Lillian skidded to a halt just barely in time to avoid getting stuck in the silk blocking the doorway. There was no way she could slide through, so she turned around in anticipation of an attack as Protean spoke. A scent caught her by surprise, the smell of gunpowder and cigarettes. What was the Director doing down here?

Sure enough, a snake was shooting at her. She twisted, moving out of the way, and transformed to the biggest she could in such an enclosed space. She snapped down on the snake's head before it fully correct itself to chase after her, severing it and letting the head fall to the floor. In the next instance, she spun back around, crashing through the wall.

That hurt, but she still had a plan to enact. With all the others occupying Protean, she slipped back into her human form and took off running.

"Decoy, I need directions to the trooper's armory, please!" she said urgently as she kept running.

She hoped her friends would be okay until she got back. And that the Director wouldn't do anything rash...

Jason

Jason blinked, mildly surprised by the sudden corporeality of the villain before lunging at him. He was just a hair too slow, however, and he was suddenly looking at a bomb.

Fuck.

"Can you do anything about this, Headhunter?" he asked quickly. "Or should I take it and try to get it out of here?"

Raymond Haywood: The Airport

Ah, perfect. Now his power was working on the man. No time to waste, then.

Target: Green-cloaked man in powered armor. Headshot, induce unconsciousness. No permanent-

FUCK! God damn bastard vanished, and so far as Raymond could tell, he wasn’t coming back this time. In his place, there remained a small green orb, with a blinking LED on it... he didn’t know what exactly it was, but there was an immediate likelihood: Bomb.

Target: Unknown device. Destroy explosive trigger as primary target, destroy other major components as secondary targets, do not detonate. Shoot. Shoot. Shoot.

The device was reduced to shrapnel and destroyed electronics before Jason finished his sentence, and Headhunter only caught the latter half of his sentence after scoping out. ‘It’s dealt with, hopefully,’ he muttered back. ‘Hopefully, we haven’t lost the scientist again, though.’ He’d be damn sure he was ready to shoot the fucker if he made the mistake of showing up again... but the prospect of that happening, he felt, was probably quite low.

Chatterbox
Theme

Breathing out a sigh of relief as their plan succeeded, Chatterbox began using tap code, only for the madman to rise...and then vanish, replaced by something worrisome. "Shit," he uttered, and then yelled out at his thralls, "Run to the other end of the Concourse, get the hell away!"

Immediately they sprung into motion, but an of an oddly orderly sort as few of them jostled or knocked into eachother. Very few people fell, despite the quantity of people trying to get away. Chatterbox himself spoke to Whimsy, then Thunderbolt, "Whimsy, Ignore the ground underneat the blinking object. Bol—cancel that, everyone run!" With Thunder already in play he could only hope that Headhunter was taking his shot. That said he turned, hoping Whimsy would come along, and ran as fast as he could away from the blinking object.
Outsider

As Eyeblight escaped, a hollow thrum emanated from Outsider's form, the sound reminscent of a growl. "Dammit," he swore, then, getting an idea he called out to Sylph "Brace yourself!" A tentacle snaked out at incredible speed, snatching her up and pulling her back through the building, before moving up. A small pulse pushed a window inwards, as well as part of the wall, making sure that she would fit.

"Sorry to be rough. No time. Cut him off!" He then proceeded to deposit her into the room through the broken wall.

Silvia was still shaking as she watched Eyeblight vanish, his sights seemingly set on whoever was unfortunate enough to be on the second floor of the building. She couldn't help but feel relieved as the terror in her slowly subsided. That relief would quickly be replaced with anger, then shock. Outsider had picked her up with one of his tendrils, at least he was polite about it. Silvia curled up as much as she could so that Outsider could more easily fit her through the hole he'd made in the second floor window.

