Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Arena
Skills: N/A

"Just a rá Janey, ní mór duit a fhoghlaim i ndáiríre a bheith le beagán de aghaidh poker agus gan a bheith chomh follasach faoi. Ansin arís b’fhéidir go bhfuil sé mar gheall go bhfuil aithne agam ar do shaol ar fad agus gur féidir liom a rá cathain a bhíonn tú i do luí nó ar a laghad iarracht a dhéanamh," he said, nudging her a bit and chuckling as she yet again gave him a bit of a face. Jason was mainly just teasing her currently, but also he was just stating the facts of how things were. She was a bit obvious about what went through her mind, at least to him.

"Oh dún suas Jason! Is féidir leat a bheith chomh mean dom uaireanta ach cén fáth?" Janelle responded, rolling her eyes with his comments. He could be so annoying sometimes, that was for sure, and sometimes she did wish that she could see his face and just as easily read his facial expressions as easily as he seemingly could read hers. All she had to rely on was the words and how people spoke in order to figure out what might be going through their heads. Janelle jumped slightly when she heard Jace's voice suddenly pop up out of nowhere and start talking to them.

Jason turned to look at Jace when he started talking to them, asking what they were talking about. "Ahh, you know, just givin Janelle a 'ard time, but dat's nahthin new," he responded to him with a laugh, and Janelle shook her head slightly at him yet again. "Messin around wit dem 'ow?" he couldn't help but smile a bit, figuring that messing with a few of the kids or something would definitely be amusing in some way to him, he looked over towards his sister, wondering what her response would be. He might still go if she wanted to stay behind though.

It took a moment for her to grasp fully what was being said, since she had been startled a bit by Jace's sudden appearance, at least it was sudden to her anyway since she hadn't seen him walk over of course. "I dahn't really want to... but danks fahr de invite. Jasahn, if you want to go and 'ave fun, feel free to, dahn't wahrry about me," she responded calmly, saying the last part more directly towards her brother. Besides, she likely wouldn't be much help in whatever they were likely going to go off and do anyway, so she was better off staying off to the side.

Marygold Isley

Location: The Arena

Mary smiled slightly at Stella when she said that she was going to go off and send the message right now since there was plenty of time for it as opposed to later. "We'll see you in a little bit then," she said with a wave as the girl walked off to go send her message. Looking towards Kristin with her question, she shrugged in response, "I honestly don't know what to do now. Things aren't exactly moving along since the Romans are taking their sweet time getting over here and all to get the party started." Yup, the Romans really need to get there already to make things go faster.

She fell silent, but she did catch a glimpse of Stella wandering off towards Zeke and Demi after a few moments, and it seemed like something was going on over there. "Okay... What's going on over there?" she couldn't help but ask, "I think I'll tag along with you," she added, before getting up and following after Kristin to see that Stella had seemingly tied Lauryn up. "Are you guys okay? What exactly happened here?" Mary couldn't help but ask, and based on what she saw, it was probably going to be an interesting explanation as to what was going on.

What Leda said made sense and tracked with what Mads and her friends had said about it too. There didn't seem to be any hope, except for the one small bit where two demi-gods had survived being there once. She had a dozen questions about them, but she was trying too hard to keep from crying.

Andy was trying to contain herself, but she wasn't doing a good job. With Arthur holding her hand and giving it a squeeze and Kiera hugging her started sobbing. She hated that she was being a baby. But she was glad that her brother and Aunt didn't seem to be around. She hadn't seen where Demi had gone, and she knew that her Aunt was having a meeting with the other Romans.

When Kiera asked if prophecies could be changed Andy looked to Leda with hope. Could they? The way Mads and her friends had talked about it it hadn't seemed like it. Did Mads have hope of surviving? If it had happened before there was hope at least. No one could say it was impossible.

Niah was relieved that Daniella agreed and that the senate's vote allowed for it. She nodded and gave the young woman a warm smile. She probably hadn't been expecting the promotion. Daniella probably came to this meeting expecting it to be an average one. There was a future where they would need to replace Nancy too. Niah didn't know how much longer Nancy would be willing to be Praetor, especially without Mads.

"I believe all we need to do is approve the quest." Niah said, her voice deep with emotion. "I approve it." She said holding her hand up. They hadn't really talked about the quest. But that was the way of prophecies sometimes, they just happened. They would unfold as they saw fit. Trying to avoid them would often cause worse outcomes.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Arena -- Camp Half-Blood
Skills: Healing;

