Time: Evening
Location: Bloom Village, Flower Fairy Kingdom
Interaction with: None.

Skar’s Warpact horde marched south with bioluminescent pixies, prepared to take on any fairy settlement along the way as the group crossed the western edge of the Flower Fairy Kingdom. The acquired slaves were either placed in an empty supply carriage meant for supplies or were forced to be pulled by shackle and chain. Ra the Ogre had about a dozen fairy slaves shackled to an iron cuff on his right wrist. He occasionally forgot about the slaves and tugged a bit too hard whenever he would reach up to scratch an itch on his back or pick his nose. It was not until he heard the squeals and wales of the women he accidentally tugged, that he would switch hands. Eventually the slaves made it a priority to vocally remind the Ogre as attempted to use his right wrist. At the same time, they would be growled at by goblins traveling beside them.

Meanwhile at the front of the pack was Skar, Dari the goblin, and Best Slave the enslaved fairy. It had been rather quiet at the front of the marching group of savages and slaves. Best found it uncomfortable, but she knew she was in a better position than the rest of those she knew from the village. The men and children were gone. The older fae women wouldn’t last with the small rations given out. That and the… physical torure that occurred when the goblins felt like committing foul acts. It was disgusting. It was cruel.

Dari kept his smirk up, thinking about the recent conquest. He had more than just fear of his leader now. He actually respected her some. Just when he figured he was the most clever of this massive group, she had hit the right targets at the appropriate time. First she had supplied her army with food and supplies with the raid on the convoy. Then she grabbed additional resources as well as acquired female fairy slaves. Not only could they heal, but these women fulfilled the primal needs of her troops. It was genius. It was perfect.

“Best! I am ready to listen. Tell tale of humans at big ball. Tell it well!” Skar ordered with a cold gaze. Skar had the young fae’s arm shackled to a ring Skar simply held in her right hand. Fortunately she did not suffer from the same habits as Ra the Ogre. Best gulped before speaking wondering where to begin based on what she remembered hearing and reading.

“Uh… It was the Roshmi Grand Ball… A large ball for all the popular and those willing to pay amas to attend...” Best paused as Skar growled.

“Dumb dumbs. Who pay to dance when dancing is free? Dumb!” Skar grumbled at the stupidity of the event. “Next.” Best figured Skar meant for her to continue, and so she did.

“Everything seemed fine until a fairy princess… I can’t remember who she’s supposed to be. Something Millinia. Her family is a big deal in the River Kingdom. They used to be kings and queens of… Sorry.” She had caught Skar scowling at her. “She made a big speech, going against Aklenroth and the dark elves. She even called for Avalian’s to stand against them.”

“Good n’ bad. The Dark Lord should not be feared by any… but Dark Lord cannot be beaten by fairy. Fairy are weak. Elf don’t even respect or trust. They tell me fairy are softest weakest of us all… Hmm what of humans. Was Darius at ball?”

“Darius? I don’t know, but the fairy did mention being responsible for them being here. She said would return them if they defeat Aklenroth. Then three demons appeared inside. They killed a lot of people.”

“Make sense. Demons are strong. Not strong as orc, but strong... Next.

“Um… People fought back. Some were humans.”

“Water magic?”

“I don’t know.

“We will find different solar box. You will know. Deal?”

“Yes.”

“No! Deal or no!” Skar shouted, wanting a specific reply.

“D-deal.”

“Good. No more talk for now.” Dari silently snickered. He had taken note of all the information that had been shared as well as what Skar seemed the most focused on. Humans… Darius… Water magic… Dari will find out more. Need to know more weakness of Skar. Then Dari will be leader of Warpact.

Maneru: The Deceptive Mist

TIME: Morning
LOCATION: Sewers of Roshmi City
INTERACTIONS: Ayita @13org, Torvi @Tae, Kuroi @hide on mana, Baraian @Dezuel, Risa @princess

Kuroi's clone received the full blunt of Torvi's attack. It was no match to the woman's superior strength as its body dispersed into blue smoke, her sword crashing down on the dirty waters as the whole sewer system shook as her earth magic responded to her actions and emotions. Ayita's magic forced a strong concentrated gust of sewer air right at the other clones' faces, making them off balance as the air pushed through the mist and dispersed it to the sides. Ayita was successful with her effort as the group managed to see the rest of the pathway of the sewer. Right at the end was the exit that will take them directly out into the forests outside Roshmi City. Standing guard against the exit was Maneru, the Deceptive Mist, but he wasn't alone. He smiled underneath the monstrous mask he was wearing with his scaley hand wrapped around the throat of...

Risa?!

She coughed through gritted teeth, grasping desperately at Maneru's hand to make him let her go. She was thrashing around as much as she could but her clothes were torn and she had bruises along her body as a result of fighting the Deceptive Mist. When the mist dispersed, her eyes widened in surprise to see the five battling their own clones. She looked at them in panic and extended her arm out towards them, unable to call out for them properly due to Maneru's hand around her neck. After a few moments, the blue mist closed just as quickly as it dispersed, blocking their view of Risa and Maneru once more, although they could hear both of their grunts at the other side of the mist as if they're fighting one another.

The rest of the remaining clones tried to attack the group but were dumbfounded by Baraian's shadows. They swung wildly at the air, their faces expressionless as the dead as they tried to attack the shadows instead of the group.

Bowyn’s attention shifted from Boreas back to Ethrael, who used a lot of words to convey very little information. Elthrael, it would seem, was on a fishing expedition, probing with questions to uncover the motivations of others. While Bowyn could appreciate Ethrael’s wit and the fact that he lacked the unbridled optimism and overly cheerful demeanor Bowyn expected from forest fae, Ethrael still gave no real information as to his own motives. His actions, however, spoke loudly enough; he slept away from the group and protected only himself, he could grow food but did so only as it suited him, and his questions about the aftermath of ending Aklenroth’s rule seemed more designed to weaken the collective resolve in rebellion. Ethrael was selfish, he wanted the benefits of traveling with a group but without the willingness to work or sacrifice for the collective benefit.

“Revenge, yeah that’s exactly what I want.” He responded, it wasn’t something he felt he needed to hide and he elaborated no further on the why. There was no need to fill in the details, to share painful memories with strangers, things he didn’t share with anyone save for Boreas. He kept up his pace as he spoke, relaxing as he allowed himself to be completely honest, he knew clearly what he wanted out of this rebellion, and it wasn’t anything that would put his loyalties into question. Bowyn was all in and there was a sudden sense of peace in that.