She noticed she was still shaking when Outsider set her down, she didn't want to go after Eyeblight, she silently wished Outsider could just do it. But at this point if Outsider got more involved he might bring the building down. "O-ok I'm going in." Silvia clenched her fists and set off, hopefully she could corner Eyeblight, perhaps then she could pin him in an area using her body and win barrier as a wall. Silvia would freeze the moment she found Eyeblight, all she could do was fire another weak blast and try to advance on the villain. Though the pure terror induced by looking at him made it rather hard to approach him.

Sofia Stien - The Airport

Sofia reluctantly let herself be steered towards Allison who promptly and effectively by the sounds of things, zapped the evil doctor. She opened her eyes to see the situation and to her surprise, the doctor had vanished and left behind what appeared to be a ticking time bomb. Chatterhead starting shouting orders and Sofia began touching the floor and then stopped, flustered by the sudden contradictory commands, simply following along after Chatterhead. "Careful!" Sofia shouted to Jason as they ran away, she didn't know what kind of bomb it was but considering what weird stuff had happened so far it could do basically anything and Sofia wouldn't be too surprised.

Mina Kreiger (Alloy)

The moment this "Dr. Dean" seemingly disappeared into the ether once more, as if he'd been zapped into another place entirely. The scene wasn't shifting again for herself and the others, it seemed, but...it seemed he could do the same thing to himself alone. What would he do then, though? What would he do now, even, just escape and leave them in the dust? It was worrisome and frustrating, but more worrisome than this, at least in the immediate short-term, was the orb he had left behind that was beeping like a time bomb.

The moment she heard beeping and saw the red light, Alloy's eyes got as big a plates, and her body immediately turned to start running. No, time to think properly. There was only time for pure instinct, and to try to avoid the clutches of death or some other freaky fate.

"Shit, run! But keep your eyes open for that asshole!" Ally shouted over the comms as she immediately bolted away from the green orb-like object, grabbing up Whimsy in her arms along the way she aimed to get to the other end of the concourse.

Her right arm was depleting its metal skin at a decent rate so far, given what she'd done to this freak. It was a decent pacing, but...she had no idea what would come next. Maybe a sneak attack, or an ambush?

Wards: Protean, the Protectorate's Strongest Part III

@Old Amsterdam@yoshua171@Gardevoiran@BCTheEntity@Lugubrious

Protean watched as Messiah blasted Tulpa's creation with fire from behind, taking in the results of the action, but he did not do so idly. He took a jump back in surprise at the sudden massive increase in the thing's size, its energy field having had a growth spurt along with the physical body. Damn, how lucky. There's no way she detected it after she manifested the projection, but this maneuver set back my strategy! Despite effectively having two sets of eyes, one pair focused exclusively on Tiger Lily, most of his focus had been taken up by the projection. While he noticed Tiger Lily's transformation and counter attack, he was just sluggish enough to be caught up in it. The dinosaur girl tore off the head of his snake arm, which dropped limply to the floor. Almost instantly the stub stopped all bleeding and reformed into something more useful: another mantis shrimp claw. However the dead snake head had been separated from him completely, and he was powerless to stop Tiger Lily from smashing through the wall. Well, no matter. She merely gave him another exit if this fight proved too troublesome. The remaining Wards before him were a far more pressing issue.

---- Tiger Lily ----
Rather than a verbal response in her communicator, Tiger Lily received directions in the form of small LEDs lighting up along the floor in a single path. They appeared to snake around the lobby and into another hall, stopping at a completely blank wall. Once she neared this wall, a series of lights flashed and it opened up, revealing a secret compartment which held a stash of PRT equipment: one combat rifle, one side pistol, and a single containment foam grenade. It wasn't an armory but clearly someone had wanted to be prepared in case of an emergency.

---- Back to the Battle ----

Protean did not move in closer to the massive projection blocking off the entire hallway. Confident he could tank through the energy field it had been armed with, he did not want to risk any other tricks Tulpa had thought of. Her power was even more unpredictable and dangerous than his, and he would not play the fool this day. Instead he waited, but did not have to wait long at all before it shrank down in size once more, becoming a bit larger than its original appearance and moving in on him in a dangerous warpath. The energy field of the projection let off many crackles and sizzles, darkening the floor beneath it and letting up many plumes of smoke. The scent of searing flesh permeated through the hall.

