Ezekiel Kel

Location: Arena -- Camp Half-Blood
Skills:

Ezekiel was vibrating and barely had time to fully appreciate that his fellow demi-gods were backing him up and were defending him before Nancy stepped in to defend the Romans. Which did not help the situation. His gaze turned on her and he met a fire that mirrored his own. It didn’t deter him, not her yelling, not her sarcastic sorry or even when her voice started to raise to deafening tones. Ezekiel took a step back, holding his hands to his ears but his glare didn’t lessen and her words only further proved his point. Not to mention the fact that she was now bringing a completely unrelated topic into the conversation to turn it around. That pissed Zeke off even more.
He regained his ground, stepping towards Nancy again and away from Demetri to retaliate when Niah stepped in to calm the situation down. Even as Madalyne laid into him, trying to intimidate him with her alpha stare, it didn’t fully register as Ezekiel’s emotions switched from anger to fear. Fear for himself and his family. And sadness, sadness that his half-sister didn’t come to him and that they were so divided.
They had shared things about their dreams, their past lives and how to fire an arrow several different ways but Zeke didn’t know her, not really and she didn’t know him. Not even a little bit.
Ezekiel didn’t even look at Madalyne, he could care less if she was a werewolf. Honestly, he didn’t think she was a monster for it and that was a completely different topic and would probably require a licensed psychiatrist to get her through that.
”That’s the problem Nanc. This is my business. It is all of our business,” he said addressing the entire camp with his hand. ”We were attacked as well, not just you. We should have been involved in solving the problem since this happened here. Chiron is right. We are being divided and your need to have a senate to hash out Roman things that involve the Greeks is not okay. Those prophecies aren’t just yours. Those prophecies weren’t just told to you or announced by a Roman prophet but a Greek one. Which doesn’t even matter since we are practically the same with the same parents. As for life expectancy, that is not our fault. That is the Gods who use us as playthings, so kindly redirect your anger away from us to them because it is their battles we are constantly being thrown into. Their prophecies we answer and if we don’t go, then other people get hurt. People who know nothing of the truth of this world.” Ezekiel was slouching now from the range of emotions that had coasted through him and trying to get Nancy and the others to understand that they can’t do things the way they used to. His eyes burned and he rubbed them, stepping back.
Those kids Nancy talked about, Ezekiel knew some of them, patched some of them or didn’t get the opportunity to. Ezekiel knew what it was like to hold a life in his hands and watch it slip away because he couldn’t save them. He shook his head and rubbed his face, exhausted and sighed.
”I shouldn’t have yelled but it got everyone’s attention and now you can talk it out. Just let me know if we are in this together or moving on separately.” He turned to leave, he wasn’t a leader. He wasn’t Chiron or a praetor or on some high council so his word didn’t count. Bryan entered the group asking who needed to be healed, Zeke didn’t even hesitate when he answered, not caring about his own injuries.
”Demetri,” he said before he walked back towards the campfire and towards Janelle’s group. It was probably a poor character move but Zeke was so drained and people already had their opinion on him so he didn’t care if walking away made him look bad.
”We might want to sit down, hopefully we’ll have a big conversation about what the hell is going on. Are you guys okay?” He asked the group. He hadn’t even noticed that some had been looking back where he had just been, having heard Nancy’s yelling.

Cassian Rudenko

Location: Camp Grounds

Skills:

Demetri hadn't expected Nancy to act the way she did. His hands went from his sides straight towards his ears as her voice boomed around the arena, hurting his ears and making his knees want to buckle beneath his own weight. Her words came like rolling waves, feeling every syllable through his body as it rattled inside his chest. He couldn't see the flames in her eyes, his back having been turned to her and facing Zeke, using his visage to muster the strength to stay here and fight, even with the tears beginning to form in his eye from the incredible sound.

Cassian didn't bother shielding his ears as Nancy blew up. He didn't wish to show any weakness, to give her even an inch of ground. He stared her down, matching the reflection of the flames in her eyes with a glint of purple flames in his. His hand never moved from his pipes as Nancy dangerously crossed a line with the child of Dionysus. He held a lot of pride for the children of the gods, regardless of how he acted towards them. Regardless of his resolve however, hebwas forced to place his hands up towards his ears in an attempt to block the sounds. Cass wanted to curse Nancy, to give her madness that reflected her anger. Fortunately for her, Noah had stepped in and used her voice to ease everyone down. Cassian felt his finger twitch on his weapon before his shoulders relaxed and he felt a lot of the tension drain from them.

Demetri didn't know what Niah was doing, but suddenly he didn't feel as tense. He didn't have the anxiety that was welling inside him as much. Nancy's booming voice had subsided and he was able to give his hands and ears a break for just a moment. He let out a sigh of relief before Madalyne threw in the news of her lycan curse. Demi's sigh got caught halfway in his throat. He didn't consider her answer by any means. But he knew it was his own father's doing that she now inherited it. Her words cut him like knives, as if she was blaming him for everything that was happening to her. He wanted to escape. Needed to escape. But Zeke had already said his piece and left, most others seemed to be by their friends or family and Demetri felt truly alone at that moment.

He looked towards Bryan when Zeke said Demi needed some healing. Shaking his head softly to tell him no before simply going to grab the box Zeke had tossed to the ground and tucking it beneath his arm as he made his way towards the fire. At this moment everyone seemed so at home surrounded by one another, he felt like an outsider. Even Zeke had gone and sought comfort with someone else leaving him alone. So Demi searched for a spot where he wouldn't bother anyone, sat down, and remained quietly in his own head.

"Your curse is unfortunate that's for sure. But you're not destined to die in The Pit. Prophecies can be changed, or have hidden meanings that we don't understand yet. Your journey may not end there, it may just be beginning. So while I understand your reasoning for not having told us of the Eidelons, it doesn't excuse your entire camp. You have runners and messengers for that very reason. It takes only but a second and could easily save lives." Cassians tone was flat and very matter of factly. It was sure he felt sorry for Mady but her excuse didn't excuse the rest of the Romans who were now more and more showing how big of a threat they were to Camp Half-Blood. "I wouldn't mind making an oath right now to ensure secrets aren't kept anymore." He eyed Niah, as if to gauge how she felt about his proposition.