Ezekiel glanced down when he noticed shadows gathering underneath him and around him. They wrapped themselves around Lauryn and then Demetri was telling Zeke he had her. With shadows? How the hell was he doing that? Ezekiel looked at Demetri with confusion and started to shift away to move when vines joined in the wrappings pinning Lauryn down. Ezekiel was glad to see he might not have to go after all. A small red-headed girl came running over to them, asking if they were okay. She was followed shortly after by Kristin and Mary who asked what was going on.
”I don’t bloody well know.” Zeke nodded at Lauryn who looked relatively normal now as she looked at her bindings with confusion. The cold air around him disappeared and he pushed the top of his hilt where the sword shifted back to his keychain. He slipped the sun into his pocket and examined his cut up arms, still feeling the sting of them.
”Lauryn came over being all creepy and then started slicing and dicing.” Ezekiel looked at Demetri for his input and placed hands on either arm. A soft glow started around Ezekiel’s hands as he managed to get the bleeding of Demi’s wounds to stop but couldn’t get them to heal over. Zeke took his hands off and shook them out, figuring his own wounds were counteracting his full abilities. ”I’ll try again later,” he noted.
Ezekiel looked back at Lauryn, frowning as he thought about what the hell just happened. An idea occurred to him though and he walked over to her. ”Don’t cut me,” he asked of her before placing a hand on her head and shut his eyes. Zeke’s hand started to glow like it had with healing Demetri. Zeke reached out, searching for a disease or something foreign that could have been attacking Lauryn.
Some of his siblings had the ability but Zeke had never tried disease detection before. Zeke couldn't detect anything within Lauryn but he wasn’t sure if that was because he couldn’t, his wounds were stopping him or there was nothing medically wrong with her. Zeke opened his eyes and pulled his hand back before looking at the others.
”Mind control maybe? I could have one of the other Apollo kids look at her though. Do you remember anything before now, Lauryn?” He looked back at her, hoping there would be some answers for her behaviour.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Camp Grounds away from fire

Demetri watched as vines began to encase his shadows. His eyes spread wide wondering how he was doing that until Stella made herself known asking if they were OK. He looked towards Stella, mouth agape in confusion and shock before looking back towards Lauryn. The golden hue had faded from her eyes, the cold chill that ran through the air had dissipated, and the voice had stopped. What the bloody hell was going on tonight? His thoughts were echoed by Mary and Kristin as they followed in shortly after Stella.

Demi only shook his head in disbelief, still unsure of what had transpired. Zeke seemed to have the talking handled, giving Demi some time to reel in from the current events until a warmth began to spread on his arms and he saw the soft light of Zeke's healing. He tried not to smile, keeping a slight look of disdain as if the act of Zeke touching him was an affront to their relationship. Of course he didn't mean it, but now they had an audience. "No idea. Was having a simple chat when the air suddenly got cold and I heard a voice whispering to me saying...well it doesn't really matter what they said. But shortly after Lauryn came over here acting all Jason Vorhees on us and...I...I'm not sure how but I think my uncle was watching over us. Shadows just sprung into action and wrapped her up good."

That was the only logical explanation for all of this. Hades must've been keeping an eye on his nephew, seeing something seriously fucked happening and then intervened. He was feeling safe now, his guard getting down and the shadows began to shrink and form back into his own. Demi crossed his arms over his chest, taking a cursory glance to see if there were any medicinal herbs he'd recognized from the books that Zeke read. But there was nothing but grass as far as the eye could see. He waited till Zeke was done with whatever he was doing to Lauryn, calling out his dagger and ripping up a few shreds of his shirt. They were scraps, barely helpful.

Demetri rolled his eyes and sighed as he tore off a longer stretch all around. Turning his shirt into a high crop top just above his belly button. "Come here dumbass. You know your powers don't work on you and we've got to stop the bleeding before it gets worse." He wrapped the strip of shirt around Zeke's arm, pulling it taught to apply pressure on the wound and staunch the flow of blood. "Should have both Apollo and Hecate kids check her out. Could be mind control on either side of the spectrum so better to be safe than sorry." After the help Demi received today from Lauryn, he wanted to make sure she was ok.

Cassian Rudenko

Location: Camp Grounds > Hecate Cabin

Cassian took his tea cup, looking out towards the cabin's doors once more before finally taking his seat along with Annabelle. He gave a gentle blow to help cool it down before taking a sip. It worked to help his nerves, feeling a faint calming sensation as he swallowed his first sip. But there still lingered a lot of uncertainty in everything that was going on and even more so with her answers. "Can Gaia truly be destroyed? Won't she just reform in The Pit and come back? And if she is gone for good...then what is it her agents will do without her?"

Power Vacuums were seldom a good thing in the political world. Cassian could only imagine how bad they would be in a world full of gods and monsters. He took another sip, his shoulders relaxing a bit as his demeanor dropped slightly. "That shadow...whatever it was. It was following us here but as soon as I entered...it stopped. All traces of its presence vanished so I figured. Well that maybe this cabin was protected in some way. Or perhaps whatever it is is afraid to cross Hecate and her children." Cassian drank again, this time a bit longer as he held the cup up to his lips while his eyes stayed fixated on Annabelle.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Arena
Skills: N/A

Arthur listed with rapt attention as Leda spoke, talking about how Tartarus was the pit and an absolutely monstrous and dangerous place. He gritted his teeth at the information, a success rate of two people didn't bode well for getting Mads back, and he didn't want to go on a suicide mission for the hope saving Mads, but he knew he would if he had to. He wouldn't let anybody else suffer if he could prevent it, especially somebody Andy cared about so much. As Leda asked for his word, he bit his lip internally, and thought.