That's when Messiah let off another burning hot spear of flame aimed straight for Protean's head. This became a conundrum as he faced multiple attacks: dodging one could put him at greater risk to another. Determining that the tulpa was the more unpredictable, and therefore more dangerous threat, he opted not to avoid Messiah's blazing projectile. The heat seared away his antennae, melted the globes of his eyes, and scorched his skin. If he were to let out a cry of agony, nobody else would be able to tell as his leaps were melted shut. It seemed he had become easy prey for Tulpa's manifested creature as it moved in for the grapple, but the results proved to be not so. Just before it could complete the grab, Protean's shrimp claw extended outward at impossible blazing speeds, powering through the energy field and punching the creature dead center. The force knocked it back several feet, whipping up a strong wind. Just like the first punch demonstrated, if it had made contact with any of the Wards they'd have been instantly taken out. Luckily the tulpa was made to withstand such forces, but unfortunately those arms simply moved too fast to be affected by the energy field, at least for any more than scratch damage.

They definitely haven't figured it out yet. Good. I just need to hold the line a few more seco-oof! The shapeshifter's train of thought had been cut short when a sudden literal flying brick (wall) slammed into his chest, knocking him back a good few meters and toppling onto his back. Bruises, torn muscle tissue, severed veins, and broken bones healed in a near instant, but it was just enough time for the Wards' next gambit to pay off. The tulpa crossed the distance once more, now combined with Mastar's gooey namesake, and pierced into Protean's flesh just as he began reforming his eyes. The mere proximity of the creature meant that his flesh was bubbling and sizzling, burning away his excess body matter little by little. Of course, he had a lot of body matter, so the more pressing concern was the injection.

"GET OFF!" He unleashed another mighty mantis shrimp punch, this one more devastating than those before it. The force not only knocked the tulpa back along the floor, but put a nice size hole in it. It had been gored from one side straight through the other. This afforded Protean the precious fraction of a second he needed to get back on his feet. Even from the distance they all had put between them, the Wards could make out that Protean was breathing heavy from exertion. That only happened when he had run through large amounts of bio-mass, and for a man that normally contained around 16,000 pounds of bio-mass, that was a lot. But as for the injection site where some of Mastar's tar had gotten into his body? The flesh was falling off, dropping onto the floor. He had forcibly ejected the contaminated tissue from his body, but judging by the size of tissue, he was a good 20-25 pounds shed.

"I'm compartmentalizing sections of my body," he commented through heavy breathes. "Individual circulatory systems. That won't work again, but it was great teamwork. Really. You've all grown a lot. Maybe you can... Even win against Father?" He spoke with an air of sincerity, and regret. Though he undoubtedly fought for his life in this moment, Protean could not shake his affection for the teen heroes he had mentored. And when he spoke of "Father," he held clear disdain in his voice. Despite this, Protean never dropped his guard, and his body was only morphing more parts to fight with.

---- Director Kens ----
No. Not yet. It isn't... Time yet. Just a few more seconds... Once Lillian gets back... If I stay awake that long." Roger Kens glanced down to his bloody wound, still fresh and painful.

The panic that set in with the discovery of the bomb proved to be mostly unwarranted, as it was near instantly, and quite decisively, dealt with by Headhunter. With his power he scoped in with specific parameters to destroy the device, pulled the trigger, and then it was done. A loud BANG shot out in the open air of the airport, a bullet shattered through a window, and then the device lay in many pieces, each one completely inactive and inert. But the danger wasn't over yet.

"It's a bomb!" came the shout of another man from further down the concourse. Either he had not yet been affected by Chatterbox's power, or was still at such a stage that he maintained greater independence, but for one reason or another he did not communicate with the designated tap code opting to cry out in terror. Further down still, to those who were paying attention, a white voice opened up only for a second and no longer, just enough to drop another identical bomb to the floor. Then another, and another. Systematically, about thirty feet apart each time and a few seconds separating the intervals a white void appeared, a flash of the figure of Dr. Dean could be seen, and the void would close up leaving behind another bomb. The information was communicated to Chatterbox with his designated tap code, and it was a clear recognizable pattern. They could take advantage of this.

