Jamie is the kinda kid who's entire personality shines through in his appearance. His lanky frame, always dressed in well pressed clothes that float the line between casual and formal, gives it away immediately that he's a prep. His shaggy hair, while long, is never unkempt or out of place, at least not in public. His complexion is creamy and clear, his parents have the money for expensive skin care regimes after all, and his eyes are a piercing blue, with a sparkle that suggests everything about him is a perfectly illustrated trap, meant to lure you in, and spit you out again.

Jamie has known what he's wanted to do since he was a little boy. He wants to write, put pen to paper and let the words flow. He doesn't quite know if he'd rather write for a magazine or maybe novels, but he knows he's happiest when he's churning out words, making people think and feel. As long as he can do that, he'll be happy.

Whenever anyone asks, Jamie always says he's afraid of spiders. Which is true. He's terrified of them. But, anyone who really knows Jamie, or anyone who's been decently blasted with him, knows that his greatest fear is failure. It's what keeps him from asking boys out, from writing more dangerous pieces, and from truly living his life.

Dr. Henry Callaghan is what you might call, "new money." He's a self made man, a one time orphan, who grew up among the brownstone town houses of Brooklyn during the 2010's. He fought and studied to make a name for himself, and eventually earned himself a scholarship to MIT, his ticket out of his miserable life. At MIT he studied robotics and mechanical engineering, focusing on artificial intelligence. By the time he finally finished obtaining his doctorate in Artificial Intelligence in 2022, he had been offered a job at the Green Company's fledgling company, ASMR. He promptly took the position, moving out to California, where he began working with some of the most advanced professionals in his field, creating things that many people had only ever dreamed of.
Alison Thorne was an up and coming actress when she met Henry. She had just landed a big television role, a GreenWorks production, and was working her last shift at the diner that she'd been working at to make ends meet, when Henry Callaghan walked in and got a table for one. Henry had always been a man of habit, and even with his fancy job, he wanted something simple, scrambled eggs and the kind of cheap steak that only diners serve. They hit it off immediately.
Six months later and Henry was proposing. Another six and they were getting married, on the beach, surrounded by their friends and Alison's family, who'd adopted Henry as one of their own. They enjoyed a blissful few years of marriage, both focusing on their careers. It wasn't until they had become settled down, built a nice family sized house ( A mansion anywhere other than Beverly Hills) that they started having children. Jamie was the first.
From birth Jamie was a clear mix of both his mother and father. He had all the melodrama of Alison, a true diva if ever there was one. He cried when he was put town, pouted when he didn't get his favorite toy. But he was always clearly a smart kid, and his dad always said that his eyes were far too wise for a toddler.
As Jamie grew up and his parents became bigger and bigger in their respective fields, Jamie learned to read and write, his passion to this day. His parents were always supportive, and incredibly proud of him, even as the house grew smaller with the addition of more children. This big family never weighed on Jamie though. In fact, if you ever get past his shell of cynicism and snark, you'll find out that his family means the world to him.
While Jamie was never a huge fan of living life in the spotlight, it had it's perks, especially upon reaching high school. He was instantly popular, seeing as how his parents had worked with many of the other student's parents, or had been in their favorite movie. Now Jamie is firm in one belief; cliques are the dumbest thing in the world as is the entire social hierarchy of high school. That said, he isn't stupid, and he'd rather be cool than a loner, so he keeps his mouth shut and plays the game. He became a writer for the Black and Orange during his freshman year, and was named and Editor for his junior year, under Trixie, which he's not entirely happy about. He heads up the Student Life section of the Black and Orange one of the more popular ones actually. It's really just a glorified gossip column, reporting anonymously on things heard around school. More or less, Jamie is the gossip reporter. Jamie has made sure to code it so that, if you look hard enough, you can find out where the parties for the weekend are. Truly, the only reason it hasn't gotten cut from the paper is because of Trixie. That and because the student body likes it too much.

No one is going to lie and say that Quincy isn't beautiful. She is. Her skin is crystal clear, and her face is so conventionally attractive that, it's easy to see why she used to be so popular. The blonde hair is a plus as well. Now a days though, she's ditched the heels for combat boots, and the fabricated curls for her natural frizz. She hardly ever wears makeup anymore, and more often than not can be seen dressed up in oversized jackets and beanies, hiding her slender frame from the prying eyes of the school.

