It was momentary that her attention was focused onto Shinji, but it quickly shifted to the newest arrival and final member of their team - Koko. Her gaze traced the girl up and down, taking in her disposition, short introduction - nice. This sat well with Miyako, hopefully communication between the two would be easy and said within as few words as possible. Miyako retained her imperturbable demeanor, as the girl introduced herself - a small bow of the head in her direction. "Very nice to meet you as well, Koko. I am Kurosawa, Miyako" She stated, and promptly turned her attention to Sakana that was now spouting off about Koko's name, it brought one side of her mouth to raise in a cheeky smirk, but quickly dropped as it didn't humor her all that much. Then he began to drill into the nameless Shinobi, Shinji, Miyako keeping silent as he did.
Her attention stuck to Sakana, as he began talk of them needing a leader. Miyako being that of a bit of a submissive being - initially had no thought in stepping forward. But it was good that someone, namely Sakana, had stepped forward to go ahead and establish this dynamic. 'Better this happen now, than on the battlefield,' she somberly thought to herself, only imagining the worse to come from it being decided too late. As these thoughts entranced her, it would be Shinji's sermon that broke the chain of thought. Her eyes drifted to his face as he spoke, her hands still folded in her lap neatly - face still holding that of the most unimpressed being in the world. Miyako listened to him speak, nodding a few times - another sigh escaping her lips. It seemed this was her sign of being in deep thought, or frustration. Now that both Shinji, and Sakana had both declared they had no interest in being leader - Miyako found this to be a step in the wrong direction and now would step forward.
Rising elegantly from her seat and standing alongside Sakana, she looked to each member slowly "Koko, Shinji, Sakana....if there are no objections - I have no qualms in proposing the idea of myself as leader of this team. I believe it will be fruitful for us all to be within good standings of each other - despite our background." Side eyeing Sakana with this statement. "We are all here for the same end goal... I believe" her eyes stuck between to the two Kiri associates. "But, it would be within our best interest to work together and communicate effectively if we are to succeed. To come back alive," note she didn't say anything about friendship. Miyako believed friendship wasn't a key into carrying out a lucrative misson. It was communication, and trust. Her words were carried by a very dry and dull tone, it could've been more uplifting had she maybe smiled or changed to a chirpier approach. But she wanted to bypass any small talk and get to the point of figuring out what Sakana had started.
Her hands now lifted, folding into each sleeve of her kimono - eyes closing with a swift breath in, then out. "What do I bring to the table?" Miyako asked herself to the team, her eyes opening and moving from each member again, "I am part of the Intel Division in the Military.... I was hand selected due to my memory, with that being said - I am able to retain a majority of everything I read, even hear. I believe with what knowledge I have gained from what has been gathered and hypothesized - I will have some higher ground than most in helping to influence our decision making. It is with this, and my hope for a fluid moving cell - that I will nominate myself". With this speech, she again looked to each of her peers - Her focus resting on Koko. Speaking directly at the Kunoichi "It is only if you wish to lead this team - then I will not argue....But, I must ask the same question as Sakana. What is that you bring to the table?"
The conversation was stifled quickly, as the meeting began - Miyako turned attention to the screen displayed in front them then took her seat. Hands again folding in her lap, prim and proper. They would have to discuss further the inner workings of their company after the presentation. Her eyes darted across the screen, in tandem listening to the booming voice elaborating further on the pictures. "I remember reading about him..." Miyako muttered, possibly to be heard by another - but desired no response. All of the information being presented was probably overwhelming to most, but Kuro's eyes did not leave the screen. Any sounds of idle chit chat from around them did not break her concentration as she followed along intently. As quickly as it started, the meeting was adjourned - Miyako wasting no time to jump back to prior engagements."Unless any of you have any questions about what was just said - I suggest we get back to Sakana's question, and decide the leader. Like it was stated, we will have little to no communication back home. Before we even step foot back outside the VTOL, we must decide this. Decide a course of action in the event of an altercation, who will be our offense, our defense...". This could all be settled inside the VTOL - Miyako rose out of her seat and stared at her team members, "Shall we?"