“And so I don’t care what the lich was or what his motives are for the things he’s done. Aklenroth is evil, in every sense of the word, and I want him dead. I want the dead to know peace. I want the humans to return to their homes and lives. I want this more than I want to draw breath. I have no interest in power, glory or wealth. That is the extent in which I care about this world and what becomes of it. Your questions, who becomes the sword, who smiths it, and who ends up with a crown upon their head, are irrelevant to me so long as that outcome is achieved. But what is it that you want Ethrael? To make your name matter? Advance your place in the world? How about a better question; what are you willing to sacrifice in the name of rebellion. Would you give life and limb to ensure victory?” Bowyn continued, speaking with a calm resolve. He kept an eye on the other fairy who had taken to the sky. Bowyn didn’t need to trust Ethrael, he could work with others without trust, he was used to that. He needed to know how likely the other man would be to turn on them if he thought his goals were more easily obtained through Aklenroth rather than through the rebellion.

“I assume by now you’ve pieced together what we are all up to.” He said as he turned his attention to Zephyrin. “No danger of being sold off to the black market with us at least. You’ve left the frying pan for the fire, quite the exciting place for our kind to be.” He added with a grin. He wasn’t concerned with her knowing what they were up to, if having a human companion with them didn’t clue Zephyrin in enough to figure it out then an empty headed fairy wasn’t going to be much of a threat. On the other hand if she had figured it out and was simply keeping that to herself then there was no point hiding it. He waited for a reaction from her, searching for any sign of a threat in her expressions, while not knowing exactly what he would do if he found it.

Vaeril had learned nothing from listening to the group, from what it seemed they were too busy bickering amongst each other to have any real valuable information. They were not core members of the rebellion, or so it looked that way. They seemed to be mostly second-hand beings just joining to serve their own needs and one with a wish to kill him. He needed a way to get away from this group as it was meaningless to be with those that provide nothing of use.

He stopped in his tracks, stating, “I cannot carry on like this; you all can go on ahead, I will be fine but I do not want to hold you back any longer than I am. I will find my way to the port eventually.” He then removed Darius’s arm from his shoulders so he could lean against a tree. “You, Darius, can continue with the group or choose to stay behind with me,” Vaeril said, before putting his hand to his head sending a telepathic message to Darius, ‘This group is not what I am seeking. I need to find core members of this rebellion to provide information that will be more useful than the ones here. I want you to split off with me and maybe we can get some training along the way before we find another group.’ Vaeril leaned his head against the tree, looking toward the group ahead.

To Malachi's interest, Myra introduced herself vocally. She seemed quite eager when he mentioned wanting to reunite with companions, so he decided she wasn't too much a threat for now. Her adorable appearance did make Malachi a bit bias. Footsteps suddenly stole his attention and he glanced toward the noise. An elf emerged and asked if they were traveling toward the coast. Given he had come out of no-where and had the same location in mind, Malachi was not quick to trust him, but it seemed most likely this was a dark elf, to Malachi's disgust. What his plan was and whether or not he was truly alone and as vulnerable as he was trying to present himself was all questionable.

Malachi remained guarded as he looked the dark elf in the eye, "Yes. We are heading to the coast."He answered him simply, before another figure approached. It was the man who accompanied Myra from before. His apology for leaving them to the spiders made him roll his eyes, but he didn't audibly comment. Belladonna whispered in his ear and he coolly shrugged and pointed lazily in the southern direction. "Onward. Keep up with my pace."He said lamely, very unhappy to have as much company as they did, all which he had no reason to trust but with the human on the line, he wasn't making rash movements. He did not have the energy to play nice or be overly friendly, but it would not be obvious that he was concerned about anyone being a threat. He moved forward, hopefully leading them all into a quick pace.

"It seems you're in quite the predicament, little princess...or should I say little queen?"

It was not long after the voice reached Risa's ears that she felt the weight on the casket shift. Her eyes fluttered open to see the winged woman using a sharp piece of her wing to cut through the vines. Risa hadn't expected anyone to come across her and figured her best bet would be to rest up so she could heal herself enough to get out. She felt herself being lifted soon enough as the girl asked where she should take her. There was the healing center, of course, but bringing her there where she would so easily be identified...

She quietly spoke up, giving her instructions to take her back to the Pretty Flower bar, which wasn't too far off. "Thank you, sweet one. Is there any way I can repay you for your kindness?"Risa managed to ask.

Helio had remained, probably unbeknownst to Risa. He lounged casually on a nearby tree, curious to who would come to his sister's aid. He figured someone would and if they didn't, she'd call in some mangy animals to get her out of the casket. He could still feel his heart pumping with adrenaline as he sat there in the night's silence. Truly he hoped she'd start sobbing in desperation or something interesting, but she was all too quiet.

Little did Risa know that Helio felt it was actually his gift from the Gods to find her in the state he had. To see her in such emotional turmoil enough to go seek comfort from an old corpse had made him giddy. However, being able to drive her to such unthinkable depths of despair was almost orgasmic. The sheer shock and terror in her eyes as he left her there was priceless. Her thinking had been so wishful that when he emerged all too conveniently for the trees, he was sure she had known something was wrong and ignored the better judgment in the back of her mind, which was very funny to Helio.

Helio couldn't blame the girl. He'd miss himself too to illogical extremes if he were her.

Minutes past and Helio was getting very, very bored. I suppose maybe this is where you die, after all, sis. How anticlimatic of you.He thought to himself and hopped to his feet and turned away. He felt a slight pang in his heart that had been in some part pulling him to stay in the first place, but he thought nothing of it. What actually kept his feet planted to the branch was a sudden movement in the corner of his eye. He glanced over his shoulder as he watched familiar mithril wings descend into the hole.

He hadn't believed it until he heard Azriel's voice.

"I'll be damned."He said to himself with a grin. All sorts of ideas raced through his head as he watched Aklenroth's ever-so-loyal, winged-demihuman pluck the rebel princess out of her casket and then proceed to ask her where to take her to be healed. Out of all the things he expected, this was the last. Though he could intervene, he thought it'd be much more hilarious to watch it play out then go instigate with Azriel after she was finished with Risa.

The birdie escaped her cage. Time to get a new pet and clip their wings this time, Umber.

He had to bite his lip to bite back laughter as he imagined all the problems he could cause. Telling Umber about this would instigate all kinds of fun so that was just what he'd do the moment he found him. It'd have to wait sometime as Helio already had scheduled plans, but sure as hell it would be done. He was distracted by the wonderful day-dreams of infighting between Aklenroth's prized warriors for only a moment longer before he pondered further. Though it was possible she was playing a sick game as he had been, it did not seem likely. However, his mind had answered his question before he had really begun to ponder it.

Azriel had usually watched things play out before intervening, for whichever reason. She liked a good show just as much as he did. So she must have known that perhaps he'd still be here and... He snapped his fingers as he finally put things together.

Little old to have a rebellious phase, aren't you, Azzy?Helio thought with amusement.

@Tae Elsea

Umber's elven form burst into flame, but he did not appear to be in pain as the fires slowly charred his skin and burned away his clothing. He simply smiled at her with glee.

