GM Plot Type: PvE (PVP is optional between players who agree to it)

The World Martial Arts Tournament, “The Number One Under Heaven Martial Arts Gathering,” was once the grounds of an old temple. Every three years, Earth’s strongest fighters gather to show the world their prowess and why they think they should be the next World Champion. Besides the World Title, the winner will receive ten million zeni. While second place will receive five million, third place three million, fourth place two million, and fifth place one million. The rules are if a competitor steps outside the ring (the square cement platform), is unable to stand up before a count of ten seconds, or gives up, automatically loses. If both fighters are knocked out and neither can reach their feet by a count of ten, then it is a draw. If this were to happen in the final match, then the tournament will wait until either unconscious fighter becomes conscious. The conscious competitor then must stand to their feet and declare “I am the champion!”

Weapons, protective body gear, or teams are forbidden in the tournament. Natural weapons are permitted such as claws if this is applicable to your species. Poking someone in the eyes or hitting them in the groin is not allowed—although the latter can be overlooked if it was “accidental.” The most important rule is that killing the opponent is not allowed. Disobeying any of these rules results in a disqualification from the tournament.

The Story: Your character has arrived to the World Martial Arts Tournament as either a participant or a spectator. During the tournament, there is a group of shady humans (at least they appear to be) who have been somehow knocking their opponents unconscious. Moments later, your character learns that the opponents knocked unconscious mysteriously die by unknown circumstances afterwards. This doesn’t seem right; and though the shady group didn’t sign up as a team (because that would be disqualifying), they seem to all be seeking to get into the top five. What are they hoping to collect all the zeni for? You can’t let them succeed!

Match-Up

This will be posted later. This is where the who v. who will be posted. The tournament hasn't officially begun yet. Fighters should be arriving and getting situated for the show is about to go on!

Tournament Areas

These areas are free to explore unless otherwise labeled as restricted.
  • Fighter Registration: (Optional) You can post here first or skip it. We will assume you registered already.
  • Fighter Waiting Area and Locker Room: Fighters can relax in this location prior to walking out to the arena. Unfortunately, some fighters like to showboat in this area.
  • Concessions: Hungry? They have the most unhealthiest selection to satiate you from sugar to fried foods.
  • VIP Lounge (Restricted): Only the rich and famous are permitted through here.
  • The Stands: This is where spectators sit to watch the show.
  • The Arena (accessible only during competition): Where the show begins!
  • Tailgate Lot: RVs in the parking lot sometime BBQ, serve beer, and watch the tournament from there. Sometimes it is much safer to watch from a distance. Their food is probably healthier.
  • Gift Shop: Want to buy a tournament memento T-shirt? Want to buy other memorable junk? Come to the Gift Shop!

4. Interact. There are a lot of things to do. Meet each other and do it together.
5. Posting Courtesy. Allow every player involved to have a chance to post. Unless you get that writer's permission to skip him or her, then you may do so. Do not make a tea party.

7. Use th Tag. The tag is designed to help everyone keep track of your character's location and who he or she is talking to. Please have the tag posted at the top of every single one of your posts. Thank you.

Character Name: Beryl Bloodstone
Race: Human - Magi
PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning
Location: Fighter Waiting Room
Tagging: N/A

Having registered as soon as it opened, Beryl was now waiting for the others to show up. Despite the fact she wasn't a fighter, she had some confidence in her ability to win because for what she lacked in martial prowess, she made up for in willingness to cheat at every opportunity. She already had it all planned out, if the method for choosing match ups allowed for it, she would pair herself up with the weakest looking fighter while matching up the strongest against each other. Of course, she'd try to interfere as much as possible in their fights as well, hopefully weakening them to make her win over them even easier. Then the ten million zeni would allow her to live her dream life. A huge mansion in the city, more cars than she could ever find the time to drive, plenty of household staff to do every little thing she asks, and of course a giant pool to lounge around. What a wonderful life...

But realizing her mistake, she quickly snapped out of it and focused on the area around her. She needed to pay attention, surely some musclebound idiots would soon arrive and start showing off to each other. That was all they ever did, this tournament itself is just a way for useless bums to show off after all. Martial artists have no use in the modern world but they have fragile egos that need to be constantly propped up with stupid things like this.

In an attempt to act natural, Beryl reached into a pouch and pulled out a few hokey crystals. It was amazing how much people would pay for these things, just as long as you make up all sorts of benefits to having them. She then held a dark green one up to the light and looked at it before sighing. She was losing focus again, but she could hardly be blamed for it, no one else had showed up yet. "Maybe I'll win by default."

Unit 05b
Android
PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning
Location: Waiting Area
Tag: @CommanderCool

Unit 05b was replaying the memory of the registration that had occurred mere minutes ago, with how she had entered with her programmed name and had told the registration officials all her specifications and the capabilities of her A.I. Granted, she looked completely human, with the exception of the two holes in her calves which allowed her thrusters to activate. To others, she seemed lost in thought, her red eyes staring blankly ahead, unblinking and unmoving. However, her professor decided on a more lucrative task, watching those who decided to show off.

Her analysis program would find any flaw within their fighting styles, and it would allow her to more efficiently eliminate them from the competition swiftly. This would allow her to earn the zeni that Dr. Nanos would need in order to upgrade her and fight the likes of 5a, something that needed to be dealt with quickly. However, there was something that running through her A.I., it was a grudge, one of the first human emotions that she could feel. The fight that had originally ruined her plagued her, wondering how she had lost outright to 5a when she was designed to be able to counteract her. For a moment her hands balled into fists before her mind switched focus once more to avoid analyzing that fight.

Her eyes scanned the room momentarily, finding a woman with a strange hat on, holding up a dark green crystal. 5b cocked her head to the side before approaching the woman, asking “What kind of crystal is that?” The voice she spoke with was cold and emotionless, much like the expression within her eyes, though that was since she did not know how to properly display emotion yet.

Yang Wuxin
Earthling Human
PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning
Location: Waiting Area
Tagging: @CommanderCool, @Lauder

Registration went smoothly, the only thing Yang needed to offer was his name and after a quick search to ensure he wasn't armed, he was given a pass to grant him entry into the Waiting Area. He didn't have to use it right away, the staff had explained, he could get a meal or look around the outer grounds if he desired so long as he was in the Waiting Area in time for the opening ceremony. But Yang headed directly to the Waiting Area, having no real desire to play the tourist. He was here to fight, and nothing else would distract him.

