Time: Afternoon
Location:Port 10
Interaction: @Alivefalling
Outfit:What she's wearing
Inventory:Bag for her belongings(It's along her belt behind her cape and not a backpack). Inside that bag: ama pouch, small water flask, plant seed pouch, small bag of berries, small flowery perfume, small knife, thin nightgown, and Risa has transferred some of her hygienic supplies into small, portable bottles: hair and teeth cleansers, hair softener and armpit fragrance.

Risa smiled at Kyran and squeezed his hand back. The waiter soon walked over and he took their orders for them, making it easier for her to keep her head down and lay low. Once the woman had left, the sound of a low shriek nearby her made her glance over at the couple she had seen earlier. A seagull was under the woman's chair, pecking at the food she had dropped. The bird scurried away in fear at the sudden shriek. "Ohh what a pretty bird. Ever meet one, Kyran?"She patted her knees and leaned over, giving a soft whistle to catch the bird's attention.

I was just hungry! Why YELL at me? The seagull looked over and began scampering toward her.

"I'll get you some food my lovely."Risa gently picked up the seagull on to her lap, getting looks of disgust from the couple. She petted its head gently with her finger. "It's okay... Shhh..." Risa pulled her bag over and began taking out some of her berries to feed one by one to the bird. "Did your parents teach you how to hunt?"

Yes. I lazy.

Time: Afternoon
Location: Surfside Cafe
Interaction: @princess Risa, [@Allivefalling] Kyran

"What the…" One of the restaurant customers seated outside squinted his eyes towards a winged creature crash landing from over town. The sun made it hard to make out, but he saw enough to make him raise off his seat in case he needed to run for his life. Before he could comment more, Valaeon's large body crashed into the sand about 30 meters away from the Surfside Cafe patio. The impact was great enough to cause sand to explode upward and out, nearly showering the diners and staff on the patio. Fortunately, the brash demihuman chose his landing location wisely. At least that's what he would boastfully say.

As the dust settled, Valaeon could be seen kneeling with his back towards the patio, his wings folded. A few guests that recognized him had differing reactions. Some sighed in annoyance and returned to their meals, while others nearly whipped out their memory glasses to capture the superhero landing pose.

"FINALLY!" His great voice boomed even at such a distance. Valaeon stood up and turned to face Kyran and Risa with a toothy grin. "Finally we meet!" He began marching towards the patio only wearing a black speedo of all things. His tail whipped back and forth, showcasing its spikes in an intimidating fashion. "I am Valaeon Shadowbane, one of the three leaders of the Sanguine Draconis Militia and I have come for you, fairy!" He pointed directly at Risa with a sharp-clawed finger. He then pointed at a waiter also watching the spectacle using his other hand so there was no confusion. "I have also come for your delicious potato cakes! And make it for three..." Valaeon wasn't playing around. He was hungry after doing so much work this morning.

O'Ner Faister

TIME: Afternoon, Day 2

LOCATION: Forest near Coast/Creek

[/quote]

INTERACTIONS: @13org Myra, Malachi @princess, Belladonna @Potter @Helo Valok

Watching for the time being the battle unfolding in front of him, trying to come up with a plan. The first thought that came into his head was going for the second owlbear’s leg. But when Malachi barked his orders to cut off the arms, a good idea although personally he would have gone for the legs. “Roger” The disguised general rushed forward towards the second owlbear, "Accidently" tripping on a rock and falling face first onto the ground. "Damn it all to hell." Taking his sweet time getting back up onto his feet. Letting the others suffer a little, especially Malachi. Getting bit of a chuckle of the male being thrown around like a ragdoll.

Taking aim to cut off the right arm of the monster. If he was successful then the beast’s arm would fall to the ground, blood would be sprayed onto O’Ner’s face. It was quite annoying because he could not see well. Knowing that the owl was not going to give up the fight with losing one arm, O’Ner turned his attention towards the second owlbear, trying to cut off this owl’s arm off. Swinging his scythe back and towards the beast, hoping to hit Malachi in the process.

Belladonna

Time: Afternoon, Day 2
Location: By a spring, closer to River Port
Interaction: @princess Malachi ⋆ @13org Myra ⋆ @helo Valok ⋆ @Eviledd1984 O'ner

Belle watched as Matthis’ staff turned into a scythe and raised an eyebrow. There was something off about him. She couldn’t place it. If she sensed it then surely Malachi would as well, judging by the glance he had. Whatever; that was a problem for another day. She began to eye her comrades. Her gaze flickered to Malachi who glared at her and she returned it. She wasn’t going to sit here and watch them battle; nobody fought for her but herself. Besides, she was used to being in danger and fighting. If he wanted to bitch her at her, she’d only return the favor.

Next, she watched Valok summoning dark energy and watched with fascination. He answered her on what the creature was and nodded. She eyed it and defensively began raising more shields around the group. Her mind rattled for ideas on how to use her magic. She wished she had her gun. Ugh! Her eyes then turned to Myra who surprisingly vanished from thin air. That was a cute trick, she thought. It didn’t take long to figure out why; another owlbear appeared. The second owlbear grabbed Valok into a bear hug, pecking at his head. Belladonna stared in horror. Malachi took her shoulder and told her to hold the first one off then moved to go rescue Valok.

