Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Camp Grounds
Skills:

Demetri went to pull the box in a little closer as Zeke frowned towards him. There was an unsettling amount of room for it to move when he noticed the shadows shifting and that they were now formed over by Arthur. Chocolate clearly knew a few tricks, though the brief anxiety it gave Demetri would linger for a moment longer. He wasn't sure what to think. Sure. Zeke was here asking him if he was ok, how he was doing, but it felt more like an afterthought than a real concern. His hand clutched the box tightly, hearing the wood creak slightly from the pressure. He took in a deep breath, held it, and let it out slowly. He wasn't an afterthought, that was just his anxiety speaking. Zeke cared for him, or at least he hoped. In any case, this didn't seem like the appropriate location to have this conversation. There were still too many campers around, and there was a lot that Demi wanted to say. Or so it felt.

Demetri stood up from his seat, looking at Zeke. "Maybe we should bring this conversation somewhere else. I don't feel comfortable talking out here." He said as he tucked the box under one arm, his free hand clutching his arm loosely. Zeke continued to sit, and Demi simply rolled his eyes. The anger came back to him as he reached down and grabbed Zeke's wrist and pulled him off the seat. He began to walk towards the beach line, a usually private bank of sand that allowed them a bit more of the privacy that he wanted. On their way out they were stopped by some of the Hecate kids, Zeke was inspected and allowed through, but Demetri had to stand back for a moment as they tried once again. Nervousness settled inside of him, wondering if those shadows were reason for a second search.

With luck however, they eventually waved him through and he took hold of Zeke's wrist once more. Practically dragging the child of Apollo until they reached a private section on the sand. He stopped in his tracks, not facing Zeke for a moment until he finally worked the nerve up to turn around. "You don't know where to go from here? Really?! You think I have any bloody clue!" Demi let go of Zeke's wrist, his eye watering. "I don't care that you nearly killed me, I don't care that it's your hands imprinted onto my neck, what I care about is that you just left and ran back to herI. How do you think that makes me feel? Do you think it feels good to be someone's second thought? You want to know where to go from here then you've got to tell me where you want it to end up because at this point I don't know anymore. I just..."

Demi cut himself off, his words choking up inside his throat as if trying to remind him to breathe. He took half a step forward, then one back as he looked at Zeke in his entirety. "I'm sorry. It's not fair to you that I act like this. You said it from the beginning but...I can't help it at times."

Cassian Rudenko

Location: Camp Grounds
Skills:

Cassian huffed in mild annoyance as the Harpy managed to toss a grape straight into one of the pipes for his panflute. Regardless of the fact that the Harpy had taken Stella to the skies, everyone seemed to be giving him the odd look as if he wasn't simply trying to defend another camper. But he to admit, this whole Eidolon business had him on edge. He himself was moments away from potentially having been possessed, and he hated to think what the forces of Gaia could do if they had his powers. Cass let out a long sigh as he shook his head and pinched the bridge of his nose. He started making his way towards the Harpy, seeing Kiera already beginning to bandage her up.

Cassian held his hand out to help the Harpy up, the golden hue leaving his eyes as his hold over her fell to the wayside. "Sorry about that. I'm just...a little on edge thanks to all the talk of spirits possessing others. So when I saw someone snag a camper I panicked. Hope there's no hard feeling?" Once the Harpy was able to be on her foot again, Cassian pulled out his flute, staring down the pipe the grape was stuck in and sighing once more. He bet Dionysus never had these problems. He placed his lips to one end and blew as hard as he could, dislodging the grape as it flew straight towards the ground.

Stella felt a bit bad when it was identified that the harpy was a young harpy and had just wanted to play a prank. Sure, Stella wasn't thrilled with the idea of having been dragged up into a tree after the day she had had, and after volunteering for a quest. She had wanted to talk to her sister about which one they would go on. "Sorry, but I really wasn't sure where you were taking me!" SHe wasn't sure if the Harpy heard her, but well, she had to try to apologize even a little. She tucked away her scythe at that point, as she didn't need it anymore.

She turned to look to Marygold when when she spoke to her and blushed a bit as she was complimented a bit. "I'm alright, thankfully she didn't carry me off to far, but I do feel a bit bad that I hurt her. And thank you. I have a good feeling about the scythe." She offered Marygold a small smile and then looked at her again. "So... uh, do we want to talk about which quest we should each go on? Or well... I got the impression that you don't really pick it on your own... that it's kinda picked for you. Am I wrong?"

"His name is Chocolate." Andy told her aunt. She was a little confused though. The dog had definitely been in her brother's hands when she looked, and now he was in Arthur's. How had that happened? "What can Hellhounds do?" The dog had appeared out of nowhere as far as she could figure. It hadn't been at the seat when she sat there. It was not quite the same as the book and the metal marbles. Which reminded Andy.

"Oh, and I have this." She pulled out of her bag with her free hand the book they had found. It was a book of magic, obviously a gift for her. Today was a bizarre day of terrible things and mysterious gifts. Not to mention all the other weird stuff happening around camp. She realized she was very tired. She didn't want to go to the camp store tonight, but she knew it would be totally picked over if she waited for the morning. Andy yawned.

Location: Arena
Skills:

Niah let the dog sniff her hand, the kids had named it Chocolate. "Normal dogs can't have chocolate." She warned. Uncertain if that was true for hellhounds too. It would be hard to tell, but it would be better for the kids if they avoided it just in case. Andy nodded and said thank you.