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Arena
Skills: N/A

Janelle instantly covered her ears when she heard Nancy's yelling, as the sounds started pressing in on her, it made it really difficult to even hear or understand what the others were saying near her. The sound was way too loud, and the problem for her was that sound was her main way of seeing the world. Without it, or without being able to hear properly, she truly was blind and having difficulty being able to move around. The sound made her stay put, not even moving at all with all of the noise.

Nancy was getting pretty loud, actually that entire argument over there was getting really loud. Though in all honesty he hadn't been paying too much attention to them, that is until the sound started getting even louder, and he noticed that Janelle had more of a reaction to it and was covering her ears. "Janey? An bhfuil tú ceart go leor? Glac anáil dhomhain agus beidh sé ceart go leor..." he said to her, though he wasn't too sure how much of his words she could actually hear, he was a bit concerned.

"Is breá liom Jason, ná bíodh imní ort." she managed to say, taking a deep breath and looking up at him now.

"Ceart go leor, má deir tú amhlaidh," he said with a smile, before he turned to look towards Jace as he was coming around and waking up. This was an instant of where he wished that Jace had stayed knocked out longer since this was going to be an interesting conversation. "Yeah, well de entire situation was weird... What all do you remember? Sence one minute you were talkin wit us, and literally two secahnds later you were attackin us ahr whatever." he ended up asking Jace.

Hearing vaguely Zeke's voice speak up, Janelle turned to look at him as he spoke about them likely needing to try and figure things out. "I'm alright, just... Everythin is way too loud fahr me dough right now..." she said simply to Zeke, only removing her hands from her ears slightly so she could fully hear and understand what was being said, but still not enough to hopefully not have sound blasting her eardrums.

Things went from bad to worse with the entire situation rather quickly all things considering. Mary was remaining somewhat calm, even with everyone yelling like that. Nancy amplifying the sounds around them wasn't helping, and her ears were more or less pounding from the sounds. She actually was able to see the arguments from both sides as to what all had happened, and in truth, that was what she had been trying to hear and figure out before most of the people started exploding and yelling with regards to everything. Part of her really wanted to snap at everyone for yelling and to tell them all to shut up with regards to everything.

"Okay, how about everyone calms down alright? Look, this situation is messed up, and I agree, whoever is behind this is after dividing us and causing conflict alright? And Cassian, I don't think it's fair to fully ask for them to tell us literally everything. Each individual person has secrets or things they want to hide and not share, seriously I doubt you'd share every little thing with everyone, you shouldn't be sitting there asking for everything like that. The big important things like what just happened then yes, I agree. She shouldn't have had to tell you that she was a werewolf for you to understand that some secrets need to be kept..." she said calmly, before turning to look at Nancy and taking a deep breath again, "I'm sorry for all of the yelling... Emotions are running high, and people could have ended up dead, I know you all have other things that you have to do, I mean you two are the leaders for the Romans, so obviously you had other things to handle... This entire situation and lack of communication could have been handled differently, but I can see how things ended up playing out the way they did." she was staying relatively calm as she spoke, more or less trying to either calm the situation, or at least not make it worse.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena
Skills: N/A

Nancy didn't appreciate her emotions being messed with, even though she knew the situation was getting out of control. If it had been anyone other than Niah who had done that, it would've been the start of a long grudge. She hoped Mads didn't regret sharing her secret with the Greeks - and Nancy almost wished Mads had kept it to herself. It would've made it easier for Nancy's secret deal with Apollo to be kept under wraps, as her father made her promise to not tell anyone about him going to her half-brother to get a cure for Mads made. Nancy snorted slightly as Chiron said that all of this was devised by someone wanting to create a rift. "Uh huh," she said. She didn't buy it. Things were always like this with the Greeks anyways.

Ezekiel continued to argument, and had Niah's forced calm not been in effect, Nancy would've exploded at him again. "If you had listened, the eidolon we encountered was non-violent. We weren't attacked. There was no attack to report to you. And I'm not apologizing for us meeting to approve the quests with the Senate without you all. If that's going to be a problem, let me know now, and we'll be gone by first light." She had put the ball more or less in the Greeks court - if they continued to berate them for the Roman way of doing things, then this alliance was over. "And you, again, there was no attack to report, it was a non-violent possession, if you need a messenger for every little thing like that, then we expect the same in return... Wait, we did tell your messenger - the graecus who came to tell us about this meeting came to the Senate. We told him and asked him to tell Chiron since we would be delayed due to it."

At least the ginger seemed to be somewhat reasonable - although Nancy couldn't for the life of her remember her name. There were so many of them.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena
Skills: N/A

Leda's ears were ringing. "Guess the Real Housewives of New Rome just got renewed for another season," she commented, chuckling a little bit about Kiera's comment about Ares kids. From what she could tell, the screamer had been the Apollo girl, one of Rome's leaders. It made sense to Leda that Apollo's kids were over dramatic and easy to anger - take Zeke, for example. He loved to blow up over things and was generally not a great person to be around. She still couldn't believe she had actually gone on a quest with him and Kristin, the thought made her want to take a disinfecting bath. "Ten drachmas says a fight breaks out before the quests start?" Leda wagered.

She didn't particularly want to go on over there either. Thanks to the sound boost, she had heard the screaming words of the praetor - it seemed like there was just generic drama going on over there, people arguing about little things, and bringing up other things randomly in order to land more attacks. Leda's only motivation to potentially go on over would be in order to get the good gossip, but with everyone present, the gossip was going to spread easily anyways. And she could pretty much see everything happening from here. "Just peachy, thanks," she told Zeke as he came over, asking how they were. "You and your sis make a good show."