Belladonna turned to the owlbear in front of her. Her eyes widened as it swiped at her and wasn’t fast enough to move out of the way. She scowled as she held a hand onto her side briefly. It came back red with blood and she glared. This dress was a gift. Anger boiled to the surface as she menacingly glared at the owlbear. She began forming spheres of water around it and focused on one around its head. Her intention was to begin drowning it. Her concentration hadn’t been higher; she wasn’t even sure she was blinking.

Multiple spheres began forming around the owl bear, encasing its hands, legs, and head. The water began to pressurize around it to begin making it difficult to see, hear, or breathe. Drowning was the worst and she knew the agony of it well. She felt herself draining from the effort but refused to give up. Adrenaline was flowing through her veins and God, did she love the feeling.

An idea formed in her mind, though it was reckless. Belle raised her hands as the sound of rushing weather filled the air. She began creating a small wave and ran toward the owlbear. When she was too close in range, she sent a blast of water flying toward the owlbear. Knowing she was close in range for attack, she concentrated on using her water magic to propel herself out of the way. Still, it had taken her a few seconds, despite concentration. Rushing water was the only noise she could hear; she could feel it vibrating around her. She felt every water droplet flowing through her. It was if she was one with the water. She allowed it to graze her side and clean away the blood. She’d have to patch that later and live to hear it from Malachi.

Belle stared around at herself in awe. Water flowed from her hands. Her gaze turned out the owlbear as she glared at it. ”It's a shame you’re cute.” Belle then intensified the pressure of water around it as she stumbled back onto the ground. She stood up with a slight wobble and hadn’t noticed her panting until now. She tried to begin catching her breath. She then raised her arms and formed water spheres around herself for protection.

Belle then turned to watch her results and smoothed her dress down. She couldn’t wait to change into proper fucking clothing and drink mead. Her attention turned to the group and her eyes widened as she kept an eye on the owlbear also. What she saw horrified her and she quickly shouted,”MALACHI! Watch out!!” She turned and shot a blast of water to force Malachi out of the way of the scythe. Belle then turned and created a shield of water around herself protectively with her eyes on both groups. The spheres of water returned, this time protectively shielding Malachi and Valok.

Lucia

Time: Afternoon
Location: Surfside Cafe
Interaction: @helo Leon & @AliveFalling Vaeril

Lucia noticed Leon drumming his fingers, but said nothing of it yet. However, he didn't verbally oppose Vaeril's offer. She nodded when he asked if they wanted to go to Gadgets and Conveniences, returning his smile. Once he left for the washroom, she turned to Leon.

"I know he's weird, but if he's someone to worry about we should find out as much information as possible. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Play it cool and we’ll discuss it later. I won’t let anything happen to you, I promise.”

When Vaeril returned, she smiled at him and nodded excitedly. ”Sure. I know the way. Follow me." She then led the group around the boardwalk and back to the road. Lucia hadn’t noticed the fairy and demihuman fox.

Artemis

Time: Afternoon
Location: River Kingdom
Interaction: @princess Helio @Tae Azriel @FunnyGuy Umber

Music

Artemis watched Helio with wide eyes. The vines he created were going to go through her. She braced herself for the pain and swallowed. This would hurt unlike anything else, especially coming from Helio. His words and pinch of her cheeks sent waves of fear coursing through her. She shut her eyes so she wouldn’t have to see it. Then, an unexpected noise made her reopen her eyes. Shackles rattling against the ground hadn’t been the sight she expected. It spoke and chills ran down her spine. The voice that spoke belonged to that of Aklenroth. She hadn't thought she’d be thankful for the bastard's intervention, yet here she was, thankful.

Artemis inhaled as she was thrown into her cage. She cursed at the pain, but knew it was better than what had been planned initially. The demon - Umber, telekinetically crunched her cage to make it uncomfortable and cramped. She sighed as she pulled her legs up to her chest. She smoothed her hands over her outfit and sighed. How long would this go on? What had he meant about Azriel and Darius? She couldn't let her mind race and decided to worry about it later. She felt the demon staring at her and stared back at it. Her eyes narrowed but then she turned away. Right now, it had the upper hand and she’d have to play it safe. Artemis sighed and kept her gaze to the floor of her cage. She took several deep breaths and began to think.

Cora listened to Cade, and nodded. He was right. Maybe part of her couldn’t admit she had lost control. She didn’t want to believe she had been careless. The illusion had been too real and raw, and drawn out her worst memory. She sucked in a deep breath and felt Cade’s unspoken words. She remained silent as he continued to speak.

”I’ll be okay for now. The idea of more food sounds delightful… I can’t say I’d eat another rat.” Cora grinned at Cade playfully as she turned to begin walking once more. ”And your friends seem great, Cade. It’ll be great to meet everyone there.” She quickened her pace and began walking with determination and excitement toward the port. Her mind buzzed as she began thinking of her friends and food.

Time: Afternoon
Location: Forests north of Roshmi City
Interactions: Malachi@princess, Belle@Potter, Myra@13org O’ner @Eviledd1984

A second owlbear grabbed him, squeezing with an incredible amount of strength. It was enough to break his concentration on the shadow sword, it shattered and the shadows scattered back to their natural places within the forest. He could barely breathe, he heard some of his ribs audibly crack from the force of the owlbear. He tried to call his magic, to force the owlbear’s shadow into something he could use to fight back with. As the shadow began to twist, controlled by limited movements his hand was allowed, the beak of the creature smacked against his head. His concentration broke again, his vision blurred from the force and his ears rang. He tried again, and again he felt the beak crash against his skull, drawing blood. He lost count of how many times the beak struck him, felt calmed by knowing he would at least go out fighting. The life was being squeezed out of him and from the owlbear’s grip there was not even the space for his lungs to expand. Death in combat, at least there was honor in that.