In the waiting area itself, Yang found there was barely any participants present. Perhaps he was early, then? It didn't matter, Yang's eyes stared in the direction of the conversing women. Well, one was clearly a woman, the other was less obvious. Neither looked like martial artists to him, but Yang was taught long ago to never trust in outer appearances. Underestimating or even overestimating an opponent based on their appearance was always the first step to one's ultimate downfall. He raised a hand, offering a small wave of acknowledgement before going on his way. Yang wasn't a conversationalist, and talking wasn't the reason he came all this way.

The fighter found a corner nearby and planted himself there, sitting cross-legged on the floor in what clearly looked like some form of meditation. He'd heard participants liked to show off in this room, but he personally found that to be rather foolish. Showing your future opponents what you could do before you even stepped in the ring was the easiest way to broadcast to everyone what your weaknesses were. Besides, Yang didn't come to this Tournament to show off or impress anyone. In fact, he couldn't give two figs about the title or even the prize money either. There was only one person here that Yang cared about surpassing... and that was himself.

While she was admiring her crystal, a strange girl approached and asked about it. Perfect. "Oh, this? Why it's a fortune crystal, you've never seen one before? How odd." Beryl lowered the crystal and looked through it at the girl. "I can't imagine how you lived this long without one, but it must have been difficult. Perhaps..." Lowering the crystal, she then rubbed her chin with her other hand. "Maybe I could sell you this one. But, they are pretty rare so... Well, I'll be honest with you, some people consider them to be a little on the expensive side, but I can assure you the power they hold makes it worth every zeni." Just because she planned on winning the tournament, doesn't mean she can't make some extra money on the side. "What do you think?"

While this was happening, the third fighter showed up and simply waved before sitting in the corner. This was the exact opposite of what she wanted. Here he comes, walking right past two girls and not showing off before the fights started? What the hell was wrong with him? "Hello there, why don't you come join us? The company will make time pass faster for you." He didn't seem like the type to buy a crystal, but maybe she could get something about his ability out of him. "Come on, don't be shy. We wont bite."

Character Name: Grisha
Race: Saiyan
PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning
Location: Tailgate Parking Lot
Tagging: Open, Lena (NPC)

The tournament parking lot was full of RVs, lawn chairs, coolers, and bbq grills. Tailgaters were blasting country music, classic rock, rap, whatever music one could think of as they drank their beers and shared their delectable splendor with their neighbors. There were both radios and TVs in the parking lot that they were watching the tournament on. The wiser spectators knew it was safer at times to be outside the stadium during competitions for sometimes the battle left the stage and collateral damage affected the stands.

There was a stout man painting some steaks he had roasting over a fire with his special marinade. The blonde-haired, pot-bellied man sipped from his can of IPA and grinned happily at the sight of his dripping works of art. The bouillon was just streaming. Turning his head to grin over his shoulder at his wife, the man cheerfully exclaimed, “Look at these steaks! Aren’t these the sexiest things you’ve ever seen?”

His wife was wearing a red bikini top and frayed, short-shorts as she was bent over a plastic table, fiddling with the television set. “That’s nice honey,” she said in a preoccupied voice.

Her husband regarded her backside, his cheeks flushing as the corners of his mouth arched lewdly. He returned his blue sights to the grill and stumbled backwards with a startled gasp when he saw a mysterious man crouched before it. He was dressed oddly—definitely clothes not from around here. Steel pauldrons adorned his shoulders beneath a thick cape of what could have been a bear pelt for all he knew. Bones from strange animals adorned a neck that looked to be as wide as his forearm. There was an odd crown upon the foreigner’s head. It had a white mane and it looked to be comprised of a menacing skull. He had to have been a competitor or a foreign native.

The blonde man’s mouth hung open. He was lost for words as he watched the foreigner stare at his steaks. He then saw something…it was swaying behind him. It resembled the tail of a monkey—did he have a tail? The man’s mouth fell open even wider as he stared at it. What was this thing? The foreigner smiled and leaned close to the grill, giving two deep whiffs of his food. A grin then expanded on his face, seeping with drool.

“Aah, it good meat!” the foreigner exclaimed. He then reached for the meat without his permission but rather than a protest, what slipped from the stunned man’s mouth was:

“Hey! Be careful it’s-”

The foreigner stood as he raised the dripping steak over his mouth. He was massive. The blonde man’s eyes swelled to the size of saucers and his face paled. He squeaked, “Uh…never mind.”

He watched the foreigner snag the steak between his teeth, and slowly it whittled away as though into a grinder with the guidance of a single finger. The giant’s cheeks swelled with the flavors of coal, umami, and a sweet smokey marinade. He smiled as a tear near came to his eyes. It tasted so good!

“Grisha!” a scolding voice sounded from behind the foreigner. The blonde man’s brows rose. It sounded like a girl, but he couldn’t see her passed the giant’s frame. She finally marched up next to him and with her hands upon her hips, she frowned up at the giant and growled, “I told you not to run off! Geez, you can’t follow directions.” She then glanced over to the blonde man and his grill. Her blue eyes went from the grill up to Grisha and his munching, and then back down to the grill. The girl’s eyes widened and she screamed in panic, “AH!”

“Grisha! Did you steal this man’s food!?”

The blonde man rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. He didn’t want any trouble—especially not with the big guy. “Oh, it’s okay. I’m glad he likes it.”

“Meat good!” Grisha exuberantly exclaimed.

“No; it’s not okay. I’m trying to teach him not to steal,” the girl, Lena, told the man. She then crossed her arms before her chest and glared at Grisha. “Grisha, you stole this man’s food without asking. You can’t do that. It’s wrong. You have to apologize now.”

The giant peered down at the little girl and his once happy smile vanished and sank into a disappointed frown. Pressing his arms against his sides, Grisha bowed until his large frame was parallel to the ground, and there was a loud hiss of his face meeting the grill.

“Sorry,” he apologized.

Both Lena and the blonde man shrieked in shock as his crown suddenly burst into flame: “AH!”

