Sophia Harris

Location: The Oak Tree
Skills: N/A

Sophia looked between Alexandra and Faith wondering if the two would actually end up duking it out for the twinkies, as she turned her attention over towards Bart when he asked about her timeline. She took a moment and thought of how to say it, before finally answering, and looked over towards him. "Basically where we are from the whole world turned into a living nightmare. Some virus or disease or whatever took over. Basically the dead end up coming back to life, if you die you end up turning regardless of a bite or not." Sophia said and gestured towards her hand. "If you were lucky enough to get bit somewhere that can be chopped off, and even still manage to survive you were lucky." She said calmly.

She listened to Gilbert speak as she eyed him for a bit longer as she watched the kids for a bit longer and Nancy finally came to, and nodded slightly towards her. From the sounds of what Belladonna said they hadn't had much time left to perform so they needed to act rather quickly. She would have two days at least from the sounds of it to get to know the woman a bit more, as she noticed her speak to Alexandra in some language she didn't recognize, before being dragged off towards the closest group of kids by Nancy.

"Give me a second." Sophia said as she started to adjust the straps a bit that held it in place and loosened them a bit so that it would be easier for the prosthetic to be yanked off, but still tight enough for it to have a few good tugs before it would be yanked off by Nancy for their little show. "Alright i'm ready." Sophia said towards Nancy and looked towards the Emendator for her to take the lead for the whole thing.

Giosue Zino

Location: Ville Au Camp: Room 203->202->200
Skills: The Watch Act III: Time Sense

The reset would be occurring in less than an hour. If Evelina were out there, then they would already be in the middle of wrapping up the night. But Evelina was having very stern talk in just the next room over. Which meant Nancy and Gilbert were effectively in charge. Which meant Gilbert was effectively in charge. He had full confidence in the man's ability to lead when such activities needed to be done, but he wasn't as poignant about timeliness as himself or Evelina. Furthermore, he had to handle herding the Paradoxes and Nancy through their first loop.

Which meant he had time to pull off another prank. He could set something up for Alicia, but that would probably come off as more mean spirited that intended given the rest of the night's events. Likewise, trying to do something with Evelina was out of the question as well. Her room was occupied and trying to go beyond the confines of the main house wasn't a practical choice given the limited timeframe he was working with. Doubling up on Gilbert wouldn't work very well unless he could throw in enough things so as to cascade into each other like a river of laughs. Which left one target.

With the evident ruin of their joint prank brought to fruition earlier, the current ceasefire between the two of them was null and void. So why not get a head start and throw in a little surprise for her later. He quickly made his way back to his room and picked out a glitter-bomb, a bundle of decorative dust loosely held together by string and plastic. How they managed to make these things in the first place was a mystery, but if too much force was applied (as was easily done, these were not tools to carry around every day), they burst into a cloud of shiny, impossible to clean arts and crafts.

Luckily, the whole time loop kept the entire Camp from eternally being plastered in various colors of glitter. Now armed with a weapon of mass destruction, Gio made his way back to Nancy's room and ever so gently slipped it under her pillow. When she went to lay her head down, POOF. The Watch giggled to himself at the thought of his dear friend's neck and back being plastered in golden sparkles. After this, then he'd try to get to sleep. Promise.

Alexandra Andonova

You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

Location: Ville au Camp - Oak Tree (Refreshments Table) ⇢ Room 208 (Bedroom)
Skills: Rusyn Language

Alexandra absentmindedly drummed her fingers against the cellophane wrapping of the Twinkie that she held in her hands. Mind you, as it turns out, the beat she was drumming out to was the song "This is Me." It was a song she was meant to sing and perform to alongside her fellow Russian Imperial Circus folk. It was to be a performance to beat all performances with the sole purpose of Russia gaining a seat on the council. Unfortunately, Alexandra's untimely death meant she was unable to take part in what was meant to be a truly momentous event for her people. Nevertheless, it would seem that even now the song still struck a chord with her. Perhaps it was subconsciously a lifeline back to home. Perhaps.

She glanced around at the others, arching a brow at Faith and smiling softly at Gilbert. "Understood, old man," she replied, albeit a bit half-heartedly for her. At the moment, she was just sort of going through the motions so to speak. Her mind just kept going back to that odd feeling she had detected within herself, and her stubbornness made it practically impossible to just let the matter go. She looked sharply over at James, her eyes widening slightly at his exclamation. However, her attention was soon diverted again when she heard someone speaking to her. She looked back at Belladonna, blinking a few times as it sunk in that the woman was speaking a language that was familiar to her. It was the Rusyn language, a language she had been trained in back in her homeland. "Știi ce e în neregulă cu mine?" Alexandra asked inquisitively, though she ended up not waiting for the woman's reply at all. She was just too impatient to get answers. "Da, da, vă rog să mă urmați."

Alexandra placed the Twinkie back on the table and then gestured for the woman to follow her. She lead the woman back up the road to the Main House, her steps as quick as she dared with her still bare feet and all. She then lead the woman through the passageway and up a couple flights of stairs to the second floor where her room was. She pulled out the key from between her breasts and unlocked the door. And once she and Belladonna were inside, she quietly shut the door behind them. "Nov, vhat do you knov of my apparent predicament? That feeling that something is off vith me, it means something, da?" she inquired, turning to face the woman.