Then the owlbear dropped him, fresh air burned his lungs as he could breathe again. It continued to burn as he gasped and coughed in precious air. The ringing continued, something knocked him backwards and out of the path of the owlbear. Valok whipped blood away from his eyes, his head throbbed and pulsed as he tried to figure out what was happening now. The owlbear was missing an arm. Quick shallow breaths hurt less. Malachi was flung from the owlbear. His head hurt. There was a lot of blood. Only some of it was his. Malachi’s sword was covered in blood. It had been Malachi who shoved him from the owlbear. Why? The light elf had told him to attack, had he disappointed him? How had the owlbear lost its arm?

The owlbear grabbed Malachi and tossed him away. Had Malachi severed the arm? Had Malachi saved his life? It didn’t make sense why a commander would take such a risk to save a foot soldier. Valok couldn’t figure out what was going on, he tried to get back up but every movement was incredibly painful. That didn’t matter, he was supposed to attack, he struggled until he made it up to one knee. Belladonna was drowning the first owlbear, maybe she had a true killer instinct after all. He reached out with his hand, taking control of the first owlbear’s shadow. Twisting it until it formed a spike that shot upwards through its foot. Weaving it, controlling its movement with his shaky finger and willing the shadow spike to continue to try and strike at the owlbear. Malachi wanted the human protected, that was what he still understood. He was ordered to attack, he had to keep doing so. Valok focused the pain his body was in, into his magic. The other owlbear was a bloody mess, less of a threat, and Mathias was attacking that one.

Leon nodded, spending the day shopping, trying not to break anything, and to not look like he’d never seen half the crazy stuff they had in Avalia. He knew it was going to be more difficult than he thought, he doubted he was that convincing as an elf. He decided to think of this as training as well, he could both learn more about Vaeril and figure out how to play a more convincing elf. Shortly after Vaeril excused himself to use the washroom and Leon was going to tell Lucia about the weird voice in his head but she instructed him to play it cool. Probably best not to talk about hearing voices in a crowded cafe.

”Sure thing, cool as a cucumber, that’s me. I’m not worried, I trust ya.” It was mostly true, he did trust Lucia, a lot more than he trusted himself. He didn’t want to get them both in trouble, and he was a whirlwind of poor decision making. He had to keep reminding himself that this wasn’t a game, no matter how whimsical Avalia seemed, it was also dangerous. He could pretend to be a responsible adult, probably.

Leon watched as a large creature landed on the sandy beach, striking a very heroic pose. He stared at the guy awestruck for a second, he was some kind of dragon man. While Leon had met several demihumans, none of them were dragons, and that was probably the coolest animal human hybrid he could imagine. He shuffled his feet as he walked, disappointed they weren’t about to meet the dragon guy, but there was definitely no way he was going to be able to pretend he was a normal cool elf while meeting a dragon. He followed Lucia and Vaeril, heading towards a store called Gadgets and Conveniences, which sounded pretty fun.

”So, Vaeril, looking for anything particular today?” He asked.

Location: Forest outside Roshmi
Time: Afternoon
Interactions: O'ner (Mathis) @Eviledd1984, Malachi @princess, Belladonna @Potter, Valok @helo

Myra watched from a distance, still using her camouflage as Bella's attacks struck one of the Owlbears straight in the eye, making it call the other Owlbear for support, which immediately came running and grabbed Valok, in a tight hug and pecking his head. Knowing how strong those creatures were, Myra knew that someone needed to do something to help Valok, otherwise he would be as good as dead.
Fortunately, Malachi already had his sword unsheathed, which saved Myra from revealing her position and ruin her ambush. Malachi's attack was incredibly effective, making the owlbear let go of Valok and giving it a big wound in the process. Moving in after Malachi called for his name, Mathis went to cut off the Owlbear's already wounded arm. Unfortunately, he tripped just as he was about to attack, which was a bit strange for Myra, since he tripped so awkwardly. Still, his attack was a success, completely cutting the Owlbear's arm, though the trajectory of his scythe was going straight for Malachi due to him tripping and falling.

Myra watched that with an alarmed expression, she didn't want to reveal herself to the owlbears yet, but the chaos that was currently going on made her fear that the worse might happen. Even though Valok was already free and the first owlbear almost dealt with, especially after Valok recovered himself and somehow used shadows to attack it, there was still the danger Malachi was in, with Mathi's scythe going straight to him. Luckily, Belladonna, who was trying to deal with the other owlbear by herself, used her water in time to push Malachi away from Mathis' scythe, although that would leave her open for another attack from the remaining owlbear, once it recovered himself from Belle's attacks.

Knowing exactly what to do and presented with the perfect target, Myra moved towards the first owlbear. Dashing towards it in a stunningly agile manner, her camouflage made her look like a visual distortion in the light as she moved, almost like a glimmer. Getting fully visible as she pounced the creature's back, she used her tail to try and immobilize it's arms and her claws to keep a firm grasp on the creature, digging into his hide and flesh, leaving big, deep cuts on it's back. Putting her head over his shoulder and around it's neck, Myra bit it's throat with a surprising ferocity, especially coming from such an innocent and 'cute' creature as her. Should the creature's layer of fat prevent her from biting his trachea and other vital points such as the jugular, she would simply rip chunks of meat and fat with her mouth, in order to get deep enough to deal a finishing blow.

