Cynthia retired back to her office shortly after hanging up on Jason, her head swimming. She sipped eagerly at her tea, which had cooled significantly since she had left it there. She settled back in her chair, an open file taunting her on her desk, and a pen gripped loosely in one hand. She could hardly focus, pressing the pen to the paper at times only to pull back and leave a small dot of ink on the document. In the corner of her office, Gerald was still busy, but she caught him sneaking glances at her from time to time. She attempted to just ignore him, but after a few minutes passed by she found herself increasingly annoyed and curious as to what he had in mind. “Is there something you want to say?” She asked suddenly, alarming him enough to make him jump and shake the filing cabinet.

“No, ma’am, I was just making sure you were okay. People have been saying your headaches are coming back.” Gerald said swiftly, turning to face her with a small amount of redness sweeping over his cheeks.

“I assure you, I’m fine. A lot has been going on in my personal life lately, but things will get better.” She prayed they would, her whole body tense with the thought of things devolving into something much worse. Things could always worsen, but there had to be a silver lining somewhere, she just hadn’t thought of it yet. In seven hours, she figured it would become a bit more clear. Until then, all she had was a cup of tea and a concerned intern to remedy herself.

“Oh, I’m sorry about that.” Gerald said, completely unsure of himself. “Well, if you need me I’d be happy to help.” He was met with a genuine smile from Cynthia, one that expressed true gratitude. She nodded, gesturing for him to get back to work, narrowing in on her own assignments.

“Thanks, Gerald.” She muttered, happy to have someone in her corner.

Lucinda Partridge

Location: Back at the Seattle Times office
Interacting with: Colleagues & Boss (NPCs)

Johnathon looked towards Lucinda for a moment, seeming to decide if her excuse seemed legitimate. Luckily he deemed it so before turning his attention back to the rest of the staff that watched the display earnestly and told them to get back to their work. Some obliged immediately, a couple flashed Lucinda a concerned look (she hoped they hadn't heard her words) and some sighed, a couple even looking at Lucinda annoyed as their boss made his way back to his office. For some people days like these were rather dull so the took a hold of any possible drama that appeared, perhaps that's why most reporters tend to dramatize everything. Honesty, Lucinda pitied it when people needed drama just to have some interest in their lives.

She gave a sigh, shrugging off the glances and turned back to her computer to find the number of the ME had sat right in the middle of the open webpage. After the unexplainable event with Amelia it felt like so long ago, she'd practically forgotten. Honestly every report had said nothing more then what she had gathered from her dream, not even that. Let's be honest, though, who's going to buy 'I know this because I saw it in a dream' as fact? Barely anyone. She gave a sigh and called the number, a chill going down her spine as she remembered the creature that killed the girl look at her, as if she was next.

She slowly dialled the number to be answered by a clear male voice, "Hello, Michael Smith, Medical Examiner for the Philadelphia Police Department, what can I do for you?"

Lucinda took a deep breathe, suppressing the image of the shadowy figure looking at her. Good morning, Michael," she replies, I'm Lucinda Partridge of The Seattle Times and I have a few questions for you,"

Scott Rydzynski

Location: Heading to Pike's Place - Seattle, Washington
Interacting With: N/A

As he headed towards Pike's Place, Scott was accustomed to the occasional odd glance he got. He carried enough to be from the heart of the South, but he was a native to this region all the same. He just happened to have a fine appreciation for his weapons. And if anyone ever stopped him, he tended to show them his open and concealed carry permits, followed by the middle finger. He didn't even have Peach, his shotgun, on him at the moment. Scott tossed his pack of cigarettes to one of Seattle's many homeless in his stroll, glancing up towards the sky with disapproval as the clouds seemed to part.

While the rest of the nation looked at Seattle's weather with horror, natives to the Greater Seattle area had learned not just to deal with the rain, but to thrive. His complexion didn't lend well towards sun exposure, anyways. Still, as he kept on walking down the gradually steepening sidewalk, his mind flickered back towards the girl in the bakery. Maybe she was already dead - and that was why the strange vision had ended. But it was different than the vision from the previous evening - he had interacted with her. He had managed to change things.

