Elsea watched the fairy in front of her closely, listening to him speak. "Yer quite the charmer, aren't you?" She said with a small giggle at his pretty words. Perhaps all he was speaking was truth, but she had a feeling deep down that there was more to what he was saying. If he would have spoken these words to her a few weeks ago she would have turned him away immediately, however after what she'd been though she was feeling beaten, broken, and unwanted. So his pretty words were welcome.

He introduced himself and she felt a bit of confusion at the name. Elthrael? That is no name of any god I know. She thought to herself, but kept her mouth shut to this fact. Perhaps he went by multiple names and this was one of them? Perhaps he wasn't truly one of her gods at all? Either way she was too tired to care and he was helping her, that's all that mattered.

"Well Elthrael, ya see I'm really not a witch. In Scotland right now, where I come from, there is a king that believes if you believe in the old fae gods or in anything other than something called Catholicism than you must be a witch. That and any woman who uses her head must also be a witch. I unfortunately was both, worshiping the gods of old as well as thinking for myself. So I was imprisoned, accused of being a witch and seductress, then sentenced to burn after spending two weeks in prison." She explained to him with a sigh as she watched him figure a way to remove her bindings.

"Thank you." Elsea said once she was free of the chains, rubbing at her wrists and neck. It was such a relief to not have them restricting her anymore. "All of that sounds lovely right now." She responded with a grateful sigh as she waited for him outside. She took the time to take a look around at where they were at. They definitely seemed to be in a well protected spot which helped to ease her a bit more. All she wanted right now was to feel safe.

Elthrael emerged moments later with a blanket before leading her down towards the spring. He promised to keep watch while she bathed and she stared at him for a long moment. "Well turn around then and allow a woman her privacy to bathe." She instructed him, though if she were being completely honest she was too tired to really care.

As he repeated her name, Myra smiled, nodding affirmatively. It was good to know that he understood what she meant by it. That said, she had interrupted her hunting to come investigate and she was rather hungry. While she didn't understood really why Darius had suddenly pointed towards that direction, tilting her head with a confused expression as she looked towards where he pointed and to him again, she
figured out he would be hungry too. After all, she did find him sleeping.

Pointing towards her own mouth in an inquisitive manner, Myra tried to ask if he was hungry and wanted something to eat. Before Darius could answer though, she pointed towards where he had a moment ago, in a small motion for him to follow her. Immediately after that, Myra lowered her body a bit, leaning it forward. Then, in the blink of an eye, Myra was gone. Disappearing amongst the trees with a surprising burst of speed. Where she was standing, Darius would be able to see strange marks of long talons digging on the ground on her footprints, talons that definitely weren't there when he first took a look at her.

A moment later, when Myra realized that Darius wasn't following her, she came back, running in the same speed she left, stopping just in front of Darius and looking at him, confused. Maybe he wasn't able to run as fast as her? As she looked at him, Darius would realized that her feet now had sharp, dangerous looking claws coming out of it. Their triangular, curved shape were a clear indication that they were not only used for running but for hunting as well.

Gently grabbing his hand, she began moving. At first, she would walk, then gradually getting faster, until she found a speed where Darius was comfortable with. As they went deeper within the forest and further away from the clearing they were before, Darius would notice Myra sticking her tongue out of her mouth from time to time, almost like a reptile's. While she wasn't showing it's full length, it was clear for him that it was at least twice as long as a normal human's. Suddenly stopping, Myra put her finger over her mouth, in a sign for Darius to be silent. When she pointed forward, Darius would see, with some difficulty at first due to the distance, a large boar in the distance. While it was distracted, eating, it was still relatively large and it would be undeniably dangerous for them to go after it themselves.

Looking to the boar and then to Darius, she let go of his hand, looking at him and slowly backing away, trying to tell him to stay still and look at her. Before going though, she stopped a few steps away from Darius, standing still. Much to Darius' surprise, he saw Myra's skin 'melding' with the background, making her become completely invisible. Becoming visible again a second later, Myra looked at Darius, with a proud expression on her face. While he would think that she did this only to show him what she could do, in fact she was also curious to know if Darius was able to somehow see her while she was camouflaged. After confirming he couldn't, she looked at him again and to the ground as if saying him to stay there.

Lowering herself to the ground, she began moving towards, just like a predator would, stalking her prey. The scene Darius would see would both amaze and surprise him. As Myra pounced towards the boar, almost too fast for Darius to follow her, seeing only a white blur, Darius would soon hear the beast's desperate cries for help and the gurgling sounds as Myra's terrifyingly sharp teeth went sank on it's throat. Soon after, whether he kept looking at the scene unfolding before him or turned away, he would hear an audible snap as Myra tore out the boar's throat with her teeth, leaving only a gaping hole behind.

With the boar already dead, Myra would look back at Darius, dropping the chunk of flesh on the ground as she walked towards him, carrying the boar's heavy carcass back with her tail. As she got closer, Darius would realize just how big and dangerous her teeth were as she opened her mouth, cleaning the blood off her teeth and her cheeks with her long tongue, closing it again when she was finished.

Dropping the carcass in front of Darius, she would point at it and towards her own mouth, then looking at Darius again with a smile, indicating she had found food for them.
Kneeling on the ground near the carcass, Myra would dig her retractable claws on the boar's hide. While her claws were noticeably shorter than her talons, making it so her fingers were indistinguishable from a normal human's when they were retracted, they were still enough to tear the boar's hide off it's body. While it wasn't elegant and definitely a waste of a good hide, since Myra didn't know how to skin a boar, she simply tore it away from the carcass with her claws. After taking off a good chunk of hide, exposing the boars flesh beneath, she would tear a chunk off it's body with her claws, handing it to Darius and then pointing to her own mouth again, indicating that he should eat it.

"Definitely troll blood, but…. How do I know you dispatched both of them?" An elf merchant inquired as he looked over one of Skar's blood-stained axes that had been placed on a large table next to his stand in the outdoor market. Skar had stopped placing a few items she had purchased into a chest tied down onto Peacemaker's harness to give the elf her undivided attention. Skar was not the most loyal individual, but she was honest. The female orc smirked at the elf as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Future business. Two dead trolls in the forest. If elf finds something different, no more bounties for Skar."

"True. Just be aware that I like a bit a proof of a job well done. Words tend to be empty and you only have few of them, orc. Now, give me a moment and I'll have your amas to you as promised." The elf pulled a key from his breast pocket and walked behind his stand to grab Skar's payment.

"Elf! Any human bounties?" Skar asked abruptly as if she had almost forgotten to.

"Not now, but some may turn up soon. It only happened last night, but rumors are getting around about humans arriving in Avalia. Apparently, they started a forest fire in the River Kingdom. Poor fairies" The elf snickered as he was now stuffing the amas into a single sack.

"Fire? Is that the strength of humans?"

"It is only one of the abilities they can have. There's also earth, air, and water. They're probably easy hunts since they may not be adept with them now. However, if you give them time, they will come to be very difficult to capture or kill. Imagine being hit by a tornado or several boulders at once... Here you are, 300 amas. Oh! Also, don't bring your swine into the outdoor market. It's not as upscale as the indoor market, but we still have standards. Thank you." The elf thought he was being polite because he smiled when he said this. Skar huffed and snatched her payment. She tossed it into her storage chest and shut it before tapping Peacemaker on his head.

