There was a time where his parents took him and his brothers swimming every weekend. Oceanus was not one to swim like his siblings, instead, he'd stay cuddled up beside his mother reading the book Flora Londinensis. A book full of flora descriptions back in the mid 18th century was enough to have Oceanus invested in it. He wondered how amazing it must've been to travel and inverse in a world full of beauty. Luckily the book was not a hard find with his rich parents, growing up in what was practically a castle, Oceanus was given books that were dated from way back that was worth more than anything else on this world. On one of their swimming trips, his oldest brother came back with a shell that was embezzled in crystals like no other. Oceanus was in awe and in love. He looked back at the book then to the sea and Oceanus pondered if all seas shared the same shells. ° Oceanus's gift is he's invested in the discovery of shells at beaches. He travels with a journal where he draws the shells he find and goes out of his way to research what they are. It's a privilege to be able to witness the different shells he finds. - ♥ ° The ocean ° The sea ° The beach ° Shells ° Crystals ✘ ° Long sleeve outfits (sweaters, coats, etc) ° Popcorn ° Winter (but he tries his best to tolerate it) ° Baking (he can't cook or do anything that involves the kitchen) ° Sad movies (he cries easily and hates crying) _______ S K I L L S ° Extremely good at observation. His interests(gift) consist of collecting shells and researching about them, but he also draws the shells and adds every single detail. Hence why his observations skills are good because Oceanius always worries about the tiniest speck of detail when drawing. | P E R S O N A L I T Y Oceanus Argus Odalys is always in his own world. He's too quiet they say; he stands there, sometimes giving no response, or other times just a one word phrase. With a quiet demeanor and silent mannerisms, Ocean tends to blend in. Occasionally Ocean wallows in his pessimistic thoughts while constantly overthinking and criticizing himself. However, although Ocean is an awkward quiet boy, he too can unfold a loud laughter of comfort. The ocean, just like his nickname, is his happy place(or really anything that involves a large body of water). The boy who is constantly with a blank expression or a worried one, will burst into a smile big enough for the universe when surrounded by the sea. To think that he once used to hate the waters, used to curse the splashes that stung him when he laid his foot in the waves; Oceanus now jumps straight into the water, not caring whether he has clothes on. He'll run to the sands with a bright expression searching for any findings at these places. In a word, Oceanus is a distant star, too large to understand. |

She has good rhythm, meaning Idette can tell when and when not to hit her opponent. gift ♦ Accuracy; Her aim has been well received by her parents and others. She would play darts and they'd always land on exactly where she'd want them to. While she was good in darts, Idette was extremely good in sports that required precision. She used to be in basketball then was moved into a summer golf team, and the list goes on. However in every single sport she had been in, Idette never enjoyed them. That's until she was introduced to boxing. Ever since then, Idette loved the challenge. ♦ She used to participate in underground matches ♦ Always lands a perfect punch due to her accuracy. She sucks at kickboxing though. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Idette Blanc's family held a strict pattern to everything. Idette had to always be on time, she always had to sit properly, she always had to do this, or to do that—she found comfort in the routine. Her personality was structured and striven to be "perfect" by her parents; they drilled the constant notion that she must always present herself accordingly and never make mistakes. Although it was rough playing the part, Idette never complained and never went against her parent's wishes. She understood how to act in front of them but whenever she was alone, Idette would be characterized as a soft, soothing person. •h i s t o r y Growing up, Idette was used to the routine that her parents forced upon her. It was a mutual understanding that everyone shared a role in the household. The children listen to the parents and the parents slave away at their corporate jobs. As an only child, all the attention was fixated on Idette. Her room was always clean, she always bared a smile, she always sat a certain way, she talked a certain way—everything Idette did was everything her parents taught her. She understood her parents; they were both hardworking adults that blasted a facade of richness. Her family were poor and struggling but they made sure not to show that on the outside. Reputation was an important aspect in her family. As she grew older, Idette realized that her parents slowly were getting tired of her. She was always prepped up to be a certain someone that by now, her parents would've thought she'd have been an important figure. Someone that can put a good image to the name, "Blanc." Nervous about the lack of attention her parents gave her (at this point they were all strangers to each other), Idette joined an underground boxing tournament. Although She had jumped from sport to sport because neither gave her the future she was hoping for, boxing did. She gained money from these matches for constantly winning, becoming the underground champion in her area (there were cases where Idette lost and because of that she would bury herself into rigorous practices.) Her parents thus became proud of Idette while she enjoyed the constant praise. Soon enough Idette applied for Wellington Academy. She believed that her underground matches weren't enough but if she joined a prestigious school, maybe it would be enough(at the same time Idette did enjoy boxing and the adrenaline that came with it.) •c o t t a g e ---- •p a c k e d i t e m s A pair of broken dull red boxing gloves, a crumpled photo of Idette and her parents (there's a distant feel to the picture), and band-aids with a cartoon mascot design on it. •w e l l e r s t a r s : 5 Idette held on to the standards that her parents forced even at Wellington Academy. She took the star points at the school very seriously and believed gaining every single one would be good for her future and in the eyes of her parents. Gaining the first star, Idette had helped a teacher who had been struggling with their schedule for awhile now (causing confusion and misconception among students so it soon became a problem). She helped them space out the classes, helped with the time and even helped with the lesson plans. The teacher still implements the schedule till this day. Idette's last star gained was for her leadership. She would plan freshman events, the ceremonies for freshman, and is a tour guide for freshman's. •w e l l e r m o o n s : 0 theme song Idette has a lot of scars and cuts. Once she was focused—the quiet arrived—it stayed and spread in Lavanda. Outside her bubble of concentration, Lavanda was a sociable and personable person; she knew when to joke, knew when to listen, and knew when to talk. Being an older sister, she tends to be easy to anger and often acts upon her anger upon impulse. •h i s t o r y Lavanda is the oldest daughter of Emiliana De Los Angeles; her younger brother's name is Lucas and the three of them were an inseparable trio. For as long as Lavanda can remember—which is quite long, considering her impressive memory—it has always just been Lavanda, her mother and her baby brother. While she has never been interested in her father, her mother would always dreamily describe him as an angel that was god-sent and brought color to her life. Lavanda thought differently about him and if it were up to her, she would just as easily wipe him out of her mother's memories. Since just as much as his memory brought her happiness, it also brought her mother pain. Lavanda remembers the nights where her mother, after pulling a 24 hour shift, would come home to cry herself to sleep and often whisper his name. Right around the time her mother became more engrossed with providing for her children, Lavanda began plunging herself into the world of books. Initially it was just a simple attraction; she had started with simple books such as Holes by Louis Sachar and the Goosebumps series by R. L. Stine. Then she quickly moved on to broader genres and larger books; her mother, the ever proud mother, fed into Lavanda's hobby and would often surprise her with random (often uninteresting) books. Lavanda became fixated on these books and rather than writing reviews for them online like a normal avid book reader, she sought out to fix the mistakes she often saw these books make. Lavanda would make it her mission to rewrite the book—basically a fanfiction—while fixing plot holes and flat characters. However, the internet tends to be a scary place and as Lavanda was gaining popularity and traction, an author called her out on what she was doing, calling Lavanda unimaginative and lazy—resorting to plagiarizing someone else's story instead of writing her own. Motivated solely by spite, Lavanda wrote, edited and published her own original YA novel that same summer. Fame and recognition swept her off her feet while the high of having trumped that author inflated her ego all at the same time. Seeing as her brother was already attending a school for the "gifted," Lavanda tried her own luck. Lucas focuses mainly on paintings and what he may find visually interesting. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Contrary to his looks, Lucas has a very soft feel about him. Ask a stranger and they would describe him as a cold and uninterested individual. Ask someone who's exchanged words with him and they would most likely recite a speech on how attentive, caring and polite Lucas is, when in reality he falls somewhere in between. Lucas had stepped into the role of the caretaker early on in his family since both his older sister and mother were a catastrophe. So his overall demeanor took after learning how to care for his family, but his ability to easily remember images made him disinterested in a lot of things. •h i s t o r y Lucas is the youngest in his family, his only other sibling (and older sister) being Lavanda. Both defended their mother to the ends of the world since Lucas grew witnessing the sacrifices his mother would make to ensure both he and Lavanda led comfortable lives. He felt as if the least he could do was do well in school and stay out of trouble. However, since school heavily relied on memorization instead of actually allowing their students to learn, Lucas easily aced his tests but grew increasingly bored of his everyday life. Noticing his growing dissatisfaction, his mother and Lavanda would often recommend hobbies he could try. Lavanda always had him read her stories and blog posts, all of which he enjoyed, but overall reading was not his thing. One winter morning, the family had been out to a museum to spend the day—the first time Lucas ever went to one. Immediately upon walking through the gallery, something withing Lucas resonated. He found himself constantly interested in the paintings before him; each time he would look, he'd notice a different and new detail. It was no longer boring or as easily engraved in his memory. From then on, Lucas began painting and drawing. His mother, always supportive, made sure to provide Lucas with the supplies he needed to the best of her ability—he always made the most out of what she gave him. During his middle school years, Lucas went on to receiving awards from contests he would join in school to eventually searching for more challenges. A teacher of his had recommended Wellington Academy to him as he entered his last year before high school; the mystery surrounding the school intrigued him enough for him to apply. Leaving his mother and Lavanda was one of the hardest things he had to do (they were his home) but once he arrived at Wellington Academy, he no longer felt as if life was boring. Now as an emerging Sophmore at Wellington, Lucas has received three Weller Stars during his stay. His very first one was awarded upon completion of a monthly tournament game the principal loved to have. Thereafter, Lucas made it his mission to continue gaining more stars. It's the most melancholic and this stifling of passion and creativity. ♦ Tart sweets, such as lemon cakes or sour candies. ♦ Mushrooms and onions; if she can see or taste either in her food she will promptly toss the food out. Likes ♦ Hearing ghost or otherwise spooky, frightening stories. She does not believe she can tell them but she enjoys hearing them.