It made his head hurt to think of the implications. He wasn't the thoughtful type - he preferred to solve all issues with one simple, tried and true method. His guns.

Aaliyah Cruz

Location:Hydraulic Hearth Restaurant & Brewery.
Interacting With:

Aaliyah smiled at Sandra as she offered to cover her shift if she would like that, Sandra was always such a nice young woman, always willing to help those in need. Aaliyah often found herself kind of looking for the fellow waitress as she was worried other would take advantage of her generosity. She could only give the woman another warm smile as she seemed to of spoke to herself of getting back to it, funnily just what Aaliyah said beforehand. But honestly after her recent experience and how things have gone today, working and keeping the mind busy felt like the best idea and she didn’t want to worry Sandra more than what was needed.

Making her way back into the kitchen area, Aaliyah looked a lot more presentable and better of herself, it still seemed busy which was good and so got straight back to it when she was asked to take an order to table 3. “Of course.” With that she grabbed a serving tray before going over to collect the order for table 3. Picking up a plate at a time, it was for a table of three too with one having Salmon with rice, a steak and a burger. Once she put them all on the serving tray she made began making her way through the busy workplace to the intended table.

After some good manoeuvring and keeping good hold on the serving tray, Aaliyah had made it to the intended table and offered them a pleasant and welcoming smile. “Good afternoon.” She began giving them a chance to acknowledge her. “Okay, so we got here a… Salmon with rice.” She looked at the customers as one motioned it was there’s. “There you go Ma’am, And a steak?” A guy raised his hand and Aaliyah gently placed it in front of him. “And for you, young man we have a burger.” Aaliyah politely spoke as she places the plate in front of young member of the three, possibly a family but Aaliyah wouldn’t assume. Once everything was settled Aaliyah lowered the tray against her as she spoke once more. “Is there anything else I can get for any of you?”

Adalene Jones

Location: Apartment, New York, New York
Interacting With: Neighbor
Abilities being used: N/A

Adalene smiled warmly at the woman, and nodded, "Of course." Internally, she wondered why she couldn't be bothered to keep up on her own things, instead of relying on the community to bail her out. She always seemed to make up for it though, so Adalene didn't really have an issue with lending her a couple of Tide Pods. She closed the door behind her neighbor, and led them back through the kitchen, to the pantry. Her eyes quickly darted to the ceiling, checking for scorch marks from her encounter earlier, but returned to fetching her the detergent.

"Hell of a storm out there." She said idly. She loved a good summer storm, cooling things off and just refreshing the area in general. She was never really scared of the thunder as a child. Her father used to take her to the window and watch the rain and lightning with her. It was always more comforting and scaring because of that, bringing her pleasant memories of times gone by. As she reflected on this, her eyes scanned for her laundry pods, and she reached for them, and a plastic baggie, pulling them out and turning to face her neighbor. "Not that it bothers me though, I love 'em." She commented, popping open the top, and putting three pods in the bag. "Here you go, just return the favor when you can." She said kindly, holding the bag out for her to take.

Q U I N N P E T E R S O N:

Wednesday, August 15th - 10:00 AM | New York City, New York

As Quinn's mind raced, a speeding car ran through a puddle, drenching the people near her. She managed to avoid the worst of it, thankfully. She kept moving to avoid a further accident. Still, her thoughts were racing over what just happened. Did she do that to herself? How was that possible?

Either way, she still had a job to do. Thankfully, she got in just in time. As she entered her workplace, she noticed the receptionist busy on the phones. She waved a small greeting to the girl before she walked over to the elevator and called it. It shot down quickly and she pushed the button for the lower levels. She took out her badge preemptively.

As she stepped out, she walked towards the lab door and swiped her card, entering it after it gave a resounding beep She walked into her office and took off her coat to get ready for the day.

Time: 12:00PM, New York City, New York

@FantasyChic Once Quinn entered her office, her partner, Ryan came into the room, as he gave a slight knock on the door and gave her a friendly smile and wave. "Afternoon, hows your morning been so far?" He asked as he leaned up against the wall and then looked around the lab for a moment, it had been pretty slow morning so far as he turned his attention back towards Quinn. "So have you heard about that murder over in Philly?" He asked, it was where he was born and raised in before going off to college and then getting a job there as well.