Nancy Parker & Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Near the Oak Tree
Skills: Acting, Mimic

Nancy gave Sophia a grin, as she approached the children. They were all hopped up on sugar thanks to Gilbert and Nancy had to resist the urge to pop about five caramel chews in her mouth at once. Instead, she put on a smile. "Come along, children, it's time to go," Nancy said, mimicking a rather pedantic Paradox she had once met. They had been more tightly wound than either Gio or even Evelina, in her opinion. "We'll be sure to see you back here next All Hallow's Eve - and yes, with more sweets."

"Awww, already?" one of the kids cried out. Nancy hid the mischievous glimmer in her eyes. "Well, I s'pose we could use your help in settling a bet as we walk..." She started to usher the children into a group, giving Sophia the time she needed to get her limb ready. "Oooh, can we!" one of the kids shouted. Nancy nodded, grinning once she had judged them to be about halfway between the entrance gate and the oak tree. "Which one of us is stronger? I, Nancy, or the sweet Sophia?"

Nancy then held out her hand to Sophia, prepared to do a tug of war test of strength - and terrify the kids in the process.

Andromeda, meanwhile, couldn't help but wonder about the infestation of the timeline with the walking dead. They sounded like zombies to her - that or a rakshasa. There were so many creatures and spirits in her own timeline that even the most skilled hunters didn't know all of them. Everything had to be recorded in lore books and journals, constantly referenced and even then, a hunter might misidentify something that they had encountered and fought early on in their career. "...What were your timelines like?" Andromeda asked, looking at those who remained - namely Bart, Faith, and James.

She had come to the conclusion that hers was irregular - and that likely no one else present had even heard of the Altsoba Massacre. She wondered if the events in Coventry would have a similar name given to them - or if they wouldn't be remembered at all in the passage of time. She supposed one of the Emendators would know, but she doubted they would tell her what had become of her world.

Gilbert Summers, "The Hat"

Location: Ville au Camp (By the Oak)
Skills: N/A

It was most certainly getting on in the evening. Though without the innate sense of time that his fellow Emendator, Gio, possessed, it was accurate to say that he had "Groundhog Day'ed" this loop enough times to get a really, really good sense of the passage of this set of hours. Nonetheless, a being as venerable as Belladonna deserved respect, the least of which would be manifest in what casual manners Gilbert possessed. He swept his hat from his head in another grand gesture, bowing at the waist as a royal courtier might. "You are correct, Mistress Belladonna. The hour grows late - later than comfort allows. Excuse me, please."

Gilbert turned to the gathering children and chaperones, and of course the present Paradoxes. Oddly, it occurred to him that he was one of the senior Emendators on site, and as such should probably demonstrate some form of responsibility with the young charges, more or less. Especially with the hour growing late. The more modern incarnation of The Hat was remarkably laid-back, easygoing, and the type to enjoy life with all of its little points of wonder and luxury. It was not always this way. Not by far. The man he used to be, eons ago, was merely a tool that he brought to the fore in case he was needed. But make no mistake, Gilbert was still that person. A man who ruled the known world at one point in time, bought and paid for by the strength of raw personality and prowess in battle. The least he could do was assist Nancy in corralling a group of kids off of the grounds. Having stragglers at this hour could prove disastrous.

With a voice that carried authority over ancient kingdoms, Gilbert announced with arms held wide, "Ladies and Gentlemen, Young Masters and Ladies of the Night, it is with greatest regret I announce that the festivities for the evening are over. Please stop by the refreshments cart for a bag of goodies," He gave a nod to James, motioning to one side of the bottom shelf, "And immediately following, attend to the heels of the two lovely young women; find your way back to home and hearth. I will help see you to the end of our grounds, if only to ensure that no spirits or were-kind assail you on this dark and foreboding evening." he fell in step behind the visitors, ensuring that none took a detour before arriving at the main exit, "And have yourselves a Happy Halloween, children." He punctuated his sentiment with a sustained laugh that began lighthearted, but slowly turned into something resembling a primal Disney villain.

"After you..."

James Grady

Location: Ville au Camp (By the Oak)
Skills: N/A

There was a question set to James by the extremely pale Paradox. Far be it for him to deny a fellow recently dead person the request of a story. Even one as depressing and frankly, unbelievable as his. Then again, the concept of what was and was not believable took a very strange turn for the worse not too horribly long ago for him. Thinking on it, the same manner of revelation smacked him across the face a few years ago, when a whole different type of recently dead people shambled into a big redneck bonfire party he was attending and turned his concept of "normal" on its head. How he survived that encounter was beyond him. Perhaps the very instincts that he hated within himself, his capacity to be a killer, saved his ass that day. It allowed him to survive and help others, but it bore down on him. Maybe this was how people needed to be to survive in his timeline. He hated it.

