Ezekiel reached back into his chariot and grabbed his bow and quiver of arrows. He slid the strap over his head and pulled out an arrow, notching it so it was ready and looked around at everyone else and then back to the parking lot.
”Hopefully Leda can give us a bit better intel and then we can move on ahead. If the protector is busy protecting their charges, I doubt they will come see us,” he said to Kristen. He watched the commotion going on in the parking lot. A couple of cyclops seemingly running through a brick wall and then another through a shed. A car pulled into the parking lot and a pair of people walked out, oblivious to the action around them. Well, at least they were cyclops that they would be fighting. Those were relatively easy in the realm of things but there could be other creatures. Ezekiel watched multiple targets run towards the parking lot with a protector in front. Good, good, this would be good.
Ezekiel took a step back and lifted his bow, aiming for one of the cyclops. Once he came closer, Ezekiel would be able to take fire and hope his arrow flew true.
”Be ready,” he spoke to the others. Thank goodness the Pegasus were relatively calm animals and used to such commotion.

Arthur Stanford

Arthur ran along with Athanasia, as it seemed they were finally getting a break. Their friends had gotten over the window, and the path was clear ahead. That was, until the wall came crashing down. As he was pulled forward, he was surprised by just how tightly she could pull him. "Don't look back just keep going running forward." These creatures had to be incredibly strong to be able to do that, far stronger than any human. If this was average for the things that wanted them dead, it was a miracle that they'd lived this long.

Then he saw the flying horse. If he weren't in fear for his life, he might stop and stare, but he just made a sound similar to Athanasia, though not quite as squealish "Wooah." This seemed totally unreal. He tugged on Athanasia's hand though, saying "Don't stop, they're still behind us!" He tried pulling her forward, looking nervously behind them. "We gotta keep moving, okay?"

Mona waited for Kiera before she leaped from the window, following the others along to the parking lot where, hopefully, they had transportation to whatever camp they were referencing. Though she wasn't looking forward to the camp part, finding out more about her actual parents was definitely the main reason she was here.

That and being chased by cyclops.

She looked back as they were still coming after them. "Always knew you were a loser Roman. Least I gave you a black eye to make you look somewhat cool." Maybe taunting them was not the best idea, but she didn't care either way. And Athanasia seemed to be happy to see something, a flying horse of all things. "Fuck me, this is all real then..."

Leda Storm

Location: Granite Falls, North Carolina, Outside of Crystal River School For Troubled Youth, Parking Lot

Leda nodded, using her superspeed and she zoomed off, a rainbow streak heading up ahead as she scouted out the area. She had to resist the urge to give a few of these kids wedgies, knowing that this was serious. Just because they were trained demigods here to help, it didn't mean that monsters couldn't kill them. She couldn't afford to get cocky - as much as she would have loved to. "Okay, the kids are there with the Protector - and a handful or so of cyclopes," Leda said, coming to a halt next to Zeke.

"..What's the plural of cyclops anyways? Is it really cyclopes? That seems wrong..." she mused to herself. Being a dyslexic demigod with ADHD, she never really considered herself to be a pro at spelling and grammar. She figured that the daughter of Athena might know - or who knows, maybe she could ask one of the cyclopes (?) when she hit them and burst them open like a piñata. Of course, given that the charges and the protector were running in this direction, Leda considered her bit of recon to be a bit of a waste of time. At least it revealed no one else was going to come and burst their bubble. "That's them, anyways."

Jade Schneider

As her father suddenly stopped and mentioned the people from the camp she was supposed to be going towards, the girl stopped and turned her attention towards her father. He wasn't speaking, and she knew immediately that he was deep in thought. The girl wanted to run towards the people going towards the camp, maybe they could explain the whole thing going on in her life right now. However, her friend from earlier suddenly spoke from just behind her. "Jade. There are more monsters after them, run now or you'll get hurt!" The voice yelled at Jade as she quietly nodded then went and relayed the message to her father. She then tried to think of how to go about everything right now, thinking of an idea to get her dad to come with them.