♦ Decadently decorated cakes and other sweets, with a soft spot for sweet ice cream with sprinkles drizzled prettily over the top. ♦ Ornithology ♦ Fantasy literature, particularly stories with princesses, knights, dragons, and elves. ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ skills ♦ Deft fingers create wonderful music which is to say Evey has a skill for playing music, specifically the piano though she has experience with the cello. She has a sharp sense of smell which allows her to know when someone is trying to trick her into eating dreaded onions. Evey can also sight-read music though she prefers not to as it might make people assume she was arrogant or something to that effect.gift ♦ Evey has the uncanny ability to identify a bird by its call even if she hasn't seen the bird in person. What began as a hobby and slight academic interest in birds became days, weeks, months, of listening to recordings of birds or observing them in person and picking up on their unique calls and sounds. She was allowed to listen to birds for as long as she fed her parents the lie that it helped her with her own music. Often Evey can be seen smiling when the season changes and the variety of bird songs flutter into her ears. | •p e r s o n a l i t y If ever there was someone who looked like the kind of person that Wellington Academy was made for, it's Evey Albright. The raven-haired junior has a stride that's as confident as it is proper and dainty, like someone out of a fairy tale. The aura she gives off is one of a being from a different walk of life which has given Evey a bit of a reputation as an 'untouchable' or specificall someone who is 'unapproachable' or, as it commonly gets diluted down to: an ice princess. She does little to disprove this common assessment though it's debatable if she even knows the rumor surrounding her anyway, but she is distant and doesn't seem to have many friends. People who wish her a good morning or say hello in passing are ignored on a good day. But because she doesn't come off as malicious, it's difficult for people to consider her as rude or bitchy and some think her icy exterior only adds to her appeal. Evey is quiet in the sense that she doesn't tend to talk in lessons or between them but she's still sociable in spite of everything. There's hardly a school social event that she isn't at even if she doesn't interact much with others - she still attends them with a gentle smile and eyes that look wistful. It's perhaps because of her status as an 'ice princess' that she doesn't have that friendship or social life that young people flock to. Suitors and admirers and all that in-between are one thing, but it's not what she's looking for. Still, Evey is happy when people show up to support the musical students and she just might have to live with that being the closest she's yet come to having any connection with others. •h i s t o r y Evey didn't come from a family of means despite the formal, fancy sounding name but that fact didn't stop her parents from placing an almost inhumane amount of pressure on their young daughter to make something of the Albright name. Evey is the second child of two. Her older brother was well on his way to being a composer as well as a member of a nationally recognized orchestra but he traded the cello for a bass guitar and eventually traded the bass guitar for heroin and an eventual overdose. Evey was still in single digits when her brother died. At his funeral she remembered only that everyone seemed so sorry, people she didn't recognize coming up to her and her parents to give condolences and that made her laugh. Everyone looked at her like she had done some great offense, but all Evey could do was laugh. Evey inherited her brother's cello but her parents started making her attend piano lessons and by the time she was in middle school she was giving recitals and a fast tracked musical education. Come junior high she was set to try her hand at writing her own pieces. Her father, who never quite recovered from the death of his son, was stuck in a construction job tearing up and repaving roads under the hot sun while her mother was the one who constantly pushed her daughter to excel musically, often while her hands were clutched around an always full glass of wine. To say that music was a passion of Evey's would be a lie. Music was never and still isn't her passion but it's what she's settled into. When she plays piano at Wellington or in her spare time, the music is certainly technically sound and pleasing, but there's just something missing that keeps her from reaching that level of the greats. Or even the incredibly goods. But it's all she knows and it's what keeps the peace in her house so what can she do except play the piano, make music, and excel? Attending Wellington has been, to date, the only active act of independence Evey has had. Her parents, her mother, wanted her to attend a fancy conservatory but Evey managed to convince her that Wellington was just as prestigious and rounded. Really she just wanted a place where she could escape the pressures of her expectations and perhaps gain the youthful experiences she so desperately craved but even at Wellington she found herself sinking further into the pit of expectations culminating in her being a fixture in the musical arts department since Freshman year. But if it makes people happy to hear her play then...the show must go on. •cottage - •what did you pack? They tend to be overly greasy on the fingers in addition to just...salty. ♦ Fish. They just...creep her out. The way they just...swim all the time. Likes ♦ Shorts. They're comfy and easy to wear.♦ Spicy food, but not food where the spice overpowers the entire dish. ♦ Insects. Not wasps or the dangerous ones, but she doesn't mind things like ladybugs or ants or most spiders. ♦ Scary movies. It's a thrill not unlike a roller coaster - which she also likes. ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ skills ♦ Selective memory retention. While she doesn't have a photographic memory, she has no trouble memorizing the lines of a performance she's cast in and can memorize her lines after one to two readthroughs yet she can't seem to remember anything learned in class even as she takes notes...when she does take notes. Freddie is also conversationally fluent in Spanish. Learning a foreign language was an act of defiance since her parents said she had no reason to learn to speak the languages of the uncivilized and Freddie thought that was reprehensible. gift ♦ Well suited to her passion, Freddie has the gift of vocal mimicry - or specifically vocal accent mimicry. While lacking those that require a language she doesn't speak, Freddie can replicate regional accents like southern American, midwestern, cajun, various European accents, and even cockney. It widens her potential in acting while also being a fun party trick. When she does her accents, it's never in a mocking tone, she fully immerses herself into the role - such as it is. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Freddie wouldn't describe herself as a 'tomboy' as she doesn't particularly care about labels but the glove, show, and every other article of clothing certainly fits in this regard. Apart from wearing more typically masculine clothes up to and including the academy uniform, her hair is cut short with the uneven clips that suggest a mirror and scissors is her preferred stylist, and on days when she's wearing shorts and her loose fitting, figure-hiding clothes it's not uncommon to see nicks, scrapes, and dirt on the knees. Her voice has a rough husk to it that completes the checkbox of tomboy attributes and adds to the 'handsome girl' appeal that is present in Freddie's being. Despite her age, Freddie has a certain cool maturity about her that gives her the illusion of being an upperclassman, though that is often betrayed by the moments where her sillier side slips through, such as when she's willing to go to self deprecating physical comedy to get a laugh out of someone - because in Freddie's mind the best way to cheer someone up (in most, not all, cases) is to make them laugh, or the way her voice reaches high pitches when watching horror movies. Freddie can't claim to be a top student academically but she's someone who would much rather go hang out with some ducks by a pond than study or do homework and she's only managed to complete many assignments by using her own unique brand of appeal to borrow notes. There's always someone who enjoys a handsome, free spirited tomboy and hearing Freddie earnestly thank them for helping has been a terrific boon. The Freddie that walks around the academy on a daily basis is almost a completely different person than the Freddie who steps on stage. n stage, when Freddie is acting in whatever role she is cast, has a commanding sort of presence and theater is one of the few things she clearly takes seriously. She has an uncanny ability to be cast in roles that are written for males and that's never stopped her from putting her all into every performance. If only she could channel that passion into he coursework, she'd be a tremendous threat. •h i s t o r y Frederica knew she hated her name as soon as she was old enough to know better. There was just something about the name 'Frederica' that seemed...off to her, but it was the name she was given so she made the best of it. In retrospect, her issues with her name should've been a warning that she and her family were like oil and water. Freddie doesn't hate her parents or siblings, but the only thing she has in common with them is the family name. For people who are in the know, the Tewksbury name is a bit of a known quantity. The Tewksbury name is spoken of in high society as a very 'old money' sort of family. Freddie wasn't just born with a silver spoon, the silver spoon was what she dunked into the cereal bowl every morning. The youngest child of the current line of Tewksbury, Freddie had certain obligations she was expected to follow. All the daughters of Martin and Abigail Tewksbury were expected to be proper ladies of high society. Debutante balls, proper posture, speaking like someone who thought it was still the era where women did little other than marry at thirteen and die at twenty eight. Her sisters took to it. Her mother was a natural at it. Freddie could not stand it. Freddie was immediately the black sheep, spending holiday dinners or even regular dinners contributing only the sound of her fork scraping the plate as she speared some peas into the conversations. Rather than attending proper lady lessons, Freddie hung out at a youth center - which of course was seen as unbecoming given that there were poor people's children there, but Freddie loved running around kicking a ball and playing tag and coming home with skinned knees even if it got her a mouthful from her mother as their housekeeper helped Freddie clean her scrapes. It was through the youth center that Freddie fell in love with acting. The youths put on a performance of Treasure Island and Freddie got cast as Jim Hawkins. Her parents didn't show up. Her siblings didn't either. But she didn't care. When the other parents applauded - even though it was hardly Broadway - Freddie felt...amazing. Her family life isn't any better but a place like Wellington at least has the appearance of some higher institute of learning but really Freddie likes it because she doesn't have to feel like an outcast. At Wellington, no one looks down on her for being unladylike. At Wellington, it's like she's living at the youth center for months at a time. And no one is making her wear dresses or yells at her for sitting backwards in chairs. Well...outside of the classroom anyway. •cottage - •what did you pack? Clothes. Drawing, specifically the design of characters and attires; Chick's sketchbook is full of characters and style. Someone close to Chick once said the sketchbook looked like something out of 'Tite Kubo's fantasies' and Chick didn't know if he should be insulted or flattered. Does it count as a skill that Chick can make his voice sound deep and gravely? It probably does only in the sense that normally his voice is part of the reason why he got the nickname 'Chick' in the first place. Chick has never lost a game of 'Six Degrees'.gift ♦ Is it a gift to have an impeccable eye for fashion down to also designing and creating custom outfits for himself and others? Perhaps. Chick is something of a makeover queen and a wiz at using otherwise ordinary or drab and cheap material to create outfits that work. Has he gotten paid for this? Not yet, but the compliment and thanks is all he really needs as he does it for love and passion. That said his actual gift is knowing the name of every constellation in four different cultures along with their mythology. