MHW was amazing.
I would probably have liked Rise but I dont really like the zip around bug thing idea. Like I'm sure I would come to like it, but I don't really need to be spending the kind of time I'd probably spend playing that game if i got it.
I really like Switches, but man, having it on PC is something. I've gotta upgrade mine at some point relatively soon, but I've been using a laptop that was $500 when I got it. It's selling for $800 now.
If you've got that kind of money to spare keep an eye out around Black Friday.
I've been thinking of repurchasing MHW on PC once I get a new laptop that can run such games. I enjoyed Rise, and I'm enjoying Sunbreak now - the wirebugs took some getting used to but now I love them, it's so fun to move around with them. That being said, I also love love loved World. It's probably my second favorite Monster Hunter title, after 4U
(which btw, yay my fav monster Shagaru is back in Sunbreak!) and I'm much looking forward to "World 2." Or I guess it would be Monster Hunter 6, since World and Rise together are the 5th generation games. I don't really know what it was about World for me that made me like it so dang much, and more than Rise. I remember first playing it being so weirded out by all the changes they made from the previous gen haha, but it turned out real well for Capcom 'cause it got so many people into the series.
But anyway, ya. Monster Hunter good. Sunbreak is nice so far, the follower quests I thought would be kind of annoying with the NPCs talking through the hunt but they're pretty charming actually. I love the transition from Japan and Yokai inspired monsters to classic like Western movie monsters. Taking the game slow but having fun.
Besides that I've been slowly catching up on my other Switch games. Kirby was pretty fun. Triangle Strategy is awesome if you like strategy games. Ace Attorney Chronicles is amazing, definitely recommend for fans of the series or anyone that wants to jump into it. And I'm super hyped for Live A Live remake later this month. And Harvestella trailer looked pretty interesting.