Quincy wasn't always who she was today. Once upon a time, she lived with her mother and father, happily. Her mom, Catherine, and her father, Logan, were actors, well known in Hollywood. Quincy was their only daughter, their pride and joy. They doted on her, brought her to red carpet premieres and awards, gave her everything. Catherine taught her how to do makeup and dress well, and Logan listened to her rant about all the boys at school who annoyed her on a daily basis.
That all changed last year. A plane crash killed Logan at the beginning of Quincy's second semester of sophomore year. Then a rather popular student, she stayed out of school for a few weeks but eventually returned, but a bit different. She was shorter with her friends, feistier and meaner. Quincy had never been a mean spirited girl at all, so it came as a shock to many, but they all chocked it up to trauma.
And then, she did something unforgivable. She talked back to an IT Girl. After that, her social life crumbled, but she never even batted an eye. Her boyfriend dumped her, and she found herself hanging around with A Double and the other Burners, smoking weed for the first time, even selling it. She stopped wearing dresses and heels, and started wearing ripped jeans and boots. She was different.
Now a days, she sells weed to other students, and bickers with A Double, steering clear of the life she'd lived before. No boys, no mean girls, and no drama.

When you live in the Hills, money talks. Which means Cassandra and her mom, are silent. Cassandra's mom, Isabella Clark, was born to Lewis and Marie Clark, two wealthy lawyers in Southern California. This begs the question, how did Isabella and her daughter arrive on the lower middle class end of the wealth scale. Well, that's a story.
Isabella Clark was eighteen when she came home from school and cried into her mother's lap, sobbing, and told her she was pregnant. She'd expected anger and disappointment. She hadn't expected to be thrown out. Isabella was still in high school, pregnant and alone. Her boyfriend had broken up with her, adamant that the child couldn't be his, that Isabella must have cheated on him, and her family had shut her out. Luckily, she was taken in by the family of her best friend, and they helped her graduate high school, and enroll at a community college.
Isabella worked hard to put herself through college and support Cassandra. She worked two jobs, took out student loans, and studied her ass off to earn a nursing degree. Because of this, Cassandra was forced to grow up quick, but she never resented her mother for this. She became responsible at a young age, something that she's thankful for, not angry about.
Isabella worked hard to make sure Cassandra got a good education, and she fought to get a house in the Hills, so that Cassandra could have the best shot. It's a small house, and an expensive one, but it makes do. And thank God for it, because without living in the Hills, Cassie would have never met Ophelia Brycen. Ophelia took Cassie under her wing, protected her, became a mentor to her. Cassie wouldn't be where she was today without her.
In high school, Cassie came to realize, that family mattered. She'd gotten by with minimal intrusion into her family life up into that point, but now, she lied. She told people that her mother was a music producer for a Japanese boy band, and that she was often out of town. She pretended she was rich, and in essence, that's what birthed her love of fashion and design. "I made my own clothes," sounds a lot better than "I bought these from Goodwill."
When Ophelia began her Candystore, Cassie was an obvious addition to the group. Now she's fighting to survive among the escalating politics of the school, an atmosphere ripe for the reveal of secrets, both good and bad.

Wyatt is what you'd call, the burnt cookie of his batch. He comes from a rather successful family in the Hills. Dr. Elton Durand is a well known plastic surgeon, who's done work on some of the most well known celebrities in Hollywood. His husband, Jason Durand, has made a name for himself as the author of multiple self help books, focused on holistic healing methods. The two met at some gala, years ago, and instantly fell in love. Together, they had three children, all via surrogacy. Alexis, James, and Wyatt.
Alexis, the eldest, is a resident at Beverly Hills General Hospital. An excellent student, Alexis earned a scholarship to Stanford, and made the Dean's List every year. James, the middle child, is the athlete. He was born to be on the field. A football star, he led BHHS's team to two state championships, and got a football scholarship to UCLA. Right now he's one of the most talked about college football players there is.
Wyatt on the other hand, is pretty sure his egg donor was a complete fuck up. He's not the genius that Alexis is, or the athlete like James. He likes to skateboard, but his dads hardly call that a sport. In his parents' eyes, Wyatt is the failure.
His best friend, A Double, doesn't help his case. A Double's the one who got him into weed, and indirectly other drugs, so his dads think he's the devil. Wyatt's just trying to chill out and live life. He doesn't need all the family pressure his dads put on him, so he spends most of his time with A Double. His dads kinda stopped caring, finally, after they realized he wasn't going to get under their thumb. With any luck, Wyatt will figure out something he's passionate about. Just, not right now.