There were, of course, multiple ways to go about circumventing that promise, alone is a pretty subjective word. Arthur could argue that, as long as Andy was alive, he was never truly alone, but he didn't know if magical promises made on preternatural rivers that flow through realms he had previously thought non existent were that amenable to technicalities made on oaths sworn them. He exhaled and said, "I don't intend to go off into the deepest. scariest place in all the world alone, I can promise that." Arthur said carefully, squeezing Andy's hand.

Stella paused a bit as suddenly Kristin and Marygold came over, as well as a few others. She was second guessing herself, wondering if she had done the wrong thing. However, she did see that Demi and Zeke were all cut up now, and it seemed that Lauryn was confused as to why she was there now, all tied up. It took Stella a moment, as at first she was too flustered, but once she focused again the vines came down from around Lauryn, and let the young woman go.

"I don't know what happened myself, but all I know is that I was trying to Iris message my dads, and they both must be super confused now since I cut off the call, and I saw Lauryn attacking Demi and Zeke... and I felt I had to do something, but I didn't see the shadows wrapping her up either until after I had tied her up in the vines as well. I can't attest to anything else that happened, but I am sorry Lauryn but I couldn't let you keep doing that. I'm sorry." Of course, Stella was stumbling over her words and speaking quickly as if she had just gotten in trouble for breaking something.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena
Skills: N/A

Leda hesitated for a moment, considering lying and saying that all prophecies could be changed, that they were all malleable. From what she knew, some prophecies were more or less fate - whereas others were warnings if the wrong path was taken. Andy was looking at her with those sad puppy dog eyes, literally in tears. Arthur looked like he was doing his very best to be brave. "Yeah, prophecies can be changed and all, some of them are just sorta like warnings of things that could happen," Leda answered. She decided that telling a small lie and giving them some comfort now was for the best - and it wasn't a huge lie, more of an omission. Some prophecies couldn't be changed.

But telling them that wasn't going to help them at the moment. "Do you two want some chocolate or something, maybe? I can dash off and see about getting some. Chocolate always helps me feel better, got a bit of a sweet tooth and all," Leda suggested. She wondered briefly where Andy's brother was. Shouldn't he have known how upset his little sister was? His absence was weird. "Or if you got something more specific in mind, I can get that too." Sugar always made people feel better, right?

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Senate Tent
Skills: N/A

Nancy was at least mildly curious as to how Daniella would be as a praetor. She had only been co-praetors with Mads, no one else. The praetorship was all about partnership and a new dynamic could have interesting results. Of course, she was only mildly interested because her mind was largely preoccupied with doom and gloom and anxiety - and anger at Leandra, even if it wasn't technically her fault for being possessed by an angry ghost, but Nancy chose to blame her anyways. They had a lengthy uphill battle up ahead of them - a fight against fate in Mads' case.

Her throat caught for a moment as Niah made a motion to approve the quest. Part of her wanted to say no, to forbid it, to lock Mads up somewhere safe to keep her from ever venturing towards certain death. But she knew that trying to fight the will of the Fates was futile. It was in the prophecy - it was going to happen, one way or another. Nancy raised her hand as well, voting to approve the quest, even as it filled her heart was sadness. She was going to have to get used to this. One way or another, all of her friends would die one day, whether it was in battle or due to sickness or old age.

Hecate Cabin:

Annabelle gave a slight shrug. "Gaia betrayed Ouranos some thousands of years ago with the help of Kronos, and yet he has yet to return. Kronos is gone as well to, and hasn't returned so whether they will reform or not we don't know." She said to him honestly as she leaned back and took a sip of her tea. "They and others who followed Gaia will probably follow whoever is the next to come out and rise to take her place." She reached over and grabbed the tea pot and poured herself another glass before putting it down. "Maybe, or it may have found a new target as well to. Was there anything else you'd like to know?" She asked him.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena.
Skills: N/A

Kristin crossed her arms over her chest as she started to think about what Demi and Zeke were saying as she looked towards Lauryn who seemed to be completely fine just really confused. "I honestly don't remember much, I was with my other siblings in the arena and shortly after sitting down I felt a cold presence, and then nothing." Lauryn said as she rubbed her arms slightly the restraints were really tight, before Kristin spoke up looking over towards Demi. She turned towards Stella and smiled towards her and gently ruffled the girl's hair to cheer her up, she did the right thing after all trying to restrain Lauryn from harming herself or Demi or Zeke. "It's alright you did really good." Kristen said towards Stella.

"What did the voice say don't leave out any details, it could be really important and whatever it's intentions could be?" Kristin asked him, she wasn't sure what actually happened, but she nodded slightly. "I can go look for Bryan and Annabelle for you, see what they could do they shouldn't be to far really." Kristin offered, when it came to healing and magic that was so out of her forte she wasn't sure she'd be of much help really either.