"Don't you worry, Elsea. I will see you sooner than you think… Maybe if I appear as an ally, you will accept my offer? The feline perhapsssss." His body withered away as nothing but the flame remained. At that moment Cade arrived wearing a very very familiar smile of glee.
-----

@Helo Cade

Cade made it all the way back to the clearing that was the campsite. The fading voice of his late brother antagonizing him with each stride he took. The smell of burning wood had filled the air as he approached. His senses did not deceive him… at least not entirely as he watched Elsea summon flames around the perimeter of the campsite that would keep him outside it while the bushes and trees burned in a raging fire. A crazed and sadistic look was painted on her once so delicate face.

They need to die, brother… Like the undead, they do not belong. Their purpose is only to destroy. Shadow's voice whispered within Cade's mind.
-----

@Potter Corvina

Cora hesitated as the line of flame fired at her. The flames did no harm but the flash of fire disrupted her field of view. Then something quite interesting happened…

SMACK!

Like the hand of God, Linnet's bare palm connected with Corvina's face in a hard downward strike.

"Bitch! You stupid..." She smacked her again. "...orphaned…" This time a straight punch with the same hand "...bitch!" She pushed Corvina with enough force to make her possibly stumble and fall.

Linnet scowled menacingly before backing away. "How about a true test of magic since you can't scrap to save your life… literally by the way." She tried to keep up a serious face but chuckled in her hand. "Let's see who is the best, dumpster baby. You…" Linnet's body erupted in flames, her body now appearing to be one with her element. "Or me!" She held her arms out and performed a mock bow for her adopted sister.

Cora watched Linnet and surrounded herself with fire. The flames danced and flickered amongst the shadowy forest. The canopy of leaves above was illuminated by the flames. She snarled at Linnet’s words. Rat breath? Who was she to talk to? The woman was as ratty as they came! Cora gasped with shock as Linnet walked through the flames. She took a step back and bristled with anger. Growls emitted from her as she glowered with hatred and rage. How had she done that? Is it something Cora herself was capable of doing? She didn’t understand. However, she also didn’t have time to waste as the bitch herself threw a line of flames at her. Flashbacks of the dracolich filled her mind’s eye. She hesitated as the line of flames fired at her; then reacted quickly. Cora counted the flames with her own, but a few managed to singe her dress. She scowled and let out a yelp of surprise and pain. She raised her hand and removed the flames with her magic and scowled. Then….

Cora cried out as Linnet’s hand smacked into her face unexpectedly. Alarmed, she pulled her arms over her face to shield it. Her words cut through her like a knife. Each punch made her grit her teeth. Cora didn’t want to hurt her yet… No, she wanted to defend. Still, the idea that she could hurt, or even maybe seriously injure Linnet, crossed her mind. The woman had ruined her life, her self-esteem and worth, her mind…. Cora stumbled, trying to withhold her fury and hatred, though it was becoming unbearable. She scowled as the bitch backed away and continued speaking.

Glaring, Cora lowered her arms from her face but kept them up in case of another attack. Dumpster baby? No. Cora studied her next move. Her jaw dropped as Linnet had set herself safely on fire without harming herself. How was this possible? Did this woman get taught by the Lich or something? Her mind reeled from the insults. Then suddenly, Cora couldn’t help but start laughing. The woman could only insult her birth status, nothing more. It was clear who was truly the superior sibling.

”You sound like a broken record, Linnet. You can’t insult anything other than my birth status. You’re nothing more than a backstabbing jealous slut, who achieved nothing on your own. You’re a lowlife scumbag with a heart of coal. I wonder if if the shoe had been on the other foot, what would become of you? It’s a shame really that all you’re good for is your pretty face. I wonder though if it got carved up, what else would you have? Nothing. You’re a selfish, arrogant, worthless, good-for-nothing bitch. I feel sorry for you. I recall that you were the lonely one in school, and didn’t have many friends, longingly chasing after Gale, till I came around. Sad for you, Linnet, but it ends here.”

Cora then focused on the flames. She could use fireballs, but risked burning the forest. She glared. She wouldn’t burn down this forest like Ayita’s home had been. She had to be better than that. Instead, Cora glanced at her body and stared at Linnet. ”You’ll never be better than me Linnet.” Cora tried to focus on the flames surrounding her to begin pulling them away from her foe. She began making a protective shield form around herself and concentrated hard. Cora stared at her and shook her head with disappointment. She braced herself and did her best to control her anger.

”You’re nothing but a shame, Linnet. I think Mom and Dad once told me you were a whoopsie.” Cora then took a few steps forward and formed fireballs in her hand. If she hit the trees, she’d focus on putting them out. ”But you’re nothing without me.” Cora stepped forward and reached through the flames herself. She then shot fireballs at her accurately and set the ground beneath her on fire. The flames burned brighter than Linnet’s and were hotter. She scowled as she began throwing fireballs repeatedly and didn’t relent her attacks. Each one came faster than the next and stronger as well. A wall of fire encircled the two as Cora began allowing her rage and grief to fuel her flames. The clearing around her was illuminated by flames and may have been visible. Their shadows danced across the trees, briefly illuminating a figure she couldn't quite focus on, nor was able to truly see.

Artemis
Time: Afternoon - Evening
Location: Forests near River Kingdom > River Kingdom Healing Center
Mood: Lazy Afternoons
Interaction: NPC: Asher and Flower

After finishing the fish, Artemis painstakingly crawled into the bloody river. She groaned in pain and began applying pressure to the wound. She wanted to remove the knife, but knew she would only bleed out. Scowling, she looked ahead to the forest. She was close to the kingdom. All she had to do was swim another mile and be there. It sounded easier said than done. Sighing, Artemis swam forward slowly and painfully, not caring to clean up the mess she had left.

After what felt like eternity, Artemis arrived in the River Kingdom. She could hardly breathe from the pain in her side. Her vision was blurry and she felt like vomiting. She crawled out of the river onto her hands and feet, gasping for air. She collapsed onto her side and watched as nearby fairies turned to stare. Her tail transformed into legs in which she pulled up to her chest protectively. The kingdom spun around her sickeningly. She watched as a few of them flew towards her, yelling for help and aid. Her wound began bleeding once more, soaking the mermaid in it. Artemis whispered Risa’s name and watched as everything turned black.

Artemis finally came to consciousness but didn’t open her eyes. Instead, she listened to her surroundings. Had she made it to the kingdom? Was she with fairies or Dark Elves? Had River been alerted to her location? She felt something warm around her and could feel it was a blanket. The hub of voices sounded through the air, as did footsteps. She heard distinctly familiar voices but couldn’t make out what they were saying. Artemis peeled her eyes open a few inches and found a black haired fairy standing beside her. She went to close her eyes, yet the maiden had seen her and smiled. It was rather bitter looking nonetheless and also filled with concern.