@Natsu The girl gave Adalene a friendly smile when she followed her into her apartment looking around she remained more in the center of the apartment before turning her attention back towards Adalene when she came back with a small bag of Tide Pods for her. She gave her a friendly smile. "Thank you so much, school has been just so busy, I haven't had that much time to do any shopping for myself." She answered being a medical student and studying medicine made a lot of her spare time busy for the most part. She heard the slight clash of thunder before taking the bag of tide pods into her hand. She still wasn't sure why some kids made a stupid challenge out of it which could easily kill them. "Was gonna order pizza later tonight want to swing by later and have some?" She offered.

@Damo021 When Aaliyah made it to the table there was a small family of three, a woman who looked like to be in her mid thirties and a man who looked to be in his late thirties and then a boy who looked around fifteen years old. The kid was busy on his phone playing Angry Birds, volume on full blast due to the general noise in the restaurant. The man smiled when Aaliyah handed him his steak as well as the woman when her salmon and rice was given to her. "Could you get us a refill for our drinks?" The kid had a coke, the man had a beer and the woman had a glass of water.

@Morose The walk towards Pike's place had been pretty uneventful, while on his walk he would see a car that ended up crashed up against the side of a street. Though he couldn't see the face of the driver as a few police officers were there tending to the scene an ambulance as well as a tow truck was there as well finishing up getting onto the flatbed of the truck before being driven off. Though he would hear a man mentioning about a random redhead just randomly appearing in his car looking like he was crazy or something as officers questioned. He would eventually make it towards his destination with no other problems or issues.

@BlueSky44 Once Jason and Janelle had finished up their shopping the walk was pretty uneventful as they made it back to their place, just as they got back to their house. One of the bags ended up ripping itself apart all of it's contents falling down onto the ground, and steps up to the house. Getting the items covered in dirt, and bits of gravel from the sidewalk in the distance they would see a car on the back of a tow truck.

@AmethystDagger Gerald was finishing up putting all of Cynthia's paperwork inside of the filing cabinet, all by case order, and each one in alphabetical order like she wanted. When he first started it was always messy, but he picked up on it rather quickly as he finished up his job looking over at the clock for a moment before looking over towards Cynthia for a moment. "I was going to grab some breakfast did you want any?" He asked, he was always the person to go out and get everyones orders for meals, and didn't really have any issues with getting the food either.

@SouffleGirl123 Michael on the other end sighed for a moment Lucinda could hear rustling of papers on the other end as he finished up and headed over into his office, taking a seat at his desk. "Right the Emily Watson case, just finished up with the report about an hour ago. "The girl was named Emily Watson from what we found on her wallet. She died from trauma to the head, though weird thing was that it was completely clean. Like a surgical cut, other injuries was a large bruise across the back, no signs of drugs in her system or any kind of defensive wounds either." He answered. "Is that all you needed?" He asked.

@rivaan The dog wagged its tail rather happily when Amelia mentioned about food and got up and started to follow along side Amelia there was a small hotdog stand, there was a small line already as people were ordering some hotdogs or burritos for their breakfast. The line went by rather quickly as the man who was serving food turned his attention towards Amelia and gave her a friendly smile as well as the dog. "What can I get you guys on your hotdog, or did you want a burrito?" He asked.

"Well you the one who had the umbrella, I forgot mine this morning but I took the subway here." Olivia said as she watched Claire running up to her and then the umbrella was up grateful for the dryness. Her attention went back towards Claire asking if it was far from where the office was. She shook her head and gestured to a café with big neon lights just at the other end of the block. "Its at the farthest end of the block here." Olivia answered.

She ran a hand through her hair for a moment as Claire asked her for another question on when it was the last time she had gotten sick. "Before you know my healing ability no I haven't gotten sick since then, but then again I rarely ever ended up getting sick to begin with either." Olivia answered for the most part she really didn't get sick that often or taking any sick days off either, eventually they were there at the coffee shop. "I'll pay my treat." Olivia said as she started to make her way towards the counter looking over at Claire. "What do you want on your coffee?" Olivia asked.