There wasn't much to say. She had her shoulder pressed against Arthur, and Chocolate on her lap. She did see Demi walk away from Mads and them and she was a bit relieved. The two of them weren't fighting so she wouldn't be caught in the middle of the two sides of her family fighting.

Andy waved Demi over, trying to get his attention for him to join her and Arthur. She felt like she hadn't seen much of him. The day had been emotionally exhausting and she didn't want to be involved in this fight. Andy was too torn for it. She hadn't known about the spirit thing that had been possessing people from either the Greeks or the Romans so to her, it all seemed blown out of proportion. "Demi, come sit with us." She said.

Location: Arena
Skills: Odikinesis

At least things hadn't come to blows yet. Her control over the group's emotion had been enough to keep things from that. She knew she wouldn't be a fan favorite after this. It was one of the reasons she didn't want to become Preator. She knew someone might say she was controlling a situation, like this one, and people don't like having their emotions controlled.

Nancy was right though. All this fighting was over something they had done. She looked to Chiron. "Did you get the message, or did it get lost between us and you?" She didn't remember the name of the Greek who had brought the message and hoped that Chiron knew who it had been. She hoped for their sake there was a really good reason why they didn't pass the message on.

She could feel her control over the emotions start to slip and everyone's anger rising again. She gulped and pulled again claiming everyone back down. She didn't know if she could keep this up, and now would be a really bad time for it to go south. She looked at Cassian and said, "That's a dangerous Oath to make. We weren't keeping the Eidolon secret. Are you guys even listening to us? We had an artifact stolen, no one was hurt. I bound that Eidolon to not possess anyone here."

Arthur Stanford

A perk of isolating himself from the shitshow that was happening over there was not having to deal with the stress, which Arthur appreciated, but the con was that he was now more detached from the goings on of the camp. He figured it could catch up in how own time, but he also needed to actually make friends that weren't Andy. He was firmly convinced that that was a problem for later, but it sat on the forefront of his mind. Maybe it was a teenager thing, and he just wasn't quite there yet, but all the drama seemed like a pointless thing for them to get caught up in when their lives were regularly put on the line.

Inviting Demi over seemed like the decent middle ground between his want to spend time with Andy and his need to be aware of what was happening with the people he lived with. Arthur nodded, and patted the ground next to him, he liked Demi, and would be more than happy to have him join them. "Yeah, we have a new puppy, we named him Chocolate, and you need to meet him." Arthur said, a completely serious tone in his voice, as he picked up the dog and held it towards Demi, thinking it would take borderline superhuman amounts of self control to resist the siren call of a puppy.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena.
Skills: N/A

Jace looked towards Jason and gave a slight shrug. "I honestly don't remember, I was talking to you guys, then a cold sensation and then darkness, and then waking up on the floor." Jace answered his half brother honestly, taking a moment to look over at where the Roman leaders were still talking. "Did I miss anything?" He asked out of curiosity, Kristin took a moment to answer some of the questions. "Lauryn, and Zeke got possessed by an Eidolon and attacked each other. And then the Romans came over to tell them what was going on and what happened earlier." Kristin answered.

Kristin looked over at Zeke and nodded slightly, other than hearing Nancy pretty much yelling she got the feeling that the Roman Praetor was mad for some kind of reason. "Are you alright Zeke?" Kristin asked mainly out of curiosity she watched Stella she looked a bit distressed as well when Eva came over towards her half sister and gently rested a hand on the younger girl's shoulder. "Are you alright, Stella, whats the matter?" Eva asked Stella. Kristin looked over at Leda and then Kiera as she made her comment and shook her head slightly at the reality show joke.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena
Skills: N/A

"It's what season two now of that show?" Kiera asked looking over towards Leda as she joked towards her refering it to the show like they had seen during their journey to New Rome on the Argo III. Things seemed to calm down now by the looks of it, but still Kiera got the sense that things were pretty tense at the moment. Kiera eyed the Romans who were gathered they more or less had seated themselves and were talking amongst each other while still eyeing the Greeks.

"So what exactly happened that you pissed off your Roman half sister Zeke?" Kiera asked looking over at him, she was really curious why Nancy had snapped at him, loud enough for the whole entire camp to actually hear. She watched as the Hecate cabin kids were gathering up and started talking amongst each other and got her curious as to what they were doing as well to before turning her attention to her girlfriend. "I'd totally take that bet if they start fighting again." Kiera said to Leda.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena

Chiron turned his attention towards Cassian, oaths were serious things to make and werent to be taken lightly at all and shook his head towards him agreeing with Niah on that. "Oaths aren't to be taken lightly at all, and I don't think promising anyone to keep a secret would be wise at all." Chiron told him while turning his attention over towards Nancy. "You are welcome to remain here for as long as you need to, and I'll make sure that the peace will be kept personally." Chiron started to think for a moment if the messenger had come to him or not and shook his head slightly, something must have happened unless an Eidolon had managed to get their hands on the messenger.

"I don't think I did unfortunately. Since the Ediolons are here, they may have possessed them and prevented the message from coming through." Chiron said, he then started to think of something that both parties would be willing to work with before speaking. "I would suggest one or two Greeks and one or two Romans to act as a liaison, one Greek stays with the Romans and attend any meetings that your senate has, and one Roman will attend any meetings that the head cabin councilors all have." Chiron suggested that way things won't get as lost.

Madalyne was much calmer now as she looked towards Mary and apologized, she looked down for a moment and then over towards Nancy before speaking. "I'm sorry as well to for my outburst as well to, and I totally understand." Madalyne said she then turned towards Cassian crossing her arms over her chest, as much as she wanted to believe that she was pretty sure that what happens in a Prophecy you can't change ones fate at all. "I'm not so sure, sadly in my experience prophecies aren't able to be changed." Madalyne said sighing slightly while looking at them all. "If it's possible could we get this meeting started?" Madalyne asked Chiron, as he turned towards the others. "Unless theres something else we should talk about we should get the meeting started then." Chiron said.