”About time you woke up, missy. I was beginning to wonder if you were going to die on this bed.” The woman spoke up in a strangely familiar voice. Artemis peeled her eyes open and groaned from the light. The nurse-fairy glanced up and fixed it so it wasn’t in her eyes. Artemis sighed in relief and looked around. The fairy healing and mending her wounds had dark black hair and vivid brown eyes. Artemis recalled her name being floral, but couldn’t pinpoint it. Artemis felt a pit in her stomach. She had made it to the River Kingdom and brought it to the Healing Center. She was in a public room for now, although she wished she wasn’t.

As she glanced around, fairies glanced at her left and right, whispering amongst themselves. She was sure she heard someone whisper “treacherous whore” under their breaths. She gritted her teeth but pretended not to hear it. Artemis glanced at her Healer and sighed quietly. ”Ignore it, sweetie. You look like you’ve been through hell.” Artemis smiled faintly, a wickedness entering her eyes. That was saying it mildly.

She began to chuckle. ”My dear Flower, you’re right.” The fairy smirked, mirroring her emotions. Artemis couldn’t help remember her name, but the fairy seemed to accept the name and recognize it.

”You can tell me all about it in the private room. C’mon.” Flower helped Artemis up and onto her feet quickly. She winced at first, then glanced down at her body. She was wearing fresh clothes; a t-shirt and loose pants with a jacket. She touched her side and smiled faintly upon seeing the wound had been healed.

”You’ve always been one of the best healers.” Artemis smiled faintly and leaned against Flower as they walked her into a private room. She collapsed onto the bed and sighed in relief as Flower shut the door.

”Sorry, you weren’t put into a private room first. Nobody knew who you were until Ilia and the rest arrived. I did, and fought for it but they wouldn’t let me until you healed. Worried someone might kill you I guess. The Dark Elves were in the room too and so I had to wait and pull the blanket over your head.” She shrugged it off as she sat her chair up against the door. ”So Arty, what brings you back here? I take it you were at the ball, judging by your dress. Where have you been all this time?” Her voice held a sudden edge to it that made Artemis frown as she pulled the blankets around herself. She had forgotten how inquisitive the fairy was. It didn’t make her smile as it normally would have. As her mind began processing everything, she felt ready to explode.

”I’m here seeking refuge.” The lie came out of her mouth faster than she could process it. She didn’t want anyone to know that Risa had been here recently. She hadn’t seen her yet. Hopefully she was safe. It tugged at her heartstrings that she didn’t know Risa’s location. ”As to where I’ve been, I was in the Black Market, owned by River until recently. I escaped, that’s all you need to know.” The tears filled her eyes as memories threatened to overwhelm her. ”And yes, I was at the ball. I went outside before the …” Artemis couldn’t stop the tears filling her eyes.

”I abandoned Darius and Myra! I don’t know where Risa is and I was just nearly murdered by Four Dark Elves and I don’t know what to do or where to go! If River is hunting me down then what am I supposed to do?” Artemis broke down hysterically, overwhelmed. Darius and Myra had they lived? Was Risa kidnapped? Did anyone even see her arrive? Knowing the fairy, she’d have been inconspicuous. Still, the anxiety and knowing she’d have more Dark Elves trailing her was too much.

Flower’s eyes widened with shock. She rushed to her side and pulled her into a tight hug. Her voice became gentle, no longer holding the hostility it had moment’s ago. ”I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you, Arty. We don’t have to talk about any of this. You’re safe right now, and I won’t let anyone come attack you. I’ll ask Asher to bring you some food and water. Okay?”

Artemis sniffled and wiped her eyes. She trembled as she gripped the blanket in her fists. She watched as Flower went to the door and beckoned a male fairy. Artemis sniffled. His dark hair and topaz eyes sent pangs through her. He stared with shock, confusion and a hint of anger as well, but didn’t speak. He nodded to Flower’s words and rushed out. Flower shut the door until he knocked three times and then once more after five seconds. Flower opened the door and pulled it open; Asher snuck inside and the two shared a brief, hushed conversation. Then, the fairy stood by the door as Flower came to her side and shoved a warm glass into her hand. Food entered it next, and Artemis slowly began to eat. She didn’t know if it was poisoned, yet at the moment she wasn’t sure she cared. The weight of the emotions filling her threatened to crush her beneath it. It was quiet as Flower began speaking quietly about her garden, the forest she tended to, and other woodland creatures. Artemis ate and drank as she listened and grew more and more numbed.

Finally, she managed to calm down and stared at them both. ”Thank you both. I’m sorry… I’m-” She began speaking, but Asher shook his head.

”No, we’re sorry. We should have been there for you more. It’s really good to see you, Artemis.” A genuine smile filled his face as he met her gaze. He came over and sat on the other side. ”We missed you.” Artemis managed a ear-to-ear grin as they both embraced her on each side. She hugged them both back.

”So did I, Ashy and Flower.” Artemis smiled as tears streamed down her face. ”I have loads to tell you.”

@Tae Elsea @Helo Cade

In the very next moment of the two facing each other, the illusion meant to inspire distrust vanished. No wicked faces, no darkness, and no… oh the flames. Those were very real. Elsea had only been responsible for the single spot where a harmless flame danced beside her. Corvina however….
-----

@Potter Corvina

Cora fired fireball after fireball striking her target Linnet with precision. Linnet seemed to brush the attacks off, but soon a grunt escaped her, then a groan.

"Is that it, Corvina?!?!" Linnet was surprisingly arrogant. She couldn't even strike back at Corvina, not anymore. Corvina was right, she had been better than her almost everything. Linnet did excel at something, however.

As flames kissed leaves and bark in the clearing… As attacks that appeared to hit soared deep into brush, tree, and even beast…

Linnet excelled at pulling everything out from under Corvina and making her look like the fool. That's why Umber chose the brat over anyone or anything else. She was Corvina's ruin. Soon there appeared to be no sign of Linnet, just the tamed and controlled ring of fire.

"Goooood…. You proved her wrong, young Corvina… You truly are better than her… Better than her at…." Corvina's surroundings were suddenly filled with nothing but burning trees and vegetation with black smoke billowing into the air. "...ruin."

Perhaps I found too much enjoyment with that one… Too bad that she has been claimed by another… First that Darius with Malgormuun, and now this one… Still, I favor Elsea.

As Torvi rushed past him, Kuroi instantly rushed towards one of the clones that were following Kuroi's. He instantly sent a powerful low-kick to the leg of Baraian's clone, sweeping it off its feet. As he kicked through the target's legs, he used the momentum to bring his leg back up high before letting it fall down onto the clone's head with perfect precision. He quickly felt the grip of his wakizashi and crouched down, slicing through the enemy's neck and keeping his free hand up to have some sort of guard. By the time he had finished his swift and brutal execution, the vulpine looked up to see the remaining clones were fighting off Baraian's shadows. He let out a small grunt as he looked around at his eyes before deciding to engage the last few clones before someone else could. After all, after having dug his teeth into Torvi's forearm, he had to do something worth a damn!