Character Name: Sheeban

PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning

The World Martial Arts Tournament, it was a key destination for all sorts of fighters. Many sought the winner's purse, others sought glory, some just wanted the honor of being able to participate in such a notable tournament. Chanko's goal was her own, and she kept it close to her chest, but here she knew her goal. Winning would be ideal to it, but perhaps not necessary, all that mattered was that she performed in such an entertaining way that she would sway the crowd to Satan's Castle. And Sheeban, the Dungeon's Princess, knew in her heart of heart that she would be able to easily make that goal a reality.

Now with all the organizations that had a piece of the pie, it was well - let us say - difficult to determine what 'level' was being operated on. It was clear there were no backstage agents playing a vital role in the tournament in helping out the various fighters; but that did not necessarily note which type of combating amusement was going on. This information would be gathered, discretely of course. After all if her fellow combatants were unaware of particular ways of 'the Castle' or other Dojos that operated like it, they were undeserving of the secrets that the Castle held. And Sheeban would not violate one of the many key oaths she took while entering the tutelage of Satan's Castle.

As it was not quite show-time yet - and the fact she did have lockers available - Chanko was dressed in a simple grey jumpsuit emblazoned with the Satan Castle logo, slinging a massive duffel-bag over her shoulders. Bursting into the locker room she examined over her peers here.

They were all small and insignificant to Sheeban; but beyond that initial stock she took note of her future prey in the white concrete jungle. There was bald midget - too big to be an entertaining resource for being small but too small to be valuable for anything else - he clearly existed as fodder for his dojo. Then there was the vomit neon of a mess of a girl in ring attire which clearly had no funds for any decent gear. And then there was the nondescript looking woman dressed in black - who probably knew she was never going to get a featured spot.

Placing her right foot on the bench near one of the open lockers, Sheeban let out a massive snort as she whipped off the duffel-bag and threw it next to her. Unzipping it she first pulled out her hair-spray as she began spraying it at her own blonde locks, to make sure they were stellar as always, before spraying it around her at all of the other contestants.

"EEUUUUUGH~!" Sheeban declared as she exaggeratedly grabbed at her nose and began fanning at herself, "WHAT ARE YOU PITIFUL CREATURES DOING STINKING UP THIS PLACE WITH THE RIFF-RAFF OF FAILURE!" Sheeban thrust her right finger towards her chest, "THE DUNGEON'S PRINCESS CANNOT ACCEPT SUCH PITIFUL CONDITIONS!" She proceeded to get her spandex ring attire ready for changing as she continued on with her monologue.

"Gaze and witness your destruction you pathetic ants! You are mole-hills gazing up to A MOUNTAIN! Everyone out there, and all those watching at home, know that bigger is better and none are as big as Sheeban of Satan's Castle! You gotta be big to get big opportunities! There's no place for the little guy! You know what they say DOG EAT DOG - " With a smirk she slapped against her stomach and snarled, "- AND I'M HUNGRY TO WHOOP SOME ASS!"

Unit 05b
Android
PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning
Location: Waiting Area
Tag: @CommanderCool@Williwaw

An offer of sale was something most organics tended to do, however, it seemed that she was using it as a power source. Unit 5b could not condone a human to be using what was likely a radioactive material so she reached for it. She noticed the woman turning to call to someone who had passed by, seeing it as her opportunity to properly take the postentially hazardous material. “I am sorry, but I must rovoke this rock due to the potential danger of radiation poisoning. You may have it back when you are wearing the correct attire to handle such things,” her voice was still emotionless, but her hand stopped when she heard yelling nearby. 5b turned to see a rather large women proclaiming that a everyone else was below her.

5b cocked her head to the side in curiosity, listening the egotistical woman before responding with a normal emotionless voice, ”They say that those which act the way that egotistical before an event are those most self conscious about losing.” Her analytic side had kicked in, taking note of the woman’s vulgarity and full hearty nature finding it to be rather strange and reminiscent of how her creator would act in the past, from the observations of old security footage. Granted this woman was far more aggressive than the Doctor had been.

”I can always offer my aid in boosting confidence but this tournament is not optimal to do so. If your neural patterns are displaying worry the perhaps you should withdraw from the tournament,” 5b stated, unintentionally and unknowingly insulting her due to her attitude. Yet, Unit 5b was very genuine, though it was almost unnoticeable through the voice as it displayed to way to tell. What’s more, is that the Android seemed to be totally unfazed about what the large woman had stated, finding no offense or any threat behind it.

"Fear is for little people who think small like you Short-fry. SSSSNUUUUUCK." snorted out Sheeban, as her nostrils flared and some spitel flung itself towards 5b. "But for ROYALTY like me..." began Sheeban as she began to remove her tracksuit as she began to pull out her spandex gear and change into the proper ring attire, "...It never crosses my mind. Because I am ABOVE little creatures and your desires, fears and thoughts! I am large and in charge, like a weaponized barge! You're tiny and meek, like the sheep I eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner."

Spreading her arms out wide, Sheeban gave a devious smirk as she flexed her right bicep and gave it a great smack. "Gaze upon my body and WEEP!" Shortly after that flex of the bicep she began showing off her other muscles through showboating flexing. "BEHOLD THE CRAFTSMANSHIP, MY BODY IS LIKE A CASTLE! A BRICK SHITHOUSE THAT CRAPS ALL OVER YOUR TINY AND MINUSCULE ATTEMPTS TO FEEL BIG; BECAUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY SISTER, I AM THE BIG WOMAN ON THE CAMPUS AND I STOMP OUT ALL PITIFUL WEAKLINGS THAT COME INTO MY JUNGLE!"

Snarling Sheeban gave a cockeyed glance towards the crystal, "And I don't need any foreign baubles..." Of course she did value the well hidden lead pipe and barbed baseball bat, it made the folks at home even angrier at her dominance over their heroes, "...To whip each and any one of you."

Raddik
Saiyan
910
Day 1, Morning
Registration Booth
None

_____________________________________________________________________________________

Raddik's eye's would open slowly to the continuous rhythmic beeping of his navigation console. The Saiyan warrior would grunt annoyed at his sleep being disturbed. If one were to say the warrior was beyond agitated they would be far from the truth. Truth was he was two seconds from smashing the console, if it wasn't for the fact he would die, he would have done it weeks ago. He wasn't sure at one point his brain wasn't addled enough to do it anyways and risk the consequences. Being out in space for long amounts of time alone would do that to ones mind, either that, or searching every hostile planet within untold miles of untold space. He was sick of this pod, sick of these planets full of weaklings, sick of searching endlessly for someone who was probably dead as it was, and most of all... he was SICK of the damn BEEPING! Raddik raised his fist threateningly in the pod but relented in the end letting it drop back down on the arm rest, instead he reached forward and clicked one of the many buttons.