That little bit of information from the elf stirred in the orc's thoughts. She couldn't see Darius as much of a warrior. He appeared to be fit and outran a troll for some time, but it made more sense for him to have magic. She hoped he didn't have fire. She hated fire. Earth. The sturdy element of strength…. That did not fit Darius, but she could hope that he would acquire such a power. Once dead set on earth, Skar didn't even bother thinking about the possibilities of water or air. The orc set out to find Darius again so she could make good on her investment. She would make him a mover of mountains and they would face Aklenroth. As simple as that.

"Ohhh fuck…" Darius let out as he stood frozen in place watching the seemingly innocent and adorable Myra rip the skin off of the boar she savagely killed right in front of him. His mouth hung open in shock as she proceeded to snatch a piece of flesh from the beast that had just lost the fight for its life. The warm blood dripped down her claws as she attempted to offer Darius the flesh to consume. He could only stare at the flesh as her adorable demeanor only made the situation more disturbing.

You know that moment where you realize your girlfriend or boyfriend is batshit crazy. How everything starts off somewhat normal. There's weird shit that happens, but you just brush it off because no one's going to be perfect. People just have their little issues. More things happen as time goes on and then BAM you get hit right in the face with 100% of pure unfiltered batshit. This usually happens over the course of a few weeks, maybe months if the person is good at holding the crazy back. This shit happened in THREE MINUTES!

Three minutes ago…

"Alright, let's go get food!" Darius exclaimed cheerfully before watching Myra dart out of sight. "Whoa! She's quick… Wait a sec." Darius noticed the ground where he last saw her was oddly clawed. Darius felt like he would have noticed Myra having talons for feet. He shrugged it off and figured that maybe her bare feet just did that kind of thing. He took a few steps forward and then scratched the back of his head as he noticed there was no sign of her.

Then, just as fast as she left, she returned. This time the clawed feet were in full display. Her look of confusion was easily beaten by his own as he tilted head to the side while raising an eyebrow. It's not like she's human. She something though. Definitely something. He then let Myra lead him by the hand. They started off slow and then broke into a run through the forest. He chuckled a bit as he found it to be kind of fun. Well, at least until he noticed her flicking her tongue. Whoa… that's pretty long. Again, she's not human. And it's not even that weird. Right?

When the two suddenly stopped, he focused on her nonverbal cues. He nodded as he understood that she wanted him to be quiet and look towards their target. It happened to be large boar about the same size as Peacemaker off in the distance. It was distracted while eating something and… Hold the front door. What are we about to do right now? We can't beat that thing.

Darius then witnessed Myra's display of invisibility. Now he thought this was awesome. An expression of excitement washed away his wary one. It was not long-lived as once Myra motioned for him not to move, she sprung into action. Darius watched Myra's fluid movement towards the boar, but he was not confident she could take it on alone. Despite her instruction, Darius ran toward the scene he would regret he got so close to. He stopped in his tracks as he watched Myra subdue and kill the boar like something out of National Geographic. He got a view of her teeth too, especially when she cleaned them off with her tongue. The man was in total shock as she then started to happily skin the boar.

"Ohhh fuck…"

And we're back.

Darius shook his head slowly with a somewhat disturbed look on his face at the hunk of flesh. The act was not what shocked him, it was Myra herself that did. He would have never expected such a small adorable creature to be so vicious.

"Myra… that was kinda... No, that was savage as fuck, but… kinda cool too." Darius said as he plopped down to the ground and shook his head in disbelief with a bit of a grin. He needed to smile at this. This world was just full of crazy shit for him to see. For good measure, Darius pointed at the hunk of meat and then to his mouth before making an X over his mouth with his index fingers. He then looked around before pointing up at a tree and then pretending he had a round fruit in his hand and was biting into it. Then finished off his miming by rubbing his stomach and going... "Mmmm!" Darius hoped she understood. Oh, he hoped she did.

Risa was vaguely aware of being scooped up. Through hazy vision, she noticed Kyran's blue eyes looking down at her as he told her they weren't going to leave her behind. He had changed back from his fox form. She smiled at him. She was so happy he was safe. She was really lucky to have such good friends. Still, she worried that she'd weigh them down. The fire was starting to spread through the forest, making her heart-ache. She wanted to stop the fight and make sure all the animals were safe!

She laid her head weakly on Kyran's chest, absolutely drained. A squeeze on her arm made her glance over to see Dionaea. She too assured her that they wouldn't leave her. She smiled and managed to take her hand and give it a gentle squeeze. Her eyes traveled to the wound on Dionaea's leg and quickly began trying to heal it without hesitation. "I got your back."She whispered to her. The dark elf that been attacking started to threaten Kyran, promising torture for them in the future. Terror filled her. Risa had no idea what she had been truly signing up for by trying to help the light elves. She was willing to risk her lives but now Kyran's and Dionaea's lives?

Dionaea started speaking to the human again after the dark elf seemed to leave. The human started speaking strange words, moving her under his shield and trying to proceed to a "Bastion" whilst lighting the forest aflame. "No don't light it on fire! He's gon-"Risa began to protest but her eyes rolled back and she collapsed very suddenly. Trying to heal Dionaea was clearly the last straw before her body insisted on rest.

Fairies came fluttering with tools and water to the site as they were departing, their wings working quickly as they hastily arrived to try to put out the fire. Hades jumped in front of the four, looking like rather exhausted himself. He had come back as quick as he could with reinforcement. Many male fairies had come with weapons, ready to fight. It was clear Hades had spilled some beans. He looked toward Dionaea with saddened eyes. His brown fur was wet, indicating he had run through streams and such, taking shortcuts where he could.

Dionaea. I had to tell them. I apologize. Someone notified Aklenroth of your betrayal and you're wanted for treason. Risa's mother has instructed me to lead you all to a secret location. Have them all follow me to this home. She has left a basket of food. Your parents most likely are aware of this.

(Dionaea can lead them all after Hades to this home for rest and we can skip to morning. You may continue the night if you so wish.)

Malachi was holding on tight to the saddle on his dragon as they made their way. He had his head hanging over the side, trying to look for anything unusual. Sure enough, there was a fire-breathing, menacing Dracolich up ahead. He could not say he had ever quite seen that before. Could it be possible there were actual humans underneath it? He watched as the Dracolich maneuvered dangerously low into a clearing to blow fire into the woods, pursuing some sort of prey.

Before he could come up with a reaction, Marion swooped down into a small field so fast and suddenly that Malachi could not help but go tumbling into the grass below. He rolled over, his head aching, the ground beneath him feeling like it was quaking yet again. His bow was jabbing in his back uncomfortably and some arrows had spilled out of his quiver. It took him a moment to recover, pushing himself up on his palms. The severity of the situation went through his mind like a strike of lightning, allowing his body to react similarly as he scrambled to his feet, rushing to collect his arrows. He brushed the dirt off his clothes with mild disgust as he glanced up in the sky. That crazy dragon was throwing himself into battle with the Dracolich. Was he suicidal?

It all started to make sense when a female elf started to run toward him, probably about to run past him in her panic. A male and female were following behind her. Normally, his first thought would be that they were all foolish to think they could outrun a Dracolich, but that's why Marion had thrown himself at it. To be fair, he was probably protecting Malachi since the creature couldn't have been possibly able to think this far and understand this much. This was their only chance to get away. He took in the appearance of the male and female. Their ears were not pointed and their clothes were ridiculous. These were definitely humans. The mission had been successful against all odds.

