Elthrael and Risa
Time: Morning
Location:Beach near Roshmi Risa shook her head in disagreement.
"Jean told Kyran to lead us there. It had been the plan. He knew what he was doing and where to go. I've known him since I can remember. He's very trustworthy, don't worry!" She had no doubt in her mind that she could trust Kyran. However, she knew Elthrael did not know him well and that was why perhaps he had his doubts.
She fixed the dress over her body, thanking him for his aid as she did so .
"I'm not in a rush! I left my friends a note." However, Risa knew she’d have to return soon since they would soon worry. She was sure they’d be happy to see Elthrael return with her.
Elthrael looked Risa over and nodded softly.
"I see. Perhaps I've been misjudging him." He said with a smiling face, then leaned in close to Risa, his hand still on her waist as he hadn't let her slide the dress down fully yet. He began to move the other hand to place it at her chest.
"You have indeed a fine dress. But I can feel a good heart in there too... which desires freedom." He said softly, then allowed his hand to slide over a part of her chest where it shouldn’t be.
"But I'm sure there's more than meets the eye about you, despite what you can see with your eyes be pleasing indeed. There's no need to be shy." He said teasingly, his right hand at her waist, changed location to her rear.
Risa’s face became as red as a tomato. She never had someone touch her so intimately before, not even Cloud. Though it felt nice, she was not sure it was proper for them to do this.
“Elthrael, we’ve just met. I’m not so sure it is proper you touch me like this.” She told him gently, moving a bit forward from his grasp and turning to face him.
”These are lovers’ actions, are they not?” Elthrael kept his smile as he watched Risa turn around and make a small distance after the touch, her face showing heavy blushing which in turn he found highly enjoyable.
"Not sure? But it feels good doesn't it? How can that be bad hm? You worry too much~" He said and leaned a bit closer, looking at her face now, being slightly taller than her.
"My, you do look great in red." He said softly, pointing to her face with his free hand. Then spoke again in a softer tone.
"I wonder if a kiss would make it go away..." He said ponderous, winking one eye before leaning in again.
He was trying to kiss her again, his right hand would find its way to her waist again and his left towards her rear. His hand at her waist would softly nudge her, teasingly so.
Risa giggled nervously in reaction to his touching. It tickled and made her jolt away a bit.
“Well, yes. But it’s for lovers.”She poked his nose when he tried to kiss her.
“Have you fallen for me, Elthrael?” She inquired, moving away and fluttering her wings to levitate her a bit off the ground.
She was playful herself and didn’t exactly hate it, but she did not want to be taken advantage of. It was possible that Elthrael had gotten over-excited from catching her bathing. It was best she took some space so that he’d listen to her objection.
Elthrael was pleased by her nervous giggles, in his mind, they were indeed very attractive.
"Oh?" He said aloud, looking at her nervous step-back after poking him at the nose, causing him to blink his eyes.
"Fallen for you? And what if I have?" He said with a slight smirk, his head tilted to the side as he saw her taking flight.
"After all, whom could state otherwise? Seeing a young princess so early in the morning, bathing and talking with the fishes? Your body, mind and persona seems to be well connected with one another and emits true beauty indeed. To not act is to show disrespect to your very being..." He added, looking her over as he adjusted his pose, placing one finger at his lips. Then he spread his wings wide and took flight himself and placed himself in front of her.
"A capable flier too? May I ask for a reward if I catch you?" The dark winged fairy asked with a sly grin.
“Ah, but there is so much for us to learn about each other still. Love is a very strong proclamation.“Risa explained to him. Though she did believe in love at first sight, she had a feeling he just enjoyed her appearance, not truly knowing her persona enough quite yet. She smiled at him as she listened to his words.
“That’s very kind of you to say. Thank you Elthrael. I’m sure you are wonderful yourself. I’d just like to get to know you more.” She smirked and gave him a playful, thoughtful look.
“Catch me? I must warn you I’m fast. What is the reward you request?” Risa loved to play games.
"Oh, I am just speaking the truth. If you wish to learn more of me, then you need to approach not fly away..." He said softly with a smile on his lips, he was enjoying this conversation, in his daily routine this was a very good day.
Not often had he encountered fairies of a beauty like Risa had, and never a royal descendant. So this was indeed something very special. Her words of love however was something unfamiliar to him, he had never pondered on the idea of love. While there were things he could deem to love to do, he had never pondered on the idea if he actually ever loved anyone, or even was capable of loving anyone. His actions were more primal and instinctive. Though within his own code of living. All creatures of Avalia had such a code, even the lich king himself had a code he would never break no matter what forces would pull at him.
"The reward I request? Is to give you a secret reward... " He gave a sly grin, his pointed corner teeth showing as he made a bowing motion, his entire face screaming of mischief.
“I would love to know more about you.”Risa told him with a smile.
“I am very grateful for your bravery and kindness towards us.” Elthrael was a very interesting person to her. She had never met anyone with his personality and his appearance alone even set him apart from other fairies. Risa was very empathetic and saw the good in others, but she was also very perceptive of emotions because of it. She wondered what his motives were.
“A secret reward?”Risa repeated with amusement.
“I think you want to kiss me again. I think you’re very silly.” She giggled as she spoke. A sudden growl made her giggling halt and she glanced toward the beach. Hades the wolf was seated in the sand, looking quite unpleased.