As Metanoia paused, confused by the villain’s sudden retreat, the shards of bone hurled by the angelic cape smashed into her. One pinged off of her helmet, nudging her head to the side as the shard of bone continued off into the distance, while the other bounced off of her chestplate, throwing her slightly off balance. It took her a moment to recover, and by the time she did so she found that the villain had already smashed through multiple floors and beat a hasty retreat.

For a moment, she briefly considered following the enemy cape. It could be a trap, though, and perhaps regrouping with the angelic cape and staying on the high ground to keep a lookout for the enemy capes would be a better idea.

Metanoia brought a gauntleted hand up to her chest, idly rubbing at the spot the chunk of bone had hit. The tiny bruise was already gone, of course, but it didn’t hurt to keep up appearances. Raising her head, she deliberately looked to the side of the angelic cape to avoid the master effect as she stuck out one arm and gave the other cape a thumbs up.

“Thank you for your assistance,” Metanoia said, her voice sounding as though two people were harmonizing as one. It was a bit muffled coming through her helmet that fully enclosed her head. “It seems we’ve forced them to retreat.”

As she spoke, she looked around, trying to see if the two enemy capes were visible down on the streets from where Metanoia stood on the rooftop. Meanwhile, she continued generating mass and strengthening her armor, letting the swords on her wrists lengthen and grow into two glaives that she broke off and clipped onto her back.

Claire watches the villain disappear down the hole and cannot see her or her companion on the street.

"I think I should be thanking you, to be honest, it was going to be a tough fight if not for you." She says, awkwardly raising a thumbs up in return, her hands looking normal enough.

She floats down to stand on the roof and take a better look at her ally, while internally fighting herself to try to leave this form.

"Who were they?" She asks before realising that it's the wrong question. "Or more importantly who are you?"

Creep
Sheila Hopkins

Outside Rockers HQ

Mire was attacking while the building was collapsing. Creep had no reason to believe the people Mire was attacking weren’t Community. There was no real good choices here.

‘Get out of there!’ Creep shouted into the building, then grabbed Salem and pulled to get around the corner. After all, she had just revealed her location, she was still looking all over around just in case someone attacked her. She’d try to listen in on what happened, and a second later assuming they weren’t attacked she’d look over again to see what was happening.

Having the invisible girl be the leader had its disadvantages.

Chad Belton: Rockers HQ After All

Hrm. Well, there was Creep... immediately, and as instructed, he looked subtly for that little white dot that proved- yep, this was Sheila. He relaxed just a touch as she gave her instructions: an archer was attacking the HQ, most people other than Pester were known to have evacuated, and it looked like they were going to fight for the HQ after all. And of course, he had to melt the arrows if he found the archer. Good call. He’d melt them. He’d melt as much of the archer’s clothes as he could, at that, melt them into the bastard’s skin, who did he think he was going after them... his ally too, just make a pool under him and watch him dissolve into cooked meat and ash, okay he actually did need to focus though.

He stuck with Creep as they drew near the HQ. Mire, it seemed, was transformed and doing her part to deal with the intruders - aggressively. Perhaps overly so. Weren’t they meant to not kill people, even as supervillains? Hell, he kind of wanted to help, but he also didn’t want to go near that, at all. Plus... well, he couldn’t see through the mist. He didn’t know what was happening, and the most he could get from it was that pretty much all of the ground in his radius would melt at his command, if he wanted it to. He even had a secret weapon, just in case somebody came close.

Which they might if Creep yelling at Mire to escape meant anything. Fuck. At least they were both still invisible, so far as he could tell, and she understood she’d given her position away since she was pulling him round the corner and all. Damn it, Sheila, what was she thinking?! That moron, he ought to shred her flesh for that- NO, no, he wasn’t going to do that. Not at all. He still needed to pay attention.