For it to continue to be successful, they'd have to continue running away. This meant Malachi had to let the dragon essentially sacrifice itself. Marion was a strong boy but he had grown up tame and under kind care, unlike the rough and violent upbringing of most dragons in the Daka region. Malachi felt his heart ache. It was too late. Marion had made his choice and they had no time to go back. "Humans! Elf girl! Keep running and we shall escape. I will introduce myself soon after."

Memories filled his mind as he began to run with them. The sweet little silver face that had peaked out between the cracks of his egg. That image was forever edged in his mind even though it had been four years since then. It hurt to think he might perish so young. It had been so long since he had come to care for something since his family.

I'm sorry, my good friend. Your sacrifice will not be in vain.

Ambience: On the road

Ilan was feeling refreshed after his short nap, and on his way out of the forest he gathered some medicinal plants to take with him on the road. It would probably be a while before he would see another forest, since he was going back on the road. At the edge of the forest he spotted a large tree with summer peaches. He squealed in delight and hastily made his way over there, forgetting all about the dirt roads stretching away from him. As he closed the distance he could smell the sweet aroma of the slightly flat sunset colored fruits. It made his heart jump for joy as he could easily eat his weight in these fruits, eating them for breakfast, lunch and desert. It was however always a challenge to get some, as he couldn't climb trees. He did however has his trusted slingshot. Standing at the foot of the tree, Ilan squinted his eyes to get a better look at te branches, trying to determine which one carried the ripest fruits. Those he could eat right away, he needed the less ripe ones to take with him on his travels.

He readied a stone in his slingshot and aimed at one of the branches, sticking out his tongue as he concentrated on his aim. With a grunt he flung a stone at the midsection of one of the branches, thick enough so it wouldn't break, but thin enough to tremble and send peaches falling down on the ground. The first attempt didn't do much, aside from ruffle the branch. A couple of leaves fell down but no fruit. He frowned and looked at his slingshot, as if it was to blame. He wasn't easily discouraged so he gave it another try. This time with success. Ilan kept it up until he had a drawstring bag filled up to the brim with peaches, it almost didn't close. After he was done he at one and made sure to plant the seed somewhere close to the tree, so another would hopefully grow.

After about an hour traveling on foot Ilan still hadn't seen any signs or directions and his bag was getting awfully heavy. He let out a groan and blew out a tired breath which puffed up his cheeks. Soon he was dragging his hooves over the dirt road, regretting his decision of carrying so much weight with him. He ate as many as he could, until his stomach started to feel weird that is. The sound of hooves in the distance caught his attention, it was too far away to see, but Ilan could tell it was coming from behind him. It became louder and he could make out a horse along with a cart full of what smelled like hay. The driver was wearing a hat and didn't seem to be armed in any way. Ilan lightened his step until the driver caught up to him.

"Good day there, young traveler!" The driver stopped his cart and drew up next to Ilan. The man seemed to be a farmer of sorts, he had tools to work the land stacked up behind him in between the bundles of hay. He took of his hat to reveal a set of horns, like that of a bull, hooves peeked out underneath his overalls. A cheery kind of fellow he greeted the faun with a cheerful smile.

"Where are you off to on this fine day?" He asked while picking some pieces of straw from his clothes, in an effort to look more presentable. Ilan smiled back relieved to see another demihuman.

"I am not sure where I'm going yet but....."
He weighed his options momentarily. The prospect of walking for another couple of hours wasn't really that appealing. He opened up the drawstring bag he was holding in his arms and showed his prized fruits to the farmer. The farmer raised his brows and inspected the wares.

"Are those......, summer peaches?" The bull demihuman said sounding surprised. Ilan figured the tree wasn't commonplace where the man was from. He put his hat back on to shield his eyes from the sun.

"They are!"
Ilan exclaimed proudly, smiling happily. The young faun pointed towards the back of the cart.
"If I can travel a couple of miles with you, you can have as many as you like. If you keep the seeds you can plant a whole orchard."

"Sounds like music to my ears young faun, hop on!"

Ilan handed the bag to the farmer and jumped onto the back of the cart, which was an easy feat for his deer legs.
"For a boy your size you sure can jump..." The farmer said, somewhat impressed by Ilans natural aptitude. He continued to introduce himself as Ilan made himself comfortable in the hay.
"I'm Fintan"

"Nice to meet you I'm Ilan Mu"
He said with a small smile. There was a familial kind of feeling to Fintan. He could tell he wasn't from here but he was still a farmer. The kind of people Ilan grew up with. Ilan gestured towards the bundles of hay.
"Can I use some to make a basket?"
He asked twisting a piece around his fingers.

"You go ahead kid, I've got enough to go around." Fintan said scratching the back of his head. There was sure to be a bunch he couldn't use, so really there was no harm in the kid using some. He might even make a buck selling some of the baskets. He sure as hell didn't know how to do it, let alone have the patience for it.

"Great! Thanks Fintan"
Ilan said, letting himself flop down on his back. The hay was itchy and dry. After a while of looking up at a mostly cloudless sky, trying to make out shapes he started on his first basket.

Soruklithbaal was enraged, letting out a breath of flames towards the trio but was countered by Corvina's flame. When he tried to proceed, a tree crashed before him, blocking his way. He roared, stepping over the burning tree and began building up a massive flame in his hollow stomach before rearing up on his hind legs and releasing the eruption of blue flames at the three, only to be stopped once again by Kenia, who created a magical shield. After the flames dissipated, Souklithbaal saw six enemies looking identical running in two different directions. This confused him for a moment until he looked up. There was a young dragon coming toward him. Soruklithbaal charged at Marion, clawing him and biting him as he weakly struggled back to hurt the undead dragon. The two dragons fought for quite some time. Soruklithbaal managed to grab Marion's head between his teeth and crushed his skull, killing him. Marion dropped lifelessly to the ground with a loud thud, dirt clouding around the large beast. Soruklithbaal let out a deafening roar in his victory and turned to look for his former enemies. They were nowhere to be seen. He scanned the area once more before lifting off and flying back towards Daka Island.

With the 'hunt' already finished and the boar's hide already properly ruined, there was no need for Myra to use neither the thin claws on her hands nor the bigger ones on her feet, retracting them as suddenly as she became visible. While Darius' expressions were still new things she didn't understand that well, she already was able to understand a few of them, such as his look of excitement when she showed her camouflage to him. She didn't know exactly why but that made him happy, which was a good thing.

When Myra came towards Darius with the carcass and offered him some meat though, the expression he made was a bit different from when she showed him her camouflage, but despite the small difference, the smile he gave meant that he was happy right? Maybe he liked to see Myra hunting? Looking to the dead boar and then to Darius again, she smiled towards him, with a proud expression. When she offered a piece for him though, he made a signal above his mouth, one Myra promptly understood. While she was initially a bit sad that he didn't want to eat the meat she caught, he pointed towards a tree, making the shape of a fruit with his hands. After seeing that though, her disappointed expression disappeared. That's why he didn't want to eat the meat, he ate plants, just like that boar and other animals that Myra hunted in the forest!