"Approaching unidentified Planet 4032-877" A voice depicting a soulless machine would softly speak, Raddik would look out of the pod window to see a planet coming into view. It seemed that this was the last planet in this sector where General Oniyon could have landed. The Saiyan would cross his arms as the blue orb mixed with green would come closer, he had about as much hope of finding the General on this planet as he did on the countless others he had searched on. It was supposed to be a simple mission, just another planet to be colonized, go in and take the resistance and clear the planet. No one had seen that comet coming, before any of them knew it, the unit had been destroyed and General Oniyon was sent spiraling in one direction and Raddik was tossed in the other. He had spent days on some distant planet trying to repair the damage caused to his ship in the incident. An than the next many tracking General Onyion's trajectory. If he failed to find the General or at least his body than he could not return to Planet Vegeta.

Abandoning ones General is cowardice and his return would be marked in shame, his pride destroyed. There was no choice in the matter for Raddik, he would continue his search no matter the risk of how long it would take. His pod would turn a dark shade of red as it entered the atmosphere of the mysterious planet, he would feel the heat radiating against the ship as he plummeted towards the ground to what he did not know.

There was a loud *hiss* as the door to the small Saiyan pod opened forward within the huge crater the impact had been. Raddik would pick up the scouter and place it over his eye and ear as he placed a firm hand on the outside of the pod and pulled himself forth effortlessly as his feet hit the soft dirt. `Hmm` Raddik looked around idly, it was quiet here, almost peaceful, with a small push he would leave the ground and levitate into the air. Moving forward he would set back down on the edge of the crater as he surveyed his surroundings. He seemed to be in an empty field, in the distance he spotted some smaller pink creatures shambling about, uninterested in his arrival. *Honk* He would turn his head to the sound of a loud shrill noise, a small red vehicle would come to a screeching stop feet away from him as a man hopped out of it, weapon in hand.

Raising his hand he would click the button on the side of his scouter, and outline would envelope the new arrival and a display would quickly appear:

Unidentified Life form
Power Level: 1
Threat Level: Minimal

"Who are you stranga!? Identify yurself!" Raddik would find himself grunting again as he lowered his hand. It seemed that this planet did not possess very high leveled beings. He did not have the time nor the patients to deal with such a weakling. Taking a step forward the man would raise his weapon towards him. "You stop right dere stranga!" *Whack* Without any warning the gun would fly out of eyesight as Raddik's tail slapped it from the mans hands before wrapping around his waist once more. Disarmed the man would quickly stumble backwards over his own feet and fall on his butt backing away from the Saiyan. Taking a step forward Raddik covered the distance and reached down grabbing the man lifting him effortlessly into the air letting his feet dangle beneath him. Lifting his free hand he snapped his wrist as he stuck out his pointer finger, a deep purple glow would form at its tip. *Beep* Raddik would draw his attention to his scouter as it automatically lite up.

He released his grip on the man as he slapped the ground butt first and quickly crawled away on his knee's in a panic.

Several Lifeforms twenty miles South East
Power Levels Varied
Threat: Moderate

~Thats more like it~ he thought to himself, maybe this planet had some entertainment to offer if he was going to be forced to suffer it anyways. Clicking his scouter back off he turned his attention back to the man from before whom was climbing into his vehicle. Raddik would scoff as he went forward and with a solid kick the vehicle lifted from the ground and flew violently and quickly as it crashed into the ground a distance away with a small explosion. "Pitiful creature." Raddik spat the words out bemused as he levitated into the air and sped off south east.

Raddiks feet would touch down gracefully on the cold hard ground as a slew of the inhabitants of this planet would suddenly have their eye's trained on him. "Yo! Did you see that man!? He just came flying in!" There was a large bottle of whispers and talk among the various inhabitants before him, they all pointed at him. Raddik's lip would go up at the edge as these... creatures kept pointing at him and whispering to each other, his ire was quickly rising as he closed his fist, his fingers cracking along with his joints. When he felt a solid slap right across his butt, Raddik would turn in pure anger, intending to destroy his assaulter, but his eye's would suddenly fall on what appeared to be a young woman. "Wow, aren't you a muscular one, you must be here for the martial arts tournament right? How bout we forget the tournament and you come home with me muscle man?"

Raddik's eye would twitch slightly as a small bit of red went into his cheeks as the woman gave him a wink and giggled before walking away. Feeling his agitation slowly start to dissipate, the ones around him would return to talking and laughing, his presence no longer of interest. Martial Arts Tournament? So this was why there seemed to be such varied power levels here, it was a fighting competition. Raddik could hardly ignore the boiling blood inside at the prospect of fighting, his lust for battle quickly overtook his disgust of these weak creatures. Perhaps he could partake in this tournament if only to stretch his muscles, maybe see if there was any worthwhile fighters on this planet. He would find himself making for what appeared to be the registration booth, why not? If he had to suffer this planet he might as well have some fun.

Character Name: Grisha
Race: Saiyan
PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning
Location: Registration
Tagging: Open, Lena and Tobias (NPCs)

Seated at one of the open BBQs was a blonde man with a cream-colored tunic and charcoal-black trousers. His winter coat was folded over the lawn chair he was seated comfortably in. With a leg crossed over his other leg, he had been comfortably reading a book when he glanced up from it, hearing the panic that was happening across the parking lot. His blonde brows sank over his blue eyes when he saw a giant lummox and his daughter running about. Grisha had red grill lines on his face and his headdress was on fire, and he and Lena were darting about trying to put it out.

I thought I smelled burnt idiot, he thought, resting his head in his hand. He watched Grisha hold his burning crown out to Lena who snatched the nearest glass of what she thought was water from a stranger. What she hadn’t realized was the glass she had grabbed had been a martini glass. The alcohol leapt onto the flames and the blaze flared with excitement. “Ugh,” Tobias groaned. He felt the sympathy pains attacking his heart. His hand went to hide his face as he felt humiliated for them.

Grisha’s eyes bulged when he saw the fire roar even bigger. Lena screamed, “Ah! Put it out quick!”