Before she could speak, the man was already in action. He suddenly let go of her and ran back towards the car, grabbing the probing cane and shoving it into her hands. "Jade, they look like they're in danger. Get to them, they'll make sure you're safe and I'll meet you at the camp to drop off the rest of your stuff. Go!" He said with a frantic tone, already moving to get in the car and drive quickly in the opposite direction. Honking a few times, the man figured he could draw the monster's attention and outrun them in his car. Meanwhile the blind girl tried to quickly make her way towards the campers, following the sounds and using her probing cane to find her way towards the group. As she got close, the voice from earlier spoke once more. "Repeat after me!
Επιτρέψτε μου να έρθω μαζί σας, είμαι ημίθεος!"
He shouted, to which Jade immediately repeated, and found it weird that she somehow understood the saying. "Επιτρέψτε μου να έρθω μαζί σας, είμαι ημίθεος! Please, my dad was trying to get to camp but he's trying to lead away the monsters!" She called out, halfway hoping the group would decide to beat up the monsters and save her dad.

Translation:
Επιτρέψτε μου να έρθω μαζί σας, είμαι ημίθεος! = Let me come with you, I am a demigod!

"At least I'm not the one who has to do it, that job can be so boring," Mary said with a slight laugh before she glanced around at the school that they had landed at. It was a bit odd that the Protector wasn't there meeting with them like he was supposed to, but she didn't think anything of it as she grabbed her sword now after Leda had returned from her recon mission of sorts. Hearing her words put her a little on edge, of course there were multiple cyclopes, there was a bunch of demigods around the place, but it did make their job a little bit more difficult.

Glancing over at the group that Leda had indicated that just so happened to be racing right for them, she gripped her sword tightly in her hand. "...So, that's seriously the plan? To just wait for them to come to us? Why don't we go head for them? I mean, we'd likely be more helpful that way since it looks like the group is running for their lives at this point. I mean sure, you've got a bow and arrow, but last I checked the rest of us aren't exactly the best at fighting long distance," Mary pointed out, glancing over at the others.

@Kirah It had taken them several days from leaving Pennsylvania up towards Camp Half-blood, the satyr who had found her just a few minutes after her encounter with some of the monsters. They hitchhiked on a few cars from people who were willing to take them to the nearest town. Where they eventually got to a bus station that would have taken them to New York City, and got a cab from there that would take them to their final destination as well. "Thank you." He said, as he paid their cab driver the money and helped Andy out of the car and looked over towards her. "It's just over this hill." He said to her. "You will be much safer here than anywhere else as well." He said giving her a smile they had a few encounters with other monsters on their way there but they are much safer now, as he made his way up to the camp.

"It's both a singular and plural word Cyclopes, Cyclopeses doesn't sound right at all so yeah that's your English lesson for the day." Kristin said with a slight head shake, as she watched Zeke taking out his bow and launched an arrow at one of the cyclopes that were chasing after the younger demigods. She watched as the monster burst into dust as the arrow hit true directly in the eye, Kristin turned her attention over towards Mary and noticed that there was some more now that were coming out about three more which she did not like at all either.

"You could make some plants come to life and ensnare them or something." Kristin suggested and also gestured towards the wooden clubs that they were holding. "Could also use their wooden clubs against them i'm sure they'd like that." Kristin said, knowing that Demeter kids could easily control anything related to plants and nature. Kristin then stopped when she heard the girl speaking in ancient greek and turned to look at Jade, she wasn't expecting another demigod to be around either and quickly made her way over towards her. She noticed that the girl was also blind. "Here and hurry up." Kristin said as she helped her into the chariot and then looked over at Zeke. "Give me some cover fire yeah, Leda help out with me to." Kristin asked, as she ran over and caught up to the group and then threw her spear at the closest Cyclopes as it fell to the ground, and she went to retrieve it. "Hurry up i'll cover you guys!" Kristin yelled towards the group.