James was just about to respond to Andromeda when Gilbert began to speak. It seemed Shakespearean in delivery, despite the common selection of words, as if he were the Sovereign Deity of Movie Ushers, come to alert people that the film was over and there was no Marvel-esque scene in the middle nor the end of the credits. Hell, James himself almost felt like leaving the grounds, until the tall, swarthy Emendator looked in his direction and indicated that there were goodies specifically set aside for the young'uns.

The look upon his face was similar to a deer caught in headlights, except with a mouth stuffed full of candy corn. He bobbed his head up and down, managing to get out a muffled, "Um hmm!" and dropped back down underneath the curtain skirting the cart. Sure enough, there was a box just full of paper lunch sacks, bulky with various goodies and treats. He hastily began passing them out while trying not to choke on the mass-produced confectionery goodness that mortals knew as Candy Corn. When the area became a little less crowded, he responded to the question set to him just earlier. "Miss Andromeda? Love me that book, by the way - hot damn classic - but uh, Miss Andromeda? If'n you wouldn't mind so much? Me an' Sophia's timeline ain't exactly the best o' Southern Hospitality, umm... I give ya details later, but one thing about it: Humanity damn near died out. Dead folks killed off almost all of the livin', and a lotta the livin' wanna use up and deplete the rest of 'em. It's like Hell, Miss A, less you got good friends." He shuddered reflexively, and wondered how his people were doing back in Georgia. He sure as hell hoped they made it out of there.

Faith Masters

Location: Oak Tree
Skills: N/A

Faith was now looking forward to the reset. Not only would they begin training, but Belladonna would be sticking around. Faith was fascinated by her, but she had to be cool. She couldn't let herself get worked up. Instead, she turned to face the children as Gilbert began bidding them a good night. She found herself oddly enjoying the time she spent with the kids. She still didn't like the snot-nosed, dirty things, but they moved up a few notches in her eyes. "Goodnight, ya little gremlins. Remember what we talked about!"

She turned as the pale woman spoke to her, along with the others. The question was probably one everyone was itching to ask. But James spoke up and his version of his timeline ran along hers. "Hey, I was in the same boat. But, why not just call a spade a fucking spade? The dead came back to life and started attacking the living and we had to kill them or be killed in return. And often times, the living were more dangerous. Had to move around a lot, do things I wasn't proud of, but I lived. Well, until....you know. Now I'm here."

Faith grimaced. She realized that, per custom, she would have to ask in return about Andromeda's timeline. Truth was, she didn't care really. "So....how was...your timeline?" The question was awkward and she felt awkward and she really wanted to punch something now. Bart looked like a likely candidate.

(Next update is end of day - get to your rooms this post!)

Belladonna just gave the slightest of smiles with a small tug to the corner of her red lips. She understood what was being said to her and she nodded in understanding. Her fingers laced before her, her knees bending slightly as she began to walk. It was amazing that the woman did not fall and break her neck walking in the dress she wore. Hobble dresses were not the most comfortable to stand in, let alone move in. Yet Belladonna didn't have any issues and her feet moved swiftly and gracefully across the ground as she followed Alexandra to her room. Stairs could be a problem but having worn gowns like this for ages she knew how to maneuver.

Stepping out of room 206, Evelina pulled the door closed behind her. Alicia would not be exiting the room for the rest of the evening. Seemed she was done saying her peace. Pulling out her pocket watch, she glanced down at the time and then walked over to a window. Looking out of it, she glanced over the lawn and spotted that people were being lead away. Things were in order and moving on time. This was good. Reset would occur soon and having the living off the property when that happened helped from things getting gabbled elsewhere. Not that they couldn't work around it if there was a stray or two, they had in the past, but she did prefer things to be orderly.

Glancing around the room that was Alexandras, Belladonna quirked a brow. "Gilbert does a wonderful job at giving one a homely touch, as best he can." Her voice was cool and sultry as she spoke before she found a place to rest herself down. The edge of the bed. Her hands resting in hr lap as her back remained as straight as a stiffs did in the morgue. "I do believe that I might. You seem to have a similar look and change that I had when I first arrived. I have to wonder, are you pregnant young lady?" she asked as she grinned.

Walking down the hallway and across it, Evelina made her way to her quarters. She had spoken at length to Alicia and had gotten the details of what had happened when she decided to go to Cairo for a bit. Vacations without word were not something that Evelina was too keen on, not that anyone could blame her. They kept tabs on everyone for a reason. It might have been a bit harsh to watch over people constantly, but she didn't want someone else to die. She couldn't always be there but if something happened and she knew where they were and why they were there, it made finding them when they needed help easier. Hopefully this was something that Alicia understood fully now and it would not be something she would repeat. Though, knowing Alicias personality, Evelina half expected her to pull this stunt again if she had good enough reason.

