Let me take this a step further and say PCs regularly practiced the perception of acausal effects. They knew that phenomena (that which can be perceived by the senses) and noumena (that which is the thing-itself) were both illusions, with the second one just being more clever.

PCs could divide by zero. PCs could have negative Armour on a juggernaut and still have them there, standing clear as day. There isn't even a word to describe the Player Characters' views on divinity. They were atheists in a universe where gods existed.