His empty hand wrapped grabbed onto the hair of Torvi's clone before yanking it back into his wakizashi. Letting a slight growl, he quickly turned around and flung his wakizashi at Ayita's clone once and for all. Whether or not he succeeded was beyond his worries now as he met his eyes with a man who seemingly held an innocent woman captive. He brought his dominant hand up next to his ear and readied his other hand as he readied himself into a left-lead fighting stance, one that was awfully similar to a boxer's stance. "It seems the rat has brought along a toy so we do his bidding." He sneered out, gritting his teeth behind his mask as he slowly approached Maneru until he was ten or so feet away from him.

Valok noted the way the female hid behind the male light elf, and he decided that the golden haired elf was indeed the leader of the group. He could tell she was cautious, his presence made her anxious and he wondered if it was only because he was a dark elf or because they worried he might be a guard from Roshmi. Either way she was not outwardly hostile, and neither was the light elf. Another man joined the group led by the light elf, this one speaking of the spiders, and he seemed to be the most talkative of the group. While the white furred demon that had identified herself as Myra, looked very alert and reminded him of the great predatory beasts that freely roamed Daka. He decided he liked the demon best, it was a familiar presence, something dangerous by design which reminded him of home and it’s body language seemed easily read.

As the light elf who headed the group finally spoke, he didn’t offer any objections to Valok following along. He did not have to wonder what the reaction would’ve been if his former legion had encountered a lone traveler with the same request. Mockery would’ve been their kindest response. Their seemingly indifferent reception was the friendliest welcome he had received in the south, and it was the probably the best outcome given both what he was and where he came from. The male light elf seemed a suitable enough leader; calm, decisive, and not overly concerned with pleasantries.

“You are hungry.” Valok stated as he looked at the female whose stomach had growled. As he kept pace with the group he retrieved a poorly wrapped item from his pocket and unwrapped the cloth around it. Inside were a few bars made of a congealed bone broth, roasted mealworms, and flaxseeds. He broke off a piece of one and ate it to show it was not poisoned before extending his hand and offering to share. It had a texture that was both slimy and crunchy, and while it didn’t taste pleasant it was nutritious. “I am willing to share as a thank you.” He added, extending the offer to the group. He also hoped that his offer would at least be enough that they would not immediately slit his throat at an opportune moment.

They need to die, brother… Like the undead, they do not belong. Their purpose is only to destroy.

The voice that mimicked his brother whispered in Cade’s mind and before him danced flames that surrounded the campsite. Elsea stood amongst the flames there, summoning and controlling them, allowing it to continue to catch and spread. Her face now adorn with symbols drawn in blood, something frenzied and savage sparked in her eyes. A cold shiver ran through him, a mix of both fear and dread at the thought of what might have to be done if she did not stop. Nearby Cora seemed overtaken by a similar madness, fire surrounding her as well, and distant shouting that he couldn’t quite make out. Whatever it was that had conjured the image of Shadow must be affecting them as well. Whatever it was wanted him to attack these humans, and Cade knew he could not give that creature what it wanted.

Cade continued forward, closing his eyes, keeping his hand as his sides rather than readying his claws for attack. This creature was one of lies and deception, he could not trust his senses, he had to rely on what he knew was true, on what he believed in. The voice that had spoken to him was wrong, the humans did belong here. Avalia had called them, through magic, through the DROM’s, to save this world. These were Avalia’s chosen heroes, and he had seen them at the ball vowing to fight for this world. These were good people, people he would put his faith in, and no sorcery would change that. Cade continued forward until the heat put off by the flames was nearly unbearable, and then he stopped. He focused on staying calm, trying to think of what to do next.

As he opened his eyes again, he saw Elsea without the look of madness upon her, and the flames around her had calmed to a single controlled area. It had been a trick, just as not-Shadow had been a trick. Had Ayita been a trick as well? Cade wasn’t sure, that had felt too real and with the threat still around he could not focus on that. Whatever the sorcerer taunted Cora with still seemed to be happening. Her flames struck brush and tree, a few unlucky creatures even bore the flames, and the scent of seared fur and flesh was in the air. Cade felt a pang of sorrow in his heart to see it, the forests were the place he held sacred. They were where he hunted, where life was allowed to remain wild and free, and see any destruction of it would always be a source of pain.

“I know you are not my enemy, and I would not harm you, nor anyone under my protection.” Cade spoke calmly. He waited to be sure she felt the same before approaching further. “But something dark toys with us, wants us to turn on each other. We are stronger than that.” Cade added with a nod, then with sad eyes glanced back at Cora and the destruction around her. ”Is it within your power to stop these flames?” He asked of Elsea.

So they were planning a rebellion against Alkenroth.

Based on the information Zephyrin had gathered from the start, they must have had something to do with Roshmi City being placed under lockdown. The rebellion would also explain the presence of a human in Avalia. Did they summon him here for that purpose? It was certainly possible. Zephyrin had only heard stories about a device that could warp humans into this dimension, but it would seem that those bedtime stories about human heroes had some truth to them after all.

The young fairies of the winter settlement - especially females - were usually kept in the dark about important matters concerning the world outside. Despite being told that it was dangerous for winter fairies to venture outside - for the reason that they may be captured by dark elves and sold to the black market - they didn't know much of anything else. They were more-so kept away from matters involving politics.

Zephyrin's father, despite being one of the elected leaders, chose to keep her ignorant about outside matters. She had always been a curious one, and he knew that her curiosity would lead her to leave the settlement one day. He was right.

Zephyrin had been living her life in peace inside the settlement, oblivious to the dangers outside of it. She had always believed that the elders exaggerated those stories of the lich to keep the youngsters from venturing out. It wasn't until the recent attack that Zephyrin had her first taste of real danger. However, this didn't quell Zephyrin's plans to leave the village and go on a journey. If anything, it only made her curiosity grow. She had to see the world for herself and judge it with her own eyes.

As Bowyn and Elthrael's conversation struck her with realization, a question came to mind.

'How can they hope to succeed if they can't even get along with each other?' She crossed her arms and frowned.

Well, not that it mattered. Zephyrin was only here for one reason; Bowyn had offered her adventure and she had accepted it. In exchange for food and protection, Zephyrin would mind her own business and look the other way. She had no interests in their little rebellion, and if things got too dangerous, she would flee.

The only thing Zephyrin had to worry about was being used as a decoy or ending up as collateral damage. Surely they wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice her for their goal. For that reason, she couldn't trust them. They didn't even trust each other, did they? Zephyrin suppressed an amused grin.