Jace looked over towards Janelle who jumped when he had approached her. "I'm really sorry I didn't mean to scare you at all." Jace said towards Janelle as he looked towards Jason and smirked a bit. "Awesome, we can meet up after this whole meeting thing or whatever it is Juan and the other Hermes kids tend to hang out around here a little later we can meet just outside of the Hermes' cabin." He told Jason as Jace looked towards Janelle. "You sure you don't wanna come? It'll be fun."

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena
Skills: N/A

Kiera turned her attention towards Andy again seeing and hearing the girl sobbing she gently held onto her, she hadn't known the Roman Praetor for very long, but if she had become leader of the Roman's she must be really good. [color=DeepSkyBlue]"Hey she'll be alright she's tougher than she looks, they wouldn't have made her Praetor without a good reason."[/coor] Kiera said trying to reasure the two of them while looking over at Arthur making a promise to Leda that he wouldn't go down there alone.

"Some chocolate would be good right about now, or maybe some ice cream or maybe some soda to?" Kiera suggested those were her usual go to's whenever she was stressed out, angry or upset and sad over something she'd always pig out on all of the junk food that she could get her hands on. She was also a bit surprised that Demi wasn't even here to comfort his sister at all which felt a bit weird to her if she had a sibling she'd be with them right now.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Roman Area, Senate Tent
Skills:

Madalyne watched as Niah and Nancy both started to raise their hands and approve the quest, she raised her hand as well to, even though it was for her she was still Praetor until midnight anyway. One by one the other senators started to raise their hands, either they wanted to have her out or they were genuinely knew that if they didn't approve the quest was dangerous. Madalyne then stood up and looked at the Legion in the room. "I guess it's approved then, unless anything else needs to be brought up then this senate meeting is over." Madalyne said as she looked at them all.

"You may now head over to the arena and meet the Greeks there." She took a moment and sighed a bit before turning to look at Niah and Nancy. "Though Niah and Nancy I request that you guys stay here a bit longer to talk privately." She said, as the senators and members of the legion filed out one by one. Madalyne sat down again letting out a slight sigh as she looked over at Nancy and Niah, before reaching down and pulled out a small box and pushed it over towards them.

"I made these while I had the time to." She said as she opened it, inside of it were four small necklaces with what looked like a small vial attached to them with what looked to have some red liquid in them that was glowing a bright red. "I enchanted them to let you know if I am alright or not, the closer I am to all of you the brighter it'll be. If it starts flashing then that means I am in trouble, and if it stops then something might have happened i'm not sure though if it'll work while i'm down there though." She informed them.

Stella had been a bit worried that she had done the right thing until Kristin ruffled her hair a bit and told her that she had done good. She did smile a little bit at that. She had done the right thing, and it seemed that she had helped prevent Demi and Zeke from being hurt more. "Thank you." She spoke softly and shyly at that point as she wasn't sure that she could add too much to the moment, since she hadn't witnessed too much earlier. "I'm sorry Lauryn, I do hope I didn't bind you too tightly." SHe shuffled for a bit at that point and then looked back up to Kristin.

"Can I have a couple more drachma please? My Iris call to my dad's got cut off because I went to restrain Lauryn and I didn't think they should see it." Stella looked sheepish as she asked this of Kristin and waited for her response. She doubted that she was the first ever demi-god to have an Iris message cut off, but she did feel bad for having to ask for more money to make the call.

Whatever had happened seemed to pass as Lauryn seemed more stable the more they talked. She still had no recollection of what happened other than feeling cold, which Zeke had also noticed before Lauryn attacked them. It made no sense to Zeke and then Demi was calling him a dumbass.
Zeke turned his head, frowning at Demi and about to call him out when Demi ripped his shirt, unsuccessfully and started wrapping Zeke’s arms. It barely did anything.
”Seriously?” Zeke didn’t understand the point of that. Sure he was bleeding and it hurt like burning sun but Zeke could easily go to one of his siblings and they would heal him up just fine.
He looked back at Kristin when she suggested going to get Bryan and Annabelle, who were heads of Apollo and Hecate cabins. Ezekiel nodded in agreement, hating that he agreed with her. He had been agreeing a lot with Kristin lately and it was frustrating.
Something shifted then and Zeke’s mind went blank, his body turned to face Demetri. Zombie Zeke walked towards him, raising his arms and wrapped hands around Demi’s neck. Zeke’s hands tightened without his awareness and started to squeeze. Zeke was choking Demetri!

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena -> Dining Pavilion -> Arena
Skills: Superspeed

Leda honestly didn't know much about the process of becoming praetor, but knowing the Romans, it probably involved at least ten interviews, fifteen thousand letters of recommendation, and probably a fair bit of nepotism. Survival skills fell somewhere in one of those areas, right? Rather than ponder this aloud, Leda nodded encouragingly, trying to back up the reassurance that Kiera was giving the kids. It was fine to lie to them as long as it made them feel better, Leda had already determined this, so was it that much more of a stretch to agree on the survival skills of someone she barely knew? There unfortunately hadn't been very many more Real Housewives of New Rome scenes happening when Leda was around to watch.