The terrifying display of a predator trying to take down it's prey would continue until either the Owlbear stopped moving or if, despite her positioning making it highly unlikely that it would be able to hug her like it did to Valok, it found a way to try and attack her, which she would jump off from it to a safe distance.

Location: Forest outside Roshmi | Time: Afternoon | Interactions: Bowyn@Helo, Clara@Princess, Kenia@Tae

The grim scenes unfold before her like the harsh winter winds back home — swift and bitter. Zephyrin's eyes were wide open in disbelief, her mouth left ajar as color drained from her already pale face. Boreas' selfless act of courage had left her aghast, and she stood there motionless with a horrified look on her face. The stench of blood, the wyvern's anguished cries, Bowyn's despair — it all made her stomach churn.

She was so surprised she could do nothing.

The warmth in the atmosphere seemed to fade as Bowyn manipulated the moisture in the air, turning it into jagged pieces of hard ice. She felt that familiar flow of magic in the air, it was much stronger than her own, and his control was so precise it sent tingles to her skin. Her fingers twitched at the familiar cool sensation, her magic reacting to his own.

Bowyn's blue eyes were a pool of pain and anger as he hurled the ice towards the wyvern, deeply injuring its wing, and sending it plummeting to the ground with a loud crash. A shrilling roar of agony followed. She bit her lip, sadness clouding her features as she took in the the sight of the mighty creature, reduced to such a sorry state. There was a sudden pang in her chest. It ached for the wyvern and the merlin, for neither deserved to experience the throes of death.

Zephyrin's hesitations did not last a moment longer though, as she wasn't going to stand and watch the wyvern get ever closer to the group with each vicious snap of its jaws. Arwen, with her ability to command the earth, had already done an impressive amount of damage to the wyvern's tail. Due to the injuries it had incurred thus far, its movements were slow and easy to predict; Zephyrin kept her eyes peeled. She had no time to dwell on the fact that Arwen was human, because the wyvern was already angling itself to deliver a powerful blow with its tail.

Questions would have to come later. And she had plenty.

Zephyrin straightened herself. A ragged breath escaped her lips as she willed her body to relax. She began to channel her magic into the tips of her fingers, channeling it to an extremity as she felt the mana in the atmosphere offer up resistance. Zephyrin began to draw in moisture from the air, a wave of mana flowing into the shore of her consciousness. She let it flow back out, conjuring an ice shield to block the incoming tail, condensing it so it doesn't break upon impact.

Where in Avalia she found that kind of control and endurance, Zephyrin did not have the slightest idea, but within moments it became painfully clear that was close to reaching her limit. A wave of energy seemed to escape her body, the ice barrier crumbled after serving its purpose, and beads of sweat formed at her temples as she forced herself to stay upright. The wyvern roared once more, not deterred by its injuries in the slightest. It wanted revenge. With some visible effort, it slowly advanced towards the group, a loud thud with each footstep. It kept a keen eye out for Arwen.

Time: Afternoon
Location: Convenience store, River Port
Interactions: Darius @FunnyGuy
Ambiance: River port

Nur walked next to Darius, his arm in hers, feeling happy. She loved meeting someone new, after a while things had a tendency to get boring. Even if someone could buy her everything she could ever want, if the company was dull, being around them got tiresome real quick. A dog walked up to the both of them, passing them a slip of disgustingly wet paper. Nur immediately let go of Darius's arm, when he reached out to take the paper from the canine.

Every the nosy type however she leaned over to get a better look at the message. It read, Meeting hall tomorrow at 2
Such a strange message and she noticed it confused Darius. Weird she thought.
Nur made a mental note of the message. She wasn't sure what was going on, or who had sent it, but the only way to figure out was to show up there and see for herself.

Following Darius's directions they strolled past the park at a leisurely pace. The leaves were already changing from bright evergreen to shades of orange, yellow and red. It was pretty, but she preferred the summertime. The convenience store was hard to miss. The display window showed the latest models of hoverboards and jumping shoes. The sign read, Gadgets and Conveniences Shop

She could use some essential beauty products herself. She had no clue where Darius was staying, most likely in one of the inns, but she doubted there would be everything she needed. The inside of the store was much more organized than the outside made it appear to be. Nur went straight for the personal care aisle, loading up on everything from hair softener, to body cleanser, and brushes. She turned to Darius and dropped all of her things in his arms.

"Here can you hold this for me?" She asked, but didn't really wait for his answer. Nur continued to sample some more products, smelling some of the available armpit fragrances. She was adding up the total amount of amas in her head, and she was not liking the numbers she came up with. But she wasn't willing to part with anything either. Life was just full of tough choices. She eyed the shopkeeper, a feline demi-human, and he was looking kind of annoyed, angry even. What was it with cat demi-humans up at River Port anyway? They were all perpetually grumpy.

Nur wasn't to keen on trying her chances with him. He looked like he might scratch her face if she irked him. And her face was extremely precious. She exited the personal care aisle and went back to Darius. A rare smile of pity was on her face. She really did string him along everywhere, and he even bought her perfume, without her asking for it. Nur grabbed a shopping basket and held it on her arm. She took each of her things from Darius's arms, one by one, tossing them into the woven basket.
"So...what are you going to buy?"