"Kind of figured that this was the FBI office." Emmie said gesturing to the giant FBI logo that was hanging up in the conference room that they were in as well as the FBI logo that was on the file that Grant had given to Lana earlier before leaving. Emmie leaned herself up against the wall going over the questions in her head, she was still keeping her powers a secret she didn't trust the FBI agent just yet until she knew if the agent had it as well.

"And me being invisible to the others?" Emmie gave a slight shrug as she couldn't think of an answer either. "I have no clue, one moment I was in a Dollar Tree then the moment was in that briefing room, so i'm clueless as well so I don't have the answer for you sadly." Emmie answered crossing her arms over her chest. "Any weird stuff on your end?" Emmie asked.

Lucas would get there in no problem the traffic started to clear up, as the closest exit would eventually lead to the place that Riley had told him to meet her at. Riley sat in the restaurant as she leaned back already ordering a table for the two of them, she ran a hand through her hair, making sure that she couldn't be seen. The last thing Riley wanted was for anyone to see her face when she mentioned about her powers.

Whenever Lucas got there he would see that Riley was sitting at a table by herself glasses covering her face, but he would recognize her right away of course from what the clothes she was wearing earlier when she was in his car. Riley pulled out her phone and was texting someone looking around like she was a little bit nervous.

Lucinda Partridge

Location: Back at the Seattle Times office
Interacting with: Michael Smith (Nal's NPC)

There was a sigh from Micheal at the other end followed by the rustling of papers. "Right the Emily Watson case, just finished up with the report about an hour ago." Lucinda held her breath. It was a bittersweet moment, putting a name to a murder. The name gave the victim a life, they weren't 'some dead person' they were a life, a human being. Someone who had a place in this world, family and friends, and that was both beautiful and depressing all at once. Lucinda made a mental note to pray for her loved ones that night.

Lucinda gave a sigh before pausing for quite some time. Her mind flew to the violent dream that had already been waaaay too close to this situation."A bruise? Like... Say... She was thrown against a wall?" Her voice shaky, this was it really. A determinant that the dream was real, that the sinister shadowy face that stared at her was beyond her sleeping thoughts.

He would be surprised for a moment, and was silent for a few seconds before answering her. "Yes, exactly."

Lucinda was silent for a little longer. What if that figure was after her. If had thrown Emily like a ragdoll what damage could it do to someone of her petite size? "Anything else?"

"The only other thing, is the upper half of her brain is missing, cut cleanly just like the skull had been."

"Just... Gone?" She asks gently. This raised some questions. If the cut was so precise the killer obviously wanted a certain piece of the brain, or chunk... but what use would that be? "I mean... Must have been quick but how... Who'd be able to do that?"

"A bone saw, would cut through it easily."

"But skin usually can't be cut with a bone saw... Was the cut on the skin level with the skull?" On top of all the research to many stories Lucinda had retained stuff from medical documentaries that occasionally appeared when nothing decent was on TV. She always found the craft of surgery more intriguing than icky, not that she'd ever endeavour to go down that path

"Yes it was."

"And you have no clue?" She pressed

"On who the killer is? I wouldn't know, is there anything else you need?"

Lucinda sighed. "I suppose not. Can I give you my number, this case is just... Intriguing," This wasn't even about the article anymore, she was intrigued in the case as a whole... And what it meant for her.

"Yes, of course if you have any further questions feel free to call back." Lucinda gave him her number and thanked him before hanging up. She rubbed her face and groaned. What a day! And it was only morning!

Amelia Payne

Location: The Park near her home, Los Angeles, California
Interacting With: No one@SouffleGirl123

“No, we want two hotdogs.” Amelia replied with a rare shy smile, throwing a look at the dog that was currently waggling it's tail by her. Yeah it was fine to do something good, be it as small as feeding a dog. She was not good with people, at least dogs were not going to judge her. They weren't her most favorite animals, but all things considered she just didn't usually like them. Right now in her solitude and depression, just the fact she will help this creature made her feel better. Maybe she would outgrow her dislike of them she gained as a child.” Both without anything additional like mustard... just a little bit of salt on one of them” She smiled, pulling her wallet and some money to pay for the food.

