The stone can be used up to three times per arc; every day the user spends in the presence of the stone, they will need to complete a saving throw to avoid being corrupted by its power.

Furs and cloaks are basically necessities in order to survive the harsh climate of his homeland. He has a dark blue cloak paired with a white wolf pelt that he can often be seen wearing over a tunic, which is either plain or embellished depending on the occasion. His trousers usually fall somewhere on the grayscale in color and are paired with sturdy leather boots. As far as personal grooming habits goes, he doesn't have much facial hair to speak of, and his golden blonde hair is always a bit more tousled than he'd like it. Overall though, he keeps himself clean and presentable to the best of his abilities. I mean he sort of has to.

At least he tries. That's got to count for something, right? Nevertheless, he generally has a friendly and pleasant disposition. The man never meets a stranger really, always being warm, inviting, and respectful to others, unless of course when given some reason to do otherwise. That is to say that he does have his limits. Unfortunately, some of his limits are of the more self-serving variety.

Yes, he has a compassionate heart, and as such, he will speak up and act in the defense of others. With a loyalty and determination that hardly, if ever, wavers, he is an invaluable ally to say the least. However, he also has a problem with pride that makes him at times less than amiable to be around. Your Path:
That's a bit complicated. He didn't choose the path of crown prince. It sort of chose him. You see he had been just an "ordinary" prince, second in line to the throne of the Land of Long Nights after his older sister Ragna. However, his life took an unexpected twist when Ragna up and left, thrusting him into the position of crown prince. To say that it was a shock to his system is a bit of an understatement, and he can't say that he necessarily took the change in stride. It is a lot of pressure and responsibility to place upon the shoulders of someone so young, and with the threat of war with the Eastern SnowPlains, it only served to exacerbate those feelings. As they say, heavy is the head that wears the crown.

General History:
Tristan was born into the royal family of the Land of Long Nights, as second in line to the throne after his older sister Ragna. As to be expected, from a young age he was very much raised in the ways of kingship, including diplomacy, court etiquette, and the like. However, due to the simple fact that he wasn't the immediate successor to the throne, one could say he had more leeway to the structure of his life than the Crown Princess did. Nevertheless, his interests perhaps did not sway too far from what was expected of a prince. He very much enjoyed weaponry practice, dueling, horseback riding, and hunting, namely falconry. If he wasn't studying, he was most likely "studying" the art of war and combat in the company of his father's finest warriors and their children. Though he was well liked amongst most everyone, he developed a particularly close friendship with Fyror Kildragon, the eldest son of one of the kingsguard. Fyror was three years older and was a bit of a goody two shoes as far as Tristan was concerned. As such, the young prince enjoyed getting the both of them in trouble just to see the guy squirm. Yet somehow, someway, Fyror put up with his incessant shenanigans, and the two of them became practically inseparable.

At the ripe age of eleven, Tristan's life was shaken to the core for the first time of unfortunately more instances to come. He and Fyror were riding out with a small hunting party consisting of a few knights and squires when they were suddenly ambushed by a group of bandits. The knights rallied around Tristan in order to protect their prince, and other than a relatively minor laceration to his right arm, they were successful. Unfortunately, his dear friend Fyror wasn't so lucky. Fyror was slashed across the left side of his face, causing a grievous injury. Tristan felt utterly helpless as his best friend laid in a pool of blood in the midst of an ongoing battle. Fortunately, reinforcements came in the nick of time to beat back the bandits and whisk them away to safety. While Fyror laid in the infirmary at the brink of death as he was being desperately tended to by healers, Tristan had to be present to address the court on the attack. In the end, by some miracle from the gods, Fyror survived. His face and the eyesight in his left eye weren't so lucky, but he was alive and that was all one could truly ask for. In truth, Tristan had always looked up to Fyror, but now more than ever before, as he watched his friend bounce back from a near fatality and make the most of the second chance he was given. The whole experience was understandably traumatizing, but to think, this wasn't even the half of what was to come.