Not that the wall between him and Mire’s fight helped matters. Then again, the mist was no better, so... hrm, how could he take advantage of the situation with his newfound ability... the building had collapsed, just a little... who did that? Possibly the archer? Maybe he could figure out where that archer was, if more of the walls collapsed? Which was risky in this case, but if more walls fell, and the archer was causing those, he could figure out possible angles of attack and go from there... yeah, that’d be good...

‘I think we need to head into the building,’ Salem ultimately decided, citing his thoughts to Creep quietly. Chances were, the archer and his partner were in there, somewhere. If he could get an eye on that person, he could turn the guy into... well, he could burn the guy, anyway. Didn’t want to kill, or possibly even maim him- well, honestly, he did, but he knew he had to avoid that as much as possible. Damn unwritten rules. Anyway, the choice was on her.

Metanoia debated with herself for a moment. Talk to the cape while looking away from her, or risk looking at her and running away in fright? In the end, politeness, manners, and Metanoia’s desire to avoid shunning someone for their appearance won out, and so she steeled herself and attempted to look at the angelic being.

Metanoia immediately twitched, though the thick armor completely hid her reaction. It wasn’t the appearance—it was almost beautiful in a way that made Metanoia want to examine her further—but instead it was the sudden surge of unwarranted terror that took her by surprise. She shoved it down, though, forcing her body to relax with her biokinesis and trying to think happy thoughts. It was just another indication of how strange cape powers were and another reminder of her own vulnerability.

“The fight wasn’t too bad,” Metanoia said lightly, tilting her head and tapping her completely mended chestplate. She was smiling under her helmet, not that the other cape could see her. “But I will accept your gratitude.”

The filigree on Metanoia’s armor grew more intricate as the seconds passed, curling vines and overlapping scales rising from every inch of the surface. “I don’t know who they were,” Metanoia said. “As for myself…”

A sense of giddiness grew in her chest as her lips formed her cape name. She’d thought about it for quite some time now, and had spent even more time forcing herself to think of herself in her cape name while in costume to avoid any slip-ups.

“You can call me Metanoia,” she said happily, the last word resonating oddly in her throat. “I can grow and manipulate bone at close range, and today’s my first day out and about. This isn’t how I planned to start my cape career, but I couldn’t stand by without helping.” She held out a gauntleted hand for the angelic cape to shake. “If you don’t mind me asking, what’s your name?”

She sighs in relief internal as she the other cape isn't hurt or anything but she knows it won't show in her breaker. Instead, it offers her a sense of forgiveness and acceptance by the other cape and a fighting reason to leave this breaker form.

"I know the one who came up here was named Celia and that they may have been sisters, as they referred to each other as sister." She says a little hazy on any more details but using this all as a distraction from her thoughts of growing stronger.

"You held up pretty well for someone on their first day so well done Metanoia." She looks at the hand cautiously knowing that any second her hand would return to its normal look and not too long after she would revert.

She takes the risk and shakes the other caps hand gently. "I am Abaddon, I can telekinetically move things and I get stronger as the fight goes on." As she mover her hand away, her fingers separate back from the rest of her hands.

"Sorry about that... its a wind-down of sorts from the growing stronger." She says internally worrying that she'd freaked out the other cape.

Lillian ran. She'd hardly ever ran so fast as she did today. Following the directions, she raided the... Security locker? Secret stash? She really didn't know what to call it, and there wasn't any time to worry about it.

Strapping the combat rifle to her back, she set back off towards the others with the pistol and grenade in hand.

She'd never fired a gun before, but she knew how to use the grenade. And guns weren't hard, right? They used them in movies all the time, and she'd seen the troopers use them before. Well, hold them. The one thing she'd noticed with the troopers compared to real life, however, was that they kept their fingers actually off the trigger unless they were actively using the gun. Like when they'd arrested the Rockers. She mimicked that as she ran.