Stella looked up when Eva put her hand on her shoulder and then she sniffled a bit as she tried to think of what to say. She couldn't just lie and say she was alright when it was clear that she was far from that. She sighed a bit at that as she took a deep breath and then looked up at her older half-sister. "I'm not alright. Is... Is what that girl saying true? Do the Greek kids usually... do we not make it past eighteen really?" She spoke softly as she looked at Eva, silently hoping it wasn't true. It couldn't be true. There had to be demi-gods that lived full lives right? She knew from earlier that someone had mentioned that some of the founding fathers were demi-gods and they had all lived past eighteen.

"Eva... I don't get it... I thought they said that by being here I would be safe and trained to not end up dead. I just... I don't understand. I don't understand why everyone is so upset and angry, and my ears are ringing now." Stella reached up and rubbed her ears a bit, and then whimpered a bit. They were indeed ringing from earlier, from the young woman's yelling. "Is there still cocoa somewhere, because if there is I would love some now please." She sighed a bit at that as she rubbed her ears again softly.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Arena -- Camp Half-Blood

"Not in the least Kris,” he said. He used a new nickname for Kristin, having never used it before so wasn’t sure how she would react to it. He looked at Leda after frowning at Kiera for her asking him what he did to piss off his Roman half-sister.
”What did I do? I yelled at them for not telling us they had already interacted with an Eidolon and so she decided to yell back at me, saying they thought the girl they had that got possessed did it on purpose, like that would be any better, then she proceeded to criticize us for not being serious and sending people to their death before they are eighteen. And that we are no better because we don’t tell them every little detail that happens here. Not that much has happened since they’ve been here and they were on the other side of the country. Apparently, them covering their asses was more important than the fact that Demi and I were attacked and then I nearly killed Demetri when I was possessed,” he said, holding his still cut up arms for evidence and nodding towards Demetri who could be seen sitting by the fire. ”Then Niah calmed us down, Nancy said they sent a messenger but Chiron never got it so that’s another problem that needs solving. Then I came over here to check in with the only family I really know, since the Romans made it pretty clear that the only reason they are here is because they had nowhere else to go.” Ezekiel crossed his arms and kicked the ground underneath him.
Ezekiel was still clearly very frustrated and needed to vent out the conversation from earlier. Of course, his was the paraphrased version but he tried to explain both sides of the conversation as much as his tired mind and soul would allow. He just really didn’t feel like being yelled at more and hoped they, Kristin and Leda specifically, didn’t tease him too much for calling them family. They fought and spilled blood together after all. How much more family could one get in this world?

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Camp Grounds away from fire

Demi stared down at the shadows that pooled around his feet. Watching as they flickered and shook with the constant blaze of the fire. Emotions were beginning to run high, and much like his shrinking shadow, there felt as if there was less and less space that he was allowed to take up. A knot began forming in his throat, he'd had this conversation with Zeke before, told him about how he feels unwanted; the anxiety that eats away at him from the inside out. A massive part of him felt that tonight had only proved it. Demetri could practically hear the raspy cold voice of the Eidelon whispering in his ear. Telling him that he was right, that he wasn't good enough.

Tears started swelling in his eyes, when he heard Andy call to him and made him look up. Arthur was there, patting the floor before holding up a puppy. Demi couldn't help but chuckle at the display before standing up and making his way over to the small group. There were trails of tears that stained his cheeks, a hint of red making its way around the rim of his eyes. Chocolate. That's cute" he said in between sniffles. As he went to sit on the ground, he glanced over towards Zeke, seeing how he was doing before averting his attention back towards Andy and Arthur. There was a long sigh, he tried not to worry the pair, or show them any weakness that may make their faith waver. "So, how were your days? I feel like I haven't seen you two in hours and suddenly you have a dog?"

Cassian Rudenko

Location: Camp Grounds
Skills:

Cassian wanted nothing more than to shove a bushel of apples into Nancy Parkers mouth. It was like she only heard half the words spoken to allow herself to continue to hear her own voice. Sure the Romans ruled by senate, but did she love debate so much that she refused to see the other side of the coin for no other sake than to argue? When she mentioned being gone by first light, all he could think of was good ridden. Nothing good had come about since the Romans had arrived to camp, and he felt the tensions between the two factions grow. What's more it was almost as if everyone had missed the part in which he had mentioned the idea of these invisible hands pulling strings to pull the two groups apart. But then again, when Chiron voices his opinion it will always be the loudest in the room.

Cassian was about to roll his eyes at Nancy when she suddenly faltered in her speech. As if for just a moment her tongue had allowed her to have a moment to actually think for a spell. It was then they finally brought to light a very important detail that had seemingly been overlooked due to the high emotions and strangled tension between the two parties. A messenger was sent, yet no notice was actually given to the Greeks nor Chiron. So...where was this mysterious envoy? Cassian waited with baited breath for Chiron to answer before responding to anyone. When he finally spoke, Cass let out a sigh. "It appears these new visitors from beyond the pit are proving to be more meddlesome than we even realised. Stolen artifact, attempt at murder, allowing for miscommunication to lead to strife..."

Cassian thought on for a moment, his hands no longer idling by his weapon as he thought of the events. "As one of the children of Dionysus, the being who runs this camp, I suppose I could volunteer to sit in with our cousins and keep a watchful ear and eye. I'll also try to check in with the Hecate cabin and see if there aught they can do to help. Niah, are there any Roman counterparts to Hecates cabin? And do your ranks have any amongst them? The more mystics we can have at hand the better I feel." He tapped his finger against his chin for a moment, thinking, before turning a sorrowful look towards Madalyne. "I'm so4ry you feel that way. I however do not, and thus I will keep an ear out for any sign that I may be able to help you avoid such fates or better yet, remove your affliction. There's a first for everything after all. But I agree, perhaps we should get this meeting underway. Everyone's staring."