Once she got the hotdogs, she thanked the man and walked away towards a nearby bench again. With a smile she placed the hotdog on the ground by her, letting the dog eat, while she returned to her own one, biting into it. She was happy that she was eating. It felt like she hadn't eaten for a while. When she was done. She smiled and looked at the dog.” Well, I hope you liked it, doggy.” Amelia said quietly and stood up.” Be careful out here, okey?” She said to the dog, thinking deep down that she probably appeared like a crazy person for speaking to a homeless dog, but she couldn't help it. While she disliked dogs, she also felt a weird connection with this one for some reason. Maybe she was too depressed and lonely lately. She wondered why she actually didn't like them to begin with. What she could come up with was the time her cousins nearly let the dog of a friend of theirs to bite her.

Now that this was done, she started walking towards the electronics store, to check what sorts of cheap telephones they had. She hoped that while her lightning friend her phone, at least it's sd card wasn't damaged so she'd be able to transfer her music... It was her one solace. She didn't want to lose her songs from Riley. She had bought those with her savings every now and then. One of the few singers she bought the songs of.

“Let's get walking then. I want a hot coffee.” She smiled as they started walking. To be fair Claire pondered the look of Olivia's wet heir. It gave her a wild look in a way. Reminded her of a TV show she watched where the main female lead once had such a scene. Thought aside, she did conclude Olivia was a beautiful woman indeed. Though that wasn't the main point for the moment, they had other things to deal with, but maybe eventually? What, she was someone who was searching for a good partner in life! One who preferrably didn't keep her from having fun as she wished or could keep up with her.

“Health is important after all.” Claire smiled as they reached the cafe.” Chivalry is not dead.” She smiled as Olivia said she'd pay.” Black, no sugar.” Was her reply, standing close to Olivia, looking around to spot a good table to take. She finally picked one by the front windows, so they can watch the rain outside. It was a calming thing. Meanwhile she was also trying to read things from Olivia's mind while she was ordering the coffees. Claire couldn't help herself now. Reading minds had gotten as a second nature to her.

“I will be at that table.” Claire stated and pointed at the table she liked, after she a few moments of trying to read through Olivia's mind. Then she walked over, sat down and pulled her phone. Within 3 moves, she turned it off and removed the battery, putting it back in her pocket.

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Seattle, Washington
Interacting With: Each Other

Jason was walking up the steps when he heard the bag rip. Everything landing on the ground, he managed to stop Janelle before she tripped on something, though there really was no need to. She could hear the bag rip better than he could, so she managed to stop herself. He swore under his breath as he started picking things up off of the ground, collecting them in one place so they could more easily take them inside.

"The bag must have had too much in it or something. They generally try to stuff too much inside of the bags so that they have to use less. Take your bags inside, I'll get this," he said, before Janelle headed inside. After collecting the items, and making sure nothing was damaged, he looked up and saw a car on the back of a tow truck. He was wondering what ad happened, when he heard the door open again.

"Do you need some help?" Janelle asked as she came back outside. She had already set the bags she had been carrying on the counter, before seeing if Jace needed anything. With the two of them, things would go a lot faster, but she noticed him hesitating. "What is it?"

"Oh, I was just looking down the street, looks like someone might have gotten in an accident or something. There's a car on a tow truck a little ways down," he replied, before handing her a few things, and picking the rest up off of the ground, and heading back in. There was no point in dwelling on what was going on with that, though he was a bit curious as to what had happened.

Between the two of them, they managed to put all of the groceries away, before getting something to drink. After a few moments of resting, they got back up, and headed out again. They still had time before they were going to meet up with Cynthia. "Hey, what do you think about seeing what happened to that car?" he asked his sister once they were outside again.

"I don't mind, since something tells me that it is going to be bugging you all day," she replied with a smile, and the two of them headed towards the car on the tow truck. It did make her curious as to what had happened, and there was only one way to find out.

Scott Rydzynski

Location: Heading to Pike's Place - Seattle, Washington
Interacting With: N/A

Scott stopped in his tracks, taking a moment to view the crash scene. Unlike cities like Chicago where the driving was insane, Seattle drivers tended to be relatively safe and cautious. Everyone used their blinkers, merges were polite, and so forth. It was, in his opinion, a symptom of their close proximity to Canada. He crossed his arms, wondering what tourist decided to come and crash their car in the heart of Seattle's downtown district. Scott supposed they were lucky they hadn't been down by the water - otherwise, the car would be slowly sinking to the bottom of the Sound by now.