“Oh dear. You may recall Hades. He’s a family friend. “”We should return to the others.” The stern voice would be audible to both of them.
"Then we do have things in common, as I do find you to be utmost interesting. Like someone whose rebelling against a destiny already written for her." He said in a soft tone, his hood flying off and his white hair would begin to flow in the air. There were some question marks forming in his head however. How far would this girl be willing to tread? She was openly involved in illegal matters sentenced by death by the lich king. At that rate she would not live long unless she had allies helping her, the same could be said for any other being. Her nature of being of royal blood did make the dark winged fairy to ponder. Could he somehow aid in putting her on the throne? The thought was strange, but oddly appealing.
Dethrone Aklenroth and put Risa on the throne, she would visually be a fair and well liked queen. But each queen would need a king. Someone to do what she could not. Someone with the ambition, someone with the means. Someone like... The fairy allowed a smirk to decorate his face, as he held out his hand towards her.
"You are certainly something special. Also the secret reward would not be a kiss..." He said in a sly manner, followed by a low chuckle. That's when the sound of a growl drew their attention, some half-mangy mutt was over by the beach.
'Oh? What's this? A guardian? How bothersome...' He thought then turned to Risa with a smile.
"Tell me, young princess. Do you always do what others tell you to do? I thought you the kind who'd wish for greater freedom... flying is pretty free don't you think?" The dark winged fairy grinned, as he threw a glance towards the wolf at the beach then back to Risa.
“I don’t believe anyone’s destiny is written for them.”Risa disagreed softly,
“We write our own. We choose who we are and what we become through our actions.” She hated the idea of her life being chosen for her. It was time that things were done on her own terms.
She observed him for a moment. He seemed to be deep in his thoughts. One day, she’d figure out what he was up to. Risa had glanced at Hades and sighed. It was like having her parents follow her around sometimes. He was always chastising her and protecting her. Still, she loved him and did not blame him for it.
“Yes Hades, wouldn’t you agree?”Risa teasingly called to Hades, regarding Elthrael’s words, to which he seemed to grumble incomprehensibly in retort. She glanced back over at Elthrael to formally reply to him,
“ I do what I want while giving respect to the thoughts of those I care about I suppose. I’m sure Hades is worried about us being outside too long and getting caught into trouble. This area is pretty void of others so I’m not too worried. Also, flying is very freeing! I don’t know what I’d do if I'd been born without wings.” .
Elthrael listened patiently as Risa spoke, nodding in agreement.
"Well said... a life not liven is a life wasted I'd say." The golden eyed fairy said as he threw a glance towards Hades again, then back to Risa.
"Oh he need not worry, you are in a safe embrace." He said as he hovered abit closer to place his hand at her shoulder.
"Caught you." He said with a smile on his lips. Whilst he considered himself a very serious person at times, he wasn't above to join games or the kind. If there were amusement or otherwise to be had.
"Let's use our freedom to relocate ourselves someplace where your guardian isn't putting his sniffing nose, shall we? You are an adult young woman after all..." He gave a somewhat warm smile, with a tilt of his head to the young woman.
"Shall we?" He looked over towards a large stone formation further away from the beach.
Risa giggled as he tagged her.
“I didn’t get to fly away but that’s okay. You can be the winner.” She listened as he spoke thoughtfully. He seemed to want to go to the rocks further way. Risa wasn’t sure why he didn’t like Hades there, but she decided maybe they just needed to meet.
“Aw, I think you’d like Hades if you got to pet him. Go give him a good pet. He’s a good boy!” She flew over to Hades and knelt beside him to hug him. He looked grumpy but allowed her to do so. Risa proceeded to wave him over, grinning wide.
“Come on, I know you want to pet him.” “You may pet me. However, I insist we go soon if possible. You may be safe for the meantime here but the others will come looking for us and it will endanger them as well. "Ahh, in that case we should-" Elthrael raised his eyebrows as Risa sped away in the air, she was quicker than he thought she would be. She wanted him to pet her speaking wolf.
'Tch.' If there was something Elthrael knew was to not pet wolves.
"I'd rather not pet this creature. However perhaps you'd make a fine pet instead? I mean... to pet." Elthrael corrected himself, as he gradually hovered closer to the wolf and Risa.
"That's a compromise, I'd pet you instead." He got a sly look on his face as he hovered close, trying to pat Risa on her head, while at the same time keeping an eye at the wolf.
”He’s a big sweetheart, but it’s okay if you’re scared.”She replied with a giggle, allowing him to pet her head instead.
Risa stood up after she had finished giving Hades attention and turned to Elthrael.
”Follow me back to the others. Elsea will be so happy to see you!” She exclaimed,
”I am going to take flight. Hades, we’ll see you there. Thank you for coming to check on me!” She began to hover and take flight, slowing down until Elthrael caught up with her.
“Oh?” He said aloud as he took flight after Risa, he couldn’t allow some spoiled princess outfly him. But he was intrigued to meet with any of the survivors of that encounter some time past.
‘So Elsea survived? Guess that good for nothing male human had some use after all…’ He shook his head slightly, then provided a smirk.
“Better not look down on my flying skills… Hah!” He burst up into the air at high speed to try catch up with Risa, who had the nerve to take a cheating start.
”I get the slight feeling that your fur ridden other companion is not going to be overly pleased at my arrival…” He said aloud then went inwards with his thoughts.
‘Though that thought is highly appealing.’
