Guin Stark

Location: First Floor - Front Entrance
Skills: Archery

"We'll talk later about the adoption forms!" Guin called out to Danger as the robot walked away. She didn't care that the robot had called her strange - sure, if someone else had she would have punched them or convinced Pietro to do so. However, Danger was a million times cooler than most of the people that had insulted her in her lifetime and since Guin wanted the robot to adopt her, she figured she would give the artificial intelligence a pass. Besides, her actual mother insulted her plenty so she was used to it.

Turning her attention to her boyfriend, Guin rolled her eyes. She didn't like it when he told her to stay away from the fighting. Sure, she had some PTSD from the O.M.E.N. mission and yes, she still saw Muscles dying when she closed her eyes... but after taking out Dean and saving Richard, she felt better than she had in months. Guin was able to believe in herself again, to believe that even though she arguably had the lamest powers on the team, she didn't need to use them in order to help people. "If you had your way, I'd never go on missions with the team," she pointed out to him.

She got an idea, however, as she looked outside where Mary and the others were, where Danger had gone. "Hold on one second..." she told him, taking an inhibitor and attaching it to her arrow. She then went up to the exit and aimed her bow, looking to hit Mary since she seemed to be the one being controlled at the moment. Drawing back the bowstring, Guin released the arrow and it seemed to be about to hit Mary, until the plant manipulator knocked it out of the way with a vine. "Damn it..." she cursed. They didn't have a lot of these to spare. She took the rest of them and handed them to Pietro. "Be careful, okay? I-I can't lose you."

"I'll be fine Guina, don't worry."

"Alright. Mary seems to be giving them the most trouble, so maybe hit her first..." Guin bit her lip slightly. She didn't like the idea of Pietro going back into the fray. She didn't want him to get hurt.

"Yeah, seems like it... Figured going after her would make sense, considering she is holding a lot of people off by herself..."

She nodded, knowing that Mary likely was finally using her full strength. A lot of people with powers and good intentions tended to hold back, that way no one would get too seriously injured. "Good luck."

"...Yeah, feel like I might need it at this point..." he said, giving her a bit of a smile.

Guin hesitated for a moment, before she threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly. She really wanted Pietro to go downstairs and be safe. Or for him to run away from the Mansion and be away from all of this violence. If he died, Guin knew that she would survive - but she wouldn't really be living.

"It'll be okay Guina, don't worry," he said, smiling at her before he gave her a kiss.

Dean Kesseli

Location: First Sub Basement - Operating Theater
Skills: N/A

Dean woke up screaming. There was a blinding light and his hand felt warm - way too warm. As he slowly moved his fingers where he could see them, he saw that his hand was caked with blood. It wasn't dry yet, either. It was moist and as his fingers moved, he could tell that it was slippery. The entire sensation made the wannabe speedster want to vomit and he shut his eyes, trying desperately to go back into the blackness of unconsciousness. He regretted staying behind to join the team full time. He should have left when he graduated high school. He should have left after prom.

"Richard, man, I'm.... I'm so sorry," Dean stammered, remembering that the blood on his hand belonged to his friend. He liked Richard. The memories flashed back and they were so vivid. He had ripped Richard's kidney out. He had tried to do it again. He was going to torture his friend if the Stark girl hadn't stopped him. Dean's eyes darted down and he saw the wounds from the ice. It felt like it was burning, like his flesh was on fire even though it was just cold - a speedster's weakness. Dean's head felt like it was spinning as he caught a sight of Beast.

"B-B-Beast... C-can you call my parents and have them come pick me up?" Dean asked, feeling small and scared. His hands were shaking and he couldn't stop looking at the blood that covered them. He wanted to go home, to see his baby sister and run away from this.

Neil Spellman

Location: First Floor - Formal Sitting Room -> Outside/Patio
Skills: Telekinesis

Neil saw that there was a new person in the room - not a girl he recognized, but it was a big Mansion so he might have just not met her yet. However, she seemed to be saying something - either that or just moving her mouth for no reason - and he hoped it wasn't anything too important. Well, he knew that for this mission, it wouldn't be. He had a job to do, hearing intact or hearing completely busted it didn't matter. The girl was holding a hammer though, meaning that she was likely there to fight them. And that was fine by Neil.

But before he could do anything, Allison showed up and threw them all out the window using her telekinesis. If he thought he had been in pain before, it was nothing compared to how much the impact with the ground hurt. His head was still ringing as Neil tried to push himself off of the ground and to his feet. He felt incredibly shaky, but he managed to do so, coughing as he looked at what was going on. Almost everyone was out here, including some of the old X-Men.

For what he wanted to do, Ayita was in the way but Mesmero wasn't controlling him and forcing him to care about others that were controlled. He just had a job to do. Fortunately for Ayita, as Neil tried to destroy Cyclops' visor and unleash that ruby beam without control, he failed miserably. His head was spinning and he was barely standing. Neil reached out his hands, trying one more time to destroy Cyclops' helmet. Instead, his vision went dark and Neil collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

Carolina Reed

Location: Elevator
Skills: N/A

Carolina was feeling completely nauseous, and dizzy as well as she did her best to keep her head up a bit she used Storm to support herself a bit. She was really confused what was going on around her as she looked around, it took her a bit to register that she was now in the elevator now. "I don't feel good right now.." Carolina said softly as she broke away from Storm and leaned forward, and started to vomit onto the ground of the elevator. All of the things she had eaten earlier in the evening, the pizza, the float and the soda as well, she whipped away the mess with her sleeve with a shaky hand.

Carolina then started to lose her balance and stumbled onto the floor, her head started to ring badly and her vision blurred a lot as she tried to focus a bit, but she couldn't right now at all. "Whats going on and happening?" Carolina really was confused right now as she tried to stand up again, but fell back down again letting out a slight sigh and tried to take in a few deep breaths. She really wanted to just lay down and rest.