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Arena
Skills: N/A

Janelle was rather glad when the loud noise suddenly disappeared which was great over all. At least there wasn't just a loud sound in her ears anymore, though Zeke more or less going on a bit of a rant now about what all had happened with the yelling wasn't exactly helping her out all too much. There was several reasons why she didn't really like yelling, namely the fact that it messed with her ears a bit and her sense of hearing was kind of sensitive, and being around a bunch of people who didn't really have a volume control, or just fighting in general if she couldn't truly help it.

Jason looked at his half-brother as he more or less explained the very little stuff that he knew about what happened. Everything had happened without him having any sort of control over it, so he wasn't going to hold it against him, for the most part anyway. Though he wasn't sure he'd fully forgive him for hurting his little sister, no matter how accidental it was. It was just something that was going to stick with him for a little while. "It's alright, no 'ard feelengs about it," he said with a shrug to him in response.

His attention turned towards Zeke as he more or less started going on a bit of a rant with regards to what had happened with the Romans and what all the yelling had been about. Well, that was definitely something to think about, all things considering, that apparently something like that had happened with the other group or whatever. He personally still wasn't all too sure why there was so much tension between the Greeks and the Romans, so he wondered if past things played a part in the whole yelling and going off on each other.

Listening to what was said, Janelle nodded her head, though she did have a bit of a request as she finally sort of removed her hands from her ears. "Well, glad to 'ear dat de whahle situation is kend o' dealt wit den right? And do you dink we can tone down de voices ahr whatever... Me ears are stell ringin frahm de yellin match dat 'appened over dere..." she ended up saying. Which was the truth, too much yelling and all and whatever it was that the one Roman girl had done when she had been yelling, oh the fun times that was her heightened hearing.

Well, this whole argument was getting them absolutely nowhere, that was for sure. At least Zeke had removed himself from the situation, so damage control could be a little bit better then right? Well, turns out that it wasn't exactly either camps fault for the miscommunication, since the messenger had to have been intercepted on their way back from the Romans to them. Which was clearly the problem now, and everything was going to end worse if people kept sitting there yelling at each other. Hopefully things would calm down a bit now right?

Mary listened to what was being said now, and the suggestions about who to have go to the Romans stuff and all. She couldn't help but make a face at Cassian's suggestion of himself, all because he was Mr. D's kid. "Cassian, going to be blunt, I feel like that would be the best reason for it to not be you. Since I don't think it would be the best idea for the kids of the god who is around camp constantly to be there... It's up to them who they'd feel comfortable letting over, I'm offering too to go or whatever, but it is up to them. However they need time to think about it, and there are a few more pressing issues to deal with now... I'm all for the meeting getting started and all..."

"I don't think they are listening to us," Nancy commented, as Niah asked that very question. Her emotions were being tugged down into a state of calm again, but that wasn't enough to keep Nancy from acting a little bit petty. She could be petty without being angry. Case in point, she was petty enough to not have much faith in Chiron when he claimed he would personally keep the peace. From what she had seen, he was pretty bad at his job. Unlike Madalyne, Nancy didn't offer an apology. She stood by the things she had said. "No objections from me, let's get this bullshit over with."

Her eyes then widened slightly as one of the Bacchus kids - well, Dionysus - volunteered to sit in on the Senate. "No. Not you. Zeke can sit in," Nancy said instantly, her tone tough. She had a deathly fear of Bacchus, barely being able to overcome it in order to interact with her old friend, Em. She also found Cassian insufferable. She wouldn't have been surprised if he was Leandra's soulmate. "Or Ginger. She's fine." Nancy had zero idea what the girl's name was, but she had rebuked Cassian, so Nancy was fine with her - for now.

"It's at least season two, maybe even season three, bet they've got plenty of material for it," Leda agreed. She noticed the Hecate campers starting to get up to something and Leda tilted her head, slightly curious - and slightly unnerved. Ever since her break up with Rebecca, she had been a little wary of her ex's siblings. She wouldn't have been shocked if any of them tried to slip something into her tea - it seemed very much on brand. Zeke's recap of the latest drama though definitely caught Leda's attention and none of it was particularly shocking. "They're Romans, what'd you expect?" Leda asked bluntly. "They're a bunch of stuck up pricks who think they're better than us, they always have."

She made a face though when Zeke said that they were family. They technically were, thanks to Gaia, the great-grandparent the two of them had in common. But Leda never thought about anyone aside from the Iris campers as being family - otherwise, dating got really really messy. She and Kiera were technically related on the godly side as well. "Did you just call us family? Did you hit your head or something?" she asked. She was used to Zeke being antagonistic - not... soft and frustrated. "Oof, sorry to hear that, do you need some meds?" she then asked Janelle.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Arena
Skills: N/A

Arthur gave Demi a hug as he joined the group, and thrust Chocolate forcibly into his arms. He forced a laugh at his commend, and pulled his legs in, sitting in a kind of ball shape. "I mean, Andy and I...." Arthur started to say, before trailing off, his voice catching a little. "We're uh, not gonna be able to stay together for the coming mission, and that's hard." Arthur said, clearly holding off his emotions. "So, the universe decided to gift us a puppy, which... yeah, makes things a little better. He just kinda showed up? Very cute dog." Arthur said, diverting his feelings by thinking about Chocolate.

He shrugged and said, "So, what's going on in your world? you look like you've been better." He commented, seeing the redness of his eyes. He'd clearly been crying too, so today just generally not going well for everyone, apparently. He figured whatever the commotion was related back to why Demi was upset, but he really hadn't been paying attention to any of the details. If he could get a rundown from Demi, that would honestly be ideal, rather than having to sift through second hand accounts from others later. Besides, hopefully talking through it would help make Demi feel better.

Andy would have had to be blind to not see that Demi was upset. She had no idea how to make him feel better. Andy was going to ask if Demi wanted to hold Chocolate, but Arthur made the choice for him. She smiled, it was a sad smile. "He's really sweet." As for the question about their day she frowned. There was a lot to talk about. She didn't know where to start. Arthur covered some of it.

