Demon King Station: Avalon
It was yet another cycle of rotation upon the Demon King class orbital terraforming-station. With graduates of the on-base mecha academy departing to help protect fledgeling operations along the outer frontiers, while new recruits came in for their introductory training with the senior student body before being sent to assist the graduates in the field.

Felicia Kuntz was one of those senior students, even though she hardly looked the part in her mecha, she actually managed to survive her first cycle with a fair amount of distinction alongside her classmates. So it was hardly any shock or surprise that she and Eileen would be tasked with helping the new arrivals adjust to living on the station and working together on assignments together on behalf of their fellow human headmaster: Doctor Rei Osborne.

Over in the mess-hall, she'd stalked Miss Nulla [the harpy] to congradulate her on the good news [via pouncing], and to wish her luck in leading their newer members. This was probably the last time she'd get to toy around with her fellow classmates for some time, since she was sure the first thing Eileen and Caellys would do with their team is post a guard-detail around themselves [and their food, seriously, where does all that food even go?].

"Be careful with that one Ray."

"I will. Thanks!"

Ray, Laboratory Assistant

[Hallway G - Level 32]
Ray had just slipped out of the messhall. The girl wore a smile on her face, but it was a forced smile. She was carrying a tray of a bowl of nutrient paste and a mug of scalding hot tea. Last time, well this morning, she got to the stairwell and fell, putting her uniform in the laundry with the rest of them. She was technically out of uniform with her blossom pink oversized sweater and felt skirt, but she loved this outfit. Dr. Osborne printed it special for her birthday, and while it looked like it was made of wool, it was waterproof, along with her socks and shoes. It made her feel, pretty.

She was lost in thought and almost tripped on essentially nothing, closing her eyes tight she held out her jelly like arms to keep the tray straight. The bowl of grey green gruel seemed to roll for a bit. "Don't fall, don't fall..." It didn't and she breathed a sigh of relief. She smiled, constantly looking down at her hands. She needed to stay cohesive, just like the doctor taught her.

She even ignored the various "Hi Ray." "Morning Ray." She would nod and occasionally move her head to pay attention with a big friendly greeting but then she'd feel the tray shift and she'd be right back into it, focusing on the tray like it was an exam question.

Steady, steady. A half hour later she got to her destination, the lab.

"Increaze zee nutrient paze py nine bercent und zee grovth hormone py tvo, und decreaze zee zaline eleffen bercent."

The heavy thick accent rung out into the room almost like- well exactly like a speaker system, giving verbal orders through the machine. Doctor Rei Osborne was in his command console, the brain in his jar surrounded by all these holo monitors that showed the contents of overly large test tubes, each one containing a creature that at first glance would be nightmarish, but on closer inspection was just a baby, a little girl waiting to be born. Save one, Doctor Osborne has been trying to test the latest recovered gene samples on a male, he showed the hair of a beastman sub species even in his prenatal age, but the Doctor was monitoring his vitals most of all. Only two percent of the station was fertile males and even then, their DNA was lacking the C, and D, immunities and were carries of two potentially fatal genetic factors. Doctor Osborne sent a military operation to retrieve this male sample and if this child died than-

No, too many pilots died for that. This child must live.

"Doctor. Lunch!" Said Ray cheerily, presenting the outstretched tray.

"Von minute, von minute." Said the Doctor, it sounded like he was scolding her, but it was just how harsh his voice was through the speaker box on his apparatus.

Ray was used to it by now and instead set the tray aside and went through the effort of unscrewing the top of the doctors suspension gel tank. The doctor's 'eating' was more akin to Ray using a spoon to scrap globs of nutrient paste into a dispenser that looked more akin to a gas tank nozzle. A few moments of detoxification and sterilization, and the goo would disperse into the bio gel that the doctor's brain was currently in. She did the same with the tea, just pouring it in sips. "Yeah zat kood. Mmm zauzage proth totay. Danke zer."

Ray beamed. "Bitte. Oh, I think today might be when we receive the new class. You have to make time for their orientation, medical examinations, and piloting evaluation." She was so proud of herself, she actually remembered the scheduler from this morning.

"Kids zeze days. Zey zink zey pring in ein pig ropot und can ko running off to zaffe zee vorld. I vonter if zey'll pe chust as ill pehaffed as zee last patch."