Niah then looked over and saw Mary speaking with the young ginger girl who had stepped forward and volunteered for a quest. She seemed okay despite her moment of dealing with the Harpy. That was a good sign. Niah still didn't like that kids so young were included in the quests. But she had at least some combat ability. Maybe she would survive. Niah wondered which quest she would be on. Part of her seriously hoped it wouldn't be the same as she was on. She would be much too worried if there was a child on her quest. But if she was on the other then Mads would be with two kids for her quest. The kids should be split up so there wasn't a bunch of little kids on a quest together. But that wasn't her choice.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Arena
Skills: N/A

Arthur kept himself from rolling his eyes; of course they knew normal dogs couldn't have chocolate. He didn't know whether or not hellhounds had that same restriction, it would take research; but he didn't want to experiment on his new puppy. Ruffling his ears, he had a cute idea, "I'm calling him a heckhound until he grows up and you are literally incapable of changing my mind." He decided, placing the newly christened Chocolate The Heckhound down on the ground beside him. He was a little surprised by the fact that the dog had teleported into his hands, but he just put that in his mental list of tricks Chocolate knew.

It was at that moment Arthur had an idea, but quietly refused to vocalize it, on the grounds that, if it worked, he didn't want to spread hope around. Looking down at their new pet, he quietly wondered how far the dog could travel like that, and whether or not anybody or anything could travel with him when he did that. Perhaps when he was older Arthur could take him and go anywhere he wanted, but for now, he only needed one specific trick to work. He'd need to wait until they were older to actually went on their separate paths to test his idea, but for the first time in most of the night, he had hope.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena. -> Camp Store
Skills: N/A

Kristin turned her attention towards Janelle who freaked out a bit as a snake suddenly started to slither up her body, she was glad that Janelle was doing alright after that. Kristin went over towards the snake as it started to slither off into the distance, she wasnt sure what kind of snake it was or whether or not it was poisonous or not. "Hopefully it was just a garter snake or something." Kristin said as she looked at the Harpy and the others, that situation seemed to have been settled down now before going over towards the others who were going on the quest.

"I'm going to show Jason to the camp store if any of you want to come with you are welcome to join us." Kristin offered before making her way towards Jason and Janelle again. "Lets get going." Kristin said as she started to make her way towards the exit of the arena letting the kids from the Hecate Cabin use their magic on her and was cleared to exit the arena and made her way towards the camp store waiting just outside for them.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena
Skills: N/A

The Harpy gave Kiera a slight hug which she smiled at, as the Harpy managed to get back onto it's good foot, and then glared at Cassian for a moment crossing her arms over her chest. "Still you are a meanie!" She pouted and turned towards Stella, as she put her scythe away, the harpy started to calm down once it was away. "Sorry I didnt mean to hurt you." The harpy said as it started to take off and fly off into the night once again. Kristin then made her way over towards them saying that she was taking Jason to the camp store and nodded towards her. Though she had already gotten her supplies with Leda earlier in the day, she didnt really need anymore supplies than she already had.

Arthur was really happy with his hellhound puppy that he and Andy had found which looked really adorable to her, she looked over towards her girlfriend. "Where do you want to go love?" Kiera asked Leda, she didnt really mind or care really on where she wanted to go though if Arthur did need help with getting supplies then they could go to the camp store again to.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena
Skills: N/A

Madalyne turned towards Andy and smiled towards her asking what Hellhounds were able to do. "Well they are known to have the ability to shadow travel across vast distances and they tend to grow pretty big as well to and are really powerful to." Madalyne said as she turned towards Niah for a moment saying to not feed the dog chocolate. To her she was pretty sure that it wouldnt affect him due to the Hellhound being completely different from their more regular cousins.

Madalyne looked towards Kristin saying that she was going to show Jason the camp store and any of them were welcome to join if they wanted to or not. "I should be fine thank you for the offer though, unless Niah wants to go there." Madalyne said as she watched Kristin heading off, she was more than ready to get out of the arena and just try and relax and spend the last few hours with just Niah and Nancy alone.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena
Skills: N/A

Nancy raised an eyebrow at the roasted mouse Joanie brought to her - it felt very much like the offerings they would give to the gods. Her voice had returned to her, thankfully. "Good girl, Joanie," she praised. "Now just roast everyone who gets on my nerves next," she joked. She was in a bit of a mood. The emotional tampering from Niah still left a sour taste in her mouth, as did just about everything vaguely Greek at the moment. She wished that the Legion was back in New Rome where they belonged - things had been so much simpler then. And less aggravating. Leandra had been her only major issue - now, there was an entire squad of Greeks whose heads Nancy very much wanted to separate from their bodies. She didn't really want to go over to Mads at the moment either, not wanting to think about how her best friend was going to her death in the morning, but she did anyways.

Nancy scratched Joanie's nose gently, holding the roasted mouse in her other hand - it felt wasteful to just throw it on the ground. Plus, she hoped that it kept people other than her closest friends from wanting to talk to her - maybe it would scare them away. She didn't say anything though - Mads was still interacting with some of the Greeks, Nancy was fine being silent for a moment, waiting for Mads and Niah to be ready to leave the arena.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena
Skills: N/A

Leda snorted slightly as Kristin brought up baby Hercules. "Yeah, we'll have a cuppa and I'll tell him that." Temporarily taking care of a baby cyclops had been one of the more random things they had to do on that quest. Hopefully if they did run into Hercules, he was growing up to be a nice non-murderous cyclops. Leda would hate to kill him - or at least, that's what she would claim. Of course, at the moment she was more concerned with a different young monster - the poor harpy that had been so viciously attacked. She was surprised to see Cassian actually apologize to the harpy - maybe she had misjudged him. Leda did tend to judge people a bit harshly.