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Perhaps the first word that comes to mind when one thinks about Chick is 'soft' but that does him a bit of discredit. Sure, his features are a bit on the softer side and he is something of an excessive hugger (which is equally as soft) but that doesn't mean he's thinskinned. In fact the opposite is true. Chick, largely by necessity, is fairly thick-skinned but even he has his limits. He can handle people making fun of him within reason - there's a difference between good natured bantering and mean spirited insults and unfortunately he had to deal with a lot of the latter to get to where he is which, incidentally, made him fairly decent at the former. Chick will never insult someone purposely but he will absolutely try and make them laugh before fishing for compliments and playing the bashful, blushing bride. So to speak. Chick's worst trait, in his own estimation, is his uncanny ability to fall for someone hard even if he knows that it can't happen or won't happen be it due to clashing orientations or the fact that people in their late thirties should absolutely not think of people underage in that way. Chick, thus, is also afraid to take a chance on matters of the heart. He might have thick skin but rejection is a terrible thing and he can't handle it, he would rather pine from the sidelines than risk it and that makes him a person with a tremendous amount of love in his heart but who thinks no one would want to love him in return. He gravitates towards compliments and hugs as something of an outlet for these feelings. •h i s t o r y The story of Chick's birth is, by his admission, a depressing story so he prefers to simply say that his parents loved him so much that they realized they would be depriving someone else from his presence. That, of course, is a load of garbage but it sounds much nicer than 'Chick's parents were too young to be parents and rather than go through the adoption process they wanted to just leave him at the hospital for the pediatrician's to figure it out.' Fortunately, Chick had grandparents who stepped in and because of the youth of his parents, Chick's grandparents were basically the same age as everyone else's parents. That age, of course, being 'older than 30 so they might as well be ancient'. Chick's grandmother owns a cafe and bakery in the small mountain town where he lives. His grandfather inches closer to retirement by the day but he put in his time as the owner of a car dealership though his real joy was in assistant coaching the high school baseball team - Chick's grandfather was, prior to a car dealer, a major league baseball player; though he only lasted two and a half seasons it was enough to go to the World Series and if it wasn't for him blowing out his arm in game seven he might've had a much more prosperous career. Though Chick enjoyed baseball (and still does), he felt more comfortable helping out in his grandmother's cafe. Chick knew the drink menu by heart by age seven and by age eight he could make half the drinks on said menu though he personally didn't enjoy drinking them. But what eight year old liked coffee? Chick knew he was 'different' at a young enough age to where his grandparents weren't surprised when they had the talk. While they were supportive (his grandfather was, at the time, visibly disappointed but he made the attempt to understand), his schoolmates were not. At first they made fun of his height and his 'chick voice', then they made fun of him wearing 'chick colors' to school, which then became making fun of him for showing up one day having clearly put makeup on just to see what it was like, and it wasn't much longer before 'chick' became something else entirely. Middle school was torturous. One of the faculty members at his school just gave the advice of "act normal" which was what initially saw Chick look for other places to learn. The bullying grew so constant and harmful - escalating beyond words - that Chick made the choice to seek out private school. Fortunately, Wellington allowed him to enter as a sophomore. While initially preferring to be called 'Chuck' because his grandfather thought it would make him sound 'tougher', Chick has taken the derogatory 'chick' moniker and made it his own. •cottage - •what did you pack? Although he doesn't necessarily mind them, he would rather not have them around ♦ Untidyness. Whether it be from his upbringing or just the way he is, he can't stand untidyness. He will go out of his way to either admonish his cottage-mates or to make things appear as though they're tidy. ♦ Baking. He's just not any good at it, despite the many attempts to get his foot in the water. He doesn't like it and assumes it isn't for him. Likes ♦ Winter. He loves the cold, especially running out and jogging in the frigid mornings.♦ Sports. He's a huge sports fan, and mostly follows tennis almost religeously. And will often go out of his way to watch his favourite football team play. ♦ Cooking. Although he can't bake, he loves to cook and takes pride in people enjoying his meals. ♦ Movies. He loves movies and films. Although not a snob, he can quote a great deal of films and often does throughout his day. ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ skills ♦ JD has often had a natural talent for tennis. Having begun his training for the sport at the age of five, encouraged by his mother. He's been trained with both his father, a professional tennis player, and by other famous coaches throughout the world. By the time he was fourteen he was prospected to turn pro at seventeen. However due to his responsibilities to the Academy, he plans to turn pro after he graduates.gift ♦ He doesn't know how to describe it, but the best way JD can think of his gift, is seeing the application of basic physics in reality. Although not always perfect, he can predict with extreme accuracy where a ball will land just by looking at how the person threw it and the curve the ball took. He applies this gift to his tennis as well, allowing him to guide the ball wherever he wants by subtly shifting the spacing of his feet or the angle of hips or the way he holds his racket. It's also allowed him to pull off some pretty impressive stunts for social media. | •Positive Personality Traits ♦Friendly. JD is a friendly individual, offering easy smiles to everyone he meets and likes to think of himself as a social butterfly. He laughs easily and likes to put smiles on others faces. And he likes to hang out with just about anyone. So long as he finds them interesting and equally friendly, he'll chill with them. ♦Reliable. His word is his bond. If JD says he'll do something, he'll do it and make sure it gets done before the day he said it'll be finished. Or at least hours earlier. This can be a bit of a problem for him since he's also prone to just accepting social events and outings while also having a load of coursework and other responsibilities waiting for him. He manages, mostly, and tries to keep his streak of reliability going. Although he has slipped a couple of times after burning himself out. ♦Modest. He's a pro tennis player in all but name and sponsorships, but he doesn't brag about it. If annying he'll downplay his skills and say that he's not all that good. Which, compared to other pros his age who are playing at the professional level, he's moderately above average. He's also pretty smart, but he downplays this and says it's mostly due to his dedicated study habits and nothing else. •Negative Personality Traits ♦Anxious. JD is prone to anxiety attacks, especially when he's being overloaded with responsibilities. He tries to manage his time, but he's pretty poor at it, often having to cram out his homework or assignments a day or two before they're done. And on top of that is the perfectionist complex he has, constantly pushing himself to do better, which only exacerbates his anxiety. ♦Demanding. Just as he's demanding of himself, he is to others as well. Many may see this as abbrasive or annoying, especially if they're grouped up with him in assignments or in any sort of sport or physical exercise. It comes from his background and the way his parents raised him, always demanding more out of him. And he reflects this same mentality upon others and upon himself. ♦Pretentious. Although subtle, there's a level pretentiousness that comes with knowing you're at a high level of competitiveness in a very competitive sport. Exacerbated by the arrogance of youth and the many accolades he's had in the past that seems to justify his outlook. And although he is mostly modest, the way he carries himself and the undertones of the way he speaks and plays down his own "greatness" muddles that modesty to almost make it seem fake. And he's heard a lot of people caling him fake for it. •h i s t o r y JD is the firsts born child of five, and from a young age his parents were demanding. Growing up he often found himself jealous or resentful of his younger siblings simply because his parents were more lenient on them. Letting them get away with things that would get him in trouble. Smiling at them more, showing more affection towards them. And this drove him to try and please his parents, to over-excell and gain that effection that his siblings got. Especially from his father. A professional tennis player who wanted JD to follow in his footsteps. He began training at the age five. And by the time he reached middle school, he was among the top brass of the junior division in the country. But, his grades were suffering for it and his mother, a professor at the state university wouldn't have her son failing because of a sport. Thus, she threatened to pull him out of tennis if he didn't get his grades up. And he began focusing on school, finding himself loving math but hating everything else. He made sure to get as close to perfect grades on math but just to pass in all other classes so he could devote most of his time to tennis. By the age fourteen, he was already prospected to become pro by seventeen and many sponsors and coaches were approaching his father or coming to watch his games, and some even eating dinner at their table while they questioned him on his skills. JD contemplated quitting school to become a fulltime tennis player, but neither his mother or his father would have it, saying he needed to at least finish highschool before he went down that route. In an effort to please his parents, and in part to get away from them as well, he applied to the Wellington Academy. And pretty much ran out of his house the moment he got accepted. The Academy has been the most freeing and wondrous moments of his life. Although stressful, staying at the academy has been like a breath of fresh air; no longer was he bound by the strictness of his parents nor was he bound by any arbitrary rule, save those that came from the Academy itself. But he found himself falling back into old habits regardless. His parents weren't there to be hard on him, so he was hard on himself. Pushing himself to do better in his grades and while practicing tennis, which he did almost every morning before classes. He's demanding on his closest friends, and has even managed to convince one of them to practice with him in the mornings. And throughout his time at the Academy, has found himself to be more sociable than he ever could be in public schools, and not wanting to confine himself to one niche group, decided to make friends with whoever he found intresting or easy to talk to. •cottage will be assigned by GM •what did you pack? Other than that, he’s a good writer who rarely – if ever – makes any spelling or grammatical errors. gift ♦ Zeke’s true gift is that he doesn’t just enjoy stories, he lives them. He can immerse himself so deep into a story, he almost becomes one with the characters, he feels what they feel, he adopts their mannerisms, he even alters his voice to sound more like how he thinks they would sound. He gets to know the characters so intimately that when he acts out scenes from a movie or a book, he’s able to push aside any anxiety or worries that he might have had because he isn’t himself anymore but the character that he’s playing. This helps him tremendously when trying to write a scene and if he ever decides to give the drama department a chance, it will ensure that he excels there as well. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Due to his upbringing, Zeke isn’t used to interacting with other people, especially not people his own age. He’s terrified of saying or doing something wrong and offending someone or becoming the school pariah – enough movies and too little personal experience tends to do that. Because of this, he constantly wears this mask when he’s around others, where he plays the part of just some quiet unassuming guy, who doesn’t make trouble and works hard in class. When interacting with someone, he does his best to be friendly and polite but some of his anxiety always bleeds through which leads to him excusing himself. Once he’s alone and able to relax, though, he’s like a completely different person - funny, playful and sometimes even a little silly. If anybody manages to get close enough to discover that side of him, they’ll also find that he’s passionate and prone to rants if he truly cares about something, that he’s kind and always willing to listen if there’s something they need to get off their chest. He doesn’t really demand anything from anyone other than basic respect and common decency, but he has no big expectations otherwise. He’s also willing to help out friends if they need it, whether its letting them borrow his notes or helping them to work out a particularly difficult problem, even if they just need a human soundboard. He has a bit of a one-track mind at times; puzzling over a word he doesn’t know the meaning of, trying to come up with a bit of dialogue for one of his stories or just trying to work out if there was a hidden meaning in the way their Math and English teachers smiled at each-other. If there is something on his mind it tends to distract him until he either comes up with an answer or something even bigger comes along. This also sometimes leads to him skipping a meal or two because he simply lost track of the time. He is also one of those people who, if they read before bed keeps saying ‘Just one more chapter…’ until either the book is finished or its time to get up, whichever happens first. •h i s t o r y Growing up, Zeke never had just one place he could call home – they moved around too much for that, his mother’s job taking them all around the world frequently. They never stayed anywhere for more than a few months at a time, never long enough to get attached, make friends or even to unpack all their things. As a result, Zeke didn’t attend regular schools, but was home-schooled by his father – who used to be a linguistics professor in South Africa before quitting to marry his mother. This resulted in him missing out on a lot of things growing up, but he had also experienced more of the world than other kids his age ever would, had adventures, made memories and met a lot of interesting people through the years. His only regret was that how lonely it could get. He loved his parents and they spent as much time with him as they could, but they were grownups with responsibilities and couldn’t play with him the way other children his age could and since he didn’t have any siblings he was often left to his own devices. So in order to keep himself entertained, he took to acting out movies he watched, practicing in front of a mirror until he could copy the people and their expressions almost perfectly. When he ran out of movies, he started doing the same with books – which was admittedly more difficult since he didn’t get an example of what things were supposed to look like beforehand. He did it though, learned how to read between the lines, how to immerse himself so fully into the story that the characters words and emotions came almost second nature – so much so at times that he found himself disagreeing with what happened, convinced that they would have acted another way. He wrote as much in a letter to the author of one of his books, stating very politely in his humble opinion as a twelve-year-old that their book was brilliant but that what Character A did and said here and here and, in this situation, as well, didn’t make sense. Yes, it was nice to read, but ultimately he behaved ooc in those situations and that it would have been more realistic if he had done this and said that instead. The author wrote back that there was no changing the book now, but that if he was unsatisfied, he should try writing his own story. Zeke did. His stories weren’t very long, and the first few didn’t make much sense, but once he knew how to properly balance his characters, how to make them more like actual people, they started steadily improving. He entered one of his short stories into a writing contest held by some magazine once, when he was fifteen. He won second place as well as the award for ‘Best original characters’. That same magazine published two of his other stories a year later. His social life might be more-or-less none existent other than his parents and a few casual acquaintances around the globe, but he was happy…then his father was offered his dream job and well, he had given up his career once for his mother, she thought it only fair that he gets his chance to advance as well. The only problem was Ezekiel. His father had always been Zeke’s teacher, but now that he has a day-job again that’s no longer an option. But Zeke has never been to a regular school before, he’s used to listening to music while doing his coursework, to working as far ahead as his father allows him to, regardless of what the school’s curriculum says, to pause an explanation if there’s a term he doesn’t understand so that he can go do some research until he understands. He doesn’t know how to thrive in a normal school, he doesn’t know how to work with other students, doesn’t know what social rules are taboo, if high school is like the stories or if its completely different. Knowing he’s about to find out one way or another terrifies him. It took a lot of research, from both him and his parents into prospective schools before they stumbled upon Wellington Academy, but out of all the other schools, this one seemed to be Zeke’s best chance. It would still be a challenge, even more so considering that it is a boarding school, but the curriculum was better than a public school, and his parents promised to make other arrangements if after a few months he truly felt that he couldn’t do it, so Zeke agreed to take the shot and applied, receiving an acceptance letter not long after. •cottage Coleus Cottage •what did you pack?

He is also pretty good at editing videos(he had a lot of practice through the years when building up his youtube portfolio).gift ♦ Perfect pitch: From a young age, Eli has always been able to identify and even recreate notes after hearing them. He often uses this ability to break songs down into their different components so that he can make covers of them(usually with a Kazoo).Additionally, when he plays, whether its with the harp or a kazoo, he always puts his all in it. His feelings, his passion, it always transfers over to his playing. His audience - even if they feel nothing else when listening to him - can always tell how passionate he is as well as how much fun he's having when playing. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Always smiling, approachable, adventurous, fun-loving. All those words can be used to describe Elliot Davis. Eli lives by the philosophy of living each day to the fullest, he almost never becomes upset and if he does, he usually calms down pretty fast. Every day with Eli is an adventure, if the mood strikes him to do something, he’ll do it, regardless of if that something is jumping into the lake in autumn or just walking barefoot in the rain. He takes great pleasure in the simple joys of life, collecting trinkets to hang on his bag, laughing with a friend, ice-cream on a cold day, making a song his own when playing it…it’s what makes him happy. Every now and then, usually when he’s alone, he has his moments where he’s quiet and withdrawn, where all he wants is to curl up alone somewhere and watch some old competition footage, but those moods aren’t common and they usually don’t last longer than a few hours to a day. The rest of the time he’s this goofy, up-beat, guy who cares about his friends and has very few inhibitions. •h i s t o r y His father owned a small music school and his mother made a living off of creating jingles for advertising agencies, so music was always going to play some part in Eliot’s life, but he didn’t truly love it until he saw his sister, Violet, perform at her first recital when he was four. From the very first moment, where she strutted on stage with the biggest smile, to the last note she conjured on the ivories, everything was…magic. He didn’t even wait until they got home before he started demanding harp lessons, so that he’ll be able to accompany her on stage – three years later, he also added the double bass to his repertoire. It became clear pretty early on, that he had a gift – not only was his pitch perfect, but when he played…the joy he feels while playing, especially when he’s accompanying his sister, it shines through so that everybody could hear. One day, when he was eleven and his sister was fourteen, they had just finished performing a piece for the qualifiers and was taking their bow when his sister collapsed. After that, one hospital visit led to another until she wasn’t able to leave anymore. Eli did his best to keep a smile on her face, putting a keyboard in her hospital room, learning how to play the ukulele and the kazoo because it made her laugh and he always brought her favorite macarons for her. All the cheering up in the world couldn’t cure her though and a month after she turned fifteen, she died. For months the Davis’s were inconsolable, but before she died Violet wrote them letters to be received after her funeral. Eli will always remember what his said; ‘I won’t be able to live or play anymore, so you should make sure to do enough for the both of us!’ So, he did. He pulled himself together, went out, did things he and Violet always talked about doing but never did, things he always wanted to try but was too scared before. He made memories, collected mementos, laughed, met new people, visited new places, picked up the castanets. He started making videos and posting them on youtube – a lot featured him playing various musical pieces, most was of him making absurd kazoo covers, a few were of something cool/funny and/or interesting he managed to capture on film, all were made because he enjoyed it and wanted to share that feeling with others. He hasn’t competed since his sister passed. Occasionally he would still do a recital or something, but he only ever accompanied his sister during competitions because he liked playing with her and wanted to do it more often. He never really had any ambitions for fame or renown, he was happy just being able to make music, so he just stopped going to competitions – as a competitor at least. Going to Wellington Academy wasn’t something that Eli had planned on. He was just browsing the web one day when he came across the school website and decided to fill out the application form on a whim. He didn’t really think that he would make the cut, so it was a surprise when the acceptance letter arrived. His parents knew how exclusive Wellington was, so they didn’t need any convincing and before he knew it he had transferred schools. •cottage Zinnia •what did you pack? ♦ His Castanets ♦ His kazoo ♦ His ukulele ♦ His harp ♦ Necessities like clothes, toiletries, extra strings, polish, ect. ♦ A lot of small trinkets like keychains, charms, ect. ♦ Electronics - laptop, phone, video camera, cargers, ect. ♦ Several notebooks filled with sheet-music ♦ A couple of posters of animes('Yuri on ice!', 'Nana', 'One Punch', 'Kamigami no Asobi', 'The Wallflower' and 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' -theme song -Ambidextrous -James Veitch is his IDOL! -Has big plans to become a music teacher/youtube sensation -Occasionally spends time following his hero's footsteps by trolling spammers. -Always caries his kazoo and castanets with him, they're used to fill awkward silences. Ramona is from Miami, Florida, so her version of the cold is anything under 50 degrees. Even something as commonplace as snow is unfamiliar to her. Once winter comes at Wellington, she'll be in for quite the wake-up call. ♦ Camping. Although she's only been once, she can say with confidence that she'd much rather travel to a foreign country than to the woods. Plus, mosquitoes are gross. ♦ Math. She's not bad at it, persay- it's just boring and complicated and she'd much rather be doing literally anything else. Likes ♦ Coffee- what's not to like! It helps you pull all-nighters and wakes you up in the morning. What? Headaches?! Psh... those are nothing- as long as you drink some more coffee in the morning. Ramona is a certified coffee addict. In her words, it's a little piece of happiness you can drink. ...She might have a problem.