Ray tittered. "They were fun though. I miss Samantha. She transferred to Terras Secundus right?"

Rei considered with some cold empathy. "Lozing ein leg like zat, brobably pest you don't take mizions for ein vile."

Ray didn't seem discouraged. "I guess you're right. She always wanted to be somewhere to raise a kid anyway."

Their conversations were interrupted when suddenly there was a bing of red as one of the little table graphs on one of the screens went lower. "Dammit! Roxanne! Zat filder coil is acting up akain! Lock it dovn! Zen, ko vith Ray und make zure zee new class is in Opzerffazion Room Von of Hanger Ein at eleffen hundred scharp! Dumme Basis fällt auseinander..." And with that, there was a roil of tentacles that came to life, all of them hitting switches and changing over heavy expesnive looking instruments or hitting dozens of buttons at once.

Ray in the meantime had a little office in the corner, decorated with her little dolls, flower pots, toys, and puppy pictures that say motivational words. She typed a few words on the computer and looked through the papers, leaving bits of her green wet slime on whatever she touched. "New class information, where did I leave it?"

Jenny wasn't used to such a confined space, normally she wasn't able to fit into the buildings used by other people so this was a large facility to be sure. The area she like the most was the hanger bay, it being by far the largest room she'd been in since her arrival on the ship, some of the mecha exceeding even her own height which was something she welcomed, being the biggest thing around was often very bothersome. But! She couldn't stay in the hanger forever, she was getting hungry and need to get some food from the mess hall, which she wasn't sure how well she'd fit into but all the hallways were big enough for her at least if she crouched a teeny tiny bit.

Jenny slowly made her way down the halls being very careful not to stop on anybody. "S-sorry! E-excuse me!" She could easily just walk over the top of people but she preferred to avoid doing that. Because on the off chance the ship rocked or she slipped? That's someone possibly dead.

After finally making it to the mess hall door she crouched down and sat in front of the door. She didn't want to just barge in and felt like it'd be a tight squeeze for her to get in anyway, so she opted to knock on the door, she used her index finger instead of her entire hand as she'd come to not trust the integrity of any doors. She'd but her hand through far too many at this point.

A.L.M.A. Unit "Roxanne"

'Nutrient paste increased nine percent. Growth hormone increased two percent. Saline decreased eleven percent.'

The announcements, emitted from separate speakers with a far smoother artificial output than Doctor Osborne's, were mere formalities, for each process was initiated almost before the doctor had finished requesting them. Within the mainframe, Roxanne's mind was at its broadest in one sense, and its narrowest in another - each machine, each switch, every electrical spark within the laboratory, moved and flipped and empowered at Roxanne's command, and yet the vast majority of the devices within lacked advanced sensors of any sort. Some visual sensors showed when Doctor Osborne was taking the reins - a new expression for her, since she'd only truly figured out metaphors some weeks ago - but otherwise, she'd feel nothing physical even if the entire laboratory exploded with her mind trapped in it.

Not that she couldn't take another body and leave whenever she felt like it. However, she didn't feel like it. Managing the procedures the doctor needed help with was, for want of a better word, stimulating for her, in a way that simply working on just the one task in a more humanoid form couldn't hope to be. Losing focus wasn't an issue, tiring out wasn't an issue, and so keeping an entire laboratory of vat-grown humans in check was a task that yielded a unique sort of pleasure for her. "Her". A strange way to think of herself given her technical lack of physical sex, but every other being around aside from Doctor Osborne was female, and even the doctor himself lacked the majority of his body, including the genitalia necessary to reproduce with.

That said, whilst she couldn't lose focus, she'd developed a habit of waiting for orders, something the doctor had been trying to break her of for a long time. Thus, it wasn't until he told her to lock down the faulty filter coil- one that had been noticed and ignored for several minutes now, since it wasn't a major enough fault to ping any systems until several seconds before- that she took action in that regard, first limiting its output, then isolating it from the rest of the system, and lastly turning it off entirely, announcing each step accordingly. Internal devices would shortly disgorge the coil for replacement, at which point the circuit could be reintroduced to the system to resume normal functionality.