"Rebellion or not, it doesn't matter to me. If I separate myself from the group now, a dark elf will find me first and kill me! I'm lucky that hasn't happened yet." Zephyrin replied to Bowyn and shook her head. Staying with a group of rebels was dangerous, but Zephyrin also wouldn't last long traveling alone. She wouldn't even know where to go. The map she had with her had already been drenched in the rain. It was as good as garbage now.

Leaving or staying with the group both posed some risks, but staying with them for the time being would at least prolong her survival. As long as she showed them that she wasn't a threat to them and their rebellion, they would allow her to keep tagging along. More importantly, there was no way Zephyrin would go back to that boring old village!

Zephyrin returned Bowyn's watchful gaze, as if to show him that she wasn't afraid or perturbed even after learning about their rebellion. He had been trying to assess her for awhile now, and although it didn't particularly bother her, it did annoy her to some extent. How could he suspect an elegant lady such as herself? Not to mention they were kindreds.

"I have no interest in joining your rebellion, but you promised me an adventure and I am taking it." Zephyrin added with resolve. As the words left her mouth, Zephyrin noticed something from the corner of her eye. She looked up to sky and saw a faint trace of smoke from a distance.

"More importantly, it seems we're not alone." Zephyrin pointed up to the sky.

The port town. One day after Roshmi ball.

The morning had come, a new day dawning. The sun shone brightly, to most it would be a good thing. For the farmers tending the fields, for the people going about their daily lives. Though to Carneylus the light wasn't exactly his ally, he had to wear a set of specially crafted visored mask over his eyes. Metallic in their nature, and dark hardened glass for his eyes. With these he could navigate around during the day decently, thought looking into the sun itself or very bright lights were still not a good idea.

As a demihuman of the batfolk variety, Carneylus prefered the night if he had to chose, even if the warmth that the day brought was refreshing. The last night's feast and discussion with Valaeon had gone about smoothly, even if the demidragon was expensive in the food department. To not show him hospitality was out of the question, and he did have some amas to spend. While not as rich as a noble or a merchant, the demibat had made the port town his home since many years ago. Long did he try to scrape together amas to travel to the flower kingdom to find his father, but as the times changed his attention shifted elsewhere to others in need.

Many were the thoughts that crossed his mind, of the humans which had come to their world, of the lich and the looming threat of war. The people of Avalia deserved freedom, but not only from Aklenroth but of other tyrants which were serving alongside the undead king. The orcish warchiefs, the elven governor and various others which had made life miserable for most. Yet raising ones hand against any such person would not be a task for just one person alone, there were many influencial and powerful people in Avalia. While he and Valaeon were indeed very capable combatants, there were others with far more influence, wealth and power than them for certain. Not to mention when it came to magics.

Yet despite all of that, he knew there would come a time to rise up and fight and that time was closing in. The past was a cruel yet effective teacher, it made the demibat strive to get stronger so that he could avoid things from his own past to repeat themselves. Carneylus was taken away from his thoughts as a caravan rolled into the port town, various farmers and common folk bringing their crops and harvests to sell at the marketplace. All had to earn their livelihood someway.

There was one specific wagon carrying crops that caught the attention of some dark elves as it rolled into town, they decided to stop it and inspect it, as if they were searching for rebels. What would they even look for? How could one tell a rebel from a non-rebel anyhow? The dark elves were nontheless still willing to display their authority over most others, in this particular case it was a wolflike demihuman and his elven friend that was stopped.

"You do realize that hiding rebels or aiding rebels warrants death right?" A dark elven man wearing plated armor asked the caravan driver, the dark elves always knew how to stir up trouble where there were none to begin with.

"Please! We have nothing to do with any rebels we are just here to sell our goods... please try to understand-" The wolfman spoke up to the dark elf, his facial expression clearly showing that he was worried.

"Shut your mouth!" Another dark elf carrying a spear yelled out as he began to stick the sharp end of the spear among the crops, spearing some of the goods.

"Hey stop! You are ruining our harvest! Brigands!" The elven woman which had accompanied the wolfman said out aloud, drawing attention of a few bystanders which seemed incapable of turning a blind eye to the display before them.

"Oh what's that? Well well, who'd knew that a moon elf woman had such a filthy mouth." A longhaired dark elven male in a leather armor said aloud as he walked up and took hold of the woman's hair. "I should teach you a lesson. Heh.. maybe we should have some fun with you. Maybe we'd sell you to the orcs?" He snickered as he drew a knife and pointed it at her face.

"Let me go! Please- stop..." The elven woman pleaded, as the dark elves began to laugh one after the other. The wolfman got down on his knees. "Please I am telling you we don't know about any rebels! Please let us go!"

"I told you to shut up!" The heavily armored dark elf raised his arm and hand with the intent to slap the wolfman across the face. But his hand stopped as if frozen midair. The armored dark elf turned his head to look at his arm, where a hand was now holding it firmly in place. He seemed shocked momentarily, before it turned into anger as he set his eyes on the demibat which had grabbed his arm. "What do you think you are doing?! Let go off me or I will gut you like a fairy!" The armored dark elf spitted out to the winged being next to him.

"I am only going to say this once. Get out of here." Carneylus said in a stern tone of voice, his dark eyes setting at the dark elf's crimson red ones.

"Why you cocky little shit!" The dark elf uttered and swung with his free hand towards the demibat, who caught his armored fist using the palm of his hand. The demihuman then pressed his hand around the closed fist and the metal began to buckle inwards and there was a snapping sound of bone breaking under it. The dark elf fell to his knees screaming as the demibat allowed his hands to slip off him.

"You bastard!" The spearwielding dark elf yelled out and ran forwards with his spear, whereof the demibat softly drew his saber from it's sheath and made a slight sidestepping motion to counter the dark elf's thrusting spear, before the bladed edge of his saber sliced up and through the wooden pole that was the spear. The dark elf quickly pulled the remaining wooden staff-like piece back, before throwing it towards the winged man who dodged it simply by walking slightly to the side.

"One more step and I will carve her up!" The longhaired dark elf yelled, pressing his knife against the elf woman's throat.

"You are a coward who hides behind an innocent woman..." Carneylus said in a serious tone of voice, his tone neither displaying immense anger nor spite. "Drop your sword right now fool!" The longhaired dark elf demanded, while his former spearwielding companion drew a sword he had sheathed by his belt.¨ Carneylus took a slight breath and then threw his sword aside, raising both of his hands soon after.

"Wise choice dumbass..." The now sword wielding dark elf said as he stepped closer to his companion, which now threw his hostage to the side. "Out of the way bitch. I am going to teach this beast a lesson..." The longhaired dark elf held out his free hand and began to use umbrakinesis, summoning dark vines to assail the winged demihuman. Carneylus wrapped his wings around himself quickly as he saw the dark vines shoot out and soon enough they enveloped him. Thorny and dark.