♦ Travel. Although Ramona's never even been outside of the United States (or Florida until she went to Wellington Academy) she loves the idea of travelling to foreign countries. Her dream is to study abroad someday, preferably in a country with a language other than English or Spanish. Since she hasn't ever traveled, her main resource for this interest is living vicariously through travel vloggers and bloggers. And maybe browsing through too many brochures. ♦ Linguistics ♦ Nail polish. She has an entire collection of all different kinds of colors, and her nails can often be seen painted. ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ skills ♦ While not photographic, Ramona has a knack for rote memorization. This lets her memorize new vocabulary and alphabets lightning-fast, and to retain that information well. In that vein, she's also quite good at studying- the aesthetic kind, that is. Her handwriting is neat and pleasing to the eye, and at any given time, there are flashcards and sticky notes and fancy pens and cute spiral notebooks (all organized by color and subject!) laying on her desk. God forbid that any of it get disorganized, though. She's a good runner- she played cross country before Wellington, although she never placed at the top of her bracket. It keeps her fit, though.gift ♦ Ramona has a gift for language. While most would say that even being bilingual is impressive, she wouldn't even settle for that. Rather, she's multilingual. She's fluent in five languages (English, Spanish, French, Russian, and Japanese) and is in the process of learning two more (ASL and Mandarin). English and Spanish are her native languages, and she learned all the rest through self-study. She's been obsessed with learning languages since she was only 7 years old, and now has a lot to show for it. | •p e r s o n a l i t y To say that Ramona is an overachiever would be an understatement. Driven and unrelenting, Ramona has never settled for anything less than excellence from herself. She juggles her responsibilities, academics, and extracurriculars with an enviable natural ease. Sometimes it seems as though she's an unstoppable machine of productivity. Of course, this isn't always true. Ramona is not, in fact, unstoppable- rather, she's painfully prone to burnout, and sometimes can only barely keep herself going. During these periods, anxiety and depression are her best friends. But even then, she still has all her other, real friends! She'd consider herself fairly amicable- to people that are kind to her, that is. She's not a pushover, and has no patience for people who get on her nerves or get in her way. In addition to all this, she a natural, insatiable curiosity for new cultures and new places. It's why she's so obsessed with learning languages and speaking to all kinds of people. •h i s t o r y For her seventh birthday, Ramona's only wish was to travel from her hometown of Miami, Florida to Paris, France. While watching the National Geographic channel, she fell in love with the city- its glamorous people, its grand monuments, and, most importantly, macarons. She begged her mother and father to take her to Paris for her birthday for months and, finally relenting, her mother said that they would go if- and only if- Ramona could learn French by her birthday. Much to her surprise, 8 months later she had a seven year old fluent in three languages and begging to go to France. Her fervent requests were denied, but Ramona had discovered the utter joy that linguistics brought her. Ramona never did get to go to France (or anywhere, really- the only time they ever left Florida in her lifetime was to visit family in Puerto Rico), but she satisfied her travel itch by learning languages. When she was ten, she had wanted to visit St. Petersburg so badly that she taught herself Russian and made pen-pals with Russian children. Same story with Japan- she obsessed over anime as a middle-schooler (a medium that she no longer enjoys quite as much) and taught herself Japanese. Her parents were kind and supportive of her passions, but secretly blown away by her accomplishments. Their eldest child was a genius, they thought- so they pushed and pushed and pushed her to succeed. She liked languages, sure, but couldn't she apply herself to other things too? The pressure began in seventh grade. Rather than being left alone to pursue her dreams, she was pushed to succeed. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Ramon earned all As easily. For that period, she was the perfect daughter. She was the talk of the family, their pride and joy. The cream of the crop, the paragon of accomplishment that her two younger brothers and her numerous cousins could look up to with admiration. She was multilingual at the age of thirteen, a cross country player, and an all As student. She even started to teach herself Mandarin, even though her new busy life made studying a bit hard. Everyone was impressed. But Ramona was starting to feel the whispers of burnout. She finally crashed and burned in the middle of her freshman year. She had gotten into the best magnet school in Miami-Dade County, had all As, had the bestest friends ever- so what had happened? What was wrong with her? She quit the cross country team, failed her first two classes, and withdrew to her room. She stayed like that for the majority of second semester. During this time, she managed to start teaching herself ASL- a language similar enough to English that reinvigorated her love for language. At the end of freshman year, she started thinking that she needed a change. A new school, a new place, a new environment. But her parents didn't have money to send her to a private or boarding school, and transferring out of her magnet school would be admitting failure. So, she found about Wellington, and contacted them. She didn't think she'd be accepted- she was smart, but had never written a book or won any awards or competitions. But apparently, being 15 and knowing 5 different languages fluently (7 if you count semi-fluent ones) was sufficient to blow the admissions committee away. It took a lot of convincing for her parents, who were reluctant to let their only daughter leave the nest at 15, but she eventually convinced them. Her first year at Wellington will be her sophomore year, and, although nervous to be so far away from home, she's excited, too. Adventure will be good for her- she hopes. •cottage Zinnia Cottage; roommates with Evelyn Albright •what did you pack? She is just too clumsy. ♦ Drawing - She enjoys all kinds of art but you give her a few colored pencils and some sort of canvas and she'll be set. ♦ All Seasons - Winter gives the perfect excuse to curl up on the couch with a cup of Hot Chocolate and a sketchpad. Spring is the best time to get the most beautiful sights in the garden with vibrant and wonderful flowers. Summer has people going out much more than usual for wonderful drawings of them having picnics or going to parks. Fall is when the leaves fall in their beautiful colors. Every season has something to offer. ♦ Anime/Games - Particularly the ones with beautiful visuals and colors that seem to pop. ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ skills ♦ Hand-Eye coordination. From years of speaking through either ASL or typing on her phone, along with her artwork, Elysia has excellent Hand-Eye coordination and is generally able to easily do small difficult tasks with her hands like putting a thread through the eye of a needle with little to no effort. She also tends to be very quick and precise whenever she is drawing.Observant. Being someone who is rarely at the center of a conversation Elysia has become a really good listener and people watcher. She tends to pay attention to how people are feeling a little more than she should and, if not feeling nervous, will abruptly stop what she’s doing and try to figure out what is wrong. Good Visualization. This is something she can only really do when making some sort of drawing or artwork, but Elysia can look at whatever her canvas maybe and visual a large majority of what she wants to make. Through this, she can tend to jump straight into the piece without the worry of making a mistake in how she wants it to look. She rarely if ever needs to erase a line or cover up a portion with different paint. But since she does it this way she usually spends way too long just staring at her canvas before beginning. gift ♦ According to Elysia, her drawings are simply that. Plain average drawings that shouldn't cause as much fuss as they tend to. To others, they almost appear to take a life of their own. When they say that a picture can say a thousand words, well it's quite true with Elysia's works and even a little more. She started young drawing in coloring books as a coping mechanism to deal with her anxiety. She would spend hours of her day drawing in these books running through so many of them so quickly. She quickly upgraded to blank canvas' putting her all into them. She doesn't find them all that impressive, but that is because she already knows how she feels and what is in her heart and mind. Some have described looking at her art as if they were having a conversation with the girl and that's her gift. Like how an expert musician can play someone to feeling certain emotions or an actor can move someone towards the same thing, Elysia can convey her emotions through her artwork and have a better conversation with them this way than using her phone or writing ever could. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Elysia is one of the quietest children you could come across, and she has no control over it. Anxiety is an awful thing and the young girl has lived with it her whole life. Despite this, she tries her best to be happy. Most of the time she succeeds. She still has issues interacting with people she's close to, let alone complete strangers but she has the determination to change her life. She has a love for the beauty of this world and of people. Even if she has trouble interacting with the world and people around her she'll try to find the good in anything and make a drawing about it. In regards to her anxiety, it manifests itself in a disorder called selective mutism. Despite the first word in the name, she isn't entirely in control of the selection. She has found various ways to cope. The main one being her artwork. She has also discovered that working side by side with someone in some sort of task, and if she can keep quiet while cooperating with them and doesn't need to talk then she can start to feel more comfortable with them around. As long as the other person doesn't inadvertently increase her stress, this can produce a good relationship and she'll find it easier to speak to them. Although she still relies too much on sign language, her phone, and writing to communicate. If she can get close to someone then she will be a great friend. A great listener to your problems, able to tell when you feel anxious, and being someone who'll drop whatever they're doing to help you are key characteristics she exhibits towards those around her. Especially her friends. She's shy, reluctant, and clumsy but she always tries to put on a smile no matter how uneasy it may be. Around school, if she is even seen out and about, she's either heading for class while keeping her head down, watching everyone doing their thing from a distance, or sitting on the ground somewhere staring at a canvas or rapidly drawing on it. •h i s t o r y The circumstances around Elysia's birth were unfair. The whole pregnancy was difficult and then she came earlier than her expected due date. After the birth was over she had to be instantly admitted to NICU and it was unsure whether she would make it. Despite this, her parents Ryon and Mira Dey along with her older sisters, Eliza and Adelinde, waited for her to pull through certain that she would live. But Elysia wasn't the only one to have a rough time after her birth. Mira was also in dire straits and unfortunately didn't recover. The family was in a somber situation. The matriarch had passed and despite their initial hope, the fear for Elysia's life was still there. It was a long and arduous