Roman roared louder as an arrow killed one of his friends, as more from his little gang started to catch up to them and wanted to get much closer to grab the half-bloods and make a nice stew for them. Kiera looked at Ash when she mentioned about the flying horses and she still couldn't believe what she was seeing either. She shook her head still having a hard time thinking that this was all real as well, and looked towards her friend. "No time for chatting and just hurry up and we can get to safety." Kiera said calmly as she could towards Ash, as she noticed a blonde girl running forward and throwing what looked like a spear at the cyclopes. Noting that she was around her age as well which was surprising as well.

Hedge was running and gently nudged the two youngest to move forward seeing Kristin and smiled. "Nice shot there." Hedge said, and Kristin nodded as she held off one of the other Cyclopes that were perusing them. Kiera was breathing heavily as she was getting closer towards the group now and could see that there were more of them by the chariots that were waiting for them. "I'm sure they will know more about everything." Kiera said towards Mona, she also did want to know who her real father as well.

Athanasia Theroux

Location Equipment shed

As if her day could not get strange enough with a small gang of cyclopes running after Athanasia in an attempt to turn her into stew. Toss in a satyr hustling herself and Arthur along, and a small herd of flying, cart pulling, flying horses. Now they had a good few teens it seemed eyeing up Roman and his friends, something that generally meant a fight was about to break out. Giving Arthur a small smile as the older boy pulled on her hand. Finding herself once more moving towards the horses and their strange carts. Turning her head back she saw the golden shower of dust as one cyclops was hit with an arrow.

Her jaw dropping open Athanasia closed it and hiss through her teeth. "What-? How did the cyclopes turn to dust?!" Though as Roman roared in fury, the pale girl didn't need prompting as she raced towards their new found, and hopefully, allies. After all, she didn't have a weapon on her aside from a very witty mind and a adorable face. Neither of which would hold up against a teen with a bow or another with a pointy spear. "I wish I had my parasol." Athanasia grumbled as her teddy bear backpack thumped and glared back at Kiera and Desdemona for lagging behind.

Andy

Location: Edge of Camp Half Blood

Andy paused as the cab drove off. The driver looking very confused as to why these two had asked to be dropped off, in as far as he was concerned, the middle of nowhere. She watched the cab drive off for a moment and then turned to follow the satyr. He had told her that was what he was, had even shown her his hoofed feet. She had a hard time trusting the guy and that had been a wild moment for her. It wasn't that she even trusted him now, she thought as she followed him up the hill, it was more that she had nowhere else to go. Quite literally. Too many homeless camps had kicked her out. You knew you were bottom of the rung of society when the bottom of the rung was chasing you off.

She shook her head and continued up. Her friend led her passed a tree with a literal dragon wrapped around it and something golden shimmering in the branches. Andy gave the tree a wide berth. On the downslope of the hill, there was a man in a wheelchair waiting for them. Her friend waved and ran up to the man speaking to him for a moment gesturing at Andy who hung back nervous. She wasn't excited about this situation suddenly. The place seemed okay. There were some kids messing around in orange shirts. She wondered if they were actually prisoners, but they seemed to be having fun.

The arrow sailed through the air, arching perfectly and nailed one of the cyclopes in the eye. Ezekiel couldn’t help the giant grin or sparkle in his eye from that. He looked at Mary as the cyclops turned to dust.
”By all means, run on ahead strawberry. I’m better with long distance and I can cover all of you that way. There should be no more monsters than these and the kids are coming right for us so at the very least we don’t have to hunt after them. Gather as many as each of you can,” Ezekiel said.
Kristen then started giving her own orders and shifted into action. Typical. He gave her a bit of a glare but she was already off running and asking for cover.
”Play to their weaknesses. Limited mobility and vision,” he reminded them before he took aim at another cyclops.

