THE RULES OF JUMANJI
1. You will be rolling on the Discord server, using our dice bot and typing in !roll 2d6. Be sure to tag me when you do.
2. Only one person in each pair has to roll when it is that pair's turn, first person is the one who gets it.
3. I'll then be rolling to see what outcome you get and messaging you, as well as include a paragraph for the effects. You need to include the rhyme that I will be sending you in your post, and the part that I send you will go at the end of your post and is not to be included when talking about your limits for how much you need to write.
4. There might be an instance (only one I can immediately think of) where I might bump the roll for movement on the game board to be one higher or lower, but only if it comes to that. (there are story reasons as to why this would be the case)
5. Only one pair can roll the dice per round. This is so that the game doesn't end in a few rounds and you can't speed roll for it to make it go more quickly like that. However for some it might be more of 2 or 3 rounds before someone can roll again.
Once the turn order has been decided (the first full round of game play will be determining the order) I will be including it here. And if your pairing's names are bolded, that means that it is your turn.
- Mary and Bethany (the Jade Monkey)
Remember, the only way to win and have it end is when a game piece reaches the center of the board and the winners call out Jumanji

"I really do not want to be partnered up with the idiot who is constantly high and who I'm surprised hasn't found some way to get herself killed," Mira muttered as she headed into the living room with everyone else, and saw that Lance was walking into the room and setting down the board game on the coffee table, waiting for everyone else to show up. "A game sent to us by Loki, either we play it and potentially die, or Loki just randomly starts killing people, it is kind of a no win scenario," she said towards Neil and Carolina when they showed up finally.
Guina you need to get your head out of the clouds sometimes, the entire world does not revolve around you. Loki has messed with people just because he was freaking bored and if he was pissed off at your dad feel like he'd specifically find a way to mind control you and make you kill him or something, Pietro said to her rather bluntly, not even trying to hide how he felt about that entire idea, but he wasn't entirely wrong. There were probably way better ways for Loki to mess with Guin to get back at Tony, and a board game was not the best one. Despite what you and your dad sometimes think, the world does not revolve around the Stark family, at all. He added as he led her into the living room where everyone else was gathered.
"Okay now that everyone is here we can try to get this little game over with I guess," Lance muttered, opening the box again and pulling out the game pieces. He wasn't too thrilled with his partner option all things considering, since he knew that Neil didn't really care much for him and probably more or less hated him it felt like. So to say that the game was going to be interesting was an understatement. Pretty sure Loki was trying to create as much chaos with these pairings. Once the game was setup and everyone had picked their pieces, he stepped back and shoved his hands into his pockets. "So... Who wants to go first?"
"I guess if Bethany doesn't mind it, we can see about going first," she with a shrug, looking at the Jade Monkey figure that was her and Bethany's piece on the board. Picking up the two six sided dice that came with the game, she looked at them for a moment, before shaking them a bit in her hand and rolling them, resulting in a 9 on the dice. The instant the dice hit the board though, there was a loud shockwave that blasted throughout the room that everyone would easily feel, and once the shockwave had vanished the Jade Monkey figure moved on it's own along the board.
"What the hell was that?" she couldn't help but ask, before the mist in the orb at the center started to swirl, before turning into letters and forming the riddle.
A tiny bite can make you itch
Make you sneeze, make you twitch."
Make you sneeze, make you twitch."
"So, based on what I remember that would be the mosquitoes right?" Mira couldn't help but comment after the riddle had been read out loud.
"Okay, then where are the bugs?"
"Uh... You might want to look behind you," Lance said, looking right past where Guin and Pietro were, as right behind them, and from every doorway into the room, there were large bugs that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. There had to be over a hundred of them, and they were all in the mansion, and trying to get into the living room to bite everyone or something like that.
"Well this is off to a fantastic start now isn't it?" Mary commented, before she grabbed some plant seeds from her pocket that started to sprout into vines of sorts and they were whirling around trying to keep the bugs away from not just her, but everyone else. Luckily, she seemed to be doing pretty well with it, the plant life whirling around and seemingly defending just about everyone from the mosquitoes, but they just kept coming, and there were so many.
"Okay, anyone else want to get out of this room or do we want to have a contest for who can kill the most bugs?"