Bethany Bell
[

Location: Formal Sitting Room -> Patio
Skills: N/A

Bethany tried to get up again as she noticed both Allison and the new girl from earlier coming into the room, as she just glared at the two of them. Her entire body was still in a lot of pain, but she wanted to really hurt these two right now, only for her to be flung outside by Allison. As she groaned a bit landing on her back outside on the patio, she slowly started to roll back onto her feet and started to look around the yard. She was outside in the dark which usually was where she enjoyed being in and was also so much easier for her to use her ability as well.

Bethany then spotted Jean and Cyclopes on the other end of the yard, having some trouble with Ayita by the looks of it which was a bit entertaining to watch the cat clawing up his leg. They seemed to be distracted for the moment right now, as she tried to use her powers, against the two of them. Only to see that they aren't working right now at all either which made her groan, maybe she should head back inside and try and hunt down Annie and Carolina again as well.

Richard Laine

Location: Sub-Basement - Operating Theater

Richard's scaled head rose as he heard a cracking voice whisper into the room. Stretching out on the table, he slowly felt his body shifting back to human form and damn did it hurt. For all his fortitude Richard couldn't help but wince with a hissing intake of breathe. Having a kidney ripped out, took some of the fight out too. Casting an arm over his eyes in an attempt to focus on the blackness, Richard wished he had Ayita's skill with shifting. That seamless taking of forms. Oh, he envied it.

Glancing over at the shaking Dean as the boy stared at his hands, the Adder snorted in faux amusement. "You got pissed Puppy, plus from what I understand something got into your head." Shrugging absently, Richard winced as he pulled some pieces of himself that were not quite done healing. If it had just been Dean loosing his cool, oh hell yes Richard would have held it against the boy. But a funny tickle in the mind? That was another matter. "Though... Marygold I plan to have words with. Mind controlled or no." His mouth thinned to a dangerous line. "Bitch stabbed Ayita verbally where no one deserves it. My sister made a call about Lizzie's death- yes, that's who Wonderland was. She made a call and is paying the price."

Sighing Richard cast his snake eyes over at Dean with a apologetic look. "I am sorry about not telling you about Max, but I had nothing to really tell you besides the basic information. Worse, Ayita killed Lizzie, I was still with the Brotherhood then and didn't know she- Ayita- was who she was." Running his hand through his dark hair, the assassin sighed. "You got a little sister, correct? You'd do anything to protect her even from the judgement of others?" Arching a brow Richard lowered his arm over his head again. "I don't blame you, Dean. I fucked up not telling you, but I did so to protect Ayita. Getting my kidney ripped out seems just in that sense. Beats getting my arm blown off again." And he still wouldn't have told the boy, not at the cost it would put on Ayita. "You have a problem with those facts take it up with me. I could have stopped it." And he should have.

Ayita Dyrkin

Location: Outside(First Floor)

The cat snarled, her fur bristling. These hunters! These judges of her as though they were better! She was just as good! Perhaps she didn't think like they did, but that just made her better! Though as her yellow eyes snapped about looking for some way out of this situation, Ayita felt her heart thunder to a stop as she peered into the gloom of the formal sitting room. Allison! A ally against these wretched hunters! Giving a yowl of delight and a call to battle, Ayita paused as she noticed another figure being hurled away from her friend. Which only meant one thing...

Something in her mind slipped and brushed away the cobwebs of anger and rage. Pulling those emotions away, she reorganized her thoughts in short order. These people were not her enemies. Though the girl, Shelly was it?, was debatable. A snarl that echoed through the night and came from human lips as Ayita shifted back. Her amber eyes gleaming. "Have your mate put his visor away, Mind-Sister. My mind is my own again, and whoever trod within shall pay dearly." Ayita sent in a rolling wave of assurance to Scott and Jean. Though well aware and careful as she did have two lasers pointed at her, Ayita sent a spearing thought to Allison keeping Jean also on the broadcast wave. "Allison, my mind is my own. Who has done this? Who threatens my mate and I?" A fleeting feeling of deep passion and love flickered towards her best friend and her mate though at different levels. Underneath was a rage that burned slow and methodical thought. This was a threat to Ayita's family and those she considered thus, the perpetrator would meet their fate and the end of her weapons.

Turning her gaze to Shelly, Ayita cocked her head with narrow eyes. "I am alone in my mind again. For what I did, I am in part sorry. Though I would advise you do not insult my family again." Turning her gaze to Scott, Ayita kept her movements slow and wary. Mistrust plain in her eyes. "I did not harm you overly much?" For all her fury before, Ayita's voice was soft and there was a strain of fear to her voice. "Then may I move again without being blasted? It makes my hide ache."

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Operating Theater -- First Sub-Basement
Skills:

Once Beast addressed Antoinette and Mira, she relaxed a bit and the rest of the room came into focus. Richard was here, as was Dean, and a woman but she wasn’t quite a woman was she? Due to Antoinette having been focused on Beast when she entered the operating theater, she heard his explanation as to who this woman was. The Danger Room was real? Well, as real as the woman made of wires could be. How fascinating this place truly was.
Antoinette was looking at the woman dreamily as she left when Beast addressed her specifically. He led her over to a bed without much protesting from her and sat down. He was gentle as he fixed her injuries and she smiled up at the gentle giant. He honestly was a big, blue teddy bear and full of such knowledge.
”I could feel it. The otherness of those who were affected. I’m not sure if it just wanted to stir up tensions or if it was searching for something,” Antoinette mused. She thought over her theory as Beast walked away, going to check on Richard and Dean. There seemed to be a lot of blood around them but there was a lot of blood all over this room.
Antoinette looked around, feeling she should go back upstairs to check on Carolina but Storm had her. Her eyes landed on a very still, very pale figure and her eyes widened. She got off her bed, ignoring Beast’s earlier words to rest and walked over to Lance. He was still breathing thankfully but it was sparse. She examined his head injury and the blood loss and frowned. Why wasn’t he getting a blood transfusion? All the equipment for it was around him. Vaguely, Antoinette remembered when Beast did the check up on her when she first arrived to the mansion and had her blood taken. She wasn’t a universal donor but she had a pretty common blood type that did work for most people, perhaps it would work for Lance.
”Beast, what is Lance’s blood type? Perhaps we can use me?” She moved her arm, exposing the soft side where all the veins were easily seen. She pulled her eyes from Lance and looked at Beast. ”You see, we have a movie date and I would very much like to go.”

