Ah, okay. I'm not sure how strong a Silver Leitmotif can be.

I didn't really want to encourage people posting character WIPs before the main thread goes up, mostly because I have a few pre-created characters already and didn't want any overlap. However, you've really impressed me with how close you've been able to get your character sheet without even seeing the standard character sheet or any of the example characters.

So two things about "A Hunter’s Grace." Firstly, there's no stealth mechanics in the RP yet. That's not a problem with your skill, but it does mean that there are limited ways to decide if your character is hidden or not. In the future I may do something with SENTINAL to make it help spot people, but that's not presently a thing in the RP. So your stealth mechanic really needs to be binary. That is to say it either works or it doesn't in a situation.

She has a weaker presence than normal. For comparison, her skill in stealth is similar to a jungle predator who hunts by ambushing its prey from the shadows. People won’t notice her standing silently in a corner of the room or when she decides to stalk them. And of course, this aids in her escape as well, as she can more easily lose any pursuers going after her.

It's kind of hard to tell exactly how Hunter’s Grace hides her. Does it make her invisible when she's standing still? Do people just not notice her if she's stalking them? When can they notice her?

The second thing is that silver specials are described as being "weak and situational," which is a bit difficult to determine without other characters to look at. I do feel that stealth is a situational power, so no problems there. As for how weak it is, that will be dependent on what it takes to proc and what she can do once it has proc'd. Shadow genre users need to expend mana to turn invisible at will, and only in a small area. Maybe she has to stand still in an area for several seconds and then blends into her surroundings? Alternatively, she could just be good at moving quietly and just not make sounds.

Like Erode says, we're not looking for examples, just a concise description of how the special works. Once you get up to Gold or Diamond specials you'll need a bit more detail to properly display how they work, but we're a bit far off from that.

That's a good number to go into this with.

@ERode @FamishedPants @Vocab @Majoras End @Crusader Lord @PrideOfLaplace @MagratheanWhale @SilverPaw @Hero @mantou

Here's the OOC Go to town, my dudes!

And I think that's a wise move, @Hammerman. I look forward to seeing the completed character in the main thread!