"Today has been hard. Aunt Mads is going to get hurt, but I am determined to help her." The day felt so long. Apollo had been there that morning and melted the snow and ruined her snowman and that was just the beginning of everything that had gone wrong. Though she and Arthur had had fun practicing with the marbles. She hadn't had a chance to look at the book, but she would that night before going to sleep. "But yeah what has you upset? Is it just the fight with the Romans?"

Niah was relieved it hadn't come to blows. She had still expected it to. "It should be someone as neutral as possible. I think Mary is a good choice." She knew Andy wouldn't be neutral, and she was a little kid still. She knew Nancy wouldn't be neutral around Cassian considering his lineage.

"You have the floor now Chiron, please, let us move on from this and discuss the future." She told him and stepped over to where the rest of the Romans had gathered. She let her hold on everyone's emotions drop and hoped it was the right choice.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena.
Skills: N/A

Eva looked at Stella for a moment seeing the girl upset about everything that had been going on and the arguing with the Romans and gave Stella another gentle hug, as she thought about a way to answer her question. "The camp is a lot safer for us and is protected as well to, if you are outside of camp without the proper training survival isn't the best." Eva answered as she looked at Stella, knowing that she had family back home as well to.

Usually it was risky if they did choose to leave camp during the school year usually is when monsters ended up getting the younger demigods. "Just train as hard as you can, and you'll live through anything that comes at you if you leave the camp grounds for whatever reason." Eva told her as she watched Chiron and the others starting to come in, the meeting was about to start pretty soon. "I'll give you some once this is all over and we can relax." Eva told her.

Kristin turned to Zeke when he called her Kris, which was a bit surprising since he always called her something like 'smarty pants' or 'miss know it all'. But she didn't really mind the shortened version of her name, her half-siblings always did after all as well as some of her friends at camp did as well to. Kristin didnt really mind the Roman's being here they usually did do their own thing and the Greeks did their own thing as well. She sometimes did spar and got to know some of them as well to as she looked up at Zeke and got up and gave him a slight hug when he said he almost killed Demi because of the Eidolon. "I'm sorry that happened to you is Demi doing alright?" Kristin asked looking at Demi as he went to hangout with Arthur and Andy.

Kirstin watched as Chiron made his way over towards Annabelle and was talking to her, and the Hecate cabin started working on some sort of spell by the looks of it, probably to get rid of the Eidolon's in the area or something like that as Chiron made his way back to the center with Rosie and Alexandra the Roman's augur was there as well to now. Her attention turned back towards Janelle and smiled towards her and nodded. "I'll make sure that I won't yell really close to you if you are close by you have my word." Kristin told her.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena
Skills: N/A

Kiera felt bad after hearing what had happened to Zeke and Demi after the Eidolon attack, she wasnt sure what they really did all the time in their little portion of the camp. "Seems like they kind of are always stuck in their own little world or something." Kiera said looking over towards Zeke as she watched Kristin giving him a hug, she knew that the two of them didnt really get along all that well. Kiera rubbed her arm a little bit getting feeling back in her arm again which was good. "If you want to talk about anything else you are welcome to talk to me anytime Zeke." Kiera offered towards him, she wasnt much of a therapist but she was more than willing to help out in someway that she could.

Nancy's yelling was pretty loud as she looked at Janelle knowing that she had better hearing than most people in the camp did, due to her blindless. "I wont do any kind of yelling either when you are close by." Kiera told her as Jace slowly got up to his feet and looked towards Jason. "I'll be by our cabin mates." Jace told him he was glad that he had been forgiven he really felt bad for hurting the two of them as he went to sit back down with the other kids of Ares.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena
Skills:

Madalyne was calm now as she looked down and took in a deep breath as she listened to Chiron's offer, she was fine with it by tomorrow morning she wouldn't be a Praetor anymore and would just be a regular member of the Legion which she was kind of looking forward to. She wasn't sure how the Greeks conducted their business really as she looked at Cassian offering to be the Greek's liaison for the Roman's. His reasoning wasnt the best sounding to her and sounded a lot like nepotism to her, it really wasnt her place but decided to speak up. She knew that the Greeks did have some form of leadership aside from Chiron and Mr. D and Rosie as well before Chiron spoke up.

"Unfortunately Cassian that isnt how that will work but you and Mary and whoever else can add their name in and I'll host a head counselor meeting in the Big House. And they can vote on who to pick in the morning, and you can choose who you wish to work with us." Chiron said as he looked towards Madalyne, Nancy and Niah waving for them to follow him back to the arena.

Madalyne turned to look at Cassian for a moment asking about any other magic users in the Legion. "Theres Trivia but we separate our siblings and mix them into the five cohorts we'll get them to help out." Madalyne said as she went over and sat down with the rest of the Legion and leaned forward closing her eyes and sighed a little bit.

Chiron then stood up, and everyone's attention turned towards him as Rosie as she stood up and addressed the crowd. "Earlier today we have received not one but three quests today by our Oracle Rosie, and the Roman's augur." Chiron gestured towards Rosie and pointed to where Alexandra was before speaking once more. "If you think you were mentioned in the quest stand up."

"To find the sword, the cursed, the storm, the garden, enter the maze one shall fall to the pit, and defeat the bane of fates."

"To find the trident, the child of the sea, rainbow, and the dead must enter the depths to find the lord of the sea and with the camp of the sea."

"To find the bolt, the child of the flower, war and oaths, one must save the God of Boundaries, carrying the weight of the sky in the seat of power of the titans."

Stella hugged Eva softly at that point as her older sister hugged her and then she pulled back and looked up at her as she spoke. She sniffled a bit and seemed to start calming down as she assured her that the camp were safe and that they would be trained so that they could survive the childhood and teenagehood of being a demi-god. They got trained how to survive out there with the monsters that might chase them or hunt them.

