I think the issue is that it's a battle RP. I've been waiting for a magical girl game for awhile, but these ten to flare up and not last long. Plus, this doesn't seen to have a lot of rules that moderate battle and player interaction. It sounds like it's gonna be hard to do anything but fight.

Personality: If there is one word to describe Amelia, it would be 'content'. She is a generally happy person who doesn't stress too much and enjoys the simpler things in life. Brief Backstory: A girl with no reason to be a magical girl, seemingly, Amelia nonetheless found herself as one through a series of events. Entrusted with a special power and a mission, Amelia was quick to find herself engrossed in the magical girl lifestyle, fighting monsters, protecting people, and serving as the heroine of her town with the help of a few of her friends that she let in on the secret. Having moved up in school, facing increased pressures from homework, activities, and actual work, she has nonetheless done her best to carry on as a magical girl, and do what needs to be done to protect those she cares about

Abilities: Amelia is a fairly balanced magical girl, one that combines decent utility abilities with some offensive power. Her combat focuses on at range battle rather than melee combat, flowing from the staff that she uses in combat. It channels her magic and lets her unleash the majority of her spells, though in a pinch she can use her own body in exchange for a physical cost. Though she is aware that she should have more powerful abilities, she has never been pushed to the point where she has needed to find out what they were.


  • Featherfall - Wings of fire are made to sprout from Amelia's back, allowing her to take to the skies and soar
  • Fire Burst - Does what it says on the tin, launching a blast if fire from her staff. The size and intensity can vary depending on the amount of energy she puts into it
  • Star Ignition - Amelia focuses the rays of the sun through her staff, creating what is effectively a solar powered beam attack that can scorch and burn through whatever it strikes with devastating results.
  • Darkened Breath - For those times when Amelia does get in close, this spell unleashes a cloud of ash that engulfs the area, either allowing her to escape or to take the fight to the enemy while they're blinded. It dissipates after a short time if she doesn't use it again.


I think I'm pretty close to done, just might tweak things if I have a better idea but at this point this is what I'm going with. Sorry it took so long

  • Appearance: Martha has light skin, with brown eyes. She stands at around 5'7". but is more inclined to slouch and lose a couple inches. Her hair is silky, short, and colored a bright blonde, going only to around her ears. She has a pair of red framed glasses she wears, along with a similarly colored bow in her hair. She dresses in casual attire, mostly denim skirts and tank tops make up her day wear. She has a slim, nonthreatening build, and her demeanor might make some think a stiff breeze might blow her over.
  • Personality: Harriet is a clever girl, mature beyond her years. She always thinks before she speaks, and is constantly thinking about how to advance whatever goal she may be currently working towards. Many an enemy have found themselves defeated before even having a chance to strike, not because Harriet is faster or stronger than them, but rather because she spends considerable time watching and stalking her prey, before setting a trap to deal with them swiftly. As a magical girl, she strives to end any confrontation in one strike, before the enemy even knows she's there. When living her normal life, she spends her time in school quietly, listening to her friend and schoolmates talk and tries to hone in on potential threats that may have arrived in her city. She views herself as a kind and compassionate person, thinking of her work as a kind of public service, keeping the innocent people round her safe from harm they can't themselves fight. At the same time, she can come off as lazy at times, her waiting and thought coming off with a kind of casual relaxation that might make an observe think she isn't as dedicated as she is.

  • Brief Backstory:
    Martha has always been the kind of girl to plan ahead, and wait for things to come together in just the right way. It's why she's a straight A student, and an A+ Magical Girl. She grew up in a high society family, where every act she would make had to be considered, lest she embarrass her parents. It was as necessary to survival as food and water. She didn't mind it t all though, it was the only way she knew, and it seemed to always work out pretty well for her. When she became a magical girl, she was so excited to be able to help people and bring the highest honors possible to her family name. She found it to be more important than anything, and threw herself into her work. She would spend night after night scoping out her city, watching and waiting and destroying evil as it came. When she heard about Hex Night, and the wish she'd get when she won, she knew she had to go, and she felt as if it was her destiny to win, and bring true fame and esteem to the Waters family name.