Michelle "Shelly" Diggby

Location: Patio
Skills: N/A

Much to Shelly's relief, Ayita had appeared to change tact, a decision that only scored her some minor scratches on the dude, ultimately resulting in her being suspended in thin air. Shelly would had relaxed, had she not been aware she was no longer the sole spectator. Shelly watched as a black figure recover from her own defenestration. Friend or foe? Foe didn't sound good, Shelly knew nothing about her and what she could do, it could have been glitter or instant death or something simply beyond comprehension, much like her own. Shelly assumed the worst, it was one of the dangerous powers that was making indoors sound like a pyrotechnic thunderstorm shreikfest. In Shelly's condition it was probably best to not engage, the new girl didn't seem too interested in herself and Shelly had enough individual attention for the time being.

The gravity defying child finally returned a form that could communicate, distracting Shelly. She apologising 'in part', which took Shelly somewhat by surprise. She fully expected no apology for her bloody scalp and broken ribs whatsoever, and not just because of Ayita's demeanour but because as far as Shelly understood, Ayita wasn't even responsible. It was tough to put aside the feelings the hurt and violation, but they were sated somewhat by Ayita's atonement and seeing Ayita helplessly hovering Shelly couldn't help but softly smile through the soreness. She forgave her, she had forgiven her ages ago. If saying sorry was building bridges, her advice was trying to establish boundries, boundries Shelly was going to cross whether either of them wanted her to or not. Now was not the time for a nuanced conversation the root of her vulgarity or about what limits Shelly wasn't going to accept on her speech. It was said and meant honestly, it certainly wasn't posturing, and didn't even seem particularly mean spirited, just some honest advice, girl to girl, and as such it deserved a simple, honest response.

"That means a lot to me, thanks Ayita." Shelly wiped a drip of sweat and blood from her forehead, "I'm sorry too."

Shelly's attention returned to the second mysterious stranger, she still didn't want to get involved, but she'd have to get past get her head checked out. Walking round to the front sounded like a good idea now Ayita wasn't stalking in the deep dark but strength in numbers was hard to argue with.

Allison Andrews and Sara Grey

Location: Formal Sitting Room -> Outside

Allison immediately panicked as she raced to follow the three she chucked out of the room. Once she saw they were alive and, more or less, ok, she hopped out. Ayita and the other new person was there, along with Scott and Jean Grey. Neil had passed out and Sara and Bethany looked like they were on the verge of. She checked to see if Bobbi and the Professor followed her out before she explained the situation.

"From what the professor told us, Mesmero has taken control of some of the people here. He has used that control to attack the others, as we just saw. I believe Neil, Sara, and Bethany have been controlled along with who knows how many others. In order to prevent this, the professor needs to use his powers. We came looking for Jean as she can also help."

Sara's head felt hard and poundy as she listened to Allison (although having a rough time with that due to Mira). However, she knew she was no longer controlled. And knowing how she nearly killed Mira and the others, she felt immensely guilty. "She's right. I felt him inside. He's gone now though. I am not controlled. And I am going to help." She faced her aunt and tried to copy her powers. She ended up doing so, but Jean's powers have always been strong. She could hear the thoughts of everyone around her, which did not help with her headache.

She ran to Neil. "I'm going to try to help him, if you want to help me Aunt Jean. The professor can take Bethany." She tried to enter Neil's mind, but found a force fighting back. It was strong in its grip. She could not break free. She would need aid. "It's difficult..I need help..."

Location: Outside of the Mansion

Bobbi watched the younger girl approach the slightly older girl. There was a bit of an altercation. Obviously, the younger of the two was possessed by Memory Zero guy. Something something, blah blah, you suck and I am cooler and fuck the system, blah blah... And all of a sudden people were flung through the broken window. Bobbi whistled in appreciation. "Tell me your powers are nothing again," she teased with her lopsided grin. She soon followed Allison out of the window into utterly new chaos. Girl with vines, power beams blasting, and a freaking panther thing.

She had half a mind to just hop back on her bike and get out of this stupid, crazy shit. But then she saw Wolverine and heard the young girl, called Sara though Bobbi did not know it, ask for help. She was so distressed. It triggered something in her gut. No, she did not know the girl, nor did she understand what was causing her distress. Bobbi just knew that with the stress, the confusion, and the chaos of it all, she was about to hit the next thing that approached Sara or Allison. Or perhaps poor Neil would be the person to receive the smashing end of her hammer. This was all much too intense for her to understand, coming from absolutely no knowledge of these people or their previous battles. She was running on pure instinct and adrenaline now.

@LadyRunic@KazAlkemi@Morose@Nallore "Unfortunately Ms. McCarthy, you are unable to act as a blood donor even if you are the same blood type as him, as it would be detrimental to your own well being. Any sort of injury that causes even a little bit of blood loss can prove problematic if that person ends up going to be a blood donor. Ms. Stark called someone who she knew had the same blood type. Hopefully they should be here shortly, as I do not think there are very many people here who would be able to be a blood donor at this rate..."

Storm looked at Carolina, knowing that odds were that she had a severe head injury, hopefully there wasn't going to be any serious problems long term because of this, but from what she could tell it wasn't very likely. She was mostly carrying Carolina at this point, but eventually she managed to get Carolina into the medical area, and over onto a bed. Beast instantly went over to Carolina, starting to set to work bandaging up her head, but he knew that she likely would need a blood transfusion too at this rate.

Over in his bed, Lance's eyes opened, but they looked to be seriously unfocused, they were almost twitching in different directions, but he wasn't really seeing anything. "What happened?" he managed to mutter out, before his eyes closed again.