"Decoy, what's the ammo in these? Rubber or live?" she asked quietly.

"Experimental containment foam rounds."

Well, that was a surprise. She nodded to herself, gripping the pistol more securely.

As she neared the battle zone again, she slowed down. Making sure she wasn't making too much noise, she'd arguably be impossible to hear except through enhanced senses like her own.

As she neared the hole she'd made, she readied the grenade. Protean was breathing heavily she could hear, and she'd caught mention of something about a Father.

As she came to the hole, she acted. Darting into the room, she tossed the grenade, activating it's mechanism, and aimed towards the space between Protean and the wall. If she timed it right, it would activate without risking going too far and catching her friends.

Immediately after letting go of the grenade, she pulled back her other hand and threw the gun, safety on, as hard as she could towards Kens' hiding place. She couldn't leave any asset unused here. And she could smell the gunpowder. He'd shot something recently, she was sure of it. He could make use of that pistol.

Once the pistol left her hands, she pulled the assault rifle around. It was big, odd to handle for an inexperienced kid like herself, but she did the best she could. She took aim at Protean and she aimed low. Even if she missed she'd just be hitting the floor.

She flipped the safety off and pulled the trigger.

The Community Strikes Back

@PlatinumSkink@Spiffy@BCTheEntity@solokolos@Lemonzest1337
Chapter Two: The Rockers
The woman let out a bit of a laugh at the scene in front of her as Mire struck out. Her attack penetrated the force Swarm was protecting, heading straight for him as he stood there confidently. It was only they the quick action of his ally Firefly that he wasn't killed on the spot. The two tumbled to the ground as Firefly shot another burst of whatever at Mire, burning another hole in her. "I think it's time to leave," he muttered to Swarm as he pulled the man to his feet.

It was then that an arrow flew through from the roof, slamming into Mire's head hard enough that it might as well have been a brick. Curiously, however, was the fact that it didn't penetrate. At all. It just hit her full on.

That was when the woman stepped forward, slowly extending her wings and flapping, hard. Mire's gas that had managed to get around Swarm was blown back and away temporarily, leaving Swarm and Firefly practically blind outside of their little bubble of safety.

Speaking of the gas, it seemed that it was beginning to push out through the front doors...

@Lemonzest1337@Yoshua171
(Open invitation to Independents to get involved)
Chapter Three: The City
As Sylph was pushed quickly through the window, she had a split second to get her bearings before that maniacal laughing hit her ears. Exiting the room, which seemed to be a bedroom if she bothered to look, she entered a sparsely decorated living room. Across from her, beating on a closet door, was her target.

As she looked at him, she felt something shift in her. (Insert permanent nervous twitch here). She pushed through it, however, shooting a blast of air at him that practically flattened him against the door. He turned, looking straight at her, before he abandoned the door in favor of her.

"LOOK. AT. ME." he commanded. Behind him, the closet door had a hole from where he'd attacked it, and Sylph could just barely see a small child in the arms of a teenager. The young woman had her eyes screwed shut, tears streaming down her face, as she held the crying baby to her chest keeping it from looking at the villain. Sylph had less than seconds to act before he would be on her.

Sofia Stien - The Airport

Sofia let out a noise of surprise as Allay picked her up and began running for it. A quick glance around and several screams indicated that more bombs were dropping in the airport. "Ahh, what do we do?" Sofia asked quietly as she was carried away, potentially still holding onto Chatterhead if he was keeping up with Ally. She couldn't really do anything to help deal with the bombs. Maybe if everyone grouped on her she could keep them safe? The collateral on the other hand, was something she entirely couldn't manage. This wasn't fair!

Metanoia nodded as the friendly cape told her what she knew about the villains. She committed the information to memory, though she wasn’t sure what she’d be able to do with the information.

“Thank you, but all I did was allow the other cape to pummel me,” Metanoia said, chuckling. “Nice to meet you, Abbadon.”

Metanoia didn’t even flinch as the angelic cape’s hand fell apart. Instead, she leaned forward slightly to examine the phenomenon closely, it being another demonstration of logic-defying cape powers.