    • Magical Girl Appearance:As a magical Girl, Martha's clothes take a shift to become more simple and freeing. She becomes adorned in a pure white robe, with a black undershirt and shorts below. The rob extends down to her knees, leaving her bare legs clear to see. She has formal black shoes on her feet, with white socks going up to an inch above the heel. The bow that was previously in her hair transforms into a spindle with a seemingly never ending amount of thread, which places itself neatly on the side of her waist. Lastly, her hair changes color to be a dirty blonde.
    • Concept: Patience
    • Archetype: Arachne's Spool
    • Abilities:
  • Patience's Virtue: Her perspective of time scales with how fast she's moving. If she's standing still, time goes to a crawl, giving her time to think and plan out her actions, and scales up to the point of her walking, at which point time takes it's normal flow.
  • Danger Sense: When a potential threat either to Martha or others is about to occur, normally within the radius of a couple city blocks, Martha gets a mental ping, warning her and letting her know to either keep her guard up or rush off to help those in need.
  • Laying in wait: The spindle on Matha's side can be used to set traps for her enemies. She can set points for the thread to lay at as she moves around, until she wills in to disconnect from her spindle and tighten around the next target to come in contact with it. While she's setting it, the thread is virtually invisible to anybody who doesn't know to look for it. When disconnected, the resulting web is taught in the air, and is a light reflective white color. The web has the tensile strength of Spider Silk, and can tighten as much as Martha desires.

@VitaVitaARWell, i prob went too nuts, but here's the app so far that i have! Though if there are any suggestions for a second offensive ability...i am very open to things in that regard. If she needs another one, i mean.

Heck, i am open to if i need to make an entirely different magical girl powerset idea and such, if needed.

• Name: Sakura Miyamoto

• Age: 16

• Gender: Female

• Personality: Sakura is a generally relaxed sort of person, the kind who seems to go with the flow to an extent, popping up their head into the action and conversations and such as she sees fit. In public she has been generally seen as a decent individual, albeit clashing with a few of her more rowdy peers, though behind closed doors she has been dealing with some matters that have weighted heavily on her mind. A crush on one of the most popular girls in school, being crushed on and romantically pressured constantly by her similarly-aged stepsisters (who are twins), and her beloved birth father’s cancer that has caused the man to wither seemingly before her eyes over the years as the most pressing things weighing on her personally.

In her attempt to cope she has taken to using her healthy allowance from her wealthy stepfather to indulge much more in “pleasures” to de-stress herself. Such “pleasures” include various chocolates, silk robes, and similar things that her stepfather and her own mother have shrugged off as normal without seeing the real problems she is facing emotionally. Even so, she feels she is managing in keeping “afloat” generally speaking, and has taken to the idea of being a magical girl with gusto. However, she also feels a burning desire to acquire her wish as well, that of restoring her birth father to full health.

• Skills: She is a good swimmer, and has some surprising “rich girl” funds that could be useful for her as well. Overall a good student, she can be relied on as a generally intelligent person...albeit she isn’t a valedictorian.

• Brief Backstory: Sakura was born the daughter of American mother and immigrant Holly Masterson and birth father Jonathan Miyamoto (a Japanese-descended American man). However, her birth father was diagnosed with cancer when she was aged at 7 years old, to which her mother decided to divorce the man to “avoid the heartache”. It broke her birth father’s heart, and Sakura’s as well, though her mother was hiding all the hurt underneath as she put on a stoic face in front of everyone. Then her mother then remarried to a close penpal/friend she had made many years ago on a trip to Japan, which friend was now a Japanese billionaire named Morimoto Homura. Morimoto’s wife had died due to cancer herself, and left him with two twin stepdaughters, Kohaku and Hana, to care for alone. This resulted in Sakura and her mother moving to Japan and into Morimoto’s luxurious home.

Sakura struggled to adjust at first, though she thought it a blessing of being allowed to visit her birth father back home often as a condition of her mother’s divorce, with her stepfather calmly helping her pay for these trips to America out of sincere goodwill. Her father, despite at times being bedridden, started off decently well in health, playing with her, telling her stories before bed and tucking her in with a kiss on the forehead. To be truthful, she loved her birth father more than her stepfather, though her stepfather proved to be a kind man at heart who managed to get on her good side over time. This all being said, as Sakura’s birth father’s health deteriorated, her new stepsisters began to gain an unwanted and taboo “interest” in her personally despite being “sisters” legally speaking.

Combined with a crush she has had on a girl at her home school for wealthy children as she turned 13, these combined things in her life have put immense pressure on her by this point in time. However, with an opportunnity presenting itself to get a heartfelt wish completed, she has gone off to participate in a certain event as a result.