His dads kinda stopped caring, finally, after they realized he wasn't going to get under their thumb. With any luck, Wyatt will figure out something he's passionate about. Just, not right now.

Connor is, for lack of a better word, hot. He’s got a striking jaw line, harder than should be legal, and blue eyes that could cause a swoonfest wherever he goes. His hair, a dirty blonde, is always perfectly messed up, as if he just walked away from the best sex of his life. His body is that of an athlete’s, lithe and strong, toned during the season, and only slightly less so during the off season. His walk shouts confidence, and his crooked smile screams sex. He’ll fit right in at BHHS.

If you have eyes and ears, well, chances are you've heard of the Princes. Timothy Prince, and his wife Amelia, are two of the most well known politicians in the country. Timothy had his beginnings as a constitutional lawyer in New York, young and with big dreams. Amelia was an environmental activist, working for The Sierra Club at their New York office. The two met at a gala, held for the volunteers of a senator's campaign, and they immediately hit it off. Both were ambitious and passionate, and wanted to save the world, in their own way.
A multi-year courtship turned into a marriage, a marriage that would take the political world by storm. Timothy gained a seat on the New York state senate, and Amelia made a name for herself among environmentalists as a smart and powerful woman, and soon took over the New York branch of the Sierra Club. The couple soon had their first, and only, son, Connor, their pride and joy. And while they showered Connor with gifts and affection, nothing can prepare a child for life in the limelight, nor the life of being the child of two very important, and very busy people. As hard as Timothy and Amelia tried, they always put their careers before family.
Timothy was tapped when Connor was only four to campaign for the governor seat in New York. The race was highly publicized, and Timothy's charismatic nature brought the family loads of political attention. When Timothy won the seat, no one was surprised. No one was surprised ten years later either, when Timothy ran for an open Senate seat. He was young, but experienced, and his happy little family painted a beautiful picture. It was an easy win.
But this story isn't about Timothy. It's about Connor. Connor was always the model kid. He tried his best in school, and he was smart so he always excelled. He was overflowing with energy, all of which he poured into basketball, his favorite sport. He was popular at school, and he was constantly making friends.
But it wouldn't last. By the time Timothy was sworn in, Connor was fourteen, and sick of living as the first son of New York. Of course, life didn't get any easier when his father became a senator. In fact, life got harder. Connor became a DC Brat, a son of an important government official, an exclusive group of kids, most of whom meet at political galas and events. Connor got into drinking and drugs, stuff harder than normal for someone his age. His parents were furious.
They did everything to keep his partying under control, and then, under wraps, but it didn't stick. Timothy was a promising senator and Amelia had recently landed a job as a lobbyist, and this kind of scandal was a powerful bargaining chip in their world. Stories continued to land on the Prince's door, and Timothy continued to make them disappear. Finally, they sent Connor to rehab upstate, hoping he'd come back cured. He came back alright, but he was nowhere near cured of his addiction. Recently, Timothy was contacted about a possible presidential bid. Nervous about the publicity that will be on Connor, he sent him off to live with his brother, Connor's uncle, in Beverly Hills, hoping that a change of scenery can knock some sense into him.

Becca got extremely lucky. Why? Her genes are flawless. Literally, this girl looks amazing. Clear, ivory skin, smoother than should be allowed, kept glowing with expensive skin care routines that her parents pay for. Long, ebony hair that frames her perfect face. She's tall, legs like pins, and playing soccer has kept her toned and in shape. In short, Becca Helmsley is probably prettier than you. And really, there's not much you can do about it. It doesn't help that she know that she's gorgeous and dresses to show it off. Tight fitting pants and barely there shirts, Becca knows how to get all the attention she needs.