journey but eventually, she pulled through. The situation affected each member differently. Ryon became depressed from his wife's death and feared that something may happen to Elysia. Eliza who was much older took it upon herself to get a good education and job to provide for them all, as Ryon's job wasn't very lucrative being a construction worker. Adelinde being a child wanted something to blame for her mother's death and that blame unfairly fell on Elysia. As a baby, Elysia was unusually quiet. She cried when she was hungry, tired, or needed to be held but as she grew older the usual babbling that one associated with babies was not there. She didn't say her first word until she was two when most babies would combine words randomly at this age. It was determined that she didn't have a learning disability so the family went on as normal. She began talking a little more easing the worries of those around her but that ended around when she was 7. She got in a big fight with Adelinde. In reality, it was more like Elysia kept trying to help Adelinde in the garden but messed everything up and was yelled at. Crying she ran off when Adelinde or Eliza weren't watching. She knew where her father worked and went where he was for comfort. When she got there she watched from outside the fence waiting to see her dad. When she saw him she called out to him distracting him from what he was doing. In a lot of places getting distracted can be dangerous. A construction site is one of them. Cutting all the details out he got injured. He was no longer able to work and Eliza had to leave college to work enough to provide for the family. This is around the time that Elysia stopped talking almost entirely. Things were hard and the anxiety within the young girl didn't help. She would spend the next year in her room hiding from everything. She even stopped drawing for a while. The only time she left her room was for school or to grab something to eat. She was too scared to interact with anyone. For a while, after her mutism showed, she'd often get in trouble at school for 'refusing' to speak despite her extremely obedient behavior in every other aspect. Kids were cruel and bullied the quiet girl. Some of her friends stuck close but others thought that she didn't want to talk to them despite her trying to find ways to communicate. It was hard. But eventually, someone thought to ask the question 'should she be taken to a psychiatrist?' It took a while but the psychiatrist was able to determine that she had selective mutism rather than autism. Making the correct diagnosis and Elysia realizing what was wrong was the first step to recovery. They tried various methods to help her. It took a few years but Elysia found herself being able to talk to her family a little bit more. The main thing that helped was her family telling her that they didn't blame her for what happened. Even Adelaide apologized for how she had treated her. She was still having difficulties as the road to full recovery is long and arduous, but she was doing much better. She began learning sign language, she started using her phone and writing to communicate, and she began drawing again putting more effort into it. When she became a teenager she was more determined than ever to improve so she brought the idea of applying to Wellington to her family. They were initially against it as this would mean she'd be so far from the rest of them for a long time. But she was certain that she could handle it. She also knew that despite her own beliefs that people thought her artwork was amazing. She knew that Wellington would be a good place to go to improve her skills. Both of her goals could be achieved by going there so she convinced her family to allow her to apply. She was surprised and terrified when she found out that she was accepted. •cottage Zinnia Cottage •what did you pack? Phone, Many Notepads, Picture of Family, Multiple Packs of Colored Pencils, Paintbrushes, Paint, Canvases, Sketchbooks, Basic Necessities, three stuffed animals(A bear, bunny, and dog), an old laptop previously used by Eliza when she was at college, a book with information on various plants(written in the margin by Adelaide is information on the best way to care for some of the plants), and a recipe book on baked goods. Jeremy Zucker - Scared She has two nicknames Ely (Ellie) and Lysi (Li-Sea). Ely is the more common nickname while Lysi is used by those that are really close to her. When she talks through her phone she uses an app that uses a generally better version of text-to-speech. It was made by the recommendation of her psychiatrist. The voice is her own but it still flubs a few words and when the mistake is discovered Ely rightly turns red and will spend the next few nights trying to fix it by adding words to the dataset. Almost always is looking down towards the ground. She still sports an uneasy smile while doing so. She tends to pull her knees up to her body when sitting down. Outside of required attire, Ely tends to wear hoodies as she can pull the hood far over her head when nervous. |

Being born to a multi-generation family of farmers helped attribute to that. From a young age he worked the fields alongside his dad, mom, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Everyone helped out. So, it was easily ingrained into him a good strong work-ethic.Taro is also skilled at camping. His love of the wilderness led him to often taking days at a time in which he'd go out to the woods to camp alone. Spending time with nature and studying every aspect of the forests around his home. gift ♦ Taro is a 'budding' botanist through and through. He may not be generally intellectual, often having trouble in most avenues, but when it comes to plant life he is as much an expert as a teenager can be. As long as he has been alive, Taro has had a burning desire to study and learn more and more about the natural world and how it interacts with everything else. Everywhere he goes he carries a book in which he logs information on plants, constantly adding information to it as he discovers new things. While he does also study animal life within the wilderness he is not as skilled at this as he is with plants. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Taro is a good-natured and caring guy. He may look like a human tank of flesh and muscle but he'd throw up at the thought of purposefully hurting another life. Human, animal, or plant. It doesn't matter. If he did accidentally harm someone, even if it was something small, he'd go out of his way to make it up to them. In that aspect, he is a doormat. An easy target for people to get things they want from him. Unless you somehow find yourself on his bad side. This is a difficult thing to do though as he tends to be very forgiving and believes that people can change for the better but there is a hard line. But he's so simplistic that it would be easy to make him believe you wanted to be better. Now while he loves being out in the wild, he is not a wild man like his oddly formed nickname may imply(His favorite movie is Tarzan though). He enjoys some of the finer things of life. He loves almost all types of tea. He enjoys watching the big summer blockbusters, after he has come back to civilization from his summer trips. Also, because of his siblings and cousins, he has developed a competitive spirit. He loves playing games even though he is absolutely horrendous at most of them. The one game he is good at is baseball. But that is because that was the main game his family played. •h i s t o r y Taro is a young man who was born to a Dutch farmer who married a Japanese woman. His extended family is a hotpot of a few other nationalities but they are mostly of Dutch origin. The family is quite large with Taro's Grandfather being the current owner of a massive amount of farmland in the middle of America. This family has owned this land for many generations going all the way back to an early Dutch immigrant who staked his claim early on in the years that the mid-west had become part of the States. Every descendent of this man has at least attributed a day of labor to the land. Even though this is the case, every member that has been born was given the option to choose their own path. All tended to take some time away from the family business but most tended to find themselves back with the family. With Taro, things were no different. He found a fascination with the way the plants grew. He tried to find many ways to improve the growth and quality of the crops. He personally looked after as many plants as he could. His parents eventually made an area in their backyard for him so that he wouldn't spend so many nights out in the field. Eventually, he grew to want to learn more. The crops were amazing but he knew that the whole world was teeming with life. So, the summer before his Freshman year he snuck away to the closest forest. He had left a note and about a week into his camping trip, they found him dragging him back home. He was fine but in an extreme amount of trouble. Let's just say he didn't go off without permission again. But by that time next year they had finally allowed him to go on a camping trip by himself. Only that he had to be at a campground where others would be, and that he'd contact them every day. It was during this trip, that his parents got the idea that maybe they should try and send him to a school in which he could learn more about what he wanted. A place where he could thrive rather than being held back by his issues with other subjects. A school that was surrounded by so much nature and had people that could keep him safe with a close eye while letting him explore the world he loved. •cottage will be assigned by GM •what did you pack? In her childhood, photography was her solace as it allowed her to view the world in eyes which were not her own, and capture pleasant moments eternally within a single frame.gift ♦ Eden’s gift is a visual intuition or sense of the space around her. Her mind can rapidly visualize her environment and lighting to create an artistic composition for a photo, before having lifted a camera to her face. Similarly, when Eden is the subject of a photograph, she and just as easily imagine what the camera sees of her, and adjusts herself for a perfect photo. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Though Eden’s caretakers would say that her personality is the result of her upbringing, Eden believes otherwise. In the argument of nature versus nurture, Eden is likely a product of both. On the surface, Eden presents herself like an angel, learning early on that smiling often and giving compliments to adults gives her advantages over other children. She relishes in her ability to deceive others, effortlessly brandishing her appearance and lies as weapons. Her habit of lying is not completely malicious, though she does feel rather smug when people believe her. It was a learned behaviour to get out of trouble as a kid and avoid potential abuse. This does backfire every so often when she’s caught in contradicting statements. In a typical interaction with Eden, she seems rather well-adjusted. She’s friendly, cheerful, and gets along with her peers, if not just slightly self-absorbed. She does earnestly like to make friends but she’s not very good at maintaining them, especially when she handles conflicts with a vengeful, temperamental attitude. Her prideful nature is fragile, and she is quick to anger if someone offends her. In some cases, she’s not adverse to using violence if it means she can get her way, and delights in seeing the object of her revenge suffer. •h i s t o r y Eden’s biological parents gave up their parental rights to her when she was 4. She doesn’t have a strong recollection of what they looked like or what happened during this time, but her caregivers told her it was because they couldn’t financially support raising her. Whether that was the truth or not didn’t matter to her—the only truth she was sure about was that she had been abandoned. In the next several years, Eden would be passed around from foster home to foster home, never staying in a single place for more than a year. Her tendency for violent outbursts made her an undesirable child, and less tolerant families were more than willing to be violent in return. Once she realized this, she slowly learned how to control her outward behaviour for survival, to find a place that would accept her rather than hurt her, though she still had the same anger bottled in her mind. Though she had temper tantrums less frequently, Eden learned new ways to express her frustration. She