The people that were jumping out of chariots with weapons in tow seemed to have a firmer grasp on the situation than she ever hoped to, so she decided to let them handle the beasts chasing them. She merely wanted to get out of there with everything intact so she could find out what the hell was going on. If there was one thing that pissed her off (okay, there were A LOT of things, but still) it was not being in the know about something in her own life.

"I'm guessing these people are like us? The kids of gods? Any reason why they weren't here with us and seem to know exactly what's going on with all this?" She desperately wished she had a weapon of some sort. A spear. A gun. Something to aid in the fight. She left the weights behind and she wanted to smack Roman again, if only to make herself feel better.

The girl heard a voice addressing her, then guided her onto a wooden structure. She went to turn but found a small wall directly before her. Moving the little fabric at the end of the cane to wrap around her wrist, she moved to feel the edge of the small wall. It was cool, smooth, and hard. Something she had grown to associate with metal. So whatever she was standing on was made of wood, but had a metal rim around the outside. "You're in a chariot, Jade. Grab the edges, I doubt they're going to hang around here for a bit. Once it starts moving, try to get to know these people, I am by no means exaggerating when I say the people you meet at a place like this very well may be the ones to save your life." The voice spoke off to her right this time, causing Jade to nod and mumble to the side that the voice had come from.

She gripped the edge best she could, hearing the sounds of fighting behind her made the girl a little nervous. She wanted to help, desperately, but she had no means to fight or help anybody. She barely understood the situation, and even with that couldn't be certain of the situation going on around her. Turning her head to point an ear towards the sounds of the others, Jade hoped to get a better idea of how everything was going. Yet, it seemed she would not really be granted a better understanding of the situation. The cacophony of noise from people talking, yelling, and whatever the hell else was going on only left her overwhelmed. Jade hoped at this camp there was some way she could reclaim her sight, or something. She had always hated feeling like she needed to be helped or was useless like this.

Leda Storm

Location: Granite Falls, North Carolina, Outside of Crystal River School For Troubled Youth, Parking Lot

"You would be a fantastic, bitchy spelling teacher," Leda told Kristen with a fake smile. Sure, she had asked but that didn't matter to Leda. Sometimes she wanted to just duct tape the know it all's mouth shut, but somehow the daughter of Athena would continue to annoy her. They were the children of Greek gods after all - tragedy was the endgame. And having to hear Kristen drone on and on about how much smarter she was than everyone else? That was the perfect definition of tragedy. Cracking her knuckles slightly, she wished that she had some tunes to listen to as transformed her necklace into her sword, ultraviolet. It was giving off a slight orange glow - meaning that Leda was feeling impatient and restless. It tended to be orange a lot.

Combing her skills in agility and sword-fighting with her goddess given gift of super speed, Leda went off at a run, cutting down a cyclops at a speed that made her look like a blur to the others. She let out a little victory whoop as it turned into dust, jabbing her sword through another one but she only severely injured it. Leda then zipped on over to Roman and hit him with the butt of her sword, knocking him to the ground. "Are you not entertained?" she asked, slowing down enough so that way people could hear her voice and not just distorted blurbs of noise. Swinging her sword slightly, she was looking forward to the next one she got to run her sword through.

"How about you shut your mouth before one of us decides to smack you upside the head and then find a way to leave you behind here, honestly, you are so annoying," Mary said to Ezekiel with a bit of an eye roll. The guy was really getting to be a bit on her nerves, and there wasn't anything she could really do about it now considering the guy was on this quest with them and she had to deal with it. One thing she definitely could do was ignore everything Ezekiel said from this point onwards and take suggestions from other people.

Seeing the last monster and Roman, she decided to take Kirsten's suggestion as if to essentially say to Ezekiel I don't have to listen to a word that you say! Mary sent vines and plant life shooting up from the ground, trying to entangle the pair to the best of her abilities. She apparently was doing a lot better than she had expected to, as she entangled Roman completely in the vines, and even managed to kill the last cyclops. Today definitely seemed to be going her way, that was for sure.

