@WindsOfFate waiting to hear from blade first but I assume it should be ok
Name: Raphael, prefers "Raph"
Alias: Archangel
Species: Enhanced human / "Artificial Angel"
Age: 26ish?
Birthday: Technically he was never born
Gender: Male
Sexuality: The first person to show him love and affection
Position: Vigilante
Affiliation: The High Order (formerly)
Current Residence: He's been living on the streets of New York for the last four years, rummaging in restaurant dumpsters for his next meal.
Personality: Raph is...difficult. One can hardly blame him; he's the 26 year champion of the Shittiest Life Ever award. He doesn't seem to know how to interact with other people very well. He thinks they'll either use him, turn on him, or even worse, abandon him. He desperately wants to be able to trust someone, but at the same time, he's built a solid wall around himself because he can't get over his past. People are scary, and exposing himself is scary, and emotional availability is scary, and sometimes it's just easier to be a lonely street urchin.
Appearance: As far as street urchins go, Raph is 🤌
He's genetically predisposed to be a supermodel, he can't help it. He's got the arms, the abs, and yes, the ass. The big ol' bird wings are there too. Raphael has white, feathered wings that jut out of his back. Fully expanded, they're about 12 feet wide, while Raph himself is 6 foot even. They can fold up tightly against his back to fit under shirts and in a bulky jacket, he can pull off normal for a little while. But it certainly isn't comfortable.
His hair is dark brown and has a feathery texture. His eyes are hazel.
As a form of punishment when he got too rebellious, the High Order would brand him with symbols related to their organization. Fortunately, this only happened twice. He has an eye with rays shining off of it on his torso, over his left shoulder. He also has "si audieritis vos comedetis bona terrae" painfully and meticulously branded down his left thigh. This one took some time and there's definitely some sloppiness from his struggling.
Powers:
Raph can fly, of course. Those wings aren't just for looks. He's also way stronger than an average human, faster, more agile, and has advanced healing and heightened senses. He was created to be a synthetic devine being, so he's gotta have something to show for it.
As far as weaknesses go, Raph is very sensitive to smoke and fumes. He can easily choke and pass out, or even die, if he's exposed to too much. Basically walking through a Lush or Bath and Body Works is hell.
Raph requires almost three times the nutritional intake of an average human to sustain flight, advanced healing, and mass. He eats a lot. This can work against him because one too many skipped meals could easily make him past tense.
Stats based on Marvel's power grid
+Flight up to 150 MPH, sprinting. 60 MPH speed sustainable for 5 straight hours with no rest. (But not recommended)
+Enhanced vision
+Internal Compass. He can tell directions just by existing and rarely ever gets lost in a place he's been to at least once.
+Advanced healing. Can heal from most broken bones in a few days, in the right conditions.
+Level 2 Normal Intelligence
+Level 4 Superhuman Strength
+Slightly above normal running speed
+Level 3 Enhanced Durability
+Level 4 Experienced Fighter
-Sensitivity to smoke/fumes, leading to weakness, suffocation, potentially death
-Extremely high nutritional needs. Lack of food could lead to weakness and loss of consciousness within hours, depending on exertion levels, and starvation in mere days.
Weapons: Dem guns 💪
Likes: Sleeping, hot food, self soothing via violence (don't worry, it's only directed at the bad guys)
Dislikes: Swimming, water in general,
feeling vulnerable, talking about his ✨ feelings ✨
Special skills: Angst World Champ 5 years in a row
Backstory: Oh boy here we go.
Raph was more or less a cabbage patch baby as far as he knows. He's never known parents or family. He was "created" in a facility run by scientists with...interesting ideas. They were a cult is what I'm saying.
This strange mixture of religion and science resulted in a combination of eugenics and DNA bullshit in an attempt to create a devine being. Raphael was the result. While he's certainly attractive, he's not exactly holy.
This science cult, The High Order, as they called themselves, raised Raph as both something to be worshipped and something to be controlled. As you can imagine, this led to some serious inner turmoil.