@FantasyChic@Nallore@Morose@eclecticwitch@LadyRunic@ColouredCyan "Scott, stand down, she's back to normal now..." Jean said softly, putting a hand on his shoulder and nodding her head towards Ayita.

"Yeah, but she's not," he said, knowing perfectly well what Bethany had tried to do and he blasted her with his powers. With the injuries she had gotten before, it was enough to finally knock Bethany down for the count.

Jean glanced over at Sara, having recognized what she had been attempting to do, and she couldn't help but smile at her niece attempting to use her own powers to help out. "Allow me Sara," she said simply, before she knelt down next to Neil, putting a hand to her head and looking right at him. Feeling the resistance that was Mesmero's control, she wasn't surprised that Sara had been having trouble. Mesmero was a powerful telepath, and he could mess with the heads of a lot of people. After a moment, between the two of them, Neil was freed from Mesmero's control. "We'll need to get everyone down to medical... Looks like a lot of you took a bit of a beating, aside from you two, probably in better shape than just about everyone here if there was more fighting going around elsewhere..." she said, looking over at Allison and Bobbi.

Marygold Isley

Location: Mansion Front Garden (Outside)

Pietro took the inhibitors from Guin, and took off towards Mary, figuring that if he went fast enough, she couldn't hit him. How wrong he was about that. The instant he got within a few feet of Mary, she managed to have a vine wrap around his ankle and he tripped, falling head first into the ground. "Too slow there Speedy," Mary said with a smirk. It was a bit pathetic in her mind, what idiot thought that just charging in was a good idea?

"Damn it that hurt..." Pietro muttered as he stood up off of the ground, even with his accelerated healing, his body was not doing the best from injuries he obtained before from the fighting in the sitting room. He definitely was not having the best of times when it came to fighting it would seem.

Wolverine charged at Mary now, as did Danger, but she was keeping them back with her powers, there was one person she hadn't been paying much attention to, and that was Rogue. She'd been fairly quiet up until that point, but now she swooped in from the air, and landed right next to Mary and grabbed her arm. "Let go of me!" Mary snapped, trying to break free.

"Yeah, that ain't happening," Rogue said as she grabbed Mary's arm with her other hand, which just so happened to not have a glove on at the moment. After a moment, Mary collapsed completely and Rogue caught her easily.

"Nice catch mon amie!"

"Yeah, well hopefully now we can figure out what the hell is goin' on round here."

"Danger, are there any other fights goin' on that we should know about?"

"There was one out in the backyard, and another that was in the central room, however both seem to have concluded now."

"Thank ya, chère. Ma colombe.... We oughta get Goldie down to medical." Rogue nodded her head, before she carried Mary inside of the mansion, the others followed along behind her.

Pietro wandered over to where Guin was, before he looked over as a car pulled up to the mansion, and Guin would easily be able to identify it as her father's car. Tony stepped out and walked over to Guin, "Guin, what the hell happened to you?" he asked instantly, noticing the bandage on her head.

"Where the hell is my son?!" Banner snapped, looking a little green. Pietro jumped back slightly at his sudden snapping at her.

Guin Stark

Location: First Floor - Front Entrance
Skills: N/A

Guin felt a bit relieved to see her dad pull up in his mustang. It was even better to see that Dr. Banner was with him, since Lance needed medical attention. Even without the X-gene, Lance's genetic make up could be considered special from what Guin understood. "I'm fine, Daddy, just hit my head," she told Tony softly. She moved a bit closer to Pietro.

"What the hell sort of craziness has been going on around here anyway Guin? You just sent us a message without even saying what the hell was happening! Not to mention any sort of head injury can be worse than it seems, you know that."

"You know that trope where they can't think of what to do in the next movie, so they have the good guys get mind controlled?" Guin prefaced. "That's what happened."

"Guinevere, tell me where Lance is NOW!"

Pietro jumped slightly at Banner's yelling. "Uh, Guina? Maybe we should tell him where Lance is..."

"...I hate a lot of those types of movies, they seem dumb if you ask me that... But you're kidding right? Mind control? That's a bit messed up, not going to lie..."

"He's downstairs, operating room," Guin said and Banner shoved her aside, heading into the Mansion and running down the stairs as fast as he could. He wasn't going to let his son die and every second mattered in a situation like this. She let out a slight sigh of relief that he hadn't turned green, though Guin had stumbled slightly from being shoved out of the way.

"...Well, honestly was a bit surprised that he actually didn't Hulk out the entire car ride. He actually was yelling at me to drive faster, this being after we spent time trying to see if there was any blood on hand that was Lance's blood type, unfortunately, we didn't find any... So yeah... Anyway Guin you should get down to the medical area and get that head of yours looked at."

Guin rolled her eyes slightly at her father's insistence she get her head looked at. "I'm fine, Daddy. No need to worry about me okay?" she said, crossing her arms slightly. "Ask Pietro. I'm totally fine. He'd be freaked out if there was a chance I wasn't."

"Actually I am freaking out just was keeping quiet about it..." Pietro muttered.

"Seriously?" Guin sighed.

"Yes really Guina... I was mainly keeping quiet since your dad showed up and Banner was freaking me out a little bit..."

She knew that her father and boyfriend were both overprotective, but it was a bit annoying. There were people down in medical who needed actual help and they wanted her to take up some of Beast's time to look at a minor head injury. It just struck her as selfish. "I'm fine. There are others who need medical now more than I do. Also Piet you hit your head too and I don't see you running to medical for it."

"Yeah, but I also heal about 100 times quicker than you do..."

"Only 100 times faster?" Guin smirked slightly at Pietro, putting a hand on his abs lightly.

Tony rolled his eyes slightly at the pair, and Pietro winced slightly. Guin would be able to tell that there was an electrical burn of sorts on his body. "Piet, let's get you to medical...You've covered in burns." Guin bit her lip slightly, looking him over.

"I'm fine Guina..."