That explained a lot of things! That was the reason why he didn't have sharp teeth nor claws or even the spike shooting sticks or the metal ones. The reason why Myra thought he would have a hard time hunting was because he didn't hunt. He ate plants! Putting the bloody chunk of meat on her mouth and cleaning her hands afterwards, she stood up, going towards the tree he pointed to and climbing it in the blink of an eye. Since the tree wasn't really that high, Myra didn't even need to use her claws to climb, simply using her tail instead.

Looking now at the round fruits in front of her, Myra thought... Darius was big... Bigger than her... If he fed himself with fruits instead of meat, he would probably need a lot of them, right? After a brief while, Myra jumped down from the tree, with her arms full of fruits and even carrying an extra one in her mouth, holding it with her teeth as there was no space in her arms anymore.
Kneeling on the ground nearby Darius, she carefully put the fruits down in order to not open them or anything before she looked towards Darius again with a big, adorably innocent smile, almost like it was saying that now he had something to eat too as she waited for his approval before she continued eating the boar's meat.

Xenelith

Time: Midnight to Dawn
Location: Near the River Kingdom
Interaction with: Leandron of the Bleakwood Watchers

Xenelith collapsed against the tree. His remaining wolves had licked their wounds clean. Now nature would have to run its course and add to the myriad scars they already had. Still, Xenelith could imagine their dreams would be restless. One of their littermates was missing. Ferra fared worse. He had to stitch her wounds. Not an easy task with an animal that didn’t understand what was happening. She fought the urge to bite his hand off every time he went with the needle through her. Never the less she allowed him to finish. After he gave her a mixture of herbs to fight off the infection. After which she fell asleep. Now, exhausted he sat against the tree. Tired but he knew his duty was not yet done for the night.

From the saddlebags, he pulled out a pack of paper rolls and a charcoal pen. First, he drew the fox-like creature, or what he could remember from him. His fading memory began to take shape. The furry ears and humanoid form. He was nearing the end of the drawing when suddenly he had to cough. Blood splattered the paper. The Dark Elf pondered, as he ran his fingers across the blood pressing it into the paper if this was some omen from the magic he possessed. He had cursed the fox-thing with all his authority. As long as he would live, none of them were safe. Did his magic sense this and add to it? Or was this the price for something else. He clutched the black crystal cluster hanging from some twine around his neck. Inside he could sense the soul of his wolf. Cold, scared, confused. “Worry not, little one. I’ll make you whole again.” He doubted the animal could hear him. Perhaps he didn’t say it to sooth it in the first place.

It didn’t matter. He rolled up the parchment and got to work on the other portraits. The two brattish fairies were the easiest to draw. His mind had been fixated on them in the first place. Sweet and fragile. Like all of their kind. Unlike the others, they did not look like they had any real fight in them. Their clothes too gave him a sense of unbelonging. They were out of place at best. Dresses like that were no things to wear in a battle. He’d find their trail easy enough. The low grumble of a wolf sleeping next to him pulled him out of his seething trance. He petted the poor thing, hoping it would soothe his dreams. “Dream little one. You’ll get your brother back soon.” He softly said, as he rolled the two parchments up and begun working on the cowardly fairy and his human price. He’d have his head soon enough and the woman? She would be drowned as to prevent her fire from saving her. Finally was the armored warrior. Who quickly turned out to be a screaming fool. If you made that much noise that frequent, no doubt he could be found sooner rather than later.

In the end, he did not doubt his prey would be easy to found. That became the least of his worries. Quite uncomfortably he had to admit though that he was outnumbered. Too outnumbered. One of the humans knew at least somewhat how to fight. The fairy would be an annoyance too and the fox, well he had killed a wolf. No small feat really. He needed more and he would get them. As he sat on the edge of the forest and a field. In a few hours an Amoras would land here, giving him what he needed. For now, what he needed was sleep.

Hours later he was awakened by rotors.

“Lord Xenelith.” The Dark Elf slammed his fist against his chest in greeting as he stood at attention. Behind him, Dark Elves were unloading their supplies and steeds from the Amoras. “Leandron of the Bleakwood Watchers sir. We did not expect you here.” He said as an introduction.

“At ease. Leandron. I’m assuming you’re in charge of these men?” Xenelith asked. His wolves staying behind, at guard. Leandron nodded. “Good. What’s your mission?”

“Someone told us about some rebels in these forests, willing and able to summon humans. We’ve been send out as a vanguard to locate and capture the humans that might have arrived. We’re also charged with rooting out any rebels in the area.” The Dark Elf spoke quite formally but like with all Dark Elves Xenelith could see the glimmer of ambition in his eyes. He was not happy with having a commander here that would take all the credits.

He raised an eyebrow at the order to capture the humans. That was new information. “Yes, I’ve found them last night. I can confirm two humans in the surroundings. One pyromancer and another terramancer.” Leandron stiffened. Xenelith knew what was going through his mind: he was already late. “I’ve made sketches of the suspects.” He added, handing out the scrolls of paper on which were Kyran’s fox form, Risa, Dionaea, the armored human and the pyromancer. The one with Elthrael he kept for himself a little longer.

“Sir, I think these two fairies fit the names: Risa and Dionaea, wouldn’t you say so?” Leandron said as he held up their sketches.

Xenelith agreed. Female and those were the first he found. Helping a human. The third fairy was male and only came in later. “Yes. Good work. Gather where I am in ten minutes. I’ll give out the orders.”

Ten minutes later and several dark elves were squatting around Xenelith holding a stick over a map. “You will go to the fairy village here. Its where the two confirmed rebels come from. I want the parents of these fools in chains before dusk.” He said as he touched the stick on a village about an hour out.

One Watcher piped up: “What about the village sir?” There was an anxiousness in it. To Xenelith they were mere children. This was probably their first campaign. They were capable no doubt, but inexperienced. So he knew what they meant.

“We’re not razing villages to the ground. This is our lord’s kingdom still.” Xenelith said. “Is that understood?” Many of the Watchers nodded. Some didn’t. With such fledglings, it was sometimes hard to tell if they’d be stupid enough to disobey him. “Good. Remember, family and friends are your focus.” Though he would have to throw them a bone. “Make some theatrics when you take them. Make noise and make sure they shout and scream. You can do whatever you want. As long as they’re alive when they get here.” This brightened up the mood significantly. Some Watchers opened their mouth. Xenelith locked eyes with one. “Everything. Is. Allowed.” He added, drilling the message home. The questioning Watchers nodded and got up. Many were mounting their horses as fast as they could. Half an hour later thunderous hooves of a dozen Dark Elf riders traveled through the dirt road of the forest, heading towards Risa and Dionaea’s village.

"Oh shit, it worked! Charades champ right here!" Darius cheered as he watched Myra run to the exact tree he pointed to. He squinted his eyes for a moment. Is there really fruit up there? I was just making an example… Wish I knew how to make a fire instead though. I'm sure the meat might be decent if it was cooked.

Darius waited patiently for his new friend to return from the tree. He had lost sight of Myra as she climbed up the tree and could only see the ruffling of branches. When Myra was on her way back with such a large amount of fruit, Darius couldn't help but be amazed. As she carefully set them down, he leaned over from his seated position and grabbed one of the mysterious fruit. The skin and shape of the fruit reminded him of orange with how it felt, but it was pink in color. His eyes met Myra's as he smiled.