Bartholomew Rosecliff

Location: Ville Au Camp, Oak Tree -> Room 207
Skills: N/a

Bart gave a surprised look at Sophia, "Jesus..." He said, shaking his head in disbelief. "I wouldn't have even thought that was possible... Granted, today's changed my perception of that quite a bit but..." He trailed off, considering what kind of mechanisms governed something like that. The human body was so complex, that something could reanimate it in any form sounded crazy. A part of him wondered if, given his newfound ability, he could fix those affected by such a plague. He did, however, realize that without further experimentation, any wondering was just relatively pointless. Bartholomew started to think of the context for which such experiments would have to take place, and shivered a bit. He'd either need to hurt himself, which he didn't at all like the taste of, or he'd need to wait for people to get hurt and need help. The latter, to him, was obviously the better choice, though he would keep a look out for potential alternatives.

Bart gave a shrug at Andromeda's question, "Normal I guess?" He said, unsure of really how to describe it, "No Walking Dead, no "Soulless"" He said, his eyes looking over to Alexandra as she walked away. "Computers, movies, skyscrapers." He said, "Life wasn't that bad, on average at least." He said. That was his perspective on things anyway. Life was the best it'd ever been at any other point in his timeline. There were problems, of course, poverty and crime, but that was just... part of life. At least the way he saw it. "I guess I should count myself as lucky. I don't quite think I could of made it in your world." He shook his head, and watched as Nancy and Gil started to lead the kids out. With that, he assumed, it was time to finally go to bed. He was accustomed to staying up far later into the night, but he needed to pass out right about now, so he turned away from group and, instead of heading to the gate, opted to head right to his room.

He rubbed his eyes, and trudged his way to the house, the prospect of bed making his body finally start to calm itself and give into the exhaustion he had rightly earned by this point. He reached the house, and started up the stairs to his room. He shifted the door open, and closed the door behind him, and quickly realized the Hat had left him without any kind of nightwear. He honestly didn't care at this point, and stripped down to his underwear, collapsed on his bed. He didn't even have the energy to read, as much as he'd like to, especially with the amount of new reads he had to look at. He curled up onto his bed, and just tried to let himself relax and drift off to sleep.

Sophia Harris

Location: The Oak Tree -> Main House: Room 107 (Sophia's Room)
Skills: N/A

"We wouldn't mind helping out with the bet." One of the kids said as one of them shoveled some candy into his face, Sophia turned to look at Nancy for a moment and gave her a nod once she was ready. The moment Nancy gripped her fake hand, Sophia started to tug her arm away and then started to let out a few very loud groans. On the fifth or sixth tug at her prosthetic it popped off, and the Sophia cried out in pain faking it of course as she dropped down to her knees as she started to hold her wrist. Some of the kids started to squeal loudly as they started to run shortly after that towards Gilbert and the other kids and parents that were all leaving. Some of the kids of course stuck around, and then Sophia laid down on her back as she faked playing dead, and laid on her side for a few seconds.

When some of the remaining kids got a little bit to close that's when Sophia let out a low growl and started to get up slowly letting out a zombie like growl as the remaining kids got spooked and then quickly ran off to their parents and then started to leave the grounds. Once all of the kids had and left the grounds with Gilbert Sophia turned to face Nancy and gave her a slight smile. It certainly was a bit entertaining to see the kids get scared and then running off the way that they did. "Well that was fun." Sophia said towards Nancy and then over towards Gilbert for a moment.

She was starting to get a bit tired now, and there was still a whole lot of things that were on her mind right now as well, still thinking about her death and everything was still fresh in her head. And apparently tomorrow was going to be a very long day of training as well, she knelt down and started to pick up her prosthetic hand and strapped it back into place. "I should call it a day, see you tomorrow and sleep well." Sophia said towards Nancy as she turned around and headed back towards the main house, she made her way towards the rooms on the first floor and took out the key to her room 107, and quickly got changed and then started to turn off all the lights within her room, and then closed her eyes and started to fall asleep rather quickly.

Giosue Zino

Location: Ville Au Camp: Room 200->202
Skills: The Watch Act III: Time Sense

The traps had been laid, now all he needed to do was calmly make his way back to his room on the other side of the floor and get tucked in and sleep. That's all that was left for him to do for the night. And yet, when he turned around to leave Nancy's room, he happened to notice something that had slipped past on his way in: one of her blouses had simply been carelessly tossed on the floor, crumpled up and left to wallow in filth. Gio knew that if he did something about it, it would be a dead giveaway that he had been here. But it bothered him that it was there, even if chances were that within the next half hour it would be reset back into a closet or dresser. He couldn't just leave it where it laid.

Gio tapped his foot as he stared at the offending garment. He should have the time to do something with it before Nancy returned, but maybe with the new hands they'd actually managed to get the task of clearing out the guests faster than they normally did. The Emendator quick glanced at his bare wrist, as if the figmentary watch therein would tell him something he didn't already know. A few tortured, indecisive moments passed before he snapped. It bothered him too much. Giosue picked up the blouse, smoothed it out as best as he could and precisely, but gingerly folded it up into a smooth, squared package, putting it to rest directly onto a dresser.