Thankfully, the harpy was okay and it took off into the air, flying away. Kiera asked her where she wanted to. Arthur didn't really seem to need their help at all getting ready. "Eh, if you want we can go to your cabin now?" Leda suggested. There wasn't really anything left on her to-do list more or less. They had gotten all of their supplies and Leda didn't feel a need to hang around other people.

Stella was still waiting for Marygold to answer her, when she heard the Harpy speak again and apologize to her for hurting her. "We're good, but next time if you want to play just let me know, okay?" Stella waved a bit as the harpy flew off, as she got the impression that they might be around the same age, as the harpy was young like her. Maybe when she got back from her quest she could get to know the other creatures around the camp. She had wanted to see the Pegasus before, but it seemed that since she had volunteered herself for a quest, she would be leaving come the morning.

She was still looking around, wondering how people were dividing up for the quests. She was either the garden or child of flower... she had a feeling the was more the child of flower of the two. That meant the child of War and Oaths would be her partner... she knew a child of war, and so she looked over to Jason. He had seemed nice enough earlier when they had been on the tour, both him and his sister. The other one, about the maze, the cursed, and the storm... she didn't know who either of those other two were, at least she didn't think she knew. So she'd rather be with Jason and the oaths person.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Arena -- Camp Half-Blood
Skills:

Ezekiel was staring at the ground when Demetri spoke and stood. Ezekiel didn’t even notice until he was being dragged to his feet and then towards the camp exit. Ezekiel went first, getting cleared by the Hecate cabin. He had held his breath during the brief process, worried he would still be possessed but thankfully, he wasn’t. Ezekiel turned to watch Demetri go through the process but Demi was held back and Zeke rose an eyebrow in concern. He thought it would be fitting if Demetri was possessed. Demi was probably going to give Zeke an earful anyway; not that Zeke would be able to hear it.
Demetri was cleared and they started walking again. Ezekiel just followed Demetri, not sure where they were going and he was starting to get more and more concerned over the fact that he couldn’t hear anything. Not their footsteps, not the wind and not the water as they neared the lake. Ezekiel looked around, wiggling fingers in his ear but still hearing eluded him. He looked at Demetri, seeing that he was speaking and attempted to read Demi’s lips again. It was rather dark out here and he wasn’t having the best success. This is why Zeke wanted to stay by the fire. Ezekiel took a step closer to Demetri and focused all his attention on Demetri’s lips rather than his body. Finally, he started to make out words and placed them with Demetri’s voice. Yup, Demi was giving him an earful.
He looked down after Demitri apologized. He didn’t understand really how Demetri could forgive him like that but he was grateful for it, even though the guilt of what he did still gripped his stomach tightly.
”We had an agreement,” Ezekiel deflected. Of course he knew it was never going to work out. Demetri rushed into agreeing and promised that this wouldn’t affect their relationship or other relationships they wanted to pursue but Zeke knew Demi was more involved than he had been.
Ezekiel looked up at Demetri and raised his hand. He stretched out his fingers and brushed the bruises on Demi’s neck. They were already fading and Zeke hoped they would be gone by tomorrow. Zeke pulled his hand back and shoved it into his pocket. His fingers still tingled from the light touch to Demetri's skin. Ezekiel shifted his attention to the water. The irony of them being here and having yet another argument about their relationship was not lost on him.
He looked back at Demetri. ”I went to Janelle and the others because I feel comfortable around them, Dem. Why would I run to the person I assaulted for comfort? Kind of a dick move, wouldn’t you say?” Ezekiel looked away once more and shook his head, stealing his courage before he looked back at Demetri. ”I came back because I care about you, too. And I realized that I was being a self-absorbed asshole, worried about my own problems but you were the one I assaulted so you were affected by this just as much as I was. Worse even. I’m sorry for forgetting that.”

Again Demi found Zeke looking at his lips. Once by the fire and now again while in the midst of an argument. He couldn't understand what was going on with him, here he was, the moonlight shining softly in his hair and telling him they had an agreement, all while getting moments ago was staring at his lips. He wanted to say something, to scream or yell, but Zeke caught him off guard as he gently caressed his neck. All thought of the marks had left Demetris mind. All he knew was that Zeke had just brushed his fingertips in the most tender way across his neck after eyeing his lips. Demi's heart pounded so loud that he could hear it in his ears. Anxiety swelling up inside him as he looked at his periphery and noted how alone they both were.

Without thought, Demi took a step forward. Closing what small distance they had between them until their noses were barely touching. He leaned in and gave Zeke a tender kiss and quickly pulled back. "You've been eyeing my mouth all night mate. If you wanted to steal a kiss you could've just asked." His heart was still pounding in his ribs as one hand reached for Zeke's and gently tugged at his pants pockets as if to signal he wanted to hold hands. Demi let out a breath he hadn't realised he was holding before speaking again. "I care about you too dumbass. Which is why I want you to feel comfortable around me too." He noticed Zeke's ears perking up, even now he managed to make him smile. Demetri traced the edges of Zeke's ear with his free hand until he reached the bottom. "You're cute when you smile, you know? Your ears perk up and even with you looking away I can still tell because of it." His eyes lingered on the son of Apollo for a moment before he continued. "I was gonna ask Andy if she wanted to spend the night in Hades cabin so she can spend time with Arthur before tomorrow. I'd be all alone in Zeus Cabin...if you wanted to...talk, ya know?"