Time: Afternoon Day 2
Location: Gadgets and Convenience Shop, River Port
Interaction: @Dreamingflowers Nur

The stroll to the convenience store was both short and pleasant. He took in the sights of the town, scoping out their possible next destination after the gadgets and convenience shop. Nothing had stood out enough to make a stop on the way. The gadget and convenience shop was a guaranteed go-to spot for Darius after being made aware by Aklenroth of all of the items it might offer to the living.

When the pair entered the shop, he noticed the sour-faced demi-human feline at the counter. He also noticed Nur bee-line to a particular aisle... Three kitties in a row. What are the odds? The shop owner didn't greet the two, but Darius wasn't concerned. His attention was much more occupied with all the items available to him.

"I don't even know where to start…" He commented more so to himself.

Darius turned his head about to look all over the shop before Nur returned and placed a few items into his arms.

"Uh… sure." He replied as she walked off again. He shifted the items to steadily hold in one arm, and received a look of pity from Jordo. Despite literally having his hands full, Darius focused on the items he might need… and want. He had been getting a rough idea before Nur returned with a basket in hand to retrieve her items from Darius.

"I might buy the whole shop…" He joked. Darius recognized a lot of what was being sold, but a few things were beyond him. He knew of the hoverboards and jumping shoes, but he wasn't sure of things like the pricier eyewear and half of the more advanced tech on display. One item that really caught his eye was the portable solar box. He had heard of them, even saw a really old beat up one at Orc Landing. From his understanding, they were the computers of Avalia with some sort of magical internet access. The one displayed was a handheld device.

"900 amas." Darius commented almost silently to himself. To him, it was worth it. He moved to grab a small wooden shopping cart as he needed more than a woven basket. He set his instrument down into his cart and nodded towards the personal care aisle before heading in that direction. It was at that moment three guests entered the shop. Not seeing them for himself, Darius continued with his shopping. Need this… This… Oh and this… He pushed the cart through the aisle, grabbing items based on their name and what they resembled on Earth. Fortunately, it was quite simple so far.

Nur was intrigued when Darius mentioned buying the whole store. It was a joke, or so she thought. When she heard him mumble something about 900 amas, she whipped her head around, looking at him. Was she hearing this right? He put a solar box into his shopping cart, without batting an eye. She struck gold again, it was like she could sniff the amas from the air. Nur smiled, feeling very pleased with herself.

She continued to browse, looking at a shower tube. That would definitely come in handy when she was traveling, she had one carried around by Haldir's men at all times. Obviously she wasn't just going to bathe in some river full of slimy fish. Eventually she was going to travel back north, to reach the library of the Lich king. Maybe she was thinking too far ahead, she hadn't even found the rebellion yet. It would probably be a good idea to get her priorities sorted out.

Oh....

A beautiful hair brush caught her eye. She picked it from the shelf to look at it more closely. It was made out of silver, with floral engravings. At the heart of the metal flowers were small purple gemstones. Nur looked like she was in love. She needed to start of her inventory fresh, and what better way to do that than this brush? Nur twirled it around in her hand, enjoying the way it felt. She traced the engravings with her pale fingers.

That's going in the to keep pile.

As the sword pierced his right armpit, the second owlbear roared in pain. As soon as he could, he grabbed the blonde attacker and tossed him away. The owlbear felt overcome with weakness as blood poured from his armpit. Normally, O’Ner’s hesitation would have cost them, but the owlbear was slow to move regardless. Before the creature could react much more, its arm was suddenly sliced completely off. The owlbear stood there in a daze trying to walk forward continuing on its rampage it took a few steps toward Malachi and screeched around ten times before dropping to the ground dying where it lay. dead.

The second owlbear was encased in multiple areas of the body in water, holding her breath, before being slammed into with a blast of water to the side of the creature. She remained steady on all fours bracing herself on impact. The owlbear was suddenly pierced through the foot, letting out a deafened roar into the water, breathing some in before she moved away from the orbs of water allowing it to breathe once more. The owlbear still choking and trying to get her breath back was jumped on by Myra who began tearing into her neck until she hit her jugular and throat where it began spraying while the owlbear was choking on her own blood. Then the creature by the time she realized she had lost, she was already on the ground, unmoving.

Out from the forest, a small owlbear came running towards his mother. He stared around at the group for a moment before approaching the mother and nudging her head. The owlbear whimpered and slumped at the mother’s side, leaning his head on top of hers. He looked at the group with wide, saddened eyes. Tears swelled in the young cub’s big eyes, a silent “why is she not breathing?” The voice was unheard but the look was all that was needed.

Time: Afternoon
Location: Dragon Spine Mountains--->Azmor Galus--->River Port
Interaction: N/A
Outfit: Dress Cloak
Mood: ”Messed with the wrong chick and payback is a bitch…”

Two weeks ago…

Up in the Dragon Spine Mountains there was a brief flash of white light erupting from one of the various caves. Inside said liar there was a swirl of magic as from a crystal the form of a dark elven woman appeared. She let out a gasp as the magic dissipated and she dropped to the floor, landing amongst jewels and other treasures. She lay there for a long moment as she tried to register everything that just happened. She remembered when she fought with Aklenroth and he won out, trapping her within a crystal. After that she remembers just being in darkness which would have been enough to eventually drive her mad, but she came to realize she was almost in a dream state. In time she’d figured out how to control things around her within her mind and kept herself busy. She practiced her magic in order to keep her skill up in case she ever escaped and it seemed like today was that day. She almost didn't believe this was real at first, but she slowly registered pain as she was laying on something uncomfortable. Slowly she got up off of the jewel that was digging into her back and began to take in her surroundings. She gasped again, this time startled as she quickly backed away. There in front of her was a dragon skeleton. She waited briefly for it to move, assuming it was some undead monster of Aklenroth's he'd set therf to watch her, but after a long moment of waiting it didn't move. She let out the breath she'd been holding as she realized it merely was a long dead dragon.