"On it, be back in a flash," Leda said, kissing Kiera on the cheek and then darting off at superspeed, turning into a rainbow blur to anyone who happened to be watching. She hit the dining pavilion first, figuring that it was most likely to have some snacks laying around, and she was in luck. There were some Oreos, Doritos, and Cheetohs sitting out unfinished. Leda scooped them up and then zoomed on back to the arena, coming to a halt in front of Andy, Arthur, and Kiera. "Junk food has arrived," she announced, setting down the items. "Dig in."

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Senate Tent
Skills: N/A

Nancy guessed what Madalyne wanted to talk to them about - probably something to do with the potentially fatal quest they had all just approved to send Mads on. Nancy's throat felt dry. She didn't want to talk about this. Talking about it would only make it real, would only force her to confront the fact that this could be the last time she'd see her best friend. Mads could die before Apollo would even get around to finding a cure for her condition. She could die and be forced to wade through the Pit to reform on Earth as a monster.

While the rest of the Senate left, Nancy stayed behind with her friends. She tilted her head slightly as Mads pushed a small box towards them, opening it up to reveal necklaces with what Nancy assumed was a small sample of Mads' blood. "This is scary grody, but cool," Nancy admitted, picking up one necklace and then putting it on. "You're going to be fine. It's all going to work out," she said. Nancy didn't know if she was reassuring Mads or herself.

Andy hadn't promised she wouldn't go looking for her Aunt without help, but it didn't matter because she knew that Arthur and Mads friends would help. Something bumped into the back of her leg and she jumped a little startled before bending over and looking to see what it was. It hadn't felt like she had been kicked. She let go of Arthur's hand and pulled out a strange-looking puppy.

She wiped at her face a bit, trying to calm down, and took the Oreos, offering one to Arthur. "Thank you." She said sniffling a little bit still. She munched on an Oreo with one hand and pet the puppy with the other. She didn't know whose dog it was as she hadn't seen it before. Once she finished the cookie she asked, "Any idea whose dog this is?" Though the puppy didn't seem to be looking for anyone and instead had licked Andy's face before settling down on her lap.

Niah felt sick. Like she had just put a death sentence on her best friend, which wasn't far from the truth. She watched the others filter out of the Senate tent and once they were gone, her shoulders dropped a bit and her proper attitude she maintained while in Senate disappeared.

Mads opened a small box and she saw the glowing red vials. She could make guesses as to how the magic worked, though it was beyond her skill. She was still a novice at magic. "Thank you." She picked one up and put it around her neck, hiding the vial under her shirt. For a moment Niah placed her hand over the small bump that it created and felt the coolness of the vial before it warmed up from her body temperature.

"We'll figure it out." She gave both Mads and Nancy a reassuring smile, well her best approximation at one. She pulled Mads into a tight hug, not something she did often. "Was there something else or should we head over to the campfire? I'm sure the Greeks are doing something dramatic while waiting." She sighed shaking her head a bit as she released Mads from the hug. She also figured she should also warn them about the Eidolon.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Camp Grounds away from fire
Skills:

He doesn't even like you, he loves the blind girl The words echoed in Demetri's mind as everyone conversed amongst themselves. Did what it said really matter? He shot a sideways glance towards Kristin as she asked him not to spare any details. Taking in a breath and steeling his nerves as he was about to say what the ghost had told him. Demi went to open his mouth to speak when he noticed a slight change in Zeke's behavior, as if he lost any sense of charm that usually permeated his personality. Zeke reached up and choked Demetri, causing him to gasp slightly as he managed to choke out a couple of words. "Seriously?"

A million thoughts ran through Demi's head as he was being strangled. Was this Zeke's true character? Did he truly care so little of him that he was willing to kill him so that nothing stood between him and Janelle? Demi tried asking him to stop but the words couldn't come out, so he swung his leg wildly in an attempt to kick Zeke in his family jewels. His hits were wide and only served to aggravate Zeke, making him strengthen his grip on his throat and cause Demi to asphyxiate. Tears started to stream down Demetri's cheeks as he looked at a now blurred vision of Zeke.

Stop This he mouthed, the words finding no form other than a mangled gasp of air. Demi could feel himself lose focus and consciousness and he had to act fast. In his state of delirium he wondered if perhaps he could shock Zeke out of whatever was happening. If he thought he was hurting Janelle, then maybe...Demi tried to shift but he'd already lost too much oxygen and he couldn't change forms. He could tell the world was getting darker now, slipping, as his body went limp for a moment before jolting back with a spark of life. Demetri's eye were pitch black as he stared at Zeke's face and shadows began to surround the child of Zeus. He could feel Zeke’s grip loosening, allowing him enough room to breathe but not enough to break free.