"Well," Guin gave him a soft kiss. "I'm not getting my head looked at until you get looked at too, mister." Speedster or not, he was definitely in worse shape than she was. Accelerated healing could only do so much.

"Guina... I'm fine, perfectly fine, don't worry..."

"Nope. Now come on, you are going to have Beast take a look at you or no more kisses and Star Trek!"

"Really Guina? Rude..."

Dean Kesseli

Location: First Sub Basement - Operating Theater
Skills: N/A

Dean stared at Richard, unable to tell if he was messing with him or not. The chuckle, the way he was acting... it all put Dean on edge and the poor thing was already dangerous close to snapping. He felt like vomiting with each breath he took, his hands trembling and he couldn't help but continuously look back at them, as if the blood would somehow magically disappear if he looked away for just a second. Then Richard started to explain things about Max - his biological sister - and Dean was disgusted. He just wasn't certain if he was disgusted with Richard or himself. "I wouldn't put other people in danger to do it - innocent people," Dean said softly.

He then looked at his bloody hands again. Hearing Richard's vain excuses for why he withheld information about Dean's sister - information that could have helped him find his sister. Max could be in real trouble. She could be dead. Dean tore his gaze away from his hands for a second, looking at Richard again. He knew that he ought to feel angry. He knew that he did feel guilty for ripping out his kidney like that. He also felt pity.

The door then opened as Dr. Bruce Banner came into medical. "Buddy? Buddy!" He then quickly went over to Lance, grabbing various pieces of equipment and he got to work. It was lucky and unlucky that he was the same blood type as Lance - but they didn't have a choice.

Carolina didn't protest to much when Storm went over and picked her up, her head was really pounding and every little movement that was made would make her feel like she wanted to vomit again. But she kept it down and just closed her eyes as tightly as she could to try and get rid of the pain and nauseous feeling. Carolina was then brought into the little medical ward that was in the mansion, and brought over towards the nearest bed. Carolina looked around the room as she was laid down on the bed, seeing that there were a lot of others in the room.

Carolina started to try and push away Beast's arms away from her weakly, she was getting a bit agitated and annoyed while groaning loudly. "I'm fine." Carolina said sounding annoyed and agitated right now she didn't want to be poked and prodded with needles either, though she wasn't at all fine as her eyes tried to adjust one pupil was dilated while the other wasn't really.

Bethany watched as Ayita started to calm down and wasn't being controlled anymore, she wanted to send them all flying as well, she watched Neil for a moment, he was down for the count now by the looks of it. Which only left her to try and attack again, but Scott spoke and turned his full attention to her. She was doing whatever she could to stay conscious and was about to try and attack again, only for her to feel a sudden hit to her chest as she was hit by Cyclopes' eye blast which caused her to go flying.

Bethany landed hard on her back, groaning loudly as she hit the ground rather hard, as her head started to feel like it was spinning, she finally just lost consciousness and her entire body fell limp on the ground. Everywhere was still in a lot of pain and she just wanted to go back and sleep now as well.

"Shit happened. A lot of shit." Richard groaned as he considered Dean. There was nothing he could do for the lad, beside admit his own faults and tell the truth. It was the least he owed Dean for keeping the information about his sister from him. If it was him, Richard could well understand the anger that was most likely being directed his way. Heck, he shared it when his mother had cast out Ayita. So he couldn't really say anything to help Dean with the boy's crisis without sounding like a sanctimonious ass.

Laying back against the table, the Adder winced as Bruce came bustling into the room and over to Lance. A father's worry for his son obvious. If he could have stood, he would have gone to find his sister and help her the best he could. Getting a kidney ripped out of him however was a bit more than painful. Keeping him down for the time being. "Anyone knows what is going on above?" The former assassin groaned, needing to know what was happening despite his invalid status.

Ayita Dyrkin

Location: Outside(First Floor)

"Mesmero." Ayita's eyes were gleaming in the darkness as she let loose a far less than human growl. This man had enter her mind without a care, and had unleashed the instincts of those within upon humans that did not deserve the rage she carried within herself. This man had threatened her brother with his actions not to mention Allison and Guin. Shaking her dark head slowly, Ayita gave a snarling roar. The hunt would be on and may the earth itself defend Mesmero for not even that would halt the wild woman. This man had threatened a future she had carved for herself and that was not something Ayita would premit. "Guin," Reaching out carefully with her mind, well aware of the prior attack and the possible repercussions. She gently 'knocked' against the younger Stark's mind, keeping her thoughts light. A merest of brushes. "Brother is fine? Your mate needs medical aid, Sister." Though her mind didn't not have a sense of 'her' brother but a shared sense that Richard was kin to them both. A effect of the man treating Guin just as he would Ayita but with a bit more care. For whether the Stark wished it or not... She was one of them per Richard's decree.

There was a crack as Ayita shifted into the form of a snowy owl and swooped into the air with a screeching war cry. It could be nothing else. For this was a rage Ayita so rarely felt, but her mate and pack had been threatened and all her being agreed that this must be answered. To the end of the threat. Beating the white wings, Ayita rose up through the air and reached her room's window. Her body sore but it was pain she pushed to the side as she worked the window open after shifting back to human form. Stripping quickly of her clothing, Ayita snatched the leather coat and vest, along with other such she wore while in the north. Outlandish garb but it held up and was easily repaired out in the wilds. Her quiver and bow were on her back as she hooked them in place. A small pouch she strung to her waist with spare bits and bobs for bow string and arrow heads. If she could get a scent article of this man, she would hunt him that way as well.

There would be no dawn for Mesmero. Marygold looked down at her for her predatory ways, but this was more than being the 'bigger person'. Ayita agreed and tried not to kill as she did not enjoy it, no matter what their 'leader' said. No longer her 'leader'. This man had struck something inside the shifter that called for blood. It was not that he took over her mind, it was that he risked her pack. What he could have done to her mate. What he could do to her future in the North! With a mate and potential cubs-! Ayita paused as she looked in the mirror at the woman staring back at her with furious amber eyes. Where had that thought come from? She wasn't ready for human pups, that was certain. But laying a hand against her abdomen, Ayita considered the possibility. She wanted them, some day. Just not yet, it wasn't time and it wasn't safe enough yet for her to disappear into a den hidden away for human puppies.