Cassian Rudenko

Location: Camp Grounds
Skills:

It was no surprise to Cassian that the Harpy denied his aid. After all, physical wounds could heal, but the ones left behind by mental tampering tended to linger for longer. Still, he acted according to what information he had and if anyone was going to threaten them again, he'd do the same. Once the Harpy had flown away, his attention was pulled by the commotion that had been caused by the snake. Had he not been so preoccupied at the time he probably could've helped deal with it. After all he was a friend to all animals and took great pride in his ability to handle them. He'd often heard jokes about how if Pan and Dionysus ever had time to get together that it'd form a merry friendship full of lifelong parties.

Though Cassian wasn't the most fond of those ideals, he did enjoy the nature side to the god. While his father grew vines with rich fruits and versatile uses, the Satyrs were capable of using their magic to help make them flourish and grow. Cassian's hand drifted softly towards his panflute, thinking about the nature magic the children of Pan wielded and how often times he wished he could do the same. He assumed that was why his father had gifted him the panflute in the first place. The scene appeared to be dying down all around him, campers making their way towards the children of Hecate as they were checked for possession and it made him wonder. Would this be enough?

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Arena
Skills: N/A

"I just 'ate snakes...But dat freaked me out mahre den usual because I couldn't tell it was dere until it was around me neck already..." Janelle commented with a bit of a shrug in general. She really really hated snakes in general, but having one wrap around her neck like that and she couldn't exactly see it was her worst nightmare. That was the main reason she really feared snakes, sure it was a bit of an overreaction in general with it, but she it just freaked her out with that sort of thing in general.

Jason knew exactly why his sister freaked out the way that she did, though she didn't explain the fact to well that it wasn't just kind of dangerous snakes that she hated, it was all snakes. So Kristin mentioning that it might be a simple snake that likely wasn't too horrible probably wasn't the best thing to point out ever. However he wasn't going to point that out at the moment with regards to that, at least for the time being. "I'm just glad you're okay," he ended up saying to his sister.

She just shrugged in response to that, before she turned to look at Kristin, and if it wasn't truly obvious, she was clearly going to tag along with the others to the camp store. That was her thought process anyway. Listening carefully, she made her way over towards the exit of the arena and got into the line of people who were waiting for the Hecate kids to clear them. She stuck close to Kristin, and she was rather glad that she wasn't possessed or something without noticing it at all. So that was a nice thing that Janelle was glad that she didn't have to deal with.

He followed along after the other two, personally Jason was rather glad that there wasn't any other sort of chaos aside from a harpy thing that had popped up not long ago, and the snake deciding to choke his sister. At least so far no one had gotten possessed again or something like that again right? Or at least it appeared that way anyway, as he followed after Kristin and Janelle through the line by the entrance to the arena. He waited and once he got cleared by the Hecate kids, he just followed after the other two, sticking close by.

Marygold Isley

Location: The Arena

Mary looked at the harpy, and its interactions with Cassian still were hilarious in her mind. The harpy calling Cassian a meanie rather loudly was kind of funny to her in general, of course her attention turned towards Stella when she was mentioning the whole idea of choosing who goes on which prophecy or whatever and she let out a bit of a sigh, and shook her head. It was not an easy thing to potentially explain, what all was going on, and why she was very hesitant to tell her why she was very hesitant about just choosing openly who went on what quest, since it was a difficult thing to really explain.

"...Look, Stella, there is a reason why I'm hesitant to have us just choose between you and me, and I'd prefer to have someone else say who should go where. Namely because if I choose who went where and something happened to you on your quest, I couldn't really live with myself. If you choose where you want to go and once again something happens to you on that quest or something, then I couldn't live with myself still. At least if someone else just flat out told us who goes where, it would make it a little easier for me if something happened to you, since at least then it would be a lot harder for me to find a way to pin the blame on myself," she explained to her, and that was fully the truth, and the reason why she didn't want either of them to be the ones to choose.

Andy nodded thinking about what Chocolate could do. She had two pets now. "Before bed, Arthur, I want to swing by and see Gryf to introduce the two of them." She hoped Gryf wouldn't think she preferred the puppy over him just because she would allow the puppy to sleep with her. It would be comforting to have the hellhound there too. She sometimes had nightmares and while traveling it would be reassuring to have the hellhound there for safety.

"Do you want to go to the store?" She asked Arthur. Leaving it up to him. She'd go if he wanted to. And that meant they'd have first pick instead of waiting for the morning. But that left a lot to do tonight. The store, the stables, and then finally bed.

"Ah, no I'm good." Niah said in response to the question if she wanted to go to the camp store. "Do you mind if I step over and speak with Mary? I want to see which quest she feels drawn to. If it the same as mine, or with you." She said. Then walked over to where Mary and another red-haired girl stood talking. Niah guessed they were sisters.

"Hello Mary. And hello," She turned to Stella. "My name is Niah. I believe one of you is joining Mads and Andy on their quest and the other will be joining me." She hadn't heard Mary's logic, so she didn't know that Mary had hopes someone would just tell them which quest to join. "Do you have any preference? I know Andy is fond of you Mary." She added the last bit hopeful that Mary would take the hint.

Not to mention that Niah would be measured to know that Andy wouldn't be left alone with another kid after Mads- she cut off the thought. Not wanting to think of one of her best friend's dire future. Niah would deal with traveling with a child if it meant Andy wouldn't be left nearly alone. Though she could imagine if the two were in a group together it would seal a lifelong friendship.

Kristin leaned herself slightly against the door for a moment as Jason and Janelle both were there, she wasnt sure if the others wanted to go get their own supplies or not. But she was fine with just showing Jason and Janelle around, as she dug into her pocket and pulled out a few drachmas. "If it makes you feel any better Janelle i'm deathly afraid of spiders, just those eight eyes and legs looking around makes me cringe." Kristin said, though all children of Athena had some fear of spiders due to Arachne one of Athena's enemies in Greek Mythology, she walked into the store was empty for the most part as well to.