After another moment she decided to move towards the mouth of the cave to see if she could figure out where she was. It was dark out and judging by the sky she’d guess it was still early in the night. Some more glancing around and she finally decided that she was in the Dragon Spine Mountains, a place not favorable to be if you were alone. ”Now how to get out of here...” She thought out loud as she considered her options. After a moment she turned back to look at the dragon skeleton and began to smile. ”That’ll do.” She said as she gathered some of the jewels and a cloak that was within the cave before conjuring her magic and knitting the dragon skeleton together. Before long she was riding the skeletal dragon down to the base of the mountains.

It took her until near sunrise to get somewhere she felt relatively safe before she let the magic drop on the skeleton, the bones collapsing to the ground. After not having used her magic in quite some time she was surprised when she felt a little winded. She’d have to get some more practice in with her magic and build up her strength with it once more. While she could have ridden the dragon skeleton all the way to Azmor Galus, she didn’t quite want to make herself known yet. She was unsure how long she’d been gone for and there was a lot she needed to figure out first.

By the next evening she’d managed to make her way to Azmor Galus and was standing outside a house she was unsure of whether or not the man she once knew still lived there. For all she knew he could be long dead, but she needed to start somewhere. She knocked on the door and waited patiently, the hood of her cloak drawn up over her. Finally a large man opened the door, looking at her with confusion. ”May I help you?” His tone wasn’t the kindest, but his eyes widened in shock as the woman standing at his door pulled her hood down. ”Siraye?!”

”Hi Odarii.”

Night of the Roshmi Ball…

While Risa Millinia planned for her speech to rouse the rebels to action, there was another speech being planned farther up north. Siraye, with the help of Odarii, had gathered a small group of dark elves who had pledged their loyalty to her. Odarii was a high ranking general within Aklenroth’s army and one of Siraye’s oldest friends. The two had grown up together and when she’d disappeared and Aklenroth had claimed her to be killed by the other races, Odarii had sworn to get revenge. Thus the dark elf swiftly rose through the ranks. He was shocked when Siraye showed up at his door two weeks ago and when she explained what had happened he was infuriated. How could he not have realized that Aklenroth was lying to him, to all of them? It was easy for him to convince those under his command to follow him and pledge allegiance to Siraye as they were incredibly loyal to him and in turn now to Siraye.

They worked on spreading the word that there was something important people needed to hear. Some they told it would be a message straight from Halastra herself. Now Siraye awaited the signal that she was to emerge before the crowd and speak. She was dressed in a fine dress that exposed her tattoos and her hair was done up in a regal manner. She took a breath and said a little prayer, asking for Halastra’s help and guidance on what to say. Finally she was beckoned out in front of the crowd. Some gasped at her appearance and there were many whispers, but Siraye held her head up high. She kept a calm appearance about her as she began to speak.

”Some of you may know me, some of you may have only heard my name and of my deeds, and some of you may know nothing about me, but I suppose an introduction is due no matter the circumstance.” She paused to take a short breath and keep herself calm as she continued. ”I am Princess Siraye Vastai, only daughter of Queen Atriss Vastai and the true heir to the throne. I, in all technicality, am your queen.” She paused once more as she watched people’s reactions, some staring at her in awe while others seemed ready to protest. Before anything could happen, though, she continued. ”However I don’t believe it to be right for me to march in here and just claim to be your queen, to take over. No, that’s not how a good queen should start her reign. Instead I wish to prove to you that I am worthy to be your queen, to gain your trust and your loyalty if you’ll allow me.” Those who’d seemed ready to burst out in protest seemed to calm down some, so far so good.

”So why am I here speaking to you now and revealing myself, you might wonder? I merely wish to tell you the truth and explain what happened to me all those years ago. Shed some light onto who Aklenroth truly is. He told you I was killed by the other races, made me a martyr to fuel your hate and become his army, but obviously that was a lie. I had seen the dangerous path we were heading down and Halastra wept for what she saw in our future so I confronted Aklenroth. He was not pleased and so he trapped me in a crystal, he stole me away from you in order to manipulate you to do his bidding. He doesn’t care for you or your well being. What has he truly given you? Food and clothing? While those things are essential, yes, how tiny of a payment is that for sending our children, our loved ones to war? Stealing our children away from us to train to be killers. If he cared then why hasn’t he given us land that is more hospitable? Why are we still banished to these islands? Is he not the ruler of all of Avalia? Could he truly not find a better place for us to live?” She let her words sink in for a long while, watching the faces of her people. To some it seemed they never really thought of this.

”There is a rebel movement happening in the south, from what I hear, and I plan on joining them. I plan on finding our people a place in this world, no longer banished and accepted by the other races. I wish for peace among everyone, to no longer see immense death everywhere. If you feel the need to inform Aklenroth of this then so be it. I knew that may be a possibility and I’ll accept that consequence, but all I ask of you is to think about the things I’ve spoken of today. To know that my whole goal in life is to help provide my people with the best life possible. If you can find it in your hearts then please consider joining me in this fight. Don’t let Aklenroth manipulate us anymore!” She left it at that, turning to leave as an uproar happened behind her of people cheering. She could only hope that her words would move them to action.