"Thanks Myra! I really hope these are good. I'll definitely owe you one. Nah, I'll owe you like three because I'm starving!" Darius exclaimed as he peeled the skin of the fruit in his hand which revealed the soft juicy inside. With a quick shrug, he moved in to take a small bite. "Mmmm! This is so good!" It was as sweet as candy to Darius and he enjoyed every minute of his feasting upon it. He stopped to spit a seed out and looked to Myra who was quietly watching him.

He smiled at her again to further assure her that the fruit was delicious and then pointed to one of the fruits and then to her mouth.

"Eat some. I call them Pinks! Because they're not orange. Ha!" Darius continued to dig in challenging the bulk of food and not caring about his really cringe joke. Myra wouldn't know how bad it was anyway. It was a great time for the pair, but good things don't last long.

"DARIUUUUUS!!!!!" Darius's eyes bulged open as he heard Skar's roar in the distance.

Kyran's form changed back to his more humanoid-self. The fur began to retreat backwards like a wave retreating from the sand, the red fur dissipating to reveal human skin, moving around his blue eyes slowly. His snout receded backward until it was once again a human nose and mouth. His red ears remained on top of his messy head of hair. To Jean-Luc, he would have looked like a human man parading around in fox ears and a tail. That was all that remained. "Good job, Hades. Thanks for getting help." he told the wolf. He would have petted his head but he was still carrying Risa. Hades would have probably taken it condescendingly anyway. Hades ran off in a direction and Dionaea gestured for them to follow. It seemed they were going somewhere a bit away from the village instead of directly backward. He guessed that Dionaea would translate what Hades had told them when they got there.

"Knight, do you have a name?" Kyran questioned Jean as he began his move after Dionaea and Hades. "I am going to need you to settle down for the night. A lot of things are going on right now and you are likely in shock from all of this. We will explain everything tomorrow when we wake up." He explained to him. Kyran hoped that Jean would not start yelling again. He was sure even he could tell that being loud would endanger them. He was wary of trusting this man to stay near his friends tonight but Jean did seem to want to defend them despite things.

Kyran looked down at Risa, making sure she was alright. The long-haired fairy was passed out like a baby as he carried bridal-style. She always pushed herself too hard. Her healing skills were very admirable for her age. Most healers could have not healed someone from near-death and then procceeded to heal Dionaea the away she did. Unfortunately, it would not aid her much in battle. She was going to need to learn offensive magic.

They had to go through some bristles, having to use both hands to push away branches and vines. They came to a secluded clearing. Dionaea slowed to a halt by Hades near a house within a very large tree. The trunk was enormous and there was a wooden door. It seemed to have no other houses in it. He moved over to open it up for everyone. Someone, probably Risa's mother, had left quite a few blankets. There were three beds in one corner of the one-roomed wooden home. There was a lit candle on a wooden table and chair set on the other. There wasn't much of a kitchen but there was a basket of food on the table. It seemed to be a lot of bread and fruits. There was a jar of jam as well.

Kyran moved over to one of the beds and laid Risa into it, her hair sprawling everywhere. He pulled the blanket on top of her and tucked her, kissing her on the forehead. Knowing Risa, she'd probably wake up hyper as ever and be fine. He glanced over at Dionaea and Jean. "Eat if you're hungry then let's get some rest. Try to keep quiet." His voice was hushed as he spoke. "I am going to get some rest I am worn out from my fox form." He said as he crawled into the bed beside Risa her falling asleep shortly after.

Helping move the girls, and soon with the help of the fox man thing, and directions of the girl and the wolf. They had made it to somewhat of a safe area. "It is Jean-Luc... I am a knight of the knights hospitallier... last I remember the french came over the horizon and I soon found myself in the land of witches, changlings and demons..." he said closing his eyes as he looked around.

"And I cannot eat after what I have been through changling." he said as he looked over at the two, "But she needs too, if there is bread grind it up and boil it in water to make porridge or something for her to eat. To me she at least looks weakened from what ever witch magic she used to mend me better then what I can do myself.. and far faster." he mumbled softly, "But feed her something. I should rest... but I think it would be best to find the creature that attacked... or see if there are any others in this world like myself and the burning witch. Maybe find a weapon and shield... Either of you know where a good blacksmith is?" he said looking down. He sat on one of the cots and leaned against the wall.

"We will be hunted, and rock is not the best material.. though this feels light, I do not know how durable this is in a sword and shield..."

"And tell me what the creature named after a demonic god of pagans said? I do not speak your language... I speak french, and some of the languages of the imperial lands..." he said mentioning Hades, he looked at those with him, and soon passed out sitting up, the shield and sword both shattering to pieces in his scabbard and hand, the stones and rocks falling around him on the bed and floor.

Myra watched with a satisfied smile as Darius took the fruits she got for him and started eating them. Only when he was already taking a bite of them, Myra tore another chunk of meat from the Boar's corpse, opening her mouth just a bit and eating it, while being careful to not get her face dirty with blood. Myra was very satisfied with the raw meat she was eating, but she couldn't help but stopping for a moment and observing Darius as he ate the fruits. He seemed to be so incredibly satisfied with the fruits that it was amusing to watch.

A moment after she did so, Darius pointed towards the fruits himself as he said something about them before continuing to eat them. Maybe he wanted Myra to taste them? While she doubted it would be better than boar meat, the way Darius was eating them, so voraciously, made Myra curious and as such, she took one from the pile herself, using the tip of her tail.

Cleaning the blood from her hand using her tongue, she grabbed the pink, soft fruit and analyzed it from up close. The moment she grabbed it, she realized that she had to be careful with them. They were so soft that if she held them too tightly, her fingers would dig inside the fruit. It had an interesting sweet smell and was apparently filled with juices inside. After analyzing it for a bit, Myra took a small bite to see how it was. Both the consistency and it's taste were completely different from meat. Even though Darius seemed to like it, it was simply to sweet for Myra.

Shaking her head, Myra spat the fruit, sticking her tongue out of her mouth. Strangely enough, the fruit had such a strong, sweet flavor for Myra's palate that it still lingered on her tongue even after she didn't have any fruit in her mouth anymore. Putting the fruit on the ground, separated from the pile where Darius was eating, she looked at him again still sticking with her tongue out of her mouth, a clear indication that those fruits weren't exactly her type of food.

As she took another chunk of meat to her mouth in order to wash the strange taste from the fruit, she heard a roar on the distance, making her immediately stop eating, licking her hand clean and assuming a posture similar to the one she had when hunting. With her tongue sticking out of her mouth, Myra looked towards the direction where the roar came from. The smell was similar to one of those mean green things that she sometimes saw. Even though she could simply avoid any confrontation by either using her speed or her invisibility, Darius obviously wouldn't be able to do the same. Not only that, but Myra recognized what the roar said, it was calling for Darius...

Showing both the claws on her hand and the ones on her feet, Myra kept track of the scent from the green thing. It was getting closer, it probably was after Darius. Immediately dashing towards Darius, Myra grabbed his hand, gently pulling him away from the voice and further inside the forest. While she was capable enough to protect Darius from whatever the mean green giant wanted, she would rather avoid any unnecessary confrontation, as she continued pulling Darius hand, clearly telling him to run away with her.