"So what i'd probably recommend getting since this is your first quest and all would be some nectar and ambrosia, they'll defintely come in handy out there." Kristin said as she gestured towards the shelf that contained a few bottles of nectar and small bags of ambrosia and then went over towards another shelf that had some lighters and matches. "Some lighters or matches will be useful as well to." Kristin thought for a moment and then gestured towards some backpacks and sleeping bags. "I'd also recommend getting food to if you don't know how to hunt out there to." Kristin said as she went back towards Janelle.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Arena -> Poseidon Cabin

Kiera remembered Hercules being mentioned once or twice when she was around Zeke and Kristin and wondered what the cyclops was actually like as well. "Hopefully he has grown up to be a friendly cyclops." Kiera said as she looked towards Cassian for a moment and then over towards Leda suggesting going to her cabin. "That works for me love." Kiera said, Arthur was a bit preoccupied by the looks of it as she ran a hand through her hair. "Good night Cassian." Kiera said giving him a slight wave towards him, gently taking Leda's hand and started to make her way towards the exit of the arena.

The arena was clearing out a lot quicker now as the hecate kids were clearing out the others, and eventually it was her and Leda's turn, one of them was holding some weird looking charm thing that started to glow green as the kid scanned them and waved them through. "It kind of feels like going through airport security." Kiera said, she had flown only a small handful of times when she was younger, and every time she did fly there was always really bad weather when they were in the air. Kiera made her way towards her cabin and opened the door holding the door open for her girlfriend. Kiera could feel the warm ocean breeze that her cabin always had hitting her made her feel more relaxed. "So what do you want to do?" Kiera asked her.

Madalyne Crane

Madalyne stood by Nancy and then looked towards the burnt rat that Nancy was holding and then over at Joanie which she smiled and shook her head a bit. "Looks like she brought you dinner." Madalyne teased Nancy a little bit as Danielle stood a few feet behind, as Madalyne watched Andy and Arthur for a moment. "Do you want to take a walk along the beach or something when we are done here just the three of us?" Madalyne asked Nancy, if she was going to end up dying on this quest she wanted to spend it with her two closest friends, that she considered as her sisters and just be themselves for a little while.

The others had gone off to go and get supplies for their quests, Madalyne nodded towards Niah as she went over to talk to Mary and Stella. She started to think for a moment, she knew what her fate might end up being on the quest and she didnt want to have Andy and Stella two kids alone to fend for themselves and spoke up. "Mary if you want to, you can go with me and Andy on ours." She said to her, it was more logical to her as well to and Stella would have two older campers with her as well to.

Arthur was very interested in shadow travel now. If he could do that, then his idea might actually work. He and Andy could stay in pretty regular contact, so long as one of them had Chocolate, assuming he could actually reliably travel between the two of them. Thy would honestly be ideal, if they could train the pup to carry messages between them. He didn't see a reason that wouldn't be possible, besides getting Chocolate to understand roughly where everyone was. In any case, he'd need to experiment.

Shaking his head at Andy, he said, "I think we can go to the store in the morning, maybe just Gryf and then bed?" If she really wanted to head to the store, he wasn't gonna try to stop her, but he was getting tired, and he wanted to have the energy to actually spend the night with Andy, and not be a walking zombie. He honestly didn't know what kind of supplies he'd need to get anyway, so taking some time to think it over could realistically only help him. He didn't wanna get in there and waste a ton of time window shopping.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Beach -- Camp Half-Blood
Skills:

Ezekiel seriously hoped his hearing would return soon. His eyes hurt from staring so much to try and understand Demetri and not to mention the eerie feeling of only hearing muffled sounds. There was a pop! And suddenly Ezekiel could hear again. Everything came in a rush, the sound of the water, people in the distance and Demetri moving forward to kiss Zeke.
His eyes widened in surprise until Demetri spoke and explained himself. It sounded like Demi was speaking above normal volume for a minute while Zeke’s hearing adjusted to the sounds around him again. He smiled, relieved he could hear but also from Demetri’s words. Demetri tugged on Zeke’s pocket, trying to get his hand and Ezekiel relented, giving Demetri his hand until Demetri stroked his ear and Ezekiel gently swatted his hand away.
”I had to stare. I couldn’t hear anything until just now,” Ezekiel explained. ”Must have been a delayed reaction to Nancy’s yelling or something.” He shuffled his feet on the ground, glad he could hear the small rocks rolling under his shoes.
Ezekiel raised an eyebrow when Demetri basically invited Zeke to stay the night. It honestly surprised him. Not so much the asking but because he wasn’t going to spend the night with Andy and Arthur. ”Are you sure you don’t want to spend the night with them?” Since both kids were going on quests, the Zeus cabin would be empty aside from Demetri the whole time they were gone.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena
Skills: N/A

Nancy hated the way the suggestion of a walk, just the three of them, felt like a goodbye. A chill then ran down her spine as she realized she had been so busy being moody and fretting over Mads, that she hadn't considered she could lose Niah as well. Both of them would be striking out on their own, without Nancy to protect them. She was the brawler in the group, the one who dealt the maximum amount of damage, allowing them to do their schemes and spells. Would their Greek companions even be able to protect them? She could feel her heart tighten up in anxiety. She wasn't a romantic person - she didn't experience those sorts of feelings at all. But in the truest sense of the word, Niah and Madalyne were her best friends, her soulmates. And she wasn't going to be there for them.