Neurosis calmed, The Watch hastily fled the scene of the crime and returned to his room. The day had been quite thoroughly draining, and although technically he would live it again the next day, it was a relief that it was over now. In the solitude of his room, he disrobed down to his underwear, performed a few light stretches and carefully slid in between the bed covers (He was not the type to carelessly throw into disarray the sheets that he had carefully put into place just that morning. Furthermore, they seemed to be more inviting, more comfortable when left as flat as possible).

Alexandra Andonova

You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

Location: Room 208 (Bedroom)
Skills: N/A

Alexandra glanced around at the interior of her room at Belladonna's compliment of the hominess of it. When her gaze met the woman's again, she shrugged. "It vill do," she stated simply. Don't misconstrue this as her being ungrateful for Gilbert's hard work and attention to detail. She did appreciate it, it was just that she didn't consider herself to be the most overly sentimental person, particularly when it came to material things. Having grown up in a traveling circus for much of her life further instilled that mindset in her. I mean her "room" was literally deconstructed and reconstructed on a fairly regular basic as the circus went from one stop to the next. Besides, in the end, she knew that there was more important stuff to be attached to than just things. People. People are what she truly couldn't live with out.

As Belladonna made herself comfortable, Alexandra chose to sit down in a chair across from the woman. She pulled her legs up onto the surface of the chair, crisscrossing them before resting her hands in her lap. If the way she was now fiddling with her hands was any indication, she seemed rather anxious to figure out what this was all about. She looked over at the woman expectantly, even arching a brow for emphasis. Nevertheless, she wasn't at all prepared for the woman's bold suggestion. Her eyes widened, and her face paled slightly, just before she let out a strangled sound. "GOD NO!!" she blurted out before reiterating. "I mean, I hope not. I mean, don't get me vrong, I like kids and all, but I definitely don't need any right nov or have been looking to have any right nov. I mean, NO I'm not pregnant!" She quickly shut her mouth, realizing she was rambling on like an idiot.

She glanced back and forth between Belladonna's gaze and the lightly decorated wall as an awkward silence filled the room. Of course, that said silence didn't settle well with her, so after a few intolerable moments, she finally decided to fill the void in the only way she knew how, with sarcasm. "This better not lead into some kind of sex talk. Because I really don't need to relive that horror for a second time," she joked. Her brows suddenly furrowed though as a realization dawned on her. "You're joking with me, aren't you?" she stated in exasperation, making a face at the woman. "Please say you're joking."

Nancy Parker & Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Near the Oak Tree ----> Room 200 Room 109
Skills:

Nancy was cackling with glee after Sophia had startled to children. Sure, the bit at the end with the walking dead was a bit obvious for someone from Sophia's timeline, but the looks of shock and fear on the kid's faces as Sophia "lost" an arm and then got right back up? Priceless! She was snickering to herself, recalling a particular prank from her past that had ended up getting turned into something of a legend. Of course, it wasn't nearly as dramatic as everyone claimed it had been. Yes she had entered a blind man in an archery contest and yes someone had gotten shot, but they lived. Well, for another couple years before dying of illness. It certainly hadn't caused Ragnarok or anything like that.

"Going to bed already?" Nancy asked, disappointed. She supposed it was close to reset and all the children had been ushered off. She glanced over at Gilbert, moderately annoyed that he had decided to tag along as an additional chaperone, but whatever. She could live with it. She glanced around for a moment, wondering if she should go and bother Giouse, before she shrugged and without a word, left to return to the house. As Nancy practically skipped inside and then dashed up the steps, taking them three at a time, she knocked obnoxiously on Giouse's door before running into her own room and jumping into bed.

As she bounced upwards, a rain of glitter and sparkles came up from her pillow and Nancy let out a shriek. While most people would have been irritated with the glitter bomb, Nancy LOVED it. She always felt Ville au Camp was too drab and dreary, but hey, that was the 1940's for you. "THANK YOU!!!!!" she screamed, not caring if she woke anyone up as she continued to bounce up and down on her bed, enjoying the seemingly never ending rain of sparkles and glitter. She was covered in it, as was most of her things. Eventually, she'd run out of energy - but for now, she was bouncing up and down on the bed, knowing that reset would clean it all anyways.

Meanwhile outside, Andromeda nodded as she took in the information. It sounded like most of her fellow Paradoxes had come from some sort of Zombie Survivor type of world. However, it confused her at the same time. How had the outbreak gotten that bad? In her world, even when things were horrible and it looked like civilization was about to end, hunters had always swooped in and saved the day. It was perhaps the only thing that redeemed her timeline, in her opinion. "So you guys had zombies, then," Andromeda summarized. She couldn't help but feel a swell of pride for her timeline. At least they had managed to keep civilization going.

"We had...everything. Ghosts, demons, angels, Norse gods, changelings, pixies, wendigos, witches...My half-brother, he was familiar with Satanic rituals and stuff. Pretty much everything was real - people tended to ignore it and the government kept on covering it all up...Only thing that I'm not sure if it was real or not would be aliens, really," Andromeda explained. She couldn't help but feel a bit awkward. "We had things like zombies too...Croatoan virus...but it never got that bad. Hunters shut it down - like my half brother, he was involved in this sort of stuff."

