Bruce Timm always was a bit of an uneven writer, honestly. Without Dini it became all the more apparent that he leant on Batman’s superpower of making everyone in the same room as him suddenly stupid and incompetent whilst every woman simply wanted him without significant cause. His relationships in Justice League were just horrid and very poorly written.

In fairness, it's because he was covered in vaseline...

For a second, I thought you meant Bruce Timm, and that just raised further questions.

...He's fucking Bruce Wayne.

Saying that a woman (hell, anyone) in the DCU wouldn't want at least one crack at the Batcave is like saying "Ugh, 90's Brad Pitt mixed with the money of current Bill Gates. Go away. Shoo."

Not that I mind people swooning over Superman aswell, given that they look practically identical.

My own complaint about Bruce Timm is his weird obsession with the Bruce/Barbara pairing, which reached a fever pitch in the Killing Joke animated film... *shudders*

Hey now, not everyone in the Timmverse was identical. Some of them had completely different haircuts!

Also, the ladies are taking a crack at the Bat-Cave?

I mean, I'm not gonna judge.....out loud......

See, and you people wonder why these two are constantly finding themselves in a fistfight. It's not because of lazy characterization or a need to glorify Batman's place as a superhero by having him kick a God in the teeth... it's because neither one of them can handle how much sex the other one is elbowing in on! Their lives are practically a @Lord Wraith post!

DC once did an April Fool's prank based on the visual similarities of Bruce and Clark where Martha Wayne survived the shooting and was put in witness protection, falling in love with a farmer named John and marrying him to become Martha Kent.

@Master Bruce Wait, why is Wraith associated with Sexual writing again?

I wanna point out the flaws in this, but then it's an April Fools prank, so there's no need.

It's not bad enough that Bruce is macking on his best friend's main squeeze; he's gotta do it to his adopted son's as well.

I never watched Batman Beyond ( A lot of the old Cartoons are on Amazon Prime so I will be catching up over the next couple of weeks), but in it was Barbara not a long term ex of Bruces?

That legitimately pissed me off and will never be something Timm can truly make up for. It's bad enough when writers try and shoehorn Bruce moving in on a character like Lois (points to Andy there, I was just fucking around), but to go after your best friend's daughter... who is also kind of your own surrogate daughter and one of the primary loves of your surrogate son's life, at the very least? Who's also like, twenty years younger than you? It was enough to make me forget the horrendous love affair that Arkham Knight tried to pull between Tim and Babs, all because they didn't realize the Robin that Batgirl traditionally has the hots for is Dick. Fuck you, people who write these stupid slash-fictions.

That video never gets old.

I almost want to write a post about Robin on the drums. And I have to give them credit for Nightwing's suit being the right color.

@Master Bruce Yes, fuck people who write about fictional characters they didn't create in a way that pleases them.

How dare they!

Hang them I say!

Unfortunately, yes. But it's barely mentioned and all instances of it can be easily glanced over. Killing Joke is where it got super creepy and downright insulting to both characters.

It was very wink-wink. But in Killing Joke, Bats officially hits it and quits it.