However, she wouldn't be around for it. She had to introduce the new students to the school alongside Ray, which would leave the automated system behind to do any further work for her. Competent enough, certainly, for an unintelligent device, but any and all changes to the proceeding work would need to be enacted by Doctor Osborne - not that he couldn't do so, as he was already beginning to show. With the doctor handling the matter accordingly, Roxanne focused, and absconded from her faceless form.

And opened her eyes, blinking and twitching slightly as the sensors and servos of her base humanoid chassis adjusted to account for current working conditions. Once recalibration was completed and all potential issues were ruled out, Roxanne stepped out of her storage container, examining the laboratory's systems for any obvious issues- none found, as she had been well aware just before exiting it- as she walked over to Ray's office. The slime girl was having trouble finding the information she needed - "Where did she leave the information about new classes?"

Grabbing a sheath of loose papers without any fresh slime on them, Roxanne quickly filed through the stack, each page's content scanned immediately as the previous one went to the back of the pile, until every page had been processed, and all but two were neatly tapped into a perfect rectangle and placed upon Ray's desk. The last two, with the information about the new classes on both sides of each sheet, were handed to the slimegirl.

'Here is the information you require,' Roxanne politely informed Ray. Where the speakers of her mainframe form were just that, the systems behind her voice modulation in humanoid states were far more complex, allowing for much more natural-sounding speech. One could hardly tell the vocal cords generating the noise were made of biometallic steel. 'We must proceed to the mess hall now. We do not want to be late.'

Murmuring softly as she rubbed her drowsy eyes, Eileen stepped to the massive Lao-Shan Lung girl's side, her wings contracted onto her back as best they could to avoid becoming an obstacle.

"I'll open the door for you." With that, she pressed a button on the wall to the side, causing the hatch to rise and make way for both the small and large dragons. Eileen did not look back when she stepped inside and spoke next. "Come. You don't want to start the day on an empty stomach."

"Oh! Thank you Roxanne!" The girl beamed, her 'hair' seemingly to wiggle a little bit when she smiled widely. Roxanne was a great friend ever since the Doctor turned her on. It was nice to have someone that wasn't going to come and go for whatever reason. Despite being not exactly human, Ray had very little difficulty talking to her. "I swear I really need to come up with a filing system." Ray did come up with a system, several times. None of them worked.

She took the papers and adhered them to a data pad so she can flip over the pages and consult the computer, as if that were actually needed with Roxanne standing right next to her. "Right. To the messhall!" She announced with alot more vigor than needed, even posing and pointing.

Out in the hallway, Ray continued her chat. "I saw your, umm what was it called? Pleasure suit? Or something, anyway it looks really cute! We should go to Level 18 when we get the chance! Girls night out!" she cheered again. Level 15-20 was considered the Leisure decks, with all of the shops, restaurants, VR chambers, and other necessary modes of distractions. "I saved my credits, and I think you'd look super adorable in something frilly." Ray's constant jabbering was almost none stop til they got to the mess hall.

The giant woman really caught their attention just as she slipped into the messhall. Ray seemed in all. "Oh my shes a tall one."

It wasn't Roxanne's place to debate the nature of any filing systems Ray came up with. However, she did say 'You are welcome, Ray,' once she'd finished that statement. She'd established that other beings did indeed say that in response when thanked, though contrariwise, most did not pose in an exaggerated manner when announcing where they were headed, so Roxanne didn't either.

A lot of people might have been a bit embarrassed or put off by Ray's lack of filter. The chassis she mentioned was technically intended for "pleasure and leisure", though its design was intended as a means to acquire and store sexual fluids, as well as to deposit them for the purposes of testing impregnation of monstergirls with human children. So far, the testing on that front had been somewhat inviable, but for the purposes of interacting with other monstergirls in any sense beyond academy business, the chassis was entirely functional. Of course, lacking the same taboos about sexual discussion as a human or monstergirl might, Roxanne simply nodded along with Ray's rambling, uttering 'A new set of clothing might be nice' as somewhat of a platitude when she mentioned frilly outfits. Not that her specific clothing mattered much to her.