Cassian sipped at his tea, his eyes peering over the rim of the cup to watch Anabelle as she spoke about Gaia, Ouranos, and the Eidelons. The idea that they would follow whoever was next was a bit worrisome, until a new thought replaced it. What if the Eidolon was attempting to follow him? Did the being believe he could ascend like his father did? Though Cass doubted that any of the gods would step down in the manner that Hestia had. Then Anabelle mentioned her thoughts, that perhaps it went to pursue someone else.

"If the creature was a follower of them, and now is on Camp somewhere searching for new people to do its bidding...should we try to find it? Is there a way we can banish it or exorcise it before it grabs hold of any of the Campers?" Cassian's hand instinctively went to his side, feeling the cool Celestial bronze of his pipes as he scooted his chair slightly back. He wanted to ask more, but if there really was an agent like that roaming the camp, then perhaps Annabelles attention was needed elsewhere to help..

He didn't know if she was telling him a lie to comfort him or not, but he did know that, broadly people here did what they could to ensure mutual survival, and so it was an attempt to help him in some way. He took it at face value, and said, "Chocolate sounds good, thank you Leda." He said, before turning more of his attention on Andy. He made small circles on her hand with his thumb, and exhaled. He really didn't have a way to convince her things would be fine, because he himself wasn't convinced of that.

Arthur gave a surprised look as the puppy materialized out of nowhere. The quiet, slightly paranoid part of his mind was worried that this was some sort of god or magic thing that'd be watching them and waiting to screw them over, but the much louder, 12 year old part of his brain wanted to pet the very very cute dog. Arthur very quickly responded to Andy with, "If nobody claimed him in the next minute, he's ours forever.", before scratching behind the ears of the mystery dog. Dogs were soft and cute and good, and he wanted very much for this to just be an easy thing.

Hecate Cabin:

"I think you miss understood, they hate the gods and mortals so they won't really follow you unless they want to attack you they probably will only follow a Titan, Giant or Primordial." Annabelle told Cassian as she finished up the rest of her tea, as she thought for a moment and nodded, they were spirits, and mainly children of Hecate or her Roman counterpart Trivia, or even Hades or Pluto also his Roman half had control over the dead maybe even Thanatos to. "They are spirits though not sure if they could be controlled or conviced to leave but it's worth a shot if they are in the camp." Annabelle said to Cass.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena.
Skills: N/A

Kristin turned her attention towards Stella asking if she could borrow some drachma so that way she could actually Iris Message her parents again and nodded towards her and smiled some. "Of course you can." Kristin said as she started to dig into her pockets and started to fish around eventually she found her drachma and handed Stella one. "Here you go." Kristin said towards Stella giving it to Stella dropping the bronze coin into Stella's hand before turning her attention back to Demi.

She was shocked to see that Zeke had his hands literally wrapped around Zeke's neck and he was starting to choke the life out of him, she thought about taking her spear and hitting him over the head with it. But that wouldn't do any good at all as Kristin quickly went over and started to try and pry Zeke's hand off of Demi's neck while looking at him, noticing that golden hue to his eyes. "Zeke let go of him!" Kristin yelled but she wasn't able to pry Zeke's hands off of Demi's neck.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena
Skills: N/A

Kiera smiled towards her girlfriend as she kissed her on the cheek. "See you soon babe." Kiera said towards Leda as she ran off and out of sight. Kiera turned to see Andy pulling out an adorable little puppy to her it resembled a black St. Bernard puppy and couldn't help but smile. "Awww so cute." Kiera said as she reached over to gently pet the cute little pupper, when Leda got back she'd easily be able to recognize it as a Hellhound pup and that they had the ability to shadow travel as well.

"Thank you love." Kiera said as she started to take a bag of doritos that were opened and started to dig in rather quickly she didn't really care that it may have already been half eaten they were always good in her opinion. "Where do you think it came from?" Kiera asked looking over towards Leda for a moment.

Jace quickly snapped his fingers and looked towards Jason and smiled towards his half brother and sister. "Actually I think theres some old stink bombs to inside of our cabin, would you mind getting those whenever we are done here to?" He asked him, as both Jason and Janelle would feel a weird cold presence around them as well to. Jace' eyes suddenly had a slight golden hue to them as well, and turned around and took a swing at Janelle's head, hitting her in the side of the head Possessed Jace laughed slightly a small gash appeared on the side of Janelle's head. Some of the younger campers there no younger than maybe ten or twelve who were sitting close by quickly got out of the way.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Roman Area, Senate Tent
Skills:

Madalyne looked towards Nancy and gave her a genuine smile and giggled slightly when she called it grody blood was usually the best way to use for tracking spells rather than hair in her opinion. "Thank you and at least you guys will have a literal piece of me everywhere you guys go now." Madalyne said, as she felt Niah hugging her and returned the hug, letting out a shaky sigh as she hugged Niah tightly. She had come to terms with her condition right now. But she was really scared of dying seeing a lot of Legionnaires dying before especially during the Fall of New Rome and wondered what they were thinking in their last moments and if they found peace in Elysium. "Thank you." Madalyne said softly.