So long as you haven't been living under a rock for the past two decades or so, you've most definitely heard of the Helmsleys. Business partners to the Greens, one of the most well known dynasties in the US and easily one of the most powerful, Ryan and Adelaide Helmsley have continued to lead the family to new heights. Them and all eight of their kids. Seriously, they're one broken condom away from a TLC reality show.
Becca Helmsley is the third of the eight children, her twin brother, Bryan, being the fourth. Even though she was only born two minutes before, she loves to act like she has years on him. It drives him nuts. Some might imagine that growing up in such a powerful and important dynasty would be intimidating, but Becca was never daunted by the shadows cast by her family members. Even as a young girl, she was different. A natural born leader, smart and always eager to try new things, she was intrigued by everything around her.
Becca was always a staple at her parents different galas and social events. While some of her siblings dreaded the dress up games that were played and the false niceties that they were forced to exchange, Becca reveled in the games that were played, and she was quite the charmer too. It was these nights that taught Becca everything she'd need at BHHS.
Going into high school, many would have thought that Becca was disadvantaged. As close as the Helmsleys and the Greens were, Becca and Hailey had never gotten along, even as children, and thus it was assumed that Hailey would make Becca's life miserable, just for the sport. Luckily, Becca and Henry, the more agreeable Green, had always been close, and being friends with Henry came with a certain layer of protection. Becca was able to join the soccer team, and made her freshmen year a successful one, joining up with the jocks and mostly keeping out of the way of Hailey's game.
Now days, Becca is seen by many as a queen among jocks. Captain of the girls' varsity soccer team, she's hell bent on two things. Winning a state championship, and making sure Hailey Green leaves this school a nobody.

Before Noah could even walk he was holding a paintbrush, splattering paint all over the walls of his family's home. His mother, Madison Nichols, and his father, Harry, couldn't help but laugh at the time, but his uncle, Oliver, saw exactly what was going on. Noah was born to paint. As a child, Oliver, an actor, took care of Noah when ever his parents weren't around, which was frequently. His mother, a diplomat with the State Department, did her best to keep her work at home, but it wasn't uncommon for her to have to leave for weeks at a time. Harry's job as a lawyer for ASMR kept him busy as well, so Oli stepped in.
Oli hammered Noah with the arts, teaching him how to draw and paint, helping him learn the guitar and piano. The only thing Noah couldn't do, was act. But that didn't interest Noah. And as much as he loved music, art was always where he was drawn. He sketched and sketched, and colored and painted, and remade the world in his sketchbook. He aimed for the sky and reached the stars. His parents supported him every step of the way, and Oli did his best to help him grow, though at some point Noah was forced to begin teaching himself, when he surpassed the minimal knowledge his uncle had.
While Noah was a whiz with a sketchbook, his social skills lacked. He didn't make friends easily, and going into high school, most people thought he was rather weird. For the most part, he kept to himself, aside from Katie, his best (and only) friend. The other's couldn't quite grasp what went on in his head, the myriad of creations he was thinking of night and day. So what, everybody thinks he's a nut. Who cares? The important ones knew what he was. Revolutionary.

Jamie's the oldest, if you couldn't tell. That was sarcasm by the way. Jamie reeks of oldest sibling, it's almost embarrassing how much responsibility just rolls off of him. But, we aren't talking about Jamie, are we? I'm the middle child, which comes with it's perks. My parents have their hands full with the other kids, so I'm pretty much allowed to do whatever, which isn't bad. I like the freedom.
Growing up, I guess I was always the drama queen. Mom says I still am, but I beg to differ. I love drama, not the bad kind, I mean the fun, on stage kind. I want to be on screen just like Mom, but that's gonna take a while I think. Mom said once I graduate she'll help me get a role, but until then, I'm stuck at school. Stupid, I know.
So where does this story start? Well I guess it begins after Damian O'Connor's party. I'm helping my brother figure out what happened with Trixie and Owen, and also just trying to survive. I mean, aren't we all? Callaghan out!"