And then they encountered Jenny. As always, Ray was stunned by the size of the girl as if for the first time. Twenty meters tall, with substantial mass to accompany that height, and forever forced to wander through the halls of the academy at a slight crouch, at best. Perhaps she would be better suited to a non-enclosed environment, given that even the academy's holdings left her in a somewhat problematic situation.

Nonetheless, Roxanne walked past her, dispassionately uttering 'Greetings, Jenny. How are you feeling today? If you need help moving through the doorway, please ask.' It might have come over as a tad rude just for the tone, but the first two statements were intended to be smalltalk of the sort others might engage in, and the latter was entirely sincere. Roxanne wasn't designed to be insincere, or at least hadn't encountered insincerity enough to suggest that it was something a large number of people engaged in.

'Greetings, Eileen. How are you feeling today?' To the Valstrax, the same greeting in the same tone that the Lao-Shan Lung had received. It was a very suitable way of saying hello to people, Roxanne believed, conveying all the necessary concern for others one might need to to show one was interested in their emotions. That, she'd found, was something a lot of people saw a lot of value in.

Jenny looked over as Eileen spoke up, Jenny smiled as the ROCKET POWERED DRAGON GIRL! winged girl opened the door for her. "Thank you!" Jenny had always had trouble with buttons they were always so small and fragile, though most things were small and fragile... Jenny had to get down on all fours and crawl through the mess hall doors, while they were large doors they were not suited for a creature of her stature, every time she tried to crawl through it she was always afraid of something getting stuck. But before Jenny got a chance to brave the door once again Roxanne and Ray walked past, Ray commented on Jenny's size which didn't make Jenny feel the greatest but she was used to it, then Roxanne asked how Jenny was feeling. "Still a little n-nervous heh. Heh..."

Though Roxanne's offer to help her through the door made Jenny stop for a moment that stupid fucking bitch who the fuck does she think she is! I outa fucking crush her into paste! "I-I-I. I'll be alright! T-thank you for offering!" Jenny's face was now bright pink with embarrassment, she gently squeezed her way through the door being careful not to plant a hand or knee on anything. Honestly the hardest part of squeezing through the door was her hear end, she wasn't one to brag but she knew she was pretty large back there and the big tail didn't make things any easier. Jenny glanced over at Eileen, looking examining her for a second, lucky

After managing to get into the mess hall she stood up as much as she could and made her way up to the very back of the mess hall taking a seat down far away from everyone else. She flinched as her tail pushed a few tables around destroying what used to be a perfectly tidy arrangement of table. "Sorry!"

In one corner of the mess hall, a lone Arachne sat and nibbled away at her chow while everyone else was doing whatever they would. No-one else had decided to sit with her, which was unsurprising since seating oneself anywhere near her vicinity would mean inevitably being involved in or targeted by her usual antics, whether one was in the mood or otherwise. Boredom was all that kept the Arachne company...

Come to think of it, Cahreli Neseta wasn't even all that hungry any more. She'd already flogged most of the food items that caught her eye from other people's plates while they weren't watching. And of course her eyes were bigger than her stomach, so she'd probably wind up stockpiling a lot of what she'd picked up for when her appetite would return to her in the weirdest of times. Either that, or it'd go completely to waste, at which point she'd have to throw it out. In any case, Cahreli continued to nibble away at her chow until suddenly...

CRASH!

BANG!

"...the hell?" Cahreli wondered what all that commotion was about, so she got up off her seat to check it out. It turned out that someone the size of an entire mech had clumsily bowled over most of the tables just to get to the other side of the mess hall. For once, someone else would be held accountable for making a mess in the mess hall... and Cahreli wasn't sure how she felt about that.

Feeling especially brave for someone who could be swatted away just as easily, Cahreli strolled up and confronted the giantess. She considered climbing all the way up to the shoulder, but that may not have been a necessary expenditure of energy. She'd have to see...

"Good grief! If I wanted a mess around here, I'd have made it myself!" Cahreli exclaimed, "The hell's wrong with you?!"

Jenny had her hands over her face hiding her super bright blush when she heard someone yell at her, opening her fingers so she could peek out with one eye. She looked down to see a spider girl was the one yelling at her, specifically asking what was wrong with Jenny. Bitch I'm not the one with a fucking problem! I apologised! It's not my fucking fault all you little shit stains live in a world designed for fucking midgets! "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! M-m-my tail slipped! I'm very very sorry!" Jenny's face again retreated behind her hands and her tail curled around her and rested in her lap, if it was there it couldn't possibly cause more trouble.