projected her anger towards her peers—she would rip up her classmate’s notebooks, steal things, and kick and punch people when they upset her, all while lying to the teachers that she did none of those things. More times than not, she’d get away with it, and that would give her a sense of power. Eden first picked up a camera at the age of 12. The foster family she was staying with at the time were lenient enough to allow Eden to play around with their DSLR when she showed interest. Her caregivers were quick to notice Eden’s skill with photography when she quickly grasped how to adjust settings like ISO, aperture, and shutter speed for a shot. Eden became enamoured with the art. She saw the lens of the camera as a doorway to another world. Using this device, she can transform small corners of a room or random arrangements of items on a table look like abstract patterns. Something that looked unseemly in front of her can look pleasing through the camera, if angled just right. Eden ended up staying with this family for the longest period of time, which gave her some stability. However, her disciplinary issues at school managed to get her suspended on numerous occasions, so her foster parents decided to send her to Wellington Academy halfway through her freshman year, before she could get expelled. Since the Academy didn’t have normal requirements to get in, Eden had a chance to enter the school despite her behavioural problems. They figured a unique learning environment would help Eden mature, with the added benefit that they could pass on the responsibilities of parenting to the school. For the first while, Eden focused on socializing. Being extroverted came easily to her — she loved being in the center of attention. However, it wasn’t before long when Eden received her first Weller Moon. She brought her switchblade collection to her dorm room, and someone in her class ratted her out. While a few of them were confiscated, Eden managed to keep a good remainder of the collection stored in her room. Learning that a fellow classmate snitched on her made Eden’s blood boil. She kept her anger contained for the most part, but kept an eye open for an opportunity of revenge. After all, it was only fair that someone paid the price for her lost goods. She found her chance one day, when the target of her revenge was sitting alone in a common area at the school. Approaching her from behind, Eden poured a bottle of acetone over her head, pulled her by her hair and held an activated lighter dangerously close to her face. The target managed to run away and report her, but not before sobbing and apologizing profusely. So, that became her second Weller Moon. People became much more wary of Eden after that incident, though Eden blatantly denied any wrongdoing. After all, it was only her words against Eden’s. The teachers however, started to scrutinize her every move much more, in case the claims against her were correct. Eden’s third Weller Moon was earned on a much less severe infraction—she was caught painting over a section of a wall on the exterior of a school building for a photography shoot. For the remainder of Eden’s high school career, she hopes to avoid getting more Moons so she can graduate. This is not to say that she’d dampen her behaviour, but just not get caught. She still aspires to be a photographer, and sees herself spending most of her time behind a camera. •cottage will be assigned by GM •what did you pack? Her favorite class is speech and debate, as she finds her greatest skill to be her public speaking. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Kassandra is a confident person, at face level. She’s comfortable with herself, something rare for a person her age. She was raised to be a good person, and aspires to be a leader. Her parents were successful, and self-made, and their ideals have worn off onto their child. She’s extroverted and naturally charismatic, a person who thinks everyone has a voice and that their voices should be heard. Her parents raised her right, or at least as best they could. Kassandra does her best to be the best she can be, trying to make them proud. She runs her life around that, and it isn’t without its negatives. Kassandra has high expectations for herself. In fact, her standards for herself are set so high its almost impossible for her to reach them, and she’s very openly hard on herself over it. An A- isn’t an acceptable grade — it means she’s either stupid, or didn’t study hard enough, and both are equally unacceptable for her. She can be overbearing at times as well. She has trouble understanding when people have had enough so to speak, and assumes people who aren’t as extroverted as she is just need to be dragged ‘out of their shells;’ it's what her mother told her, and why would she believe anything else? Overall, Kassandra does her best to be a good person, and does her best to have a positive influence on those around her. •h i s t o r y Kassandra was adopted at birth by a wealthy couple who could never have kids of her own. With birth parents who never wanted anything to do with her, Kassandra has no interest in meeting them either. She was raised never wanting anything, and was taught from a young age her parents’s road to success. Her father, Anthony Hawthorne, founded and runs a large construction company that operates in Southern California, where Kassandra was born and raised. Her mother, Ashley Hawthorne, owns and runs a thriving bakery (Kassandra receives care packages of snacks from her mother biweekly). Both of her parents are older (in their late 50s); when they discovered they couldn’t have children naturally, and decided to adopt, they chose to do it once their lives were ‘settled.’ As Kassandra grew up, her parents tried to instill their values into her, which seems to have worked. Watching her parents work hard from as far back as she can remember, Kass thinks anything can be done if you work hard enough. She’s had every opportunity in the world, and is forever grateful to her parents for it — from what she understands, if they hadn’t adopted her, her life would be much, much different. From freshman year, Kassandra has attended Wellington Academy. Her parents told her she could go to any school she liked, but only one school really interested her. Sending out her application and waiting in anticipation for the acceptance or rejection letter to arrive were some of the worst days of her life, but once she was in, Kassandra was more than excited. She came out to her parents one year ago, something she did from the safety and distance of Wellington academy… it was the most nerve wracking experience of her life, but to her delight, both of her parents have been nothing but supportive of her. •cottage - •what did you pack? She’s also good at video games.gift ♦ Abigail is a natural when it comes to technology; both hardware, and software. She’s loved taking things apart and putting them back together since she was a kid, and as she got older she found a penchant for messing with code, and software as well. She’s pretty much a wizard, depending on who you ask. Mostly, if you ask her. | •p e r s o n a l i t y First and foremost, Bee is loud and proud. She openly doesn’t care what people think of her, and she’s very clear with what she thinks of people. Abigail is a bit of a stereotype; she plays video games, she lives on the internet, and she occasionally leaves the house to skateboard. She thinks she’s funny, but in reality she’s probably just obnoxious to most normies. Bee can and will aggressively talk over people if she isn’t finished speaking, and her biggest secret is that she’s never finished speaking. She’ll rant and rave about things for hours, usually things she’s the only one in the room who likes. She likes to sleep, and will often sleep past or through her classes. She does her best to take seats in the far back to make sure she can catch a few extra z’s, but some of her instructors have recently taken to moving her to the front — and even worse, calling on her when she doesn’t volunteer. So what if she’s smart? It wasn’t her choice to be a ‘gifted’ student! Despite her negatives, Abigail actually makes a good friend. Sharing a sense of humor with her turns her from obnoxious to hilarious, and sharing her interests turns her rants into legitimate discussions. The problem with Abigail is that she’s too obsessed with ‘not caring what other people think’ to the point that she cares what other people think too much. Abigail hardly tries at anything that matters, and makes fun of those who do. She’s a ball of proudly wasted potential, and she seems to know it and revel in that fact. •h i s t o r y Abigail is from New York, New York. The city so nice, they named it twice, the Big Apple or whatever. Specifically, Abigail is from Brooklyn, where she lives in a hilariously expensive home that’s equally hilariously small. Seriously, Abigail thinks half the reason she has to attend Wellington Academy is so her parents can have more space. Her father is a successful lawyer, and her mother is a stay at home mom. Her father’s occupation may be the source of her penchant for arguing. From a young age, Abigail showed she learned at an accelerated rate. Her parents wanted to take advantage of it, pushing her to join gifted programs in school, and she tended to excel even there. It wasn’t until she got a bit older she started to push back. Despite victories on the national level at Youth Academic Decathlons and spelling bees, Abigail wasn’t enjoying the way she was going. She wasn’t having fun, and she was frankly sick and tired of working so hard. She wanted to play video games and relax, not be treated like a lab specimen because she was smart and ‘could be successful one day.’ At age 13, she decided to rebel. She started wearing different clothes, changing her style to be the exact opposite of the cute dresses her mother wanted her to wear. She forced everyone to start calling her ‘Bee’ instead of Abigail, though her mother still resists (bitch.); at least her father fulfills the request. She even thought about chopping her hair off, but her mother put a stop to that before she even had a chance to schedule a time with a barber. In an attempt to further her rebellion, Abigail found her way to the devil’s lettuce, as it were. Starting to get stoned at age fourteen, the summer before her freshman year, her parents found they had no idea what to do with her anymore. They let her get away with it, because Abigail had proven in the past she’d end up getting away with it anyway (and, in her defense, her dad did it anyway). Midway through the summer, after the seventeenth screaming match with her mother, with Abigail defending herself and claiming she wasn’t wasting her potential, her dad stepped in. Her dad had always done his best to stay friends with her, and Abigail appreciated it. When she wanted new clothes, it was her dad that took her shopping. When she wanted to start skateboarding, it was her dad who watched over her in the skatepark while still wearing his work suit. So, when her father said he had a proposal, she was at least willing to listen. Wellington Academy. It was where her father had gone to school, and he felt like the school could draw her potential out in healthy, non combative ways. Abigail listened, but she didn’t like it at first. What were her other options, she asked? Her father’s response was simple; you stay here, and your mother puts you on lockdown. At the Academy, he promised, Bee could at least have a little bit of freedom. Abigail agreed, with some contingencies in place. She would stay at the Academy for the holidays, out of spite, and until her mother was willing to apologize, or at the very least start calling her by her preferred name, Bee would only speak with her father. Out of desperation, her dad agreed. He’s been sleeping on the couch and in the office ever since, and Bee has only left the Wellington grounds when the staff absolutely requires her to. Wellington has yet to ‘draw out her potential,’ but Bee is starting to at least get comfortable here after her first year. •cottage - •what did you pack? Fully intending to live at the Academy, Abigail packed everything. Her clothes, her skateboard, her video game systems, her entire computer setup, her laptop, her ‘work’ (read: torrenting) laptop, her manga, her tablet for reading manga, jelly beans (read: hidden bud), actual jelly beans, and finally, three pairs of shoes. Her father sends her things she requests, and seems to be genuinely doing his best. Her mother does not speak to her. |