Dropping it upon the ground, Grisha raised his foot with a frown. Lena then realized something in that moment. This was not a good idea. “No Grisha! Wait!”

When his boot came down, the entire parking lot shook. RVs, grills, lawn chairs, and people in the immediate vicinity were thrown into the air by the sudden upheaval that passed through the pavement, cracking it into chips. Tobias and Lena both had been thrown into the air. Grisha pulled his foot out of the three-foot deep crater (which wasn’t nearly as deep as he was capable of making) and saw only a dark serpent of smoke leaving the extinguished headpiece. The giant then thrust out his arm to catch Lena before she struck the asphalt and held her in his hands.

“Look! Fire out!” he told her.

Lena had a distant look on her face as she was still trying to recover from the shock of what just happened. Her blonde hair was scattered all over her head and she was staring dazed at the Saiyan. Grisha blinked and stared back, the two having a stare off until she finally blinked. Her face then flushed red in anger and Grisha extended his arms, holding her away from himself like a wet cat.

“Grisha! You could have killed everyone!” she exclaimed.

Grisha frowned sadly. “No kill. Grisha not killer.”

She saw how she had upset him and sighed. “You should watch your strength Grisha or someone may get hurt, okay?”

“Yeah! Like me you Meathead!” Tobias exclaimed. No one had saved him from falling on the ground!

Grisha gave one look at Tobias and arched his lip in disgust. He set Lena down and then reached into the hole to remove his crown. It was burnt black. The bones were fine but it would need some new fur. Lena held her hands out to take it from him as she reassured him, “I’ll hold onto it okay, so it doesn’t get messed up.”

“Okay,” Grisha replied.

“So when are we going to sign him up? We didn’t travel thousands of miles here to play around in a parking lot. We came here to win some zeni!” Tobias shouted in frustration.

“We’ll go do that now Dad, chill,” Lena answered.

“Chill!” Grisha repeated.

As Grisha and Lena turned, Tobias scowled at the giant’s back. I can’t wait to see someone stomp your face in.

As they went to stand in line, all three of their mouths’ dropped at the length of it. Immediately Tobias complained, “See? This is what happens when you wait too long!”

Lena huffed, her head and arms dropping. “I can’t even see the end of it.”

Grisha suddenly reached down and picked her up. The blonde girl squeaked as she was placed on his shoulders. Resting her hands on his head, her eyes widened in amazement at how high she was. This was what Grisha saw. She grinned down at him and laughed in excitement. “Wow Grisha. You really are tall.”

Grisha grinned proudly and boasted, “Grisha biggest!”

Lena raised a hand to her brow and peered down the line. “There’s a lot of tough looking fighters.”

Grisha’s nostrils flared as he snorted like a bull, steam leaving them. “Grisha tougher. Grisha strongest.”

“Of course you are. That’s why we’re entering you in the tournament. You better beat them Grisha!”

Grisha’s grin twisted wickedly. His hands rose and when his fist slammed into his palm, there was a small shockwave that made a few heads turn. Some of the fighters before him gazed back at Grisha and their mouths dropped.

“I may hafta’ fight that guy? Oh hell~ no,” one fighter said before he fled the line. Suddenly, the line became ten fighters shorter.

Tobias blinked as he watched the fighters briskly leave. “Hey that just made the line shorter. Tell him to do it some more.”

Lena grinned and she peered down at Grisha. “Okay Grisha set me down.”

Grisha grasped Lena beneath her arms and gently set her down. He then crouched to her level, gazing at her curiously.

“Okay Grisha. You need to act as big and scary as you can. You scared those guys back there. We want the line to get shorter. The less scaredy cats are in your way, then the easier you’ll be able to win the prize. So come on. Be scary!”

Grisha raised his hands like claws and grinned viciously, “Scary!”

“Yeah. Like a monster. Scare them. Let them know you’re the strongest there is!”

Grisha’s hands clenched into massive fists and the dust, pebbles, and loose debris upon the floor started to rise about him. Lena glanced about at the levitating debris with excitement and awe until Tobias ran over and grasped her arm. “You got him excited now!” he warned. He quickly ran a safe distance away with her.

Grisha roared as his power level started to rise. It felt like an earthquake was shaking the vicinity. Raising his fists into the air, his eyes disappeared in a white blaze as he unleashed a scream that resonated throughout the vicinity.

The concrete beneath the feet of those in line cracked in a wide 50 meter circle with multiple inner rings. Immediately after, Grisha’s power level subsided and he lowered his arms to stare menacingly at all the puny fighters who were gawking his way. Some had fallen over, shaken by the overpowering presence they felt. Others were too terrified to move.

“Eee!” one fighter shrieked before he clawed to his feet. “I’m not ready for this! I don’t know what I was thinking!”

The line started to dramatically shorten as the peons fled. Lena and Tobias walked back over to the giant, amazed at how many competitors were leaving. With an excited giggle, she ran and jumped into Grisha’s arms. “Yeah! Go Grisha! I knew you could do it!” she cheered.

Grisha grinned and gave her a gentle hug. Tobias arched a brow. “I didn’t ever once doubt that being scary would ever be difficult for him. Now let’s hurry.”

Grisha set Lena down and she happily waved him on. “Come on! Let’s get you signed up!”

Character Name:Hiko Kyoryu
Race:Pteradactyl
PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning
Location: Fighter Waiting Room
Tagging: @double @lauder @williwaw @commandercool

The registration process was simpler than Hiko had expected. He assumed they would be more discriminatory in who could enter the Tenkaichi Budokai. As Hiko looked around he noticed that many of the participants did not have the appearance of skilled warriors or fighters. But he figured the tournament officials probably had their own methods of whittling away those who don’t deserve to participate in the fights. Besides, most people likely wouldn’t look at a pteranodon and expect him to be a trained martial artist.

Rather than stand around and judge his fellow competitors, Hiko decided to take some time to clear his mind before the tournament properly began. Off in a corner of the waiting room he noticed another fighter had the same idea as Hiko and was deep in meditation. He was a shorter man in common martial artist attire who’s head was shaved bald. Hiko recognized his training uniform but couldn’t quite place where he’d seen it before. But the appearance of this young man reminded the pteranodon of many of the monks at Tsubasa temple, probably most the cleanly shaven head.