Jenny was so embarrassed that she didn't want to move let alone go and get some food. She was lucky that these people had a lot of spare ore and minerals, Jenny could eat normal foods too but she preferred ore just because it meant she'd not drain the stations supply of food.

"Hello, Roxanne," Eileen greeted in return. "I am rather drowsy still, but fine otherwise." Having said her piece, the Valstrax walked to the counter to grab some food. The girl settled on an omelette, with apple slices on the side and a vanilla latte to drink.

Ignoring the scene going on between Jenny and a somewhat high strung spider girl, Eileen sat down at a table by herself and began eating her breakfast. Where some people preferred to eat with others, she just so happened to hold time to herself in high regards, not one to suddenly walk up to someone and say 'Would you like to eat our meals together?' completely out of nowhere. If someone else were to ask the same of her...maybe. It would depend on the individual, among other factors. With the exception of Roxanne, no one else in the room at that moment was someone she could consider herself horribly fond of eating with.

Interactions with @AdmrlStalfos19 using @LemonZest1337 as a soap-box.

In a perfect world, when a person makes an apology after someone else finishes venting their frustrations, someone shows up to provide emotional support for the person feeling most wronged. But this is a school full of free-spirited youngsters, so that doesn't happen.

Instead, after pushing Caellys clear of the giant dragon's unintended tail-whip and the ensuing avalanche of tables. She managed to overhear some high-pitched voice making a dig at the larger girl's emotions. Which aside from having a terrible first day, would make quite an asset on the group of close friends team she was planning on forming as part of her senior year.

So while Jenny was doing her best not to cause a scene, Fellecia the nargacauga... cat... dragon... thing... had decided to use the other girl's immense size in order to make a scene of the fact that she actually wasn't trying to make a scene. And totally had nothing to do with the trying to compensate for being one of the smallest and flattest of the entire senior class.

Using her cat-like ninja-reflexes, it was a simple matter to scale the tallest object in the lunchroom (Jenny), and fling a few quills from her tail at the spider-lady to get her to stop berating the big girl. She then posed herself on one leg, and leaned against Miss Kami's left horn like the personification of her conscience. Except with all her fury and rage directed at Cahreli.

"I'm not sure why she should be apologizing to you. It isn't as though you're going to help clean up this mess, and besides," Felix hissed, pointing at the tables from the direction miss Neseta approached from, "She didn't even hit your table!"

Roxanne wasted no time as Ray saw the massive form of Jenny and immediately went to her papers. She knew a few of the pilots in the class but she just had to make sure, cause Jenny was new. Ray knew about the Lao Shan-Lung, but never could remember the name of the race, she only knew they were big and thank goodness the hallways were designed for transporting loader mechs around. She also knew the gals in engineering were adjusting the food dispensers to deal with Jenny's higher than normal appetite. Though, she wasn't quite sure how they paid for it, or were restocked.

While she found the information, everyone was already inside the messhall. "Hey wait!" She ran, almost dropping her papers and data slate. Crash bam crash, then yelling. Jenny's size had already caused a ruckus as her tail pushed some tables and benches aside, causing some of the crew and pilots to lose their lunch. Then the shouting began.

"Oh no!" Ray knew that Fellecia had a very nasty habit of getting physical in every confrontation she was in. Already the quills were flying. Ray had to come over, her hands up and splotches of her slime already threatening to fall off her form.

Ray came up behind Cahreli "Please please settle down." She wasn't really good at raising her voice in a tense situation. Then a quill sailed past her, she managed to move her leg just in time but gave a big yelp for her trouble. She then used the data slate as a kind of make shift shield incase more projectiles were hurled her way. "Jenny apologized, she didn't mean it. And there's no-no reason to be fighting. Come on, we're on the same team... Its just a couple of tables no need to get mad over it." Ray sniffed, bubbles already formed at the side of her eyes. She wasn't good when it came to dealing with fights, but god love her, she tries.

