With no votes of disapproval voiced, I decided to move on with placing Croaks onto the Characters tab.

It should be noted that if anyone wants to play as Ribby, I am still more than welcoming to the thought. We might need to have a bit of chat about their common history together, but that's more of a boon than an issue, is it not?

Sorry guys, my grandpa fell down from the stairs and fractured his hip. I had to spend almost the entire day on the hospital watching him.

Perhaps, the ones that have completed their CS could start posting and merely let the others catch up at their own time. (Since there's no GM, immediate plot concern, there's nothing anyone is really missing...)

More or less my plan was to upload my character to the list today, hoping people would have added more over the weekend, but since we all seem to be in a general mindset of "To hell with it.", I might just start. This does need to begin at some point, so unless anyone is in opposition, let the posting commence after their sheet is transferred?

I propose a player handles putting their own sheet there, for the ease of editing if and when more chrome or different guns find their way on their person. But yes, I do figure we might as well move to begin.

I’m going to try to join up as as a sort of auditor doing something like internal affairs, investigating the disappearance, if that’s alright. I’m thinking sort of the flip side of what most folk are likely going for. Someone thoroughly stuck in the rat race. It will take me a while to get a CS together though. Works been busy lately.

I know half the point of having no GM is minimal expectations. But I didn't expect to take so long with my first post. I assure you, despite being occupied with various tasks. I will read over your character tomorrow, @LeeRoy. I foresee no issues, but I have yet to delve into it. On an unrelated note, assuming no one has begun tomorrow, I will throw something simple into getting us going. It will not be grand or glorious, but it will be more than nothing which is where we are at currently. If you are already in the process of drafting a post, I will write around yours if you move on it before I do, so do not feel the need to delay.

It should be noted that something as old fashioned as an AR-15 running with, heavens forbid, cased ammunition, is indeed going to be very difficult to get bullets for in today's society, where lots of things are now built of plastic and bullets are preferred to be ran caseless. There are very few routes one could find bullets for such a weapon, and given it was specifically stated to be the old model instead of anything more modern, this issue may catch up to him sooner or later.

Another thing I have thought of is... well, how does he think of contributing to the search for the good lieutenant? He seems more loose a cannon than the screws in his head. That's the things that I find objectionable, the drug cocktail being a bit on the strong side for 24/7 use, but I can see that biting him in the arse later so it is not going to be that big of an issue in the end.

My post will try to mainly be a character introduction, which will have a prologue of the turning point of her life. Then follow off with her mission about retrieving information on locating Lieutenant Davison. Currently working on it and will do more work after I go to dinner, it's probably going to run a little long.

Edit: 1,500 words in and still want to write at least one other scene. So, uh...might be finished on monday. Can only hope it's worth reading. ;D

@The Harbinger of Ferocity I wouldn't expect you to write around mine. Since I'll try to leave it fairly open to passing time, and I won't try to get too caught up in the details.

Every issue you stated, that's how he's connected to the plot. His source of ammunition has been cut off because of this guys disappearance. His source of drugs has been cut off. And his "divine crusade" is going to come to a screeching halt if he doesn't help figure out what's going on and find another source.

So now he must decide whether or not it's worth it to suffer the evil of existing in the society he deems so evil. Just to find a fox and source of ammunition, or find what happened to his old one.

I do not particularly see any issues with your submission, @LeeRoy. As I stated before, your character is more or less at odds with the world for better and worse alike and archaic weapons are, other than in parts which can be easily crafted by even low level equipment now, rare. Ammunition as that being less effective and rarer still, with most caches coming from the wastelands where the nomads drift. Now of course said weapons are still dangerous, but as long as you are not expecting to tussle with chromed up street boosters up close and personal or expect non-armor piercing ballistics to do much, there really is no issue. No one here among the players is a combat machine either and the majority of those are left to non-player characters, namely the Night City Police Department and any big name corporation solos.

Drugs and chemical stimulants are in no short supply either, so at least he will not be made irrelevant despite his lack of enhancements. Just be forewarned of having Yancy's goods cut with something crazy or them attempting to hook your character on something weird and exotic, the typical sorts of threats drug addicts of the dark future would face. But for motivations? I would say there is enough to work with that he is not too disruptive and he's lucid enough to realize that unlike outside, messing with the wrong people here is a surefire way to end up a pawn in their game a lot faster. Essentially in-character reason to not fly off the handle at slightest provocation.

There we have it, some sort of action oriented havoc in the middle of the Combat Zone with some tricked out solo running amok, taking on a gang's hit squad while being tailed by some unaffiliated party. Only problem being that said technojunkie is out of his mind and carrying way too big of a weapon to deal with and is attracting too much attention. Take it or leave it, but I figure at least one of the characters thus far might notice this and be in a reasonable part of Night City to come do something about it, better or worse.

That noted, it is nothing stellar or perfect, not an epic opening you might have hoped for, but the wait was going on too long. Thinking of posting and character is approved? Go ahead, do your thing, whether that be relative to this instance or having to do with something going on elsewhere. But let us get this started.

On an unrelated note, attempting a different style with writing for this roleplay. I can only hope it gives the feeling of the setting through it. That is my intent after all, having read over the supplement a few times to borrow from that.

Well my post is separated from the current conflict. But it's finally completed. (My god that was a process, life got damn busy.) Hopefully it's not one long mess, and it's actually readable. I tried. :D

My styling is also a little different than usual, but I thought it would be suitable for an introduction to the world at large. Giving a bite-size outlook of my character's reality. I can only hope one is as disturbed reading the thing, as I was when I wrote it. >:3

I figure I've already addressed that the issues with my character are an intentional downside that I've given to make the character more entertaining and have more room to grow and improve as the story progresses. I'll go ahead and transfer him over to the character's tab and begin, if that's of no major issue.