"Not so tough without your sword are ya?!" The swordwielding dark elf mocked as he glanced to his companion and grinned. The wolfman had at this point snuck under his wagon to hide and the elven woman took cover behind a nearby barrel.

"Not a bad coffin for you, winged idiot." The longhaired dark elf said in a satisfied tone as he ceased his magic, now looking at the vine covered 'pod' he had made in front of them. Then there was a cracking sound, then another one and finally the pod itself burst open as if it had exploded from the inside, as large batlike wings spread wide open as parts of the vines flew all over the place. "What? Impossible!" The swordsman said aloud in a mix of amazement and disbelief at the sight of the demibat breaking out of the coccoon of vines.

"Fine! We'll do this the old fashioned way!" The longhaired dark elf rushed forwards with his knife, swinging it for the winged opponent who replied by slamming one of the wings right into the approaching dark elf, sending him tumbling backwards into trough filled with water for weary horses. His swordwielding companion soon took a charge of his own swinging his sword in an overhead motion, the demihuman simply sidestepped yet again, grabbing hold of the dark elf's wrist, guiding him forwards further so he would lose his balance, while stepping up beside him and using a flattened hand to chop him at the back of his neck. Causing the dark elf to fall to the ground uncouncious.

The fight didn't end there as the longhaired dark elf rose from his watery bed and the heavily armored dark elf which he had broken the hand of was now drawing a dagger with his other hand and attempting to stab the winged man. Carneylus wing made a slap in reply, sending the dagger to the ground and soon enough the dark elf's field of vision became that of an outstretched hand enveloping his vision and it closed around his face and he felt as if his head was being crushed by the pressure. But he was lifted from his feet and then hurled down to the ground with such force that he passed out even before he hit the ground.

The armored dark elf was dropped yet again to the ground and the man turned to face the last dark elf standing who looked less than happy to see him. "I'll kill you!" The dark elf screamed and hurled himself in a fit of rage at the winged man, whereof both his wrists were grabbed in turn and then he felt the pressure of his bones beginning to be hardly pressed, causing him to drop his knife.

"Haven't you done enough already? Take your friends and leave us be." Carneylus said in an even more firm tone than before, squeezing the dark elf's wrists even further to the point he could feel how his bones were beginning to slightly become strained.

"Arghhh! Kill him! Kill this filthy beast and the king will-" The dark elf screamed out in pain and sheer rage, before his voice trailed off by the snapping sound of bones breaking. It didn't take long for the dark elf to be dropped to the ground and Carneylus bent down to pick up his saber, before sheathing it. How did things always turn out the way they did? He wasn't sure but what he was sure of was that he would never again watch the innocent be bullied or treated unfairly. With a nod of his head he motioned to the wolfman under the wagon and to the elf woman to continue along their way before calling for a healer.

While the dark elves were doing things which were no doubt evil, did they deserve to die by his hand as a result? He believed in redemption, perhaps it wasn't too late for them to do some good. All it took was to give them a chance. The chance he never got when he was young, how it seemed like his fate had already been written for him. And how things changed in time, he became who he was because of things that happened to him.

"Would someone be kind enough to bring these three to the healers or alert the healers of their condition? Thank you." He solemnly bowed his head to the onlookers before continuing to walk before he was stopped by the elven woman.

"Wait.. I.. thank you. I am sorry for putting you into trouble, If there's anyway I can make it up to you I-" The elf woman said softly, her feet touching oneanother as she was trying to come up with the right words.

"There is no need for that. Just be on your way before more of them show up." The winged man softly nodded his head to the elven woman, with a soft upturn at the corner of his mouth, giving her a single pat on her shoulder before continuing along his way.

Time:Morning
Location:Roshmi slums of the city

Clara's head was whirling. Not only had she been to a ball filled with fantasy creatures, but she had also seen an actual giant demon. It had been bigger than anything she had even imagined, even dinosaurs. To her terror, it actually started eating people, so of course, she and her elf companions cleared right out of there, as Daphna grumbled about how she told them going was a bad idea. Clara begged to differ. She had hoped to meet other humans, but at least she had gotten to see all different creatures. No one could have ever hoped to back in her town to see a ball like that. Clara had even got a tip to go to some port town down west of Roshmi. Not to mention, she had gotten to wear a gown like a princess, just like the beautiful fairy princess that had spoken so bravely to everyone.

It was all so wonderful and horrifying at the same time. She was still waiting for a director to yell 'cut" as people emerged from the bushes with camera equipment. Nonetheless, as confusing as all was, Clara had begun to accept after the long week that this was all her reality now and there was no point wasting even a drop of it on questioning. She was in a fantasy story just as she had day-dreamed as a child, except she hadn't imagined all the terror that came with it, but she was grateful just the same. Maybe there was a God and he had given her just as she had always wished. She'd be stupid to complain.

Two elves flanked Clara on each side as they moved through the thick crowd of lower-class demihumans, all wearing hoods just as she did. Getting out of Roshmi had become a big problem at this point. After the ball, the whole city had been locked down in only a few hours. The dark elves were all around the city and all within it, checking any elves by pulling on their ears and killing anyone who seemed suspicious without a second thought. The revolting had stopped in the late night and been mostly quieted down now. Martial law was in place, meaning there was a curfew and dark elves were everywhere, doing whatever they wanted until Aklenroth's army showed up to make things worse. Miako had told her it was imperative they get out of here before then.

Clara had suggested that perhaps there was an underground system. Back on Earth, underground sewers were a normal thing, so she wondered if there was even a tunnel system under the city. It made sense considering these people were half-animal, so she figured some of them were prefer being under the ground. According to Miako, she had been onto something very true so the five of them were now trying to find a way under. Apparently, these elves hadn't spent a lot of time here before.

She nudged Miako as he moved next to her and whispered as she pointed to a food vendor, "Breakfast time? Can't go sewer diving on an empty stomach."

He shook his head, replying, "We can't talk to anyone. Just gotta get out as quick as possible. Keep your head down."With a bit of depleting patience, he took her head in his hand and lowered it forcefully toward the ground. She had been whispering to them every so often to comment on things and giggle with Daphna,"Don't giggle. Don't whisper."

Clara bit her lip. The elf had usually been very gentle with her, so she knew he was serious with these words. She kept her mouth shut as she glanced along the road and in alleyways, trying to find a possible sewer entrance. However, all five of them suddenly stiffened as the following words reached their ears:

"Ears please."

Just ahead of them, a couple of elves were being examined by dark elves. Miako immediately took a sharp left turn into an alleyway, and she followed behind with the other elves. However, waiting right at the end of the alleyway was a dark elf, who grinned maliciously, quite sure of himself of what he was dealing with.