Five people walked down the corridor. No, that was incorrect. Five monstergirls hovered through the corridor. A faint sound of buzzing followed the quintuplet as they made their way through the hallways, four of them giggling and conversing whilst the fifth guided them along. The Hive's crew moved in unity with one another down the hallways, until at last they arrived to the classroom.

Whereupon all five of them were stunned into silence.

"She's huge!" Daffodil's jaw had dropped, the bumblebee using her finger to comedically shut her mouth. "Absolutely..." "Gigantic!" An odd quirk of the five was that they would sometimes pick up each other's sentences, words flowing between them in a most disorienting fashion. They weren't called the Hive for nothing, after all.

"That's quite something." Rose folded her arms, blinking up at the massive shape that was Jenny. Slender feet touched down to the ground as the group stopped hovering, instead turning to offer each other looks. There was a lot of shouting and a lot of screaming. That was a problem that would likely have to be sorted. "Alright, split up and try to help as much as you can." The queen bee nodded at her subordinates and headed over to Roxanne, raising an eyebrow. "What's... Hm. What's going on exactly?"

Even as she spoke, the others were buzzing off. Hyacinth had gone over to where Ray now stood, rubbing the other monstergirl on the shoulder in order to try to cheer her up. "No need to cry. You're doing great!" Out of all the drones, Hyacinth was the biggest. Nowhere near the size of Rose of course, but compared to say... Lavender, she was certainly a larger presence.

As Hyacinth talked to Ray, Tulip and Daffodil had gone up to the big shape itself. Jenny. "Hiya!" The pair waved at the massive bulk together. "I'm Daffodil!" "And I'm Tulip!" "We haven't seen you" "around, you must be new!" "It's really good." "To see you!" "Can we be friends?"

In comparison to the rest Lavender was... Well, being Lavender. Instead of helping out, or really doing anything, she had taken the chance to buzz about and look at everything she could, as distracted as she almost always was outside of missions.

It seemed Jenny was alright. And so was Eileen. In that case, it appeared Roxanne didn't need to intervene. Of course, it quickly became evident that this wasn't the case, as Jenny first drew Cahreli's ire, and then Cahreli in turn drew Fellicia's; Ray's intervention made Roxanne's own intervention unnecessary, though, so she left the situation be, simply staying put for the time being.

And then the Hive arrived. As they took stock of the situation, Rose directed her workers to assist - Hyacinth comforted Ray, who seemed to be saddened by the argument; Tulip and Daffodil greeted Jenny cheerily; and Lavender, rather than helping, simply wandered around the room. Rose, meanwhile, approached Roxanne, asking what exactly was going on, to which Roxanne responded as follows:

'Ray and I have a mission to deliver to all students. This will be better elaborated upon once the entire student body is present to listen. Jenny's movement through the mess hall has disrupted the layout of the tables. Cahreli has confronted Jenny about the table disruption. Fellicia has confronted Cahreli about her behaviour, climbing Jenny's frame and using her quills to silence her and draw her attention. Ray is attempting to settle the situation, and seems to be on the verge of crying as a result. You and the rest of the Hive have arrived, and you have directed your drones to help settle the situation. I would elaborate on how, but you are already aware of what each is doing. How are you all feeling today?'

It could be extremely boring, listening to Roxanne talk for long periods of time with as little inflection as she did. She had, however, addressed Rose's question, relaying the situation as exactly as it was plausible to.

"Oooohhhh, so your tail's the problem!" Cahreli gleefully suggested, "I'm sure there's something we can use to take care of that!"

Truth be told, Cahreli was pleasantly surprised at how easy of a picking the giantess proved to be thus far. Her response to Cahreli's confrontation wasn't all that assertive. It couldn't even be considered defensive. All the girl really did was splutter out an apology and a bullshit excuse for her lapse of awareness... which it was bullshit. Last time Cahreli checked, they weren't exactly on an icy surface. Or an oily one. Or even something as comical as one giant banana peel.

In any case, Cahreli was quite happy to leaving that as the possible looming threat that it sounded like. Just as she turned to leave, however, her compound eyes had just caught vision of a cat-like being making a move to attack her, which enabled her to react just in time to dodge the incoming volley of quills coming her way. Cahreli turned back to face her attacker... only to make a mockery of her voice.