As Hiko settled down in the most secluded part of the waiting room he could find, he took another look around to take stock of the other fighters. He noticed a very pale girl with auburn hair and black clothing, she was talking to a much more brightly dressed woman reminded Hiko of a witch from some of the story books he read as a child. Hiko’s attention was quickly snapped away from the pair of women when another, much larger woman caught his attention. This lady was by far the largest woman in the room. Heck, she was the largest woman Hiko had ever seen. While she wasn’t particularly tall, she was even stockier than Hiko was. Looking at her, Hiko could tell he probably wouldn’t fare well in a grappling match against her.

A bit embarrassed to notice this, Hiko also found her to be quite beautiful. She had a far more elegant loveliness to her than the few plain girls Hiko had known in the village beside his temple. It was something Hiko had come to struggle with since he left Tsubasa temple. As a monk he was sworn to a life of celibacy, and all of the promiscuously dressed and lovely women in the city had made this vow difficult for him to uphold.

The stout giantess began causing an uproar, boasting about how pathetic all the other fighters in the room were compared to her and how she was going to “whoop some ass.” This irritated Hiko, and made him forget her beauty. He couldn’t believe someone could be so arrogant. In the back of his mind Hiko hoped he would find himself in combat against this boisterous braggart. If solely to teach her some humility.

Hiko decided to just ignore the woman for now and take this time to start meditating. Getting himself into a comfortable position, he closed his eyes and began reciting the ancient Tsubasan hymns he’d been practicing since childhood. But the anticipation for the upcoming tournament lingered around in the recesses of his mind. Hiko could not deny that he was excited and anxious to fight some worthy opponents.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

A vein of sizable portions was growing comically into Raddik's head as he stood in line with his arms crossed and his eye's closed tightly. His desires to join this competition were slowly being dashed away by his growing impatience. It wasn't the line, no he could handle the line, no it was that every single one of these creatures were gloating and flexing their muscles. Back on Planet Vegeta if one acted like this, and especially if that one is weak, than they would get a painful lesson in humility. Although in the back of his mind it wasn't annoying him that they were high on themselves, in fact it was amusing in small ways. No... it was that it reminded him that his own race did the same thing, often time for his benefit to know that he was nothing but a lowly foot soldier. On a good day he could slip by in the background without being bothered, but good days were far and in between, most days he had to suffer the Elites and their mocking him. As much as he desired to be back on Planet Vegeta, at the same time he was relenting over the fact that being away from home was by far a more pleasant experience. He did what he wanted wherever he wanted and most planets had little to no resistance to stop him. But this planet... was different so far from the others.

He didn't know what it was, but in the short time he had spent here already, this was unlike any planet he had ever been too. These creatures... were different, they had almost a naivety about them. They were incredibly weak but... he didn't know... he guessed that they were just not as annoying as other creatures he had come across. No it was the peacefulness of this planet, yeah he was pretty sure that was it, those first steps out of his ship had offered him a calmness he had never before felt. He grunted, annoyed at the conflicting nature of his thoughts, at the end of the day this was just another planet full of weaklings to be conquered by the strong, nothing more and nothing less. So trying to figure out what made this place apart from others were just useless thinking, when this tournament was over and he had his fun he would continue his original mission and destroy whomever stood in his way. His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sudden surge of energy, there was an unmistakable energy in the air. There was a sudden panic in the air from the creatures around him as tiny pieces of rock would lift themselves from the ground, the power scream that followed the mini quake in the ground drew Raddik's full attention.

"It couldn't be..." Raddik spoke the words lowly to himself as he uncrossed his arms almost symbolically at his interest in the quaking that would eventually simmer down. There was almost a.. well a comical response as he watched many a fighter leave the line in quick succession, the fear evident in their eye's. The Saiyan warrior on the other hand felt an edge of excitement, no more a thrill as he felt the surge of energy. If there was such an energy on this planet, that he had to fight it, to be it. As the fighters would disperse, mainly the ones who were the size of mountains Raddik's eye's would drop as his jaw went a little slack. Among the fleeing weaklings he would take notice of the one who was walking past them, a tall individual with black hair, jutting muscles, and even more so a tail... no way, it was General Oniyon. Raddik was almost in a state of shock, but it was being outweighed by his overwhelming confusion. He was sure that was Oniyon but he wasn't dressed like a Saiyan, in fact he was dressed like an idiot, not to mention he seemed to be with two of these weaker creatures one of which appeared were leading him. There was no mistaking it though, that tail was biggest dead giveaway, that was the long lost General he had been scouring the universe for.

"General? What the hell are you doing? Why are you dressed like an idiot and traveling with these weak creatures? Have you no pride!?" Raddik was blocking their path now, his face was twisted in agitation. His last words came out as more of a hiss, he didn't understand what was going on here. His own ire was irked, how long had he been looking for the General? Planet after planet, fight after fight, hour after hour, and the General has been on this lowly backwater world playing with these weaklings!? Raddik's power surged uncontrollably for a moment at his anger as the ground spider webbed beneath his feet. His fists were clenched at the sight of a once decorated General being discovered in such a pitiful and pathetic state. This is why he couldn't return home? `Grrr` Raddik growled as he tail unraveled from his waist and flicked around him angrily. "Answer me you pitiful excuse of life!" Whatever respect he had for Oniyon was quickly disappearing into oblivion very much like the ground that cracked more in the Generals direction.

As Lena happily ran toward the booth as the fighters briskly strode by her, she saw one standing in their path. He looked angry, and he looked similar to Grisha in ethnicity. Lena slowed to a stop and stared at Raddik as he looked passed her as though she were made of glass.

General? What the hell are you doing? Why are you dressed like an idiot and traveling with these weak creatures? Have you no pride!?

She looked back at Grisha who had stepped up behind Lena. He regarded the man blocking their path, and he didn’t seem to realize that he was being addressed.

“Why stop?” Grisha asked Lena curiously.

Lena grasped Grisha’s cape out of concern as she continued to stare at Raddik. “Grisha, I think this man knows you, or he might think you’re someone else.”

Tobias didn’t feel comfortable in the situation. His paternal instinct was telling him to protect his daughter as he walked over to rest his hands upon her shoulders. “This doesn’t feel right.”

When Raddik’s power level spiked, Grisha frowned at him. It wasn’t until Raddik’s tail uncurled from around his waist that Grisha’s brows shot upward. Even Tobias and Lena were surprised. Tobias moaned, “Oh no; not another one.”