Although Inori was a powerful ally he was also a creature Cade did not feel he could trust, and with the sun elves possibly providing assistance he could feel more at easy around creatures of light. He continued on without the demon until the city was within sight; smaller homes and structures in the foreground with its taller and more ornate buildings further back stretching up towards the sky. The forest was clearing away and the light of the new day now lit up the beautiful kingdom of elves. As a cat, Cade was used to staying up most of the night and through dawn, midday when the sun was high was his preferred time for sleeping anyways. He did not know if the same was true for his new traveling companion, he did not know much about humans; what they ate or how often they needed to sleep, but due to the similarities they shared with elves he assumed they functioned similarly. Cade was already thinking about food, traveling all night had made him hungry and much of the elven food was quite good, but it was more important to make sure the human was taken care of first.

“The gates of the Sun Elf Kingdom,” Cade said gesturing up ahead. “we can get some food if you’re hungry, there are a few inns if you need some rest, or we could go seek council with the elders here. If the elves are the ones who summoned you hopefully there is more to their plan than just bringing you here.” He said nearing the entrance. At least he hoped they had more of a plan that just summoning a human although Cade couldn’t really figure out what their plan would be, he was never very good with planning. He was hoping they at least had forces enough to go against the lich, but that seemed doubtful. “Perhaps the elves can show you how to use magic as well.” He added, that at least seemed likely.

Kenia was swiftly leading the group away when she took notice of a large creature flying towards them. What was coming now? Another dragon? Were they seriously going to have to run from two dragons now? Just as she was about to shout something, she watched a rider come tumbling off of the dragon’s back while the dragon continued on to confront the dracolich. Poor creature didn’t look like it would stand a chance against the undead dragon.

That’s when her eyes fell on the blonde haired Light Elf that had fallen off the dragon’s back. She watched as he swiftly gathered his arrows and called out to her group. Wait...did he just call her elf girl?! She was quite clearly a woman, she was even willing to bet she was older than this male. Irritation boiled inside of her, but now wasn’t the time. She needed to get everyone to safety. She did spare a moment for a snarky remark. ”Keep running? No, I thought it would be perfectly safe to stop running now that you’re here!” There was heavy sarcasm in her tone as she continued leading them along.

She was leading them all towards the base of some mountains where she knew there would be a decent cave to hide in for a short while. That way they could all get some proper rest with minimal chance of being found. So she ran as swiftly as possible, hoping everyone was able to keep up. After a decent amount of time running they made it to the cave and she quickly ushered them all inside. She took only a short moment to catch her breath before she whirled on the elf male. Almost as if in the blink of an eye she had a dagger out and had grasped Malachi by the shirt, pressing the dagger to his throat. ”Call me an elf girl again and I’ll make sure you will forever be known as merely a boy and never a man. She hissed at him, giving him a glare before pulling the knife away and taking half a step back. She kept the weapon in her hand, however, just in case. ”Now who are you? I’m assuming you are an ally as you helped us escape the dracolich?”

A dark haired, terrifying beauty made her way silently through the halls of the Necropolis. The tip of her black wings delicately dragged behind her as she made her way towards her destination. Azriel had been summoned along with her mentor and partner, Umber, to meet with Aklenroth. She had agreed to meet Umber there and so it was a rare sight to see her alone. She carried her sword at her side along with keeping her shield strapped to her back for the time being.

There had been talk of humans returning to their lands and rumor had it Aklenroth felt threatened by them. Of course Azriel would never be one to speak of the rumor that their Dark King feared something and she pitied the fools who would speak such things aloud. There was also word that the humans had started some fires in the forests. If they were capable of that, then perhaps they were a danger.

She entered the war room and knelt before Aklenroth, bowing her head to her king. ”My lord, I have come at your request. What would you have your Wraiths do?” She asked him, her voice a uniquely haunting sound that some may be considered beautiful to some while unsettling to others. She knew Umber wouldn’t be far behind her in showing up, she wondered what assignment Aklenroth would give them.

"DARIUUUUUS!!!!!"

Skar was already on the move. Despite her size, her movements were fluid as she maneuvered through the trees and brush on the forest. She took a whiff of the air to keep on track with Darius and the creature accompanying him. Skar was pissed at herself for assuming Darius would listen or that something else wouldn't try to take him. Now he was gone and… Skar didn't even know what was going on. Based on the tracks, someone or something was with him.

Skar figured Darius was likely alive which wasn't too bad, but she would never trust leaving him alone again. He can't hide… can't fight… can't stay in one place!

Skar picked up the smell of fresh blood, which caused her brows to furrow. If she could have moved faster, she would have upon picking up the scent. She thought the worst until she stopped in her tracks at the sight of a boar that seemed to have been hunted by some sort of predator. The boar was also surrounded by the pink fruit Darius had been eating just moments ago. It was an odd discovery.a She got ready to bellow his name again. Skar was more sure that he was alive now.

"Skar!" Darius shouted as he clumsily moved through the brush. Darius turned to the thick vegetation behind him to speak through it to Myra. "Trust me. I can talk to her. Come on, we'll be fine." Darius tried to assure Myra who had tried to save him from Skar's wrath. He even forced a smile. "It's my turn to do something." Darius turned back to Skar who hadn't moved from where the dead boar lied. Her fierce eyes were on Darius and whatever was beginning to come through the brush with him.

"Should kill you here, human! Skar told you to stay hidden! To wait! You ca-" Skar was interrupted.

"NO! Skar what the fuck are you even saying?! I DID hide and I DID wait! You were the one that didn't come back until now! Look!" The seemingly angered man pointed down at what was left of the boar and fruit on the ground. "I needed to eat, so my new friend Myra and I went to get food. We were going to try to get something else before heading back to my spot…" Darius sighed. Keep it up. Just a little more. Darius could see Skar had been initially taken aback by his retort and was beginning to hold a softer expression as she listened to him. "I have to eat. If I don't eat, I get weak. If I get weak, I'm useless. Plus, I found us a new friend." Darius stated this calmly. Skar let out a low grunt, as she had no argument against his. There was still one thing that bothered her. She sniffed the air and her hard expression returned as she identified Myra for what she was.

"The demon can't live… Demons ally with the Dark Lord. She is a spy or will be one. Step aside human. We must stay hidden from demons, from dark elves, from orcs." Skar swiftly drew her axes.

"Whoa! No! You're not going to just kill Myra! She's not a demon and she's not like that!" Darius wasn't acting this time around. However, Skar was set on dispatching Myra here and now. Skar snarled.

"Step aside! Skar went to backhand him to toss him aside and potentially knock him out so he wouldn't be able to interfere with her attempt to slay Myra

"Stop! Darius put his hands up in defense from Skar's attack. A torrent of water suddenly fired from Darius' hands. The blast of water was powerful enough to push her off her feet and go crashing into a tree. "What the fuck?! I… I shot you with water!" Darius stared at his hands as Skar picked herself up from the ground. She appeared to be just as surprised but regained her composure quickly. Skar's grip tightened around her axe handles as she faced Darius.

"Move." Skar's demand caused Darius to break away from his state of awe. Focus, Darius. He stood his ground and readied his hands at his side.