Oliver Dylan Stroud ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ 18 | Male | 6’4” | Straight | Senior ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Dislikes Puppies. Grown dogs are fine, but Oliver can’t handle puppies very well. They’re often not trained, and messy! ♦ Grilled cheese. He likes melts, which are actually factually different. ♦ Missing his cat. Oliver tried to convince the school his cat was an emotional support animal, to no avail. Likes ♦ Running! He would be on track and team if he was motivated, but he prefers not to. He just runs as a hobby.♦ Rap music. ♦ Eating. He burns a lot of calories, being as physical active as he is — he needs to consume a lot of calories, given that he’s so large. ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ skills ♦ Oliver has a natural affinity for physical activity. Weightlifting, sports, running, etc. He loves it, and it seems to love him back. He’d like to one day be a physical therapist or even a personal trainer, but is a little intimidated by the schooling, and has mostly resigned to finding his way into sports instead.gift ♦ Oliver likes to cook. He’s a natural at it, and could very reasonably be a chef in the future. He started out by following YouTube recipes while wanting to improve his health and watch his macros, but it’s evolved into Ollie cooking enough food for the whole cottage, if they ask anyway. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Oliver just wants people to see the fun he sees in physical activity. From offering to help make diet plans, to helping people in the gym, Oliver believes everyone can be a bit more healthy than they are, and he takes it upon himself to help with that. He’s approachable and will listen to people’s problems if they bring them to him. Not always able to offer the ideal advice, Ollie is proud to offer his friends (and he considers everyone his friend) a rock to lean on, and an ear to talk to. Oliver is the first person to ask if someone is okay. Despite being a warm and caring person, Oliver struggles with schoolwork. The basics are a bit confusing for him, and he has to take his time, or ask his classmates for help with his homework. He works hard, and he’ll never give up. He has a long way to go to reach his goals, but he seems determined to find his footing one day. •h i s t o r y Oliver was raised by a struggling single father, and Oliver wants to be successful enough to make sure his dad never has to work again. The pair are absolutely best friends, and Oliver will often say ‘well, my dad says’ about any given situation. Oliver’s father had to juggle two jobs, and raising a son while Oliver was growing up, and it wasn’t easy for either of them, though their struggle just helped forge their bond even stronger. At a young age, Oliver learned to be independent — he learned to cook and clean with the help of the internet (you can learn anything on YouTube nowadays), and he made sure his dad didn’t have to worry about the house. When he was twelve, he adopted a kitten he found in a box while walking home from school. The cat is named Snowflake, and is Oliver’s rock. Before coming to Wellington Academy, he would talk to Snowflake while cleaning or cooking at his home, and he found it was the best way for him to relax and unwind after a long day of school. Oliver started attending Wellington in his freshman year, after long talks with his dad about whether or not they wanted to try and even apply. At Wellington, Oliver is finding his footing. He’s spending less time worrying and stressing about homelife, and more time enjoying his youth, something his dad is happy to see. The only thing Oliver wishes is that the school would let him bring his cat, but he manages with video chats with Snowflake and his dad. During the holidays, Oliver goes home and works with his father, to contribute as much as he can, but at Wellington, he gets to really relax and enjoy the amenities the school offers. This year, he plans to stay at the Academy for parts of the holidays, and take a break for his last year here. •cottage - •what did you pack? Oliver packs light. He only brought a few essentials — his phone, a laptop he saved for almost two whole summers to buy, and then clothes. He also brought his lucky pen! It’s been out of ink for a while, but he can’t figure out how to reload it — so he just keeps it tucked in the breastpocket of his uniform anyway! Weller Stars: 2 |

Chali grew up helping with customizing cars and motorcycles, she did a lot of repairs on her own after watching her five older brothers, and other family do the same repairs on other cars. Her family business, tends to keep everyone busy. It's really odd for The Wang home and business to be silent. There has only ever been a few of times there was silence, and they were when her mother passed away, Her oldest brother had crashed car and was in the hospital for two weeks. or any other accidents or deaths in the family. Her family and family business is the most important thing in her life, So she tends to be more serious about that than anything else. The second most important thing has been and probably always will is her best friend for life, Jae Sun Kim aka Sunny. Their mothers used to be college best friends, So they had a lot of play dates when they were babies. and When Sunny's family bought the old restaurant next door to her family's shop and moved into the apartment above the restaurant. They became inseparable, they were always at each others homes and family business. Sunny was the one to give her the nickname Chali, He would always forget the O sound in her name and it kind of stayed like that with everyone. After her mother passed away, when she started middle school. she started to work harder, trying to make sure that her father had one less person to worry about. She started enter design contest and entering her projects into science fair, She would always hear that her ideas were extraordinary. and she was offered opportunity to go many schools on a scholarship. She can match a note with ease with her voice and often sings along to her twin sister's tunes. | •p e r s o n a l i t y Jessamine likes to call attention to herself anywhere she goes. The girl is extra. She has an outgoing personality and always greets everyone with a smile, especially boys. Helping out makes her happy and she will take time to cheer someone up as long as nothing is on her agenda. There is no doubt in her mind that she isn't pretty, leading her to easily flirt with people around her. She is charming and knows how to pick her words to make you think highly of her. If there's an opportunity to take the spotlight, she will take it; absolutely the first to volunteer to do a presentation. Her confidence is hard to shake and she's overly stubborn in her view. However, there can be a mean streak in Jessamine. She enjoys gossip and does not like it when people get in the way of her getting what she wants. Jess is very ambitious and does not mind hurting feelings to achieve success. She's not necessarily a constant bully and will do the right thing at the end of the day, but a few tears she could shrug off. Her patience also is lacking and she easily gets irritated. Because Jessamine cares so much about her reputation, her anger often manifests with a look that could kill and guaranteed vengeance. If she's quiet, be worried. Rules are more of guidelines to Jessamine; she has no qualms starting trouble or doing what it takes. •h i s t o r y Jessamine grew up in the most beautiful house on the block to wealthy parents. She could get everything she ever wanted. She and her twin sister Amarissa were the envy of all. With luxury clothing and beautiful faces, they seemed to be the ginger barbies. In her youth, she rose the social ladder with her twin quite easily and maintained above-average grades in school. Growing up in such an atmosphere led her to have terrifyingly high confidence and ability to step up. One would think a girl with such a background would mean she always had it easy. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Behind closed doors, the Bardot family was a mess. This led to issues with getting into trouble quite often for Jessamine, but not as much as their older brother. Their older brother was an extreme disappointment to the family that was given up on by their parents. All the weight fell to the twin girls to succeed. When the girls started to get into trouble, the parents sent them to Wellington Academy to distance them from everything. She’s mostly trained in ballet, but she’s dabbled in a few other styles of dance as well. Also with her love of music comes a fairly good understanding of math as truly that’s all music really is.gift ♦ Musical Prodigy: From a young age Amarissa has shown great interest in music and her parents decided to start her with piano lessons at 3. She picked up the instrument fast, much faster than her teacher would have ever thought possible. By 4 she was getting bored with playing just piano and soon picked up violin. That’s when everyone realized she had a true gift. She could learn how to play a song only after hearing it once or twice, if she wanted to learn a new instrument she’d do so in less than a year, and at 6 she was writing her own songs. It ended up pairing incredibly well with Jessamine who seemed to have a real gift for singing. | •p e r s o n a l i t y There are some similarities between Jessamine and Amarissa, like the fact that both girls like to draw attention to themselves. Perhaps it comes from a lack of attention at home unless it’s the attention to make sure the girls are succeeding. She can also be quite outgoing and tends to flirt with absolutely everyone, whether you’re a guy or a girl. While romantically she’s only interested in guys, she does enjoy the attention flirting brings her from all genders. There are stark differences between the twins as well though. While Jess tends to know how to talk and charm people, Ris isn’t quite as skilled at that. She’s more likely to say something incredibly offensive and quite honestly not even realize she offended you. She’s also less likely to be the one to apologize for things she’s done and tends to have quite a short temper. She’s also more likely to get in a physical altercation with someone and she definitely isn’t one that’s known to fight fair. Jess often has to pull her out of a situation to keep a fight from happening and maintain their reputation. She can also be quite vindictive and if you wrong her or her sister she will stop at nothing to ruin you. At the end of the day, though, she’s often a fairly pleasant and fun person to be around as long as you’re not on her shit list. •h i s t o r y On the outside the Bardot family seemed to be perfect. The parents appeared to be the perfect couple, always smiling and showing up to events together and bragging how wonderful life was. They had a son who was off abroad helping to feed the hungry and clothe the poor. They had twin daughters who were incredibly talented with music and just made it into Wellington Academy. There couldn’t possibly be anything wrong with this family. Pull back the curtains, however, and you’ll find there’s a lot of nasty secrets hidden behind closed doors. That perfect marriage? It’s only being held together with a flask and a wife that turns a blind eye to all her husband’s mistresses. The son that’s abroad? Actually he’s in a rehab center being forced to overcome his drug addiction. Then what about those perfect girls? Well they’ve been put under immense pressure to succeed unless they want to be disowned much like their older brother. To be under that pressure constantly and never shown true love from the two figures that are supposed to love you would make anyone start to crack and start to crack the girls have. They’d begun acting out, partying more and not appearing as perfect as they were supposed to for the media. So what was the solution? Ship them off to a high school up in the mountains so that they could “excel in their gifts.” It’s all a ploy and while yes the school will allow them to focus on such things, their parents really just wanted to hide them away like their brother. •cottage Wisteria Cottage •what did you pack? ♦ Far too many clothes ♦ Guitar ♦ Also attempted to sneak in alcohol ♦ Laptop ♦ Makeup ♦ Hair products ♦ A notebook that looks well used and full of music ♦ Several of her favorite books ♦ Pointe shoes ♦ Violin ♦ Her own pillows ♦ An assortment of hats and other accessories Theme Song Is curious about getting into acting and possibly writing her own musical.