She then nodded as the other Paradoxes started to turn in for the night. "I should get some rest too...I'm feeling drained," unfortunately only Alicia would likely get that slight pun, as Andromeda nodded once more and then headed off to her room, going inside and sitting down on the bed as she took a deep breath to center her mind before bed.

Faith Masters

Location: Oak Tree -> Faith's Bedroom (Room 108)
Skills: N/A

Faith barely registered the woman's words. She was more concerned with the events of the next few days. Rather, she was excited to be able to train and practice her abilities. They would be dealing with more than Walkers, she was sure of it, and that alone was far better than anything else. And the intoxicating Belladonna would be around as well and Faith really wanted to pick the girl's brains.

The girl was still talking when Faith returned to the present enough to catch herself twirling her hair in her fingers. A silly action and one easily seen by others. She did so when thinking. The others probably noticed it too, but she didn't care. The children were on their way home and she was ready for the day to be over. Or reset rather. "Well, this has been aces. I am off for bed as well." Not bothering to say goodnight, Faith turned and made her way back to the house and to her room.

She entered, feeling a sense of comfort upon seeing her room again. It had been years since she had a bedroom to call her own. She flopped on the bed, feeling the comfort of it as she grabbed her stuffed dog and cuddled with it. She got ready for sleep as she nuzzled into the covers, falling soon into dreamland. Even if her dreams came back to her, the carnage and danger, she was not afraid. In fact, she was more ready than ever.

Gilbert Summers, "The Hat"

Location: Ville au Camp (Main exit -> Room 203)
Skills: N/A

It was a fine night, Gilbert noted, in Louisiana. Thanks to the time loop it was always a fine night, but sometimes it still bore notation. He marveled at the fact that, even though it was an endless loop of the same piece of time, things could still come out so differently. Their actions, no matter how small, blossomed into other happenings. And now with the introduction of new Paradoxes, things were getting interesting again. And he was hungry. But that wasn't especially new, no matter what happened to the loop.

So, perhaps a quick jaunt to the Kitchen House would be a grand idea just before the reset. Mentally Gilbert inventoried what they had available. He was feeling a bit meaty just then, perhaps something left from breakfast in the icebox would suffice. Or he could go for a can of corned beef hash. He did like the stuff, even if it did remind him of dog food. Then a notion crept into his memory: There were several cans of asparagus sitting behind the dried beans in the pantry. The thought of it suddenly made him lose his interest in a midnight snack. I mean, what the hell was canned asparagus anyway? Aside from disgusting... only to stave off starvation. And he wasn't sure if he could even die of starvation. No, wait for breakfast. Go settle in for the night.

The jog to his room was brief. He could do it in the dark. Had, many times. Up the stairs, around the bend, and into Room 203. Grab some sleep, etc. He did not count on what appeared to be an errant banana peel laying suspiciously on the floor. His hand still clutching the doorknob, Gilbert planted a foot upon the dim yellow prop, and said foot skidded out wide in front of him. The ponderous weight of the tall Emendator caught fully upon the doorknob, ripping it free from the door with a series of wooden shards. Gilbert plopped on the floor hopelessly, knowing full well that one of two people was responsible. But he was done tonight. Without bothering to right the door, he dropped the knob, stripped down to his boxers, and lay down on his bed. Gil had enough of this day.

James Grady

Location: Ville au Camp (By the Oak -> Room 209)
Skills: N/A

Meanwhile, James busied himself with putting the cart back into the Kitchen House. So far as he knew, this "reset" they were talking about would fix everything anyway, but he at least wanted it out of the way. Keep the grounds tidy, that sort of thing. He bid a couple of polite good nights and excused himself, rolling the cart into its assigned building and turning back around to the main house. Briefly, he saw Gilbert move in the direction of the Kitchen House, but then stop, look a little green, and continue to the main house himself.

James wondered what h8s life was going to be like, starting tomorrow. Maybe like one of those old kung-fu movies he loved growing up, where he would receive massive training and a snazzy outfit. Maybe a new, fu-esque name upon graduation. It was all in the realm of fantasy, but objectively, he was a dead guy magically transported to rural Louisiana decades before he was even born. It could happen.

What could also happen was him getting rest. Being dead and the events of the day had flat worn him out. He decided to take Evelina's advice and settle in for the night, leave tomorrow's business for tomorrow. Approaching his room, he mentally prepared himself for what he would find inside. Memories and souvenirs from his old life, but also a comfortable bed in a venerable house. He could do with that. Time for sleep. The rest would sort itself out.

(End Of Day Peeps - off to Lala Land. I will be posting ~Training Cases~ next update!)

While Belladonna had a penchant for holding perfectly still with her body, her eyes were far more dramatic as they quirked and lifted. "Oh my dear I never joke but since you are sure, I will have to look into this further. There is just something... she said as she lifted her hand. her long fingers fanning out and then pointing a single index finger of alabaster towards the girl. "Off about you. Not mentally, well perhaps as such but not in a normal sense. If there isn't something extra about you then something must be missing..."Bella rose from her place and stepped over to the young woman, taking her hands in her own cold ones. She looked her over before brushing back a lose strand of hair.