• Magical Girl Appearance:


• Concept: Flow

• Archetype: Laplace’s Demon

• Abilities: Her powers as a magical girl allow her to, in summary, alter the “state” of things to a past or future state via the reversal or acceleration or other alteration of the flow of time. This power is normally enacted on targets via “time bullets” she fires from her weapons, which only affect what they physically touch or pass through rather than behaving like normal firearm bullets. For example, one of these “time bullets” would pass through the wall of a building they were fired at, leaving an eroded empty hole where the part of the wall was eroded away, whilst the rest of the wall remained normal and intact without issue. She can also enact her powers’ effects through physical touch.

Her weapons can also alternately fire regular magical energy “bullets” to cause damage and such as well, mainly as a built-in measure to avoid dealing too much environmental damage with her weapons when using.

This all being said, as a rule of thumb her powers cannot alter the chronological age of other living people, including magical girls, save for herself alone if she wills it. However, this “cannot alter other peoples’ age” rule does not apply to monsters or beasts or similar non-human things.

She uses a pair of sleek, futuristic looking pistols as her main weapons, and has a gatling-gun-styled rifle on her back that she can bring out to fire at an extremely rapid rate.

Sea of Time- Her most common combat move for offense. She temporarily summons multiple gatling-gun style rifles like hers in the air, essentially summoning many future states of the weapons she has all at once temporarily using her power. Upon doing so they all fire a barrage of magical bullets in a constant stream for a temporary time. Overall this is just a big but temporary area attack, albeit more like a “bullet hell” in effect as well.

Giga Timebreaker- A “desperation move” of hers, only used in such a capacity to finish off foes or in a desperate situation or if she feels finishing off an opponent fast is her only chance or similar situations. She affects the flow of time around (but not inside) her body, speeding it up or slowing it, to cause her to move faster or slower as a result to some exponential extent. It puts a lot of physical strain on her even as a magical girl, but can prove handy in facing speedy or tough foes. This move also produces illusory clones taking different potential moves that she could have when this power is activated. This means the move is also meant to confuse the enemy, though again the strain limits her to less than 1 minute bursts of use at most.

Cloak of Time’s Perdition- A clear, watery-like barrier forms around her protectively, and in the thin space in which the barrier’s exists time is completely frozen. Attacks and things like bullets and swords are as such literally stopped in place by the barrier, rather than being “blocked” like a normal barrier might do. From here, any trapped attacks/weapons are redirected into the ground or are dissipated (in the case of something like an energy attack) when the barrier is deactivated or dissipated itself, but until then remain trapped in frozen time in contact with the outside of the barrier.

Retroactive Restoration- Through physical touch or contact with one of her “bullets” fired with this attack imbued into it, a target’s body’s healing abilities are stimulated (including the production of stem cells oddly enough) and then are accelerated extremely through the acceleration of time in order to mend them of injuries and damage they took. This does not age the target(s) of this ability at all, but acts as a potent healing ability that can even regenerate organs or regrow limbs. Of course, using this ability too often can drain her stamina and power as a magical girl, due to its innate potency.

Reconstitute Restructuring- An area-of-effect power used via physical touch to “repair” nonliving things and other objects by reverting them to a past “optimal” state of existence. Something like restoring a trashed building to its former glory is one example, or repairing a broken bridge, etc. Though this could also be used on something like a modern firearm to revert it to a “state” where it was still loaded as well, to give a potential combat use.

Stagnation of Self- A temporary “invulnerability”-like state of sorts tied to locking her into her current state of being at the point in time she activates this. This ability lasts for one minute. Whilst it is active it means that even conceptually her existence cannot be “changed” at all during that time, for change requires the passage of time to go from one state of existence to another, this ability has one major flaw.

When the ability’s effect fades, all the things that were done to her body by other attacks and such are all enacted on her......simultaneously. So being hit by 100 bullets and a transformation-canceling power would all hit her at once after this ability’s effects fades, as one example of a potential situation she could run into. It is better noted as an ability for “stalling the effects of other abilities and the damage of attacks” in being applied to her for a brief time. However, if she is already hurt when using this ability she remains hurt of course.

This ability can be a double edged sword depending on the situation in which it is used.

This is a bit difficult to judge, because time powers are always a bit of a sketchy area. I can't... quite decide how to go with this, so take this as an update to let you know I'm considering the bio rather then a decision one way or another.

There's magical girls from other countries, but it's just that Japan doesn't have as many different ethnic communities as a country like, say, the US.