Her heart was filled with fear and bitterness. "Yeah, a walk sounds nice," she said, trying to sound normal and fine and calm. Mads and Niah were the ones going off on quests - not her. She didn't need anyone to comfort her. She'd feel ashamed if they even tried to reassure her, she was the one who was supposed to reassure them. Nancy hated prophecies. She hated the pre-destination of it all. It made her want to scream - again. Just scream until the entire world fell to pieces.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: Arena -> Poseidon Cabin
Skills: N/A

Leda grimaced slightly as the Hecate Cabin kids checked them for possession on the way out, the strange charm glowing green. She had half expected one of them to hold a grudge and pretend she had been possessed - but then again, maybe they didn't care anymore about Leda dumping their sibling. Maybe she was the one still dwelling on everything that had happened. It had been ages since she had seen Rebecca anyways, her ex girlfriend dipping out on all of them when aboard the Argo.

They made their way to Kiera's cabin and instantly, a salty sea breeze hit Leda's nostrils. She didn't hate it, but she wasn't over the moon about it either. The best thing about this cabin was the peace and quiet. Kiera, unlike Leda, didn't have a million siblings, meaning that they could have some much needed privacy. She smirked slightly as Kiera asked what she wanted to do. There was a very obvious reason as to why they had come here to this cabin, away from prying eyes, and there was something they wouldn't be able to do with Arthur nearby. "I could eat you out, if you'd like, luv."

Stella looked at Marygold and nodded at her words. She understood what Marygold was saying, and she could understand what was going on. The choice wasn't suppose to be theirs. Someone else was suppose to decide where the daughters of Demeter went, where their help ended up going. She was still so new to this, but somehow she felt like she understood a few things from that one day. The oracle had given a prophecy, and instead of picking who would go, they had asked others to volunteer. She looked to the other woman there, Niah, and then listened to her speak and she reached out and took Marygold's hand.

"I'll go with Miss Niah and Jason their quest then. I trust Jason, he's been really nice to me today, and if Andy is fond of you, Mary, you should go with her. I'll be fine. I like how you feel Niah, I think I can trust you." Stella offered her older sister a smile at that point and squeezed her hand gently to reassure her that everything would be fine. She had made the choice, and this way, Mary wouldn't feel bad for picking where she went. Yes, it was still true that Marygold might blame herself if Stella got injured on her own quest, but Stella knew that they all ran the risk of being injured, as she had seen coming into camp.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Camp Grounds
Skills:

Demi's face flushed red as Zeke explained he had temporary hearing loss. He'd felt so confident and suave only moments ago and it quickly deflated and left room in for embarrassment as he took on what just happened. He looked away from Zeke, gazing upon the water as he tried to collect himself. On one hand, Zeke cared enough about what he had to say to try and read his lips even in this dim lighting. On the other had, what must he be thinking now that Demi just kissed him seemingly unprovoked all due to a massive misunderstanding. He ran his free hand against the nape of his neck, feeling awkward.

Demetri only turned to face Zeke when he asked about Arthur and Andy. It was true that they were going on a quest the next day, and it was something that Demi had been running through his mind in the background of all this. But it all seemed to point towards the same answer. "I think that's exactly why it's best for them to spend the night together. At the end of the day they're going to miss each other's company far more than mine. I think this might be the first time that they've had to be separated since Camp started." Demi was having a hard time looking Zeke directly in the eye. Scanning pasts him every once in a while. "I'd rather not spend the night alone. But I think this would be good for them both."

Cassian Rudenko

Location: Camp Grounds
Skills:

Cassian was surprised to hear Kiera calling out to him and wishing him a good night. He gave her a polite wave back, though probably not as enthusiastically. He held his thumb, pointer and middle finger outstretched as he made a singular downward motion accompanied by a smile. "Have a good night, get some rest you two." He was trying to recall who all was chosen for a quest, figuring one of those two had likely been, though he doubted either would actually let the other sleep tonight. Tonight's mood still hung heavy on his chest, looking towards the fire and the faces lit up in its wake. The campers formed lines as they got checked out by the Hecate kids. It seemed bleak, but tomorrow dawned a new day and with it held hope.

Cassian decided that perhaps this was why he hadn't been chosen for any of the grand quests. His place was here in the camp where he could keep an ear to the ground and have the creatures of the woods help him see what others might miss. This camp was his home just as much as the one where his mother resided, and he needed to do what he could to protect it. Cassian made his way into one of the lines, shuffling along as they went step by step. Having seen the procedure enough times by the time he had gone up there, he followed suit to what he'd seen and was quickly cleared to go back to his cabin. He didn't spot his siblings anywhere, but hoped they were doing well.

Jason and Janelle Gauger

"I dahn't even know what a snake looks like, aside frahm de fact dat it slethers, and 'as no lembs and typically kend o' sharp teeth, and unless sahmeone describes it to me in detail I know naht mahre den dat... Naht to mention you just now described to me what a spider looks like way better den what anyone else 'as actively tahld me about spiders, so I'll add dat to me lest o' knowledge," she commented to Kristin with a bit of a giggle in response to what she had been saying after all. Though she know knew a bit more on the appearances of spiders then she likely would have ever wanted to.

He rolled his eyes slightly, hearing their conversation with regards to being a little fearful of everything or stuff like that. Personally, he didn't really like to tell anyone his fears at all, or really talk about that sort of thing in general. However the one thing that would be more then a little bit obvious for him would be that his typical fear revolved around the safety of his younger sister. She was the only family he technically had, even if he had a bunch of half siblings (and her too) that they discovered when they reached the camp in general.