"Still thirsty huh?" Darius wore a smirk on the surface, but was still concerned with Myra. Skar took off to his right to get around him. Darius aimed his hands to attack again. "Nope!" Darius said as Skar instinctively juked to Darius' left while ducking from where his hands aimed. She planned to close the gap and take him out before dealing with the demon. She was surprised to see Darius use his powers, but not surprised with the element he inherited. Darius hadn't even shot out water. No handle on power. The orc wasn't worried in the slightest. Her eyes met his, and to her surprise, he had remained confident and his hands were still aimed at her.

A blast of water knocked Skar off balance and sent her tumbling across the grass.

"I can do this with you alllll day Skar. Just trust me. I'll be responsible for her." Skar stood up and moved her damp hair from her face. She was uncomfortably soaked now.

"And if demon kills you?" Skar got up again

"She would have already. She found me sleeping and you haven't been around for hours. If she wanted to kill me, I'd look like the boar right here!" Darius readied his hands again. He had a better handle than he thought he'd have. "You claimed me right? Well, I claim her. She's mine. Okay?" Darius kept his eyes on Skar's. With a grunt she placed her axes on her back.

"I will accept." Skar wouldn't look at Darius. She could have gotten him out of the way if she tried again, but Darius seemed like he would be a problem she managed to harm the demon. Skar needed Darius, so she could give in this time.

"Really?" Darius let his guard down. "Thanks Skar… Looks like you get to kick it with us Myra. Well that's if you want to." Darius wasn't sure how much of what he said Myra would grasp, but he was just happy to say it.

Umber silently floated through the entry into Aklenroth's War Room. His focus was on the Lich King.

"Apologies for the wait my lord. My age must be slowing me down. Azriel and I are ready to be deployed to any location you see fit for your Wraiths." Umber did not bow and instead crossed both pairs of his arms over his chest and floated with his feet just inches above the floor. "I hear that we have humans in our world again… It is true and you are deeply displeased with… The elves. Azriel's favorite prey. He rage still hungers for their spilled blood, even now at this moment Lord Aklenroth." Umber was already picking up the emotions and thoughts flowing in the room whilst he used his words to stir them up and make them surface.

He was lifted up with the turret, be felt the searing pain but only for a second. He looked down at the ground as the tanks bull was spewing flames and scrapnel up into the sky towards him. He heard cheering and yelling from below him and he saw the sun rise and disappear.

Was he dead, do you take what was with you into death?

His eyes closed as he saw the moon once more as the turret landed on its bottom in the middle of the road. He was thrown down into the turret array as the last flickering shells went off around him. The main cannon fired and exploded on itself as it was bent, the loud crack and boom echoing for miles and miles to come. He sat there in the heated turret as it slowly cooled itself off.

He looked down and he was perfectly fine, his cloths and all. He noticed his MP 40 was crushed underneath where the Gunner would have sat. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes as he leaned on the back of his chair.

His head did hurt but there was no mark from the fire, he just have gotten some form of head injury, and he was thankful he was relatively unharmed and he hadn't hit many parts of the inside of the tank. But he wondered, why didn't the spitting flames harm him or what was around him.

He poked his head out of the turret and sunk back in as he found the small kit used for mending wounds and he took out what was left of the pills before taking them. He found what was left of the ration. That he was saving for a prolonged patrol, some chocolate, a pound of horse, and small loaf of bread. This was not Berlin.

He stayed inside the turret looking about through his hatch, with only a knife to protect himself and maybe a wrench if he looked hard enough, he had a leather bound copy of Mein Kampf, that would not do much. He would make his way out when it became dark or once he regained the courage to do so. He must keep the Reich going.

Time: Morning.
Location: Close to The Sun Elf Kingdom.
Interactions: Cadence @Helo and Inori @Shard.

While Ayita didn't trust Inori that much, he had, in fact, maintained his promise, taking her until the border of the Sun Elf Kingdom. Even though the reason for why the first demons allied themselves with Aklenroth was unknown even for Inori, it was clear that he despised Aklenroth to great extents. Not only that but his relationship with his own kin didn't seem to be one of the best, judging by what he had said. Despite the brief time she spent together with Inori, she observed some interesting and potentially valuable aspects regarding Demons... While long term alliance was highly improbable, she could trust demons if she had objectives in common with them or was against someone they had a particularly strong hate against. While their nature was highly unpredictable, there are a few aspects that she now knew, both thanks to Inori's words and her own observations, that she could trust... or better, use.

"Thank you for your assistance, Inori. The information you gave me was indeed highly valuable." Ayita said, with a respectful nod.

"My people have no words in their language like a good bye or a farewell. Such words are too final, to definitive. That said..." Ayita said, talking a little bit about her people back on earth to Inori.

"Stiyu, Be strong." Ayita said, closing her right hand and placing it above her heart in a firm gesture, before they parted ways.

While he was indeed a... shady and exotic character, she could feel his hate as he spoke about Aklenroth. If she ever met him again, she at least knew that he wouldn't be an enemy.

After some walking with Cade, they were finally arriving on the Sun Elf Kingdom. The city's gates were ahead of them, as Cade stopped to talk with her, mentioning that he knew a few inns to rest, some places to get food or if she wanted to go directly to the council to talk with the elders. Apparently, it was the right choice to trust on Cade regarding guiding Ayita.

"I would like to have something to eat. I don't know if we will have time or opportunity anytime soon if we go directly to the council. That said... I must apologize as I have no means to pay for any food..." Ayita said, apologizing to Cade once again, as she had no means of repaying him or even paying for her own food.

"After we feed, it would be good to go seek the council. As a human in Avalia, it is evident that I am in dire need of powerful allies. It would be good if they can show me how to use whatever ability I received after coming to Avalia too." Ayita said to Cade.

"Changing subjects, I am curious to see how the Sun Elf Kingdom is inside. You told me quite a bit about it before, didn't you?" Ayita said, with a discreet smile towards Cade. She was indeed curious to see how the city was inside. Cade had spoken about it with such enthusiasm that it made her quite curious and anxious to see it.

Seeing how Darius refused to follow Myra, she reluctantly let go of him, using her camouflage to go invisible as she gave a few steps away, until she was behind a bush, looking to where the mean green giant was coming according to it's scent. Finally revealing itself, Myra was surprised when she noticed that the green giant was a female. Despite that, she didn't seem to be that happy with Darius... Still invisible, Myra got out from behind the bush, her claws showing as she sneaked, circling the green giant with a safe distance. If it showed itself aggressive towards Darius, Myra wouldn't hesitate in putting it down.

As it was expected, the green giantess was almost shouting at Darius, definitely not happy at him. Judging by the few words Myra understood from the green giantess, she said something about hiding to Darius, maybe he wanted him to hide and stay in one place? Despite that, when Darius interrupted her and said a few things back, mentioning a words Myra knew very well, which was eating, the green giantess immediately drew her axes, making Myra immediately assume a hunting posture.

While it seemed that both her and Darius thought she was still behind the bush, it was clear that the green giantess wanted to slay her. Myra already expected something like that to happen, after all, it was incredibly difficult to see one of those green giants solving any situation without violence. Myra was still only observing but the very second the green giantess raised her hand at Darius, Myra was ready to pounce directly at her throat. The only reason she didn't do it was thanks to Darius' shout and the torrent of water that came out from his hands the moment he did so, sending the green giantess rolling through the ground.