"Worry not my child, you are one of mine, I will tend to you," she said before giving her the softest chill of a kiss to her forehead and sauntering towards the door. Glancing over her shoulder she laced her fingers together. "I will speak to the Lady of the house, you will be training with me," she said before stepping out. It wasn't unheard of for a Paradox to train another Paradox, it was just rare. Very few Paradoxes ever lived long enough to become trainers in their own right. There were some though and Belladonna was the eldest of the Paradoxes. Old enough not to be considered a child in the eyes of the Emendators. At least not age wise, it was doubtful though even in her human life that she had ever been thought of as a child. Belladonna always had this air about her of age and death.

The house was quiet now that people were leaving, had left, and were settling in for the evening. The next few weeks would bring many changes for the new arrivals and perhaps some even for the Emendators. There was something amiss out there, more than usual. So many new Paradoxes, so many had died recently. Old family was returning and new family being born. It was a time of change and change ever meant something good. This was the calm before the storm, if right then could be considered calm. It was as calm as one could hope for as the hour struck and the stars froze. No more twinkle, but a shift, a stream of light connecting the paths the stars had traveled. Time was resetting, it was a fresh start, a new day but the same day. It was a chance to start again.

Bartholomew Rosecliff

Location: Room 207 -> Study (Room 102) -> Room 207
Skills: N/a

Bartholomew's eyes cracked open, and he burrowed his head deeper into his pillow. "Mmmmmhhh" He groaned. A part of him had really hoped that he'd wake up back in Justice, but alas, he was where he fell asleep. He exhaled, "'Bout what I expected." He murmured dejectedly into the pillowcase, which was of course, less than sympathetic. It was at this point, he realized, that he'd proven himself unable to get a full nights rest, as it was still clearly dark outside, and he still felt exhausted. He sat up on his bed, and shook his head. He just couldn't get his mind to calm down. Information overload, too much in his head, and he needed to just... address it some how. He huffed and crossed his arms, and he settled on an action plan.

A few minutes later, he was dressed and out the door, and heading straight to the study. He figured, given that he had a massive amount of new information to sort out, the very best thing he could do would be to organize it, by hand. Where he might have previously started typing up notes and spreadsheets, here he'd be forced to engage in more archaic methods: Good old pen and paper! He stepped into the room, and found himself a place to sit, a piece of paper, and a pen, and got to writing. He started with the most important people he could think of, The Emendators. He wrote down their name, title, any powers he was aware of, and various observations he'd made about them. He knew the least about Nancy out of any of them, so that told him who to talk to next at least.

From there, he went onto The Paradoxes, he knew a lot less about most of them, but he wrote what he could. He wrote "Soulless???" and circled it under Alexandra, along with notes about what he'd learned about the undead land some of the paradoxes came from, and carved out a section for Vile Au Camp. Lastly, he marked out a section for the Destruere, but realized he knew practically nothing about them. He wrote "Invisible" and "Evil?" But besides that, he was out of things to write. He read over it a few times, and nodded, folding it neatly and placing it into his pocket. He leaned back in the chair, and made a mental note to ask The Hat for a journal, deciding he'd be keeping up notes of this fashion. He exhaled, feeling a bit more relaxed and better about himself now. He slowly rose out of his chair, and headed back up to his room. As soon as he could, he snuggled back onto his bed, and was finally able to actually get to sleep.

Sophia Harris

Location: Ville au Camp, Main House: Room 107 (Sophia's Room)
Skills: N/A

Sophia quickly fell asleep, and she started to dream of her life before the outbreak had happened, it was a hot summer day she was standing in what looked like what would be a family room of a new house. The floorboards were just set up, and the outlines of the walls of the house were just set up as well. Sophia was sitting down on a small table and was pulling out a bagged lunch she had just made before going to the worksite. Sophia leaned back in the chair as she looked at the blueprints as well, and started to go over the plans once more and what they needed set up as well.

She then turned her head to look over as she could hear some groaning in the distance as Sophia stood up and turned around, Sophia noticed it was her husband Andrew. Then she could hear more groaning as she stumbled back and noticed Niesha as well, as a walker as they started to get closer towards her. Then Sophia shot back up from her bed gasping slightly as she ran a hand through her hair and looked around her new bedroom. Sophia closed her eyes and rubbed her eyes with her right arm, it was just a nightmare after all she leaned back in her bed and looked up at the ceiling.

Sophia looked over at the bedside table and then reached over for the picture of both Niesha and Andrew, sighing to herself as she looked at the wedding ring as well. She wanted to see them all again, and missed them dearly as well Sophia knew that Andrew was long dead by now but she wasn't sure if Niesha was still alive or not. Sophia knew that she couldn't go back as it was a rule now, and that's what had happened to the man Peter apparently. Sophia decided to at least try and get some sleep at least, she wouldn't be able to use anything like a phone or tablet since they have not been invented yet. She rolled over onto her side once more and closed her eyes again, as she tried to get a bit of shuteye before tomorrow.