She nodded when Eva said that if she trained as hard as she could, she probably would survive. She saw Chiron and the others walked back into the arena and then nodded when Eva said that she would get some cocoa once this meeting was all over. She did look up when Chiron said that they had gotten some quests, and then was mentioned that if you though you had been mentioned to stand up. The first didn't sound like her, unless she was the garden, but that didn't make sense. The second, well... no way. Sea, rainbow or dead? She did hear the last one and paused. Child of the flower... well between that and garden, Stella found herself standing up against her common sense.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Arena -- Camp Half-Blood
Skills: Healing;

”Well, not really Janelle but I guess we’ll see what decision Chiron came to,” he said and frowned a little. Nancy’s yelling had been projected for the entire camp to hear, of course some would have been affected more intensely.
”Sorry, Janelle. I could try and help,” he offered, keeping his voice lower this time around. He rested a gentle hand on her shoulder and his hand began to glow as his power seeped beneath the layers of skin and muscle. Ezekiel shut his eyes as the power flowed up to Janelle’s ears and wrapped around her ear drums to soothe the sensitivity and stress they had been put under. Ezekiel pulled his hand away after, smiling a little because he healed her. At least that he could do.
Leda spoke up about the Romans’ being stuck up and Zeke shoved his hands into his pockets. Perhaps Ezekiel’s judgment had been clouded about the Romans’ because he met Nancy and maybe all of this felt worse because Nancy was involved. Whatever it was, Ezekiel would have to let it go. He looked at Leda when she asked if hit his head and he chuckled a little, shrugging.
”Maybe.” Family came in all shapes and sizes and everyone that stood around Ezekiel in this moment and those who had backed him a short while ago, were Ezekiel’s family. He had always felt some sort of connection with certain members’ and a certain belonging at Camp Half-Blood but if any good was going to come out of the earlier fight, at least it was this. At least it showed Zeke that he did have people who cared, even if he was the camp shithead.
Kristin surprised him most though by getting up and giving him a slight hug before stepping back. Ezekiel hugged her from the side, comforted but also reminded that even though Kristin was annoying, she had been his first friend here. She was at least good at introducing herself to the new people and making them feel welcome. She asked about Demetri though and how he was doing and a deep, gross feeling filled the pit of Ezekiel’s stomach. Shame filled him as he looked up, finding Demetri sitting with Andy and Arthur. He didn’t actually know how Demetri was doing. Ezekiel had been so wrapped up in his own personal guilt, he didn’t even check in with the demi-god he nearly killed.
”I’m not entirely sure,” he confessed. ”I asked Bryan to heal him though….” He’d have to find Demetri to check in. At least if he did that, he’d know how Demetri was and if Zeke got chewed out for nearly killing him, well then Zeke might feel a little better.
Chiron wandered past them to speak with the Hecate cabin and Ezekiel tried to relax. Hopefully, no one else would have to deal with an Eidolon attack tonight. Ezekiel took a seat near Janelle and the others when Chiron started to address the camp on the prophecies spoken earlier.
Ezekiel tried to listen to them as clearly as he could but his mind kept wandering. He started drumming his fingers on his leg and knee in an effort to stay concentrated. His mom used to joke about getting him into piano lessons because of how much he did it. Little did he know, it was simply because he was a demi-god and his mind and body were constantly in overdrive.
From what he gathered; the prophecies didn’t involve him this time. The second one he guessed would involve a child of Poseidon, Iris and Hades. He glanced at Kiera and Leda, wondering if the new “it” couple would tag team it.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Camp Grounds away from fire
Skills:

Demi held the dog in much the same way one who'd never held a newborn would hold a newborn baby. He stared at the strange creature for a moment, letting himself get lost in its eyes before Arthur's voice snapped him back from the edge of his dissociation. He began to pet the dog behind its ears as he looked towards Andy and Arthur. Whatever these prophecies were...they were chosen and thus had to be separated. It wasn't fair, how could the fates do something so cruel to two kids. Granted, they were all kids, but these two…

"Maybe you two could give each other some of the other? Back when my parents would go abroad and I had to stay behind, my mom would often give me something of hers. A sweater, necklace, ring, something tangible. So that at night, when I felt alone and looked up towards the sky, I could hold it close and remember we were still looking up at the same moon. Almost as if she was still there with me." Demetri's hand drifted towards his bag, feeling an old Polaroid camera encased in leather. The self same camera his mother used to show him their travels and what they'd visited. He'd thought about asking the pair to take a selfie with him. The technology should've been low tech enough that monsters wouldn't pick it up, but before he could suggest it he felt his beanie slip off his head, catching it behind his back.

Demi couldn't help but smile as he held onto it. A part of him wished it was Aphrodite's doing, telling him that Zeke was there too. That he still cared and simply needed some time. Demi placed the beanie back onto his head, deciding now wasn't the best time for a Polaroid and that they'd soon have an occasion to want to take one. "As for what's going on with me? Not a whole lot. Spent the morning helping out some of the other campers, by the time it was time for the fire I figured I could ask help with this." he said as he pulled out the bronze eye before continuing. "But then Lauryn got possessed and attacked me and Zeke, then he got possessed and tried to kill me, and then worst of all Nancy started yelling and…" Demi had a bit of a far off look for a moment before he continued forward. "I don't handle yelling well. That's all. And as much as Zeke's an asshole...he seems so shaken up by the experience I kinda feel bad for him."

Demi's expression hardened for a second, in between serious and joking. "Tell anyone I said that and you'll get wet Willie's for a week, got it?" He stuck his tongue out at the pair trying to liven the mood a bit. Unfortunately Chiron had other plans, finally making his way to revealing what they had all been waiting for.