Goodness knew Damon and Richard were certainly not ready for it!

Location: Outside of the Mansion

Just as quickly as it had all started, things had come to an end. The woman tensed when Jean approached, ready to knock her block off, but things seemed to have cooled off and so too did she. The hammer dissipated and Bobbi straightened. She pulled a pack of cigarette from her pocket and lit one, stepping away from the group a bit. She inhaled, realizing just how shaky her hand had become. "Shit, I just got here you know? What a welcome wagon, I gotta say," she said dryly. There was a smile on her lips though and she was curious to figure out what in the world could have happened to cause all of this ruckus.

"I guess I could carry a few of 'em over my shoulders. No idea where medical is though." She blew smoke out into the night sky and watched it a moment before dropping the butt onto the grass and stamping it out. She linked her fingers, stretched her arms up and back in preparation for hauling about the beaten bodies of the x-men. "Gotta say, you X-men sure know how to throw a party." She glanced behind at the broken window before allowing herself to be directed as to who she was supposed to carry and where she was supposed to go.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Operating Theater -- First Sub-Basement

Antoinette looked back at Lance while Beast spoke. It bothered her that she would not be able to help him this time. Antoinette felt fine, she didn’t feel the head injury like her friend Carolina would be. No Antoinette felt normal but she knew better than to question Beast. So she would wait for this mysterious blood donor who was called to show.
Lance began to stir a bit as Carolina was brought into the Operating theater. Antoinette remained focused on Lance though and his few words. His eyes fluttered shut shortly after speaking though and she wasn’t sure he was awake still. No matter, she still slipped a delicate hand into his and watched his eyes and chest fall with his staggered breathing.
”Well, do you remember when Wonder Woman was controlled? Well really, they all have in those comics at least once haven’t they? That’s what has seemed to have happened in the mansion. Makes you wonder why such a powerful thing as the mind can be so easily controlled…” Antoinette started to ramble and trail off as she listed off various traits the mind will do in order to protect itself but how completely vulnerable it was.
Absentmindedly her fingers stroked Lance’s until there was a fairly large disturbance. Antoinette looked behind her and saw Bruce Banner, looking a little green, hurry in and spot Lance. She immediately released Lance and went to her other friend’s side. She looked at Carolina and smiled.
”Just let him help Lina.” Antoinette stroked her friend’s hair despite the blood. Despite it all, Antoinette had a smile on her face. She was altogether relieved that her friend was safe and was going to be okay.

Michelle "Shelly" Diggby

Location: Patio
Skills: Stamina

Shelly had taken a beating alright, it hadn't helped her beating started preemptively, with gusto and by what was supposed to be her own side. Shelly ran the events through her mind, and thought what would have happened if she hadn't been ejected from the room. All four of them would still been in there, in the chaos Shelly would definitely come out worse than some bumps and scrapes and broken bone. On reflection Uncle had inadvertantly done her a solid, which made judging him for it a toughie.

What was worth noting the most was how being unprepared had endangered her. She had been pushed around because she refused to sink to their level, then an enemy struck and the moral highground wasn't exactly strategic advantage. It wasn't something Shelly was going to let happen again. She needed her to recover her satchel, something she could do on her way downstairs.

Ayita vanished in a flash of white feather, not even acknowledging Shelly's own apology. This was disappointing but not unexpected, Shelly was quickly getting to grips with Ayita's incredible social grace. She immediately winged off with a screech, undoubtably a warcry and a warning to Mesmero were he listening through a puppet's ears.

For an instant, the air vibrated with the energy of impending violence but this subsided awhile after the vanishing of the brandished weapon. Another new girl followed out from the sitting room, practically unscathed verifying what her own ear told her, the sitting room was safe at the moment. Unless her powers involved cigarettes and civil chit chat, Shelly was ok, not that she'd be able to do much about it if they were, but Shelly would have bet money on it had something to do with disappearing things. Shelly caught the glance at the window.

"Hah, that was a team effort, me and this motherfucker over here,"Shelly quipped, nodding in the general direction of Cyclops. "If you could grab big bird over there I'll escort you two down to the honeymoon suite personally." Shelly directed her gaze at Beth, still concerned about what she was capable of.

Allison Andrews and Sara Grey

Location: Formal Sitting Room -> Outside

Allison became only too aware of the fact that two of their numbers out here were new to the mansion. And this was the welcome they received. "Yeah, sorry about that Bobbi. I would say this is not how things usually go, but I would be lying. Though mind control is a first. Oh, everyone. This is Bobbi. She's new and I think more than earned her place among us considering she was ready to jump into action."

Sara, along with her aunt, managed to help Neil. Both him and Beth would need to get to medical, along with herself, in order for the damage to be undone. Once she was out, she let go of her aunt's power and began to cry. "I'm so sorry.." That was all she could say. She had hurt people, hurt teammates, and friends. Even if she didn't consciously do it, her body did, and that was something she would have to come to terms with.

Allison walked over to check them out. "Let's get the injured to medical. I can lead the way." Ayita flew off in her owl form before she could stop her. She would need to check on the woman. She couldn't begin to imagine how she felt about being controlled.

Sara stood up and waited for the others to begin the trek inside. She felt an intense headache coming on. "I can try to lift them telepathically if need be. Or carry one and fly down. Anything I can do to help. We need to assess the damage and see how the others are. There may be more controlled down below."

@LadyRunic@KazAlkemi@Morose@Nallore "Hello there Dr. Banner," Beast greeted as he saw the man rush into the room, and he figured that he likely was the one that Guin had contacted, however there was something that was bugging about this situation. "Might I comment though that that does not seem like the best idea in the world... You do not know what repercussions that could have."

