Hello everyone, with Aces permission I am here to let you know that she is currently in the hospital with Covid. She is not sure when she'll be out but she was found passed out from lack of oxygen and high fever. As her friend I'm posting this on her behalf, and she has stated she understands that it is not fair to ask everyone to wait for her until she recovers. She was apologizing profusely and says that if everyone wishes to wait then the role play will eventually continue but asking that of everyone with no seg return date is unfair. She asks for your forgiveness and says it is up to everyone what they wish to do but she hopes everyone will continue to stay safe and she also wishes the best for anyone who does not wish to continue when she returns.

@Queen of Aces Oh my god, tell her that we'll all be rooting for her health. I will wait as long as I have to and be wishing for her health to recover, after these last few days she's become one of my favorite people here on the Guild.

DC, since you're co-GM here's my advice to you: It's already been stated OOC that Gello is pretty lazy, so her not showing up to tell the residents "hey here's the ground rules" in any kind of timely manner is no big deal. Thankfully, we have a map showing us all the facilities of the dorms already, and people are starting to explore the Home. We've also seen a slowdown in posts compared to the first night the RP went up, which is not unusual.

Players still have plenty to do--they can interact with one another, which can fill up multiple posts per player by itself. They can tour each floor and see what's in stock in the kitchen--Lilith mentioning the endless booze earlier sounds like an excellent party invitation. I had a little idea myself for Empusa demon-forging a megaphone at some point and making an announcement herself for the denizens of the girls' dorms, so that's a "mini-event" that could fill some time as well. It will probably take quite a while for us to actually "run out" of things to do, so don't stress over carrying the RP while Aces is out.

@Queen of Aces I am hoping you have a healthy recovery, and to hear from you again.

Well I'm a little hesitant as it seems she didn't tell her friend to address me and I'd like to push this forward yet I don't know if that is what she wants because I was just helping her with the basic stuff.

I reread Aces post, I will consider my next move but I'll not let ya'll just sit around and do nothing. I won't be putting things on a complete lock down unless Ace specifically tells me to when she returns.

EDIT: But I will give this some thought, and consider what to do moving forward tomorrow.

Don't have to worry too much, we have a bunch of characters around each other so it'll be easy to interact without having to alter anything major. I'm fine with either, plus I'm sure everyone is gonna have time to catch up now!

Thank you for telling us, I hope the best for her and that she recovers soon, horrified she was found in such a state but glad she was quickly put under care. She has my best regards and may there be no more sudden surprises like that this year.

I hope Queen of Aces make a swift recovery from the damnable virus, we should do our best to keep the RP well lit til she returns. We've got rooms to explore, fellow inhabitants of the hells to befiend or bewitch! Let's make sure she'll get to have an interesting read when she gets well allright? Co-GM willing ofcourse. *Loads mutiny flintlock revolver*

Thank you very much for telling us. Condolences to her and you, I hope she makes a swift recovery.

Alright, today I'll push things forward but only just slightly forward as @Shu and a few others had interactions lined up with Queen. However I'd like to keep thing from getting stale and have quite a few characters I want to interact with. This is by far my favorite RP and I'm unwilling to let things slow to a stand still.

Be ready for my posts, and remember to have fun while also staying safe like Queen asks.