Arthur Stanford

As the heroes arrived, and started fighting off the monster for them, Arthur felt himself finally start to relax a bit. These people would keep them safe, but then what? They were to go to this camp, and then they'd be safe? This seemed like the start of a story, not the end of one, and with that always came a certain bit of uncertainty. His life would be different from here on out, that's for sure. These people seemed to treat fighting these monsters as an everyday occurrence, meaning that their lives compared to his, must be insane.

Arthur turned and smiled coyly at Athanasia, "While I'm sure they'd appreciate the gesture, something tells me your parasol wouldn't be nearly as effective as their arrows." He said, as they continued to close the distance between themselves and their saviors. He had questions, and he expected answers soon, even if he knew he had to keep his mouth shut to stay alive for now. He figured that, no matter what might come, this new life might not be that bad, since he was lucky enough to be pretty good friends already with the people who'd be joining him.

@Kirah The Satyr looked over towards Andy noticing that she had been looking at the Golden Fleece that was on the branches of Thalia's tree and at the base of it was the dragon Peleius who was sleeping at the base of it. And Chiron looked at the young girl and gave her a friendly smile and waved the two of them forward. "Ah, hello welcome to Camp Half-blood. You are very safe here I assure you." He said as he looked over at the tree and smiled, remembering the quest to the Sea of Monsters just to collect the Golden Fleece and gestured for her to follow him. "I am sure you have a lot of questions. There are a few others that are new and should be on their way back now and we can get you started on some tours if you'd like." Chiron said as he started to wheel himself down the hill and towards the Big House near the center of camp.

Kristin watched as Leda came into the fray now as well, taking out one of the cyclopes and then knocking down who seemed to be one of the leaders. She shook her head at Leda calling her a bitchy teacher she didn't really have any aspirations to even be a teacher, sure she did teach a few lessons back at camp but she didn't like to see herself as a teacher. "And you'd make a horrible teacher." Kristin said sarcastically towards Leda and shook her head, as she turned her attention over towards Desmondona and nodded towards the girl a bit. "Yes, we are kids of the gods. And reason why, theres a lot of younger kids back at camp and some don't have as much experience with fighting monsters or we are busy with Quests. That's why we have Satyrs do the scouting mostly." Kristin answered the woman.

Marygold seemed to have a good handle on things now as well as the one named Roman and the other cyclopes were both ensnared by roots and the second one getting the short end of the stick as the roots covered his entire body and crushed him. Seeing the small bits of dust blowing away. "I'll answer whatever questions you may have on the way back." Kristin said towards all of them and started to make her way back towards the chariots, the cyclopes were all taken care of by now at this point to.

Kiera watched as the group of demigods came in and pretty much saved the day, one of them who seemed to be really fast noticing her orange sword as she managed to kill one of them and knocking down and injuring the other. "That's pretty damn cool, and really entertaining to watch as well." Kiera said towards Leda and gave the girl a friendly smile. As she watched roots coming out of the ground and started to wrap around one of the cyclopes and killing it rather quickly. Leaving Roman to be left for dead pretty much as he flailed trying to break free and started to curse all of them out, and going on about making stew out of all of them.

One of Zeke's arrows flew true and managed to shoot Roman in the eye, as she watched her former and very creepy classmate who was now a monster turn into dust as well. "Thank god the creeper is gone now.." Kiera said as she started to make her way over towards the chariots and looked over towards the one with the bow and eyed the kid who was around her age up and down for a moment and smiled towards him. "Nice shooting Hawkeye." Kiera said.