"Son of a bitch..." Scott muttered under his breath, picking up a few choice details that the driver was divulging with the cops. Someone had appeared out of nowhere while he was driving, then? There were a few more coincidences there than he felt comfortable with. He himself had popped up in front of two girls already - sounds like this redhead could do something similar. And if pie shop girl also had some sort of power, then maybe there was something that connected them, somehow.

He gave a low whistle before he stalked his way over to the scene of the crime. "Afternoon, ladies," Scott greeted. "When you're done with him, I'd like to talk to him. Got some business to take care of with him," Scott said. He then smiled like the cat that ate the canary.

Q U I N N P E T E R S O N:

Wednesday, August 15th - 12:00 PM | New York City, New York

While it was an ordinary thing, Quinn glanced up when her partner Ryan came in. She normally wasn't jumpy, but given all that has happened, she felt herself on edge. She preferred not sounding crazy. How did you tell someone you transported somewhere else entirely and yet, remained in the same place?

"Oh you know, another day in New York. Been feeling off all morning." Ryan continued, bringing up the murder. She knew Ryan was from there. She hadn't even considered asking him about it. "Yeah, I heard about it on the news this morning. It wasn't anyone you knew, was it?" Quinn put on her lab coat as she talked. They still had a job to do. She waited for Ryan to follow her before she stepped out to get to work.

Aaliyah Cruz

Location:Hydraulic Hearth Restaurant & Brewery.

Aaliyah returned the smiles of the parents once she had given them their food, it did not phase her that much at all when it came to the kid playing on his phone, it’s like many she has seen a million times over it felt, every kid was on a phone, IPad or something, this one was paying more attention on his game than spending time with his family… A shame really. “Certainly I shall get those sorted for you.” Aaliyah smiled politely as she put the empty drinks onto her server’s tray and nodded before making her way from the table to get the refills.

Despite it being busy, Aaliyah managed to work her way round fellow customers and colleagues to get to where she needed to and then refill the drinks, while it only took a minute or two to fill them up, it was enough for a moment to reflect on the incident in the apartment, normally it was glimpses or thinking you saw someone in the corner of your eye but now she wonders if it would happen again and with who? Honestly it was not an enticing thought and immediately put it to the back of her mind as she put the now refilled drink onto her tray. It literally took only a few moments before she had returned to the table. “Here you go sir, A beer for you, water for you Ma’am and a coke for young lad.” She said placing them on the table one after the other. “Please enjoy your meal’s if there is anything else you would need, please let me know.”With that she gave another polite nod before leaving the family to there meal.

Cynthia

Interacting With: Gerald || Location: The Law Firm

Cynthia smiled vividly at Gerald, her stomach groaning when he asked her about breakfast. Of course, she had already eaten earlier that morning, but stress brought on unwanted cravings. Strangely, she didn't allow herself time to think about the consequences of stress eating, accepting his proposal with a nod of her head. “That sounds perfect, will you bring me back a cheese danish and a london fog?” She asked, hoping he could find her two favorite cheat items. She knew the aromatic lavender in her tea would help calm her nerves, she had been using it as a relaxant for years. The sugary pastry would probably make her feel sluggish, but she figured she deserved it after everything that had happened.

Gerald nodded, not bothering to put together that it was quite unlike Cynthia to order a cheese danish rather than a cup of fruit or green tea. “Of course, I'll be right back.” Gerald said, sliding the filing cabinet shut and going to exit the room. He hesitated a bit at the threshold of her office, glancing back at her to offer up a sheepish smile. Cynthia knew he was wary about leaving her alone, but she was no child. She gave him a wave, dismissing him and focusing back on her work. The door closed behind him, and she let out a weary sigh, wanting to hug herself. The only thing that kept her sane was knowing that Jason and Janelle were out there, experiencing similar phenomena. She wasn't truly alone, and if the others who were in her dream really existed, she actually had quite the group of friends. They had all shared in the horror last night had brought, and they were all working through it, bit-by-bit.