He was paraded by the high clergy as a god, then beaten when he put a toe out of line. He was told he was holy and sacred, then branded with the symbols and images of the order. He was chained, praised, starved, lavished, and finally, he was fed up.
Raphael made his daring escape four years ago. He left a warpath in his wake. He thought he was finally free, until he learned that the High Order was no small organization; they had cells all across New York city. And they planned to make more angels.
He's been very busy wrecking their shit ever since. But as it turns out, making artificial angels was just a lil side hobby. The High Order also deals in human trafficking, bioweapons, drug trade, political corruption, and oh boy does he have his work cut out for him.
Theme: Church - Fall Out Boy
Aielah Kanaloa
"Long have I dreamt of your end. Come, drink with me in the pool of sorrow"
Title or Hero/Villain/Code name: HEKA
Species: Half-Breed (it’s a mystery)
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Age: 28
Birthday: November 15
Personality: At first encounter, one would assume that Aielah is cold and distant, but with his eyes, he can see the potential of others. Even though he is blunt, straight to the point, and can cut with his words, he means well and does it for the growth of others. Aielah is welcoming to others and tries to find beauty in everything. Though strict in his training, he can be relaxed in certain situations.
Appearance: Aielah's presence seems to banish darkness to the corner of any room he enters. His hair, though long, is never dirty for some mysterious reason. His skin is blemish-free and carries no sign of age. His eyes are a beautiful icy white that bores into the soul of anyone who dares to look him in the eye. Aielah stands a decent 5'8" and seems to float when he walks. He hides beneath his garments a toned frame forged from strict training. His grace and eloquence are unmatched.
Affiliation: Aielah defends the world from mystical threats, and if asked will lend his magic to those with a similar alignment.
Powers: Aielah possesses the ability to use mystical energy blasts, manipulate the forces of magic for a vast number of effects, and is able to tap into extra-dimensional energy by invoking entities or objects of power, existing in dimensions tangential to those of the Earth, through the recitation of spells. Dr. Strange taught Aielah astral projection, levitation, and interdimensional teleportation, though Aielah must be careful not to overexert his body, for physical damage can occur, and some spells/incantations require specific conditions to be met.
Weapon(s):
- Book of the Vishanti > The Book of the Vishanti contains the most powerful white/order magic spells known, many of them being counterspells to other magic disciplines.
- Vestments of Oceanera > Inside the tunic and pants reside an ancient water elemental after bonding with a wizard centuries ago. It is said that the vestments will only allow someone who is a free spirit to wear and be protected by the garments. The vestments grant the wearer the ability to resist magic of all designs, walk on water, deflect bullets, resist strikes from weapons, and be healed by water sources. If the wearer ever becomes tainted with dark thoughts it's like pollution, dulling and shutting down the effects of the garments until Aielah meditates in pure water to remove the pollutant.
- Rings of Osiris > Osiris forged these earrings as a means of entertainment to watch the will of man crumble with each wearer of the earrings. The Rings of Osiris have passed many hands before being bestowed to Aielah as a gift from Dr. Strange. These Sapphire earrings grant the wearer telepathy in a limited range of 75 feet.
- Blade of Oshtur > Forged by the Elder God, the sentient weapon has many secrets not yet unlocked by the current wielder. It is said the weapon chooses who can wield it by their inner core. Those tainted by darkness can never wield the Blade of Oshtur.
Weaknesses: Aielah has a tendency to try to see the good in everything. This doesn't help when there is no good. Aielah must be careful what spells/incantations he uses. Too much energy exerted can be taxing to the physical body and cause harm such as lacerations, bruising, and even death.
Likes: Gardening. Reading. Meditation.
Dislikes: Filth. Negative Outlooks. Sacrifices.