Cassian Rudenko

Location: Camp Grounds
Skills:

Mary's reasoning didn't make sense to him. Why shouldn't the child of the god whose governing over camp be the one overseeing their visitors? You wouldn't ask a guest to oversee another guest, you'd ask your family. Before he was able to make any form of rebuttal, Nancy had spoken up and swiftly denied his aid. Cassian couldn't help but notice as her eyes went wide and her tone shifted to a sterner note. In that instant he was able to gleam quite a bit about the Roman leader, child of Apollo. Whatever issue she had with him didn't start with him, it stemmed from his father.

Cassian's lips pursed, feeling a sting he knew all too well. While his lineage had afforded him some friends amongst the woodland creatures, there were no few others who strayed from his path lest his father turn them to dolphins or something ridiculous to that sense. He took a calculated step back. "I can tell when I'm not wanted for one reason or another. It was merely a suggestion, nothing more. And, thank you Madaylne I'm sure that would be immensely helpful." Cassian turned in place and found his way over toward the other children of Dionysus. Sitting quietly by them as he awaited Chirons news. When it finally came time, Cass leaned forward resting his elbows onto his knees as he listened intently. For a moment he thought he was in the prophecy, but it didn't sit right. They had called for two children of Demeter however. Now how was flower power to sit in on Roman meetings if she was off on a quest?

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Arena
Skills: N/A

"Ahh, it's just me mahre ahr less bein sensitive to everythin, nahthin mahre den dat. Loud noises just bug me mahre den it would ahthers sence I use me 'earin as me main sense to interact wit de wahrld. While mahst people use deir sight," she explained rather simply with a bit of a shrug. It wasn't exactly anyone's fault really, it was just why she didn't care too much for anyone arguing, and why she typically preferred to avoid arguments in any sort of form. It was something that she was used to, and for the most part she learned to deal with it.

Jason was pretty used to Janelle having to give these sort of explanations to other people, it was sadly fairly common for them, but there wasn't much that they could do about it. He more or less just listened in on what all was being said between the group, as the conversation continued around what all had just happened. Jason's attention got drawn away again now, this time more or less by what was being said with regards to the quests or whatever that had been mentioned, this should be interesting to say the least.

"Dank you Zeke," Janelle said to him with a smile, now that her head wasn't really pounding anymore. That was always a nice thing, and she turned her attention towards Chiron and what was being said. Well, she was glad that it didn't sound like she was going to be going on one of the quests again. That last one had been an interesting one to say the least, and she wasn't too sure about going off on another one so soon. She wanted to have some time to potentially relax a little bit, but she wasn't too sure if even at the camp that would really be possible.

Listening to the prophecies, he thought about who all was likely mentioned and involved in this sort of thing. One thing he was grateful for, was the fact that Janelle didn't seem to be involved in any way at all, so that was nice. Though the prophecies were insanely vague with regards to who they were going on about. Actually, most of them literally could refer to more then one person, and it made it incredibly confusing as to who would be involved for the most part. Though one did mention a child or war, well that's just great, it kind of mentioned him. Maybe it didn't? Hell, it probably did, "Well dis'll be fun," he muttered as he stood up.

Marygold Isley

Location: The Arena
Skills: N/A

Mary shrugged a bit with the conversation. In her opinion it shouldn't be the Head Counselors for the cabins deciding who sits in with the Romans. After all, because relations weren't the best between the two groups, it made more sense to have the Romans choose a Greek who they thought would be alright to work with. Someone that they can tolerate and be fine having around on a daily basis. While the head counselors should be the ones to choose who sits in with them from the Romans side. That way made more sense, and made everything fair with how things should work. Though she chose not to voice these opinions out loud. Instead, she went to take a seat to hear what all was going on now.

The prophecies were insanely vague, not to mention the fact that there were a few instances that could refer to multiple different people, or gods really. That kind of was a bit strange or something, but that didn't really matter apparently right now, since they were more or less asking for volunteers, again really. Mary listened, and noticed that two of them seemed to refer to children of Demeter. She wasn't a hundred percent certain, since she could see how they might also fall under other gods maybe, but she decided to take a gamble that it was referring to Demeter, and she stood up, figuring that if she went on the quest, cool, if she didn't that'd be fine with her too.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena
Skills: N/A

Nancy felt the shackles Niah had placed on her emotions drop away and her anger flared back up inside of her. She hated that they weren't going to get input on what Greek would come and monitor them - if they sent one of the Bacchus kids on over, Nancy was determined to refuse their presence. Hopefully her new co-praetor's inherent connection to luck would come in handy and they wouldn't get someone who made Nancy want to gag herself with a spoon. Nancy glared at the Bacchus kid for another moment, before going and sitting down next to Madalyne and Niah and the rest of the Legion. They still needed to tell the Legion about the change in leadership, although she imagined that word would've spread by now.

Chiron recited the prophecies and Nancy's mood only worsened. She didn't want to hear them again. She didn't want to dwell on the terrible fate that awaited one of her closest friends - a fate she was hoping that they could avert, but she was at the same time feeling pessimistic. All the great heroes' stories ended in tragedy. And as much as she didn't want it to be so, Mads had all the makings of a great, tragic hero. Having people just sign up if they felt it referred to them was irritating, mostly as it wasn't the Roman way to do things.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena
Skills: N/A

Leda had to resist the urge to barf as two of her least favorite people, Kris and Zeke, hugged. She wouldn't have been surprised to see those two get together one day - even though she was pretty sure their combined awfulness would trigger the destruction of the world. Not even the gods would be strong enough to save them from that fate. Even her girlfriend was being nice and offering sympathy and aid to Zeke, volunteering her own time to play therapist. Leda was on the other hand a bit too faced and selfish - she didn't want to help Zeke with his emotional issues, as she didn't feel connected to him like that. She'd help him kill a monster, but that was pretty much as far as things really went between them.

Things then finally got started, with Chiron reciting the prophecies. As much as Leda knew she ought to be terrified, an electric thrill went through her - she was finally going to get to go out into the world and do what she did best: hacking monsters to death with her sword. She also got to do it with her girlfriend, something she found extremely hot. Leda stood up, as if daring any of her siblings to try to claim rainbow as referring to them.