"Nyyaah, it didn't even hit your table; nyyaah, apparently you're so arrogant that you shouldn't care about a table being smacked around just because it wasn't yours; nyyaah, of course I'd think that cause I'm a ditzy dumbass broad-cat with milk for brains; nnyyyaaahh!" well, one would have to question the lack of maturity that Cahreli presented, not to mention the insolent brashness, but in any case... "All of that is what you sound like! It's a good thing you're such a hack, too. Cause otherwise you could've REALLY HURT ME!!"

The tantrum that she pretend to have may have been a facade, but Cahreli was more annoyed over the fact that cat-person attracted all the attention earlier. Some bee-girls flew over to try and cheer the giantess up, and even a slime-girl had rushed to diffuse the situation before it got any more out of hand than it already was. That slime girl looked familiar to Cahreli somehow. Wasn't she Dr. Osborne's main assistant? How the hell did she get dragged into this mess of all people? Cahreli needed to say something, so...

"Well, it always starts with a couple of tables, innit?" she told the assistant, "Then all of a sudden one of those tables smacks someone on the head, then they both do, then the people get hit bad enough to fall into comas and then... there's a reason people still get arrested for manslaughter, is what I'm trying to say."

Cahreli used her compound eyes to check on the cat-person. No doubt she'd be fuming over everything the Arachne had said, but it was entirely possible that she bailed out of fear of getting an earful... unlike Cahreli, who reveled in the attention she got no matter how good or bad. Confident that the cat-person wouldn't try anything either way, Cahreli continued speaking.

"Oh, and it may not have sounded like it, but for the record, I was calm this whole time. The only reason I may have been shouting is because..." she turned to face the giantess mid-sentence, if only to prove a point "...it is customary to ensure the person that you're trying to talk to can actually hear you!"

Jenny sat there looking down at the spider when she felt something bouncing and climbing up her, before she could even try to guess or get a good look at what it was it was already on the top of her head. The senior pilot Fellecia had quickly scaled up her body and was now using her head as a pedestal to talk from, something that only served to make Jenny blush furiously. She was being climbed like a mountain and had someone on top of her head she couldn't see, it was like having a giant bug in her hair but that bug was actually an angry Nargacuga. Jenny went to reach for Fellecia but stopped herself and simply placed her fists on her cheeks as she continued to blush furiously. Then Fellecia started yelling down at Cahreli oh no this is all my fault! Jenny wanted to speak up but she couldn't bring herself to, a mix of not wanting to interrupt and embarrassment had her silenced.

It was about now that Ray tried to step in and stop the argument before it could get a chance to go any further, then bees entered the room gosh even more people! Jenny squirmed a little making a soft squeaking noise that would be rather loud given her size, she wanted to just crawl back out into the hallway and run to the hanger so she could curl up alone. But she had a passenger at the moment and feared moving at all so she could avoid hurting them.

Jenny was a little surprised when a pair of the worker bees Daffodil and Tulip had introduce themselves and were asking if they could be her friends, Jenny was almost overcome with joy at that moment. "O-ok." even with the amount of excitement brewing inside her she kept herself quiet, her face was almost as red as her horns at this point. Though the happy train screeched to a halt as Cahreli started popping off, Jenny was at such a loss of what to do she just continued too look between the bees and the spider. She was actually trembling now as the fists pressed against her cheeks demonstrated with their subtle shaking. "S-sorry!..." She blurted out again unable to formulate any other words for the situation.

She just came her to eat a little something, a fact her body reminded her of with a loud stomach rumble. This probably sounded more akin to far off thunder to the rest of the people in the but to Jenny it was the unmistakable sound of a stomach groan. That sound erupting from her was the final straw, Jenny's tail stiffened out in the air kind of like a cat's tail as she started to shake her head while making an embarrassed whimper. How could this actually get worse.

The new arachne student just seemed to find the most irksome ways to get Felix riled-up enough to be ready to fling plenty more quils her way. But with Roxanne finally arriving, she chose best to at least try and behave as though nothing was wrong. But then She overheard something about a mission; almost on cue, Felix's perch rumbled like she'd been hit by a frieght-train and the Lao's tail went rigid as a board.