"Henry, cut the crap," Banner snapped. "Do you think I'd be doing this if there was any other choice? It's between this and death for my son!"

"You do not know that for certain, as for the effects this could potentially have, no one knows really... Which is why I'm saying that perhaps there might be another way..."

"I've thought this through, Henry. Lance has a blood disorder - one he got from my special genetic cocktail. And since you are also a man of science, you know that basic blood typing doesn't cover every possible variation. We need as close to a perfect match for him that is possible. Which is me. Now get out of my way before I make you get out of the way and believe me, you do NOT want to meet the other guy right now as for once, we're both on the same goddamn page."

Beast let out a sigh, before just stepping out of the way to allow Banner to get to where Lance was. He figured that arguing with Banner was a bad idea, especially since considering all of the injuries, the last thing they needed was the Hulk in the middle of it all. The room was already fairly chaotic without adding that into the mix. Instead, as he let Banner get to work with starting a blood transfusion for Lance, he took to helping Carolina again. "Relax Ms. Reed, and I must say, you are most certainly not alright, however you will be..."

"The chaos upstairs is gone," a voice said, answering Richard's question as Rogue and Gambit walked into the room, Rogue was carrying Mary who was still out cold. Rogue went over, finding one of the seemingly short in stock medical beds and set Mary down, she set her down on the bed right next to Richard.

Gambit walked and stood in between the two beds, a few cards in his hand. He was prepared to protect Marygold at a second's notice. "So.... ya think she'll remember any of this?"

"Do we remember our last encounter with the mind control idiot?"

"Ah don't mon amie - I woke up with Wolverine beatin' the shit out of me."

"Actually, fairly certain you are the only one whose memory has failed them, I remember that encounter all too well. Not to mention are you sure that wasn't just Logan being mad at you for some other reason?"

"Ah dunno Stormie, it's really hard at times to remember why Logan hates me."

"Well odds are she's gonna remember and have a killer headache when she wakes up."

"Well let's give her some morphine chère!"

"That ain't a good idea Remy and ya know it."

"She won't have a headache!"

"Morphine typically isn't given to someone with a headache."

"First time for everything mes amis."

@FantasyChic@Nallore@Morose@eclecticwitch@LadyRunic@ColouredCyan "It'll be alright Sara, I honestly know what you are feeling all too well..." Jean said softly, giving Sara a smile, before she looked at the others now.

Cyclops closed his eyes before he switched from his visor to a pair of red sunglasses that he then slipped on, looking at everyone else. "Last time we dealt with him wasn't exactly a pretty picture... You'll likely feel a major headache for several hours that no pain killers can get rid of, trust me... Anyway we need to get down below, Jean, think you can carry them or what?"

"I should be able to, or at least carry one of them," Jean said, lifting Neil easily off of the ground, before turning to Allison with a slight smile. "Do you think you can carry her?" she asked, nodding her head towards where Bethany was.

@Morose "Why are we arguing about this? You are getting your head checked out right now and you are NOT arguing about it, got it?" Pietro said, before he just picked her up off of the ground and raced her downstairs to medical.

@LadyRunic Ayita would find herself seriously hurting still after all of the blasts that she had taken during the fights. It never was going to be easy to withstand a blast from Cyclops, even with his visor, and she had taken several without it, and her body had several burns on it. Someone else seemed to have taken notice, as a shield of sorts appeared, blocking Ayita's way. "Ms. Dyrkin, I must insist that you come inside immediately, refusal to do so might result in great bodily harm, even greater than the injuries that it appears Cyclops has already inflicted." Danger said, appearing in front of her

Guin Stark

Location: First Sub Basement - Operating Theater
Skills: N/A

Ayita's mental message to Guin went unheard - she didn't even notice that someone had tried to contact her telepathically. Those with psychic type abilities had resistance to telepathic intrusions - as well as those with a genius level intellect. Ayita's intended target just happened to fall under both categories, likely for the better as Guin did not consider Richard or Ayita to be family. She wasn't even friends with Ayita. And given how Ayita and Richard were treating Mary, once Guin found out what was going on, would she still be friends with Richard? Only time could tell.

Before she could even say another word to her father, Pietro had whisked her downstairs into medical. She was hardly even aware of the rapid travel. It went too fast for her mind to even begin to properly process. "Telling me to not argue about it just makes me want to argue about it," Guin mumbled, getting her bearings in medical. The place was uncomfortably crowded. Lance was the closest one too her and she grimaced slightly, spotting the contraption that Dr. Banner was using. She knew it was the only way to save her friend, but still... She just hoped Lance wouldn't hate her for calling his father.

"Arguing is bad," Pietro told her simply.

She raised an eyebrow. “You mean arguing with you is bad,” Guin pointed out. She had seen Pietro argue with people on tons of occasions and he had seen her argue with others.

"...Well technically you shouldn't be arguing with anyone when you have a head injury that you haven't had looked at."

She sighed slightly. The head injury wasn't really that bad. She had put a bandage on it and was feeling fine. People knocked their heads against things all of the time and she wasn't in tremendous pain or anything. She could wait to get it looked at until people with more serious injuries were dealt with. “Piet I’m fine. Other people actually need Beast’s help right now.”

"You need to get your head looked at still!"

“It can wait and you shouldn’t yell in medical...” Guin reminded him. She glanced over, seeing the various people in beds. A lot of them were in pretty bad shape - enough that she imagined hearing Pietro yell wasn't really at the top of their list of things to do at the moment. "I'm not yelling..." "You just did yell," Guin pointed out. "Whatever."

She moved the blanket aside, swinging her feet over to the side and beginning to slide out of bed, only for Pietro to put her back into the hospital bed in the blink of an eye. To Guin's perception, it looked like he hadn't even moved at all. "Piet, I don't need to be taking up a bed space when people need it more than me..."

"Head injuries are bad you know, especially when you don't know how serious it is."

"Am I going to be able to convince you?" Guin asked quietly, a bit annoyed.

