Welcome to Mytheria
The premise is that The Empire, the last bastion of freedom, culture and prosperity for all, is under attack by a powerful witch. This witch has coralled all the dark forces of the world under her command and is making an attempt to destroy all that is good. And so, with armies and heroes falling left and right, the Emperor has called for The Summoning.
That is where your characters come in.
Your characters will be regular humans in our world, who, when dragged to Mytheria via The Summoning, will have enhanced abilities that fall under the usual DnD classifications (Fighter, Ranger, Mage, Healer etc.) and they will not be able to return home until they have dealt with the threat. They will not be super powerful right away though, and will need time and experience to hone their new-found skills. Can they figure out how to kill this seemingly invincible witch who has bested great heroes and armies already? Will they have what it takes to become a team, fight as one, and execute the impossible?
The Empire is a multiracial homeland where live humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes and more.
The party of characters will have to fight, think and travel to overcome the obstacles, often helping others along the way or seeking aid themselves. Dungeon crawling for gear or doing odd jobs for the money to buy gear will be essential too.