Current Residence: Sanctum Sanctorum
Backstory: Abandoned as a child, it was Dr. Strange who took Aielah in and trained him. Though no one knew why Dr. Strange had taken Aielah in and trained him strictly, some say it was because Dr. Strange wanted Aielah to take his spot when the time came. Aielah was trained until his body was broken, and even then he continued to train, forcing his body to adapt in order to please his master and ensure the legacy continued, but Aielah felt sorrow deep in his heart. He longed for Dr. Strange's approval, but the man always seemed cold, distant, yet caring to an extent. Aielah was trained by the best in the Sanctum, but eventually, his skills surpassed those of his teachers. Aielah remained humble and hid his skill.
One day, Dr. Strange attended one of his trials and was intrigued by Aielah's display. For the first time since his arrival, Aielah received a sign of approval from his master, and it meant the world to him. He would forever cherish it, but nothing would prepare him for the news he would get during the war.
Aielah has mourned his mentor's death since the day Dr. Strange's body was returned to them. The news hit extremely hard, but Aielah had his duties to fulfill. Until there could be a newly assigned Sorcerer Supreme, Aielah would be tasked with protecting the Sanctum and ensuring everyone understood their positions. He would act as caretaker and interim protector of the Sanctum. Who would pick up the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme and carry it the way his mentor did? He didn't know. In honor of the great work Dr. Strange did, the Eye of Agomotto, the Orb of Agomotto, and his ring were buried with his master. The Cloak of Levitation had received too much damage, and the magic had drained from it. Thus, it was not buried but rather placed in a relic box. Aielah was given the task of creating a protective barrier around the burial chambers of his master, and with every tear he shed, the wards of the chambers grew stronger.
That was one year ago, and it still feels like yesterday to Aielah, but he has performed his job well in the eyes of his peers and the Vishanti. Everything he does, he does in memory of his master, to keep the legacy alive.
Special Skills: Aielah is trained in many martial arts, but those he favors are Ninjutsu, Tai Chi, and Judo much like his master. Aielah has knowledge of different weapons but prefers pole-arm weaponry. He is a magnificent archer. Aielah has unlocked the ability to become weightless and fly by sheer force of his will.

Personality
While Akio does his best to act like his charismatic and cocky idol that was Iron Man, he...Can't pull it off well. At his core, he is a huge dork, all too ready to geek out and go overboard on any topic that comes up that even slightly interests him, and he especially enjoys ranting about his work to any and all willing to listen. However, underneath that nerdiness and more than a slight need to be recognized for something, he has the real workings of a Hero, and genuinely wants to be able to do right by his fellow man.
Affiliation
Heroic/Selfless
The way I see things, it should never be about what you can do for yourself; it's what you can do for others.
Weapon(s)
The Ultraman Suit MK-I
Designed from the scraps of a salvaged Ultron drone (not that Kubo's aware that's what he salvaged), the MK-I might not be a Tony Stark patented nanosuit, but it can certainly get the job done. While far from unbreakable, it's able to handle most forms of non-Superhuman assault fairly well, beyond higher level firearms and explosives, and enhances Akio's strength considerably, more than enough to throttle any street-level thug, and put up a serious fight against more dangerous opponents. However, it's true power comes from...
The Kubo Generator
The Kubo Generator is a power source of Akio's own design, based off the remains of the power source the salvaged drone has, and some facets of Stark's famous Arc Reactor. While it's power generation is quite inefficient and needs tuning, it gets the job done, able to run the suit for about a full day. Assuming he doesn't pull anything special, which he almost always does. Namely, the propulsor beams able to be fired from the palms of the suit, which possess enough concussive force to knock out a normal human in one good blast, and can be charged for a bit of extra 'oomph', potentially busting straight through concrete. The suit also possesses boosters to allow flight, but...They've been finnicky, so unless it's an emergency, they're considered inactive for the MK-I. However, Kubo has one special weapon up his sleeve still....
Purge System
Just as Iron Man had his Unibeam, Kubo has what he's dubbed the 'Purge System'. By channeling all but 5% of the suit's remaining power to its mouthpiece, Ultraman unleashes a devastating beam of energy that can decimate just about anything it hits. Of course, this is certainly a last resort, but a very potent one.