Present day…

Siraye and Odarii sat on the amora quietly discussing things while patiently waiting to get to River Port. The amora had made a brief stop in the River Fairy Kingdom, picking up a few more passengers before continuing on to the port. If Siraye had been paying closer attention then perhaps she would have noticed the pink haired fairy and her fox demi-human companion board, but she was too focused on thinking through her plans. ”And you’re positive it’s this port that Khino told us to go to?” She whispered to Odarii for the fifth time.

Khino was one of the dark elven guards that was at the ball that night and also under Odarii’s command. After everything had happened Khino had overheard one of the humans urging the crowd to follow her to the port. After a bit more digging he’d narrowed it down to River Port and got in contact with Odarii as soon as he could without drawing too much attention. ”Yes, your majesty. Khino is very good at what he does in gathering info. Even if it’s not right, we’ll find a way to connect with them. Just have faith.” He reassured her once more with a small sigh, but giving her a smile.

”Please Odarii, you can call me by my name. You’re my oldest friend, I’d almost prefer it.” She reminded him once more, but had a feeling it would be a constant thing between them. ”When we do get there how are we supposed to find them? I’m sure they aren’t going to be blatantly advertising.” This was something she’d been thinking about, but hadn’t voiced until now.

”We’ll figure it out, I promise. Let’s just focus on finding a place to stay first, okay?” Odarii laughed at his lady’s concern of absolutely everything, but he also understood it. Siraye sighed, but gave him a smile and a nod. She had to trust that things would work out.

Finally the amora landed in River Port and the pair made their way off it and into the small town. Odarii took a moment to ask someone directions to the inn and Siraye made sure the hood of her cape was up and that it would be hard to get a good look at her before glancing around at the buildings. Eventually they were walking down the street and heading towards the Inn by the Sea where they would find themselves a room. Many seemed to avoid the pair as Odarii was a rather tall and intimidating looking man. It also didn’t help that he carried a rather large sword on his back and definitely looked like he knew how to wield it.

As they got closer to the inn, a great dane ran up to them and gave Siraye a piece of paper. ”Oh well thank you.” She said as she worked past her moment of confusion before glancing at the paper. ‘Meeting Hall tomorrow at 2’ is what the paper said and Siraye glanced over at Odarii as she allowed him to read the vague message. ”Maybe they will be advertising then.” She said with a small shrug and laughed a little before continuing on to the inn.

Time: Afternoon, Day 2
Location: By a spring, closer to River Port
Interactions:@13org@Helo@Potter@Eviledd1984
Outfit:Outfit from the Ball
Inventory:Sword that's sheathed, Bow and quiver of arrows. Then: 2 hankerchiefs, liquid body cleanser, wayfinder, toothbrush, travel-size hair and teeth cleansers, small round of rope, bandaging, and disinfectant spray: all in a fanny pack that's facing behind him, hidden behind his cape.

Malachi watched Mathis trip over the rock with a glare. The man took too long getting to his feet in regards to a life or death situation. He had a few questions and thoughts about it but ended up with a simple concluding thought:he's a moron. Finally, the slowpoke got around to cutting the bear's arm off. He glanced over at the owlbear Belladonna had been fighting and lifted his eyebrows. She had done an impressive job. It was clear she knew what she was doing.

He was still pissed at her though.

As his attention had been stolen for the moment, he hadn't noticed the scythe moving in his direction. Belladonna's water hit him with force powerful enough to push him off to the side, causing his stomach to ache from the hit. "Ah! For fuck's sake! Watch it!" He yelled, under the impression at first that she had misaimed her blast. His angry expression melted into a perplexed one as he watched the scythe move back in its momentum in Mathis's grip. He supposed it could have been a mistake but the way Belladonna moved to create spheres around himself and Valok right after, and not Mathis, left Malachi with a bad feeling in his gut.

Malachi said nothing and gently put his hand on Valok's shoulder as he had been moving to attack. The one that had lost his arm was dead now and Myra had jumped on the owlbear now and was finishing it off. Valok's attack had helped in finishing the female off, "Valok. It's okay. You can take it easy..."

Myra was vicious in attacking and victorious. He let out a sigh of relief once it was all over. He glanced over at Belladonna, noticing her wound as well. He immediately began taking out his bandages and disinfectant spray. "Don't move. Don't waste time protesting either." As he had been bandaging each of them up, he whispered in their ears to stay close to him once they started walking again.

Belladonna was a bit reluctant and Valok hadn't seemed overly happy about it, but they allowed him to spray disinfectant on their wounds and apply bandages.

A sudden whimper made him glance back over at the corpses. A young owlbear was now laying his head on top of the mother. The look in his eyes was heartwrenching. He stared at the owlbear, his expression softening as a voice echoed in his mind:

"I can't wait. To see all their precious little smiles...I just wish I could protect them all. Give them all a safer world to live in. It's a dream of mine."

"Ah damn it."Malachi said with a sigh and gestured to Belladonna to grab her attention as he was aiding Valok, "Try to comfort it and feed it if you have a little something. Let's see if we can help it out."