She followed along after Kristin as she led the way to where the camp store was, and as she started more or less going over what it was that Jason might want to take with him on the quest and all. Currently, she was just thinking about how everything had ended up going on her own quest with Kristin and Zeke. That had definitely been an interesting sort of situation for her, and at least she more or less had the pair who had gone on a quest before to aid her. She wasn't too sure if the Roman who was going with them had gone on a quest before, so she was a little concerned about how everything would go for him.

Currently, he was just sort of listening to what it was that Kristin was saying that he might need with regards to supplies and such like that. He wasn't too sure what to even expect from this sort of thing, going on quests or what sort of monsters might be the ones that they'd encounter, and he just sort of nodded his head and went along with everything in general for it. Though what she was recommending did make sense to him, and he just sort of nodded his head when she spoke. "Well, seems to me like dere is a laht dat might be good to take, good to know," he commented with a bit of a shrug, looking at everything.

Marygold Isley

Location: The Arena

Mary still wasn't too thrilled with this entire situation, and she was not too happy with Stella seemingly deciding to basically ignore what it is that she is saying about how Chiron literally should have been the adult in the situation to actually tell them who goes where as opposed to just saying "Screw it you two get to decide, have fun deciding who goes on which quest where you might die!" Yeah, that's how she saw this situation, and it was the main reason why she was not wanting to make that call, she was very much not wanting either of them to make that declaration in general.

Hearing as Stella declared where she was going to go, and how she was going to go with the group that had Jason and the roman girl (well, one of the Romans, she didn't remember all of their names) was a bit concerning, and she wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to let her just go with it. Letting out a bit of a sigh, she looked at Stella after she spoke, and decided to give her her own response. "Alright, if you are so sure about this and everything Stella, then alright, I'll go with Andy and all on that quest..."

"That sounds good." Andy said. "Hold on." She said and looked for Mads real quick. "We're going to introduce Gryf to Chocolate. I'll see you tomorrow morning." Andy said. She gave her Aunt a wave and smile. Then held out her hand for Arthur to take hers. As they walked to the stables the Hecate kids cleared her.

She went looking for Gryf, he was in his normal stall. "Keep Chocolate away for a moment." She told Arthur, then grabbed some salted fish she had saved for him in the storage. She went to Gryf's stall. "Hey Gryf. I have a few things to tell you." She started. "First I'm going on a quest. But I'll make sure you're taken care of while I'm gone. Second, I want you to meet my new dog." That was easier to say than try to get into the rest. Andy wasn't even sure Gryf would understand her. "His name is Chocolate. But you should know that doesn't move you from my heart at all. You came to me first. And helped me a ton." She wondered if she could get away with taking him with her still. If she did Chocolate could go with Arthur maybe then.

Niah was impressed. Stella seemed to have a pretty good head on her shoulders for as young as she was. And she had volunteered. Though honestly why she had was beyond Niah. At least with Andy, it made sense. There was no other option for Andy. "It'll be a pleasure to have you." Niah told her honestly.

"I'll see you in the morning." She said and waved. Then she went back to join Mads and Nancy. "Alright. I'm ready. Let's go." Niah smiled. It wasn't her saddest smile, but it was melancholic. She looked over at the lakeside. There appeared to be a couple of people. They'd want to avoid them.

Demeter's Cabin:

Over the night both Mary and Stella would both get two really strange dreams, for Mary she was in what looked to be the labyrinth and she would be able to see both Andy and Madalayne her two other quest mates on the quest. There was what looked to be a sword stuck inside of a pedestal of sorts, with the symbol of Hades on it, and it was being protected by a giant with grey eyes, and hair and a pair of dragon like legs that were also white, and wore a tattered tunic of sorts as well to. It looked like he was talking to someone through a mirror of some kind but it was to dark to see and make out to see the figure in the mirror itself before Mary would end up waking up.

In Stella's dream she would be able to see the ruins of New Rome, there was an army of monster that ended up setting up shop in the ruins of the Roman's city. They would eventually travel up to Mount Orthyrss, the Titan's equivalent to the Olympian's Mount Olympus, she'd be able to see Atlas sitting on a throne of sorts with Terminus holding up the weight of the sky with the literal weight of the sky on the god's back he appeared to be very weak. Atlas was holding what looked to be Zeus' master bolt in his hands. Both Mary and would wake up to some yelling in the distance where Zeus' cabin currently was who ever was yelling clearly wasnt happy at all.

Ares' Cabin:

Jason would get the same exact dream that Stella would have and he would instantly be able to recognize the ruins of New Rome, without to much issue. Atlas was sitting on the throne tinkering with Zeus' master bolt, and he would use it and aim it at the ruins of New Rome, causing a massive bolt of lightening to come crashing down destroying one of the buildings within New Rome. Jason would then suddenly be waken up by his half-brother Jace with a slight laugh, yelling could be heard in the distance. "Looks like Coach Hedge found some campers sneaking around." He said as he went to go out and see what was actually going on there.

Hypnos' Cabin:

Over in the Hypnos' cabin everything seemed to be fairly quiet for the most part, some of Janelle's cabin mates were slowly waking up and getting ready for their day. She'd be able to hear some kind of commotion going on outside of her cabin as some of her cabin mates were just waking up as well to, a little bit tired and disoriented. Some kids in the Hypnos Cabin were always known to be pretty lazy for the most part. Isaac the head councilor for the Hypnos cabin turned to look over at her. "Did you sleep well?" Isaac ended up asking her to lighten the mood up a bit and to make some conversation, clearly just tuning out what was going on outside with Gleeson Hedge.