R.E.G.I.S.
Named after an alien robot from an old TV show, R.E.G.I.S. is the J.A.R.V.I.S. to Ultraman's Iron Man. Patched up from some remaining data in the drone he salvaged, R.E.G.I.S. assists Kubo in tracking the suit's power usage, current power, suit integrity, and offers direction in combat scenarios (as Akio is very unpracticed in the art of combat). R.E.G.I.S. can also be used to hack into anywhere Kubo needs to get into, and perform lightning-fast internet searches, which can be surprisingly useful.
Powers
(Based on the Marvel Power Grid)
+Level 5 Intelligence (Genius, could be considered a Level 6 Intelligence (Super-Genius) with aid of R.E.G.I.S.)
+Level 1 Strength (Level 4 with the Ultraman suit, able to lift roughly 2 tonnes)
+Level 2 Speed (in the Ultraman suit, he can reach up to 60 MPH running. Once he works out the boosters, he can go much faster)
+Level 1 Durability (Level 3 in Ultraman suit. Can remain unharmed or lightly damaged from most ordinary weaponry)
+Level 1 Fighting Skill (Level 4 with combat analysis from R.E.G.I.S.)
Weaknesses
-Without the Ultraman suit, Akio is a frail and unskilled combatant. And even with the Ultraman suit, his combat experience is painfully prevalent.
-The Ultraman suit can resist most forms of assault, but Kubo has yet to make it resistant to electric assaults, making it prone to being overloaded or fried with a large enough voltage, or at the least dazing the suit's systems.
-EMPs can render the suit temporarily inert.
-The energy consumption of the suit is currently very inefficient, so drawn out fights are poor fits for Ultraman.

Backstory
Akio's life story has been one of, mainly, disappointment. His mother was a self-absorbed woman who only got with his dad on a fling, and his father, while a genius man himself, was also quite the bitter alcoholic. It didn't take long after he was born for the divorce to get filed, and for his pops to win custody. That was a bad start, but it got worse.
Growing up with his father, Akio was taught that to win in this world, one needs to be cunning and ruthless in equal measures; fitting advice from a man who fought his way tooth and nail up the ladder of a huge Japanese tech company. As such, he was very hard on the boy, forcing him to be better, always saying that he wasn't living up to his potential. When those kind of talks were the closest thing he got to familial connections, it's no surprise Akio got so desperate for approval and attention from others.
In school, he found himself quickly outpacing many other students, and per his father's requests, he moved up grades several times. Hell, by the time he was getting into High School, he was barely Middle School age. While teachers praised him for his intellect and excellent school work, he was disconnected from the students, unable to find any friends in his years of school. College didn't change that; if anything, it somehow got worse there. By the time he graduated from Kyoto University, he was probably one of the most antisocial and awkward human beings on the planet, with no real connection to other people and certainly zero people skills to speak of.
Due to this, in spite of his genius-level intellect and college degrees, he struggled to find work, usually taking jobs in small shops as a cashier or janitor, or when those things turned belly-up, he occasionally resorted to hacking and selling information on the web (though he tried to make sure anything he dug up wasn't too important). However, one day things took an unexpected turn when he just....Ceased to exist.
Yes, Akio was among the billions of people who were snapped away in an instant due to the Mad Titan's actions. And once he returned, he practically found himself in a whole new world. For someone like him, it was absolutely terrifying. However, snapped individuals were compensated by the government, and once his pay came in, he decided he needed to get away from everything for a while.
Using some of his snap Yen, Akio paid for a trip to a quiet area in Russia, if only to spend some time to catch his breath and realign himself in the world. However, he had no idea what he'd find on this trip. One day, when spending a chilly morning on a walk through the nearby forestry, he came across something he couldn't explain; the wreck of what looked to be some kind of robot, or drone, but in almost complete disrepair. Still...Some of the parts looked serviceable, and the design of the machine evoked something in Kubo. It was then an idea struck him.