It took him a few minutes to make sure Valok was patched up enough for the walk. He turned to Myra and Mathis, "If you keep going this direction,"He pointed north, "You'll reach the port town in two hours if you're quick. I am going to rush Valok up there with Belladonna. Walk along the beach if you're afraid of more attacks. It'll be easy and fast travel. Be safe and good luck."

Malachi put his arm around Valok to help keep him steady and quicken his pace, nodding to Belladonna to help out. The owlbear cub clumsily ran after Belladonna, confused and scared. He glanced backward at it and sighed. "Guess you're coming too, huh? ... I need to focus to do this, so I won't be talking much." Malachi concentrated deeply as he focused on bending the light around all of them, including the cub to make them appear invisible for a short while. This would keep them safe from enemies in their vulnerable state."Try not to crunch leaves and such. It'll make the whole invisibility thing a waste of time."

Vaeril turned to Leon once they got to the Gadgets and Conveniences shop. ”I don’t need anything. You guys can browse and then show me what you picked out at the end before we purchase it. “ He gave a nod to Lucia and let them go off to browse the shop. He noticed Darius with another girl in the store. Briefly, he wondered who she was but did not acknowledge them.

Inventory:Kyran’s Lance, Hunting knife, 2 strips of jerky

”It’s a seagull I meet them all the time when I am on the boat; we usually feed them the left over parts of the fish we don’t keep.”Kyran said and then watched her pick it up and feed it. Risa was such a cute and gentle girl, he wanted to protect her at all costs. “I think they know how to hunt dear but they have a knack for begging and stealing food.”He said with a laugh, ”He’s scamming you.”

The sound of a large being crashing into the sand came into the air. Sand went flying everywhere, nearly getting into the sandwich that was being set in front of him by the waitress. Kyran jumped up to his feet instinctually, and turned quickly at the sound, grabbing his lance and pointing it towards the source.

Once the sand had settled he saw a black dragonborn with their backs towards them. The dragonborn turned and began walking towards them, yelling and facing directly toward him and Risa as he did. He declared his name and pointed at Risa, claiming he had come for her.

Kyran swiftly transformed into his fox form and jumped off the patio pointing his lance once again towards Valaeon as he was declaring he had come for the potato cakes as well. Still, Kyran wanted to know his business. “You will not step closer, state your reason for seeking her and what you want with us!”He demanded, letting out a low growl.

Time: Afternoon
Location:Port 10
Interaction: @Alivefalling@FunnyGuy
Outfit:What she's wearing
Inventory:Bag for her belongings(It's along her belt behind her cape and not a backpack). Inside that bag: ama pouch, small water flask, plant seed pouch, small bag of berries, small flowery perfume, small knife, thin nightgown, and Risa has transferred some of her hygienic supplies into small, portable bottles: hair and teeth cleansers, hair softener and armpit fragrance.

BYE BYE BYE bye bye!

The seagull had immediately taken off, grabbing the piece of bread that had come with Risa's soup as he made his departure in reaction to the loud crash. Risa gripped the sides of her chair and glanced over toward the beach. There was a dragonborn in a speedo posing. Some people had sighed in reaction. At first, Risa thought he was just a dramatic local that did this often, but then he spoke up. He turned and faced directly toward them as he grinned and moved toward them. Risa blinked when he declared he had come for her. Huh? She had never seen him before and she wasn't sure how the dark elves or even Aklenroth would have found out where she was located so fast. Risa supposed normally she would have been frightened, but part of her felt emotionally drained still.

Then to make things stranger, he seemed to want to dine with them. Perhaps he wasn't a threat. Potato cake fans were those of good intentions in Risa's experience. But, there was only one way to find out. Before she could vocally question him, Kyran was in his fox form and pointing at Valaeon with his lance, demanding information from him.

Risa slowly stood up out of her seat and came to lean on the fence of the patio. She gave a smile and spoke softly, "Hello Valaeon. It's nice to meet you. Please excuse him, we've been through a deal of trouble lately. You're welcome to come eat as many potato cakes as you like with us, but it would be nice if you could give us some context as to why you've come to see me."

Time: Afternoon
Location: Surfside Cafe
Interaction: @princess Risa, [@Allivefalling] Kyran

A grit-tooth smile and widened eyes greeted the fox demi-human. A look of excitement flashed on the face of the dragonborn as Kyran shifted form and took hold of his lance. His words were but a challenge. A challenge he would attempt to overcome by his very nature. Risa's presence nearly faded into the background, but she spoke up just in time.

With his attention now on Risa, Valaeon's expression calmed. He was not here for a battle, though it would be a nice bonus to meeting Risa Millinia. He walked forward and stopped a foot from the patio's fence. Looking downward, he stared silently into her eyes for a moment before wincing and then sighing.

"That might be a problem with so many listening ears. Besides, I'm a terrible whisperer! Hahaha!" His booming laugh could be heard by all around. "I will say this. I know who you are and what you are trying to do. You can count me as a supporter, perhaps even a friend if you are truly serious about me having all the potato cakes I can eat!" Valaeon glanced at Kyran, giving him a warm smile. "Oh and I like your bodyguard. Very brave." Valaeon gave him a nod and made his way around into the patio area. He groaned as he maneuvered around the seats. His tail knocked a chair or two over, but he continued on. If he went back to fix his mistake, he would only make matters worse.

"So, fairy, let us talk about how little a chance you have in being successful." He said in a non-joking tone before he took a seat on the patio floor. Valaeon and chairs were in a lifelong feud.
