 APPEARANCE 

"Not that I care about looks but I'm doing pretty damn well."

Aliana is built tall and strong with a very slim, beautiful, figure and a good complexion to her bronzed skin. She walks with pride, very aware of her long legs and broad shoulders. She was always on the tall side and she was always very okay with it, seeming to prefer being the gangly girl over the small, quaint, girl. She's somebody who demands to be noticed and it's hard not to with her unique features and her slender form.

She has noticeably high cheekbones and a squared off jaw, full lips and a button nose. Her hair is a dark brown and usually cut short, it's very thick and curly. Her eyes are a very dark brown, ranging towards black and shaded in dark eyelashes. Her skin has dark freckles that smatter her shoulders and chest, a prominent dark mole stands stark on the left side of her neck. She has a tattoo of a dark red rose on her right ankle.

She can usually be found in casual, fashionable clothing. She's not the type to go over the top with clothing but she stands out just enough that she still demands attention. Brightly colored scarves, pointed heels and clattering bracelets can almost always be found on her person.

 PSYCHOLOGY 

"This whole stable thing is a ruse."

MAIN GOAL ⫻ Aliana strives to be an actress some day, this is a goal that she dedicates almost all of her time to.

PHILOSOPHY ⫻ Aliana believes strongly in live and let live, she doesn't feel swayed to bother those who are just living their lives and she very much wants them to leave her to live her own life. As far as she's concerned, nobody should bother anyone else. Negativity is something that she can't stand.

SECRETS ⫻ Aliana has a very abusive father, she still struggles with the trauma of it all.

DESIRES ⫻ She desires stability and safety.

SEXUALITY ⫻ Bisexual.

FEARS ⫻ Above all, she fears her father but she also has a pretty severe phobia of darkness.

REPUTATION ⫻ She has a reputation of being extremely friendly but somewhat catty, she tends to surround herself in people that will put up with her tendency to be overly dramatic.

PET PEEVES ⫻ A lot of things annoy her but the thing that annoys her most are people that appear to be very holier-than-thou. She has almost no tolerance for someone who can't see their own faults.

QUIRKS ⫻ When standing, she will tend to sway in place and shift her feet. She also tends to swing her arms at her sides and tap her fingers on things when she's impatient.

 BACKSTORY 

"My mama always said that I was as smart as a whip but keeping everything inside would tear me apart."

Born in south Florida to a Cuban mother and an American father, she grew up in a low income household. She spent most of her childhood in a fairly small trailer with twO younger brothers. Her mother did her best to make their small home liveable for her three children. It was only their father who made the home uninhabitable for everyone. As far as Aliana could remember, he would go into rages and hurt her mother. These rages would usually scare the young girl into hiding until she couldn't hear the slamming any longer.

It wasn't until she was nine that she started trying to stand up to her father. That was the first time that he ever hit her.  The young lady was full of fire, she didn't let the blows stop her from fighting back but the negativity of it all was starting to wear her down. She spent years encouraging her mother to leave her father and to get as far away from him as they could. It took years before they actually did move. At the age of fifteen, her and her two younger brothers landed in Farmer Hill.

Though the place wasn't ideal, they managed to find an affordable home and it was very far from her father. Her mother took back her maiden name and so did her kids, it was an act of solidarity. It was a complete separation from the one person that they had all feared for so long. In Farmer Hill, Aliana got the chance to be herself and to focus on goals that meant something to her. She got the chance to be the person that she had always wanted to be. 

This chance came with the need to let no one in, she didn't want to be a tragedy and she despised the idea of pity. Soon, secrets became so easy for her that she almost never spoke about anything deeper than the here and now. Her emotions were cast aside and so were her thoughts and concerns. She became a blank space, a persona of a girl that laughed the world off. 

Attending Grand Ridge Academy made her mother very proud, the idea of the camping trip struck her as a very fun way to kick back and relax.

 SKILLS & TALENTS 

"Not only am I fast, I can act."

[Running] ⫻ She was on the track team for a very long time, she's very quick.

[Acting] ⫻ Her dream of being an actress has lead to a lot of practice in the fine art of acting.

[Herbal Knowledge] ⫻ She knows a lot about different types of herbs from working with her mom in their garden for so long.

[Ballroom Dancing] ⫻ She took ballroom dancing lessons for a short period of time in highschool.

 ABSTRACTION 

"Some things should stay hidden."

SIGIL & LOCATION ⫻ A faded grayish eye on the underside of her right wrist.

ABSTRACTION ⫻ Cloaking: The power to hide objects/subjects from optical sight.

ABSTRACTION DESCRIPTION ⫻ This abstraction allows Aliana the ability to hide objects or people from visible sight, this expands to any living thing and any nonliving thing. Things that she cloaks will disappear completely from sight but will otherwise remain in their place, obscuring them from vision but not removing them from existence.

IN THE PRESENCE OF THE MOUNTAIN ⫻ Her ability to cloak things expands to a much further range and she's able to cloak them for longer.

AURA SENSING ⫻ Influenced by her love of track, Aliana can see the auras of individuals that are moving very quickly in about a half mile radius.

@Prosaic I like Aliana, she's accepted.

LIMITS ⫻ Aliana has a limitless range for cloaking objects - however, while she doesn't have a hard-limit, she has an effective range. She can effectively cloak objects within three meters of herself, able to keep it fully cloaked for as long as she stays focused. Outside of that, she has to focus a bit harder to cloak it. Outside of around ten meters, she'll be struggling to keep objects cloaked for more than a few seconds. The size of the object or area also has to be taken into account - she can keep an average adult male cloaked, again, for long as she can remain focused. She can keep, say, a minivan cloaked for about a few minutes before. She can keep a ten meter radius cloaked for about a split second. This is also one abstraction that bypasses the Awakened's resistance to each other. However, while her cloaking bypasses the Awakened's resistance, it doesn't stop aura reading, or any other extra-sensory abilities even in the slightest.

WEAKNESSES ⫻ Her cloaking ability impairs her own ability to see. While she isn't rendered blind, her vision is greatly dimmed, and she'll have a harder time seeing from a distance, and seeing finer details like colors.