Giosue Zino

Location: Ville Au Camp: Room 202
Skills: Dance

Gio woke up at the same time as he always did. Even taking the body's tendency to want to follow a given schedule once programmed, or his own innate time sensing capabilities, the mere fact that he had grown quite accustomed to living the same day over and over again meant that he had plenty of time to get really good at maintaining his routine. After all, he had the same amount of time to get everything done and he knew exactly how long every step of the process took and even how much additional time various alterations would add.

But today was different. He didn't know why, but he felt good this morning. Maybe he had actually been looking forward to training the Paradoxes more than he had thought just the night before. Maybe actually being able to pull off a prank or two for the first time in "weeks," and from it he got some form of catharsis. Maybe he had just gotten some really good sleep.

Who knew, the why of the situation didn't matter right then. Gio was feeling himself, and he let it be known to the rest of the empty room. When he sat up, it began with him tapping his foot in time with the beginning of a song he could only hear in his head. And then he leapt up from his bed. He danced through the entirety of his morning routine. After getting ready, the emendator stood in front of the door. In an instant the goofy cheeriness in his face quieted to a neutral expression and he straightened his posture. The new Paradoxes would get enough silliness from Nancy for now. He had to be one of the stern faces for the kids. At least for now. But even so, he couldn't stop himself from whistling the tune as he strolled out of his room.

As Gio stepped out of the room, he contemplated where he should go first. Ah, he knew just the place. He would set up the the old arena. That would be a great training experience for the hoplites. He hustled up the stairs to the 4th floor of the Camp Main House. Up there, he turned the corner to the massive outdoor field, the grass cleared to reveal bare earth in a circle large enough to do most physical activities you could care to do.

Occasionally men would run up to him and ask him what they should be doing for their current patrol, and he'd direct them off to perform some menial, but important task. The whole field had been set up with practice shields and spears. Everyone was going to drill phalanx formation again. It got dreadfully dull, but it was also highly important to have down.

It was then that Mikanos informed him that the enemy was upon them. Wait, that wasn't right. There was no way that the Cretans would be attacking here and now. And then, there was a noise of in the distance. Well not so much a singular sound, but a distant cacophony. Like a swarm of locusts coming to overtake a crop. Then Thucydidas turned to look up and see the first lob of arrows arc downward upon them.

Giosue woke up and rubbed his eyes. It had been a long time since he'd had that dream. 12,493 nights to be specific. He had thought he'd been rid of that one. Perhaps the lack of food over the course of the day did this. In the darkness he blinked once and then twice before rolling back over in bed. He could only hope he'd be able to return to sleep once again.

Faith Masters

Location: Faith's Bedroom (Room 108)
Skills: N/A

Faith had been in bed for a bit, but she fell asleep almost immediately. The day's events had worn her out. Discovering her power, leading kids on a tour, it was a lot. She was desperate for the reset as it meant she would start work as a Paradox. Though she moved through the day with relative ease, it had only now dawned on her just where she was and how she got here. She would not go back, it seemed. She would have to find out how much that rule could be bent, because if they expected her to sit idly by as her killer roamed free, then they obviously didn't know her too well.

But she was also excited at the opportunity to be more than she was. More than the Prom Queen Zombie Killer she was in her past. More than surviving every day. She had a home, such as it was. She had food. She had people she could probably learn to tolerate to work with and interesting characters to learn from. No, she would probably not be bored here.

But would she move on? Or would she die again?

Alexandra Andonova

Replace fear of the unknown with curiosity.

Location: Room 208 (Bedroom)
Skills: N/A

At hearing Belladonna's words, Alexandra's facial expression became downcast. There was a tightness to her lips and a crease between her lightly furrowed brows. Despite what her sudden outburst might suggest, she was almost certain that she wasn't pregnant. Perhaps she should feel relieved at that notion, but she wasn't. The reason being was that all this meant was that there was something else at play here, something that seemed entirely out of her control. She let out a small breath. "Great...," she stated bitterly. She pulled her gaze away from the alabaster woman, biting her lip softly as her gaze gravitated to the portraits of her parents on her bedside table.

She tried to block out the barrage of questions and uncertainties that came to the forefront of her mind, those feelings of vulnerability and helplessness she so despised. She was totally out of her element here and it bogged her down, impeding her usual confidence. As she was too engrossed in her thoughts, it didn't register with her that Belladonna had come over to her until she felt the woman's cold hands grasp her own warmer ones. Alexandra looked down at their hands before looking up at the woman, uncertainty and confusion plainly written in her eyes. However, she soon felt a swell of warmth, sharply contrasting the coolness of Belladonna's exterior, at the woman's gentle, comforting touch and words. It was like the touch of--the touch of a mother.

"Thank you," she whispered the only words she could conjure up in the moment. She gave Belladonna a small smile before the woman left the room about as silent as death itself. She let out another small sigh as the door softly clicked shut behind her. She rubbed her eyes, tired from the day's overwhelming events. She slowly got up from her chair and changed her clothes before crawling into bed. She pulled the covers tighter around her before closing her eyes. She would soon fall into a mostly dreamless sleep.