"Is there a problem, sir?"Miako asked calmly, trying to play it off, but to all of their surprise, the dark elf simply stabbed him through the chest with a sword in reply. Daphna took her hand and pulled her into a run back out of the alleyway. The other two elves didn't seem to follow to Clara's knowledge, but they had been in the grip of dark magic way before they could even move.

Clara's eyes watered but she felt numb in the heat of the movement as she ran. Once at the back at the entrance into the road they had initially been on, they were face to face with more dark elves. A female immediately grabbed Daphna as she weakly told Clara to run.

"No! Let her go!"Clara cried and watched with distress as she was killed swiftly, a knife slitting her throat. He let go of Daphna, her body dropping to the floor with a thud. She stared with horror as he moved toward her. "No wonder you were exiled."She snapped at him, and immediately turned back to run into the middle of the alleyway. She knew this next idea was probably dumb, so she decided not to think through it. Clara concentrated on lifting the earth beneath her feet swiftly, dirt and sand breaking through the cobblestone beneath them, particles flying into the eyes of her pursuers as they reached for her. She hopped on to the adjacent roof as elves came toward her from both sides. She ran across the roof, gaining the attention of all around. Balls of dark magic and arrows just nearly missed her as she did a front flip over some of them on to the roof of the next building. She then slid down the slanted roof into another alleyway as soon as she spotted a material that was gleaming in the light.

Fuck. Please.

She mentally begged as she waved her hand, moving dirt and items that had been covering the metal she had seen. She waved her hand again with a sigh of relief as she saw it was a round piece of metal that was obviously an entrance to below. Clara jumped inside and rolled on the hard ground beneath with a groan. The sound of incoming steps was still audible as she focused on covering the entrance again. She was sure glad she had changed into some pants today.

Clara scrambled to her feet, her ankles aching as she glanced up and down the dark, underground tunnel. There was a narrow canal of water a few feet away and it was definitely dank and gross enough to be a sewer. Tears brimmed in her eyes as everything set in. This was terrible. They were all dead. She hadn't known them long, but it still hurt to see the elves that had taken care of her and protected her lose their lives.

What was she supposed to do now? Could she do this alone?

Clara glanced up as the muffled sounds of yells and racing footsteps above her dimly reached her ears. She had no choice but to continue on. She hoped at least this tunnel could get her out of this town because if she wasn't in danger before, she definitely was now. The amount of sheer luck involved in her escape was incredible. They'd have wanted posters with her face on it up in no time.

With an exhale, she tried to mentally put all the horror behind her and move forward through the tunnel.

As the stranger got closer, Myra knew that it was Mathis. Knowing that he wasn't hostile, she immediately stood up straight, looking at him with a smile. Myra was happy that he was back, having someone she knew close by was a good thing, especially after losing Darius and Artemis...

Shaking her head as he asked if she was injured, she turned around and gave a small jump in the same place to show that she was unharmed. She did notice that the girl, the same one who greeted her with a smile a while back, didn't seem to like Mathis that much. Sure, even after introducing herself the girl still seemed to be a bit distant even towards Myra but the expression she made when she looked at Mathis was almost hostile. Listening to both Mathis and the girl speaking and then turning towards the blonde elf, looking for a decision to what they would do next, Myra did the same, looking at him. If she remembered correctly, the blonde elf said that they would go towards the coast, that also being what Myra thought as the best course of action if she wanted to find Darius and Artemis. As the group looked to the blonde elf, Myra pointed towards the direction where she could smell the sea, tilting her head almost as if making a question towards the blonde elf.

Upon hearing the blonde elf's confirmation that they would indeed head towards the coast, Myra looked at Mathis, excited. That meant they would have more chances of meeting Darius and Artemis so that was definitely a good thing! As the blonde elf began walking, Myra was quick to follow him, looking back from time to time just to be sure that Mathis and the rest were also following them. It was then that the dark elf offered the girl some food, after her stomach growled rather loudly. When he offered some food to the rest of the group too, Myra simply shook her head, patting her stomach as a way to say that she was good for now. Besides, it was rather easy for her to hunt something in the forest so as long as they were in a place where they could find wild animals, she would be fine regarding food.

TIME: Morning

LOCATION: Forest outside Roshmi

INTERACTIONS: @13org Myra Zelginn @Dezuel, Malachi @princess, Belladonna @Potter

O’Ner was happy that he was not being stabbed or attacked at first sight; although he was more glad that Myra came out of their arachnid problem unscathed. The others seemed to distrust him; not like he cared what their opinions were. “Yes let us not waste any more time chit-chatting”. He moved at a face pace with the others; keeping his eyes on Myra because he concerned about her being left behind. He knew she could keep up with them; however, he thought the others would leave behind to defend herself. Luckily for him, he could keep his pace with the others; despite being dead he could keep his pace with the others.

Although the only con he could think of with all of this running would be the next morning. His bones would be aching once he gets back to his domain. Asking Philipe to message his bones while O’Ner had some earl grey tea was foreseeable in the future. He wondered if he was going to be lead into the heart of the rebel base; if he played it cool and did not bring attention towards himself he will do what his comrades could not. Infiltrating the rebels could also help him with another issue on his mind.

Belladonna

Time: Morning
Location: Forest near Roshmi
Interaction: @princess Malachi | @13org Myra | @helo Valok | @Eviledd1984 O'ner

Belle watched the Dark Elf approach her. Tense, she readied herself in case he was a threat. Instead of being one, he offered her food. Skeptical, she watched him take a bite to show it wasn’t poison. She watched for any signs of distress, but found none. Sighing, she managed a sweet smile, then accepted the food. Hell, it looked disgusting; however, she had eaten worse on Earth. There had been times she’d gone days without eating. Here in this dangerous world, she needed her strength.

”Thank you.” She glanced at Malachi with concern as she began to nibble on it. Belle pulled it away from her face and managed a genuine smile. It reminded her of the scene from the Lion King. She fought to keep her expression neutral and not give away too much. Did Elves regularly eat these things? ”Slimey, yet satisfying. Thank you.”

She glanced at Myra and the wizard, but remained silent. For now, the company seemed pleasant and not threatening. Not wanting to get involved in too much chatter, she silently followed Malachi and kept pace with him. Whether or not they were allies was their decision to make. She knew well enough that true colors showed themselves on their own. The white creature seemed innocent enough. The Dark Elf and wizard though were in her peripheral vision. They’d gone from two carry on travelers to three now. What a lucky group they were. She knew there was strength in numbers too.

Belle looked at Malachi and tapped the bow this time and raised her eyebrows. Her expression briefly showed her thoughts; concern and anxiety briefly. She glanced back at the bow and tilted her head to one side, silently asking for it. She glanced sideways at their companions quickly then let her expression become neutral once more. Despite her prior thoughts, she knew she’d feel more comfortable with a bow. She remained silent and kept her neutral expression up and her eye on her comrades.