Over the years, Tristan's life proved to be one of complications with many unexpected twists and turns. This was perhaps no greater true than roughly a year ago when his older sister, the Crown Princess Ragna, ran away, relinquishing her entitlement to the throne and thus thrusting Tristan unawares into the position of Crown Prince. He was the next in line to the throne now, which meant that he would become the ruler of the Land of Long Nights after his parents. Talk about a gamechanger. Despite years of training in princely duties, he felt terribly unprepared for it all. A part of him also selfishly felt a bitterness towards his sister for putting him into this compromising position and for essentially abandoning her people. With the imminent threat of war with the Eastern SnowPlains the stakes were high and so were the costs he would have to pay for king and country. The Land of Long Nights needed the support of the Castle and in order to accomplish this he was being hard-pressed to convince Crown Princess Luna of the Small Wet Country Across the Sea to marry him. Yup, that's right. He's got to get hitched. Oh, gods save him.

Thoughts on the Sickenesse:
It's a tragedy. There's really no question in his mind as to that. Not only that, it is a threat to national security, and as such, it is not something he can take lightly. As to how it came about, whether it be manmade or something more complicated, he is a bit more uncertain. It can't be a mere coincidence that it is effecting only Magyk users. However, he doubts that it is something they caused all on their own. If that were the case, why hadn't they fallen ill ages ago? No, something changed, and he would certainly like to find out. Unfortunately, he is currently hard-pressed on other matters, namely the threat of war with the Eastern SnowPlains.

Personality:
Millicent knows what she wants and is not afraid to pursue those, even if it means stepping over others. Living a life that bent towards the will of others, most notably men, she had learned to captivate those around her and have them do her bidding for a change. She rarely holds friends and is not easy to trust. Her word should be taken with a grain of salt, but it is so compelling.

Since bearing Hecate, Millicent has not changed much. Knowing she is powerful, she enjoys playing around with others, whether it is through words or actions matters little to her. She is not afraid of telling others how she feels. She holds some heart for the depraved, especially women having been one before. She is out for entertainment and living a long life can lead t extreme boredom.

Millicent doesn't remember much of her mother and father. The bits and pieces that were shared with her were that they were a wealthy family who enjoyed the life of luxury and all it brought with it. They hosted parties, belittled their servants, and were prominent figures in the upper-class social circles. Unbeknownst to most, they rose through the ranks with their group The Monarchs. Though they didn't take part in the acts themselves, they employed The Monarchs to blackmail and, if the need arose, assassinate their targets. It was amazing that they were never caught, but money bought tongues as well as hands. However, they got too big for their britches and betrayed The Monarchs. Never shedding blood of an innocent, their target was a high member of the court who did nothing wrong. The political turmoil from that kill sent a huge wave throughout the city. Hoping to strike big from it, the family tried to mosey in, until The Monarchs got involved and took their pay in blood.

That left Millicent, only 5 years old at the time. Seeing as Millicent was innocent and not part of her family, the Monarchs didn't know what to do with her. One member suggested taking her in and training her in their ways. Not only would they get a young member to mold, but it would be an even bigger slap to the face of the family that betrayed them. However, they couldn't raise a little girl on their own while still doing their jobs. They had to find a suitable home for her. It couldn't be with an upper-class family, for fear they would recognize her. That is when they found Miss Constance. Miss Constance was a Madame in charge of a brothel. She had few ladies working for her. The Monarchs issued their plea to help them. Miss Constance took a liking to the young girl who reminded her of her lost daughter and took her in.

Miss Constance did her best in riding Millicent, giving her an education, the ability to read as well as write, horseback riding, and other subjects to give her a better chance. Miss Constance didn't want the life she led to be an influence, so she made it known to Millicent she was allowed to choose what she wanted. Millicent was caught between two sides. The Monarchs wanted her to become a member of their ranks and Miss Constance, a mother unlike any she had, wanted her to have a life of her own choosing. Millicent decided to have the best of both worlds.

Though against it, at first, Miss Constance soon saw the way men were attracted to Millicent and paid handsomely for her service, especially those of a higher standing. Millicent also made it known to The Monarchs that her profession allowed for to get into places otherwise off-limits to her and that would make it easier to carry out her contracts. Soon, Millicent donned the black mask of Lady Butterfly and set out to work to make a name for herself in the life she chose. Miss Constance need not know.

Since her travels, Millicent lost her life and became a spirit. Under this, she charged after the mysterious flask that contained her essence. Drinking from the flask, she met Hecate and was imbued with her spirit, transforming the former assassin into a godlike being, able to perform amazing feats. She has since traveled the world, seeing time pass and taking matters into her own hands, more or less, when she sees fit.