"We should probably get going now, after making the Greeks waiting forever for us." Madalyne said taking a moment to wipe away a tear as she stood up. "Maybe after the whole meeting we could go out for a walk or something?" She said, she just wanted to also take a moment to have some time to herself and those that she is closest with to.

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Arena
Skills: N/A

"Sounds like fun to me, I'm in," Jason said with a bit of a smile when Jace said where they were going to be meeting up. At least it would be fun, and honestly he wasn't at all surprised that Janelle didn't want to join in. She typically stayed away from that sort of thing, so yeah, he had kind of expected it no matter what was said. Not like he hadn't tried to get her to join in any sort of tricks he'd try to play on people, but the answer from her was always just no, so he didn't typically try to push for it.

"I'm sure... I'd prahbably just get in de way anyway, so I'm fine naht joinin in. Plus I'm naht good wit pranks ahr whatever anyway," Janelle said with a slight smile. She wasn't too into pulling pranks on anyone else anyway, especially since the point was to be able to laugh at the chaos caused. In order for her to be able to do that, she'd need someone to more or less describe the chaos that was ensuing, and where was the fun in that? It would just be a bother to everyone else, and she didn't want to cause any problems for them.

"I've tried gettin 'er to join in at times fahr pranks ahr stuff like dat, so dahn't bahther tryin to cahnvence 'er, de answer typically is de same. Bt it is always nice to at least ask about it," he then added. The cold feeling that suddenly swept by was more than a bit strange, and he looked at Jace when he saw the strange color in his eyes. "Uh, Jace? Are you ahkay?" he asked, wondering what the hell was going on all of a sudden, since that he didn't think was typically normal.

She didn't even know what it was that her brother was talking about, with the sudden sort of concern in his voice with regards to Jace. That didn't sound good, and she was about to ask what her brother was talking about, when she felt something hit her head rather hard, causing her to more or less sort of fall a little bit. The thing was, if she was in a fight, she knew to expect attacks to come from any direction, however, in this instant she hadn't expected it. Her hand went up to the side of her head as she felt blood coming from a gash on her head. "...What 'appened?" she asked, a bit confused, and she heard her brother instantly get up and draw his own sword.

Marygold Isley

Location: The Arena
Skills: Chlorokinesis

Upon hearing about the incident with Lauryn and how she had more or less ended up tied up by Stella. That sort of situation was not a good thing, and the fact that she didn't seem to remember how she had gotten to where they were now was more than a bit concerning. Not remembering actions, especially when you ended up attacking and hurting someone or something with regards to it? No, things like that were some of the worst things to possibly have happen randomly in the camp, unless it was someone's weird idea of a joke, but usually pranks didn't typically go that far.

Mary was about to say something, when Zeke decided to start trying to more or less strangle Demetri. Now, under normal circumstances, she probably wouldn't have thought much of it, figuring that Demi said something stupid that pissed Zeke off, but considering what had happened with Lauryn, she figured it was better safe than sorry. "Zeke stop!" she said instantly, as vines jumped forward from the ground and yanked him off of Demi, and more or less tied him up. "Okay... What the hell is going on?"

Stella smiled happily as Kristin gave her another bronze drachma so that she might call her dad's. "Thank you again so much, hopefully this time I can call them without trouble." She half chuckled at that before looking down and seeing something right in front of her. She leaned down to pick it up, and examined it. It was a beautiful bronze sickle, that shined beautifully in the flickering firelight from the camp fire. As Stella wrapped her slender and small fingers around it, she instantly knew that this was a gift from her mother. She smiled brighter at that, as she could tell that this was going to come in handy.

As she was getting ready to split from the group, her attention was drawn back to it when Zeke started choking Demi! "What are you doing?!" She nearly screamed out as she saw that. She was about to summon vines when she saw that Mary had done it and the vines were tying up Zeke. She went over to Demi, kneeling next to him. "Are you okay? Say something? Is there someone I should go get?" She looked up at Kristin, ready to do anything that she could to help the poor young man out.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Arena -- Camp Half-Blood
Skills:

Eidolon Zeke seemed unphased by Demetri’s attempts to stop being choked. It almost seemed like they were getting stronger and they liked that. Zeke’s eyes glowed an unnatural gold instead of their baby blue and a smirk crossed his face as he continued to choke Demetri. Their plans were quickly foiled though when another demi-god wrapped vines around them, forcing them to break away from Demetri. Eidolon Zeke glared for a moment, straining against the restraints until suddenly the gold faded and Zeke’s eye colour returned to normal.
Ezekiel sagged back feeling like he had just been knocked out. His vision was fuzzy on the sides and he blinked several times.
”Wha….whatsgoingon?” He’s speech was slurred as he came to. Zeke could then feel his arms pinned behind him and something tight wrapped around him that smelled faintly of strawberries. Zeke looked around him, seeing he was now tied back by vines. Panic filled Zeke and he looked around, assuming that he had just been possessed by whatever, like Lauryn had. He looked around, trying to see the damage he had done or who he had attacked. His eyes landed on Demetri and that girl from earlier looking him over. Fear settled over him as his eyes locked on bruises forming around Demetri’s neck.
Zeke couldn’t bring himself to speak. Instead, his posture slumped again and he stared at the ground for a few seconds as the guilt and self loathing settled in. He looked up quickly, finding Kristin and locked eyes on her.
”What in the name of Athena is going on?”