Dionysus's Cabin:

Over in the Dionysus cabin everything would be pretty calm for the most part as some of Cassian's half-brothers and sisters were waking up and were getting ready to head to the dining pavilion for some breakfast. Like the other parts around the cabin's Cassian would be able to easily hear some yelling going on. And if he were to look out the window he'd catch a glimpse of a rather short and stocky satyr entering Zeus' Cabin with a baseball bat in hand, and the yelling getting much louder as well to. Dean couldn't help but laugh a little bit at what was going on, he wasnt sure who exactly Gleeson Hedge had set his eyes on but it was going to be really funny to see.

Zeus' Cabin:

Over at Zeus' Cabin both Zeke and Demetri would be in for an exteremely rude awakening, at first it was some loud banging on the door to the cabin. When that didnt happen the door was opened, it was Gleeson Hedge, a satyr that sometimes took his job a little bit to seriously and would make sure that the campers were always on good behavior. Hedge quickly set his eyes directly at Zeke and glared at him, and took his baseball bat and started smacking Zeke with it, though the hits werent extremely hard they would still hurt quiet a bit.

"Kel and Howell! Both of you should know better to be sleeping over in cabin's that aren't yours!" He said angrily, as he went in and gave Demeteri the same treatment as well to. "This is against camp rules, you have five minutes to get back to your cabin Kel, or you'll go straight to Chiron and Mr. D!" Coach Hedge said smacking Zeke and Demi one more time each, before Coach Hedge turned and left the cabin.

Hades' Cabin:

Over in the Hades Cabin where Andy and Arthur stayed the night, the two of them would also end up getting dreams just like the others who were going on a quest. For Arthur he'd be under water in the ocean with both Kiera and Leda, there was what looked to be a camp similar to Camp Half-Blood by the looks of it with merpeople who were defending the camp from Oceanus himself. He was carrying Poseidon's Trident in his hand while attacking anyone who would attack him. Arthur would wake up shortly after this and he'd be able to hear some rather loud yelling.

Andy would get the same dream as Mary and Madalyne would, they were in the labyrinth himself, with a giant talking to someone and a sword sitting on a pedestal nearby. She'd also be able to see a rather large menacing looking spear as well to close by to the giant's side while he was distracted and talking to someone in the mirror. Her dream would suddenly end rather quickly and she'd hear the same yelling as well to, if both Arthur and Andy looked outside the two of them would see Coach Hedge storming out of Zeus' cabin it looked like he was getting ready to inspect some more cabin violations.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Athena Cabin -> Outside of Hades Cabin
Skills: N/A

Kristin slowly started to yawn a little bit and stretched out as she went to get herself ready for the day, she made her way over towards her cabin's bathroom and started to get changed. As well was doing a quick little shower as well to. After Kristin had done that she went to brush her teeth. Which didnt take long for her to do at all and came out of the bathroom, to get fully changed, when she paused and heard Coach Hedge's voice, Kristin sighed and shook her head slightly. The old satyr was always a stickler for the rules, luckily she was good at staying out of trouble for the most part.

Kristin started to make her way out of the cabin, Hedge had gone to one of the other cabin's she decided to check on Andy and Arthur, she didnt want either of them on Coach Hedge's wrath either. Kristin knocked on Arthur's door before sticking her head in to see Andy was there. "Good morning, I hope you two had a good night sleep. Coach Hedge is on the war path it seems so Andy you may want to sneak out of here before he swings by." She warned her.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Poseidon Cabin
Skills: N/A

Kiera and Leda both would have the same dream that Arthur had, the three of them were under the ocean and they were in what looked to be an underwater version of Camp Half-Blood. The forces of the camp and her father's were fighting against Oceanus' army who had Poseidon's trident within his hands, which was a bit terrifying to her before the dream suddenly ended. Kiera slowly opened her eyes and looked over towards her sleeping girlfriend and leaned forward and gently laid a few gentle kisses along her neck. "Good morning." Kiera said to Leda as she gave her another kiss on the cheek as she started to slowly sit up and stretched out.

Thats when she heard Coach Hedge's voice and she quickly got out of her bed she went over towards a nearby window seeing Hedge coming out looking rather annoyed leaving Zeus' cabin. "It looks like Hedge found some violators, you should probably sneak out before he comes over here." Kiera said turning to look over at her girlfriend and joined her back in bed and kissed her lovingly once more, she was still a bit nervous going on this quest.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Roman Portion, Praetor Tent.
Skills: N/A

After spending most of the night with Nancy and Niah walking along the beach by Camp Half-Blood was rather nice, and just relaxing it was probably the most normal thing she had in a really long time. They had moved Leandra into the Cohort tent and each member of the legion took turns watching over her. After talking into the wee hours in the morning Mads eventually crashed for the night before getting a strange dream much like she did on any other quest though. She was in the Labyrinth with Mary as well as her niece Andy, seeing the spear nearby and the giant though she couldnt tell or hear what it was talking to through the mirror but she knew that it wasnt good at all.

Niah would get the same exact dream that both Stella and Jason would have, getting a brief glimpse of their former home of New Rome in ruins as an army of monsters made themselves home there. And then seeing Atlas sitting on the throne holding Zeus' master bolt in his hands and Terminus being held there to hold the weight of the sky up on his back just as the dream had faded away. Madalyne slowly woke up and stretched out slightly, she looked over at Niah and Nancy still there. Joanie was sleeping on top of Nancy's head sound asleep as well to. Mads went up to get changed, taking a moment and stared at her Praetor clothes neatly laid out knowing that she wouldnt be wearing them for a long time now.
