I was going to make Palpatine's shuttle pop in after a few player posts.

The timing on additional evil ships really depends on what the party gets up to. My plan is to surprise the party ten seconds in .make space rocks fall so everybody dies time reinforcements based on when the party needs bigger/weirder challenges or based on when it would be most narratively interesting; whichever comes first.

So a thought occured to me. Given the living material the whitestar is made of would it appear to be a large creature more then a ship? And thus hide the crew inside?

That would depend on each ship's sensors. I expect most ships that do not encounter space monsters or biological ships would just see a weird ship reading.

I would ask you to either give a bit more specifics in regards to some limitations of that type of shield or add something to off-set that.

yes it does depend on ship sensors. That was why i brought it up. Any sensors searching for life signs would most likely read the ship as one massive life sign. Whether they encounter space monsters or biological ships don't matter. Its a massive life sign, because the Vorlon tech it is comprised of is living.

@Burning Kitty Fair enough, the specifications provided via the game mechanics will do, though make sure to add those to the ship sheet.
The reason why I pointed out the regenerative shields in particular is because it initially sounded so vague.
However, I will point out the freedom version of the regenerative shielding will be a definitive no-no.

@mattmanganon Might be a stretch, but I think it can be made to work. However no thalaron radiation weapon please.

I would classify as dubious at best, no evidence of that I have ever seen.

I am thinking with my hybrid crew Dead Space.

This time they will be named after Templars.

Crew Name: Shay Cormac
Crew Role: Special Forces Captain
Crew Description: Cormac has two defining traits, he is a survivor and gets shit done no matter what. His last mission he was forced to sacrifice the lives of all his men to slow the Necromorph down long enough to get the information stored in his rig to safety.

Crew Name: Haytham Kenway
Crew Role: Specials Forces Engineer
Crew Description: Kenway is an engineer and soldier second. He would gladly give up fighting just to tinker on something but he knows that dream is a dead with the threat of the Necromorphs.

Crew Name: Lucy Stillman
Crew Role: Specials Forces Scout
Crew Description: Stillman is at her heart a scout. She wants her team to stay safe and the best way to do that is to keep them informed of all threats in their path.

Crew Name: Daniel Cross
Crew Role: Special Forces Pilot
Crew Description: Cross loves to fly. He ain’t happy unless he is in the cockpit especially if he is flying away from Necromorphs, he hasn’t slept in lord knows how long because of them.

Anyways, this is my first time doing anything on a forum, so please be patient with me if I make any mistakes. I know I'm gonna have a good time though. Now to wait and hope for some more Homeworld ships.

Is it too late to add an additional notable crew member to the sheet? I forgot that the Ambassador has quite the presence too.

Yeah same. I think having a smaller ship would of been more functional overall, but to late for all that.