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Camp Grounds away from fire
Skills:

Demi's eye returned to normal once the grip was broken free. His natural electric blue eye showed through as he stood there eye wide open and gasping for breath. He'd hardly noticed the shadows that had rescued him once more, seemingly kicking in as a subconscious defense mechanism at the moment. It took him a moment to hear the words Stella was speaking. Stuck in a state of shock as he stared at her blankly for a moment before letting out a few raspy words. "I'll be fine…" He looked away, towards the ground knowing his eye would betray him.

Demetri's hand reached up towards his neck slowly, feeling the stinging heat from where it had been gripped before looking at Zeke with both worry and fear. All of that seemed to melt away however as he saw Zeke's demeanor change. He recognized it too well, something he battled with himself. Demi took a few shaky breaths, his hand twitching forward as he wished to go up and hug Zekez to tell him it was fine. He stood up, looking towards the son of Apollo. "Don't beat yourself, you were possessed like Lauryn so no sweat. But...you'll have to make it up to me and heal me later so it doesn't bruise OK? Still gotta finish this one." He said holding up his arm to show the scratches left from the cut Lauryn had given him.

Tonight had served to grant Demi with more questions than answers. The prophecies hadn't even been spoken yet and already two campers had gotten possessed, weird shadows had come to his aid, Zeke complemented him in an almost loving way, and now they were stuck in a position where they couldn't talk about what happened without an audience present. Demi let out a sigh, holding his hand out to help Stella back up. "Not sure we've met yet. Names Demi, or Demetri, or whatever really. Thanks for...ya know...caring about me back there."

Cassian Rudenko

Location: Camp Grounds > Hecate Cabin
Skills:

Cassian sat back in his chain, a pensive finger placed upon his chin. "Well...if they do hate gods and their children, then chances are they could be hanging around the campfire. I didn't hear or spot them until I was alone and began to move away from it, but if there are any other campers roaming near the periphery like I was...that might be where we'll find them." He didn't like to think of what could've been happening since he left. Since he took his eyes off of the shadowy figure. If the cabin wasn't warded, then perhaps their avoidance was the children of Hecate after all. Fear that they'd be banished down to where they came.

Cassian finished his cup and placed it down. Looking towards Anabelle with determination in his eyes. "If they are roaming about then we can't very well waste time here. Not that I didn't appreciate the drink and conversation, but perhaps we should check on the campers by the fire and then see if anyone's spotted anything odd since then or noticed any campers go off on their own? Not sure how good my music will hold up against these creatures, but I'll try my best given I'm not equipped with a quiver and bow at the moment."

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena
Skills: N/A

Leda raised an eyebrow, genuinely confused where the dog had come from, although it was probably just someone's pet. Arthur was pretty quick to claim the dog and Leda glanced around, looking for any sign of an owner, but she didn't see anyone. "Oh, duh!" Leda exclaimed. She could have kicked herself. It wasn't a dog at all - it was a hellhound puppy. And those came from one place. It was probably some sort of present for Arthur (or Andy, maybe Zeus was into hellhound puppers these days). "The pupper's a hellhound - they're from the Underworld and they can shadow travel. I'm guessing Hades may've sent it on up to you? That or the little fella's just lost."

The puppy was adorable and Leda let the pupper sniff her hand, before giving the dog a quick pet. "Think it's been a minute, lovelies, so what are ya naming it?" she asked. It was honestly her favorite thing to do with animals - coming up with a name. You could name an animal just about anything, making animal names vastly superior to people names. There was a similar rule for weapons - case in point, no one would name a person Ultraviolet, but it was a perfect name for her weapon. Mostly though, Leda was just glad that the dog seemed to be distracting Andy and Arthur a bit - the two of them were really going through it.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Senate Tent
Skills: N/A

Nancy forced herself to smile and laugh at Mads' joke, even if she didn't feel it. She knew that Mads was trying to make them feel better about this situation, but that wasn't right - Mads was the one who apparently was fated to die, Niah and Nancy weren't. They didn't have a death prophecy hanging over their heads. They should have been the ones comforting her. "I have always wanted some of your blood," Nancy tried to joke, hoping to lighten some of the tension Mads had to be feeling.

She didn't really care that the Greeks had been waiting for a while. The Greeks probably hadn't even noticed. From what Nancy could tell, the Greeks didn't have a god in charge of punctuality, instead favoring chaos and disorganization. It was baffling to her that any Greek demigods made it to adulthood, when their entire system seemed to revolve around crossing their fingers and hoping for the best. "Walk sounds great. And fuck the Greeks, they can wait. They probably have fifteen more songs about S'mores to sing anyways."