With that, the deft nargacauga slid off Jenny-Jira's head and onto her shoulder, as though disembarking a rather large mecha before leaning her back against the side of the giantess's beet-red face to sulk. "If I had hit that arrogant bug, then she'd have had something worth crying about." Her voice then softened, "Don't worry about the briefing, get something to eat and I'll fill you in on the mission later, it can't be anything too hard if they're sending everyone on this field-trip... Oh, by the way I'm Felicia Kuntz. Senior classmember. I'll probably be your guide for your first year here, so you better get used to me."

She then dismounted by sliding gracefully down Jenny's arm, bouncing off her elbow, and land somewhere near Roxanne, Ray, Rose, and Hyacinth.

"So what's this about a mission?"

Lab Assistant Ray

@Lady Selune

Ray was already trying to hold back the tears as Hyacinth came to her rescue. She was rubbing her eyes and trying to keep herself together while getting essentially mothered. "Im *sniffle* not crying." She said, her voice cracking just a little bit. "Thanks. Thanks. I'm okay." She whiped a bit of goo from her eye before clutching her slat to her chest, looking all happy and preppy again. "You must be Rose. It's nice to meet-"

She suddenly remembered the point of being here and looked at her list. "Rose! Oh, your with this class! Isn't that great. Nice to meet you, I'm Ray. I'll be your training and mission liaison. Just let me know if you need-"

@AdmrlStalfos19

Before she could finish, Cahreli address Ray who brought up some good points. The slime girl put a finger to her chin, as if considering things. "I guess that is true. Safety is paramount, and Doctor Osborne says that we shouldnt get hurt easily. I'll try to see if we can move the tables so that -"

@LemonZest1337

"Oh yeah, Jenny. So that Jenny won't have to bump into anything." She smiled cheerily, now that the situation was settling down. "And its just as well, Cahreli. You and Jenny are part of the same class! That means they'll be plenty of opportunities for you guys to be friends now. Isn't that great?" She beam, her leg even raising a little as if dancing.

@Foster

"And speaking of." Ray looked a little miffed, or huffy by the way her cheeks bulged a little bit. "Felix. I know you're the senior, but you really need to set the example. Shooting spines everywhere and crawling on your team? I mean if Doctor Osborne could see this, he'd have a fit! You can't keep getting into fights. Now then, I think thats, most of-"

@GarlandDaHero

Ray notices the girl in the far corner, the picture matching. "Eileen!?" she asks, her voice echoing. "Eileen right? Im sorry to bother you, could you come over. Meet your team, your part of the class too! It'd be so nice if I didnt have to scream across across- across- ac- ac- aACCCHHHKKKK---SSSSSSS!"

Ray seemed to make a horrible face, her joints and form twitching and going rigid, almost as if she was having some kind of psychotic episode or a stroke. Her limbs twisted this way and that in a disturbing terrible way before her entire body seemed to melt into a heap of green goo, clothes and all.

An awkward second later and the goo reformed itself. While it was still, technically Ray, she was way different, taller somehow, better posture and more authoritarian. "Ze am Duktor Rei Ozbourne." It still sounded like Ray too, but much more forceful, demanding, and German. Roxanne would know what happened, and maybe Felix, the Doctor taking advantage of Ray as his living puppet. "Velcum to ze Avalon Mobile Frame Cadet Squadron! Normally, Vi vould give some great speesh and start training opurvations. Vut we have an emergency situation. A rescue op. Easy for you green pilots." Dr. Rei, or Ray paced about the mess hall addressing each one of the pilots before coming to an imperious pose near Roxanne.

"Roxanne, is your Training Instructor, and Field Coordinator. She vill brief ze mission. Zhen I suggest you eat quick and ready your frames. Roxanne?" Giving her the floor.

Eileen tried to ignore the hijinks going on a few tables over, what with Jenny finding herself surrounded by bees, a spider, and a Nargacuga, but Ray's pleas and subsequent pseudo-morphing into Professor Osbourne were enough to cause her to raise an eyebrow and somewhat reluctantly power walk over.

"A rescue mission?" Eileen repeated. "This early...?" A frown came across the Valstrax's face, and she nodded soon after, determination in her blue and red eyes. "Understood. Orders, Roxanne?"
