Dorotea Bracika - most call her Tey for short, though in her younger years she was often called Dora.

Kindness

Looks are often deceiving, and this is most certainly the case for Dorotea. While her attire likely reflects her nature, being dark and beat up, her features are nothing short of being soft and round. Her complexion (pale and flecked) and her hair (ginger, straight but whispy and with an almost bristly texture) almost having a washed-out look to them - even her freckles seem to bleed into one another. The only part of her that cements her otherwise gentle and borderline ghastly colors are a pair of deep green irises within her downturned, sunken, sleep-deprived eyes, and the only shape which breaks the soft roundness is her nose, which is almost block-like due to its similar width from the bridge to the tip, and has the slightest hint of a hook.

The girl herself carries a sort of heaviness to her. Her expression, half hidden by a side curtain of hair, tends to be melancholic, jaded, or bitter, sometimes an odd mixture of all three, and her steps often drag behind her.

People often mistaken niceness and kindness. Dorotea is not one of those people. In fact, she's a living example of the difference.

And frankly, it's not pretty.

For while she is indeed a kind person, she is far from nice. She's well meaning, but she's mean. Rude, crass, and full of sass - tact has no place in her heart, words, or actions. And while she is deeply caring, she doesn't give a damn about sensibilities, about what makes you feel happy or safe. To her, the true is far more important than the just, and the good more important than the fair - she cares about what is best for you, rather than what you like most. Easily put, she's a hard to swallow pill, if that pill were also a mento and your stomach was filled with soda rather than gastric acid, and it happened to swear like a sailor as a bonus.

Underneath her soft features is a hardened, rugged girl, forced to grow up far too early and yet paradoxically refuses to grow up...despite yet never having the chance to be a child in the first place. She lives in limbo, despising and deeply mistrusting grownups, and struggles deeply with her own nearing adulthood, clinging to her few comforts and childhood pleasures - they're one of the few things that can get her out of her usual grumpy mood, regardless of whatever mockery it might bring.

That's not to say she's all bitterness - Dorotea is a surprisingly affectionate and loving person despite being an asshole, and it's not exactly something she hides. It's just not something that comes out often since she (understandably) has few friends, and even fewer people she trusts - that tends to be a common case with people from abusive households, and hers, without going into detail, was indeed one of those, and has shaped much of who she is as a person today.

Name: "Bud", short for Buddy. Dorotea is creative like that.

Personality: If Dorotea is an example of kindness without niceness, then Bud is an example of niceness without kindness. He is an incredibly sweet, polite, and welcoming person, charming and friendly, but far more timid than the bold and bitter girl. Unlike her, he struggles with being kind when it doesn't benefit him or when he doesn't like the person in need of help, and he can sure hold a grudge. It's not to say that his niceness is entirely false, but that it's flimsy - often absent when it's needed most. The two would compliment each other's flaws if they didn't drive each other crazy. And while Bud will often resent Dorotea's harsh ways and, in his mind, unreasonable and irrational behaviour, and while Dorotea finds him a cowardly two-faced fool, it's clear that Dorotea cares deeply for Bud, and perhaps Bud does the same.

-She and her partner are both musically talented. While Bud (as Gekomon) has an affinity with horns, she has an affinity with strings, particularly the cello.

-She's bi, with a slight leaning towards girls.

-While being of Ukrainian descent, she is rather distanced from her roots and only speaks English fluently. She hardly knows any Ukrainian and she's actually more fluent in French than it.

Name: Chip

Personality: Chip, despite his small size and easygoing nature, yearns for battle with a partner who shares his view. Carter might not have been the best candidate, but they get along much better than a person who would better fit what Chip considers Ideal. Fight the good fight, but enjoy a good snack and a long rest when you're not on the field. While Carter is busy making friends with every other branch on a tree, Chip consider's himself more a thinker's Digimon, assessing the problems ahead and trying his best to work them out without having to sacrifice a potential fight. He gathers and picks up much of what passes before his eyes, and rarely forgets things, no matter how useless the information is. Maybe he just wants to crush some stuff sometimes. You just gotta let it happen or suffer a grumpy Plush-like Rookie Digimon.