While Darius himself did seem to be as surprised as the green giantess or Myra herself, it wasn't enough to fully stop her from advancing, albeit it did make her a bit wary as she visibly tried to move away from where Darius was aiming with his hands. After one more water blast though, the green giantess finally sheathed her weapons, much like Darius dropped his guard, indicating that the conflict was over. Unlike Darius though, Myra didn't exactly trust the green giant that much.

Undoing her invisibility, Myra shown herself to be in a completely different position than both of them thought she was. Not only that, but her posture, showing both her hand and feet claws, were a clear indication that she was still ready to attack at the slightest movement. Even though she wasn't showing her teeth and had her mouth closed (other than sticking the tip of her tongue out from time to time) even the green giant would be able to know that the demon wasn't exactly weak, judging by both the hole on the boar carcass' throat and even more due to her invisibility.

While Myra was indeed surprised to see that Darius was able to defend himself to an extent, she was still sure he wouldn't be able to stop the green giantess if she charged at him out of nowhere.

When Myra appeared from her camouflaged state, Darius looked as if he had egg on his face. Especially since he didn't think she had moved so close to the conflict. The major issue here was that Myra looked like she was ready to pounce on Skar.

"Oh no. Myra it's done. We're not fighting anymore!" Darius moved in the path between the two. Skar just looked down at Myra coldly. The orc had decided against killing Myra, but would not pass up a fight if the pale demon engaged her. Darius' presence was equivalent to a paper wall that had words condemning violence on it. Darius would agree with that analogy. Darius looked up at Skar who he knew could understand all of his words. "Skar please don't escalate this.' Skar gruffed and turned away from Myra. She grabbed a portion of her thick black hair and rung it out onto the grass.

"You are responsible for demon. Hurry up."

"Okay can you please stop calling her that. She's a nice little… She's too adorable to be a demon."

"She is a demon. All come in many forms. She almost looks like demihuman… almost. Calm her or I will do it permanently."

Darius sighed as he looked back and forth at Myra and Skar. I hope no one kills anyone today. Darius was visibly concerned, but slowly approached Myra.

"Myra…" Darius said softly as held out his hand for her to take it and forced a smile. "It's okay. Take my hand… Trust me." Darius still didn't know how much Myra understood, but he had to make an attempt.

Risa did not wake up early often but today, she had been the first one to wake. Her eyes had fluttered open to the dimmed room, her vision being slow to register objects around her. So instead, she stared up at the wooden ceiling. It was familiar, but it was not her home. She furrowed her brows, resting her arms on the soft blanket on her body. Information was downloading to her brain as she recalled the night before. It took everything not to yelp out in surprise as the last situation she remembered being awake in made adrenaline course through her veins. She looked around wildly, her gaze fixating on the nearby red bunch of hair a few inches away from her. She turned on her side to stare at Kyran. He seemed to be in good health. Poor guy was passed out, exhausted. They had not slept in the same bed since they were kids but it did not feel uncomfortable. She felt closer to Kyran and Dionaea than her own parents sometimes. She pulled the blanket up over his shoulder to keep him warm. She rubbed his cheek for a moment and smiled.

Slowly, she began to dislodge herself from the blankets and place her bare feet onto the wooden floor. She was careful and dainty with her steps. The cool touch of the wood to her bare feet made her shudder. Risa glanced around. Hades was missing but he always went in and out of areas. He never sat still. She was sure he was informing her parents. Dionaea looked like Sleeping Beauty herself, tucked into her bed with her lovely blonde hair falling off the pillow. The human was asleep sitting up, probably tuckered out from the long night.

Poor soul. She thought sympathetically. It was quite cruel now that she really thought of it. He had been plucked out of his world and thrown into theirs. Maybe if things had been different, he could have appreciated the wonderful magic and life that Avalia possessed. It was hard not to enjoy. There were sights he could never behold in his world that Risa had felt so blessed to be able to lay her eyes on. However, this man had been thrown into violence and cruelty immediately. Still, he had come here close to near-death so maybe he felt better off here.

Risa had never healed someone so terribly hurt before. In different circumstances, her mother and teachers would have been so proud. Though she was sure her mother would have worried over putting her life in danger for a stranger. Despite it, Risa felt pretty good this morning. She often did not need much sleep to shake off the weariness. Perhaps all the practice of healing small creatures in the forest had really worked out in her favor. Risa could not turn away any animal in need, not even an insect.

The young fairy moved over toward the door, opening it only a crack so the sunlight would not pour in and wake her friends. After squeezing her slim body through the crack, she shut it behind her. Her waist-length, rosy hair billowed out in the morning breeze, appearing larger in mass due to the petite body it was attached to. The sun was barely peeking out over the horizon through the trees. It was dawn. The sky was a beautiful assortment of hues of warm colors that contrasted the greenery around them. The sounds of birds chirping and other creatures waking up for the day could be heard. Peace could be found in even the darkest of times.

Risa took a deep breath, letting the peace move her to better emotions before she moved back into the tree home. It only took a quick sweep of her eyes to know that this had been her brother's secret home. He had used this more secluded home to get away and do his studies in private. Their parents owned a few homes here and there. She would never brag or speak of it, but her family was one of the wealthier ones due to their royal ancestry. Her mother had been a princess a hundred years back. Her grandfather had been king of the River Fairy Kingdom.

The aroma of sweetbreads quickly lured Risa toward the table. She began to unload the basket as quietly as possible, arranging breakfasts for everyone. Berries were equally placed into four plates first. Then, Risa sliced up apples to place in everyone's plates. That took a bit of time but then she began to busy herself with the jam. It was a sweet yet tangy raspberry and ludiberry, a fruit native to Avalia, mix. She spread it out on a couple of pieces of the white, spongy bread. She would have loved to bake it for them but they did not seem to have an oven. The last thing in the basket seemed to be about a dozen eggs. "Oh dear," She whispered under her breath. These would have to be cooked.

She stood up with the eggs with a pout. Risa then recalled a memory of a firepit arranged behind the home, grabbing a black pot. She tip-toed out of the home once again to the outdoors. She ran to the other side of the house once outside and crouched down by the circle of rocks. There was some firewood thankfully in the middle and also by the back of the tree, stacked up. She got to work starting a fire, something she was terrible at. It had taken her thirty minutes to figure it out. She began to arrange some sticks and a plank of wood to create something fit to boil her eggs on. Water had been necessary of course, so Risa had hurried over to a nearby lake to fill the pot before putting the eggs in.

Risa brought the boiled eggs soon after and began to arrange them onto everyone's plates. She couldn't wait to surprise everyone with the breakfast she had prepared! Her mother had taught her there was no better way to show love than with a meal. It would make them all feel better after a long night. Her own stomach began to rumble at the different smells of the food but she knew she had to wake for the others to awaken. She decided to go and sit outside so she didn't have to stare at the delicious food while she waited. Risa kept the door a crack open so that she would hear when they awoke.

The grass was cool yet comforting to sit in. Risa laid her legs out and leaned against the trunk of the tree, her eyelids shut as she relaxed. Seemingly loud tweeting filled her ear, making her eyes open. A yellow canary sat on her shoulder, tilting his head at her. "Oh sweetums," Risa cooed and began to gently move the back of her index finger over his belly. "You always find me, my beautiful boy." She giggled at his happy chirps in reaction, continuing to pet him as she awaited the others. Risa hummed quietly a song to the bird, knowing how much he enjoyed music.