Lena blinked. “Is he Grisha’s family?”

Answer me you pitiful excuse of life!

Suddenly, if Raddik hadn’t dodged, he would have got his answer when a pair of strong arms locked about him and raised him off the ground into a…hug. “Little Brother! Little Brother has tail like Grisha!”

Tobias started backing away, dragging Lena with him. “Oh boy…”

Lena glanced up at her father worried and then back at Grisha. “He called Grisha ‘General.’”

“There’s something we don’t know. We never really knew much about Grisha. He came from the sky, and I bet this other monkey did too.”

Character Name: Beryl Bloodstone
Race: Human - Magi
PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning
Location: Fighter Waiting Room
Tagging: @Lauder@Double@Williwaw@Slingshot

In the brief moment she had turned to wave to the short, bald man, the weird girl attempted to steal the crystal while claiming it was dangerous. Just who did she think she was fooling? Beryl pulled her hand back quickly and for a split second, an expression of anger flashed across her face before she regained composure. "The only danger one could be in from possessing this crystal is if they steal it, as that would reverse the effects." The response came quickly and easily as she had came up with a whole list of rules on how her crystals work, or at least how she claims they work.

It was then that the goliath of a woman stomped into the room, the heavy thumps of her massive feet announcing her presence. Beryl hadn't seen her enter the room, which just raised questions for her as she MUST have been too tall to walk in normally as at the very least her hair would catch on the door frame. Before she could snap herself out of this stunned state, the ogress begun to spray something in everyone's direction before berating them all. The strange girl next to her seemed as if she was trying to hide her agitation over the giant's words, but it all felt so familiar, but she couldn't tell what it was. Even stranger yet, it felt as if she had to respond to the monstrous woman in kind.

"You, undignified oaf, would do well to remember that provoking a witch is most unwise." She stepped past the strange girl next to her and pocketed her crystal before she could snatch it from her. "While I aim to help rather than hurt, I can't allow such hatefulness go unpunished, and my blessings can easily be reversed into curses if I so wish." Beryl's legs, seemingly under the control of someone other than her, then took her towards the so called princess. While it was embarrassing to have to look straight up to her face, Beryl didn't let it show. "You should show respect to your future foes, it might just make your impending defeat less embarrassing for you." She then punctuated this with a kind smile as she waited for Sheeban's response, but also tried to figure out why this felt so right for her. Just what was it that made this seem natural for her?

Even stranger yet, another fighter entered the room. A pterodactyl wearing clothes, and while this should have gotten Beryl's attention, he went mostly unnoticed. Beryl was in a different world now, one that wasn't entirely new to her, and she had no time for outside distractions.

Character Name: Sheeban
Race: Human
PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning
Location: Fighter Waiting Room
Tagging: @CommanderCool

With her monologue finished, Sheeban did not pay any further attention to the tiny opponents until the neon clad one stepped up towards her. This one, unlike the one in black, had a certain familiar cadence to her delivery. Chanko knew this one was not from Satan's Castle, but perhaps she hailed from a similar dojo that practiced styles similar to the Path of Satan? Chanko would need to determine whether or not she was familiar with the ways, and if so, whether or not any agents have contacted her with particular details of 'the craft'...

Sheeban let out a loud snort as she lowered her head to gaze down upon the witch; her eyes were piercing down as if it was a magnifying glass upon an ant. Her lips curled into a snarl as her left meaty ham of a hand clenched into a fist, "A Witch - " began Sheeban as she let out a mighty guffaw, a boisterous belly-laugh, "Is only a concern for children and the superstitious. But I..."

Spreading her arms out wide and smirking Sheeban continued in her speech, "Am not a child like you; I am the woman who beats chumps like you in the ring - and no outside powers can save you 'Witch'. And when you step into that ring, you aren't just in a ring. You are in a Dungeon; MY DUNGEON - AND I AM ITS PRINCESS. AND IT IS MY DECREE THAT YOU WILL FALL AND KNEEL!" The seeds were laid out, if she was familiar with certain practices of dojos such as Satan's Castle Beryl would possibly pick up on the details, if not - well Chanko certainly didn't violate any of the practices of her fellow practitioners of Satan's Castle.

"So..." Sheeban said as she rolled her head around and gave out a smirk, "Will you submit now or will I have to twist your little legs until they snap?"

As Sheeban continued her perfectly crafted speech, it finally clicked for Beryl. This wasn't to intimidate her or anyone else in the room as there were far better ways to do that. Clearly, this was something Beryl herself did on a daily basis, which made her feel a little disappointment over not realizing it sooner. This was Sheeban's sales pitch, but it was a mystery as to what she was trying to accomplish.

"If that's so, then that simply means that children and the superstitious are smarter than you are." Beryl then retrieved the crystal she had just put away and held it towards the giantess. "I will never submit to you, but I will do you the favor of not hurting you too much when I win." She then gestured at Sheeban's hulking physique. "Unlike you, I don't need to rely on brute force. I'll have you beat before you even realize it." She then tossed the crystal to Sheeban before continuing. "Hold onto that in case you get matched up against someone else, I'd hate to find out that you lost to someone else." Since Beryl knew that Sheeban was like her, it was safe to assume that she could tell as well, so hopefully she could see the gift, as worthless as it was, as a sign of solidarity between shysters.

With her part done, Beryl then walked out the door and headed towards the tailgate lot in search of chumps willing to buy her cheap crystals or fortunes vague enough to apply to nearly any sort of happening. What she found however, was something sure to hurt her sales. A pair of strangely dressed loonies were causing a scene. The larger of the two was dressed in a similar manner to the backwards hicks in her past that she was so desperate to escape and had lifted the smaller one, who was wearing a strange vest, off the ground. But stranger than their clothes was the tail on the small one, which apparently was a trait shared with the larger one based on his words. "What on Earth is this?"

Noticing the young woman and old man nearby, she figured if anyone knew what was going on, it would be them. "Ah, excuse me, I am but a wandering witch seeking to help those in need. Is everything alright here?" Whatever it was, Beryl knew it needed to stop now, she could already feel these hijinks cutting into her potential profits and such an evil must never be allowed to happen. She just hoped that if they did ask for help, they would offer to pay for it. It hurt her enough already to give away a crystal for free.