Zekarra is a bubbly, happy go lucky sort of girl. She can be a bit of a trickster at times, but she'll always be there for those who need it in a pinch. A kind and caring individual, Zekarra wouldn't hesitate to protect those she cares about, and those she considers friends. Sometimes, she'll even defend complete strangers, as long as she firmly believes that it is the right thing to do.

Having been somewhat sheltered for a good portion of her life, Zekarra is also completely naive, almost childlike in the way that she views the world as a whole. Tending to be oblivious to things of all sorts, she tends to wander around, interested in everything around her, no matter how dangerous it could be. She tends to not find any sort of problems thankfully, but she does enjoy wandering around to her heart's content.

Zekarra was born, well, more of hatched, at the Palace. She had her egg found by Lyra Laurek, but not long after she had hatched she was united with her parents. Her mother tended not to want to tell her why she had even left the egg at the Palace in the first place, but that didn't really matter to her in the long run as she grew older. Since her mother was a temporal dragon, their home was in a small pocket in the time stream, and this was the place that she grew up in. A place outside of time itself, since the family likely would not be able to stay in one place for very long if they lived in any one time era.

As she grew older, her mother would on occasion take her on small adventures into the time stream, to several different time eras. There was a point, where her mother even took her into the time era that her father was initially from, and she was shocked at how much the world changed since then. Her mother trained her in her powers over time, as well as her draconic powers while she learned more about her mutant abilities from her father, since she was a bit of an oddball being a dragon and being a mutant.

When her family heard about the wedding, Zekarra was eager to go. It would mean going back to the place she was born, and definitely would not pass up that chance! She's excited to see what the Castle and its people are like, and she hopes that maybe her family might let her stay a little longer than they planned on. Zekarra is eager to explore the place that she was born, and hopes to see what the future holds for those at the Castle herself, without looking into the timeline.

Your Path: In her tribe of Windriders, there is a family of White Witches. Their abilities tending toward the more natural side of things - plants, herbalism, potions. However, Mona's abilities tended to connect more with rock and stone. She could breathe spells, charms really, into whatever piece of jewelry she created. This did not mean she did not understand or have these abilities, just that her specialty was with stone, as her family's was with plant.

General History: She was born to a tribe of nomads, the Windwalkers. The moved as the breeze and the greenery demanded. In her first few year, she had never seen the snow. Because her family was communal she had no specific mother or father nor any sense of true brother or sister. Eceryone was together as a whole. While, for most, this may seem confusing but it was al she had known growing up. Adults decided on which youngsters would marry whom. In her teenage year, she was briefly engaged to a young man who was, just half a year later, gored by a buffalo like a creature upon the plains. Since then she has advocated for herself, saying that if she is to marry it will be to bring fresh blood into the tribe. After her to be husbands death no one objected. In their minds, she was a widower.

Her first true connection with stones happened at the age of four. She had found a smooth opal in a market and the pair conversed for a few minutes in front of a man's stall before he shooed her away. Talking to rocks was not about to bring the wealthy who could afford his wares about. She went back with coin and bought the opal. It was a couple of years before she sold the stone. She had spent time learning the wireworking and threading that went into making jewelry. The necklace she had made was extravagant and it was bought quickly by a young man wishing to gain a woman's favor. From that moment onwards she knew that she would forever be a jeweler.

Upon attaining her twentieth year she has decided to travel about, on her own. She wishes to gain experiences and learn new things to bring back to the tribe. She has declared she is a Windwalker through and through. She has no plans to leave them permanantely. But Mona feels, in order to find her true place n life she must do as nomads often do, and wander. On her own, she works with jewels and sells the subsequent jewelry which grants the wearer some bit of Magyk. A necklace to allow you to speak to others better, a ring that makes you more beautiful, or a bracelet to enhance your creative skills. Her abilities bring out the best in people through her craft.

Thoughts on the Sickenesse: "The Sickness? Well, I couldn't be sure. I ain't no doctor or nothin. I imagine its something like the difference between the poor and the rich. One is more likey to get sick due to some reason or another. I work with metal and gems. Not people. That question be best axed of a doctor."