After the fight that saw all those who were erased returned, the world was down many of its greatest defenders, not least of all being the one and only Iron Man, Tony Stark. The world needed heroes now more than ever...And with this heap of potentially incredible parts...With that, he began hauling as much of the totaled drone as he could back home, and started his work on Project Ultraman.
After several months of backbreaking labor, intensive research, and, regrettably, a lot of information sold on the net for quick bucks, he finally finished it; the MK-I Ultraman suit. With it in tow, he did the only thing that came to his mind. If he was going to debut as one of the next big heroes of the world, he'd need a suitable stage, and New York was practically a breeding ground for ne'er-do-wells, but also a place where great heroes could be found. And he'd be the next.
Selling off all his belongings in Russia, he got himself a ticket to New York, bought himself a shabby house (honestly closer to a hut almost) in Astoria, and prepared for his big move...

Name: Bolin Lài
Alias: Foo Dog
Species: A human and his guardian spirit roomie
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Age: 27
Birthday: June 21st
Affiliation: The Hand (formerly)
Personality: Bolin and Shíshī are about as opposite as they come. Bolin is sarcastic, tongue in cheek, and brash. Shíshī is a millenia old lion spirit trapped inside this idiot. They bicker near constantly, Bolin's half out loud, leading to the suspicion that he may be missing a few screws. Shíshī feels the need to voice his disapproval of Bolin's lifestyle choices and Bolin really thinks he oughta' stop being a backseat driver.
Appearance: Oh he's cute and all, but there's not a single thought behind those eyes.
Bolin is 5'10", Chinese descent, dark hair, brown eyes, and he works out. He's definitely thrown on extra weights while pressing at the gym when a cute girl walks by. Yeah, he's that guy. Definitely a himbo.
Shíshī, on the other hand, is a guardian lion spirit that a lot of dumb Westerners call a "Foo Dog". Lol it's funny because that's what Bolin's chosen to call himself. Shíshī takes the form of a crimson lion beast approximately the size of a minivan. Yeah, I bet you all weren't expecting a damn furry. Surprise! His main body color is a deep red, his mane golden, and his legs fading into black near the paws.
Powers: Bolin himself is just a boring ol' Olympic level athlete. Human stuff, yawn, you know? But when he's getting his shit wrecked in a fight, Bolin can whip out his magic spirit powers. With Shíshī's approval, he can call on the spirit for super strength, speed, agility, and durability. But that's the catch: Shíshī has to approve of it first. And no, using spirit powers to stop the bus from driving away ain't gonna get the stamp of approval. You should of woke up earlier, dumbass.
When Shíshī is at the reigns, the tides turn. You may as well just bend over. His strength is proportional to his size, which, as mentioned before, could fit six passengers, a bike, and the family dog. His top running speed is 60 MPH, bite strength of about 5000 PSI, which is plenty to ruin your day. The only draw back to letting Shíshī out is that it swaps his and Bolin's spots and gives him full control. He could, in theory, just never give Bolin his body back. Luckily he ain't that type.
Weapon(s): Twin Kamas
Weaknesses: Burning sage in his vicinity will keep him trapped in one form. It doesn't matter which one; he'll won't be able to transformed until the sage is taken away. (I would personally pick the form that isn't a two ton lion, but that's just me)
An experienced magic user could separate the two's astral forms and render them both useless.
Bolin's brash and idiotic 'plans' of blowing into battle, guns blazing, has gotten him into trouble more than once. Strategy is not his forte. Neither is patience. Or fashion.
Bullets.
Likes: Bolin likes pineapple on pizza and he didn't ask for your opinion. He enjoys going for jogs on a cool day, sleeping in, and cheat days.
Dislikes: Going to work, but since someone doesn't pay rent, he's got to.
Skills: Bolin has been trained in several different fighting styles. He's multilingual, speaking English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish. He can be smart sometimes, as a treat.