Andy wasn't certain if she completely believed the reassurances of safety, but she nodded and stepped closer to the man. She did have lots of questions. "He said a parent of mine was a god." It sounded nuts, and she had seen plenty of crazy people in the homeless camps. It also wasn't a question. She paused uncertain of which question to ask first. "More new kids are coming? I can wait for a tour for when they get here, then you only have to do it once." She decided to start with that. If she could be in the group she wouldn't stand out, that was a good first step.

A slew of other questions started to try to tumble out of her mouth all at once. "How do you know it is safe? What do you mean by gods? Why is everyone wearing orange? What does Camp Half-blood mean?" The Satyr had answered some of her questions but he had left some information out and been vague about other stuff.

Leda Storm

Leda smirked a bit, before pressing a slight indentation on the hilt of Ultraviolet and her sword transformed back into a necklace. She put the necklace back on around her neck, brushing a bit of stray hair out of the way. She did feel a bit bad for the kids they had just found - yes, they were bringing them to safety but their entire lives had just been turned upside down. A few of them didn't look like they could have been older than ten. One of the kids was in the chariot already and she had to wonder if transporting them this way back to Camp Half-blood would do more harm than good. Some people could get a bit freaked out and overwhelmed by flying from Carolina to Long Island in minutes in a magic chariot.

But as much as she was empathetic... Leda also didn't care. She could understand the feelings of others and knew how to read them, but was she going to change the way she behaved because of that? Hardly. She zipped on ahead, going back into her own chariot and she waited to see which chariots these new campers decided to go into. None of them exactly looked like potential candidates to be her siblings. Of course, that could easily change if one of them started complaining about how slow travel was - or glowing like a being made out of pure rainbows. That also tended to be an easy tell for a child of Iris. The older girl though, Leda was wondering if she'd turn out to be a half sister of Kristen. Athena's kids were almost always blonde - though Apollo's kids also fit into that rule.

"I'm taking cool people only," Leda announced. "No snails allowed."

Marygold snapped back at him and Ezekiel simply smirked. She was one of the easier ones to get riled up. Of course she turned around and listened to Kristen instead. Everyone always listened to one of the big three over any of the other demi-gods. Still, Marygold got the last two down and Ezekiel sealed the deal with one, lodging another arrow in its eye. He stretched out and watched the worn children reach them finally and he counted to make sure they had the right number. They seemed to have an extra that was already on a chariot. They would deal with that back at camp. She seemed rather young too so perhaps she was a new variable.
Ezekiel looked over at the redhead who spoke to him. Another redhead. Goody. He gathered her reference and smirked. Ya, he was probably just as annoying as Hawkeye too. Ezekiel didn’t mind that.
”So, crash course. As I am sure you have been told, you are children of Olympic Gods, or rather demi-gods. There is a camp full of people like us who train and have enhanced abilities. We are on a bit of a time crunch so all of your questions will have to wait until we are back at camp. Pick a chariot and we’ll get you all out of here,” Ezekiel said before he jumped onto his own and put away his bow for safe keeping.

Athanasia Theroux

Location Parking lot

The pale girl rolled her eyes as Arthur commented that her parasol might not be the mightiest of weapons. Which was a fair point. "Well at least I could hit Roman with it. Have hit Roman with it." Athanasia corrected herself as she watched the vines and various weapons crush the cyclops into the golden dust that dissipated on the wind. Giving the archer an approving look she grinned cheekily at the older boy

"Lovely shot." The black eyed girl cheered as she gave Arthur a nudge. A 'come on'look in her dark eyes. "Athanasia Theroux. President of the Hellraiser Committee." With wide innocent eyes, Ash skipped herself over and into Zeke's chariot with a delighted laughter. Questions spilling out about a mile a minute. "How does the chariot fly? Where us Camp Half-blood? Whose your godly parent? Why can you sprout vines from the ground? Could I do something like that? That was simply amazing! If the Greek Gods are real what about God? How long will it take to get to the camp? Arthur, Kiera,Des! Come one!" Ash gleefully prattled on. Her dark eyes shining with interest.
