Guin Stark
Location: First Floor - Front Entrance
Skills: Archery
"We'll talk later about the adoption forms!" Guin called out to Danger as the robot walked away. She didn't care that the robot had called her strange - sure, if someone else had she would have punched them or convinced Pietro to do so. However, Danger was a million times cooler than most of the people that had insulted her in her lifetime and since Guin wanted the robot to adopt her, she figured she would give the artificial intelligence a pass. Besides, her actual mother insulted her plenty so she was used to it.
Turning her attention to her boyfriend, Guin rolled her eyes. She didn't like it when he told her to stay away from the fighting. Sure, she had some PTSD from the O.M.E.N. mission and yes, she still saw Muscles dying when she closed her eyes... but after taking out Dean and saving Richard, she felt better than she had in months. Guin was able to believe in herself again, to believe that even though she arguably had the lamest powers on the team, she didn't need to use them in order to help people. "If you had your way, I'd never go on missions with the team," she pointed out to him.
She got an idea, however, as she looked outside where Mary and the others were, where Danger had gone. "Hold on one second..." she told him, taking an inhibitor and attaching it to her arrow. She then went up to the exit and aimed her bow, looking to hit Mary since she seemed to be the one being controlled at the moment. Drawing back the bowstring, Guin released the arrow and it seemed to be about to hit Mary, until the plant manipulator knocked it out of the way with a vine. "Damn it..." she cursed. They didn't have a lot of these to spare. She took the rest of them and handed them to Pietro. "Be careful, okay? I-I can't lose you."
"I'll be fine Guina, don't worry."
"Alright. Mary seems to be giving them the most trouble, so maybe hit her first..." Guin bit her lip slightly. She didn't like the idea of Pietro going back into the fray. She didn't want him to get hurt.
"Yeah, seems like it... Figured going after her would make sense, considering she is holding a lot of people off by herself..."
She nodded, knowing that Mary likely was finally using her full strength. A lot of people with powers and good intentions tended to hold back, that way no one would get too seriously injured. "Good luck."
"...Yeah, feel like I might need it at this point..." he said, giving her a bit of a smile.
Guin hesitated for a moment, before she threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly. She really wanted Pietro to go downstairs and be safe. Or for him to run away from the Mansion and be away from all of this violence. If he died, Guin knew that she would survive - but she wouldn't really be living.
"It'll be okay Guina, don't worry," he said, smiling at her before he gave her a kiss.
Dean Kesseli
Location: First Sub Basement - Operating Theater
Skills: N/A
Dean woke up screaming. There was a blinding light and his hand felt warm - way too warm. As he slowly moved his fingers where he could see them, he saw that his hand was caked with blood. It wasn't dry yet, either. It was moist and as his fingers moved, he could tell that it was slippery. The entire sensation made the wannabe speedster want to vomit and he shut his eyes, trying desperately to go back into the blackness of unconsciousness. He regretted staying behind to join the team full time. He should have left when he graduated high school. He should have left after prom.
"Richard, man, I'm.... I'm so sorry," Dean stammered, remembering that the blood on his hand belonged to his friend. He liked Richard. The memories flashed back and they were so vivid. He had ripped Richard's kidney out. He had tried to do it again. He was going to torture his friend if the Stark girl hadn't stopped him. Dean's eyes darted down and he saw the wounds from the ice. It felt like it was burning, like his flesh was on fire even though it was just cold - a speedster's weakness. Dean's head felt like it was spinning as he caught a sight of Beast.
"B-B-Beast... C-can you call my parents and have them come pick me up?" Dean asked, feeling small and scared. His hands were shaking and he couldn't stop looking at the blood that covered them. He wanted to go home, to see his baby sister and run away from this.
Neil Spellman
Location: First Floor - Formal Sitting Room -> Outside/Patio
Skills: Telekinesis
Neil saw that there was a new person in the room - not a girl he recognized, but it was a big Mansion so he might have just not met her yet. However, she seemed to be saying something - either that or just moving her mouth for no reason - and he hoped it wasn't anything too important. Well, he knew that for this mission, it wouldn't be. He had a job to do, hearing intact or hearing completely busted it didn't matter. The girl was holding a hammer though, meaning that she was likely there to fight them. And that was fine by Neil.
But before he could do anything, Allison showed up and threw them all out the window using her telekinesis. If he thought he had been in pain before, it was nothing compared to how much the impact with the ground hurt. His head was still ringing as Neil tried to push himself off of the ground and to his feet. He felt incredibly shaky, but he managed to do so, coughing as he looked at what was going on. Almost everyone was out here, including some of the old X-Men.
For what he wanted to do, Ayita was in the way but Mesmero wasn't controlling him and forcing him to care about others that were controlled. He just had a job to do. Fortunately for Ayita, as Neil tried to destroy Cyclops' visor and unleash that ruby beam without control, he failed miserably. His head was spinning and he was barely standing. Neil reached out his hands, trying one more time to destroy Cyclops' helmet. Instead, his vision went dark and Neil collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