There was no need to continue the battle of speeches, as for one thing Beryl was already leaving the vicinity. Another reason was they already had established themselves, Chanko Mono knew her role as the aggressor, the monster and the Witch clearly was set up as a protagonist force. Apart from that Beryl gave Chanko a red crystal; the fighter knew that exchanging tokens tended to be a sign of knowing of the business. It was something small that wouldn't draw attention to outsiders, but something that was prominent enough to signify that she too practiced the entertaining method of sports, such as Satan's Castle. Chanko tossed the crystal up and down for a few moments before she opened her locker and placed it among her belongings.

This gift would be recognized and kept to mark another who knew those ways of combat.

Slamming it shut her attention was now able to go onto the new-comer of these halls.

Sheeban began stomping over to another individual who garnered her attention. Chanko had no idea what any agent might've said to the winged-dinosaur man, but something was up with this individual. He wasn't acting like how bigger talent was expected to act. The meek display was usually reserved for tinier fellows rather than those who could be large and in charge. Chanko knew that this individual needed some help, in only a way Sheeban could give of course. After all the rest of these individuals were outsiders to the finer practices of the dojos.

Trudging along with loud and mighty steps Sheeban approached Hiko and began to prod him over and over against his side for a solid few seconds.

"Sssnruuuck." snorted out Sheeban as she peered towards the pterodactyl, "Yo! Stop being white around the gills - what do you think you are doing being meek? That is for the tiny fodder, like the other pitiful worms around you! You are big ACT big!" Chanko noted as, after all, this large individual was surely not meant for a method like this. He was probably new to teachings of the dojo and got tricked by some agent, as some of the older members of the orders liked to do to younger talent.

"NOW GIVE ME A WAR-CRY!" hollered out Sheeban as she thrust her arms up, slightly, to the ceiling as she snorted towards Hiko, "Or can you only whimper like a lowly pup?"

A gasp of air would leave his mouth as the unexpected attack enveloped him and Raddik found his feet leaving the ground, Oniyon or Grisha as these creatures referred to him as would wrap his arms around him squeezing as if for dear life. Only it wasn't an attack, that became clear when Grisha referred to him as `little brother` in a child like manner. The way he spoke was almost primitive and did not sound like the Saiyan he had known from before. It was as if he had become a moron as opposed to a General of the Saiyan Army. What the hell had happened to Oniyon to make him this way? Raddik would grunt through gritted teeth as he sent Ki flowing into his muscles, moron or not, whoever the hell he was now, had maintained that unrealistic strength Oniyon was known for. Let.. me go you.. idiot!" Raddik would yell the remark as the ground beneath them would shatter apart as he powered himself up. The area would shake slightly like it had before when Grisha had powered up.

Raddik would scream ferociously as his muscles bulged within Grisha's grip, he was struggling harder now as Grisha didn't even seem to notice. The area was now shaking harder as Raddik's face reddened out of pure frustration, "Damn you!!!!". Raddik would drive his head forward out of frustration as his forehead meant with Grisha's, onlookers would all cringe against their wills as the resounding was enough to give some of them phantom brain damage. Raddik expected a lot of things to happen after that, he expected Grisha to loosen his grip, or expected him to reel back in pain so he could free himself anything. However what he wasn't expecting was a

Raddik felt his brain slosh into the back of his skull as it screamed for mercy while he flew from Grisha's grip and was rag dolled several feet away before slamming the ground back first sliding across the stone. Every single onlooker around them had eyes like white plates as they comically looked back and forth between Grisha and Raddik. It wasn't until Raddik flipped to his feet in a perpetual rage and saw his tail slap the ground so hard it broke the stone to the dirt beneath that the majority of them quickly opted out of the situation entirely. It seemed like he was going to charge Grisha and fight him but instead he grabbed his head instead with both hands as he staggered a bit cursing: "What the hell is your head made of!?!? Damn it all!" Raddik leaned into a nearby wall as he slammed his fist into it every time his head pulsed with pain.

Character Name: Kin Zoku
Race: Human - Mutant
PL: 910
Time/Date: Day 1, Morning
Location: Fighter Waiting Area and Locker Room
Tagging: @Lauder @Double @Williwaw @Slingshot @CommanderCool

Kin felt good after registering for the tournament and he double checked to make sure that his cloak was nice and clean to make a good first impression before the fights began. He made sure to tell the staff of the tournament to be announced under his alias Magnetar so that if his parents decided to watch or hear about the tournament then he wouldn't be found out and have to explain his mutant abilities. His excitement was rising as he thought of being able to use his powers to win a tournament. He had dreamed of being able to compete in the World Martial Arts Tournament since he was a little and now thanks to his mutant abilities he could actually have a shot at winning the contest.

He still however would have to find someway to explain the massive money prize for winning the entire contest, but he would figure that out later. With his robes and cloak on he was confident that no one back home would recognize him especially while wearing goggles similar to the ones worn by skiers. He decided to head to the waiting room while the tournament was still getting ready and once there Kin saw that there were several other fighters already there. The first one that he noticed was the big muscular woman making a lot of noise and then he also spotted a pterodactyl looking humanoid. Finally he noticed the other human fighters as well as one that gave him a feeling that she wasn't exactly human, and this made him wonder what the competition would be like for the tournament.

The big muscular woman gave an arrogant monologue about her superiority over her opponents that Kin found amusing, but it appeared to tick off another female fighter who looked she was dressed up as a witch for Halloween. Kin became curious when he heard her claim to be a witch. So there were users of magic here, he had heard stories of people who could use the arcane arts, but he had never seen it done and was somewhat skeptical of the whole thing, but this fighter was claiming to be one. The so-called witch's speech didn't seem to intimidate the giant woman and she on another monologue about how she would crush the witch and Kin just had to shake his head and chuckle at the woman's loud and cocky words.

Some more words were exchanged between the two women and then he saw the witch tossed a crystal at Sheeban and the boastful fighter caught it. He then watched Beryl walk off out of the waiting room. He crossed his arms as SHeeban then walked over to Hiko and began prodding him. This woman sure loved to try and provoke people, Kin was sure that it was some type of mind game to get in an opponent's head, he had watched enough martial arts movie to recognize this tactic.

"This tournament looks like it should be fun" he said to himself with a smile. He also was thinking about how he would have to utilize his two techniques since his third technique wasn't allowed due to the ban on weapons. He would have to be smart with his two techniques and be careful during his battle.