"Probably not."

Guin huffed, lying back in the bed and turning over. She felt frustrated and a bit bad that a lot of people were needing help, and she felt fine, but Pietro was insisting on getting her looked over. However, seeing the blood in medical gave her a brief flashback to seeing Muscles lying dead on the ground and her muscles tensed up in response.

Dean Kesseli

Location: First Sub Basement - Operating Theater
Skills: N/A

Dean saw them bring in Carolina and his heart sank. At least he knew that he hadn't been the one to hurt her - right? But it easily could have been. He felt guilty for something that he didn't do, seeing the sweet and innocent Brit on the bed in some state of confusion. It looked like a head injury, with all of the blood caking Carolina's skull. If he had been up to going over to her, he would have, to... to apologize? He honestly didn't know. "Annie.... Is Carolina gonna be okay?" Dean called out quietly. There was no point continuing to look at Richard, to be reminded that he withheld information about Dean's sister - no friend would have done that... Dean wouldn't have done that to him... - and that Dean was the one responsible for his current state.

The conversation between the old X-Men caught Dean's attention as well - something like this had happened before. He bit his lip slightly. How many enemies did the X-Men have? How long would it be until something like this happened again?! Until he woke up, finding himself covered in his friends' blood and their corpses at his feet? He had seen the Flash television show. He knew what speedsters and those like them were capable of when they went dark. He never wanted to risk even doing something like that to Carolina.

Another reason to leave, then.

Antoinette stayed by Carolina’s side, stroking her hair soothingly even when Bruce Banner started arguing with Beast. Her eyes watched their movements and scanned Lance. He didn’t look like they had time for their argument but it still happened. Despite it all, Antoinette was curious to see how Lance would react with the direct blood transfusion from his father. She wasn’t into science as much as Lance or a genius like Guin but she could appreciate curiosity and the desire to learn more.
Dean called out to her in the middle of Antoinette’s daydreaming and she looked over at him, eyes glazed for a minute before they focused on the boy. The Irish native looked back at her friend and smiled a little bit.
”I think she will be, she’s still awake. Bethany threw her around quite brilliantly actually.” She spoke softly while looking at Carolina.
”How did you fair, Dean?” she asked looking back at him. ”Were you controlled or left to endure?”

Carolina Reed

Location: Operating Theater
Skills: N/A

Carolina was starting to get agitated hearing everyone in the room, some where talking while others like Beast and Banner were arguing as she gripped the sides of the medical bed a bit. Her head was still spinning and her head was pounding like it was out of her skull, but when Annie came over she started to calm down a little bit. She was really tired and just wanted to go back and sleep right now, as she turned her attention towards Dean and gave him a slight smile. "I'll be fine.." She had said, trying to reassure him, her last head injury nearly killed her when she couldn't get medical attention soon enough. But luckily her sister did manage to find her after her encounter with Hel.

Carolina was glad that Dean had asked if she was going to be okay, and made her blush slightly she then reached over and gently held onto Annie's hand. "How is your nose?" Carolina asked, she felt bad hitting her best friend so hard which was out of her control. She looked around the people in the room, feeling the irritation coming back, and wanting to lash out. She then felt another wave of nausea coming back as she let go of Annie and rolled over onto her side, she wanted to hold back her vomiting again, and she didn't want to vomit on anyone either. She had done it in the elevator and that was embarrassing enough as well.

Bethany Bell
[

Location: Patio
Skills: N/A

Bethany remained pretty still on the ground every inch of her body was hurting, as she laid there on the ground unmoving as she remained unconscious. Going over the last few minutes, now and she started to really regret what she had done to both Annie and Carolina as well, she didn't mean to hurt either one of them. And Carolina was hurt the most because of her, when she flung her around the kitchen, and started to wonder if she had actually killed her as well which was something Beth didn't want to do. She wondered if either of them would forgive her as well.

When everything settles down she would go and try and make her amends to the two of them, even more so towards Carolina having been picking on the girl the most as well. She would leave her alone as well and try and keep her distance as well figuring that it would be the best for her as well, having a feeling that Carolina wouldn't forgive her anytime soon either.

Richard Laine

Location: Sub-Basement - Operating Theater

Richard gave a low groan as Remy and Rogue argued. "Wouldn't mind some morphine myself. Or a stiff bourbon." The Adder sighed in true annoyance at the fact acohale was a bad idea. With a missing kidney he would have trouble filtering the toxins. "Then again, I want answers as to why she said what she said to Ayita."

Noting Carolina, the former assassin did a rough head count of the room. His side throbbing from having a organ ripped out. To say he was in a bad mood was a understatement. Ayita had been hurt, he had gotten a kidney ripped out and now people were being freed from a mind controlling goon. "Had anyone seen that sister of mine? Shaggy hair with feathers and beads? Shifts into different creatures?" As much as he wanted to go look himself that wasn't about to happen in his current state.

Ayita Dyrkin

Location: Ayita's room

Ayita shrugged through the pain though it wasn't easy. Making a mental list of who to swing by before she picked up the trail of Mesmero, the shifter found her way blocked. A shield of sorts and the being interfering was a odd concoction of wires and metal. Her amber eyes littered dangerously. Considering the last time Ayita had been around a metal robot it had tried to kill her, her wary nature was understandable. Though as the being began talking Ayita lowered her arm from her quiver. "What are you?"

It was a rude question, but Atita was no longer playing games. Marygold had said she needed to leave people alive. Because they were supposed to be better. Yes, she could see the reasoning behind that. But there was the matter that this Mesmero could and would strike again. That he could put her pack at risk. Something Ayita could not allow. Though as she considered it, she did see the point of forestalling her hunt. Cyclops lasers had burned her and her body ached. While loath to see the trail go cold, she would be able to hunt better with her wounds tended to. Slipping past danger the woman jerked her head in a silent order for the metal woman to walk with her while answering. Making her way to the operating theater, Ayita unstrung her bow and began planning the death of Mesmero.
