I've been told I hate everything, and granted I'm probably overly cynical before I watch most things. But maybe more movies and shows can be good first. ;P

I think you'll find that for every bad movie that comes out there are five good ones right around the corner. This year alone we've had:
-Thoroughbreds
-Isle of Dogs
-You Were Never Really Here
-Tully
-American Animals
-Ocean's 8
-Sorry to Bother You
-Mission: Impossible - Fallout
-First Man
-A Quiet Place
-Oh Lucy!
-BlackKklansman
-Have A Nice Day
-Puzzle
-Beirut
-Disobedience
-Love, Simon
-Mary and the Witch's Flower
-The Miseducation of Cameron Post
-Hearts Beat Loud
-Hereditary
-Searching
-Leave No Trace
-Eighth Grade
-Avengers: Infinity War
i just saw infinity war and if i'm honest it was underwhelming. i was expecting the airport scene from civil war but better but it just didn't hit that spot like civil war did. it was still a good movie, but it just wasn't as good as i was hoping it'd be. it's probably an 8.5/10 for me.star-lord fucked EVERYTHING up
i originally thought the scarlet witch's love for vision was so fucking stupid and costed humanity their lives, but as it turns out thanos wasn't having any of that anyway LOL
i don't understand why hulk still wasn't showing up... he would've at least done something to hold thanos back
thor should've gone for the head
thanos was actually a really good villain.
the ending was much more dramatic than i thought it would be
WOOO CAPTAIN MARVEL

You've also spent the better part of a year having people hype it up. But now to address the spoiler stuff.-Star-Lord didn't fuck everything up. It was a character flaw that was applauded in GOTG 2 and exploited in IW, which is a movie all about failure and flaws of the characters. Never mind the fact that Strange needed this to happen or that Nebula, who was not part of the plan, could have interfered. Never mind that Thanos beat the Hulk without the use of the Stones OR the Gauntlet which means taking them off wouldn't exactly make Thanos helpess without the gauntlet, if you're going to blame Star-Lord for fucking up then you should also blame Thor for A: Not doing anything to prevent Thanos from getting the Mind Stone and B: Quipping first.
What's wrong with Wanda and Vision's love? Never mind that it's part of comic lore, but Wanda is basically an outcast as much as Vision is and they share that bond. Plus the movie is about the heroes not willing to make the same sacrifices and choices as Thanos, such as sacrifice of a loved one.
Hulk is a pissy baby who got his ass beat and didn't want to fight Banner's battles anymore. His not showing up serves three points. Comedy. Character growth for Banner. And to make his inevitable return in Avengers 4 all the cooler. Also what could Hulk have done? Dude got straight bodied by Thanos.
Yes. He should've.
Yes. He was.
Yes. It was.
God damn right
I feel like if Wanda had let them just straight up destroy Vision for everyone's sake right there and then in Wakanda it would've saved a lot of trouble, especially since Vision died anyway. Doctor Strange saw all of those futures after the decision to preserve Vision, right? What wouldve happened if they decided to destroy both him and the stone in one go? Unless Doctor Strange saw every outcome with that in mind.