Current Residence: The shittiest apartment Bed-Sty has to offer
Backstory:
To be fair, Bolin never asked for this shit.
When he was a small child, his parents immigrated from China. They lived in poverty and worked constantly to make ends meet. But his father fell into dept to the wrong people, namely The Hand, and bing bang boom, they stole the first born as retribution.
The Hand's master plan was to raise Bolin to be a great fighter, then when he was old enough, allow a demon to possess him, making him their ultimate weapon. However, when the time came for this, they didn't realize that Shishi was already working against them on the other side. He'd fought off the demon and came through instead, possessing the boy and using him to destroy all the Hand assholes in sight. Then they escaped into the night.
Bolin had been taught all kinds of questionable things by The Hand, and since Shishi was now bonded to this kid for life, he had plenty of time to set him straight. Mostly. Bolin's still a hard head.
With Shishi's help, Bolin has become one of the Hand's greatest enemies. He spends weekends and most week nights hunting them down and ending them across New York. During the day, he takes up odd jobs like painting, moving, furniture assembly, ect. Shishi doesn't think this lifestyle is becoming, but Bolin reminds him that unless he wants them to live in a cardboard box, he can keep his opinions to himself.10 points if you know where I stole this from lol
Lev Vasiliev
Nickname: He sometimes goes by Vas in some smaller circles.
Title/Code name: Fuse
Species: Human (Mutant)
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Pansexual
Age: 24
Birthday: January 18th
Personality: Lev is a generally loud individual. He tends to draw attention in any environment. Very much a people person, and extremely self-confident to boot. He tends to lack a filter when talking to people, a little too honest for his own good. It generally results in people not liking him or being a little put off by his presents. He also has no sense of personal space, which has gotten him hit on more than one occasion.
Height: 6ft 4in, or 193CM
Body type: Lean but muscular.
Affiliation: No real affiliation, whatever is paying and serves him best at the time.
Powers: Lev has the ability to convert the potential energy stored in an inanimate object into pure light kinetic energy, thus "charging" that item with highly explosive results. He prefers to charge smaller objects as the time required to charge them is greatly reduced and they are much easier for him to throw. The larger an item is the more time it takes to charge. Most charging takes place through direct skin contact. The power of his explosions is dependent on the mass of the object he is charging: for example, a charged pebble explodes with the force of a grenade. He can also use his abilities to accelerate an object's kinetic energy instead of converting its potential energy; for example, he can charge his Bo staff with enough kinetic energy and power to level a small house. He can also use this to make him faster than a normal human, though not by much. He cannot charge living beings, like animals and other people. At least he is pretty sure he can’t, he has never tried.
Weapons: Lev keeps a small pouch of pebbles on him, they are easy to find and quick to charge. He is also well trained in fighting with a Bo staff as well as well practiced in Keto.
Weaknesses: Lev is still very much a human so being stabbed or shot can kill him if not attended to or if it’s a lethal wound.
Likes: Food, women, men, money
Dislikes: people disrespecting him
Current Residence: A small flat in NYC
Backstory: Lev was born in Moscow, Russia. Though he and his parents only lived there for the first 11 years of his life. It was at age 10 that Lev accidentally discovered his abilities. It was because of this that his family had to flee the country. From the age of 11 to the present day he has been in America. His family settled in New York and took work where they could find it. They were a poor family, relying on the kindness of neighbors and friends most of the time to get by.
As he grew up, Lev learned how to control his abilities and ended up with the wrong type of people. Though he chooses to keep this part of his life to himself. Often glancing over his teen years when talking about himself. Now, as an adult he still has some dealings with the more sketchy side of the city however it’s more something he uses to gather information he might need. He has friends in dark places and is not afraid to utilize those friends when it suits him. Though he is just as quick to turn on those same people should they betray him.
Special Skills: Keto, despite his lack of a filter he is a master and knowing what people want to hear. He is a smooth talker when he wants to be. Fluent in Russian.
Other: Has a prominent Russian accent when he speaks.