“No need to apologize,” Metanoia said. “It’s quite interesting, actually, and it makes me curious about how your biology works.” She raised her hands. “I don’t mean to pry, of course.”

Metanoia turned to scan the streets again. “So what shall we do now? Or, rather, what do you usually do after fights? I’d like to avoid drawing attention so I can find some privacy to get out of costume, but I unfortunately shredded my clothing in my rush to join the fight…”

Raymond Haywood: The Airport

Hrm. Okay, then. He knew the first one was destroyed with just a single round, and the extras were needless... he had plenty left in his rifle...

Target: Unknown devices. Destroy explosive trigger as primary target, destroy other major components as secondary targets, do not detonate. Move to each in sequence they are dropped. Shoot. Shoot. Shoot.

He scoped out just long enough to mutter ‘He’s coming out of his portals in sequence. Get him when he comes out of the next one,’ before scoping back in to shoot down another bomb. And they said guns were a bad thing in the world of parahumans.

Chatterbox
Theme

A single crisis averted only for another to reveal itself. Initially relieved, Chatterbox ceased his fleeing, only to realize that his various minions and thralls—some barely in his control, and others getting closer to being bonefide fans—were quite in danger.

"Scatter!" He yelled vigorously through comms to them, and the meaning in his voice—carried through the hall as well as to them via comms—had them getting as far away from the explosives as possible. Then shots went off and Headhunter contacted him. He narrowed his eyes. "Thunderbolt, Whimsy, team-up and get closer to his point of entry!" As he said it he utilized tapcode to notify some of his pawns to organize themselves at set intervals and attempt to tackle the tinker as he appeared. They had instructions to get off and away as swiftly as possible once they'd tackled him.

"We're taking this bastard down," he uttered through gritted teeth. "Hunter, be ready to line up a shot. Make the phrasing in your mind beforehand. I'll give the signal. You attach that thought process to the target as soon as they appear. Include avoidance measures for my thralls. Non-lethal if you must hit them."

He waited, and then...as soon as the Doctor appeared he signalled, "Now!"

Evelyn Chambers – Tulpa

Letting out a breath as their maneuver turned out more or less successful, Evelyn found herself gritting her teeth and inhaling sharply as the feedback from her projection taking damage hit her. She shuddered and clutched at her head, but still the projection moved, unhindered by her distraction, its directives already in place. The aura had expanded around its body, crackling dangerously as it kept itself between the Wards and Protean.

The hole in its chest swirled and closed rapidly, arms collapsed into its body, only for four to reform in an instant. Evelyn managed a single command through her headache and as a result tar shot from where the hole in its chest had once been, firing at Mastar.

"Catch!" Evelyn managed through comms even as her head throbbed. She'd lost count of her projection's timer as well. Luckily it hadn't been active anywhere near five minutes just yet. This in mind she urged it to act, anger and pain egging it on as it took a step forwards with clawed feet digging into the ground before it suddenly dropped to all six limbs and its aura violently burned and chewed away at the ground before snapping back inwards. It expanded somewhat, then loped forwards, taking the rough form of something lupine, though with less of a head, whereas it also had six limbs and sharp barbs instead of fur bristling across its body.

"Messiah, hit it!" The projection kept its pace at Protean, making sure that two of three of its limbs—at all times—had claws dug into the floor. It would be much harder to blow away this time. If it got on Protean it would expand—rapidly—and then attempt to envelop him.

Around this time, the shots from Tiger Lily would go off and the confoam grenade would likely erupt nearby. Perhaps the projection and foam together would contain the traitor.

Swarm glanced back and forth. On one side was a morphing gaseous parahuman, and on the other was a winged friend. The gas one was impervious to his physical attacks, but he had little information on the winged one. Swarm moved with his barrier toward the exit, taking Firefly along. He made sure to keep his barrier up, pushing the excess gas out of the way. For whatever reason, he felt the winged one was on their side.
